Mi corazon es tuyo #82 11/11/2014 Ana and Fernando have a rare heart to heart (or as close as they manage) talk, but they don't know Diego has seen and heard it all.

Ana and Fernando trying to convince the chief of police that the cop brought them over in a whim. Ana and Fernando have to argue that they have the right to make one call. Meanwhile Diego and Natalialll he would have wanted to be there to support her… she replies you can support me now.
Ana finally gets through to Diego and tells him she and Fernando are in jail. Diego impactado.
Lo Nuevo:
Johnny is watching TV about some contest of phone receipt/invoice with the highest number will win 1 Million pesos. Johnny gets excited… so is Sebastian when Johnny tells him about it.
Ana asks Diego to ask at the house about Bruno… who is at the hospital for having lost his memory.
Fernando keeps trying to convince the chief of police that he and Ana are not thugs. The cops keep stereotyping them as ‘los ricos’. Ana not appreciating being categorized along with Fernando.
Reeky tells Isa that things turned better than planned. Linda arrives at Reeky’s… she wants to continue celebrating. Reeky tells Linda that Isa is in the team as well. Fernando asked for divorce so she is in vengeance mode too. Surely you will put Reeky at the Prez spot. He will replace Fernando. However, Linda wants to keep a low profile. She is putting Reeky at the Prez spot, but so that he can watch for her interests. Glad to do business with you. Linda leaves. In comes Laura, and Linda gives her a snotty look. Reeky hides Isa. Laura comes in …
Fanny and Edith arrive at the house to the news about Bruno and that Fernando and Ana are missing in action. Luz impactada about Edith’s appearance (is she a vampire?... no, look a here, no fangs!)
Bruno calls Fanny to delegate to her to follow up with Bruno while he goes to the jail. He tells her Ana and Fer were arrested together. He will handle that.
Fanny gets a bit alarmed that Johnny has been delegated to watch the boys… they are playing water gun war in the boys room. They are mangling and watering down Johnny.
Nando arrives, a bit upset about XIme… FF>> Edith feels like playing a little scaring game with him. Nando not in the mood.
Diego leaves Natalia behind to deal with the jail issue. He only tells Natalia that the story about Fanny Sr is repeating itself with Ana. Natalia shocked that Diego left his brilliant and fun career behind for a woman like Ana, who has none of the same lifestyle as him. Natalia asks if Ana is willing to go with him and renounce to everything she has.. no, right? (Diego wants to go now…)
In jail cell Fernando is pacing around. Ana is upset, looking away. Chief of police is watching a video of them. He is amused that at first they could not shut up and now they are not saying a word.
At hospital, Jenny and Nico arrive. Nico is a bit ansy and even holds his chest… while Bruno is acting real weird… no stuttering… he feels great ‘tres tristes tigres tragaban trigo en un trigal!!’ (bis) but he can’t remember where he is or who they are… Manuela gets upset when they take Bruno away. Later Nico is having a hard time catching his breath… Doctor asks if he is ok, nico says its jus the anxiety over his friend Bruno.
Ana and Fernando keep arguing in the jail cell. She claims Fernando is the one that broke the law. The argument gets the attention of the chief of police. They argue louder. He comments what a weird couple. Ana cries as she continues arguing with Fernando. The chief of police realize they are the couple from the newspaper picture.
Fanny talks to Johnny… she would not have expected for him to be left alone with the boys, since she barely knows him… he says it was an emergency. Fanny takes over the boys care. Sends them to do homework and bathe… the little ones, including Luz, protest. They ask for Ana. She is with dad. Not sure when she will be back. Fanny and Johnny leave and Luz says something is up with Ana and dad…
Johnny surprised Fanny knows about Don Doroteo and the loan that ties Ana, etc.
Briana arrives. She is in a hurry to see Alicia, everyone at school saw the picture of her dad and Ana.
In the kitchen, Edith insists in scaring Nando. Suddenly he notices her smile and compliments her on it. He is making her a sandwich. They seem to make an ‘opposites attract’ connection of some sort.
At her house, Xime is really depressed going up the staircase of her house. She is saying Laura is a ho__. Why is she taking my bf away?!? Ximena is drinking heavily what seems like bourbon right from bottle.
Fanny joins Edith and nando in kitchen. Edith asks Nando how old.. 17. Then she makes fun of his bowtie. Then he mocks her appearance… ready for a heavy metal concert, right? Leon calls Fanny and lets her know Mau is better so they can meet soon. He heard at the office something about Fer resigning. Fanny is impactada.
At hospital Nico asks Doctor if Bruno will recover. Doctor says might take months or even years.
Back to jail… Ana is howling as a wolf… Fernando asks what is she doing… Fernando argues with her again. She asks him to stop, she is already upset. Chief of police is watching and taking notes. In comes Diego to the man’s office. They watch Ana and Fernando argument…
