Acacia's betrayal becomes worse each episode! She has disrespected her mother and her mother's house in so many ways.

No great escape today, but they were this close. At least Uli has a lot more info and some actual proof now.

Truth, Tears and Treachery

Part 1
Este brazenly enters Acacia’s room as he fondles the buttons on her already open blouse while she breathily demurs. Both are on fire and lost in each other. You are precious he lasciviously murmurs and hands Acacia the necklace he bought for her. She clutches it to her bosom. While Acacia and Esteban are breathing heavily, and as she returns Este’s kisses with equal ardent fervor, unconcerned that they are close to crossing yet another line in her mother and his wife’s house, Cris gently knocks on the door as she grasps the handle. Cris enters and once again asks for her forgiveness as Este buttons his shirt as Acacia, still panting heavily, looks nervously around looking like the guilty, treacherous daughter that she is. She manages to get Cris out the room.

Ale calls Uli and tells him to come and see her as Perla is on her way to see him. Next, Ale runs upstairs and alerts Estrella to be ready to run at a moment’s notice – get dressed, get in bed and wait for Ale to tell her to fly.

Katia welcomes Perla and hands her a mountain of paperwork much to Perla’s dismay. As Katia reads the voluminous material, Perla is falling asleep. She is roused as she reads Juli Jr.’s text, alerting her of Dan’s arrival and rushes out. Katia then texts Uli.

Acacia and Cris discuss Esteban as German shows up. Cris warmly congratulates German on his upcoming wedding. Preoccupied Acacia does so as well but not as enthusiastically as after all, it does not involve her.

Juli Junior’s smile lights up the room as she greets Uli, who quickly requests coffee. Ale appears, grief stricken as she starts to recount her heartbreaking past with Danilo. The many brief scenes include Danilo grabbing her by the arm when she was “bought”, leaving his intention as to what he would do to her painfully apparent. She recalls comforting her dying brother and Danilo carving her face after she tried to escape. Uli listens stoically. She then recalls fleeing with the suitcase and then fearing for her life, flushing the drugs down the toilet. Ale tells of meeting Acacia who welcomed her in as a friend and how she became part of Cris’ family. She tells how Dan found her and threatened her. She speaks of her current situation with Estrella and Juli. He hugs her and tries to comfort her. She hands Uli the tapes just as Dan shows up with the drug dealing henchman. Dan looks angry and Uli and Ale try and divert suspicion discussing the check. He doesn’t look like he is buying it. Ale tries to smile at the drug dealing guy. Dan and Uli talk as Ale watches nervously. Dan calls her back with a disdainful look on her face. Perla arrives and as Dan starts menacing her, Ale shows up and pretends to throw another jealous hissy fit which momentarily diverts him. Perla calls Memo.

Ale tells a distraught Estrella she cannot escape now. Estrella is crestfallen.

German and Acacia talk as Este is in the background distracting Acacia. I believe Acacia tells him Ale is content with Danilo. He wishes Acacia the best. They also discuss Andres and Uli. Acacia’s attention is elsewhere and she leaves abruptly. Alejandra he mutters mournfully to Acacia’s retreating figure.

Part 2

Juli shows up to flirt with Norberto for money. Her ploy is fruitless and he throws her out.

Out in the barn (where all illicit rendezvous take place), Acacia and Este meet again. Acacia again reiterates how nervous she is but allows Este to hug and paw her. Oh, and she is wearing his necklace of shame as they kiss. He later corners her in the den as she is going over papers, leaning in, whispering poisonous sweet nothings. Cris once again enters and infuriatingly senses nothing wrong. Again. I believe Cris tells Acacia she has made her a partner in her latest business venture.

Dan shows up at the hacienda with Ale in tow. As Acacia tries to take her away, Dan leaps up and roughly grasps her arm but releases her under Acacia’s steady gaze. Acacia tells Ale what is going on with Este as Ale stares almost disbelievingly. Ae brings up Uli as Cris comes in. Dan sidles up to Este on the coach asking if he and Acacia have ended their relationship and trawls for gossip. Cris serves drinks. As Ale goes with Acacia to see Luisa, Dan starts screaming for Ale! Cris asks what the heck is wrong? He apologizes and says he reacted because he thought German was there. Cris says he isn’t at home and eyes him with a bit of an alarmed look. Creepy Este feels Acacia up under the table. Manuel breaks up the festivities and perches himself on Acacia’s chair. German shows up and Danilo takes the opportunity to heap further misery onto both German and Ale by offering a toast to the future bridegroom. Ale stares down and while German clicks glasses, he makes it a point not to drink anything. If looks could kill, Este would be a dead man. (what a shame that did not occur). German then bids a hasty goodbye. Manuel shares some news – can someone elaborate? Away, Este grabs Acacia yet again, kissing her hair… Once again, there is a narrow escape as Cris arrives, misinterpreting Este’s frustration once again.

