Que te Perdone Dios

Ok, here we go! Full disclosure, I have a terrible headache and I'm recapping with no notes, if I miss something please feel free to point it out in the comments section. The recap also won't be as long or detailed as I'd like because this headache is kicking my butt.

We return to a nasty scene, Lucio on Fausto's orders is kicking out Elena (Univison's website has her name spelled as Helena), she tries to reason with him, and even asks him who comforted him while he cried for his son, Lucio seems to have a change of heart and tells the men to bring in the furniture that they had removed. Helena breathes a sigh a relief but that's short lived as Lucio soon says "The furniture belongs to Don Fausto, so that stays, everything else that belongs to this woman goes"- they then throw all her clothes, along with Mateos clothing outside. Lucio invites the two men that are with him to go eat some birria while they wait for the locksmith to come and change all the locks in the house. Well, he might be a rat bastard but at least he has good taste in food. Seriously, if you ever have a chance to have birria order two servings and dig in! Helena is distraught as she finds herself outside her former house with all her  possessions on the sidewalk.

Renata and Fausto have a little conversation in which Renata tells her dear awful husband that Abigail will be staying at the ranch for as long as she wants to, she will only leave once she has gotten married. I think Fausto realizes that Renata is dead serious about this.

Mateo has caught up with Abi, she tells him she and her mother Macaira will be leaving the ranch and going to La Enramada, she says that Fausto has asked them to leave and that he won't change his mind. Mateo tells her that it is to be expected that Fausto would be upset, they ( he and Renata) lied to him to get her the ranch. She says Fausto is stubborn and won't relent, Mateo tells her that he will speak with Fausto and make him change his mind, he also tells her that she should think about Renata, ah yes, use the blind lady to make Abi feel guilty. Good going Mateo!

Ok, this headache is getting worse, I'm going home to sleep it off and will finish this tomorrow or on Monday before the new episode airs, I hope I don't have Ebola!

Ah this is embarassing ,i almost forgot what happened in this episode ,i guess i will have to watch it again !

But i do remember that Faucet is planning to run as President of Municipality ( I guess i finally learned this term translates to Mayor!) ,Simona is also offered the role. Marcelino will learn his error in time, he will see.

And there is a big funeral scene for Pablo but Lucio is not invited to the funeral,he was only at the mass.

And Mac revealed to Faucet about the Gun which i thought was an extremely stupid move on her part..

Elena is back in town ,being offered the place in La Ramada again .She also believes Abi is Fausto's daughter. At best but not least ,Mateo and Diana kiss in the end, with Abi seeing it all. Her reaction will not be very "blissfull" i guess.

And i loved how Lucio was humiliated and slapped by both Faucet and Mat,they make a good team! Faucet obviously gave these orders though. Mac and Luc seem like it could be a deadly combination and i am wondering who will potray the wife ,one of the Laisha twins ? or Someone which we havent seen yet? I am leaning towards Laisha being Pats estranged wife but maybe Laisha potrays Luc's missing wife,.

PS and i guess Tia's son is Fabian Robles ,i am 100%sure !

Countx--One by one the characters arrive, no? You are probably right about FR.

Tia's son represents a financial commitment she doesn't have, Di doesn't want to pony up, so he'll have to stay in jail for awhile. Fabian seems to relish these roles where he is a bit creepy and a bad boy. I wonder if this character has been unjustly charged or not.

Fausto now has quite a few folks who won't vote for him for Mayor--Lucio, Mac, Elena, Renata, Diego, Benito. Sounds like most of the inhabitants! He'd better be careful about burning too many bridges behind him.

Wait a minute, Fausto going into politics?

LOL!

Please everybody
, if you see a Wiki page for a novela that is full of SPOILERS , please edit the page and DELETE the spoilers. It's really easy to do and only takes a few minutes.

I know Wiki has a policy that allows spoilers because I"ve complained to them; and they pointed out to me their "Spoilers Are Allowed" policy.

However, IMO it isn't fair to those of us who only want to read the basic facts, such as cast, author, producer, etc. to be bombarded by the WHOLE story before we've even begun to watch the novela.

