"our perverse duo scurry about" and "morbidly-obese-in-volume wedding dress" were my favorites.

I agree with Vivi who said yesterday this is the first time a married galan has been pursued by the lead. And shamelessly too! I realize Abi knows Diana is cheating on Mateo but is what she is doing to and with Mateo much better?

"He feels awful and had never had it occur to him that this would be so". Ummm, really, Mateo?? You know the girl is in love with you. She has told you dozens of times already and you are taking full advantage! Stop it. Now.

To answer your question, Macaria has steeled her heart and soul. Rarely do we see a smidgen of guilty conscience from her. Perhaps when Abi was born she felt a bit badly because she had done so much harm to Renata, her supposed friend. One or two instances but very few and far between.

Pretty savvy of Fausto to ask everyone at the bar if they had seen Lucio. Not too smart getting caught in the shower. What was Diana thinking? In her own bedroom shower??

I wonder when we are going to see Max's tio?

Mateo is soooo getting played by Diana & Fausto. Poor dude doesn't even know it!


 

Great first part, Corazon. That Dianaconda sure is slippery. The dynamics in that household are all kinds of screwed up! Fausto sleeping with his son's wife. Abi and MARRIED Mateo doing their mating dance. Dr. Pat openly wooing MARRIED Renata. Fausto lusting after his step-daughter Abi. Abi's adopted mother Mac pimping her out to her lover Fausto. I think Padre should just set himself up in that household full time to root out the sin.

Funniest moment of the episode-- Tono telling Simona that Motor's secret love is Max! Ha! The looks on both Motor's and Simona's faces were priceless.

Once again though, it was Laisha's (Ximena/Daniela) short scenes that drew me in. I'm fascinated that Ximena takes her poor mentally ill sister out of the manicomio from time to time to take over her life. Two years with Pat and their daughter! No wonder she has delusions that she is actually Ximena. This should be interesting as Daniela takes over Ximena's life again AND pursues Dr. Pat.
 

Thanks Corazon .As for Mateo., i think the dude is like blind or kind of stupid, because everyone has told him Abi is in love with him. To make it worse everybody is playing him and he is not aware of anything that is going on around

Dianaconda the snake has her dumb bunny husband right where she wants him. He hasn't the slightest
idea that he's being played. I wonder what the anaconda's end goal is?

I've been enjoying this often distressing TN up until now, but last night's episode promises TN Nirvana for me. My favorite TN actress, Laisha Wilkins, as twins, one a little evil and the other a bit crazy. It looks like poor Dr. Pat will really have his hands full as my cup runneth over. Be still my heart.

So far I'm not impressed with the good Dr.'s skills given the two cases we've witnessed... he killed one pt. and the other is still blind. Does he deserve a... Next!?

Macaria showed a bit of solidarity with Lucio by referencing the time he saved her life when Fausto was choking her. Lucio said he had the gun.

Meliton, Benito and Macaria know Lucio is alive. Diego didn't show up at Meli's jacal, too, did he?

Diana is becoming a caricature at this point, I hope that gets dialed down. Her whole MO is too smart to be turning off Mat so badly. She wouldn't kill the golden goose by being too classist or greedy (in front of him). Then again, she may be lulled into a false sense of security after 3 years of his dimwittedness.

Speaking of, he actually figured out he loves Abi. I'm truly shocked. If it weren't for Abi suffering so much, I would say, "No way! You made your dumb bed with Diana, now go lie in it. Just tell Fausto, Julio and the rest of the crowd to move over!" But I hate to see Abi pining away.

Yeah, I felt sorry for Diego not even being assured the number two spot in Abi's heart. Maybe it's because he's perpetually on the verge of tears.

ITA it was hilarious when Tono said Motor was in love with Max! That misunderstanding should be good for some funny moments, especially involving Max.

I loved the additional back story with the twins! Wouldn't that be truly convenient to be able to bring in a back up for your life sometimes? But of course not fair to Daniela who must stay cooped up. Maybe Dr. Pat/Sean Bean will live to be with Daniela at novela's end, in spite of incurring so much Fausto-wrath.

Amazing the way Renata strides around her place so confidently. She must have one heck of an internal GPS and nobody EVER leaves something out of place.

Vivi, good summation of the household dynamics at Chez Hacienda. And once we know who Bruno's offspring is, and who Diego's progenitors are, that will add some extra nuances, I'm sure. Oh yeah, and Helena didn't come off too well (IMHO) with the bald-faced lies to Mateo about his father. All parties to that situation were at the table to cenar.

Vivi, I agree with everything you said. Especially, how she throwing herself at him and offers herself to him as mistress. It does not go with her no-nonsense gutsy persona. However, since she and everyone knows and accepts that her mom is Fausto's lover since forever because she luvvvvvvv's Faurto so much, even Renata is aware, well I guess she figures she loves Mateo the same way and will settle. Also, she is always adamant in telling Mateo every chance she gets that she loves him, prays for him, to marry her, she goes on and on...always...always even when she is mad at him. She is planting those seeds with Mateo big time, and he can't stop thinking about her. Its working in her favor. He must be thinking Guau!!! She loves me enough
to be my mistress, although he would not let himself use her like that because he cares/loves Abi. But it probably will, and he will get a taste of making "real love". He is on verge of getting "unwhipped" from Diana. Gotta admit Di been sounding more shallow everyday and he is noticing!

Gringo, yes I would call those kisses between Mateo and Abi, even if they are interrupted.