Uli and Arturo talk about Dan and the fact there is no evidence against him. They watch the tape of Norberto shaking their heads in disbelief.

Ale and Acacia visit Luisa (who is still on bed rest) and Ale offers her words of love and encouragement.

Hector calls Uli (thank heavens!) and Uli starts to fill him in.

Juli and Norberto pay a visit to Manuel and Juli returns the money. Manuel thanks Norberto (pointedly calling her “Juli”) as Juli tears up in the background. Norberto taunts her about losing her family as Juli clenches her fists and stalks off. Norberto doesn’t look victorious, he simply looks serious. Later, it appears Norberto and Juli are urging him to go after Acacia. Can someone fill in here?

Estrella cries she misses her family as Dan barges in and sees them hugging. As she is fully dressed, Dan thinks she is recuperated and ready to “work”.

Thinking she is alone (at last) in her bedroom, Acacia starts undressing. Her solitude is quickly interrupted as Este comes in, shirt unbuttoned. My love he says. They kiss passionately. The yearning and lust are readily apparent as he leads her to the bed. He starts to lay her down. What transpires thereafter is left to our imagination. And disgust.

Vivi, I totally agree with your comments, particularly regarding Danilo's unwarranted and off kilter response to Ale going to see Luisa. Of course Este is concerned only with himself so likely forgot the incident immediately afterward. Cris seemed alarmed but Dan has managed to charm his way out of things before so..

So there was no chopping? I'm glad but felt this was very fast paced ad it was very difficult for me to try and keep up due to my lack of language skills.

It would be wonderful if all of the remaining episodes air. I'm crossing my fingers.

I literally willed myself to stay awake and I did! Now, let's hope I can get up early in the AM for work.

Diana..EXCELLENT, amiga!! I agree. It was very fast paced, but if it was chopped, I didn't feel it or see it.

The only thing that didn't seem to fit was we go from Norb telling Juli to look at what she has become to a few scenes later, the two are toasting, etc in front of Manuel. Seemed like some continuity was lost there.

So, German really DOES love Ale. How wonderful that both Uli and Art feel that German has to know the truth about what happened to Ale. I hope they can get through to him and make him listen.

Acacia and Esteban literally made me feel ill at the end there. That is not the most private of bedrooms. I cannot believe what they are doing in Cris' home.

Hector will be back and I hope he saves the day!

I wish Uli & Art would turn over the evidence (all of it) Ale provided instead of playing cop themselves, now getting German involved along with Hector.

Fatima it did seem to jump when we first see Norberto forcing Juli to give Manuel the check, Manuel calling her Juli, Norberto warning Manuel he would give him no more money but make him proud and Manuel running off to tell Acacia. Then after Manuel returns, Norberto & Juli toasting their plans would come to fruition. She knew, and just told Norberto, Acacia's name was on the textile business, something Manuel had just found out himself from Acacia.

Este and Ack are getting more and more careless as Cris continues to be clueless. Sometime, people do not see what they do not want to see. That seems to be the case with Cris, It also seems that Ale is in more danger from Dangerous Dan. What a sorry pair Dan and Este are. I want them revealed and punished. Karma, where are you ? Hectior, where are you ? Off to babysit. Yawn
 

Most excellent, Diana! Thanks for switching nights and doing this last minute.

Here are some additional clarifying notes:

Acacia told German that she wanted to be the one to tell Ale about he upcoming wedding. German said that Ale wouldn't care, but Acacia says Ale really cares for him. First he says he wants to hear nothing about her, then changes his mind and says he loved her greatly, wants nothing to bad to happen to her, and asks Acacia to take care of her and watch out for her on his behalf. He says Andres told him the first love is the hardest to forget and so it is with Ale. Andres also told him some loves are worth recuperating, and German thinks this is the case of Acacia and Uli. He sees how unhappy Acacia is, despite what she says. German loves Acacia and wants her to be happy.