Please do your part and edit the spoilers out as you find them on Wiki for those of us who might not have watched the original version or the one in question. I don't know of any other website or forum that allows spoilers.

Margaret

Margaret:

Thank you for bringing this to everyone 's attention. I for one will join the cause and delete....delete....delete......

Ok, Helena overhears young macaria telling Fausto that the baby she gave birth to was his. She didn't hear his response that he knew it was Renata's child. So when Abigaeel takes her in at her very newly gifted hacienda, she tells Mateo, not once, but twice, that he and Abigail are "like" brother and sister. No spoiler, just a hunch that Mateo might not be her husband's, but her bro-in-law's Don Fausto. Eli, Thanks for recapping through the pain. I hope you were kidding about ebola, and hope you get rest and feel much better.

Thank you for informing us about the spoilers,Margaret.I already informed some people as well,it is an really upsetting experience having to read the spoilers when you are only looking for some certain info. And editing on Wikipedia is trully obnoxious at times because there are so many trolls there who ruin the experience..As Margaret said, remove any spoilers at sight and report to admins!

And thank you for your hard work Eli,take some rest and continioue at your pace, you have the whole Monday at your bargain. As i said,no one is pulling the gun on us to be as fast as possible ,true readers will wait for them as long as it takes. I could call in some substitutes like Jardinera or CS if you wish.

I too wonder if Tia's son was imprisoned on false charges ,i wonder if he has any connection to Simona,.
As for Fausto entering politics ,i was not suprised much, this will definetly solidify his position and i am already guessing,no spoilers intended that he will be threating Simona to pull away from the elections .
And besides ,it does not matter who many have voted, what matters is who is counting them!
But i dont know how can they allow Fausto participate if he is under criminal investigation, any guesses?

Eli- I hope you're feeling better soon. I love the taste of recap that you gave us. I hope you are able to finish it, but your health comes first. I just about to watch the episode. Be back later.

Ok. I've just finished watching. I have to say, the locations, hacienda, and town this is shot in is beautiful. Love the way the funeral procession was filmed, and also find funerals in white to be quite beautiful too.

Didn't anyone find it strange that Mac wasn't sitting in the first row of the church, as Pablo was supposedly the love of her life and her baby daddy. How funny that Mat's mom thinks Fausto is Abi's dad. Yeah, they are definitely trying to give us the impression that Fausto is really Mat's dad, not uncle. I'd love the backstory on how that happened.

It will be interesting to see how this race for mayor pans out. It might be dangerous for Simona to go against Fausto. I wonder who would win in a fair fight? Simona actually has public service experience and works hard to help her constituents. But Fausto regularly treats the men in town to free tequilas at the bar. It might be a tight race.

Vivi, I'm going to laugh if Fausto catapults his way to Los Pinos in becoming President of Mexico!

Screw that Steve,i wish Fausto to become the President of United States,go Fausto,Fausto,Fausto!

I love this novela but I've got a problem or two with it. I've hung around a blind couple and they could hear everything! Also, people have different smells. Also, i can see and i could recognize my husband's walk when i hear it. Why is it that Renata's other senses are so poor?

In order to read the spoilers on Wikipedia, you have to click on PLOT. Why would you need to click on plot to learn about the director? Don't click on plot!

Is Lucio Fausto's kid?

Cynderella,

I've noticed the same things. Surely she can hear Fausto when he comes clunking in in those cowboy boots, and certainly she must smell his whiskey-tobacco breath and, besides that, I suspect that he has a rather unique strong odor about him as well. She seems to have a general lack of awareness of what is going on around her even as she is amazingly adept at navigating her environment.

I'm still struggling to keep straight who's who and who's related to whom.

Carlos

Cyndrella ,Today i have annihilated the spoilers on Wiki but i havent contacted the Admin yet to lock the page down ,you see editing on Wikipedia is a nightmare and an complete joke because if the admins do not assist ,everyone can do whatever the smuck they like and the edit history can sometimes be quazillion pages long because of just one troll fighting the other troll so i will probably see my edit getting reverted tommorow!

As for Lucio being Fausto's child ,i doubt it but i would not be suprised.I wonder where are his parents. I am the most invested in the Diego parenthood storyline .

