♥ Mi Corazón es Tuyo #119, ♥ Lunes 1/5/15 ♥: Out in the Night
“Tell that woman I am not talking to her,” she demanded. Ramona looked like she knew there was a greater hell to come as this escalated to Isabrat pulling out the connection from the cable box to the monitor to kill the sound of the TV. Ramona watched helplessly as Yolanda began to cry in a way that could only have been for show.
Everyone stopped what he was doing and came out or down to the parlour. It was a girl band singing Alicia and Pablo's song.

The "princesa" thing doesn"t bother me. It just seems to be patt of the larger "mi reina", "mi rey", "mamacita" thing: Just a cultural thing.
I enjoyed:
Sebastián and Saraí practicing for the dance competition. They looked like two regular kids trying to put something together.
The twins and the airhorn, the bucket of water and water balloons.
The "serenata" and Ana trying to keep Fernando under control so Alivia could enjoy it and not have it cut short.
I was happy that Ana finally has a time set to tell Fernando the truth. I was disappointed at first that she was going to use Xmas as an excuse until she explained how bad the last kids Xmas had been with the death of their mother and she did not want to risk spoiling it for them.

Can we please vote Pablo off the island? What 15 year old girl would really be swooning over him? Whatever happened to that cute guy that was the leader of the hip hop group Sebas kept trying to crash? Seems like he and Alicia exchanged looks at least once, back at the beginning.
Will we ever get Manuela and Bruno back together? Is Sarai at the mansion as a permanent resident? What happened to the Enrique storyline?