German has found an apartment in the middle of town and will be moving out. He gave Cris some money from his recent sales.

Dan came back early (I wonder why) with armed Efrain, just as Ale was about to write down her email and password and then get Estrella. Uli almost mentioned he was there about giving Perla a check and Ale quickly covered. Uli then made up a story about needing to see the check stub of Dan's check.

Uli doesn't want to turn in the video of Norb because it would affect Manuel and by extension Acacia. Art does not agree. Uli wants turn in the other video and whatever Ale has in her email, as soon as he gets her password.

Acacia was shocked Cris is making her Este's partner and was upset it was Etse's idea, but Este motioned for Cris to not reveal that and she said it was all her idea.

Dan said he called the doctor and he said Estrella is all better. Time to get to work!
 

Norb forced Juli to give Manuel the money back. Then he got tough with Manuel and told him that's all the money he is getting. It's up to him to take the money, find a new location, set up his biz, and make it a success. No more coddling from Norb.

That's why Manuel went to Benavente so excited and both he and Acacia spoke about their new business adventures. He wants Acacia to help him find a new locale.

Meanwhile, Juli has also found out about Acacia's new biz adventure, and has reported this to Norb. That's why he was happy enough to share a glass of wine with her. They bond over their mutual goal to marry Manuel to Acacia, and celebrate that even more of Cris's fortune has already gone directly into Acacia's hands.

In the kitchen, Acacia tells Ale that she tried to trap Este and ended up falling into the trap herself. She speaks of her intense feelings for Este, and Ale tells her it's nothing more than passion and desire, and to put a stop to it.

In Luisa's bedroom, Ale asks why Ale didn't tell her from before that Luisa was pregnant. Ale says it wasn't her secret to tell. She tells Luisa not to marry Art if she doesn't want to (knowing the truth about the real father)- Luisa is not the first or the last single mother, and Ale thinks she can do it.
 

Oh, Acacia and Este argued in the hallway because she was ticked that he fondled her under the table, and he was ticked that she was going out with Manuel.

Now for my comments:

I'm so glad that Hector has finally contacted Uli. Time for that boy to get some legal counsel and find out how to get Ale, Estrella, and even Juli Jr. and Perla out of there. Although, I'm sure Ale will find a way, somehow, to get Estrella out of there before Dan puts her to work.

I still wonder why Dan came back early. Does he suspect something?
 

Typo above: Acacia asks Ale why she didn't tell her about Luisa's pregnancy.

Now, with all of the secrets Ale is keeping for Acacia, she has a nerve asking that. Would she want Ale telling Luisa that she's playing paddy cake with her stepdaddy? I think not.

I share your joy that finally, we have confirmation (which we've had in our hearts) that German still loves Ale.

I am also nervous about Uli and Arturo playing with fire as they are out of their league. I feel slightly better Hector is involved. If German learns the truth about what Danilo did to Ale, he will go ballistic. That in itself is not a bad thing but Satan (Danilo) is too quick and cunning and I fear that would end in tragedy.

I especially appreciate your translating the German/Acacia conversation so fully. How sad that all the people who love and care about Acacia and Uli are still rooting for their reconciliation. Little do they know of Acacaia's extracurricular activities with her mother's husband. Grim indeed.

With her own safety and life in grave jeopardy, only Ale could continue to care about others and their welfare in such a kind, caring manner "She tells Luisa not to marry Art if she doesn't want to (knowing the truth about the real father)- Luisa is not the first or the last single mother, and Ale thinks she can do it".

Of course Luisa can do it on her own. And, if she doesn't come to love Arturo, she should. Us wanting her to be with him is not enough. He deserves more than to be with someone who likes but not loves him.

Vivi, I have a gnawing suspicion that Dan does suspect something as well. His gut instinct is telling him something is amiss. How right he is.

He is evil and insane. A lethal combination. I am very worried about Ale, Estrella and yes, even Juli and Perla.

How very true! I keep trying to put myself in her place and see things through her eyes. Am I being too hard on her or is she merely seeing the world through rose colored glasses!

I mean, after all, Acacia is her daughter, right? And what loving daughter would even think of betraying their mother in such a manner?! She is suspicious Este was/is in love with someone else and should have stayed true to that instinctual thought.