Ana accuses Fernando of the people he hangs around. He argues he just lost his job and the company he loves… besides being locked up in here with you. Ana argues she only wanted to help him. He says it kills him to be close to her… to see her every day… her eyes… her laugh… to stand right here in front of her is a torture… why?... because I love you… I love you, Ana. I love you. (Diego is hurt). I love you and want to tell you that every day. It kills him to see her with someone else. He doesn’t know what to do with this love he feels for her. Could not stand it anymore. Ana says I did not know how to rip the hurt you gave me … the wife you chose is still living at your house… and I am dating your brother… Don’t want to talk about now or the past or the future.. it is too late.
Diego introduces himself to the chief of police. Diego says he is there to get Ana out asap. The guy says it will have to wait for the sentence and whatever time in jail they have to complete. Diego is surprised that Fernando actually broke the law. Diego has to get his gf out… again avoids mentioning Fernando. Diego explains that the photo in the newspaper is shopped… The guy does not seem to believe it.
Fanny is now at the edge of her swimming pool yelling to Nando to not leave her, I am yours!! Don’t leave me!!
Fanny tells Nando about what Leon told her about Fernando resigning. Nando can’t believe it either. She tells him Fernando and Ana were arrested.
Fernando insists to Ana that they can’t erase the past or their feelings for each other. He asks Ana if she really doesn’t remember the good moments between them. Ana says all those nice moments were covered by the mistake he made of marrying another. Ana says my big mistake was to fall for you (talking to him as ‘tu’)… She did give him the reason back then… Fernando says one thing is to think with your head… he asks why she is hurting him (with her attitude). Ana says you don’t get it, do you? You tore me to pieces back then… get it?
At hearing this, Diego is even more ansi trying to convince the chief of police that he needs them out. The guy says hopefully early tomorrow. Diego says he will stay there until they go to sleep.
Laura and Reeky… same ol sh… kissy kissy… Isa looks on and is miffed signaling with her fingers. Laura thanks Reeky for paying her school, which gets Isa even more miffed. FF>>
Fanny goes to Alicia’s room, Alicia should not pay attention to what other kids say at school. Fanny assures her that Fernando and Ana have never had an affair. Believe in them.
Johnny with the boys and Luz are in the dark with flashlight telling scary stories… ‘when I was a kid…’ (the twins say ooooh that was a long time ago!!) some legend about a llorona (cry baby) chocasiguala (sp?) As he gets to the punchline, in comes Fanny and turns on the light, scaring them all, including Johnny… Brianna and Alicia in her room comment that those screams sounded like ‘la llorona’.
Seems Alicia wants to post a picture/profile in a dating site… they can alter the photo to make her look older… Bri will help her.
Fernando tells Ana he has told her many times… ‘you came to change our lives… not only my kids but also mine.’ ‘what is this talk about?’ ‘before I met you my life was a chaos… you freed me… I got to smile again… gave my life spontaneity… I want you to know that I came back to life the day I met you…’ ‘I already told you it has no remedy…’ ‘yes it does… I will fight for you… don’t say anything… (Diego is watching all of this) (Fernando touches her lips with his fingers) don’t say anything please… don’t deny what your eyes see… your lips… my body shakes as yours… (puts his hands on her chest) your heartbeats are as strong as mine… the love we feel, Ana… is inevitable… inevitable.’ (Diego puts a fist on the table). (Ana pulls away) ‘why are you doing this??’ ‘because I want to think there is hope for us to be happy!’ ‘how is it supposed to be that we will be happy?’ ‘if you love me as I love you, give me the chance to recover what we had to realize our love’. ‘and in this realization of love you are forgetting someone very important… Diego?’ ‘my brother… no, I have not forgot him.’ ‘really?’ ‘of course, he is my brother’. ‘then you considered we will repeat the story where you destroyed his heart… and we will destroy his life again..’ ‘I did not destroy anything!’ ‘Noo!?’
Edith again scares Nando again by sneaking in his room behind him as he reads about the black holes. She is surprised he likes astrophysics. She sees him so ‘straight’ that she can’t help but try to spook him. He replies he would feel like ripping one of her pierced nose earrings off but he might end up with her snot in his hands… she says if he tried he might die in the attempt. Rosita (Xime’s maid) calls him that Xime is in trouble again. Again Nando runs out.
Ana tells Fernando ‘I won’t hurt Diego like that.’ ‘so you are going to stay with him only to spare him that hurt/pain?’. ‘Believe it or not some of us people don’t like hurting others… and what we are doing now is not fair to him’. ‘it is not fair to him either that you stay with him if you don’t love him’. ‘what do you know of what I feel for Diego?’ ‘ah, then you do love him?? Tell me, do you love Diego??’
Previews: Ana resists some more… up to one point where the heart betrays… and a kiss tortures Diego where it hurts the most.

