♥ Mi Corazón es Tuyo ♥ #110, Lunes 12/22/14: ♥The Happiness Conspiracy♥

Dispensing with refritos...

Bruja Central: Soledad absorbed the shock of hearing that Isabitch wasn't her daughter with her trusted and protective Angel there for her. Fernando wasted no time demanding to know where his nasty ex was.

Yomama realized that the jig was up but couldn't stop him heading toward Isababy's room, whose occupant was shaking in her Manolo Blahniks as Fernando shouted her name through the closed door. She headed away from the door as Fernando charged in accusing her of intercepting and deleting his e-mail and then deceiving Angel. She tried to weasel her way out of this, but Fernando wasn't having any. He stated it was a waste of time talking to her and started to leave. She tried to talk, but he stopped her by saying that everything she does is meant to cause pain and it comes out badly.
He listed the incident with the pearl necklace, Yomama's impersonation of Ana's mother, and now this. “Don't you have a private life?” he asked. “Something productive to do? You're Vice President of a company, aren't you? So work! That should go well for you. Yet you waste your time thinking of ways and doing things to hurt Ana.”

I do my duty appropriately and my private life suits me fine,” she said.

Stop bothering the woman I love.”

You tell this woman you 'love' to stop bothering the woman who loves you,” she shouted, pointing at him.

What? That's love? You don't know what love is. You don't know how to love. And I'm going to tell you something. Ana is going to be infinitely happy because in spite of your absurd games she is going to meet her mother.”

You will still have to deal with me. Have you forgotten that I'm going to have your child?”

No. I remember it all. I've not forgotten. And you will remember that you will not set foot in my house.”
He exited the room, closing the door behind him. Isabrat sneered like a child and laid down on the bed saying “The good part is that this poor man doesn't know it isn't his baby.”

Sometimes mortals confound me,” said Zeus. “It's like they think they have all the time in the world.”

I know, husband,” said Hera. “But evil people only think of themselves. At least this one's best-laid plans come to naught in the end.”

I hope Fernando finds out about the baby sooner rather than later.”

He can't know until I can figure out her punishment,” said Hera. “That's a privilege I'm keeping.”

Yomama was very embarrassed and tried saying that she didn't help Isabitch plan her little deception. Fernando explained to Soledad that Ana Leal, her daughter, worked for him. Angel told Soledad that it was best they leave. Yomama tried apologizing to her, but Soledad didn't buy it. She started to tell her off. Fernando told Soledad she never had to encounter her again. Yomama reminded Fernando that she was his child's grandmother. “Yes. Poor child,” was his reply. He had to explain to Soledad that Isabrat was his ex-wife.

The three then left. As the door closed Ramona – who had silently witnessed this entire shameful scene – said she didn't get it. Yomama said she didn't either, but suggested that she make some of her great margaritas and they go up to the roof for some sun. As Ramona went to the kitchen Yomama tut-tutted to herself about her errant daughter and how fed up she was with this.

Lascuráin Mansion: Ana was in the kitchen with Bruno and Johnny having espresso and talking about inconsequentials. Johnny started talking about his upcoming boxing match, then told Ana he had to talk to her about something. A few sentences later he told her he was worried about Jenny.

In the library Jenny told Nicolás she loved him. She was tired of his recent attitude and the fights. She wanted to know whether he wanted her to leave him. “Don't you care that I love you?” she asked. He flatly told her “No, because the truth is I don't love you.”
As she started to cry he turned his back so she couldn't see that he was lying through his dental implants. He would not turn around at her entreaties to do so. Through her tears she told him she didn't believe him and finally said “I hope you don't regret this” before she walked out.

Nando arrived home at that same moment, smiling. His smile faded quickly as Jenny ran up the stairs without a word to him. He noticed the open library door and went inside, asking Nicolás if he was alright.
Nicolás pushed away tears and told him he was alright as Nando hugged him. However, he couldn't fool the boy.

