Caray, Caray!

The corrupt woman doctor tells Vic that there were complications with Cobra’s  caesarian. Her blood pressure dropped or spiked or something. They managed to stabilize Cobra but couldn’t save the baby. Christián is there. He tells the doc that he is Cobra’s brother and asks about her. Once again the doctor says that Cobra is stable but she doesn’t know anything about what happened yet. Victor tells the doctor that he wants to see his baby, to meet his son at least once. Esmeeth and FELS come in. They want Vic to come and make a statement about the death of MM. He tells them that he will be there after he says goodbye to his child who was stillborn. Susana and Juanjo are also there. FELS asks if they know what is going on. They say that they just got there. Another doctor comes out and asks for any family of Estefi. ”She already had her baby?” asks FELS.

Estefi is holding Cobra’s stolen baby and sobbing. She says that she will be with the baby all the time, take him to school and sing lullabies to him. López 3.0 is in the room. Estefi tells him that the baby looks just like his papa, Navier. “Cómo dos gotas de agua, Señora,” literally, “Like two drops of water,” says López 3.0 obediently. Estefi agrees. She has never seen such a similarity. She says that the baby looks like her too. The baby is a perfect mix of the two of them. Estefi clutches the baby to her breast and says, “you are my son, you are Javier Nicolás, my son. There’s a knock on the door. FELS comes in to Estefi’s room. Estefi shows him the baby and says, “look who’s here! It’s your uncle.


FELS sits down on Estefi’s bed and she shows him the baby. Estefi replies that this baby is everything to her. FELS says that he hopes the baby brings her the peace and happiness she has been seeking. She says that the baby needs his father, too, as does she. FELS asks if there is something that she isn’t telling him. He sees sadness and desolation in her eyes, which he wouldn’t expect on a day filled with new life. Estefi replies that she doesn’t know why she is sad. Maybe it’s because she is alone. FELS tells Estefi that she isn’t alone. She has him. He says that there are a thousand things he would like to tell her but he can’t right now. He didn’t come alone. Susana comes in. She congratulates Estefi on her baby.  She tells Estefi that Vic and Cobra’s baby was stillborn. “Poor mother,” says Estefi, “I can imagine her pain. There is no pain worse than the death of a baby.”


Asunción has come to see ORBO. She says that she wanted to see him but she is afraid.  Being back in this house has provoked many memories. ORBO says that Vic isn’t there and no one will talk about what happens between them. Asunción asks what will happen between them? “This,” says ORBO and kisses her.

Moto and Laz come home. The babysitter tells them that the children are asleep. The babysitter thanks Laz in a flirty way and after she leaves, Moto accuses Laz of having something going with the babysitter. He denies it. She says that the babysitter looked at him like a lover. “How do you look at me then?” asks Laz. I’m not your lover,” says Moto. Laz asks what they are then. Are they friends, companions, parents, roommates?

The Cobra wakes up. Vic is there looking grim. Cobra asks where her baby is. Vic says nothing. She says that she told Victor that she would kill him if he took her baby. Her baby is hers alone. “¿Dónde está?” “Where is he?” she asks again. Vic still says nothing. She presses the call button and the doctor comes in and asks what is going on. The doctor flashes back to holding Cobra’s baby that she just delivered. Estefi’s doctor comes in and asks if the baby is a girl or a boy. “Niño,” replies the doctor, “¿prescioso, no?” Estefi’s doctor says that the baby is not only cute, it may be their salvation. He says that he has a proposition for her. The two docs appear to have a more than professional connection since he calls her, “mi amor.”

Reina tells Emilia that a call was received from this bar saying that Navier had been seen there. Emilia replies that she has seen this man. Reina is excited until Emilia clarifies that she saw his picture when Reina was on TV.  Nav is watching through the window in the door to the kitchen.  “Are you related to him?” asks Emilia. “That’s a long story,” says Reina, “Díos mio, necesito encontrarlo,” “My God, I need to find him,” Reina says desperately. “Relax,” says Emilia. Reina says that she will leave her telephone number in case Emilia gets some information. Emilia says that she will call if she sees him. Reina says that her name is Reina Ortiz and, “that man is my love. I love him madly.” Emilia asks if Nav is her husband. Reina replies that he was, is, more than that. He is the love of her life. Emilia says that it is a strange story. A man that rich would just disappear and no one knows where he is. Reina agrees. She says that she will speak to Emilia from her heart because that is what she has to do. If Emilia has ever loved someone profoundly, she will understand. She will understand that she has to find this man because if she doesn’t, she will die. She will die without him. So if Emilia is hiding something, if she knows something, Reina begs for her help. She is desperate. She doesn’t know what to do.  Any little thing that Emilia knows would help. The call said that he was here. Maybe he was a customer…he might come back… Emilia interrupts and says that she has the phone number. If she sees him, she will call…Reina leaves.  

Moto and Laz are having sex when Moto gets a call. It’s FELS. He has news. She listens, hangs up and tells Laz about the live birth of Estefi’s baby and stillbirth of Cobra’s.

