TELEMUNDO Y MENOS: Reina de Corazones, Project Chapter a Day -- week of December 1, 2014: Episode 133.

Episode 133 televised on Friday, 11/21 from 35:40 - 48:00.

In which:
Izzy isn't dead -- or is he?
The search for Navier becomes a media circus!
Juanjo's sad secret is revealed! (Who knew he had a secret?)
There are two deliveries but there’s only one live baby

Navier may have forgotten many things, but he remembers he is the hero of this telenovela.
He comes to the rescue of winsome Bar Lady, beckoning her to his side and ordering the Three Stooges to leave. "Who are you?" barks the biggest stooge.  "None of your business," says Navier.  "All that matters is that she has someone to look out for her -- and that's me."  Having no idea he is dealing with the Dragon, the big stooge makes the mistake of reaching for his gun.  Navier shoots it out of his hand.  "The next time, the bullet goes in your hand -- or your head, depending on my mood, which, at the moment, is pretty bad.  If you come back, you'll leave feet first.  Now GET OUT!  And you, leave the money."

Bar Lady is still reeling from what just happened.  "Who ARE you?" she asks Navier for the second time.

He's no angel
A framed photo of Izzy sits on a table.  Connie lights a candle and wishes aloud that he could hear her, see her, feel her love wherever he may be.  Could he be in heaven?  Nah.  Too many sins in this life.  But Connie forgives him.

Most people would just hang up
Connie's phone rings.  She picks it up, says hello and a second or two later, her mood changes dramatically.  She shouts into the phone:  "Stop bothering me or I'm going to report you to the police!  I'll have to change my number!  You've been calling me for months and you never say anything.  I can hear you breathing.  If you know me, you know I'm in mourning, I'm a widow -- well almost -- and I still love him!  Respect my pain and don't bother me anymore!"  She hangs up.

So is this Purgatory?
We don't see the caller's face, but from the back, he looks oddly familiar.  Then Moto calls to him: "Isidro, I need you to come with me."  Yes, it's the late Izzy Castillo and it turns out that he isn't so late after all!

Moto notices something is wrong and asks him if he has a problem.  He does.  He has been isolated in this place (the CIA headquarters) for five months and he hasn't been able to see his Connie.  Moto thinks he should be grateful he isn't in jail or dead.  "Let's go!"  Izzy grabs his jacket and follows her.

Who was that man I saw you with last night?
Juanjo can't take it anymore.  "Pack up your stuff and leave!"  Susana swears she has never been unfaithful to him.  But Juanjo saw her with a tall, good-looking man, very well dressed.  On Monday, he saw them in a bar together at 5 in the afternoon. On Tuesday, he saw them having lunch in the Park Hotel. On Wednesday evening, he saw them walking together.  She's been with him every day of the week.  Is she going to deny it?

No!  She won't deny it because it's true.

Esmeeth's apartment -- It's time to think outside the caja!
Reina tells Esmeeth and Asunción that she knows Victor is lying.  He told her he had killed Navier (and included every gory detail) because he enjoys seeing her suffer.  Esmeeth thinks it's time to change their strategy in looking for Navier.  Everything so far has been in secret.  Maybe it's time to bring the search out into the open.  Reina likes the idea -- let the whole world know they're looking for Navier!

So how did you meet the Three Stooges?
Bar Lady hands Navier a cup of coffee.  Not yet understanding that he's a Super Hero, she is amazed at his marksmanship.  How did he learn?  He doesn't like to talk about himself.  He turns to conversation to her.  How did she get mixed up with the Three Stooges?

It's a long story, she says.  She inherited this bar from her dad.  He was a compulsive gambler and he had a lot of debts.  From playing poker?  Yes. (Navier mumbles something here about connections to the Mafia.)  Her grandparents opened the bar in the 40's.  It was their whole life.  They passed it on to her father and her father passed it on to her.  But he also passed on all his debts.  She's in debt to the Three Stooges and every other loan shark in Las Vegas!

