La Malquerida, capitulo 76. 12/09/14.
The
doctor breaks the news to Cris and Esteban that there is little
chance she will become pregnant again. He recommends therapy to deal
with her loss. Cris cries out in anguish and Esteban assures her
they will find the best doctors to help her get pregnant again.
Acacia tries to pay Ulises a visit. Instead Carmen answers the door and tells her to leave. Don't you understand that my son doesn't want to see you again? I will never forgive you for what you did to him. Ulises comes to the door and asks Carmen to leave so that he can talk to Acacia. Ulises asks her what she came for and Acacia hands him his necklace back. She understands that they will never be together again.
Norberto asks Manuel if he is still worried about Cris. There's nothing you can do so make sure you pay close attention to Acacia. Manuel wonders who's worse. His mother or his father? Norberto tells him to quit saying stupid things. I only told you what I thought about that baby. I may not be the best father or the best man but I did not abandon you like your mother. Manuel informs Norberto that German only paid for 3 night stay for their mother at the hotel. Well, since she is out of money perhaps she will stop being selfish and come back home. Then it will be me who will set some ground rules.

Danilo comes into the bedroom as Ale is combing her hair. He asks if she liked the mariachi band serenading her last night. She nods her head. He takes the brush from her and starts to brush her hair. Understand I want you well. If you do your part, we can be happy. He asks her to close her eyes and puts in her hand a jewelry box. It's a bracelet. She thanks him but doesn't want him to buy her expensive things. She just wants him to treat her right and let her go out with her friends.
Cris returns to the house with her family. All she wants to do is sleep. JC asks what the doctor told her but Esteban says they will discuss it later. He takes Cris to their room. Luisa takes the opportunity as everyone leaves to ask Acacia what happened with Ulises. I was an idiot replies Acacia. Instead of listening to what my heart was telling me, I believed everything everyone else was saying about him. I have lost him forever.
Danilo says you always try to fool me and I pretend that you do. You once asked me to let you out and you tried to escape with your brother. Ale reminds him that was long ago. She can take Julianita with her. After all, I did tell Acacia she was your niece. Or you can go with me. Although you will be bored like you were at the hospital. Bored? Esteban takes Cris into their bedroom followed by Rosa. She sees all the baby stuff in her room and loses it. She throws everything around and he tries to calm her. She shouts for Rosa to take everything from the room.
Luisa wonders why Acacia went to return the necklace to Ulises. I wanted to close this chapter replies Acacia. Luisa doesn’t believe her and asks if it was because she wanted to see him. Acacia runs to her mother and tells Esteban to calm down. She tells Cris to come to her room instead. Esteban demands they remove any baby stuff from the room and should be thankful that he doesn't fire Rosa and Luisa.
Juliana is grateful that German came to see her. She asks about Cris. German says the grandparents told him that she was very depressed. Juliana says she will go see her shortly. German advises her to wait until Cris wants to talk to her. Juliana tells the boys that she needs their help in getting on with her life. Manuel tells German that he told her to go back to their father. German doesn't think it's a good idea. He also thinks since she has no money that she will need to find a job. Juliana protests that she doesn't know how to work. She has never done it. German suggests she find a cooking job or sell things that she makes. Find a simple job. How can you think I would do that she asks. Do I look like Luisa? Cooking for strangers? German says it's a good and honest job. Don’t you realize that getting divorced means you will have to look out for yourself? Juliana just can't. I am asking for help and this is what you say to me?
Acacia takes her mother into her room. Cris wants to be left alone to sleep. Esteban comes in and asks if Acacia realizes what Rosa and Luisa did leaving all that baby stuff lying around the room? Acacia defends the woman and says they all forgot about it. But they clean that room daily replies Esteban. Cris begs him to stop so that she can sleep. Acacia says she will stay and take care of her mother. Esteban leaves the room.
Juliana just wants the boys to pay for another few nights at the hotel. I do not plan on working because Norberto has to give me a huge alimony. German tells her to forget about that and work. She spots Andres walking up and her voice becomes sugary sweet. She thanks them for helping her. German says he has to go with Andres. They have something important to do. Manuel says he's off to see Acacia. Juliana says if they are going to do something together, she can join them. German tells her no. they are off to see Carmen.
