Mi Corazon Es Tuyo #143. Breaking a contract and the big reveal.

Getting right to the new stuff. Isa is home with a piece of lunchmeat on her black eye. She’s being questioned by YoMama as to how she got it. She informs her that Jen did it and Yo is now getting the picture that it was from a fight over Jonny. Isa now adds one more to her list of who is going to pay, Ana, Fernando, Jen, Jonny.

Ana comes into Fer’s home office to give him an update about the family. He asks when she will quit wearing her uniform, tomorrow she says. They say how much hey love each other, kiss, blah, blah blah. it still doesn’t lead to anything more than that.

Fanny comes home and Ana tells her that she needs to talk to her about the club and Doroteo.

León is still at work, I thought it was night time, and is remembering his moments with Fanny. Perla, the secretary interrupts him to tell him that Laura isn’t allowed at the office anymore.

Lenin is still with Edith and confesses that he’s worried about León and Fanny. Fanny and he ran into León and he thinks they are still in love.

Ana drags Fanny upstairs to tell her that Doroteo has a friend in the delegation that gives permits for stuff to do with his type of establishment. And money has exchanged hands for favors and they recorded it. She shows her the recording on her phone. She wants Fanny’s help to get out from under Doroteo’s thumb and not have to lie to her father anymore.

Fer leaves the office and talks to Estefania’s picture. He wants her blessing to marry Ana. She tells him of course she gives him permission and it startles him because it was so loud and clear. Then he thanks her.

Ana is imagining what it will be like to tell Doro about the video. She’s worried about how he will react since he’s a ganser. Fanny corrects her and says ganster, lol. (they mean gangster, just incase you didn’t get that). Ana’s plan: She tells him that someone else has a copy of the video, and if anything happens to her or Dana or Jonny, the police will get a copy of it. I guess she wants Fanny to be the one to give it to the police if anything happens to them. Fanny isn’t sure but Ana ultimately convinces her. They transfer the video to Fanny’s computer. Ana will talk to Doroteo tomorrow.

Ana is now in the kitchen drinking tea and Fer arrives with a surprise for her. He rolls out a rack with a lot of clothes on it. They are new clothes for her. She is taken aback, tries one on while saying she can’t accept such an extravagant gift.  He pleads with her and she finally accepts. He must not like color because they all look black, gray, and white. Another passionate kiss. Yawn! I want them to move to the next step already!

The next morning, the kids are eating breakfast plotting their next hijinks, and Ana comes in wearing her new clothes; pants with a sweater. Gray, black and white. She shows off her new clothes saying she feels like a model. The pants look great on her, by the way, now that she’s in such good shape from pole dancing.  Fer knows how to pick the clothes.

Cut to Ana in Doroteo’s office to give him the low down. She tells him that she wants to break her contract with him. He laughs. She will work for him until he tells her otherwise, she is his slave. She shouts back that she has a video of him with the delegation member. Cut to commercial. Man, Doroteo is one ugly guy.

He asks where this came from and she tells him Dana. He grabs her neck to strangle her. She tells him about the video is in other’s hands and if he kills her the video will make it to the police. He want’s proof of the video and she plays the video on her phone.

Bruno meets Fer at his away office and is telling Fernando that he will stop seeing Betty because he’s not very attentive to his job lately.  Betty comes in and he tells her that he’s not meeting with her anymore.

Yo tries to convince Isa to go to confession herself. Isa laughs at her. She will not step foot in a church.

Doroteo reminds her of all the money he loaned her for her house burning down, but she claims she’s paid that debt back by now. So he agrees, but wants her to do 2 more shows, and he will break her contract up right before her eyes. She agrees, Ugh! Then she brings in her lawyer, lol, and Doro is shocked. The lawyer suggests getting the original contract and making an amendment to it with the new conditions. It will contain the dates she worked, the payment of her debt, and that he’s never to say anything to Fernando about her working there.

Bruno is telling Bea that he doesn’t want to be away from home at night in case he’s needed and Bea says ok, but she’s mad.