I don't believe this,” said Aphrodite. “He's throwing away two people's happiness.”

I know. But don't worry, Mother; I'll do something about this,” said Eros. “I don't know what, but I'll do something.”

Angel's Apartment: He brought Soledad some water. She told him she was alright. As he left the room to get the blood pressure gauge she asked Fernando about Ana. He told her about knowing that Ana was looking for her since she came to work for him and answered her questions about the web page. Angel returned with the instrument and put the cuff on her arm, addressing her as “Mama Sol”. Fernando asked “You're Ana's brother?” adding that Ana would be thrilled to know she had a brother. Soledad told him that Angel wasn't actually her son. Angel explained that he addressed her that way because of the love he felt for her. She had begun taking care of him when his parents died in an accident. He had been about five years old. She took care of him until his grandparents were able to a year later. That was when she began singing on the bus and the horrible thing finally happened. Angel got her to calm down while Fernando told her she owed him no explanation. She should tell all of this to Ana. Angel mentioned the suffering of years in prison when he looked at the gauge and saw 89/55. He told her she needed to rest, but she insisted upon seeing her daughter. “All in good time,” he said as he led her to her room. Fernando thanked God for all this.

Public University Campus: Fanny and Edith were sitting under a tree and Edith was upset. She begged Fanny not to tell Nando. Fanny tried to reassure her that what happened to her wasn't her fault. She had been a little girl and her stepbrother was much older. Edith cried, said Fanny was her best friend, and they hugged. Fanny's cell phone rang. She answered and grinned as Fernando told her he had found Ana's mother.

Lascuráin Mansion: Nando described what he saw when he got home with Johnny adding his two centavos. Ana told Nando to sit tight while she talked to Jenny.

Angel's Apartment / Campus: Fernando told Fanny that it would be tonight. She was to take Ana shopping for a new dress while he goes out to get one for Soledad.
Top secret. Fanny got excited at this as she promised to not say a word. Angel returned at the tail end of this and Fernando told him his children would be accomplices in the big surprise.
The two men sat down and talked about Ana. Fernando praised her nanny skills and Angel said he could see that when she came to the office with Luz.

Lascuráin Mansion: Ana went to Jenny to get her to talk about her bad situation. She told her that Nicolás said they were finished, but she hadn't been willing to throw in the towel. Nick was trying to push her away, even saying he didn't love her. She said she would have to accept this because she had her dignity. She started to cry and Ana hugged her.

In the library, Bruno and Nando were working on Nick who sang his same old song about wanting Jenny to be happy with a man her own age. Bruno and Nando tried to tell him he was younger than he seemed, but... do we need to review this again?
Before going back to page one again, Nando's cell rang and he had the same conversation with Fernando as Fanny did. He broke the good news as he ended the call.

Angel's Apartment: Fernando paced around, planning next steps of Operation Reunion as Angel came in and told him that Soledad had to rest. Fernando told him he wanted the reunion to be perfect, spectacular, etc. because he wanted Ana to be immensely happy, and Angel said he could count 100% on his help. Of course, he was also invited. Angel thanked him, but Fernando said, “No, I have to thank you for making this possible.”
He shook his hand and left to continue the plan. As he closed the door Angel said to himself “It's very clear that he's in love with Ana.”

Lascuráin Mansion / Fernando's Car: Ana helped Manuela and Johnny unpack groceries. As Ana tried explaining the Nicolás/Jenny situation to a curious but still spaced-out Manuela, Johnny's cell rang.
Fernando first asked where he was and he said “In the kitchen in your house,” and Fernando told him to step out so they could talk. He did a “Si, Señor!” and exited with a salute. Ana realized he was talking to Fernando, and started to follow him.
Manuela tried to say that the galaxy didn't want them to do this, but Ana said “This is my galaxy and we're going.”