Cyndrella, did I miss something else again? Why do you ask if Lucio is Fausto's kid? I am sure curious about Diego's story, pls Vicenta, suelta la sopa already. I wouldnt doubt bad Fausto has something to do with that cuz he sure dont like Diego.

Another thing, I sure am puzzled that the Presidente Municipal thinks so highly of Fausto, and a gripe that he overlooked Simona probably cause she is a woman. He seems like a fair man and helps people too, Simona is truly a civil servant of the people. Whereas Fausti exploits and abuses everyone!!

Two reasons: 1. A while back when Faustian was berating Lucio, Lucio says..."but I'm your. ..", but he stops and doesn't complete the sentence. Also, i thought that Matt's mom was talking about Lucio when she and Mac were discussing "the man that watches over you". I thought she said that that man (Lucio) was Fausto's child. Lucio was watching them when she said it.

I think her sons are Fausto's too. When we first met the gossips, someone was discussing who was the father of Simona's sons. She was looking at a photo, but they never said who they belonged to.

Countx, I'm saying that in order to find the spoilers on Wikipedia, you you'd have to be looking for them. I clicked on PLOT because i wanted to read it. If someone doesn't want to read a spoiler, don't click on PLOT. Why would someone find the directors information in the plot section?

I can't see Simona ever having gotten it on with Fausto! Unlike a lot of the other women in this town, she seems to have common sense. But it would be funny if Fausto is her baby daddy too. That would potentially make him Mateo's, Diego's, Simona's two sons, and (according to Cyn) Lucio's daddy! And of course, some think he's Abi's daddy. He's potentially fathered half the town! That's hilarious.

Cyn and Carlos- Renata not being able to tell when Fausto and Mac are in the room watching her is unrealistic to me too. But the other episode she knew perfectly well that it was Abi standing there not saying anything, and followed her into the house. Pretty selective sensing. I also don't get why blind people in tns never use guide canes. In a big working hacienda like that, with multi levels, it's just not realistic.

Cynderella,

One can't just get away from all the spoilers that may be posted on the novela page on Wiki because often under the cast descriptions, the author, modifier, whoever will post the entire sequence of events that a character will experience during the novela, for example:

Juan Manuel Pérez, played by Jorge Castillo, son of Sergio Fernando Pérez and María Lucia Pérez de la Vega, married to Carla Lopez, real father of Inez Gallegas and in love with Susana Gallegas, enemy of Eduardo de la Joya murdered by Alberto de la Joya during attempted kidnapping of Juan Manuel's sister Angelina.

So you see, if you just want to know which actor is playing a particular character, the Wiki description of that character will give away his life's history in the "Cast" section, without even reading the "Plot" section. Our main character, Juan Manuel, is murdered before the end of the novela. ¡Que lástima!

Fausto could have raped Simona one or more times, thus resulting in him being the father of one or both of her boys.

I agree that Feisty's scent must proceed him..not only tobacco and booze, but he surely seems like the type of dude who would slap on lots of cologne to enhance his appeal to the ladies. Fe fi foe fum...I smell Feisty.

I find it odd that Ren is able to walk around the house without even touching the furniture. Someone just surfing in and seeing her would never think that she was blind, unlike Virginia in Tata or Diana Castro in Pasion.

''Tata''....make that Gata ...thanks IPad.

Ha! Well i guess Fausto is a bigger stud that I gave him credit for. But then again, we have witnessed him force himself on Renata, so some of the baby mama's might not all have been willing partners. Diana did admit to her aunt that she liked being with him. Women seem to either love him or loathe him. I also dont see Laisha W as Lucio's ex. She seem too classy for him, I bet Dr Pat's ex-wife.

Victoria, yes Fausto is rapist, but I dont see him raping Simona one or more times. But you never know. Maybe Helena? Or he seduced her??

Gringo where are you? Miss your no-nonsense comments and signature sign off ...."must see tv."

Who your favorite actress in this tn?

Cyndrella, thanks for reminding me about the "hints" regarding Lucio. That is sad if he is his son and gets treated like dirt. He sure is a misersble unhappy man. Sometimes his mannerisms remind me of hunchback of Notre Dame.

This comment has been removed by the author.