Dana is rightly worried about what Ana is doing. Jen tries to calm her, but I’m with Dana, she has the most to lose.

Later Fer asks Bea what Bruno said to her and she told him. He didn’t like that. Isa comes in wearing her sunglasses to hide her eye.

Ana continues with the paperwork, she gets Doro to sign on the dotted line her new contract. She is happy. But we know what will happen, don’t we? She has 2 more shows to do and I bet Isa will be at one of them.

León is showing Fer some drawings of La Costaña can labels and Fer asks about his mortgage loan. Then he tells him that he wants to know what is happening with his daughter and him. He says that he asked Fanny to marry him and she said no. But Fer says that she didn’t tell him no, just not now, she's too young.  León says they are the same thing, (what a big baby, they are not.) Fer asks if he is going out with Laura and Fanny going out with Lenin is just them trying to hurt each other.

Edith comes home with Fanny and has tea with her. Fanny does’t like being put in the middle with all three of them and their problems. Edith agrees to not do that. She tells Fanny to tell Ximena that she will talk to her.

Ana’s lawyer destroys the original contract. Ana is ecstatic and later celebrates with Jonny, Jen and Dana. Doro has a temper tantrum and swears he’s going to sic revenge on Ana. He calls Isa! I knew it! Called it!!!!

Avances: The obligatory “Don’t ever lie to me or betray me” from Fernando to Ana right before he finds out that he’s been lied to and betrayed.

I have to run, so I will edit it if needed after I get back.

Great recap, cathyx!

I was sorry Ana chose to involve Fanny in her Doroteo dealings.

At least Ana had a lawyer with her.

Even if Ana were to be no longer working at Chicago, I do not understand how that would exonerate her from not telling Fernando since she has been working there all along and people in his family/household know the truth. Anyway, due to Doroteo and Isabela that will no longer be an issue. Looks like Ana missed her opportunity.

We could be in for some interesting episodes.

Thanks. Cathyx. The games have begun, for better or worse! What is with Johnny's heart? Could poor Dana possibly be safe?

Thank you Cathyx.

I hate Fanny was included and she couldn't say no.

I was impressed Ana had the foresight to bring an attorney along.

So, using Ana's logic, had Tamara died before Fanny knew about her, Leon did nothing wrong.

Lost on Fanny and Soledad is that Ana works (still does for two more shows) in a club that requires bribing a public official to look the other way so the doors can remain open. Guess unlawful activity goes on then.

Yep, Ana missed her opportunity to be truthful or better stated, she purposefully did everything in her power not to tell the truth.

Hope Dana leaves town

Bruno breaking it off with Betty is stupid. Women stay clear of this freak and Manuela you dodged a bullet.

Who in the world will Fernando be able to talk to that hasn't deceived him? I know he was a stick in the mud, subjected his children & Ana to Isabela the beast, by not thinking that one through, but he doesn't deserve the knifing he's about to get. Let's see, they all can make it his fault because he is such an inflexible, unreasonable human being. There you go, he deserved it.

Great rundown, Cathyx!! I was half asleep and appreciate the detail! Doroteo going to Bela--to be expected. Of course, that will have consequences the like of which will finally put all the baddies in their proper place!

Thank you cathyx ... you covered it all!! I don't think that Ana's character is supposed to be portrayed as despicable, so I guess she's supposed to be a sweet but incredibly dumb woman. To put Dana's life in danger, then to pull Fanny into it, for her own gain is just plain stupid and deplorable. And really, are we supposed to buy that any, even somewhat intelligent, man could be attracted enough to marry her? Would any man marry her if he found out that she put his daughter in danger? At any rate, it is getting interesting finally.

Cathyx:.
I see you too picked up on the black/white color scale of Ana's new wardrobe; a wardrobe still not appropriate for handling kids all day long.

So Bruno just ups and breaks it off with Betty (after getting his fill and loosing his stutter ) for such a lame reason as he needs to be there for the kids?? What'a up with that? Another side story Osorio doesn't know what to do with.

