La Gata #65 And then stuff happened
My DVR went blank after maybe 25 minutes of the show and I could not find the episode on-line, below are bullet points of what I did get to see:
Previous: Episode 64
Next: Episode 66
- Pablo picks up Kitty and takes her on a hot air balloon ride, if my boyfriend did that he would soon find himself single.
- Mariano is freaking out about the missing paper work, and instead of telling Fernando he and Pablo make it a super special mission to locate the document-dude, when your last hope is Pablo you know you are doomed.
- Kitty arrives home
- Mercedes freaks out because Lorenza has not returned the babies in time for Esmeraldas to see them
- Mercedes comes clean and tells Kitty that Lorenza has been picking up the babies everyday so they can go to the park, Kitty does not look happy.
- Gisela goes looking for Lorenza and finds her at the park, when Lorenza asks if its true that Mariano raped her Gisela says that yes, he did, and she swears it on the babies lives- and she says they will be her future children-this chick is off her rocker.
- Mariano and Monica do lunch, and he tells her what Gisela is accusing him of, Monica says that Gisela is cray-and will stop at nothing to hurt them, it is clear that she is out to harm the people that love Esmeralda.
- Damian returns from his trip and learns about Esmes condition.
- Damian learns that Fernando gave blank documents to Mariano-he thinks this was a bad idea
- Agustin rejoices-he plans to use the blank documents to throw Fernando back in jail and steal all his wealth, I don't even know how such f*ckery is possible, someone send me a beanie. mine has worn out!
- Pablo and Mariano search for the paper work like two kids looking for dads Playboy stash.
My DVR went blank.
Am I the only one that feels like the story is going nowhere? It just feels stale and like it lacks direction, it is mind numbing and slowly killing Bernie-my one and only brain cell.

Augie gloated to Fernando and Osorio and told them to ask Mariano about it. Fernando could not reach Mariano by phone because Mariano was frolicking in the barranca with Pablo.
It was a strange scene, but I liked it. Pablo and Mariano, at wit's send after their fruitless search for the signed paper, took a trip to the barranca to blow off steam. The sight of Mariano sliding down the hillside on a cardboard box did my heart good. They discussed Mariano's love for Esme quite frankly.
Dr. Hottie met Esme and seemed impacted every time amor was mentioned and the discussed the meeting with Virginia. Someone please clue me in. Is he now in love with Esme also, or does he have a secret lost love?
That's all I can remember right now.
Monica was so funny last night!

I feel the same way you do about this show. It has felt directionless for quite some time. I'm sure that's because they are trying to prolong the show. I just keep hoping that the closer we get to the fin, the more on track it will get...
...then I remember CI. *sob*
DQTQTQ is looking like high art right now. It was extended as well, but I don't ever remember being tortured like this.
Maite is sure nice to look at, though.
I keep telling myself that I will be rewarded for all this suffering and Uni will decide to replace La Gata with something really good....or at least better than this...which isn't saying much.

I surfed into the show last night and saw mi telenovio Marcelo walking and talking with Esme . Sigh.................I'M BACCCKKK. ! The guy is gorgeous and such a good actor. Why is this hombre never cast as the galan ???

"Am I the only one that feels like the story is going nowhere?" I don't even know what to say. I don't know what I just watched, but the parts where I was barely paying attention seemed to make more sense, or at least be less annoying.
"I don't even know how such f*ckery is possible, someone send me a beanie. mine has worn out!" OK, here's what I understood, and frankly, I don't think a beanie can reasonably be expected to handle something sooooooo stupid, but here we go...
Augie typed up a letter granting himself the right to administrate all of Fernando's stuff.
What I speculate will happen is this:
Augie will present said letter to the judge. The judge, who has also been watching this show and has therefore killed off ALL his remaining brain cells, will just shrug and let Augie have all of Fernando's stuff back again. He (I was tempted to say "or she" but let's be real, that ain't gonna happen) won't bother being the least bit suspicious that Fernando would do that when he's in the middle of suing Augie. He won't bother listening to Fernando when Fernando insists he signed no such thing. He won't listen to Mariano when Mariano explains about the signed papers. He won't listen to Pablo when Pablo tries to explain that his dad TOLD him that he was doing this. He'll just trust the disbarred lawyer who's being sued for fraud.
I ask you...is it fair to expect a beanie to cover situations like this? I think not.

Further ranting...what a bunch of jerks are Team Silencioso for not bothering to tell Damian what's going on so he could walk in and stick his foot in his mouth.
I saw that there was a discussion about my telenovio Marcelo here, that leaked over into our La Malquerida conversation, so I had to join in. I saw the 2 minutes last night where Marcelo was walking and talking with wheelchair bound Gata. I figured he was supposed to be blind because of the cool sunglasses, because apparently that all blind people in Mexico need, but not a cane or guide dog to help them along D.F. (the largest city in the world) streets.
Marcelo always looks scrumptious. He looked manly and macho with his facial hair in DQTQTQ, and I liked it. But I like him clean shaven, and young looking like in this too.

Hi Vivi! I hadn't thought about Marcelo's lack of scruff making him look younger. I think they're trying to make sure he doesn't look too old for Esme. But, really...faced with such a gorgeous man, who would care?!
When he was talking to Esmeralda and the close up, clean shaven face, he did look really young.

Marcelo looked great, but honestly I was focused on Príncipe. He looked like he was enjoying the ride.

I don't want to sound like I'm badmouthing Marcelo, but I assumed the glasses were because he couldn't do the vacuous "blind" stare as well as Virginia, so they helped him out by putting sunglasses on him.
His unfocused gaze was a little iffy the other day.
Yes, Eau de Protagonista CAN be that strong. A little goes a long way. Somehow, Damian seems to be immune, though.

Thanks for the comments guys! I keep having the same issue with Time Warner, my DVR tapes a portion of the show and not the rest or will show it's taping something and then when you go to watch the show you get nothing but a blank screen.
I don't want to change companies because TW carry all the Laker games and without them its no Laker games for me. *sniff*
I dig Mr.Cordova and if I'm not mistaken he has said that he prefers not to be the galan.

Actually last night was the first time I realized that Marcelo was blind since he wore sun glasses. In his other scenes with Virginia I missed it.