Esmeeth comes into Estefi’s room where she is still clutching that fake baby to her chest. Susana says that she didn’t want to leave before meeting the baby. Estefi tells her that the baby is identical to Navier and she is going to name him, Javier Nicolás. Estefi begs Esmeeth to find Navier. Her baby needs a father. They can start a new life. Esmeeth says nothing. Estefi says that her baby deserves that. FELS comes in. Esmeeth tells FELS that she is meeting her grandson. Estefi implores both of them to find Navier.

Navier goes back into the kitchen and gets the newspaper. Emilia comes in and tells him that Reina left. Nav asks if she left in a car. Emi thinks that she did. She asks if he is going to tell her what is going on – a dishwasher who is a multi-millionaire and for whom appeals are being made on television. She says that she didn’t say anything to Reina but someone will, because of the reward. Navier says that it’s evident that Reina came to the bar because someone called.  Emilia’s phone rings. She tells the person at the other end that she is leaving. An old friend of her father needs some help. Navier asks to borrow her computer so that he can continue his research. She gives it to him and asks from whom he is hiding. Navier says that is what he has to find out – who he is hiding from and who wants to catch him.

Vic comes into Estefi’s room. Felicitaciónes, mama,” he says. Estefi says that she is very happy. This baby is giving her a reason to live. She says that it is so different than the first time when he made her cry for a dead baby, when she suffered so much, thinking that she couldn’t even give life. When her world fell down around her. When she felt exactly what he is feeling at this moment. He asks to see the baby and says that he seems kind of big for a delivery at seven months.

Emilia’s Bar – You don’t seem that glad to see me
Reina is talking on the phone to Connie who tells her not to try to get back into the bar. She says it might be dangerous. Reina replies that she has a feeling about this place and is going back in. She tells Connie to take care of her daughter and she will take care of this and then hangs up on Connie. Reina is about to break the glass on the door to the bar when Nav comes up behind her with his gun. He asks why she is looking for him. What does she want from him? Reina runs to him, hugs and kisses  him, “Mi amor, mi amor,” she cries. She can’t believe that she found him after searching for so long. She asks where he has been all this time. What is he doing here? What did they do to him? Is he ok? No reaction from Navier. He tells her to come with him. They have to talk. Reina asks if he knows who she is. “Reina Ortíz,” replies Navier, “the woman who is offering $5 million for me and now you are going to tell me why.

ORBO and Asunción are putting themselves back together post sex. Asunción tells him that she has to go back. She is afraid that Victor will see her. ORBO says that he doesn’t think ORBO is coming back that night. The son that he wants so much is being born. Asunción asks how long he is going to stay in the De Rosas house. ORBO replies that he will stay until he finds out something about Navier or something about the damned list of agents that Esmeeth wants so much. Asunción is annoyed that he is thinking about Sara. ORBO says that Sara was a dream that kept him alive when he was locked up. “And me?” asks Asunción, “what am I to you?” “A hope,” replies ORBO, “the only one I have for my future life.” Asunción says that she always falls for the wrong guy. ORBO replies that he hopes neither of them is wrong.

Navier takes Reina into the kitchen. He says that he saw her on the television. “Then you know who I am,” says Reina holding his face in her hands. “You don’t remember anything?” she asks, “You don’t remember your name, your mother, your daughter…?” Navier pulls away from her. “Enough!” he says, “your questions make my head hurt.” “No recuerdas nada,” “You don’t remember anything,” says Reina sadly, “te borraran todo tu memoria.” “They erased all your memories.” She kisses him. Navier says even though Reina is a very attractive woman and has nice eyes, he doesn’t trust her.

Esmeeth’s apartment – Izzy has too much time on his hands
Connie has received a poem that she reads aloud. It is pure doggerel. Then her phone rings and it is her mystery caller. We see Isidro sitting in his cell at the CIA listening and smiling at her diatribe against the caller that concludes with a statement that she will only love one man and he is Isidro Castillo, en paz descanse.

The Cobra tells Christián that her life is over. Why did she lose her baby? Christián tells her that this is a tragedy that could have happened to anyone. Cobra asks if this is a punishment for her crimes. Christián tells her not to think about things like that. She should think about the future. She can have more children. She says that Victor only cared about this child (and the red diamonds). She wonders if what happened to her was because of the curse.

Laz and Moto are in bed. Laz is sleeping but Moto is awake. She flashes back to Izzy telling her how Vic told him to get rid of the baby. He couldn’t do it and decided the best place for the baby was with her father. One day he followed Laz and Moto and left the baby where they would find it. Izzy also tells Moto that to save his life, he had to tell Estefi that Agatha is Greta’s baby. End flashback.