I mentioned in an earlier post that I believe Fernando is going to be most upset about the danger Ana has put his kids in by associating with "gangsters" more than the fact she lied to him.

Now with Ana involving Fanny in this latest escapade, she has really turned up the volume and crossed the tracks. She never should have involved Fanny.

"Would any man marry her if he found out that she put his daughter in danger?" Good question anon 11:39

Fernando put all his children in danger by marrying Isabela and took a while to wise up but he banished her quickly when he did and he was unaware what she was capable of. Ana, on the other hand, is very aware of what Doroteo is capable of and yet asked Fanny to participate, like she wanted her to cover her shift at IHop so she could go to a concert. Now the club gang, absent Dana (cause she is petrified and justifiably so), are giving high fives all round. All Ana really did was poke the beast in the eye and get out of a contract. If that was her end game, good job, but what she really wanted was to have a blissfully ignorant Fernando.

Angel will marry her because she hasn't lied to him, yet. He shouldn't because she is no different than the woman he just divorced. One, while professing to love him, will go to selfish extremes, not to be open and honest because that too difficult. If it can never come to light or no one ostensibly harmed, then a foul has not been committed.

I'm back finally.

A thought occurred to me that I hope is how this plays out. I want to see YoMama tell Ana about Diego Nicolas not being Fer's son, so that Ana can bribe Isabela to keep her mouth shut about Chicago. That could work and it would be a win win for everyone.

Tofie, I agree about the Bruno storyline, but I've always thought every Bruno storyline from the very beginning was idiotic and pointless.

Anon at 11:39am, Ana exudes some sort of pheromone that makes men fall in love with her. It's not her fault.

CathyX, thanks for the great recap! Much appreciated.

I would be beyond furious if someone asked my teen daughter to get involved--no matter how remotely--with all the dirty goings-on at the Chicago. Ana is putting Fanny in a situation that involves graft, blackmail, and a seedy bar. That's worse than lying to Fer about her night-time activities, IMO.

At least the characters are complicated: not all good, not all bad, not all perfect. I am also enjoying that characters just seem to come and go, pass on through, and that everybody's individual plot line is not necessarily completed. It makes it feel more like real life. Also, I understand is how Anna could have so many suitors: what some find annoying others find endearing. All in all, I
have enjoyed all the quirks.

Jarifa

If Ana has to dance two more times at Chicago, Isabruja will have ample opportunity to unmask her to Fernando and with Jonny'a rejection of her, she is more than just out for a little revenge.

I still don't understand why DN is at the mansion and not with his mother. I guess Isabruja doesn't care what people think about her lack of mothering skills.

Does she still think that Fernando will come running back to her once Chicago is revealed and he throws Ana out on her behind?

I think Isabela just likes to inflict pain. She wants to break them up and don't think she has any illusion she'll be back in.

Isabela may be the messenger (and be shot) but is not the cause, Ana just didn't cover her butt well enough.

I definitely think Isa just wants to hurt Ana and get her back for taking her man from her. I don't think that she thinks Fernando would want to get back with her, but who knows what a crazy person thinks.

Gracias, Cathyx. I see I have my work cut out for me for Monday.

I can't believe Ana did something this bone-headed. She should have just gotten Dana out of town and sent the video to the police without warning to Dorofeo and been nowhere near the scene of the crime when it all went down. That would have been the smartest and best thing to do... and why didn't this lawyer tell her that?

I agree with Tofie about Fernando marrying Isabruja without realizing what she was capable of. He should have gotten an extremely bad vibe when she was in the presence of his children. I guess, though, that we are finally dispensing with that stupid "llamada de la sangre" that I can't believe in since we have gone through a few weeks of episodes of nobody getting the vibe that DN isn't one of them.

Also agree that the whole Bruno-as-50-year-old-virgin was ridiculous. His reason for backing out of a relationship with Beatriz was the worst of that in view of the fact that Fernando didn't object and the children aren't Bruno's primary responsibility. I still don't think he will end up with Manuela.

