Mi corazon es tuyo #166, Thursday 03/12/15 Is this your best shot, Isabella?
Labels: mcet
I was actually expecting something far more dastardly than a bunch of stupid sound effects, but Hissabela's failure in this just opens the door to it. Her last stand will have to be something nasty, especially with Yomama defecting to the enemy side.
More later.
Luz was my little star last night. She broke my heart when she thanked her mom and God for the wedding so that Ana would never leave her.
Mau is an adorable little child. I agree -- way too concerned about Leon and Fanny but cute as a button and a good little actor nonetheless.
The wedding turned out to be funny and fun. Diego was great and once again Mayrin was very good as the comic villain.
Now for some more mayhem as the happy couple is at last hitched.
Loved the whole thing from Diego's practical joke to a frustrated Isabella. The goofy comedic tone was perfect.
Jarifa
I watched purposefully last night more to see if the wedding actually happened. After watching La Sombra, I was hoping there would be some humor or Diego, and for once we got a nice balance of both.
Love the Diego song and Mar was an absolute hoot with her dancing. I agree, she must have had a blast doing those scenes.
Is it me, or has Luz grown quite a bit. Lord, last night in the bedroom scene, she looked older than the twins. Quite the little actress and a sweet ending in that scene with her thanking her mother.
I'm actually not looking forward to a Jen/Johny/Nico conversation and I certainly don't want to watch fanny breaking it off with Lenin. I'll look forward to our wonderful recappers filling me in.

and also when Diego finally arrived and waited a few moments after he said he protested the wedding ... 'how come you were going to begin without me?... and my gift!?'
I LOVED LOVED Jorge's facial expression changing form confusion to being miffed at Diego for what he was saying about protesting the wedding... to a 'you gotta be kidding me!!' when Diego finally said (with a huge smile on his face) 'you were going to start without me??'
also Jorge/Fernando's dancing at the end of that ranchera, which is the song of the ring tone for Ana on Diego's phone.
I believe this song came up early on when Diego proposed to Ana outside her little green house when he brought the ballet dancers.
Thanks so much for the big detailed recap! I missed much of the episode so I appreciated it even more than usual.
Ana looked lovely, I enjoyed the scene of the outdoor wedding. Agree that Isa is losing her touch if a Mr Microphone and some sleeping powder was all she could come up with for her big revenge! Can't wait to see what's next, but hard to imagine what they are going to do with this show for two more weeks.

enjoyable than seeing it.
But I'm getting annoyed with Ana always jumping on Fernando kissing him a million times, yelling at the top of her lungs.
Annooooooyinggggg!!!

The dastardly plan to stop the wedding was pretty disastrous. I thought Isa had better tricks up her sleeves.
Makeup job on Isa amazing!
Loved that Diego came in and sang and all is right in the world.
I wonder if Ana's dress was very simple so that the dress at the inevitable church wedding can be over the top.
Tonight's episode should be filled with lots of drama. Looking forward to it. Though not looking forward to Lenin's heart being broken.
As for what needs to happen in the next two weeks:
-- the big DNA reveal
-- Dorofeo's scheme, defeat, and Karmageddon
-- discovery that Isabruja caused Sebas' accident
-- Isabrua's last stand, defeat, and Karmageddon
-- Jenny adopting Aurora
-- Ana getting pregnant
-- the final resolution about Yomama
-- Fanny's choice
Did I forget anything?
Speculation, not spoiler: I think that Yomama will reveal the truth before Ana and Fernando find out some other way. She will convince them that she was afraid of Isabully or she would have told them sooner. Ana has already forgiven her for the impersonation so Fernando has to forgive her for this.
She will get to move into the mansion to help take care of the only grandchild she will ever have.
Thanks Adriana.
The other advantage JS has is that he stays handsome when crying.