Thank you Marta-I!Wow, you did a great job of capturing the silliness and the drama.
The scene with the Bickersons in the jail cell went on forever...I really really liked the chief of police character. He was smart and funny in a quiet way. Poor Diego, we all knew this was coming but it was painful.
So they never told what the building was that Edith dragged Fanny to last night? The big mansion type building?
Also, I actually enjoyed the scene with Johnny taking over as nanny and telling the kids ghost stories.

Wow what a great episode! I even liked Johnny taking care of the kids. He was actually funny! I especially liked his telling them the Mexican ghost story of La Llorona --The Weeping Woman. This famous legend has many versions but they all end up with a crying ghost woman looking for her dead children near a body of water. Some say it is so old it is based on an Aztec legend and goddess Chihuacóatl. Here in Johnny's version the woman's name is Chocacíhuatl. In his version the woman dies in childbirth and is searching for her child. In other versions the woman (or someone else) has killed her children and she is searching for them along a river or at other bodies of water in Mexico City. Some versions say she lures men to their death or kidnaps other children.
I loved the new and improved Bruno who is now so fluent he could easily say the Tres Tristes Tigres tongue twister. Would it not be funny if the new Bruno was attracted to Manuela after the "sartenazo" she gave him?
Enrique with all three women at his place at one time was too funny especially with Isabella watching him kissing Laura.
Edith was wonderful like a little kid scaring Nando whenever she could. Ximena, on the other hand --independent of any telenovela medical diagnosis --is one insecure immature anxiety ridden girl who needs help. She is like a baby bird who was kicked out of the nest way too early and is slowly dying.
Of course the real highlight for me was the great show Fernando and Ana put on in their cell. Their conversation was priceless. I loved the chief of police hanging on every word and enjoying it all. Not the case for Diego who after viewing the exchange between Fernando and Ana clearly needs to go bye bye unless he likes to suffer.

Thanks very much for the excellent recap, Marta. I never would have caught Nando's nose-ring comment to Edith. Also, enjoy the family cruise!
Regarding the scenes with Johnny and the kids, they made me uncomfortable. When my kids were young, Johnny would have been the creepy, sleazy guy I would have kept far from them. In fact, I would have warned my kids to stay far, far away from that guy.

Regarding the scenes with Johnny and the kids, they made me uncomfortable. When my kids were young, Johnny would have been the creepy, sleazy guy I would have kept far from them. In fact, I would have warned my kids to stay far, far away from that guy.

I watched in dribs and drabs last night, so very grateful Marta for your stellar recap.
More and more I think the overall theme of this TN, besides the endless PSA's, is parlaying the old idiom of "opposites attract". If you get right down to it, all that (endless) time in the cell did was convince me that Fer and Ana really don't have much in common except a mutual attraction and the kids. Neither really has ever cared to talk about their past, what makes them tick, what they enjoy doing, nothing. It's almost as if you are watching two high school kids going through a first attraction. I'm starting to see it as a rather superficial love right now...can these two delve into each other a little deeper please to make them seem more end game?
In the meantime, I had to keep switching off Diego's looks. This is going to be ugly and so not fair to him. And the fact he spilled to Nat how he feels, if she's a smart woman she won't be second fiddle just because he's hurt again. Sucks to be Diego big time and he doesn't deserve this.
Calling it: Nico is about to be horizontal in the hospital soon. Harbinger of a heart attack?

Seeing Diego red faced and crying his eyes out in the previews for tonight's episode made my heart break for him. Too much pain. And it makes me mad at Fer for caring so little about his brother's feelings. Diego was the one hurt all those years ago and yet he has tried to make amends but Fer acts like the wounded party. If Fer believes Ana loves him then he should wait for Ana and Diego's relationship to come to its natural end and then go for her.
With all our worries for Diego at this point it would be utterly cruel for Fernando to lose both brother and father. Not to mention what that would do to the kids.

I like Briana but Nando has grown up so much since the accident and Xime that he has now outgrown her.
I think Edith dresses and wears makeup the way she does because of the abuse she suffered. Her appearance keeps people away. I've heard of abuse sufferers gaining weight to seem unattractive to keep male attention away.