Fanny certainly seemed to hesitate about helping out Ana, recognizing the danger to all of them. Ana convinced her by saying that if this worked, she would' t have to lie to Fernando any longer and they could all be happy together (or words to that effect).

I know that Ana is desperate and I am in general on her side, but that degree of delusion about how best to get out of a sticky situation is troubling. Just tell him the truth, then you won't have to lie . .. and you may lose him!

I think that Ana's "punishment" for lying to Fernando is going to be long and hard. Between all of the people conspiring against her, the recognition by those who still love her that she dug herself into this hole and her disappointment in herself in front of the kids, it is going to be miserable. Perfect opening for Angel!

I think in view of these events Isabruja deserves a separate post of her own.

At this stage of the game I doubt she believes she can get Fernando back in her web no matter how hot she thinks she is. If that were the case she wouldn't be chasing Johnny. What threatens to happen would present a Scorched Earth victory to her.

She also needs to wonder what Yomama will do or say at this point. Yomama did say last night or the night before that she was afraid of her and this is a reasonable fear. She should have ratted Isabruja out over DN's paternity and gotten her butt out of town.

Prediction: She knows that Enfrique is out of his mind and has grudges against Fernando and Fanny specifically. She will find a way to turn him loose (since we have had no indication he has already escaped) and leave Fernando and Fanny to his tender mercies while she goes after Ana.

Traveling Lady, and considering we still have 40 plus more episodes to go, lol, it will drag on and on.

So well put, Cathyx! LOL

Fab recap cathyx. I was a bit like Jardinera last night, part watching, part working on the laptop, part playing with the furballs. Your detail is greatly appreciated.

First, I want Fer to go buy my wardrobe. I would take that whole rack, all black, gray and white of it in a heartbeat. It would go great with my current closet which is half black, white and gray as well. Be happy to send size and items needed.

As for the main event, well, I did pay attention to the first part of that confrontation and when I heard Ana mention Dana I almost thought I heard wrong. But your recap tells me otherwise. Why did she do that??? When he asked, she could have said, "does it matter, I have it, show just a photo of the two jerks together and imply there's more. Why couldn't the office have been bugged? He may have deduced later it was Dana, but at least this gives the poor woman wiggle room which leaves me to say...

WTH is she still doing in town?? Damn, this is where Jen keeping some of that cash would have come in handy. Get the poor woman out of town and safe. Now she's a walking target. Something happens to her, that will be on Ana's head, so better not go there on the story because it would be hard to pull for a heroine who got a friend hurt.

And pulling Fanny in again. I liked the fact Fanny didn't seem enthused. That was two in one night getting roped into this mess.

So maybe Perla does have the hots for Leon? I think that was her call on Laura not allowed onsite anymore. As for Fer getting involved, I didn't mind him asking, but wow, that answer from Leon, I'm surprised Fer didn't tell "you're an idiot and don't deserve my daughter". Well, I would have said it anyway. They are definitely trying to get those two back together. Not a fan, Not anymore.

Any bets that Edith will be the one to back off and let Ximena and Nando become the couple? Please keep all sharp objects away from me if the N/X AND F/Leon happen.

Daisynjay

ITA about poor little Dana. Ana has risked next to nothing in this whole merry go round to hide her sleazy secret life from Fer. And she threw Dana WAY under the bus. IE: " Oh Doro, did you think she really liked you? Ha." Not earning any anti-anvil points here.

Says it all, the scene at Jenny's house while Ana was talking to Doroteo and Dana a nervous wreck and Jenny not concerned.

That was pretty bad to roll over and give up Dana so quickly, hope she stays safe but maybe if he'd had his hands around my neck I'd give her up too.

OT & from QTPD
Sharing this post from someone on Que te perdone Dios because I think she has a good point/idea.

Please everybody, if you see a Wiki page for a novela that is full of SPOILERS , please edit the page and DELETE the spoilers. It's really easy to do and only takes a few minutes.