Hector, Ulises and Itzel are leaving the courthouse. Hector is glad that she gave her statement to the police. She hopes that the bad guys are not going to harm her or her family. Hector assures her that there are people watching the community and if anything isn't legit, they are in contact with him. He wants her to try and get everyone in the community to file a report. Ulises thanks her for everything she did and wants to know if she will walk with him to see if she can spot the location they were taken too. I can't remember anything but perhaps you can.
Esteban tells the grandparents what happened. He thinks Cris is not doing to good. She definitely needs therapy. JC agrees but thinks so does Esteban. There is nothing wrong with asking for help. I am sad but not as bad as her replies Esteban. Anyway, I wont feel comfortable talking about this with a stranger. Elenita understands that what Luisa and Rosa did was bad but it's really everyone's fault. No one thought about removing the baby things from the room. Rosa and Luisa come in. Rosa crying, asks for forgiveness. The only way to fix things is to leave the hacienda. Esteban tells them to do whatever they want and leaves. Elenita says they can't leave. Understand that he is upset, but they would never want you to leave. On the other hand, you know how much Cris loves you. You can't leave her especially in her time of need. JC tells them to just get everything out of the room. Elenita predicts many sad days to come. Thankfully we are here replies JC. They go off to see Cris.
Acacia comes out of her room and runs into Esteban. Mom feel asleep. I am worried about her and you too. How are you? He tells her to worry about her mother and he will do the same.
Carmen apologizes for her bad treatment of German. He understands how she felt with everything that happened. She hugs him. You are Andres son and I want us to get along like we did before all this happened. German agrees. Now that everything is okay with Andres, he is glad she has returned with his father.
Itzel feels bad for not recognizing the house they were held in. Ulises is just grateful that she tried. Itzel says she's off. Ulises thanks her for her testimony and as soon as things get settled, he plans to visit her grandmother. They hug. She leaves and Hector comes in. they talk business. Hector wants to buy all the stock that the one buyer who pulled out has. He wants the business to go well not only for him but for Ulises too. Ulises just wants to prove to everyone that he is an honest man.
Acacia brings Esteban coffee. Since her mother is in bed, she figures she will bring it to him. Esteban tells her that's enough! If you wanted to put distance between us, then distance it will be. I don't want you close to me.
Rosa brings Cris dinner but she doesn't want it. Rosa wants to ask forgiveness for not taking the baby things out of the room. Cris doesn't want to talk about it. Rosa says God will bring her comfort in her time of need. Cris says she doesn't want comfort but to die.
Acacia just wanted to avoid situations that are not appropriate with them. Esteban doesn't care. He just cares about what is going on with Cris. You don't have to do nice things for me. It's best if we limit our contact. Let's pretend in front of others.
Rosa asks Cris how could she say that? Acacia doesn't need me anymore and I have failed Esteban replies Cris. If our marriage had problems before, this will now end it. Rosa believes the pain of losing their child will unite them more. Cris doesn't agree. Love is what should unite us not the pain. Rosa reminds her that he returned to her for love. You have always been there for me when I needed it. Manuel points out that they have always gotten along since they were kids. He brought his godmother some flowers to help brighten her day. But now realizes he has to divide the bouquet in 2. he gives her a rose and asks to see her. When Acacia informs him that she doesn’t' want to see anymore, he offers to take her out to dinner.
Cris believes the doctor told her that she can try again in a year so that she wouldn't become depressed. Rosa asks her to have faith in God. You are young and strong. Cris doesn't think Esteban would wait so long just to find out that she can't. Having a partner is accepting the good and the bad together. It's easy to say but not to do says Cris. He and I just got back together again. Rosa offers Cris comfort.
Luisa is outside when Rubio spots her and about to go to her when Arturo shows up. He's glad she called him. They kiss. Rubio looks on. Luisa says she couldn't sleep last night thinking about the kiss they exchanged yesterday. I couldn't either admits Arturo. Rubio comes out of his hiding place holding a machete yelling at Arturo. What are you doing here? Luisa tells Rubio not to start. Cris already gave her permission. Are you going out with him asks Rubio. That is my business shouts Luisa. Arturo tells him to mind his own business. Rubio says it is his business because he loves her.