Johnny was standing by the piano as Fernando told him he was not to tell anyone. Ana and Manuela quietly eavesdropped from behind the pillar. Fernando told him that Fanny was to get Ana out of the house for a while and if Ana asked any questions he should be creative in his reply. No sooner did he end the call than Ana came after him wanting to know what was up because Bruno had been weird before.
Johnny lied his way out of this one, saying it was about his upcoming boxing match.

What had to have been a very short while later, Fanny grabbed Ana by the hand and said they were going out to buy her a new dress. It was a surprise. Ana tried to get her to talk, but Fanny wouldn't.
The other kids and the men of the house – including Siete – were in the kids' playroom; Fernando told Bruno to shut the door. Before he could, the kids got their dad to reveal the big surprise. Bruno tried to shush everyone as he kept a lookout.

So why didn't he just close the door? Really, sometimes mortals are so weird.”

Hermes, Bruno is always weird,” said Apollo. “He is always nervous. I'd better send Eros after him again. He needs a woman.”

Eros is going to need my help,” said Hermes. “Bruno needs to learn how to talk.”

Thanks, bro. And see if you can help Manuela at the same time.”

Angel's Apartment: He sat at his computer thinking of his first encounter with Ana. Soledad came out to join him; she asked about Fernando. Angel told her he had to go somewhere to make preparations. She told him he looked like he did when she used to catch him stealing from the cookie jar. He told her that tonight she would meet her daughter and Fernando wanted to make it perfect for them.

Lascuráin Mansion: Ana said something similar to Fanny but didn't break her. Fanny started to pull her to the stairs, but she went back for her purse.

In the playroom, Fernando started to explain. Siete barked a couple of times to show he was paying attention. When he said that Fanny was going to take Ana to buy a new dress the girls insisted on going along; of course he told them to say nothing. They saluted him and ran out. Finally Bruno closed the door as Fernando explained to the boys what he wanted them to do.

Alicia and Luz caught up with the big girls, Luz assuring Ana she felt up to going out. None of them talked. Ana picked up Luz to see if she could get her to talk, but Luz zipped up, her big sisters following her lead.

Fernando told the boys what he wanted; before he left the room Nando told him they had to talk about Nicolás.

Boutique: Alicia brought out a pale pink dress with black lace, but Ana balked at the price tag. However, they insisted she try it on. The shop assistant led her to the dressing room and the sisters talked about how happy Ana would be at finally meeting her mother.

Angel's Apartment: Soledad was concerned about whether Ana would understand why she left her in the orphanage with the nuns. Angel told her she absolutely would. He was sure because he had met her. Soledad remembered him talking about her, that she was nice and she was pretty.
She was looking to find out if he was interested in Ana, but realized he had been badly hurt and it was probably too soon.

Lascuráin Mansion: Fernando handed him a speech to practice, but Bruno couldn't stop stuttering. In fact, it got a little worse.

Fernando then went downstairs to talk to Nicolás. He didn't take the bait, but Fernando didn't dwell on it. He told Nicolás he was going somewhere with him and led him out of the house.

Boutique: Ana came out of the dressing room in the dress. The girls looked a little critical, with Alicia saying “I don't know; it looks antiquated.” Ana was more concerned about the price tag, saying she saw a dress in a store in Ecuatepec, but Fanny told her “We don't have time to go to Ecuatepec; we're shopping here” and went back to the rack. Ana asked who was minding the twins and was told Manuela and Bruno. Of course she thought of Sarai...

Lascuráin Mansion: Sebastián was practicing a new routine while listening to the beat through headphones. Sarai entered the room unheard with the intention of sneaking up behind him.
Lost in his creativity he closed his eyes, moved, and ended up tripping them both until they landed on the bed with him on top of her. Miraculously, she didn't act like a brat about this and extended her hand for Sebastián to help her up. Sebastián took off the headphones and explained what he was doing, along with the fact that Ana hadn't seen her mother for many years.

Did her parents let her watch Gone With the Wind?” asked Aphrodite. “That child is too young to be imitating Scarlett O'Hara.”