Isn't she scared? asks Navier.  "A little," she admits.  Things are spinning further and further out of control.  Her father died only recently.  She doesn't know what will happen.  And after what Navier just did, the Stooges are going to come back to kill her.  They're going to want their revenge.

Navier thinks he's the one they'll want to get even with.  Isn't he afraid, then?  No.  He has nothing to lose.

He is concerned about her going home alone tonight.  The Three Stooges might be waiting for her outside.  He offers to accompany her and then return to the bar.  She accepts the escort and offers him a room at her house -- her father's room.  She even has some clothes from an old boyfriend that might fit him.  Navier prefers to stay in the bar.  The place is growing on him.

Why Surprises are Almost Always a Terrible Idea - or - Meet My Imaginary Family!
Susana admits that she met that man at all the times and places Juanjo mentions.  She wanted to prepare a surprise for him on their wedding, but she's the one who ended up with the surprise.  "You lied to me Juanjo!"  Huh?  The man was a detective she hired to find his family in Mexico so she could bring them to Las Vegas for their wedding.  That beautiful family he told her about!  And she learned that it doesn't exist -- and it never existed.

All Sewn Up
The mortal remains of Mauro Montalban are laid out on the autopsy table.  "We found him in his suite," says Picasso.  "He rented it in the hotel where Victor kept his Sex Pad and Film Studio," says Moto.  "In fact, he acquired Victor's Sex Pad and Film Studio under odd circumstances which he couldn't explain when we arrested him a few months ago, says Picasso.

"If what you want to know," says Agent Isidro, "is whether or not Victor did it, he didn't.  You know perfectly well that I'm with you.  I'm not protecting him."

Now Picasso connects the dots for the curious viewer, who, up until a few moments ago, was sure Izzy was pushing up daisies:
"Five months ago, we saved your life," he says.  "I know," says Izzy.  Picasso advises Izzy to be honest.  "I'm being honest, sir."

"Five months ago when you called Reina Ortiz," continues Picasso, "she thought you were setting a trap for her.  I offered to look into it.  You've never told me how you were injured."

Flashback:  Estefi drives onto a scary, foggy Telemundo backlot and drops Izzy next to a dumpster.  He moans weakly.  "I knew you weren't dead," she says, holding the blade of her knife to his neck.  "But you will be if you don't tell me where Greta's baby is."  Izzy croaks out: "Her name is Agatha and Lázaro and Dr. Jackie have her."  She stabs him again and again.  He cries out in pain.  She walks back to her van and drives away.

"I'm keeping that part of the story to myself, sir," answers Izzy.  "There's another part of the story where we save your life, right?" persists Picasso.

Flashback:  Picasso is walking along that precise alley on that Telemundo backlot when the beam of his flashlight falls on Izzy, battered and bloody, but still alive.  "If I die," he manages to croak out, "I want Connie Leiva to know I left her something very important so she won't be in need.  I left her ... "  He can't finish the sentence.

"Five months ago when we saved you, we agreed you wouldn't have to name your attacker or the reason for the attack and you agreed to give us all the information you had on Victor De Rosas.  Since then, you've been working for us."

"I know, sir.  You don't have to remind me.  But I repeat, Victor De Rosas isn't the killer who sutures the lips of his/her victims."

(This would be so much easier if I could bring myself to write "...the killer who sutures the lips of their victims."  But I just can't do it.  Sorry.)

De Rosas Mansion - Her Delicate Condition.
Victor talks on his cell phone.  "Any news?...  I want you to scour every corner of Las Vegas for him!"

He sees the lovely Cobra walk in the front door.  "It's very late for someone in your condition to be out."  Her condition didn't keep her from hearing what he just said.  Who is he looking for?  Navier?  He tells her to butt out.  She tells him not to try to take advantage of her just because she's pregnant.  She can still defend herself and she can still shoot.  She's still dangerous.