Ok rant over, on to the recap before bed :)
I just know the writers will throw Johnny at Jens. Not a spoiler, just a guess.
Johnny is being thrown at Jen; note the shot in the opening credits that show a triangle of Johnny, Jen, and Nick.
Pablo is a dweeb. He's obviously well-connected to be able to bring a known band to serenade Alicia, but I agree that this gesture is over the top for a boy that age. What he needs is to lose that awful-sounding laugh and to get some sense of style going.
If the twins were his age I could see them being able to pull off a scene like this. Sorry if this sounds looksist, but it would be more believable.
I just read another newsflash that Osorio plans alternate endings with social media interaction. . .....please no! Can't these guys just pick a good ending and stick with it? Remember "Teresa" -- 3 different endings to choose from!
They have finally gotten Soledad into the mansion after more than 100+ episodes. That took long enough.
But for now, I am so disgusted with Don Nico, I hope he just stays in Europe. There is no excuse for the way he treated and stomped on Jennifer (her feelings that is) and worse, she is now vulnerable to goof ball, dimwit Johnny.
Gran Estreno de Kate del Castillo next week
The adult leads have barely touched each other and their most intimate chat happened in the jail cell with an audience. Ana & Diego were far more physically intimate than she and Fernando and I suspect the same between she and Angel.
Wow, Ana has no boundaries. Asking Angel intimate details of his life and relationship with his ex. Great for her to have a plan B, I guess.
So, Fernando will not be blind sided something amiss. He intuitively knew some barrier there and now heard Ana is hiding something from him.
I don't understand why Ana isn't discussing, with Soledad, an exit strategy from the club, unless she has no intention of leaving.
Kirby, Leon telling Fanny about Laura will be used as justification by Fanny for her flirtation. I love Fanny, and understand crushes while in a relationships do happen, but she could shut it down and won't. I kept thinking Lenin would text her while she was with Leon. Well, he probably did but her phone was off.
We're they trying to get me to be sympathetic toward Yolanda & Isabela with the disclosure Yolanda was beaten as a child? Didn't work. Also, cannot get my head around Isabela still being employed and have access to those kids.
How in the world does a 16 year old boy get a pop group, a stage & those outdoor heaters set up without anyone else knowing? Does he perform magic too?
He also reset her debt to the full amount way back. Illegal, but he's gotten away with a lot.
Therefore, unless Soledad has the money to free Ana from this bondage, there is no exit. Remember that Diego tried to buy Ana's way out and Dorofeo wouldn't take his money.
And I agree that this new disclosure about Yolanda's mother beating her doesn't make me any more sympathetic. I'm also not sure that Isabrat is telling the full truth about Yolanda verbally abusing her. If that were truly the case, why didn't she send her packing long before this?
Urban - For Americans, at least, calling a girl princessa conjures up fairytale stereotypes: helplessness, possessing above-average beauty, needing rescue by a prince (with a vine), confinement in towers(balcony), uselessness for anything except loving and living for a prince. So, yeah, the princessa theme bothers me.
Does blowing a horn THAT loud around a dog, who has extremely sensitive ears, bother anyone else? My poor dogs (2) and cats (2) went berserk when my smoke-alarm battery got low and the alarm beeped intermittently. I felt sorry for Siete.
I really enjoy Ana and Soledad's interactions. They actually resemble each other, don't they?
I had to chuckle at the scene in Edith's apartment. It appeared Leon spent hours and mucho dinero decorating, so he and Fannys could kiss and have one silly dance? I'm certain he planned for much more than that! (Did you notice the rose petals remained undisturbed on the bed?) And then she started to disassemble the decorations and prepare for her departure. He looked really disturbed at the end when he broached the topic of Laura, but I think it was because he expected much more intimacy from Fanny.
We never saw Edith's place before this, so did anyone else realize that it was likely the same set as Leon's previous place?
And it did bother me about the air horn near Siete. Poor baby.
what I loved and at the same time gave me the 'calm before the storm' feeling was Fernando arriving home and being happy for Sebastian's dancing with Sarai, then smiling at seeing Soledad helping Luz as caring and lovingly as Ana does, then being a great supportive dad for Alicia ... and then when the serenade came in, he was the jealous outraged dad but Ana's tap dancing and then her argument that it was a 'modern' serenade and that it was just Pablo's way to show his love for Alicia and that Alicia was happy, and that they (Ana and Fernando) should enable OUR kids to be happy...
Most of all Ana telling her mom that she did not want to make it a hurtful christmas for the kids by spilling the beans and letting all he__ break loose by then, and promising Jesus and Soledad that she would tell Fernando the whole truth on or around Jan 2nd...
anyone want to bet that Isa or someone will make all he__ break loose maybe not before new year but before ANa has a chance to package it in her own way??
yikes!! but at least we are watching samples of what life after the storm could be there.
I don't want Gustavo to come back, don't we remember that he used to treat Fanny nasty and if i remember correctly he cheated on her and this is why they broke up??
each twin had a red bucket. one ahd water, the other had the water filled ballons... and one balloon hit Pablo right THERE! LOL
I just need to know if anybody else feels disturbed by the fact that the kids in this TN are getting more action than the actual romantic leads?
yeah i feel the same way... but just be patient.
I am heartily going to agree on being a little frustrated that the kids are having these experiences knowing full well that Osorio claims he is aiming this at a younger audience as well. That serenade last night was the last straw for me. If that was Nando spending the money to do it to someone, I would back off. But an under 16 year old?? Wonderful lesson...money talks? Maybe that's the draw for Alicia? (Still think he's meant to be a young version of Johny--and we're supposed to be endeared to him because of that).
As for the whole money speaks: Leon. He finally has a good job and is making headway and he blows it on a bunch of stuff for a whatever that was last night for Fanny. Really?? So again, we show that that you need to spend bucks to impress your girl. THAT bothers me. At least Nando so far is about support and caring and not going for the showy stuff. So far....
Don't like the princess stuff, but this is hallmark of Osorio TN's with the young girls. I don't like this idea period of everyone, including kids, having to be hooked up with someone to be happy or cool, but he always does that and likes to make his female characters come off as damsels in distress, aka princesses.
I'm sorry--I've had it with the twins. I had twins...no way, no how is that funny or acceptable anymore. I know it's for the show, but it's wrong. As they age, do their pranks get more serious or nasty? Fer was dead wrong to not punish them.
Oh, Ana. So I'm guessing we have her "confession" pushed out what, two weeks or so? Lot could happen. And Fer, if we are past her calling him Boss or Senor, can she stop wearing a uniform? Just wondering....
Angel needs a hug...I'll volunteer