Isn't Lucio a little bit too old to be Fausto's son?

Fausto is Mexico's version of Frank Underwood!

Campaign slogan: I killed Renata's baby daddy, vote for me!

I think so, Victoria.

I agree Lucio seems old to be Fausto's son, but he could be the oldest offspring. Since they were the same actors now and 18 years ago, that could be throwing us off. I mean, "young" Fausto was what, early thirties at least, at the very least, so now he has to be 50+. And I really have no clue hwo old Lucio's supposed to be, but old enough to to have a 20 year old son (so at least 32!).

I also agree with the Hunchback comment, I noticed that, too. He seems like a broken man, and the liaison with Mac was bound to happen.

Fausto may also be the baby daddy for Tia's son, Fabian Robles. I think he is definitely the father of both Mateo and Diego. Yet another similarity to Abismo.

Guilty confession: I think Fausto is good-looking most of the time, channeling Ro-Hell from LQNPA, who I really liked!!

TN4ever

Eli - I hope your headache is gone and that by now you're resting comfortably. Thanks for the starter.

A while back, when Fausto was asleep, Helena kissed him with a kind of "no one must know" air. That got me wondering if she'd previously, like years ago, had her way with him while he was drunk or something and that she was secretly in love with him. She definitely was crestfallen when she overheard young Macaria claiming he was her baby's daddy. Pobre Mateo, if Fausto is his dad.

I noticed Diana teasingly reminded Tia that she also had 2 lovers. I didn't give much thought, now I
Say "wait a minute", remembering that might be a juicy tidbid, maybe Fausto did fool and around w Tia also and Fabian is offspring. Who could the other second "prentedentre" be???

Yes Niece, poor Mateo, I can actually see him and hear him grabbing his head saying "No No No puede Ser No." Helena, Elena dont want to be in your shoes.
Lots of splaining to do......

Sorry that you have a splitting headache Eli. No fun at all. Hope things are back to normal after a good cup of morning coffee tomorrow.

Novella lover---Who is my favorite actress? What man wouldn't love Zuria Vega?

I don't know if I have ever seen Nora Jones before but I admit that I am easily fooled. I mean---A different hair style, a different hair color, different attire like from beautiful evening dresses to western clothes and I'm lost. Women can change appearances much more than men can but if I haven't seen her before, I am liking her very much so far.

Sabine Moussier---A little too old to play the young college girl in love but for supporting actress, I think that she can't be beat. Especially her high strung high energy intense roles that she so often plays. Sabine can really bring it on. I think that she's fantastic. I have never seen her when I wasn't impressed.

Like Carlos, I am struggling with
all of the cast members. I know that I will eventually get them all but I always find new novelas to be trying on the brain, trying to place everyone.
Lucio's son? I didn't know that he had a son. Simona? Tia? Helena? Elena got thrown out on the street. Who is Elena? She is going to move in with Abigail.

I know that it is extra work but it would be helpful that at the start of new novelas, a cast list
and who they are would help solve
a lot of confusion. I know that you can get cast members names on websites but usually only names are listed. The son of, the daughter of, the grandmother of etc. would be nice.

Yes Novella lover this is---must
see tv.

Eli, hope you're feeling better. I'd like to join the group in search of some family trees for this TN. Still trying to figure out all the relationships.

At least there's no question that Fausto is eeeevil and prefers to run things around town.

Gringo, good to read your post! It seems you are not the only one trying to get all the characters down. I can see how using different nicknames doesnt help either. I had never seen Rebecca Jones either, but I think shes really good. You describ Sabine perfectly,
she does have incredible energy and she is never boring to watch, her moves are exaggerated and she really sinks her teeth into every role I have seen her in. Helena, also called Elena was married to Fausto's brother and they had a son "Mateo." Fausto's brother inherited everything when their father died. Fausto killed his brother to become the next heir. There was a scene where Fausto was passed out drunk and she kissed him tenderly on lips. So there's speculation if
Mateo could he his son. Helena believes Fausto is Abigal's father because she heard young Macaris tell Fausto he was her baby daddy. Which we all know, including Fausto that he is not Abigail's father. Thats one person in the whole town that we know for sure is not his kid. Ha!