No Soul and No Heart -- But Get a Load of That Ego!
"You won't shoot me because you love me," says Victor.  From the first moment he saw her, he knew she wanted to live with him and have his child.  "You've loved me for years, Alicia, but I can't love you.  I've only had two loves in my life -- Estefanía and Reina."  He gives her the death stare.  "When I lost Estefanía, I turned into a monster; and when I lost Reina, I turned into something much worse -- a monster without a soul, without a heart, a monster who lives for vengeance!  I want to take revenge on Javier Bolívar and I want him dead.

Navier walks through the deserted kitchen of the bar.  He munches on an apple.  He picks up a local newspaper.

Reina looks at the driver's license in Navier's wallet.  "Where are you?  Why haven't I heard from you?"

Navier puts his gun under his pillow and gets ready for another solitary night.

"Sometimes the only thing that helps me is imagining you here with me," whispers Reina, "imagining you kissing me..."

Navier sees an article in the paper:  "The reopening of Reina de Corazones."  He doesn't react to her photo or her name or the story of her business.

Esmeeth tells Reina that she has given all the instructions.  As of tomorrow, Navier's disappearance will be made public.

Navier reads about a raid on a secret lab, experimentations with illegal drugs and a fugitive from the lab.

The Morning Papers -- More People Read Them Than You Might Think!

Ooh look - They spelled my name right!
The next morning, ensconced once again in her tacky mansion, Estefi reads the paper aloud:  "The young entrepreneur Javier Bolívar, also known as Javier De Rosas, was married to Estefanía Pérez-Hidalgo, who is expecting his child."  She smiles her radiant BSC smile.  How she loves people knowing she is expecting his child! She has a feeling this is going to be a great day, she tells López 3.0.

Grrrrrrrr.  ¡Maldito infeliz!
Victor has apparently also been reading about Navier.  Damn it, he says, throwing down the paper.  I should have found you earlier!

ORBO joins Victor in the study.  "Talking to yourself?" he asks.  Victor hasn't had the best of mornings.  When he leaves, ORBO picks up the paper from the floor.  Fortunately for us, he hasn't learned how to read silently either so we hear him say:  "An intensive search for Javier Bolívar is underway several months after his disappearance."

Victor comes back in and snatches away the newspaper.  "Tell me the truth, Victor -- what do you have to do with Navier's disappearance?"  Victor says he doesn't trust ORBO enough to answer that question.  He reminds him he has already killed one Big O -- it wouldn't be that hard to kill another one!

Oh no!  What if this gets Navier killed?
Laz is also reading about Navier's disappearance.  He and Moto are having breakfast together.  She explains that it was Esmeeth's decision to go public.

"What if he's alive," asks Laz, "and the people who have him get scared and kill him?"  Moto says the previous strategies weren't working.  Besides, it may scare Navier's captors into releasing him.  He's not just an ordinary person -- he's an agent and he's a multimillionaire.  Any false step could lead to his death. [This doesn't make a lot of sense, but poor Moto has a lot on her mind.]

Maybe you should be marrying Navier!
Juanjo comes home to Susana and shows her the front page of the paper.  "They're looking for Navier."  Is that the only thing he has to say after the way he left her last night?  He was out all night!  He went for a walk.  He was so ashamed that she had discovered the truth about him that way.  He's sorry.

I wanted you to think I was somebody worth the trouble.
"Why did you lie to me?  Why did you invent a family?" He invented the family he would have liked to have but never did.  His mom died when he was very little.  His dad never knew him and he died many years ago as well.  He was left all alone and he was ashamed to tell her.  "Ashamed?"  Yes, he thought she wanted to have something important, something worthwhile...  Susana and Juanjo embrace.

Dragons make excellent janitors
Navier is mopping up the floor of the bar.  "Is this really my bar?" asks the Bar Lady, delighted at what a single Dragon has been able to do in a day.  She has a bag of donuts and invites him to have a cup of coffee with her.  She was thinking about what happened last night and she is getting panicky.  He tells her she could have called him.  She's not sure what she wants from him.  Does he want to take care of her?  Be her bodyguard?  He needs a job -- any job.

Her phone rings and she steps away, leaving him with the bag of donuts.