I know Wiki has a policy that allows spoilers because I"ve complained to them; and they pointed out to me their "Spoilers Are Allowed" policy.

However, IMO it isn't fair to those of us who only want to read the basic facts, such as cast, author, producer, etc. to be bombarded by the WHOLE story before we've even begun to watch the novela.

Please do your part and edit the spoilers out as you find them on Wiki for those of us who might not have watched the original version or the one in question. I don't know of any other website or forum that allows spoilers.

Margaret

Cathyx: thanks for the recap.

Jarifa: agree with you sbout this TN.

I'm probably in the minority, but I'm on Wiki's side about the spoilers. They're a resource to find out about whatever subject you're researching and that would include any facts about TNs.

Nanette

Quit vandalizing wikis!

I generally want plot rundowns of shows I'm never going to see.

I'd prefer for "who shot JR" reveals to be down the page, and wouldn't object to reordering a page that led with a spoiler, but otherwise leave it be.

I would be in favor of a spoiler page that would be another link. However, I don't like running into spoilers when I'm just looking up basic facts.

The problem is that Wikipedia will often have cast information that is not properly detailed in IMDb.

I stopped going to Wiki because of the spoilers. I want to be dumb and blind as I go, stumbled across a spoiler for La Malquerida early and it was, well, a spoiler. I love conjecture though.

Real simple. Exercise a bit of self discipline. If you do not want to read spoilers DO NOT GO TO WIKI AND READ THEM. Don't sabotage Wiki, that's just plain dishonest Margaret. Childish and selfish too.

I'm on the side of not visiting Wiki if you don't want to read any spoilers. Just don't go there if it's important to you to not want to know what's going to happen. There was even a commenter here (not on this TN) who watched the Mexican showings so she was ahead of our viewing and would inadvertently tell us some spoilers, small stuff like saying hang on for another week and it gets better, or something to that effect, and to me that's a spoiler too because I just don't want to know that kind of stuff either. So I just quit reading her comments.

I always restrain myself if I've viewed ahead of this group, as I sometimes do. I also sometimes take notes to remind myself.

Just got a pair of speakers for my computer and I am so enjoying not having to use earbuds!

Cathyx: I thought I was the only one who considers suggestions to keep watching as spoilers.

IMDB typically has basics

I have to say that Spoilers spoil the watching pleasure for me, so I try not to go to Wiki but Imdb instead, although that site rarely has much information at all.

Since Wiki allows spoilers, and also grants any reader the right to modify, revise, add, and/or delete to a page, then what's left on any given day on a telenovela page may or may not contain little to a great deal of information.

And since Wiki allows anyone to modify a page to their own personal liking, one really shouldn't call that "sabotaging Wiki" as Kirby comments.

Here again a great comment posted that conjures up many varying opinions. To each his own.

I have also seen blatantly wrong information on novela pages. This is annoying and I do my best to stay away from Wikipedia on that.

Urban I really think you and all those that recap each and every episode for us so faithfully do an outstanding job of keeping any hint of spoilers out of the recaps. I live on the East Coast and don't have access to the Mexican broadcast channels and Televisa and Telemundo are very strict about anyone posting their novelas on the web during airing.

But I think Margaret has a point with one aspect:

One can't just get away from all the spoilers that may be posted on the novela page on Wiki because often under the cast descriptions, the author, modifier, whoever will post the entire sequence of events that a character will experience during the novela, for example:

Juan Manuel Pérez, played by Jorge Castillo, son of Sergio Fernando Pérez and María Lucia Pérez de la Vega, married to Carla Lopez, real father of Inez Gallegas and in love with Susana Gallegas, enemy of Eduardo de la Joya murdered by Alberto de la Joya during attempted kidnapping of Juan Manuel's sister Angelina.

So you see, if you just want to know which actor is playing a particular character, the Wiki description of that character will give away his life's history in the "Cast" section, without even reading the "Plot" section. Our main character, Juan Manuel, is murdered before the end of the novela. ¡Que lástima!