I agree, Mother,” said Eros. “Sarai still needs to learn how to be a little girl. It's not right that she imitate adults yet. But at least her attitude seems to be improving.”

I guess we can be thankful for small favors.” Aphrodite poured some nectar for both of them. “And did you notice she wasn't wearing her gloves this time?”

Nando was looking at a website about sound systems as he spoke to the company. It sounds like he needed a system for outdoor use.

Boutique: We don't see it, but apparently the right dress has been found.

Angel's Apartment: Fernando introduced Nicolás to Angel and Soledad. He handed a beige garment bag to her, saying he hoped she likes the dress he bought for her. She was grateful but still concerned about Ana rejecting her. Fernando assured her that this won't happen because Ana is the most noble, happy, honest, and optimistic person he knows. Nicolás seconded these comments. Fernando told her Ana had been waiting her whole life for this.

Such a fuss,” said Athena. “Couldn't he have just brought Soledad to the house?”

You didn't have a mother,” said Artemis. “You can't know what this is like.”

True, but this could turn into something very.... I don't know, embarrassing?”

Fernando wants to do right by her, Athena. Makes me wonder whether we're going about things the wrong way.”

You mean by not appreciating men the way our sister does?”

Something like that.”

Well, there aren't many like Fernando.”

I guess not. Maybe our brother and our dad should work on that.”

Urban, thanks for yet another fantastic recap. I loved "lying through his dental implants." and am sure happy Eros is on the case to fix the Nico/Jennifer situation.

For someone who was wondering where the Lascuráins lived it was mentioned for the second time today when Nando was on the phone making arrangements for the sound system. He just said "Interlomas" which seemed to be the answer to where he would need the equipment. Someone mentioned that same place re: the Lascuráin household in an earlier epiosode a couple of weeks back but I could not remember it. Anyway, Interlomas, according to what I found, is 11 miles west of the historic center of Mexico D.F. and is a residential and commercial center.

For me the best part was the shopping trip. Should be a good episode tomorrow.

Has anyone else noticed the other changes in the title sequence? There is a three-way split screen with Fernando, Ana, and Angel and another with Johnny, Jenny, and Nicolas.

I'm not liking that at all.

Thanks Urban, that was super fast and super detailed!!

-How did Fernando have time to buy a dress for Soledad, not to mention know what size, what color she liked or hated...

-I always wonder if the Ana and Jenny actresses are really friends off-screen--they are very convincing that they care for each other.

Anyone else think that Isabella has just given up or will she try something to ruin the party.

I'm so sick of the Nico/Jen thing, but will hang tough just so I don't have to put up with Johnny.

By the way, Where is Enrique? "

Urban, excellent as always. :))

Yes, I noticed the 3 way split screen. I was so busy thinking about it that I didn't notice if Pablo Montero was still listed in the credits. Is he still there?

He is shown in the scene where they are going through the maze and then that end shot of them standing on the stairs.

I love, love, love little Luz and those twins. I'm ready to take them home!

Fatima

Oh, and I will take Siete along with Tito from MPV.

Fatima

Thank you Urban! Your recaps always add so much to my enjoyment of the episode, including the screenshots and the words of wisdom from Mt Olympus...love it!

I'm glad things are finally moving along with Soledad. I'll feel better after they've actually met.
Was wondering if they will try to pair Nico up with her?

J in Oregon

Thank you, Urban and Olympians, for another amazing recap!

Urban - I did notice the new three-way split. I suppose the producer can create an infinite number of splits, depending on how long he wants to extend this tn. 400 episodes? 500?

I assume if the triangle develops among Fer, Ana, and Angel, it will be because Fer reacts badly to Ana's night job. His negative reaction would be the only motivation for her to seek consolation elsewhere.

Rip - I agree with your assessment of Ana and Jenny. Their friendship appears genuine.

J in Oregon - I had the same thought about Nico and Soledad. Can you imagine how awkward would that relationship be for Ana?

Have a lovely day, All!

*. . . how awkward that relationship would be for Ana?