Isabella has to be a total idiot to not realize that Reeky will not be happy just to see Fernando out of the company. Reeky wants Fernando destroyed emotionally and financially so either Fanny or Ana will still be in his strategy somewhere along with zeroing out Fernando's balance sheets, which is 180 degrees contrary to what Isa wants... she is counting on that generous divorce settlement terms... which will evaporate into thin air if he suddenly gets ruined. So not sure why Isa is encouraging reeky to destroy Fernando at this point.
Marta, oh I think Isabela may have a clue or getting one but it may be too late to stop the crash. I agree she is an idiot but so are those other women he has orbiting.
What has he done for Isabela? Nothing. All he has done for Linda is provide a doctored photo and anyone with photo shop can do that. For Betty? Nothing. Laura so far has gotten the best deal, he paid for her tuition and all she has to do is pretend to adore him.

Enrique is probably paying by the semester, and Laura must be a freshman or sophomore. It's sad that she never thought once about getting a job and a student loan.

Besides the shot of her with the camera, you can see her just before the final scene of Fernando and Ana kissing. She's standing on the stairs just below Diego, and he might have his hand on her shoulder.
Did Natalia tell Diego that she dropped out of his life because she was injured in a bomb attack in some foreign country? Maybe Ana was his rebound girl.

I remember Laura's first negotiations with Reeky he said something to the effect that her tuition would be paid if she gave him information or something like that.
Nanette, Linda could make a case to the board, with a bit of truth stretching that Eeky was fired unjustifiably because he was aware of Fer's behavior and deserves not only his position back, but would be the best man for the Pres' job. And I hope with every fiber of my being that Eeky is HORRIBLE at the job, alienates the employees and the company starts to fail showing him he wouldn't have been able to run his father's company either. I'm not sure he wants to run the company in the ground, but he does want to destroy Fer's reputation, etc.

I think that was her point. When he had the choice, he choose Isa. As we all said, he could have done well by the baby if he was THAT head over for Ana. I get where she's coming from. Is he all remorseful now just because Isa turned out to be a witch?
But I also hate Ana stringing Diego along just as badly when she doesn't seem to have more than a fondness for him. By the previews tonight, he sees that himself. Someone will need a hug.

Daisy: I still don't think the board would give the presidency of a major, international company to a guy who's only been there a few months, even if Linda explains the firing/resigning thing. Beany time. It's beany time anyway. There should be way more people on the board of a big company like that.
I don't think Ana is deliberately stringing Diego along. She's trying really hard to love him. He knows she's not 100% committed--She's never told him she loves him. Re: the kids situation. She might be willing to give up having kids, but she won't want to live far from the Lascuain children or be away from there for long periods of time. She's really not the right person for Diego, even if she wasn't in love with Fer.

I only saw the last ten minutes because my DVR apparently suddenly felt like dropping this show from its recording schedule, but it sounds like I missed a lot of shrieking. I did happen to catch way too much Johnny. UGH. WHY. I would NOT leave him alone with the children. The chofer, the gardener, the silent maids, anyone else would be better except maybe Isa or Enfrique. Or get Nando to stay with them instead of running off to Ximena when she really needs her parents and a good medical team, not the doormat boyfriend she'll only blame and try to make responsible for her troubles.
Really wondering if we're going to meet Edith's family and if any of them will be people we already know. Creepy stepbrother...Reeky seems too much older. Not that it isn't still possible. But his dad seemed way old for her mom to have been married to him only recently, and the old man didn't seem to have anyone other than Frique.
We've also not found out any more about Leon's father. Another mystery person who could eventually appear!

I did happen to catch way too much Johnny. UGH. WHY. I would NOT leave him alone with the children. The chofer, the gardener, the silent maids, anyone else would be better except maybe Isa or Enfrique. Or get Nando to stay with them instead of running off to Ximena when she really needs her parents and a good medical team, not the doormat boyfriend she'll only blame and try to make responsible for her troubles.
Really wondering if we're going to meet Edith's family and if any of them will be people we already know. Creepy stepbrother...Reeky seems too much older. Not that it isn't still possible. But his dad seemed way old for her mom to have been married to him only recently, and the old man didn't seem to have anyone other than Frique.
We've also not found out any more about Leon's father. Another mystery person who could eventually appear!

“Do you think she killed her husband?”
“It wouldn't surprise me. She's the kind who has to have everything her way or the highway, as they say north of this place.”
“I can see that. I can see her killing both her husband and Fernando's first wife to get them out of her way. She likes money too much.”
“Maybe she'll do the others a big favor and kill Enrique somewhere down the road.”
“I like that. Then she can taste mortal justice before we deal with her.”

And one last thing.....Fernando may be morphing into a great Dad but he is a sh_thead. What he is doing to Diego....AGAIN and what he already did to pole ho Ana. I'm done with him. Dome with schizo Ximena too... Why on God's green earth did Nando revive her?