So it's up to the reader whether to wander onto the novela pages in Wiki.

Ya nada más

I know. It really annoys me.

As to giving things away, when I recap I stick to what is happening in that episode unless there is a reason to mention the previous day's one (such as Cap 114 of LQLVMR when I began to channel Dashiell Hammett). I don't even do avances because the ones I see aren't necessarily the ones you will.

Disliking censorship of any type, it is really easy: if you don't want to read spoilers, don't go looking for them or reading material that might contain them.

Jarifa

Btw, with a grand total of 176 episodes: 33 to go.

Jarifa

What gets me the most about Ana's actions is that she is way smarter than that. If anyone, Fanny, Nando, Fernando, anyone at all, would come to her for advice on how to handle a situation like hers, she would tell them, in no uncertain terms, to tell the other person the truth quick, fast, and in a hurry! If they would say, "But if I do that I might lose him (or her, it, them, etc)!" She would respond, "Yes, you might. And you must deal with it because that would be the consequence of your actions. But you might not lose him (her, etc) and you will gain total peace of mind."

She's smart, yet so stupid to not follow what would surely be her own advice.

Anon 8:06. exactly. Ana is doing the exact opposite from the advice she would give Nando or Fanny or anyone like that...
but they are not in her shoes... its a bit more compliated/gray than that.
anyway. i agree, though. she should have told Fernando the truth in her own terms... ok, waited for three wise men et al... but before and in a different way than she is trying to not let him find out now.
She has been lying to everyone, not even going to the EXTREMELY WRONG that she has done involving other innocent folks like Fanny and Dana... but she has been lying to herself... and trying to 'tapar el sol con un dedo, like Fernando told her a while back.
Like the saying goes... if you love something / someone set them free... if they come back to you they're yours... if they don't they never were.
We got to brace for very depressing weeks coming ahead... the buildup has all the signs of lifting Fernando to a high place only to drop him sudden and hard... making the dreaded nasty reaction all but certain.

Part 1 of 2

Opening theme

Yoohoo! The original theme music/song is back! I felt more grateful than a Who on Christmas morning. Wait. Then on Thursday the Banda theme was back then n Fri the Alex/Kaay number was back. What gives? Whatever, as long as its Alex/Kaay.

Wait, whoa, what happened?

We’ve got Dr Angel down on a knee telling Ana how he loves her while Viewerville rolls their eyes and scans the TV guide for a Jean Claude Van Damme movie when I the next scene Ana is out of Dr A’s office and doing something totally unrelated with the previous scene. So what happened? What did she say to Dr A? How did she react? The next scenes completely ignore that silly scene. It looks like it never happened and it was just a hallucination Viewerville had after taking “medicine” in response to yet another Johnny scene.

Kinkeeee!

The novella was turning into a total snoozefest. Then Ana read her note that was attached to the flowers which were actually for Bruno. Then she says role playing and teach/student, nurse and patient and all of the sudden I am wide awake here waiting to see where this goes. Yeah, and it did go… right out the window when Bruno cleared things up. Yup, was expression was the same as Ana’s when she found out that the note was meant for Bruno. Gaaawd, just when the novella might have gotten interesting.

Nando’s new look

Looks like he went from Extreme Nerd to Extreme Fashionista. Couldn’t they have found a middle ground for his new look? Is it just me that buys his wardrobe at Forever 62 or does Nando look creepy in his new attire? When I saw him the first thought in my mind was Count Dracula (minus the cape and fangs). Someone please tell me that they liked his new look and it is me who is out of touch with reality.

And speaking of Nando…

What is up with this love triangle? This is so square. So now Xi and Bat Chic get to be best friends while Nando boils in his own oil? They took a possibly interesting story and made it take a dive. Now Nando is disappointing Viewerville. He always seemed like a level headed kid and now he doesn’t know which torta he wants. And as the famed dog of the two tortas, he might end up with neither lady.

Part 2 of 2

Jenny’s Hook

Yes! Now that the way to strike down a foe! Give them the Rocky punch, not some lame slap. Loved the replay!