Thank you, Urban, this was awesome. The screen caps are so well chosen, I don't even have to watch the episode anymore.
I think tomorrow we're getting the big reunion. Finally!!

About the split screen - I guess the triangles are on, right? If Jen and Nico can't make it work, I'd much rather see her with Angel then for Angel to fall for Ana when she has another fall out with Fer - most likely after he finds out the big secret.

Pablo Montero is still listed in the credits. If not, he would have been edited out of the title sequence. Which could still happen.

Norma Herrera was listed from the beginning and look how long we had to wait for her.

I'd also like to see Jenny with Angel if things don't work out with Nick, who would be more appropriate for Soledad. This would not have to be awkward for Ana if that marriage ended amiably. However, things are rocky right now as they usually are at this point in the story.

I don't want to see Jennifer with Johnny, who isn't mature enough to be in a relationship.

Reeky needs to resurface, discover that Isabitch's unborn is his, and tell the world that he is going to be a Daddy. In previous episodes they teased us with his dreaming of being a Father.

Did he? I don't think he would care. That man is devoid of normal feelings in addition to being a perv.

A friend of mine was married to a man whose father hit on his sons' girlfriends when the boys were in high school. I can easily picture Reeky doing this if we had a dreaded FF to the future.

-I'm a novela novice, but should we expect Reeky and Isa to "see the light" after their baby is born and both change into kind, caring parents?

-Never thought about Nico and Soledad, that would be interesting. But why does everyone on this show have to pair up--i.e. Sebas and Sarai????

Rip, both Isabruja and Reeky are past the point of no return for that. Neither of them cares about other people and she has specifically been insanely contemptuous of the baby, even to the point of creeping Reeky out.

He has threatened Leon and his family and attempted to kill Nick; she has hurt Fernando's children with a childish prank and vicious words. She and her mother have hurt Ana and tried to humiliate her.

As to everyone being paired up, the idea of pairing up a kid Sebas' age is a new one on me. I'm already not completely OK with pairing up the two older kids, the younger of whom has still to enter college.

UA, I know. ITA with your feelings about the pairing of Alicia and Pablo and even more Sarai and Sebas... please, let the kids be kids before they need to get their hormones fluttering.
UA, btw, i caught the last words from Fernando as Nico seconded his first set of adjectives for Ana. Since Soledad was still questioning, Fernando added that Ana was the most generous and loving person he knew... and as he handed the dress to Soledad, he added he had taken the liberty of getting her a dress so Ana could see where she gets her beauty from. (awwwwww!!!)

did anyone catch a glimpse of Ana's dress? she looks like she is going to a Sherlock Holmes party! not really becoming of her. hopefully she will lose the cape early on and look much better without it.

the glimpse of Ana's dress was in the previews for tonight... this must be SOME EPisode i get to recap!! whoo hoooo!!!
i will make sure i have two dvdrs taping it just to make sure lol.

I have never wished death for anyone in a novela as an anvil, but Isa and Freeky have not done anything that resembles a hint that they could be reivindicated. so i would be surprised if they end up being 'reborn' in personality and together in the end

I found the accidental falling on the bed scene with Sebastian on top of Serai while gazing into her eyes particularly offensive. Is Osario grooming his kid to be a young romantic galan in a future TN by teaching him the tricks early on?

If so, it's a little soon for that. Besides, who knows if he will have the rest of what it takes when that time comes?

The boy playing Nando has potential, as does the young man playing Leon. But sadly, you can't predict whether a kid will be an attractive adult. Even cute ones can end up becoming homely or even ugly adults.

Pablo Montero was not a particularly cute little boy, but he ended up getting his looks as a teen and he has improved with maturity. I hope the twins keep their looks so they can become handsome young men. They definitely have galan potential.

just think of Patrick Dempsey... go to youtube and watch some of the movie 'can't buy me love' and now as an adult he became Dr McDreamy... who would have known.

