La Sombra del Pasado #11 on Tuesday, March 3rd, 2015
Aldonza is cuddling under a blanket and comforted by Adelina.
Cris has come riding on a horse whiter than his pure soul and Adelina (in a dress greener than the envy she must have felt when Ray was with Robbie) tells him that Donnie doesn't wanna see him so he needs to hit the bricks. Cris knows something is up but he doesn't know what and says he isn't leaving until he talks with Donnie who has had enough for one day. Cris kisses at his horse and leaves. The very way Adelina whisked Cris away costs her some credibility points however.
Sev has a flashback to the night he and Rob were caught in the act and Raymundo had died. Candela and Geronimo interrupt this. Robbie tells the padre that Robbie accused him of having burned her land. Padre leaves rather dejectedly and Sev makes a call.
Addie and Donnie go back forth on this.
Humberto talks with Geronimo about wanting to buy El Sanctuario and he asks why he didn't take it up with Roberta. Puh-leese, a woman with her rep. is equivalent to an untouchable.
Lola has made refresco and Dominga asks for who it is. It's for the workers, outside is too balmy! Dominga and Lola talk about Lola's work search and not knowing Manny worked with them. Domi snaps her fingers and sends her to go find work, andale!
Jero wants to talk with Roberta. It's about an offering to buy El Sanctuario and then Donnie and Addie come down stairs.
Candie and SeveredArmo talk about El Sanctuario; they're not buying it anumore. Candie is pissed but Sev has a plan on how it shall be theirs. Mel comes in informing the two he put Manny to work in the stables which triggers Candie's anger. Sev counteracts that.
Donnie is cleaning up some when Addie has to go run some errands.
Val and Candie are together at a cafe discussing Donnie's disappearance and not pressuring Cristobal. (Add one more to the PVAA reunion; Denisse/Barbara/Domenica/Paola played by Thelma Madrigal.)
Addie calls PJ from a payphone. He thanks God she called him and asks where they are. She didn't wanna leave the way she did but she wanted to let him they're OK. Don't tell anyone about their whereabouts. They can confide in PJ.
Robbie has bought Donnie a laptop because school. She wants to start a new leaf and shows MAJOR remorse for all her past BS.
Donnie is walking her way to Administration when a dork named Patricio is caught by her eye. His girlfriend has come telling him to leave Donnie alone.
Cris is tossing rocks into the manantial when Manny comes up to asks him what's up.
In the type-cast, penitentiary-looking school from Alma de Hierro, the new girl and Pat's GF chat.
Manny and Pandowdy have a bro-chat.
Donnie is registering for SocialBook.
Dominga has breakfast ready but it looks like Candie is breaking her fast alone because Sev is busy and Cris doesn't wanna talk. Dominga says that Cris is in love.
Cris is SocialBooking Aldonza Alcocer-Lozada when Candie is right behind him and AS USUAL, demands to know what he is doing.
- Donnie buzzes about the dead not rising from their tombs and her love for Cris. Also that the old Aldonza has died.
- Pandowdy has found Donnie and messages her much to her surprise.

I thought surely Roberta hit Sev with that shot(?) I was shocked (and sickened) he arose without a scratch. What a shame there was only one bullet!
Another terrible day for Roberta and her family. I loved the scene where Roberta gifted Aldonza with the computer and her sweet and joyous embrace of her mother. I think Aldonza is fast becoming one of my favorites. The actress has a sweet countenance and is doing a wonderful job. And. Susana is hitting it out of the park every single night.
Candy on the other hand is so robotic, her perpetual sneers, grimaces and simmering anger beneath the surface are becoming rather tiresome. Are there any other facets to this grim character?
I look forward to the rest CS!
Diana
Were there no more bullets or did the gun jam? In any case, I knew Sever would not be down for the count for long if at all.
This horror seems to have finally convinced Roberta to put Aldonza first. I don't think Roberta had ever really gifted Aldonza anything, judging by her reaction. And her complete turnaround in now wanting Aldonza to go to university, when before she was against it. At least some good things are coming from this whole f'd up situation.
Stay off the grid, Aldonza! If Cris can find you, then Cande and Sever can find you!
Diana- Cande did used to have happy moments and more to here character when this started. But the years have just made her more and more bitter. And the one thing/person who used to bring her joy, Cris, is now slipping out of her grasp, which just makes her more bitter.
