Hasta el Fin Del Mundo #34 20141002 Something Happened, As Usual--Updated!

Mads is sick.  I didn't watch last night's epic epi.  Please feel free to comment or write your own version.  I will be recapping tonight's episode.  Peace!

Xlnt provided us with an Xlnt short recap!
Thanks so much!  See below!

Here's a quick and dirty bullet point recap of the show:

Sofia visits Chava in jail. Aracely shows up and introduces herself as Chava's ex-novio. Sofia goes back to work with the realization that she has some competition.

Aracely offers to be Chava's lawyer. Chava agrees.

Irma tries to convince Armando to sell the house. In the midst of her harping the phone rings. Irma answers and quickly hangs-up when she realizes she is talking to a voice from her past. The phone rings again. The woman, Martina, warns Irma not to hang up or she'll come to the house. Irma agrees to meet Martina the next day.

Dani hears about the theft at Ripoll and thinks Lucas is the culprit.

Chava goes free from jail due to positive testimony from both Sofia and (surprisingly!) Silvana. Though he is now free, Chava remains under suspicion.

Aracely tells Lupe' that she came to take care of Paco, but wants to help Chava. Aracely realizes she made a big mistake in breaking up with Chava. Time and experience have matured her and she is hoping to win him back. Lupe' warns her against breaking Chava's heart again.

Greta thinks Paco is to blame for the blackmail attempt. She calls Paco (twice) but doesn't have the nerve to speak with him. She only manages a faint, "It was you."

Greta tells Fausto that she is the only person that will handle the Ripoll's mail from now on.

Chava goes to the factory to thank Sofia in person. Pato comes into Sofia's office when she and Chava are very close. Pato orders Chava to leave. Sofia tells Chava to go home.

Pato orders Sofia to fire Chava. Sofia refuses and fiercely defends Chava. She should fire Pato instead.

Armando returns to the Ripoll mansion. He tells Fausto and Alexa that the sale of his house fell through and he's going to be the Ripoll's chauffeur for a long time. Fausto and Alexa are delighted to have him back.

Dani overhears Chava tell Lucas that neither of their fingerprints were on the stolen cash. Dani realizes she was wrong about Lucas.

Martina confronts Irma outside the house. They take Nandito to school. On the way back Martina says her brother is terminally ill and wants to see Irma. Martina threatens that if Irma doesn't go see her dying brother, Martina will spill the beans.

Please feel free to add whatever I may have missed.

Greta calling Paco and hanging up on him when he kept asking who's calling him.

Can't wait until she sees him FACE TO FACE. I mean, he's been through CRAP over the years.

Lucas being ignored by Dani, who's showing her buji side (thanks Silvana).

Cynderella - Thanks for a place to discuss Hasta.

Steve, I was surprised Greta would think that it's Paco who is blackmailing her. I don't think Paco knows that Sofia is his child; seems he never counted the months. But Greta knows she told no one but Osvaldo, so in her mind who else could it be.

We got a peek at Irma's secret. There's a guy in prison who's dying and wants to see Irma before he passes away. When the guy's sister called Irma at home, Irma hid the call from Armando and met up with the sister later.

Chava was released from jail and he and Sofia shared a tender moment when he came to her office. If I'm remember correctly, they each did a happy skip toward the other, then stopped themselves from hugging each other, then were about to kiss. But of course Pato entered and blew his stack. Sofia asked Chava to leave her alone with Pato. Pato gave Sofia an ultimatum - him or Chava. Successfully snookering Greta must've gone to Pato's head.

How much longer until one of Silvie's trysts with Pato leaves her pregnant? I mean Nicandro hs done that ploy twice in two shows (STuD and AV)

Oh, oh. Is Martina's brother Nandito's real father?

I was surprised that Chava was allowed into the factory in the first place, and then even more surprised that Sofía tolerated Pato's verbal assault (he looked downright demon-possessed) over Chavo. She should have fired his sorry butt right then and there not to mention have called off the engagement... after all, doesn't he work for her?

She should wonder what their marriage'll be like if he treats her like this before. Yikes!

Carlos

Chava passionately kisses Sofia (dressed in a seductive nightgown), but it turns out to be dream sequence, of I think, Sofia

xlnt - Thanks for the recap. More action than I thought happened yesterday.

If Sofia backs down to Pato, I'll be disappointed.

I love the wardrobe of Chava's two women. Araceli's white dress was gorgeous and Sofia, in dress or slacks, always looks perfect.

Armando's women's fashions, not so much. Irma's clothes are a tad too tight, though the suit she wore to meet the guy's sister was her most professional look to date. Alexa is either dressing like Big Bird or a Disco Ball.

Thank you for filling in and providing so many details Xint.

Niecie, you aren't alone in wondering why on earth Paco would be blackmailing Greta. She started out so strong and wise and yet her wisdom, insight and intuition have crumbled before our eyes.

Pato was downright insolent and out and out verbally abusive to Sophia. She should never tolerate that behavior, especially from someone with whom she is supposed to spend the rest of her life.

Irma's got a secret. No spoiler but I agree with you anon, it could be Nandito's biological father. Of course, we all know Armando is his real father in every sense of the word.

Really lookig forward to tonight's show and your recap Cynderella.

Diana

Thanks Xlnt! The recap captured it all.

I also don't understand why Sofia is putting up with Pato's ugly attitude. And I for sure don't get why she's still engaged to him! What will it take?

Gobluefan, Thanks so much for the reminder about Sofia's dream! How could I forget that! (facepalm).

Niecie, I agree about Alexa's wardrobe. Although I did like the midriff shirt she was wearing. Sort of Egyptian-y in it's decorations.

I hope Sofia puts Pato in his place tonight. He works for her. Her family owns the factory. She needs to remind him that he is just an E-M-P-L-O-Y-E-E.

I'm thinking Martina's brother is Nandito's father too. If the guy is in jail, I also wonder what else is in Irma's past. Maybe some kind of accomplice in criminal activity?