Cris is an intelligent woman. Where in the heck is her radar?! Her daughter is all over the place emotionally and she doesn't see it?! Somebody lift the veil off her eyes, please, please, please.

Diana, I DO suspect that Danilo thinks something is up. This man is a very dangerous time bomb. His madness makes him have ESP about things.

Right now, I fear for Perla. Danilo is a brutal man. He is going to take a few people down before he goes down himself.

I actually could not watch some of the scenes last night because they were nail biters!

I don't know if I could manage another late night tonight, but I might give it a go.

Cris does know that there is something going on with Acacia and keeps asking her what is wrong. But I honestly don't see why she would jump to the conclusion that her daughter and husband are having an affair.
 

I think the only thing the writers didn't bother to show us last night was Juli finding out and telling Norb about Cris investing in the textile business in Acacia's name, and them opening the bottle of wine. Not really needed since we know how those two operate and what turns them on-- the opportunity to get their hands on more money (Juli) and to grow the family wealth and prestige (Norb). Both think this can be done through an Acacia-Manuel union. Juli told Norb that her telling him this proves her loyalty lies with the family-- so I guess that's what she's going to work to prove now.
 

I wouldn't expect her to jump to an affair conclusion, Vivi, but I would expect her to see that Acacia's replies to her questioning is "not quite right".

More importantly, I think she should question Esteban more than she does. In some ways, Acacia is the secondary issue. Esteban is the real threat.

Every time she pushes and questions Acacia she freaks out, evades, lies, runs away. What else can she do, except get sneaky and just start snooping? And Cris isn't a snooper. She's direct.
 

The possibility of Esteban having another woman has come up, Acacia herself, mentioned it, but Esteban is now in the house right under Cris's nose so how would he have the time for a dalliance unless it was with some of the hired help or her own daughter, so no reason for Cris to suspect anything. How would any mother make the leap their daughter is fooling with the man she loves.
 

True, Tofie. Ever since Este came back, he hasn't left that hacienda or made any mystery calls or sent any mystery emails. If Cris suspected before that he was seeing someone, he has given her no cause to think he is now since they got back together. Yep. Only way he would be fooling around would be if he were fooling around with someone in the house/hacienda. And no way would Cris suspect that.
 

I cannot believe how bold and reckless Estupido is being ...going into aack's room, groping her under the table. Well, I guess I can believe it because he thinks that he is golden and cannot be caught. I think that he actually likes the risky business he is in with Ack. He thinks that he can do Whatever he wants right under Cris's nose. Delusional beast. I wonder what kind of anvil is hovering over that big head.

I will be very unhappy if Ack gets Uli as a lovely parties g gift after her playing footy with stepdad all this time. Girl needs an anvil, too.
 

I wonder if someone is going to die trying to save someone from someone. It does not look good for Perla or Memo.

So the push is still on to take over control of Rancho Benavente but things are now a little more complicated with changing wills and business contracts and all.

DanEvil now knows that Estrella has recovered and is ready for work. Not much time for Ale to get her out of the hellhole. Not easy for either Perla or her/Ale to get out either.

Uli and Arturo have the dvd's but
do not want to reveal Norbie. So are they going to sit on the evidence? When will Hector get back?

Yes, Dan knows that there is something amiss. The pins and needles just don't go away from this novela.

I think that the only way Cris will fnd out about Este and Ack is if she herself actually catches them making out. Cris thinks others, especially the two oeople she loves the most are as honorable , loyal, and trustworthy as she is. Good people often never suspect that others might be lying or doing something bad.

No, Ale isn't Juli Jr. Juli Jr. is the young woman who lives at Danilo's - Norberto's companion. Her name is Juli also and I add "Jr." to distinguish between her and the other Juli, Norberto's wife. :)

Gringo- Uli wants to sit on the Norberto dvd, but plans to turn over the other one and whatever Ale has in her email account. Art thinks the Norb dvd should be handed over too. They need Hector! How fast can he get back from Italy?
 

I erased my recordings of this show, but I think that the other DVD was of Licensio Somebody...some important guy that Dan thought he could blackmail.

When you think about it, Cris is in the dark about almost everybody. Besides not realizing that her daughter and hubby are hot for each other, she does not seem to be aware that Norb and Juliana are trying to get her ranch . Also, she has no idea that Dan is a pimp holding Ale prisoner or that her foreman Rubio has been eavesdropping on everyone and being paid for information by three bad dudes. She also does not know that Luisa is pregnant by Manuel. Talk about being completely in the dark about what is happening around you.
 