Rosa runs into Esteban in the hall and he asks how Cris is doing. Rosa says she's really sad and needs him more than ever. He apologizes for yelling at her. He was angry and asks her to forgive him. You know I love you like a mother. Rosa says the most important thing right now is Cris.
Rubio admits to Arturo that he has always loved Luisa and will always watch out for her. Luisa just asks him to leave her alone. Rubio will not allow any man to abuse her. He warns Arturo to watch himself. Luisa tells Rubio to put away the machete and stop throwing threats around. He grabs her and reminds her that the more you look up, the harder the fall. He leaves and Arturo asks her what is up with Rubio? Was he serious with everything that he said? He's just mad that I never paid him any mind replies Luisa. Arturo tells her how beautiful she is. Luisa says she asked him to come because she wants to take things slow. I don't want you to be the rebound guy. Arturo understands but that doesn't mean they can't keep going out. Only as friends replies Luisa. Arturo agrees to take it as slowly as she wants.
Esteban pays Cris a visit. He asks how she's doing. Cris says she can't stop thinking about the baby. He will always be with her. With both of us adds Esteban. We have to move ahead. We can have another child in the future. Cris tells him to leave her. She just wants to sleep. Esteban says he will sleep with her. She wants him to go sleep in their bedroom but he won't hear of it. He gets his side of the bed ready and finds Acacia nightgown tucked under the pillow. He grabs it and remembers her in it.
Manuel confesses to Acacia that at first he didn't like Hector. He didn't like the fact he was siding with Ulises when all the fraud stuff went down. Now that I see how he treats you, I believe he is a good person. Acacia thinks that he reminds her a little of her father. She sees Hector more as a father figure whereas with Esteban....different. Manuel thinks he's more than her step-father. He's more like her friend. Before he married my mother I saw him more like my friend but now, not even that. Why asks Manuel. What happened? He doesn't want me to come around him. Manuel thinks he just needs time. He's probably feeling bad because his wife is depressed. Don't you agree? But once my godmother is better, I’m sure Esteban will be also. Acacia hopes things will go back to what it use to be.
Esteban and Cris are sleeping in Acacia's bed. She walks in and sees them. He stirs and she is startled. She walks out. He wakes up looking around.
Acacia crying runs into Elenita. She tells Elenita that Esteban stayed in her room with her mother. Where are you going to sleep then? In their bedroom she asks. In one of the other guestrooms replies Acacia.
Next day, Esteban escorts Cris into their bedroom. He checks to make sure all the baby stuff is out. He offers to bring her breakfast but she doesn't want it. Why doesn't everyone not understand that I want to do is sleep. He reminds her he's also in pain. But this is not the end of the world. Cris doesn't want to talk about it. He says he'll bring her breakfast anyway and leaves.
Ale and Danilo come to pay a visit and wonder how Cris is doing. Acacia says still depressed but the doctor suggests therapy will help her. Esteban comes in and Danilo says he knows some therapists that can help. Esteban appreciates the thought but they don’t' need it. He came to bring Cris breakfasts but wants to talk with him and invites him for some coffee. They men leave and Acacia gives Ale the phone charger. She reminds Acacia not to tell Danilo since she has lost so many.
We get scenes with Ulises going on with his work. Luisa and Arturo growing closer together. Esteban trying to help Cris. Acacia and Esteban still distant. Memo and Perla hanging out. Manuel offering Acacia comfort. Juliana and Norberto fighting. Ale taking pictures. Juliana trying to seduce Hector. Esteban yelling at Cris to get a reaction out of her. Cris crying.
Acacia tells Ale how sad she is. Her mother doesn't want to leave her room. Ale will try and have Danilo take her to see Cris. She doesn't want to see anymore replies Acacia. She won't even go to therapy. Ale says they need to do something. It's been 3 weeks already. Acacia said the doctor told them it was very difficult to go through this and we are all worried. Ale feels for her and asks if she has heard from Ulises. Nothing replies Acacia. As time goes on, I realize I will never see him again. And how are things with Esteban asks Ale. He won't talk to me says Acacia. I can't hardly take it anymore. I want to comfort him. What hurts you more asks Ale. What is going on with Ulises or Esteban?
Juliana comes to pay Cris a visit. She asks Rosa how Cris is doing. The same replies Rosa. Juliana wants to give Cris a hug. Rosa says Cris doesn’t' want visitors and Juliana goes off to see German.