Last night's episode was a great follow up! I found it even more interesting when I realized that in El Manantial, there's a time jump so I don't think a lot of these scenes exist. I thought that was great because it really responds to the shift in technology; the added scnes are the computer gift and the SocialBook stuff. So far the remakes been almost an exact replica, which is a testimony to the strength and quality of the original version.
I loved Susan on Monday, but I almost loved her more last night. Every thing she did gave me more insight into Roberta's character, in such subtle ways. She played the computer scene perfectly: it was clear that she rarely, if ever, gives her daugther gifts. Rather than a shy hesitation though, it was just tentative. She's not used to gift giving and she's not sure about technology in general either.
Oops! Gotta run.
Is there someone we should contact if we can help with Tuesday recaps?
I'm impressed. She really did make a decision...not exactly unexpected, but pretty darn sudden...that changed the course of the show.
I didn't think I could like Severiano any less, but he really rose...uh...sank to the occasion last night. And I wish I could disagree with him, but he was right--reputation is everything in that town, his reputation is sterling, and hers is utter crap so she's never going to be able to accuse him of anything and make it sink.
As for the whole bit about finishing with Aldonza what he started with Roberta and how she should be flattered to have gained his "attentions," F that noise.
Diana and Vivi, I thought the gun was out of bullets, but I don't really know.
HellaShelle that was one of my favorite moments as well. Roberta was so vulnerable. And doing that thing again that Raymundo talked about...she wants affection, but pulls back from it. My email address is in my profile.
Ditto Diana I loved the scene where Roberta gifted Aldonza with the computer and her sweet and joyous embrace of her mother. Yes, that was special.
We see the opposite with the robotic and perpetually sneering (great description, Diana!) Cande hanging over Cris's shoulder as he tries to bring up Aldonza on "SocialBook." Uuuuuf! These damned over-bearing mothers! I guess we're in for a whole lotta this kind of meddling! *sigh* Well, it's better than murder and rape.
I hope Aldonza's new friend...didn't catch her name...teaches her how to block people.
I guess these novelas would be more like two-hour movies if people put locks on their bedroom doors, or even just closed them!
I don't know why Dominga said that, but I wanted to shush her! Maybe she didn't think it was Aldonza? Which is kind of rude, since she's been gone from town for five minutes, so it's not like he moved on already! Or maybe she just thinks it's cute and is being willfully ignorant about Candela's hate for Aldonza and her family? She still thinks of Candela as that little girl she helped raise, so maybe she's got a bit of a blind spot about her and doesn't want to see what an ugly person she's become.
Diva, I think you are qualified to comment on her acting. What do you think?
On Candela's ice: I was thinking about that last night. She and Roberta are polar opposites, fire and ice (well, flipped). When Roberta's upset, she literally lights up - cigarettes, shacks. She's all passion. Cande on the other hand is all calm and collected. She's the cool head in the midst of the firestorm. It's what's always made her insecure about Roberta's overt sexuality and unbridled sensuality - Cande's never let loose like that. Ironically, it's her calm collection that make people look up to her. Her ability to mange things, unruffled by chaos, is what gives her the position in town that Rob so dearly wants.
Well,I guess that it isn't so easy to kill the devil. Severed is despicable. I cannot believe that the shot completely missed him, but he still fell off his horse. In Pasion, a villain kept losing body parts...first his arm, then an eye, and finally his head. Perhaps that would be an appropriate fate for Severed. Severed's living room and staircase is the same as the one in the governor's palace in Pasion. That staircase is very impressive.
Roberta has become a tragic figure. Her beauty has not saved her from falling deeper and deeper into trouble.
I was surprised at how quickly Roberta, Aldonza, and Aldena left town . The scene in which Roberta gave Aldonza the laptop was sweet and moving. It was like a symbol of Aldonza turning the page and moving forward. Sometimes, one must stop staring at the page and turn to the next page. It might be a very interesting page. I am glad to see AL starting college and making some new friends. What are Roberto and ALdina going to do in the new town ?
She's seriously fabulous. All the tiny little changes in expression and the way she conveys that there are a LOT of things going on at once. Like that moment when Aldonza says they're leaving...she nods in encouragement, but she's also crying because it's sad that they should have to. And when Padre G hands her the check, you can see her absorb that "ok this is a good amount" but she never stops conveying that she's anxious. And when Aldonza and Adelina come down the stairs, she starts to look hopeful.
And I can't stop comparing that to TSTSNBN when they had all those loooooong pauses and someone would just scowl and look as if they didn't even know WHY they were scowling, because they sure weren't feeling any emotion.
add me to the list of folks who was baffled at Dominga telling Cande that her son was in love.