Ana and Mr. Doroteo

This reminded me of a nature scene I saw on TV a long time ago where a monkey was taunting a boa. The monkey would quickly run up to the boa, slap it and then run off. Apparently the boa was not too pleased with this so when the monkey came up to the boa to slap it the boa quickly lunged and caught the monkey’s head. The boa then proceeded to wrap itself around the monkey and 20 minutes later the boa enjoyed a snack. Unfortunately, this analogy puts Ana in the monkey’s position.

Mr. D already lunged out and caught Ana in a Homer Simpson chokehold. I was not sure if he was going to let go. Even though Ana seemed to have controlled him it I obvious that he is not going to take this lying down. We all know where this is heading. Ana now has a false sense of security and yet another reason why not to tell Fernando this. Of course if the evil Mr. D was smart enough he would get back that delegate and film a mock scene and have that go viral thus discrediting Ana’s own video.

Ana and Fer smooching

Ok, we get it, you guys love each other, now get a room! So much sweetness is giving me cavities. How much do they love each other, really? Does not look like Ana loves him enough to tell him about her past. And if he goes ballistic when he finds out about her dancing and does not understand her fear and why she did not tell him then all that smooching was just candy without any center.

It really annoys me when two people profess their love when it is only skin deep.

Fannie and Lenin and Lion

Ok, Lion and Fannie get married and she gets turned into a “wifey poo” that is at the beck and call of His Greatness the Lion. Or Fannie and Lenin get married and establish their own socialist group. That’s a hard choice! Any chance of Fannie becoming a nun? So we have two triangles here, a male triangle pointing up and a female triangle pointing down. Overlap them and form a male/female sign. (Ok, I’ve seen The DaVinci Code on too many times.)

Road to Repentance

YoMama has seen the light. This character’s repentance is so bland. It would have been better if it was Chabelita traveling down this road. In any case, if YoMama was sincere in her new way she should have told Fernando about the baby not being his, but I did not see a hint of this when YoMama went visiting to beg Ana’s forgiveness. No wonder Ana did not believe her. Perhaps Viewerville was meant to believe this being that the actress portraying YoMama is always a goodie too shoe in almost every role has had played, one exception was Man on Fire with Denzel Washington. I am sure there are others and she is very capable of playing a baddie convincingly, but it seems that the novellas she had made have stereo typed her in a “saint” role.

Betty and Bruno sitting on a tree, K-I-S-S… huh?

He dumps her? Waaaaaah-eeeeee? He just treated Betty like a disposable item! Bruno, a pox on you! I think I am going to need counseling to understand this one, oh wait, it is just a fictitious fantasy story. Oh how I miss Tinker Ana!

Favorite line

What Perla told Laura. Floored her to 6 feet under! And Perla proved that she is above Laura’s drama and stupidity. I am glad she banned Laura from the office. I hope she simply calls security if she sees Laura there again.

And in closing

(Everyone cheering.) I leave you all with a link to one of my favorite songs by Mijares

Have a great week!

Sorry about the typos, many "I"s should have been "is", "n" should have been "in" or "on" and "Yup, was expression was the same " should have been "Yup, my expression was the same "

Salvador, loved your comments. Especially,
Betty and Bruno sitting in a tree, K-I-S-S-I-N-G.......

Bruno... he must have got Nico's (just when i got everything i ever wanted and then some, I pull the plug and drop her and make her feel like a snorted used kleenex) syndrome.

Maybe, they pull Ana back a bit, she still has time to tell Fernando and give him a heads up.

It's beginning to look like this is not fear but a character flaw in Ana. I cannot grasp, her fear of losing Fernando by being honest, is greater than, tricking a gangster that could still harm her, her club buddies, Fernando and/or the kids. I know it's not but it looks like a hustle.

Troubling is Soledad's acquiescence, this from a woman who spent 20 years in jail in defense of her child. She knows first hand, there are bad folks out there that have no problem going after kids.