Acacia can't believe Ale would ask her that. Both situations are different. Ulises was my boyfriend and I want to get back with him. With Esteban it's hurts because there are a lot of things I miss. Elenita understands that what Luisa and Rosa did was bad but it's really everyone's fault. No one thought about removing the baby things from the room. Rosa and Luisa come in. Rosa crying, asks for forgiveness. The only way to fix things is to leave the hacienda. Esteban tells them to do whatever they want and leaves. Elenita says they can't leave. Understand that he is upset, but they would never want you to leave. On the other hand, you know how much Cris loves you. You can't leave her especially in her time of need. JC tells them to just get everything out of the room. Elenita predicts many sad days to come. Thankfully we are here replies JC. They go off to see Cris.
Acacia comes out of her room and runs into Esteban. Mom feel asleep. I am worried about her and you too. How are you? He tells her to worry about her mother and he will do the same.
Carmen apologizes for her bad treatment of German. He understands how she felt with everything that happened. She hugs him. You are Andres son and I want us to get along like we did before all this happened. German agrees. Now that everything is okay with Andres, he is glad she has returned with his father.
Itzel feels bad for not recognizing the house they were held in. Ulises is just grateful that she tried. Itzel says she's off. Ulises thanks her for her testimony and as soon as things get settled, he plans to visit her grandmother. They hug. She leaves and Hector comes in. they talk business. Hector wants to buy all the stock that the one buyer who pulled out has. He wants the business to go well not only for him but for Ulises too. Ulises just wants to prove to everyone that he is an honest man.
Acacia brings Esteban coffee. Since her mother is in bed, she figures she will bring it to him. Esteban tells her that's enough! If you wanted to put distance between us, then distance it will be. I don't want you close to me.
Rosa brings Cris dinner but she doesn't want it. Rosa wants to ask forgiveness for not taking the baby things out of the room. Cris doesn't want to talk about it. Rosa says God will bring her comfort in her time of need. Cris says she doesn't want comfort but to die.
Acacia just wanted to avoid situations that are not appropriate with them. Esteban doesn't care. He just cares about what is going on with Cris. You don't have to do nice things for me. It's best if we limit our contact. Let's pretend in front of others.
Rosa asks Cris how could she say that? Acacia doesn't need me anymore and I have failed Esteban replies Cris. If our marriage had problems before, this will now end it. Rosa believes the pain of losing their child will unite them more. Cris doesn't agree. Love is what should unite us not the pain. Rosa reminds her that he returned to her for love. He didn't even know about the baby. He loves you. Cris says Esteban is a man that needs children. I never thought he cared. But you saw how he was when he found out he was going to be a father. Rosa thinks she can have another. That's the problem replies Cris. I can't.
Manuel comes to visit Acacia and sees her crying. She says she has never before felt so alone. Manuel reminds her she is not alone. He will always be there for her. It's true says Acacia. You have always been there for me when I needed it. Manuel points out that they have always gotten along since they were kids. He brought his godmother some flowers to help brighten her day. But now realizes he has to divide the bouquet in 2. he gives her a rose and asks to see her. When Acacia informs him that she doesn’t' want to see anymore, he offers to take her out to dinner.
Cris believes the doctor told her that she can try again in a year so that she wouldn't become depressed. Rosa asks her to have faith in God. You are young and strong. Cris doesn't think Esteban would wait so long just to find out that she can't. Having a partner is accepting the good and the bad together. It's easy to say but not to do says Cris. He and I just got back together again. Rosa offers Cris comfort.
Luisa is outside when Rubio spots her and about to go to her when Arturo shows up. He's glad she called him. They kiss. Rubio looks on. Luisa says she couldn't sleep last night thinking about the kiss they exchanged yesterday. I couldn't either admits Arturo. Rubio comes out of his hiding place holding a machete yelling at Arturo. What are you doing here? Luisa tells Rubio not to start. Cris already gave her permission. Are you going out with him asks Rubio. That is my business shouts Luisa. Arturo tells him to mind his own business. Rubio says it is his business because he loves her.
Rosa runs into Esteban in the hall and he asks how Cris is doing. Rosa says she's really sad and needs him more than ever. He apologizes for yelling at her. He was angry and asks her to forgive him. You know I love you like a mother. Rosa says the most important thing right now is Cris.