Faucet is like the Spanish version of Casanova ,he screwed around with almost everyone in town but he still has the guts to stay! ( I feel sorry for the Horses already when they find out who their Daddy really is!)

Lucio is the spawn of Brujo And Fausto ,that would explain his losership! Even when Fausto was a Young ,agile man,he was already making babies. Just like in the Gypies today, the more kids ya make, the more social support you obtain!

Eli, I certainly hope you are feeling better. Thank you for the great recap despite feeling so poorly. Thank you to Count and to Novella Lover for filling in as well.

Like you Vivi, I am enjoying the lush scenery.

I also am struggling to understand many of the characters' relationships here. Fascinating that Lucio may be Fausto's son. Of all the actors here thus far, Lucio is doing the most outstanding work IMHO.

I cannot wait to see Fabian!

Thrilled Simona is running for the same slot as Fausto and he may perceive her as a non-threat and therefore, not relevant enough to threaten or bully.

I'm also enjoying Zuria. I had planned to watch only to see Fabian (and Laisha), but I find I'm getting drawn in.

Excellent comments all.

Diana

Thanks Novella lover and Count. I am really liking this show but I must admit that I am a sucker for
the outdoor western country sets with their beautiful ranchos. This is getting very interesting.
Love and romance, a struggle for power and who's your daddy all add up to must see tv. The gringo will be front and center esta noche.

Lost my comment..here goods again.

Snow day today due to freezing rain. I.Hate. Winter.

Eli, hope that you are feeling better today.

So..from the comments, folks are speculating that Feisty spread his evil seed far and wide. Could Mat, Diego, and Lucio all have the same daddy ? My Three Sons ???

Well i am not heavily invested on Lucio being Faustys spawn but Mat and Diego could be related by blood. And i kind of doubt it ,Vic would have shown some animosity or hatred against the Emperor but so far she's been very calm and obedient. But appearances can be deceiving since we know well what Brujo was capable off to maintain the reputation.

But it would be quite funny if all three end up being his Spawns,i would probably die of laughter!!
"Who's your Daddy? Its the Devil!"

Besides ,i am more interested in Lucios own storyline and in his wife and son,the Daddy issue comes last..

Margaret,
I respectfully but completely disagree with your post re the Wikipedia.

First, the Wiki permits spoilers. That is the site's policy. Just as you expect Caray's posters to obey its policy re no spoilers, so should Caray's posters respect the Wikipedia's position.

Secondly, some people like spoilers. So when you remove them to please yourself, you displease those who want them.

There is no way the Wikipedia can please both sides. It has chosen the "spoiler" side.

Spoilers are usually marked. If you are very concerned about not seeing them, simply direct your eyes only to the box on the side that contains the basic details, or the first graph which, in my experience, never has spoilers. Or you can rely on the IMDB for basic details - or any of what are usually many sites which can be googled.

Lastly, novelas are broadcast around the world. What is a spoiler to you, seeing a novela for the first time, will not be a spoiler for the person who has already seen it and may be checking the Wiki to verify a memory or clarify something.

A spoiler is only a spoiler if you've not yet seen an episode or not yet reached that point in a novela or you haven't finished the novela.

Everything on Caray is a spoiler for a person who has not yet seen the novela(s) in question. Que Te Perdone Dios is being broadcast first in the U.S. Would you want people to be able to delete all the summaries to date on Caray because it hasn't yet been broadcast in Mexico?

The reviewers on Caray put a lot of effort into their summaries. Those who provide content information to the Wikipedia are also putting their time and energy into their entries. How would you feel if somebody just deleted 1, 2, 5 paragraphs that you spent an hour or two composing and posting?

Since it is a lot easier to find basic details about a novela (e.g., the IMDB) than to find more detailed information (such as the complete storyline), I can't support your position at all.

I am, at the moment, doing a binge viewing of Veronica Mars. The Wiki entries have fairly complete, or at least important, details of the entire series. I can choose to "look ahead" or not - or, for that matter, consult or not the Wiki in the first place - but I would definitely be very unhappy if somebody went in and deleted information about the content of all the episodes that I have not yet seen.

Please reconsider your position.