Look!  Reina is on television!
"We're in the Reina de Corazones Atelier with the designer Reina Ortiz.  Tell us the reason for this interview, Reina."

We see Connie and Asunción looking on.

Reina talks to the camera:  "I'm not here to talk about fashion, but rather to talk about a life -- the life of Javiar Bolívar.

We see Navier energetically mopping the floor in the restaurant kitchen...

Reina holds up Navier's photo to the camera.  "If anyone has seen him, please come forward.  I'm offering $5,000,000 to the person who gives me information that leads me to Javier Bolívar.  Please, I need your help.  On your screen right now, there's a phone number you can call.

Navier pauses in his work and puts his hand to his brow as if it is aching...

"I repeat, if you have any information, however insignificant it may seem, it may help us.  I beg you..."

He sits and lets his head fall back wearily.

"I know that Javier is alive, but I need you to help me find him.  I'm Reina Ortiz.  Thank you.  Javier, I'm waiting for you."

Asunción and Connie both go to stand at Reina's side.  Asunción hugs her.  Reina thanks the reporters for their help.

He just can't help himself.
Izzy is standing outside the Atelier, watching through the window.  Connie catches a fleeting glimpse of him.   Asunción and Reina notice that she is upset.  What's the matter?  "Do you believe in ghosts?" she asks.

She has miracle hands
Bar Lady returns to Navier and asks him what's wrong.  He tells her he has a terrible headache all of a sudden.  It turns out that Bar Lady is great at giving massages.  Her father used to get headaches and he said her hands were miraculous.  "Relax," she says, as she kneads the back of his head and neck. This-is-Just-a-Flash-in-The-Pan music plays.

Cloudy with a Chance of Nutballs
Estefi storms into the De Rosas mansion to complain to Victor that Navier's disappearance is in the news.  (Talk about mood swings.  What happened to her earlier giddy exhilaration?) Victor already knows -- he's reading the story on his tablet.

Even though Estefi was never able to catch him in the act, she knows very well that Victor has been holding Navier.  "How did you find out?" wonders Victor.

[ORBO is listening in just around the corner.]

Montalban told her, she says.  Victor admits he did have Navier but then they moved him.  And Montalban should keep his piehole shut.

Estefanía wants to make a deal with Victor.  She points out that for Reina's $5,000,000 reward, any of his thugs would double-cross him.  Give Navier to her!  But he can't.  "I don't have him anymore -- he escaped."

ORBO Squeals
Esmeeth gets a call from ORBO.  He finally got some information that may be useful to her. "Victor just told Estefi that he and MM were holding Navier as their prisoner all these months.  And not only that, he escaped."

Estefanía rants - It's not nice to fool the Reina de Diamantes!
"I'm going to kill you, Victor!  What do you mean, he escaped?"

"He didn't get away from me -- he got away from my people, from Montalban, who, by the way, has disappeared."

"No, he didn't disappear.  I KILLED him!"  Victor is momentarily gobsmacked.  "Yes, I did it -- because no one makes a fool of the Queen of Diamonds."

Cupid and Psycho
"You are the only man," Estefi tells Victor, "who has betrayed me a thousand and one times and I want to kill you but I don't dare..."  He caresses her face.

"Maybe it's for the same reason I haven't killed you..."  (Awwww!)

Big-bellied cobra slithers down the stairs just as their lips are about to meet.  Cuidado, she shouts.  She threatens to kill both of them if they don't keep more distance between them.  Pregnancy hasn't robbed her of her... abilities.

Victor retreats and leaves the pregnant momsters to work it out themselves.  "Victor, throw this woman out of the house!" shouts Cobra. Estefi says pregnancy hasn't interfered with her special gifts either.

"Leave Victor alone!" hisses Cobra.

"What's the matter? Are you jealous because you know he'll never love you the way he loves me?  That you'll always be in second place?  You know he'll never desire you the way he desires me.  You know that once you have that son, he's going to kill you, right?"