Rubio admits to Arturo that he has always loved Luisa and will always watch out for her. Luisa just asks him to leave her alone. Rubio will not allow any man to abuse her. He warns Arturo to watch himself. Luisa tells Rubio to put away the machete and stop throwing threats around. He grabs her and reminds her that the more you look up, the harder the fall. He leaves and Arturo asks her what is up with Rubio? Was he serious with everything that he said? He's just mad that I never paid him any mind replies Luisa. Arturo tells her how beautiful she is. Luisa says she asked him to come because she wants to take things slow. I don't want you to be the rebound guy. Arturo understands but that doesn't mean they can't keep going out. Only as friends replies Luisa. Arturo agrees to take it as slowly as she wants.
Esteban pays Cris a visit. He asks how she's doing. Cris says she can't stop thinking about the baby. He will always be with her. With both of us adds Esteban. We have to move ahead. We can have another child in the future. Cris tells him to leave her. She just wants to sleep. Esteban says he will sleep with her. She wants him to go sleep in their bedroom but he won't hear of it. He gets his side of the bed ready and finds Acacia nightgown tucked under the pillow. He grabs it and remembers her in it.
Manuel confesses to Acacia that at first he didn't like Hector. He didn't like the fact he was siding with Ulises when all the fraud stuff went down. Now that I see how he treats you, I believe he is a good person. Acacia thinks that he reminds her a little of her father. She sees Hector more as a father figure whereas with Esteban....different. Manuel thinks he's more than her step-father. He's more like her friend. Before he married my mother I saw him more like my friend but now, not even that. Why asks Manuel. What happened? He doesn't want me to come around him. Manuel thinks he just needs time. He's probably feeling bad because his wife is depressed. Don't you agree? But once my godmother is better, I’m sure Esteban will be also. Acacia hopes things will go back to what it use to be.
Esteban and Cris are sleeping in Acacia's bed. She walks in and sees them. He stirs and she is startled. She walks out. He wakes up looking around.
Acacia crying runs into Elenita. She tells Elenita that Esteban stayed in her room with her mother. Where are you going to sleep then? In their bedroom she asks. In one of the other guestrooms replies Acacia.
Next day, Esteban escorts Cris into their bedroom. He checks to make sure all the baby stuff is out. He offers to bring her breakfast but she doesn't want it. Why doesn't everyone not understand that I want to do is sleep. He reminds her he's also in pain. But this is not the end of the world. Cris doesn't want to talk about it. He says he'll bring her breakfast anyway and leaves.
Ale and Danilo come to pay a visit and wonder how Cris is doing. Acacia says still depressed but the doctor suggests therapy will help her. Esteban comes in and Danilo says he knows some therapists that can help. Esteban appreciates the thought but they don’t' need it. He came to bring Cris breakfasts but wants to talk with him and invites him for some coffee. They men leave and Acacia gives Ale the phone charger. She reminds Acacia not to tell Danilo since she has lost so many.
We get scenes with Ulises going on with his work. Luisa and Arturo growing closer together. Esteban trying to help Cris. Acacia and Esteban still distant. Memo and Perla hanging out. Manuel offering Acacia comfort. Juliana and Norberto fighting. Ale taking pictures. Juliana trying to seduce Hector. Esteban yelling at Cris to get a reaction out of her. Cris crying.
Acacia tells Ale how sad she is. Her mother doesn't want to leave her room. Ale will try and have Danilo take her to see Cris. She doesn't want to see anymore replies Acacia. She won't even go to therapy. Ale says they need to do something. It's been 3 weeks already. Acacia said the doctor told them it was very difficult to go through this and we are all worried. Ale feels for her and asks if she has heard from Ulises. Nothing replies Acacia. As time goes on, I realize I will never see him again. And how are things with Esteban asks Ale. He won't talk to me says Acacia. I can't hardly take it anymore. I want to comfort him. What hurts you more asks Ale. What is going on with Ulises or Esteban?
Juliana comes to pay Cris a visit. She asks Rosa how Cris is doing. The same replies Rosa. Juliana wants to give Cris a hug. Rosa says Cris doesn’t' want visitors and Juliana goes off to see German.
Acacia can't believe Ale would ask her that. Both situations are different. Ulises was my boyfriend and I want to get back with him. With Esteban it's hurts because there are a lot of things I miss. I understand that he is my mother's husband. Ale thinks Esteban can't handle what he feels for her, so he cut ties with her. He probably won't be able to handle the temptation much longer.
Manana: Cris tells Esteban to leave; Acacia tries to get her mother to react and stop Esteban from leaving; Acacia and Esteban kiss.