The only person in the know about practically EVERYTHING is Alejandra. She not only knows that Luisa is pregnant, she knows who the daddy is and that he thinks she had an abortion. She knows all of Dan's dirty biz and that he was behind Uli's kidnapping. She knows about the affair Acacia is having with Este. She knows Norb is a regular at the brothel and friends with Dan from way back. She knows Rubio reports in to Dan.
 

VIvi..yes, Ale seems to be the one person who knows everyone's secrets because everyone confides in her. I hope that she survives. I wonder if all the good folks will survive or if one or more innocents will be lost before the finale.

Last night I found myself screaming out loud: Where is Cris?!! I want Este and Ack to get busted beyond anything they could possibly imagine. Ack is now almost as insane as Este with her "Come close/get away from me" routine. I have no sympathy for her at all.

What a mess Acacia has become. I don’t see how she can look herself in the mirror after this. This is so much worse for her than it is for Esteban, as he gives not one twit about hurting Cris, JC, Elenita, etc. and being viewed as a pariah as long as he gets money/property. Acacia will have to live down this betrayal for the rest of her life. As much as she annoys me, I still feel sorry for her. She was no match for Este’s years of experience manipulating. Acacia, at the very least, ya’ll could have done the deed off your mama’s property. Will you wash the sheets yourself, or let Rosa do it?

Uli is the one I’ve fallen for. You know he’s thinking holy s@#! with all Ale told him. I loved that he looked stoic, instead of, unintentionally, giving a eeeoooh! look. I believe he kept himself in check not only because there’s danger but also cause he didn’t want to make Ale feel like a freak. Her fear has always been that German wouldn't be able to accept her having been a prostitute even though she was forced into it.

It must be a little relief to Ale to let someone else in on all the terror she’s been living. She was so mistaken early on to not confide all to Cris, instead of telling that simpleton Acacia.
I totally get Cris not zooming in on the thing between Acacia and Este. With Acacia’s history, most would think she’s still whining over Uli or anxious about starting college or just has a pain-in-the-a$$ personality.

ITA Danilo’s spidey senses are tingling. He’s being too nice to Perla for me. But Danilo, pounce on Este any time you like.
 

In fact, she was oblivious that Alfonso was hiding their true financial situation.

I love her strong kind character, but I guess thats why I get upset becsuse I cant stand to see how little Estupido and Estpida Hija think of her. They are blatantly disrespecting het at ever single layer.

Yay, pardon me but I am excited that my comments are not being rejected today, to Lizzy's credit. Since she initially turned down ring from German because she didn't want it to be because Getman was trying to appease her father. I dont think her charscter would allow her to stay w him if she finds out Getman is STILL in love w Ale. Very very refreshing from usual novela fashion to pregnant to keep the man you live. She even said that even if her mom is dying she wont marry him Fir erong readon. She loves him unconditionally, she dont need rings or big wedding,
she is cool, but I dont think it will work as long as Ale had G's heart.

Ack is old enough to know right from wrong as I am sure her parents and grandparents taught her and also to know that one must sometimes resist temptation anyway one can If another would be hurt if you succumb to that temptation, That's what people with ethics do. Everyone is tempted at times , but some are strong enough to resist the temptation to spare others emotional or physical harm. I have no sympathy for spoiled, selfcenteredness Ack at this point. I am really tired of the catch me don't catch me game that she and Este have been playing. At this point, I wish those two careless hearts would just do the deed and make it final that they are both to blame. I am so done with Este and Ack. I cannot wait for Ack to discover that she has been playing fast and loose with not only her mother's husband but also her father's killer. Live with that, honey. You have repeatedly and knowingly stabbed the mother who loves and supports you in the back. Shame on you. However, Cris wil forgive you and blame Este because mothers who love their children unconditionally always forgive their children no matter what they have done or how much they have hurt them.
 

I'm back! Okay, where do I start? I'm glad Ale told Uli everything and I'm even more glad that Uli was finally able to get ahold of Hector. Thank goodness.

Esteban really needs to control himself and I don't just mean that in the sense that he was in Ack's room at the end of the episode but also he needs to control his jealous feelings. Ack has the right to have friends that are guys. Anyway like Ack said, Manolo is her best friend.