Anon @4:20 pm EST

Nice of you to spend so much time opposing my stance regarding Wiki spoilers, but I wonder why you don't have the nerve to sign your name, but instead hide behind Anon.
While you make a few valid points, there will always be those who read the last chapter of the book first.

Margaret

Margaret,

I will ignore the ad hominem attack.

Yes, there are people who prefer to read the last chapter of the book first. They have a right to that choice. Just as you have a right to not read the last chapter first.

But you have decided that nobody should be able to read the last chapter first.

Anon
p.s. I plan to let the Wikipedia editors know I like spoilers...and suggest, if they do not already have such a policy, that they police deletions of spoilers.

Maria Sorte (Helena, Mateo's mother) played a similar role in "Fuego en la Sangre" where she had a one night self-fling with her Patrón who was totally drunk. She ended up pregnant with the main heroine of the telenovela, Sofia (Adele Noreiga) and her pregnancy and the child's birth were kept secret from everyone but the evil wicked Patrona who raised the girl as her own child but treated her like crap her whole life. Won't say anything else for fear of spoiling the story for those who haven't seen FELS.

NO Margaret and others, do not go stripping information out of Wikipedia. The rest of the world has the right to know what's happening next if they want. What is this, red China? Blog mom here with the strong recommendation that you not try to censor Wikipedia. Our blog is spoiler free but the rest of the world has the right to know everything if they want to. If YOU PERSONALLY do not want to read spoilers, then DON'T GO TO WIKIPEDIA. I don't want us to get a reputation as wiki trolls.

Kind of like Porn, if you don't like it, just don't watch it?

Just turn a blind eye to everything you don't like because what 'gets your goose' might make a fun pet for others.

Sorry Jane and Anon but i will have to disagree. This novela is an unfinished product/airing and it is also a remake so the summary might be even misleading .
The writer had no buisness throwing in baseless speculation,we are only 16 episodes in the Show ( Not to mention ,he did not put any effort into it, he has just copy pasted the Summary from ABF and changed names and adios) .
If a summary is posted when the novela stops airing it is fine by me ,i am not allergic towards spoilers but what upsetteted me more was the pisspoor editing.
If someone wishes to edit on the Wikipedia, first he must clear himself on WHAT is he writing about.
Besides Plot for now should only describe the basic setting of the story and punto. If spoilers are to be added ,they need to be atleast accurate.

CountX, I don't think it's our business to decide what other people want to read. I for one enjoy spoilers and often hunt them out so I would be annoyed to know that our crew is censoring the internet!

Jane,

I totally agree with you on this matter. To alter another website simply to suit our desires and whims is not only selfish, it is a form of immature vandalism.

Carlos

I like spoilers too when i am catching up to certain things but the show is very young and people are already writing the ending for the novela when they are not even 100% sure if is even the real one, they just took it from the Original Script and think it's fine and dandy .It is as if I copied the Plot of La Tormenta and pasted it into La Tempestad not knowing that Temp was completely revamped and it barely had any resemblances to the original script..Anyway i am done rambling about this,i will be monitoring the page for any changes.

Carlos, how are you liking the show so far,i am glad you joined us!

CountxAlacran,

There is a difference between correcting an entry and deleting contents wholesale.

I've looked at the Que Te Perdone Dios page and have several comments:

1. It should be obvious that a summary of more than one paragraph probably contains spoilers. So if one insists on visiting a Wiki page for information about a novela in spite of the fact that one doesn't like spoilers and experience with the Wiki indicates there may be spoilers, the length of the summary in itself should be a clue.

2. If the Wiki entry does not contain a spoiler warning, it is not all that difficult to put one ahead of the offending information (e.g., plot summary) as a warning to others.

3. I suspect you are correct about the writer of this particular entry. Although it is possible she/he has inside knowledge, it is more likely that this entry was more or less copied from the Abrazame page.

As a very occasional writer/editor of a Wiki entry, I remain firmly opposed to the wholesale destruction of somebody else's work, even if it is pretty much a cut-and-paste job.

But I have written to the Wiki editors to find out if there is an appropriate way to indicate that this particular content may not only contain spoilers but may also be inaccurate.