Wonderful recap Urban, as always." Really, sometimes mortals are so weird.” Got that right!!

I noticed the change in the opening last night as well...usually don't pay attention. Do I hate the triangles? Oh, let me count the ways. Again, Angel:a wonderful guy that is doomed to love the heroine who is hooked on someone else. I'm sure we'll have another temporary hookup--yet to have the "Chicago" reveal-- but gees, so clichéd and unfair. Got the background with he and Soledad right though.

As for Jen, cripes, just let Nico go. Use to like the man, but now he's just annoying and whiney. She deserves better, but Johny? Really? Why are the writers punishing this poor woman?

And do I also hate the fact that apparently Johny is on speed dial to Fer and included in family affairs? You got it. And why would Fer give Bruno the speech or announcement to make...of course to show us that Bruno will do it flawlessly. Love this plot ploys.

I think Fer's tirade at Isa could have been a lot stronger, but he appeared to keep reigning it in knowing she was pregnant. As he said "poor baby". I'm hoping Yomama finally realizes with this failed ploy that she needs to distance herself from Isa's shenanigans or at least not condone them as she has done. But I won't hold my breathe.

I don't think we've seen the last of Eeky. Need those bad pennies in TN's.

The Sebas falling on Sarai--how inappropriate writers. They aren't 20-somethings, the implication there was a little much for tweens. Stop doing adult romance plots with kids--there's ways to play crushes without that.

Tonight should be Kleenex worthy. Glad it came before the holidays - my sons will be out with friends and I can get stupid, teary without judgment :)

Daisynjay

Marta, in tonight's episode you will see what the girls saw in the boutique. You will not be disappointed.

Angel might have sneaked a look at size tags on Soledad's dresses. I have yet to meet a man in the real world who can guess a woman's size as well as he appears to (remembering Ana's new uniforms).

I should have been clearer; I mean as Fernando appears to.

Fernando's reproach of Isabruja was appropriate. He is a gentleman and would not use stronger words than necessary to make his point. I'm sure she's trying to cook something up that will really bring it all down, so there is plenty of time for him to let it all hang out.

DaisynJay,
Tonight should be Kleenex worthy. Glad it came before the holidays - my sons will be out with friends and I can get stupid, teary without judgment :) absolutely !! you will need the whole box of kleenex!!!

UA, right before Fernando left Angel's house he thanked Angel for the 'measurements' of Soledad (Angel must know them or have got them from Soledad or her wardrobe and gave them to Fernando when he came back out to living room after he put Soledad to rest ...

Thank you, UA. Great job with a winning episode.
I hope that tonight´s fulfills the dreams of both Soledad and Ana for a wonderful reunion.

The scene with Sebastian falling on top of Sarai was not apprropriate. I am becomeing more convinced that she has some relationship to Angel. Thanks for putting that idea out there for us to ponder.

This is excellent UA. Lot of effort and is appreciated.

The Sebastian and Sarai thing is weird, face to face, him on top on the bed yet Pablo and Alicia nervously dry peck chaperoned. Am I supposed be ok with two kids getting physical?

I want Nic to die and spare me. He is purposefully ripping Jenny's heart out and is unforgivable. He is no different in his treatment of her as Isabela is of Ana. Why does that piece of crap old man get a pass?

Thanks UA. There was one confusing moment for me. When Fernando asked if Angel was Soledad's son, Ana's brother, she said that no, she took care of him since he was 5. So if she spent all those years in jail, how did she take care of him? Is he supposed to be 10+ years older than Ana?

I don't see how Ramona couldn't at least understand what despicable people she works for. She heard the convo about trying to kill the dog, and she heard the convo about pretending to be Soledad's daughter.

We are also going to get yet another rap dance performance from Sebastian. Ugh!

I wouldn't be surprised if we end up by the end of the show with a Jonny/Jen matchup. Remember, they love Jonny, so I'm sure he's going to have a happy ending.

Way over the top with Sebastian and Sarai. Sexualizing children is so very wrong.