Wonderful! Is this the first time that the goddesses have mentioned their interaction with Fanny Sr., or did I miss something? Brilliant touch.
My favorite parts were small things that made me smile. I liked the interaction between Soledad and Ana when Soledad did the little good luck routine, putting her finger behind her own ear instead of Ana's. Clearly, for all of her years in prison, Soledad remains a "lady" compared to our girl of the streets, Ana.
I also enjoyed the three girls -- Sarai, Alicia and Luz -- swaying to the music on the balcony. Nice touch.
I couldn't agree more about the kids in this novel playing roles that are far too advanced in the romance area.
The Sarai connection remains a mystery. I was trying to establish a time line while Angel talked with Ana about his marriage. My cable kept going in and out with the weather. My theory was that Magda, his wife, lied about the abortion, wanting to get out of the relationship. (I borrowed this silly plot from another novel!) She went on to have the baby after marrying someone else. But I couldn't figure out whether the timeline worked given that Sarai must be about 10 or 11.
Isa trying to ruin Sebs dance competition is ridiculous. For someone with a full time, prestigious job, and a baby on the way, she needs to get a life!
Tired of Fanny, Leon, Nando and Edith. Still love the twins, even when they are being totally bad. Miss Luz.
I wonder if Isa will look up dance on her tablet, like Sebs did, and find out about Ana's dancing that way?
I remember another blogger saying once "be wary if specific times are given". Ana giving a specific day of when she tells Fer doesn't bode well.
One of the things I'd been thinking about since Televisa no longer produces novelas for children and teens is how they deploy the actors of those ages. Who are barely allowed to be children.
Luz and the twins are allowed to be kids 90% of the time while Sebas and Alicia are being accelerated so that they're where Nando should be. I think this series airs at 6:30PM in Mexico so it needs to be somewhat kid-friendly. We're getting it at 8PM because of the adult stars.
I think the “princessa” thing is cute. I think it was to show Sarai that she is wanted and loved in that household. I feel like it would be the same as us calling our kids “honey” or “sweetheart”.
Been meaning to mention this: one of the twins is taller. Not sure which one yet. When I figure it out I’ll be able to tell them apart—when they’re standing together.
UA-thanks for the recap and letting us know that Aphrodite was working with Estefania to bring Ana to her family.

Question will be when her selfish parents decide she can come "home" to whichever wins her...or maybe it will be like Robo where Nadia and Adolfo's parents went off to Europe never to be heard from again. I can see her staying with the family, but kind of that gives me sort of a weird vibe if she stays to grow up with the family and at the same time is sweet on Sebas. Okey dokey then.

So, Edith's amigos convinced her to report Gabri-hell's activities to the police, but first Fanny and Leon go to Edith's apartment for romance and Edith and Nando need to watch The Big Bang Theory? What?! Maybe they'll get around to reporting him tomorrow.
Of course, that could still change. I wonder how old these two kids are. The characters are supposed to be 8 years old but to me the boys look between 6 and 7.
Must correct the comment above; it airs at 8:25 in Mexico. I must need more caffeine.
And that Sebas still can't dance. And his little girlfriend is as bad as he is.
What with all that??

And who could forget tofie's one-liner towards La Gata
Pablo- impotent and having a little pee pee is not the same thing
I'm afraid I would be charged with child abuse dealing with the shenanigans of the twins, funny for us, not funny for their victims. In the non-novela world, it could be a huge problem as they mature.
Pls introduce Jen to Angel, I'm sure we are going there. Don't she & Nico have to get a divorce? Uh oh, I think it might be, adios Nico.
I got to the X site, the site said gaymas. It did not show his face attached to the other body parts.
You can't be too careful these days.
She will never be accepted at any decent one and if she is, nobody will take her seriously after finding those videos and photos.

There's no moral turpitude clause in law. All the ethics are directed toward putting the clients' interest first, but except not sleeping with a client, (or the judge, juror, witness,or, probably, opposing counsel) where it might affect representation, not much about sexual morality in it.
Don't know what someone with porn background who graduated in top of the class at a top school might face in the way of hurdles to get a job, but unless she's at the top of the top, it won't be an issue.
If she's bright enough to finish at the top of the class, she's probably got a story about overcoming adversity or maybe one about conducting experiential sociological research or something.