LOL!!! so true!!!!
i thought he reminded me of Jorge Enrique Abello in YSBLF (when Armando read the diary).
I did like how they brought Diego back, semi-parachute act, singing, and all. Very appropriate for the Diego character. Why didn't the makeup department do such an equally good job on Isa's "man" makeup for Chicago?
Thank you Adriana for such a funny recap which was more entertaining to me than the episode. I liked the Diego return, Isabruja's dancing up the aisle (oh what fun that was to watch), and all things Luz. The rest I could do without.
Not quite sure how to count your vote for the 2nd reveal? From previous comments I have you down as:
* Medical emergency,
* Through eavesdropping and maybe the twins video tape it,
* IkkyLizard while fighting with Fernando,
* Yoyomama
Some i would watch depending on the project:
Kate del Castillo (if she stopped doing the naco ones and came back to pure drama), Mark Tacher (depends on character. i can't stand the plot of the QTPD so can't watch that...)
Marta: agree about the kids. They are all fine actors. I especially love the actor playing Mau. He's so cute and adorable and such a good little actor, he kind of freaks me out. I loved how he told Leon what to say to Fanny.
Typical Isa to mess up her stop the wedding plot. What a doofus!
Loved Ana's dress. Very Grecian lines. And it was just the kind of wedding I would expect Ana to have. Loved it, too.
Nanette
I've enjoyed all of the children's performances.
I'd like to see the Fanny actress again, too.
Loved Ana's dress. Very Grecian lines.
ITA. i loved it too, very 'greek/roman goddess' style which suits her normal hairstyle.
Also appropriate for a wedding in mid-day/daytime at an intimate location like the home garden. If it were at night or at the beach i would have expected something different, or if it had been a big event.
I've almost finished watching "La Mentira" on YouTube with Kate del Castillo; her real life father, Eric del Castillo; Guy Ecker; and the late Karla Álvarez as the antagonist.
So many of you recommended KdC that I watched LRdS and, although I hate narco-novelas, I loved her in LRdS. I'm liking her even more in LM which is turning out to be a great novela for me. And although Guy Ecker isn't on my favorite male actors' list, he is very likeable, for once in LM.
LM is a previous version of the great CME. LM is tightly written in the old novela style without a dozen parallel stories or plots happening at the same time and hasn't resorted to the typical tn clichés. I would definitely put LM up high on my favorites list.
I can't wait to watch "Romana" with the late EP and KdC.
I continue to find Isa hilarious. That dance she did in the aisle up to Diego had me rolling! What kind of dance was that..lol. I can't remember who said it yesterday but Mayrin is great at comedic villiany. Need more of her.
No, I had no idea these things were going to happen. Or that the chauffeur's name would be ZEUS. Still need to do something with that.
ITA with all of you who liked Ana's dress. She looked beautiful, although she almost ruined it by screeching.
I also TA with those of you who think Maryn is an excellent comedic villain. Well done, Isabruja! I am very curious about DN's future.
Well, Diego certainly knows how to make a grand entrance!
Urban, thank you for the music explanation. I've been watching tns for most of my life, but I still can't tell their music apart.
Great job on describing what is left to be discovered in the last two weeks. the DN reveal will be the hardest to go through, I'm so happy that Ana and Fer are happily married, this way we get to see them act as a true couple, something we so rarely see in tns.
Victoria, La Mentira is one of my favorite tns. I loved everything about it. When it first aired Guy Ecker was a favorite of mine (I still like him, but I haven't seen him in something truly good in a long time).
Televisa is planning another remake for later this year. In case I'm not mistaken the leads will be Ana Brenda and Ivan Sanchez.
I hope you like Ramona. I had high expectations with that one, but it ended up disappointing me.
I can't wrap my head around Televisa making a remake of CME, which is a remake of LM, and other previous versions. It seems like yesterday that CME aired. And I will pass up Ana Brenda Conteras.
Is Televisa really that hard up for scripts that they are resorting to remakes of telenovelas that are only a few years old????
I hate what Urban calls "unconventional" endings--meaning knight doesn't get princess. But I'm prepared for the ending of Ramona. I was upset and sick about the ending of La Virgen Esposa and swore off bad endings, but can't resist KdC and EP.
Interesting that this comes up just as I posted what I hope will be a killer weekend topic. Hope someone takes me up on the challenge!