One last complaint, I don't see why they did this whole Manuela detour. What was the point?

UA, thanks for the super excellent recap and for helping us eavesdrop on the Olympian commentary. Also, so many fantastic screenshots! I don't know how you manage that. I also cracked up at "lying through his dental implants".

I thought Ana's dress and cape in the previews looked very beautiful. I got a bit of a matador vibe off the cape; I thought it was elegant if a bit fancy for the backyard.

However, her attire was really the only thing I like about this surprise Fer has set up. SO MANY things I would hate:

-being made to wait longer
-people keeping secrets from me
-everyone else knowing first
-dressing in formal wear for what should be a personal, intimate, come-as-you-are occasion
-excessive formality
-pompous speechiness, huge production
-hordes of people staring at me in an emotional moment

She's reuniting with HER OWN MOTHER, Fer. It isn't a coronation.

However, Ana is pretty much my total opposite, so she'll probably love it. Although I think she might suspect Fer is going to propose marriage.

Nico is a troll and I think he can go ahead and die anytime. Did the surgeons accidentally remove his heart entirely? Jen should ditch him and fall in love with Angel, not because Nico is old and infirm, but because he's a jerk.

Loved Fer yelling at Isa to grow up and get a life. He should have yelled it at Yolo, too.

Julia, i had not thought of it from that angle but you have a point there. Fernando is making it a huge production for something that should be a private emotional moment... but i guess he is just trying to show Ana just how much they love and appreciate her. I bet like you said Ana does not mind so much. but watch tonight and tomorrow. eventually he will back off and give them their space/time to reacquaint themselves.

Fer is setting it up as a theatrical performance. I don't like that, especially since he is throwing this at Ana as a surprise. She shouldn't have to be performing for an audience at such a time, nor should she need any superficial trappings or dressing up. Reuniting after so many years of searching would be just as meaningful to them if they were wearing old rags; in fact, I wouldn't think they would even notice or care about clothing. It isn't a pageant. Yet Fer is making a pageant of it. I wonder if he plans to make them strut in bathing suits and demonstrate a talent.

Just skip all that pomp and circumstance and move straight to the "world peace" part!

I honestly think Fer is taking a lesson right from Ana's own bag of tricks with the ultra-party reveal. She's always coming up with banners and hoopla (remember helping Nico with Jen's engagement?), then encouraging Sebas with the dance routines that eventually even Fer got into...you reap what you sow. So she'll totally love it and be all in for it.

And cathyx, hadn't paid attention but yeah, we might get a welcome to our "family" rap dance from Sebas to Soledad. Poor woman. Hopefully Seite will be joining and she can focus on the pooch.

Daisynjay

Well, Soledad is inured to bad children's performances. That's her career. Like mother, like daughter. I'm sure they'll love the huge production. I'm the one who would hate it, but it isn't for me.

Daisynjay, When Fernando was talking to himself about all the things he needed to have covered, he mentioned dancing, and said, oh, Seb, of course. So I know we're in for that treat.

UA: thanks for the awesome recap.

I’m not in favor of violence, but when Jen was sobbing in Ana’s arms I hoped someone would go down and shoot Nico for being such a jerk.

Thought I was going to have to use TNL (TN Logic) when Fer was talking to Angel about Ana if Angel didn’t get it that Fer was in love with her. Thanks goodness he did.

Loved how Fer included Siete. Every time Siete barked he said something to him.

Loved how the kids called Fer “Captain” (shades of The Sound of Music).

Felt uncomfortable with Sebas on top of Sarai, too. And, no Aphrodite, I did not notice the gloves. She’s beginning to loosen up.

J in Oregon: I was wondering the same thing about Nico and Soledad. I hate to see Jen with a broken heart, but there’s a good looking doctor who might just be perfect for her.

When Angel sees Ana with Fer, he’s going to know she feels the same about him. If she does turn to Angel after a fall out with Fer, he’ll have his eyes wide open going in.