I am glad that I have The Voice to bring my spirits up after watching this show.
I'm enjoying the comments. I wish I had more to add!
Ditto all the praise for Susana. She is absolutely amazing and mesmerizing.
I *love* that technology has been incorporated!!!!!
hellashelle-I loved your observation about fire and ice. It's perfect!
The funny thing about Susana G. is that according to Jarocha, folks weren't that impressed with her acting in her earlier tns. But over the years she has improved by leaps and bounds. I'm glad to have discovered her in her later years, because she is one of my favorites, even when I don't like her character.
susanlynn, I don't know what Roberta and Adelina are going to do, but I hope it's something. I know Roberta said they had enough to live off of if they live quietly, but I don't know if I trust her budgeting skills, and a fixed amount has to run out sometime.
I'd love to see the two of them open a dress shop...or a bar :)
When they flashed back to Ray's death I was reminded of his "WTF" expression and impressed all over again.
Gosh I love this show.
Corazon, thank you so much for today's recap. Very poetic opening and well done!
I saw and felt nothing but profound sadness in the Monday and Tuesday episodes. I feel sadness now only from the three women, but Emanuel's sadness touches me deeply.
Humberto has reached a new low for me from which he will never recover (as if he cares). It SICKENED me when he gave Padre the check. It SICKENED me to see this man aid and abet all of Severiano's cruelty and abuse.
Humberto is a worthless, spineless, hen-pecked jerk who deserves an anvil JUST as great as the ones waiting for Severiano and his pathetic and cold wife. I now totally and completely despise Humberto. I hope he suffers greatly in the end.
It was heart wrenching to see Aldonza's face as she came down the stairs with her little suitcase. To leave a place that one loves with all their heart, is painful to the core. I know this feeling too well and that feeling was difficult to watch last night.
Fatima
Anyway, I think she goes awesome work with her scriptless acting. Even that tiny scene when they arrive in their new city and step outside of the transit center. She lights up a cigarette and Aldonza and Adelina look at her like "really? more of the same?" but Roberta's like "what? what's the big deal?" But it's when she first lights up and then looks away again that you can almost see a teenaged version of her, always on the bad side of things, lighting up to look tougher than the barbs people throw at her, trying to hide how scared and lost she feels by leading the way. The trembling hands and lips that speak to a lifetime of tension, of jumping in before checking the water level. Ooh! I loved it!
Vivi- I agree that is was great to see Aldonza going to school and with her head held high.
The first time I saw her was in Pasion and I loved her and could not understand why there was so much criticism. She is growing with each successive role and I am happy for her and for us who get to watch her bring this character to life so stirringly nightly.
Diana
My first (real*)experience with her was the unlikable Cynthia in LQNPA. So unlikeable that I had to stop watching!
Then I saw her again in AV and adored her.
That was followed up with PSMA and again I was awed.
*She was barely present in the PVAA Dvd that I watched, but I've heard she was great in that, too.
Whew, so glad they left town.
Christobal - what, your car can't follow a bus
Aldonza - yeah, somebody already friended me, ma, wa, what's a camwhore?
Severiano - who's the man Candy, come on, who's the man now
Candela - stop it Candy, his cool indifference is not hot
Emmanuel - my hat's better bro
Humberto - been saving my lunch money
Roberta - it was time to downsize to a condo
Did anyone else think that it was Sev that fronted the money to Humberto for that sale? (tofie's comment reminded me.)
Just one more thing to hang over Humberto's head.
Also, hellashelle I love the fire and ice imagery and love your comment at 10:33. The imagery you use is so vivid and alive!
Lila- Yes. SG was the lead in Pasion.
Pasion, S.O.S., La Que No Podia Amar, and Sombra are the shows I've seen Susana in. I don't remember being super-impressed in Pasion, but I liked her. I barely remember S.O.S. (Sexo y Otros Secretos), which was an episodic weekly drama about a group of friends...there was sex, that's about all I remember and probably only because that's in the title! La Que No Podia Amar, she did well with the character, but only got to show a little bit of range. And in this one, she's just...well, she's having all the feels and it's wonderful to watch!
tofie, thanks for bringing up the bus! How many buses leave this town on a daily basis? He couldn't just look at the sign on the front? Or ask someone at the ticket counter where the bus was headed?