Don't know how I can be more disappointed but if Ana has hooked up with Angel (or seriously contemplating it) by weeks end, that will do it.

I don't think Soledad knows all the details of what Ana's done. I think she would have backed her about turning that video over to the police without warning that slimebucket. It's enough evidence on its face. This would have meant getting Dana, Johnny, and Jennifer out of town for a while at the very least.

In view of other violent crime and kidnappings in Mexico I'm surprised that Fernando hasn't had armed guards around the mansion from the get-go, now that we're talking about safety. I'm amazed they didn't deal with the issue of Secuestro Express.

Cathyx, ITA about the color pattern of the clothes rack Fernando gave Ana... i did not see that many blouses and pants, most of it was jackets, coats, sweaters... it could have been more balanced in both color scheme (a few red, blue, green saturated color blouses would have lifted the vibe a bit) and the variety of pieces (more pants, skirts, blouses)... i agree that Ana's clothes are all black/gray scheme but she doesn't have that many anyway.

anyway, he is not the host of a fashion show anyway, i doubt he did the selection himself, more like he had someone, maybe Fanny, make a wider selection and he picked what he liked out of that...

And yes, cathyx, i think a lot of us saw Ana's move (the biggest mistake of it was involving Fanny [ major point against her in Fernando's eyes] AND Dana [you never should play with a friend's life and safety like that, if you are TRULY her friend, yes she had VERY GOOD reasons to be paranoid]) give her a false sense of security while ROYALLY backfiring on her... she just wounded a sleeping beast.
Now Dorofeo and Isa will have the means to deliver the 'secret' all wrapped up in sour balls instead of cushioned with background info and the reasons she did it as she could have.

DaisynJay,
As for Fer getting involved, I didn't mind him asking, but wow, that answer from Leon, I'm surprised Fer didn't tell "you're an idiot and don't deserve my daughter".
I was thinking the same thing... but i guess Fernando is working on restraining himself and letting them work things out on their own... he will be there to support Fanny but can't make her choices for her. (very hard, i speak from experience)

One thing about Fernando's choices of clothing for Ana is that one can never go wrong with black, grey, black, white, black, beige, black... you get it. Ladies of his social class are likely to wear lots of black for evening or business and he also doesn't know all her tastes in color because she has spent most of her time in what looks like a private school teacher's uniform.

And very few women don't look good in black. But I'm a New Yorker and half of my wardrobe is black. ;)

I'd like to see Fanny wear longer skirts. The dresses she has have skirts that are too short for someone her age.

Nando needs more blue to bring out his eyes.

The twins are still young enough to be cute in identical clothes.

They should have reshot the maze thing somewhere in the middle of the series. Soledad's hair is completely different from the way it is in that sequence and the twins have grown (although the other kids don't look as though they have). Leon is finally dressing up for his work and that should show. So should Nando's makeover at this point.

Oh, yes, and Siete should have been added to the maze run. He's just adorable.

UA, I agree that for evening and business the colors Fernando had in the rack are the predictable and most practical ones. But we had commented that for Ana to be dressing more practical for a nanny or even an active mommy of 7+ kids, she should wear more comfortable... and given Ana's personality she could use some pop of color here or there... but i agree that she would be fine with what he gave her...

totally agree on having Siete in the beginning credits, he deserves his name displayed on the screen too.

Have there been any "ultimas semanas" announcements yet?

I hope they show us Laura sashaying into the bean factory guard shack as though she owns the place and being told she is on the no admittance list. Will she go into orbit or what? Of course she will B-O-M-B Leon's phone. And blame Fanny somehow.

Blog mom here with the strong recommendation that you not try to censor Wikipedia. Our blog is spoiler free but the rest of the world has the right to know everything if they want to. If YOU PERSONALLY do not want to read spoilers, then DON'T GO TO WIKIPEDIA. I don't want us to get a reputation as wiki trolls.

Ohhh Boy..Nando is on fire on Farceboink and titter. Can't wait for his little hoes to see him. World War III starring zim and troll gurl.