Reina tells Navier to look at her and listen to her. He has to believe in her. She loves him. She would never do him harm because he is the love of her life. He is the father of her daughter. He is everything to her and she is everything to him. She knows that right now he is very confused. She tells him to look at her. She knows that his body remembers her, his heart remembers her. She knows this. There’s a noise. Navier grabs his gun and tells Reina to stay there. It’s the two loan shark muscle guys from before. Navier fights them but when he is knocked down, Reina holds one guy at knifepoint. When the guy gets free of Reina, Navier grabs him and Reina punches him. Navier says that Reina is an unusual woman. She replies that she has had an unusual life. Navier clarifies that he meant the way she defended him. She is obviously well trained, much more than a fashion designer would be. Reina asks how he knew that she was a fashion designer. He says that he saw her on the television. He still isn’t sure that he believes her but they do make a good team.

Hospital – Newsflash Cobra – Victor only thinks about business, power, money and vengeance, of course
Vic is talking on the phone in Cobra’s room while she sleeps. He says that his partner was murdered but he has he drug that the caller wants, that everyone wants. Cobra wakes up and asks Vic if he is working. She asks how in a moment of pain like this, he can think about business, power and money. Vic replies that he is thinking about those more than ever right now. Money saves him. Power saves him. Business saves him. Hate saves him. But more than anything, vengeance saves him.

Estefi has had Lopez 3.0 round up the two docs who did the baby switch. She says that this is a blood pact that they will have to take to the grave. If they keep their mouths shut, they will be millionaires. Male doc says that what they did has a very high price. They put their careers at risk. Estefi replies that she knows this. She is very generous. López will give each of them a sum of money that they have never seen before in their lives. She tells them that she has one more favor to ask them. She wants to say goodbye to her dead baby and cover it with kisses. She wants to ask the dead baby to be her guardian angel.

Juanjo and Susana have come home from the hospital. Susana says that feels sorry for Victor. JJ tells her that Victor deserves to suffer for all the suffering he has caused. She shouldn’t pity him. Susana agrees. She says that she doesn’t know how she fell in love with Victor but she knows how she fell in love with JJ. He changed her life. JJ tells her that he wants to go far away and asks if she will come with him. Cara de confusion de Susana who is obviously thinking about Greta and her baby.

Laz wakes up and sees Moto sleeping sitting up. He pulls her down to cuddle with him.  She murmurs in her sleep that she loves him.

Navier tells the two goons to get out and not come back. He tells Reina that is two less problems for this night. “And tomorrow” asks Reina. Reina tells Navier that he is coming with her. “Why?” asks Nav. “I’ll tell you why,” says Reina, “because I love you; because I need you; because I haven’t seen you in five months and I miss you. Even though you may not remember me, I am tattooed on your skin; because we have gone through many things together and I’m not giving up; because you are my man. They might have erased your memories, your past, your life but I am going to make your body remember who I am. She kisses him as their song swells. He pushes her away. She tells him that she knows he feels it. He hesitates a second and then kisses her. They have sex on the work counter of the bar’s kitchen– yuck!

Laz tells Moto that he has been thinking about them, their relationship, how everything has changed. Moto agrees that this is so. Laz says that he can’t continue this way. He says that maybe they should sleep in separate rooms but things have to change. “Whatever you want,” replies Moto. She asks why. What happened? He tells her that in her sleep, she said that she loved him. He doesn’t know if she feels the same when she is awake but he can’t continue. He doesn’t love her. He can’t love her.

Esmeeth is on the phone with ORBO. She thanks him for his cooperation. We see ORBO painting. He says that what he wants is to help her. She tells him that they couldn’t interrogate Vic because his baby died but she is glad that he is keeping them up to date. “For you, I will do anything. Whatever you ask,” says ORBO. Esmeeth thanks him and we see the canvas that he is painting – Esmeeth’s face covered in blood.

“Sangre, muerte, betrayal,” “Blood, death, betrayal,” says ORBO, “I am going to finish with your Sara, Jerónimo,”
We see Esmeeth and FELS kissing.
“I am going to finish with your love.” says ORBO.

Connie is asleep on the couch. Izzy comes in. He sits down and touches her leg. She wakes up and starts screaming.

Estefi is asleep with the baby in a cot next to her. “Mi bebé, mi hijo,” she mutters in her sleep. A shadowy figure comes into her room. It’s Victor. He picks up the baby and leaves.

”We just made love,” Reina says to Navier, “say something to me. I need you to say something to me at this moment” “Estuvo incredible.” It was incredible,” says Navier. “It was incredible? says Reina annoyed. “It was incredible as if I was just some random person? “I don’t remember,” says Navier, “but I felt that we connected. “We connected,” repeats Reina disgusted. Navier says that he feels like he has known Reina his whole life but he doesn’t remember. “Of course you’ve known me your whole life and you love me. You’ve saved my life so many times. You’ve loved me in spite of everything.” “In spite of what?” asks Navier, “tell me. I don’t remember anything. I assume there are a lot of things you could tell me. In spite of what” he asks again. Emilia comes back. Reina says that she can guess why Emilia lied to her. She wants to keep Navier for herself.  “Pero que cree. Ese muñequito tiene duena.” “But guess what. This dollboy is taken. Too bad for you. Lets go, mi amor. “You’re the one who’s going,” replies Navier. I’m staying with Emilia.