Just perfect, Gloria! Such amazing details. I love that!
Can't they bring the psychologist to the house anyway, if only to do an evaluation of Cris. Maybe she would react a little if the person is there. It's tough to get a depressed person to accept help. Poor Cris.
Este, on the other hand, doesn't want to see a psychologist because he doesn't want anyone learning about the darkness in his soul.
Alas, Itzel has left. But it's good that Uli concentrate on his work and on finding the bad guys, while he gives his heart a chance to heal.

Gloria, I continue to marvel at your detailed, riveting summaries. I so enjoy how you pose the questions our characters are thinking and feeling, all to perfection such as Uli's lament "Why didn't you believe me when I needed you most?" Indeed.

Diana- I saw the look on Hector's face and what it looked like was that he caught himself enjoying Juli's cheek kiss, and closed his eyes to get a hold of himself and shake some sense into himself. We're going to have to wait to see what's going on there and how she's manage to stay in town, and I suppose in the hotel, for three weeks.
I'm still not convinced that it's really love that Acacia feels for Este. I'll have to see where things go once they give into their desires, and if there's anything deeper there.

I love the character, Esteban, and is very complex. His apology to Rosa and declaration he loves her as a mother he never had, done with a sincere but stiff upper lip. His duplicity evident to me but his internal struggle as well.

I thought it was funny that Ack has an 8 x10 photo of HERSELF on her bedside table..ha. Watching Este fondle that nighty as he was preparing to get into her bed next to Chris was upsetting. I am sure that he was sniffing Ack's scent as he put his head on her pillow. YOW make them stop. Poor Chris deserves some happiness . Can't wait to find out what exactly has been happening between Juli and Hector, and who's paying for her hotel.
I just want Cris to get the help she needs to get past the depression, and I want Este out of her life. He can go somewhere else to deal with his issues, and Acacia can follow him if she wants.

Vivi..Yes, Chris has enough to deal with now. I wonder if her anger toward Este and Ack in the next episode will drive at least Este away again. Then, will Hector try to get her to seek help for her depression ?
People grieve in different ways , and men and women deal differently with the loss of a child. I have read that men tend to mourn and then move on . Women tend to weave the loss of a child into their lives and carry that child with them throughout their lives. I know that was true in my case. Even strong marriages are challenged by the loss of a child, and Chris and Este's marriage was already rocky.

DIana..I noticed that Hector gave Damnilo a big stink eye when he met him for the first time in the hospital. Hmm...why?...Did he recognize him from a past run in with the law ?... was it the three piece suit or perhaps his possessiveness toward such a beautiful young woman ? I am hoping that Hector, German, and Uli will get together soon to share the information that have and start putting the pieces of the puzzle together.

Susanlynn, I think Hector has an air of authority and intelligence which was not lost on Danilo. At their initial meeting, Hector was polite but not friendly. Now I'm not sure, but did Danilo know at that point that Hector got Uli released or was that later?
Hector, Uli and German really are the Dream Team (along with Andres and Arturo). Everything about Danilo's character and demeanor screams something/everything is amiss. I keep thinking he will make a huge misstep, putting all eyes on him.
I also loathed young Juli's watching Ale when she was talking with Acacia. Imagine never having a moment's peace and being watched every second. Of course, these pale in view of what Ale must endure with Danilo.

