Jane- You might have missed Mads' update from late last week. It should still be on the main page I think.

The stranger next to me said. I did not understand. He must have noticed my expression cause within a few seconds he spoke again.
“This is life.
Each breath we take is a miracle. The beauty that surrounds us is a wonder. Even so, life is not without tribulation. Without expecting it, without knowing it, it happens in an instant. It attempts to disrupt us, to break us, to isolate us. Yet we have the inner strength to be well, even in the face of the worst adversity. Our spirit can be unbreakable, our love limitless, our tenacity relentless, our passion absolute.
But this inner strength does not come without effort. It must be nurtured. It must be acknowledged by our faith, by our belief that everything that happens is a blessing. Then we will be strong and like a well rooted tree, we will be able to endure the strongest of storms.
As the triangle needs each side to exist, so do we. We can fight and we can rage against the adversities that try to overcome us, we can celebrate the love around us and we can stand strong against the oncoming storm, but we can only succeed if we are true. Each mountain we climb, each objective we set, each hurdle that we overcome must come from our heart. We must genuinely wish it, desire it with great passion. This truth builds the triangle’s third side. It gives it form, it gives it strength, it gives it wellbeing.
This is life, no matter how beautiful or how challenging; at each instant from the time we are born till the time comes when we venture forth into the next unknown. This is us.”
The stranger went silent. My gaze shifted to the park in front of me, watching as the water in the fountain sparkled and people walked by. I had so many questions about what the stranger had said. I turned towards him to ask, but he was gone. It was evident that I was meant to find these answer for myself, but for sure, his word would echo in memory forever.
Mads, I look forward towards your full recovery and wish that your days are filled with faith, hope and above all love.
I'm sending you all my good thoughts, good prayers, good vibes, and good wishes on your road to recovery and for a Thanksgiving full of fun, family, and friends.
Sending hopeful thoughts your way! Miss your wonderful comments and recaps.
Come back to us soon!