Cobra has the venom for just such a contingency.
"If he kills me, everyone will know that your daughter is alive and she'll end up in jail."  (Attentive viewers will recognize this as the very threat Estefi herself used to keep Susana in line.)

Estefi is so enraged that she slams Cobra in the chops, knocking her off balance.  She falls on the couch. Estefi jumps on her and begins to choke her.  Cobra pushes her off and fights back with equal abandon until Victor separates the harpies.  Both stand up clutching at their bellies.  They are both in labor!

Juanjo's House - On Off On Off On Off On...
Susana tells Juanjo not to be ashamed or afraid.  She doesn't care about his past or his family.  All she cares about is him, the man who made her feel alive, the man she is madly in love with.  "Is that really true?" asks Juanjo. " This love won't disappear?"  "Never.  This love is forever. I can't wait to be married to you!"

"But how is that possible?" asks Esmeeth, who, by episode 133, should know that anything is possible in this telenovela.  "If Montalban was locked up and the other one (Victor?) was being watched 24 hours a day, how did Navier escape?  What was his alibi?"  Picasso says he's thinking.

Reina comes in and asks if there's any news.  Esmeeth tells her they just found out that Victor was holding Navier prisoner, but now Navier has escaped.  "When?" asks Reina.  "Why didn't he communicate with us?"

We see Navier walking kind of zombie-like through the bar kitchen.

"He may have lost his memory," says Esmeeth.  "He may not remember who we are -- or who he is."  [He MAY have lost his memory, Esmeeth?  Have you forgotten all about PHoo Juice and Factor M and Shrieking Connie and Reina...?]

Bar Lady Has Joined the Navier Fan Club.
Navier tells Bar Lady that he feels much better now.  She offers to make him a special tea.  Did she make that for her dad too?  No, she made it for her ex-boyfriend.  "The one I have to thank for these clothes?"  Yes, he walked out on the unfortunate Bar Lady after her dad died and she was in debt.  He ran away.  He didn't defend her.  He was no Dragon.

She is very nervous about what happened.  Those men almost raped her.  She was terrified.  Up to now, she always paid up and never confronted them.  She would have continued like that for the rest of her life ... if it hadn't been for him.

She couldn't stop thinking of him all night.  [Cue the
This-is-Just-a-Flash-in-The-Pan music.]  She kisses him.  When she realizes he isn't responding, she pulls back and apologizes.  "Say something," she begs.  Is he married?  Does he have a girlfriend?  "I have no one."  "Well now you have me," she says, kissing him again.  He seems to be warming up to her, but then stops, backing away and saying it's time to open the bar.  Bar Lady touches her lips where his lips have been and smiles.

The Room of Screens aka The Reina Ortiz Call Center
Moto takes a call on the Reina Ortiz hotline.  "I want to talk to Reina Ortiz and I want the money," says the caller.  Moto signals to a colleague to put a trace on the call.  She asks for specifics.  "The man you're looking for is right in front of my eyes," says the caller.  [And he is!  The man is at the bar and just a few feet away from Navier.] But the caller is suspicious.  He wants his millions before he gives them the info.  He ends the call.

Even so, The CIA team manages to trace it successfully.

Navier approaches the caller.  He noticed the man was watching him.  Do they know each other?

Moto has the address the man called from.  "Did you call him back?" asks Picasso.

The man's phone rings, but he doesn't answer.  Reina asks for his address.  "What do you want it for?" asks Esmeeth, who is more than a little shrill at this point.  They've had thousands of calls!  She can't go to every single place!  But isn't that how they're going to find him? asks Reina.  Esmeeth tells her that agents are out there checking every call they get.

The professionals -- Esmeeth, Moto and Picasso -- step away for a moment, allowing the gifted amateur Reina to get the address from the agent at the computer.

The Momsters Labor in Adjacent Birthing Rooms

Estefanía sits up in her birthing bed and emotes.  "Doctor, this baby is the only thing I have in this life.  I know this is a high-risk delivery because I'm only seven months along, but make sure everything goes well.