I wasn't even suspicious about Humberto, now that I think about it. I took it at face value that he was making the purchase on his own behalf and was looking forward to Severiano finding out that no, he can't have that land because someone bought it already. Duh on me! I know he has the money, but Fatima's right...he's spineless. It's not likely that he would buy the land he knows his BFF (Blackmailer Friend Forever?) wants for himself.
"We didn't speak about this last episode, but I thought it was interesting that when Humberto reconsidered letting Emmanuel work for Sever, he seemed to be fantasizing about Sever growing real feelings for Emmanuel and even growing to respect him more than Cris by showing his hard work. Humberto is living in some kind of fantasy land if he thinks that will happen. Unless, as someone mentioned, Sever manages to turn Emmanuel evil. Emmanuel seems too sweet for that, though. Although he's so needy for affection and acknowledgement."
Yes. This is going to be an interesting story line. I'm getting the impression that everything is being said for a reason. I hope they do go down this trail, but I hope that Emmanuel does not go to the dark side.
This TN is such a short time has really hit it out of the ballpark on acting, directing, you name it. Been awhile since I was so impressed with a show in just the first couple weeks. I always shudder at remakes, and though this one seems to be holding to the original in intent, it doesn't have that rehash feeling. And I love the details putting it into the 21st century.
I actually found Seve's calm & cool demeanor while working at his desk far more disgusting then when he first left Aldonza or gloating at Roberta. Showing what he had just done to an innocent young girl didn't faze him in the least. His anvil went three sizes in that scene ( and Alexis just nailed it.)
I'm sure Lady Macbeth will be pleased to here both her problems have left town. Now what will she occupy her time to take the place of her bitterness?
Daisynjay
I was confused about Severed getting hit with a bullet, because if he did NOT, then why did he fall off his horse? We never saw any hint of a wound.
It was surprising that the gun fired, at all, after veinte años of being buried in the mud without a waterproof seal, etc. That thing should have been rusted out.
I think it only had one bullet. The second shot was an empty click. Roberta is not organized enough to make sure she had bullets.
I figured all along that Humberto was the front man for Severed buying Roberta's land.
Cande's hair IS the polar opposite of Roberta's. Telenovelaland stylists give us very good visuals that define the characters.
My eyes fixate on Cande's hair, pulled back so severely that I wince and wonder if that's why she's so crabby. Just looking at that hair scraped back gives me a headache.
Oooh, "SocialBook" because they can't say Facebook. And we just know Cris & Aldonza will find each other on it!
The only other telenovela in which I've seen Susana Gonzales was AV. She is definitely doing a fantastic job with this role!!!
In the scene (Monday night?) where Emmanuel and Roberta are talking, I wondered if there might be a teensy weensy bit of llamada de la sangre, maybe more on his side than hers. That was such a touching scene.
Here in La Sombra, it's interesting to see a main character (Roberta) smoking all the time. I really cannot remember seeing people smoking in any of the 'novelas I've watched, since I started watching them 13 years ago. But then, I don't watch as many as most of y'all.
Good point on Cande still keeping busy being the perfect image of a TN meddling mother. My guess is she'll have her claws into him quick to hook up with someone else ( and guesses who that winds up being?)
Daisynjay
Oh, and Corazon Thank You for the most excellent recap.
Am off to Spanish class, median age is mid 70's. It is truly a riot and our teacher (who is 91) is ""Santa Marita" She truly is a saint. Love that woman.
I LOVE-LOVE-LOVE this novela and will be sooooo sad when Susana bows out to let Aldonza carry on the story.
I'm afraid that I'm beginning to sound like a broken record or that I'm too redundant in my comments but I have noticed that on every day so far there is nothing but praise for Susana Gonzalez. I have never seen an actress that has been so mesmerizing. She draws me to the screen like no one has ever done before, I just LOVE her.
Trembling lips? I guessed that I missed that little Susana touch last night. This actress is truly one in a million. Well, everyone has their favorites and SG is mine
It went over my head last night because I don't understand Spanish---I thought that they were just leaving for a week or two to get Aldonza enrolled in college and to make sure that everything went ok. DAMN!! Roberta
lost the rancho, the beautiful waterfall and all of her land. That rat bastard disciple of satan
won. Why does evil always win?
Did I get it wrong? Was Aldonza being hit on during her first day in school? It looked like it.
I was practically yelling---FOLLOW THE BUS!!! What was wrong with him?
Obviously there was one bullet in the chamber of the gun--she missed
I couldn't believe it but I guess that we will have that one arm rat bastard to contend with for quite some time.