Dan really likes embarassing Ale whenever German is around. Luckily German kinda ignored Dan. German needs to know what's going on. It's obvious that his feelings for Ale won't go away.

I think eventually Luisa will have to tell Ack that Manuel is the father of her child. The secret also puts Ale in a tough situation because she knows the truth.

I really hope Este and Ack don't go all the way.

Chris watch out, now that you have confirmed and refused to change the will…you could be next.
You can almost see the dollar signs in Esteban’s eyes except of course when he is stalking Ack.

Juliana wanting to throttle Norberto was classic.

 

Things to be revealed in the next two weeks:

-Dan’s criminality (prostitution, human trafficking, child sex trafficking, drugs, murder, kidnapping)
-Ale’s past and present predicament (how will it affect German and Lizzy?)
-Luisa’s pregnancy by Manuel (the Palacios family is going to be thrown into a huge tizzy!)
-Manuel’s skeletons (supporting his parents’ demand that Luisa get an abortion; knowing about Uli’s kidnapping; knowing that Norb caused the bodega fire—Acacia, Cris, and German will be so disappointed)
-Este’s evil/madness (murder; knowing about Uli’s kidnapping and intercepting his SOS letter; murderous obsession with both Cris and Acacia)
-Norb’s crime connections (kidnapping, crop destruction, arson, soliciting prostitutes)
-Acacia’s betrayal of Cris (this will destroy Cris, Elena, and JC)

Quite an episode last night. I still don't see how they will cram everything in the next 2 weeks.

Susanlynn, ITA with your summary of Acacia. I feel the same way. She has had several opportunities to get out of these encounters with Este. When he strolled into her bedroom, she just kept telling Este to stop and leave when he was close to her and turning her on. Why didn't she leave? Instead of asking Este to stop, or to leave her room she could have easily walked away herself. Problem is she likes the temptation and she likes giving in. That is her greatest sin. Giving into Este. Because let's face it, she likes Este and is very attracted to him and always has been. Remember how jealous she got when Cris and Este were going to marry in the church? She is just not being honest with herself. She did not need to prove anything to Cris when Este moved back to the hacienda. She could have gone to her mother and confessed what had been going on between her and Este while he had moved out. There was no need for further proof. In fact, Acacia's making it worse by fooling around with Este in her mother's house. Not that it was any better, but at least before they were outside the property. Anyway, sorry about my long rant. I could say so much more but I am tired of talking about Ack!

One more thing. I really don't want Uli to take Acacia back. He is such an awesome guy. He deserves so much better.

I also really like Arturo. He is so sweet and sexy too. Those eyes of his would make me melt.

Much more to say, but I gotta get back to work.

AuntyAnn...I agree that Uli and Arturo are both great guys. Carmen and their father raised two fine men who are honorable, responsible, empathetic. and caring. So what happened to Ack ? She had loving parents snd grandparents, but perhsos they all spoiled her. I guess the other thing that happened to Ack was Este. He can really wheel and deal . He managed to get Cris and the hacienda and become a big, respected landowner , and now he is trying his hardest to close the deal with the sweet , young thang. Who will finally unmask him , or will he be his own undoing ? He has gotten very arrogant and reckless. I will be very disappointed if the writers fail to reveal that he is a murderer. Sometimes, writers do not uncover all the secrets that the audience know to the characters.
 

TF, I totally agree that Manuel being the father of Luisa's baby will need to come out. As others have said, he doesn't want Luisa but is fiercely jealous of anyone else doing so. When he realizes Arturo has stepped up - he may have a change of heart.

I only hope he has it for the right reasons!

Like tofie, I felt it was hard to "deal" with but you are spot on! She has always been attracted to Este which is why she is experiencing a surge of triumph in that he now prefers her over Cris. And you are so right - she had many chances to nip things in the bud but she is weak. Among many other things.

Susanlynn, so many children would give anything to have had the life Acacia has led. Indulged, loved, cherished - she had her mother, Elena and JC.

As Vivi noted, all will be crushed when Acacia's loathsome actions come to light.

I still think Rubio will end up telling that Este murdered Alonso - so much is tied into that plot, especially the fact his murderer married his wife and seduced his daughter. Ack.

Vivi, I am most anxious as to who and how Ale's past with Dan will be revealed, particularly to German.

I am assuming Dan will die - no spoiler - this is simply TN justice!