In a delivery room next door, a female doctor is putting on what appear to be Rubbermaid cleaning gloves.  Is she going to scrub a toilet while she waits for her patient to dilate?  Oh wait, there's the Cobra on the table.    "I'm not afraid of anything," she says, "but right now I'm more afraid than I've ever been."  The doctor asks if they are waiting for the father.

Estefi's doctor, meanwhile, approaches Victor in the waiting room and tells him that Estefi doesn't want to be alone.  "Tell her there's not the slightest chance that I'll accompany her.  I'm not even going to be there when my own son is born."

The doctor goes to Plan B.  "Are you López?  Follow me, please."

"I don't want to be alone," whimpers Estefi.  "I'm afraid for my baby."  She looks up and sees that it is López, rather than Victor, who has joined the medical team in the birthing room.

Reina gets in her shiny black Kia and enters the anonymous caller's address in its GPS.  "I swear I'm going to find you, my love."   We catch a few notes of their song, so we all become hopeful.

Juanjo and Susana walk into the hospital waiting area.  Susana asks Victor what he's doing there.  He tells her that Estefi is giving birth in one room and Alicia is in the other.  Christian joins them and asks how Alicia is.  Victor just looks away without answering.

In the delivery room, Alicia's doctor announces that the patient's blood pressure is starting to go up.  They need to start now!

In her birthing room, Estefi grimaces.  We hear a baby's cry.  Is that coming from another room?  Estefi whimpers.  The doctor looks grim.

Alicia lies flat, as if being readied for an operative delivery.  Someone puts an oxygen mask over her face.

An enormous baby is taken from Estefi's nether regions and carried to the warming table.  "Why isn't he crying?" she shrieks.  "What's happening?"

The doctor tells Estefi to calm herself.  She has to be strong.  There was nothing they could do -- "Your baby was stillborn."

!!QUE??!!!  She grabs the doctor and pulls him to her.  "Imbecile.  My baby can't be dead!  Give me a live baby or I'll kill all of you!  I can change your life!  I can make you a millionaire ... I want a baby!"  Then she lets out a raw-throated scream.  LÓPEZ!

López 3.0 presses a gun into the doctor's back.  "You heard the lady," he says.

The doctor doesn't seem to get that he is dealing with a psychopath.  "I understand your pain," he says, "but I can't bring him back to life."

Estefi grabs a pair of surgical scissors and waves them menacingly in the air.  "Get me another baby or I'll kill all of you!"  Lopez 3.0 points his gun at the doctor's head.  "I obey orders," he says simply.

In the birthing room next door, we see a gloved pair of hands holding up a vigorous newborn.

In another part of town, Bar Lady wants to know why Navier approached that guy.  He didn't like the way he was looking at him, he tells her.  It was as if the guy knew him.  Navier flashes back to the encounter.  This time we see that he distracted the guy and palmed his cell phone.

Now Navier checks out the phone and seems upset by what he finds.  He leaves the bar.  Bar Lady follows his movements carefully.  The guy at the table suddenly notices that he doesn't have his phone.  He checks his pockets...

If I liked deliveries, I'd be working for Brown.
"And you still have a thing about not being in the delivery room for the birth of your child?" Susana asks Victor disapprovingly.  "I'm a businessman, not a doctor."  Juanjo assures Susana that when she has a baby, he'll be there for the delivery.  Victor and Juanjo begin to trade insults, but they are interrupted when Cobra's doctor appears in the waiting room.

"Has my son been born?" he asks her. "Yes," she tells him, "but he was stillborn."  Victor appears stunned.

Through a glass, darkly
Navier is in the restaurant kitchen.  He enters a number into the pilfered phone, but before he can complete the call, Bar Lady comes in and tells him she's closing early.  The customers are all gone and she's a little scared.  He says she shouldn't be -- she has him.  "You're not invincible," she smiles.  Or is he?  She hugs him.  Just then, Reina's interview comes on in the kitchen.  He stares at her image on the television screen.  He sees Reina holding up his photo.  Bar Lady stares too.