The party is totally appropriate for this TN and its broad humor.

Nanette

Let's hope that when Angel meets Jen for the first time, they do that 'look' thing they do when it's supposed to be destiny and love at first sight.

Angel, please don't be too upset about not getting Ana. She has an awesome best friend who will be available soon and is just as sweet and loving, without all the screeching. Plus, she isn't your mother figure's daughter. Win!

Almost as bad as Sebas falling on Sarai was the way he was holding the guitar pillow between his legs after he stood up. Oh. Em. Gee. REALLY, director?!?!

I wonder if the ferret will make an appearance at the party. Is it still around? Did they bother to get it out of the house before the fumigation?

Where is Ricky? And where is the ferret??????
Maybe Nic & Sol will become a couple & Angel & Jennny.

Back when the ferret first appeared one of the kids wondered whether he belonged to a neighbor. I'd like to think they still have that cute little guy, who should have fun playing with Siete.

I was thinking the same thing while I watched the episode about it being a big production. It does seem like something that should be private and in a quiet place, like the nearest church. Safer, too, because after all the evil Isabitch has done would she dare follow either of them into the church? Actually, scratch that. Fernando's home should be the refuge from her.

Fer should have just picked up Ana and taken her to Angel's place to meet Soledad. Then, after making the introductions, Fer and Angel could have disappeared, leaving them with food and drink so that they could chat as long as they wanted in comfort.

But that isn't BIG DRAMA.

Springing the whole clan on Soledad all at once seems a little obtuse. Sure, Ana might like it. She already knows all those people and likes chaos. But Soledad is going to have to meet all thousand of them at once, while trying to reconnect with her daughter, and she seems like a quieter, more introverted person and already has health problems. I hope Fer doesn't kill her off with all the noise and crowd and fanfare.

I agree with Daisynjay, Fernando is just taking the production out of Ana's playbook and not bothered by it. Ana knows something big is going down so great it is he life's dream come true and gets to share with her new family. They are happy too and think of Ana as their mother.

Please don't punish Soledad and hook her up with the a-hole Nic.

Not only was Angel enamored by Ana when she took Luz to the doctor, she was giving him a preen or two, it won't take much for her to make a leap to the guy.

I just wonder, since Fernando has a neon sign draped around his neck saying he loves her and is thrilled to help make this happen for the woman he loves, will she reciprocate his affection or continue to lie and remain at arms length?

I don't see the problem with Fanny, Nando or Alicia dating or having a little friend. Fanny is a legal adult in college. Nando is 17. Alicia isn't going on dates, she's sitting in the living room with her dork of a boyfriend. That's what kids their age are doing.

Sebastian...that's a bit much with Sarai. There's nothing wrong with him having a little crush on her but falling on the bed with her? Nope.

It appears to me the Sebastian/Sarai theme is an indulgence for a spoiled son of the producer.

I totally agree with that, tofie.

I miss your lists.

Thanks UA, well done.

Julia, like you, I think this reunion should have been planned as a more subdued private event. Maybe with a bigger celebration later.

I don't recall if this has been noted before, but didn't Soledad have just about the most flattering prison mug shot ever?

As for the weasel... I'm afraid that we've seen the last of him.

Re: At arms length.....Lets not forget her night job is working for some shady underworld character in a stripper/hooker establishment. I actually believe Don Fernando deserves better. A N D she aint that hot. His kids just adore her.. Just my 2$

Oh shoot is Sebas the show producers son? ? ? Que ¿

I felt the Sebastian/Sarai moment on the bed was inappropriate. She feels much too young and immature to be in such a scene, as does Sebas. If a similar incident were to occur in true life, I would not be as bothered, because it would really be an accident. But to place two underage, quite young children in a scene where they fall on a bed, it's kind of creepy. Maybe I am alone?

How can anyone, even less a man, buy a dress for any woman? Fer knows Sols size, her taste, --- get real, & forget stupid (sex) scenes between children.