QUE??? Cris, you didn't hear mama come in? CLOSE YOUR COMPUTER!!!
You're going to let mommy read your emails to Aldonza whom she hates? Wake up Cris.
the gringo
By the way, I love that they made up SocialBook since they obviously didn't want to get in trouble with Facebook. :)
I think the gun fired one round because there was a round in the chamber, but the slide mechanism was rusted, so it wouldn't reload itself.
I'm enjoying the acting and the plot as all of you have said. Compared to our last one, this is heaven.
Gringo, even though we didn't use up our anvils on TSTSNBM, I think we may still need more for this one.
David
And right again about the unused anvils. They surely will be put to good use on this show. It's a good thing that we didn't sell off the inventory and close down the business.
the gringo
Gobbling yogurt while I read comments. Just want to say, I do love the incredible nuance of Susana G.'s performance. The scene with the stranger lighting her cigarette in a bar was almost like a little tragedy contained in 20 seconds.
I also am loving the theme song. A pleasure to have it replaying in my head all day. The artist has a beautiful mature voice, just right for this show.
Must run!
J in Oregon
Did we pretty much cover everything? Is everyone caught up and prepared for tonight?
So it's 4pm, but the show doesn't air until 7? I'd better not spend too much mental energy on that. It'll all be different next week and I'll have to figure it all out again. I like that AZ doesn't do Daylight Savings Time, but it still changes my TV schedule.
"The scene with the stranger lighting her cigarette in a bar was almost like a little tragedy contained in 20 seconds."
That was my favorite scene. It took my breath away.
David
J in O: Yes, the whole bar scene was amazing! She can certainly deliver her lines with all of the necessary emotion, but that scene, in which she doesn't say anything with any words, just her eyes and the way she carries herself is just...amazing. Her tears, her posture...everything just screams to her vulnerability, this desperate quality that grips your own heart. Man! She is GOOD!!!
And Eli, you are so right! She is definitely covering up too, but of all the people that will know and the consequence of jail, I think her reaction to Sev's mentioning it all after she tried to shoot it speaks to the fact that her daughter knowing is the thing that would crush her. The town be damned, she's already lost to them, but her baby is another thing altogether.
That convo with Adelina in which she says she doesn't want what happened to her to happen to Aldonza is another great example. I love when she talks about the lies playing over and over again in her/Aldonza's head and basically makes the schoolyard action for crazy (circling your finger around your ear) because you can see how that has unhinged her. She's just incredible.
David..I am with you. I am pretty proud of myself for being able to comment. I do not know how to make one of those picture thingies. I also never use the laptop or desktop anymore because it is so much easier to let my fingers do the walking (typing) on the IPad..so user friendly. Hub has a phone that he just talks into and it types bout the text.I cannot imagine what technology we will be using in 20 years.
I wanted to comment on something that I've noticed on the 'Que Te Perdone Dios' page that I am noticing (but to a much lesser extent, but that being only because I think that artistic merit is being the saving feature in this regard), here with 'La Sombra del Pasado' page
Anyways, it's all given me enough pause-for-thought, if not anxiety (admittedly, I'm a rather neurotic person ;-) ) that I wanted to mention it to you all, as I enjoy the various 'patios' and in-general 'communities' here on 'CarayCaray' immensely, and am interested in your varying thoughts, and feedback...
I speak of the revulsion that so many of you have to violence in the shows that you are watching.
This bothers me in many ways... and not in the LEAST that I am some sadist or any such creature... but because I worry at your collective responses in regards to the quality of shows that we get on our varying Telenovela-producing networks.
Because, I, for one, have no tolerance for the saccharine-sweet, diabetes-inducing 'comedies' such as MCET. Indeed, I have since been subjected to re-runs of both 'La Fea Mas Bella', 'La Familia con Suerte', and 'Marido en Alquiler' and, in EACH case (and I KNOW that I am a minority in this respect but, still, being a minority does NOT mean that my voice does not matter) but, in each case, I felt somewhat INSULTED by what I was watching... OVER-acting (I couldn't BELIEVE that the same over-acting Daniela Castro as Pina was the same woman as in LQLVMR, amongst other protagonista roles), stock characters (as a gay man, I wanted to bitch-slap every 'gay character' on these shows as-were-presented), cheap sets, and just, in general... BAD! I recall a saying- I don't know by whom- saying that "one can never go wrong by appealing to the lowest common denominator in us all" (or words to that effect. THIS... seems to me, to be the state of telenovelas as they now stand.