At that very moment, Reina knocks on the restaurant door and peers through the small glass pane.  Navier and Bar Lady look back through the small window in the door leading to the kitchen.

Think it can't get any crazier?  Come back tomorrow when Jean brings you Episode 134!

And why shouldn't Reina get her own page? She's entitled!

Woo Hoo! The master is in the house. What a fanastic recap, NovelaMaven. I was laughing out loud. I LOVED all the great section titles. A few of my favorites:

Most people would just hang up

If I liked deliveries, I'd be working for Brown.

The Room of Screens aka The Reina Ortiz Call Center

The Momsters Labor in Adjacent Birthing Rooms

Why Surprises are Almost Always a Terrible Idea - or - Meet My Imaginary Family!

Thanks, Jean! I think we're all inspired by the material, don't you?

Just brilliant, NovelaMaven! Thank you.

Has there been one doctor (other than Dr. Moto) in this whole tn who can't be corrupted?! Oh, I remember that Dr. Mala Suerte in Spain was a good guy too. Other than that, all these docs let the ethics fly out the window as soon as cash is waved in front of their faces.

True, Vivi. And what about all the other people who were in the delivery rooms. They didn't notice the switch?

Thank you, Vivi! I'm so glad you liked it!

The PHoo lab doctors have to know what they've gotten themselves into, but I'm not so sure about the OB's. When someone puts a gun to your head, it's pretty hard to take the high road.

(Of course the whole baby switch thing is completely absurd since Cobra's kid was full-term
and Estefi's was 2 months premature. And then there's the forked tongue and the shedding skin...)

Ah yes, good old Dr. Mala Suerte! Those were the days when a Hippocratic oath still meant something and a capítulo was a capítulo...
:D

Thank You So Much For This Excellently Laid Out Recap!!!!

I am glad you are publishing all 140 episodes of Reina de Corazones. You guys will really be helping me with a Facebook Page I am starting when it premieres here in Kenya in English dub under the title "QUEEN OF HEARTS". I love You, Caray, Caray Family.

Hi Desire Dobrov!

Wow! It's exciting to know that you are reading our little blog in Kenya.

I hope you enjoy Queen of Hearts as much as we did! Good luck with your Facebook project!

Whatever happened to Juan Soler's character in this TN ?

Hi Steve Boudreaux!

I'm not sure I understand your question:

"Whatever happened to Juan Soler's character in this TN?"

You realize that we Reinamaniacs are only up to ep. 133, so we're not discussing his ULTIMATE fate, right?

If you mean, what path has the character taken up to ep. 133, I would say it's the path to TOTAL PERDITION, but the classiest perdition possible.

While there have been times when he seemed sympathetic, lately he has been positively DEMONIC. Personally, I think the role as written and as interpreted by the actor have made for some first-rate villainy.
:D

NovelaMaven - Oh my, your recap was better than the episode! Delicious snark, awesome section titles; what can I say but thank you!!!

Isidro is alive! Hooray!!! Maybe Connie will have her Great Love Story, after all! (I hope so, bless her heart)

Two third-trimester-preñadas in a catfight was a telenovela first for me.

Reina’s black dress is the one she wore in the cast karaoke video.

Some of Javier's facial expressions made me think I was watching Brad Pitt in “Meet Joe Black”.

So we got Baby Swap 2.0, eh? I'm glad I don't live in Las Vegas and have to use those doctors. (snort)

My pleasure, Doris! Glad you enjoyed it!

Yes -- Izzy lives! And I'm glad I don't live in Las Vegas for all kinds of reasons!

Interesting association with Joe Black -- the Grim Reaper himself!

Heavy weighs the crown, huh?

It seems like Cobra was already 6 months pregnant before the 4 month time jump...

It seems like Cobra was already 6 months pregnant before the 4 month time jump...

hahaha. so true, Vivi. I can almost feel sorry for her ("Are you STILL pregnant?" "Haven't you had that baby YET?") But 'almost' is the operative word!

I did a new post for my recap, too. It's up.