Right Diana---Julianita was watching Alejandra and Acacia last night. In return, Ale kept looking up to see if Julianita was still there. I'm surprised that Acacia didn't catch on and ask Ale why she keeps looking up.

Before I get to the heavy stuff of the episode first I wanna say that it made me smile to finally see Germán call Andres "dad". Diana, you're right. Most of the males in this TN are just fab (except the 3 musketeers: Dan, Este, and Norbie).

Before I get to the heavy stuff of the episode first I wanna say that it made me smile to finally see Germán call Andres "dad". Diana, you're right. Most of the males in this TN are just fab (except the 3 musketeers: Dan, Este, and Norbie).

Acacia did give Ale a brief strange look when she gave her the phone charger and Ale zipped it into the depths of an inside pocket of her purse, like she was hiding it, while simultaneously reminding Acacia not to tell Dan about the charger. I know I'd be seeing read flags if I were Ale's friend. But, this is Acacia we're talking about. Totally unable to ready people. While Ale can read her and others like an open book.

I wonder if Hector would help Juliana with her divorce case? Not that I really want Juli to get her hands on a big pile of money, but as Norb's wife for more than 2 decades, I think by right she deserves a healthy alimony-- at least as much as he can afford. (The way he is managing the ranch without German, there might not be much money left.)
I thought that this was such a meaningful conversation between Uli, Itzel and Arturo:

VIvi...I think that Ack is completely wrapped up in herself and not very self aware, so she cannot deferentiate between her feelings for Uli (perhaps real love) and her feelings for her stepdad (lust). Another reason that I Think Ack will be withUli at the end is that he is her first...and at this point anyway..her only lover.

Vivi...Sometimes people feel that they should not mention the lost child's name, but I love to hear my son's name spoken, and my good friends still say his name and talk about him from time to time, It keeps him alive for me for people I love to say his name now and then, I have no photos of him since he lived only one day . His footprint was lost, I do remember that someone had completely cleared out the nursery before I got home. It would have been excruciating to see his crib and gifts from the showers. I cannot believe that Este or Ack or JC or Elenita did not instruct Rosa to put the baby things out of sight. Rosa is a servant so it was not her place to make that decision.

Vivi, been thinking about this over the last few days as you bring it up and I have to remember Acacia is 18 and trying to recall my mind set at 18.
Ulis is her first deep attachment to a guy close to her age that she slept with and thought it love. It inflated her own ego and she was trying to replicate what she fantasized, but could not have with her stepfather. She wanted a guy that adored her and she would love like the relationship her mother and Esteban did have, not realizing it's difficulty. Her fantasy man and the man she physically desires, Esteban, was off limits. I don't think she loves Esteban either but she has created an ideal that is impossible of him, Ulis or any other man.

Vivi, I think Acacia is confused and loves Uli and Este, in her own way, but in very different ways and in varying degrees.
She is not experienced enough to separate pure passion from love. She is also too immature and indecisive as evidenced by her ping pong reaction back and forth to Uli.
She may want to do the right thing with Este but I'm sorry, she simply isn't trying hard enough.

Diana..You are always so kind and generous with your words. I have had some challenges , but I also try to always remember that God has blessed me in so many ways. I used to love dolls when I Was a little girl and would ask for one every birthday and Christmas. Now, I have three living dolls..aged 2, 4, and 7. ..and I get to play with two of them almost every day. Today, we decorated the tree and had cocoa . Blessed.

Gloria, once again wonderful recap. My thinking about Acacia is that she is indeed a selfish self absorbed young girl who craves for parental attention she so lacked when she was growing up. When and if she abandons herself to the pedophile stepfather of hers, when all of this comes to light, I can't imagine the devastation of her own mother who as we c an see went nuts losing her baby. To lose her daughter to the devil!! why she would go insane and berserk. I only hope that their illicit affair happens when he gets divorced from Chris and not now. Their is no amount of justification for their behavior. It is immoral, forbidden and traitorous. Can't we find somebody nice galan to be the object of her affection and save her soul? I have this amount of mercy and compassion for her...but not the pedophile. He can be damned to hell for all I care. Excuse my rant. Anne