It's because of the reactions and the responses from people HERE (who I respect) at what they are watching....
Namely:
"TOO violent!"
"Unnecessary!"
"TOO dark!"
"I am fast-forwarding!!!!"
This bothers me immensely. I will now tell you why, but (if you will forgive me), would prefer to use an analogy....
It has been widely accepted that, of all of the works of William Shakespeare, 'King Lear' is one of, if not his ULTIMATE work. 'Hamlet' may be the greater PLAY, but 'Lear' is perhaps his greatest work. Why?
Because 'Hamlet' is more intensely PERSONAL. It is, in essence, a FAMILY drama that we see unfold, and the emotions, etc. are likewise what appeal to us PERSONALLY.
With Lear... his scope is bigger. There is a reason why the darkness and savagery in Lear is as BLACK and as EVIL as it is.... the heroes in 'Lear' are... not just old men, but FATHERS, and trusting old men.... and those that do evil unto them are their own FLESH AND BLOOD- healthy, and whom they have TRUSTED! And the evil done unto them is FAR and BEYOND what is done in Hamlet. In what other literary drama can you find two young, virile, characters (Regan and Cornwall) GAUGING THE EYES OUT of an old man who was- PREVIOUSLY- someone they respected???
I argue that, as in Lear- where dark is SO DARK (for this reason, in reference to Shakespearean villains, there is little mention of Goneril & Regan... because they are just SHEER BLACKNESS and EVIL, not even possessing of the intriguing or charming qualities of Iago or Edmund), but, as in Lear, we enter a word- be it the rapes of Severiano in LSDP (which, BTW, were likewise perpetuated by his 'El Manantial' counterpart Justo), or the crimes of Fausto/Lucio in QTPD (which, likewise, were perpetuated in AMF by Cesar Evora's Federico (indeed, in AMF, 'Fredy's' counterpart 'Chiquilin' was even YOUNGER), put us into a darker place...
BUT..... the reason why 'Lear' is considered such a magnificent work of human achievement is... BECAUSE of all of this BLACKNESS, all of this DARK... at the end, you (the reader) is aware that those characters that suffered through all of this.... that they achieved something- an awareness, a sentiment- some such thing- that was so BEAUTIFUL that ALL OF THAT SUFFERING became somewhat... worthwhile.
For ME.... in my novelas... I want my baddies to be BAD. I WANT (and NOT because I'm some sort of sadist or anything), but I WANT horrible and unseemly things to be done to those protagonists that I have grown to care about.... AND, what's more.... the WORSE, the BETTER... BECAUSE, I have FAITH, that in the end... ALL WILL BE REDEEMED. (Hell, 'King Lear' couldn't even say that... it remains magnificent because we feel that all suffering and turmoil was worth it for how everybody turned out... even WITH them all still dying!!!).
So... PLEASE... DO NOT threaten to write your networks if what you are seeing is displeasing to you. Instead, turn to re-runs of 'La Fea Mas Bella', or some such crowd-pleasing tripe (I know I should probably look for a better term here, but, in this instance, the phrase 'calling a 'spade' a 'f**king shovel' just seems to apply so perfectly) and, instead, let the writers to their job!!! AND... just take solace in the fact that they will reward your patience, in the end. Christ, has there ever BEEN a novela where 'evil' triumphs, totally and completely???
NO! So... let these bad things happen to these people we grow to care about. TRUST ME.... like in 'Lear', it'll make the END, SO MUCH MORE satisfying...
Thank you all for letting me get this off my chest. And.... please... KEEP WATCHING, LOVING, RESPONDING, AND COMMENTING!!!
With my continued best wishes to you all...
Siate felice,
Stevey :-)
Were you lurking during La G*ta vs. Sombra? Because we were mostly HATING the stupidity and unreality of LG, whereas even though Sombra is dark and it's not fun to watch the violence, that's coming bundled with a lot of good stuff. So I'm not sure who you're talking to, because I haven't seen anybody here complaining and wanting to write the network, based on this show. It was the LAST one that made us want to storm the castle with pitchforks.
And I apologize if I sound like I'm speaking for everybody, but I think this probably reflects the opinions of most of the regular commenters.
Yeah, the last few episodes were difficult to watch, but we're all here for each other and we've made it through ok so far.
(And do I need to say again that even if you're out there, in Lurkerland, and you happen to not agree with 99% of the people posting, you are STILL welcome!)
I enjoy the cuter, sweet TNs... but I lurve me some dark TNs too.