I think he will be shocked but his love for her is immense and fervently hope he will help her heal in love, support and understanding.

With this one I hope we don't get the typical TN wrap ups and ok if things are left hanging. I haven't read the play this is based upon (will when this is over and surmise liberties likely taken) but many don't have happy endings but intend to make us think. I know this TN so far has.
 

Vivi, I like your soothing comments/ recaps. Thanks. Anyway, I too am so done about this dirty business of Esteban and Acacia. Especially seeing the advances that they will do the "deed" indeed! My heart really goes out to Chris. What an ultimate betrayal. I am still sticking to my wish that the ending for this two id that they fall off a cliff together.
I was wondering, Didnt Esteban indirectly ordered Rubio to make Uli disappear? would this also come into light as the story comes to an end?
At that point where Acacia was still saying no to his hot kisses. why can't She ran to her grandparents and Chris and tell them this dirty evil man is making a pass on her. Now that they're about to do the deed and that she wore his necklace, she is now also like him, perverse and amoral and not a victim that she can claim. I want a big anvil for these two!!!!

I am finally watching this episode. Even though I was trying to watch while making dinner , I noticed that Dan looked very suspicious when he walked in and saw Uli. I think that he suspects that Uli is the one who went to the police, Also, his henchman was standing next to Dan with his hand on the gun tucked in his waist...yikes. He did not even try to hide it.

Also, it was muy creepy watching that scene in the living room with the three women and Dan and Este. The three women are being controlled and manipulated be these two Devils.
Once again, Cris walked in on a conversation in which Ack was whining about her "situation" with Este, but once again Cris did not hear anything .
 

Anne- Este wasn't actually behind Uli's kidnapping, but he THOUGHT he was. Norb and Manuel also wanted Uli to disappear, and they beat Este to the punch. Rubio, being in the center of it all, took credit with Esteban for using his connections to make Uli disappear-- kidnapped and taken across the border. Pretty funny that Este thought he was the one pulling the strings on that caper. So the intent to have Uli kidnapped was definitely there. Poor Uli to have so many people gunning for him. Thank goodness Hector came into his life, and that his mama is a lioness when it comes to protecting her kids, and had Andres there to back her up.
 

I noticed that Acacia just chose to ignore when Ale straight up told her she was basically just in heat and it wasn't "love" she was feeling for Esteban. She's going to keep trying to fool herself that she's betraying her mama simply to play hot hands with Este, and not because she is being driven by any deep or lasting emotion.
 

Hub is watching the episode with me, and I was explaining that Este is the step daddy as he went into her bedroom AGAIN ..this time when she was blouse less. Hub's comment shows a mike perspective ..., "Guy has more guts than brains." That says it all. Este seems to like the risky business,

That argument Ack and Este had in the hall was loud, and Cris came around the corner while they were yelling. Then, Ack scurries away , and Este then embraces the mother. Ewww
 

Whoops.".male" not " mike.".....but his name is Mike...ha...so I guess it is a mike perspective.
 

Susanlynn- We appreciate Mike's male perspective. :) Hope he watches again with you. Wish this show was on earlier. Eagerly waiting for it to come on in 3 hours!

Thank your husband for the 'male' perpective. When my husband walks in, he asks "is he with the mother again, or still after the daughter?"

Great conversation and comments all around for this episode. I just hope they don't cut out too much out of the remaining capitulos.

I forgot to mention that I think the writers are starting to attempt a reconciliation between Acacia and our beloved Uli. I thought it odd that out of the blue German told Acacia that a love like the one she had with Uli was worth fighting for. I have a feeling this is the writers way of introducing the audience to the possibility of an Acacia/Uli reunion. She DOES NOT deserve him. PUNTO!

AuntyAnn...I agree that German's comment about Uli to Ack seems to be foreshadowing her redemption and return to Uli after the youthful indiscretion with Stepdaddy. No...no...no . Ack is not an innocent in this situation with Este and dies not deserve Uli.

There was doing a lot of Uli-Acacia channeling this episode. Not just what German said to Acacia about her and Uli being worth fighting for, but also Ale said basically the same thing to Acacia. And I even thought that Uli learning from Ale that Acacia knew Ale's past as a prostitute and still took her in and brought her into her family, likely served as a reminder to Uli (and us) that Acacia is a good person.
 

Holy Cow it just dawned on me tonight that Manolo is Hector's son in real life. I do live in FloriDuh.
