4/14 Tue #168 Hasta el Fin Del Mundo – Fifty Shades of Iker
Episode really jumped around tonight so I liberally moved things around.
Slimy Geronimo insists Sofia share what’s bugging her. She stupidly tells him her relationship with
Chava is over and rushes off. This is
music to his ears.
Back at Empresa
Ripoll
The chisme is all over the secretarial pool. They’re discussing how Chava left in tears. When Patricio walks by, they act like nothing’s going on but Noemi
tells him the chisme. She’s sure Chava
and Sofia are over.
Depa de Irais
Matias comes looking for Jobeth. Irais tells him she has no idea where she is. He spies Jobeth snogging with that guy in the
snazzy car. Matias yanks her out of the
car and the guy splits. He and Jobeth
argue. She tells him she was only saying
goodnight to the guy and she doesn’t like jealous scenes. She tells him like it is, cheap ring, cheap cars. She expects only the best from someone she’s
dating. Maybe, just maybe, the truth is
getting through to our Jughead Matias.
She ends up giving him back the ring. Jughead still doesn’t get it. He calls after her, saying he can get a
bigger ring and even a better car. I
don’t like this character, but I can’t help feeling sorry for the guy.
Marisol comes home and finds Chava alone. He doesn’t face her so she doesn’t notice
he’s upset and he doesn’t notice she’s carrying a few shopping bags into her
room.
Alone, Chava thinks back to all those sweet nothings he and
Sofia told each other when they were at their beach.
Jughead finally returns, downtrodden. He and Chava commiserate over their lady
troubles and then Matias retreats to his room.
Lupe comes home.
Chava tells her about his breakup.
He’s torn apart and feels dead inside.
Lupe can’t believe it. Then he
tells her about his baby-mama-drama.
She’s open-mouthed impactada at the news!
Matias is on the phone with Irais, telling him what she told
Jobeth. Well, Jobeth is leaving. She has her bags packed and moving to Miami
with Alberto, who really knows how to treat a lady (well, Jobeth anyway). She doesn’t realize, maybe she does but
doesn’t care, that Matias is still on the phone and can hear everything.
Irais wonders how long Alberto will put up with her and as the saying
goes, “El muerto y el arrimado a los
tres dias apesta.” (the dead and the freedloader stink after three days)
She lays it on Jobeth, calling her lazy, a kept woman, shameless. The only gets involved with men so they’ll
throw money at her. (Matias is on the other end of the phone line, crying his
little Jughead heart out) waaaaaaaah.
It’s ok Jughead, Irais will make it all better. Just wait for Ultimas Semanas.
Back in the living room, Lupe empathizes with Sofia, telling
Chava to consider how else would she react?
Aracely is her sister. He just
doesn’t know how everything got so turned around especially when he and Sofia
were finally able to love each other freely, with no obstacles. Lupe tells him to concentrate on his pending
fatherhood. He wants to be the best of fathers
but he won’t offer Aracely anything else.
She wants marriage, a family.
Lupe says this is what every pregnant woman wants, for the man to stand
up to his responsibilities. He reminds
her this was not his doing. Lupe
understands but it doesn’t change the fact there’s a Little Chava on the
way. Chava is adamant he’ll support her
with whatever she needs during her pregnancy and be a good father after the
birth. But Aracely is refusing his help
unless he marries her. It’s all or
nothing for her. Lupe understands how difficult
it is to educate and raise a child without a man. She went through that with Chava’s
father. Chava promises he’ll give that
child his unconditional love. But his
love as a man is only for Sofia. Lupe
thinks his first priority now is this innocent baby carrying his blood who
didn’t ask to be brought into this world.
Marisol is fast asleep dreaming of a waltz with herself as
the princess dancing with her Prince Pato!
Casa Ripoll
Dani arrives looking for Ma but Iker has no idea where she
might be. He agrees to make her one of
his magical smoothies while she bathes.
She doesn’t mention his black eye.
Aurora – the other maid talks to Iker as he makes the
smoothie. She’s so afraid of Octavio’s
ghost that she’s planning to shut herself up in her room until Greta and Fausto
come home. Jinkies! This is great news to Iker, knowing this
leaves him alone with Dani. eeeeeeewwww
Later, he comes into her room as she sings in the bath with
the door open, of course. He sneaks up
to the door and watches. O.M.G.!!!! He slips a little something into her drink.
After she’s out of the bath and dressed, she gulps down the drink and
immediately becomes dizzy. He rushes to
her side. She passes out in his arms.
“Finally, you’ll be mine.” He carries
her out of the room!
Depa de Armando
Armando brings Alexa to his pad and carries her over the
threshold.
Driving Miss Greta
Greta, Lupe, and Fausto are on their way back from the Chamán’s. Lupe tells Greta she’s now filling in at
Paco’s store since he’s now working at Ripoll.
He’s so happy at Ripoll and as his mate, she’s just happy to lend a
hand. Greta just smiles.
Penthouse del Perdición
Geronimo is wasting no time in claiming victory. He’s sure he will be able to win over the
fair maiden Sofia. bwa-ha-ha
Casa Ripoll
Sofia arrives to a seemingly empty house. Aurora tells her everyone’s gone except Dani
but doesn’t know if she might have left again.
In her room, Sofia thinks back to the sweet nothings with
Chava but she also remembers when he told her Aracely is preggers with his
child.
Fausto and Greta are marveling at the Shaman’s ability to
cure her of the supposed demons. Fausto
fibs to Sofia, saying they were at a zoological exhibit. Sofia assumes seeing the ferocious animals
did the trick because Greta seems very relaxed.
Later, Sofia cries on Fausto’s shoulder over her breakup
with Chava. WAAAAAAAH Chava has to put the baby first, above
everything else. Greta walks in and
wonders what the fuss is all about,
“what’s this about a baby?” Sofia
tells her about Chava’s baby-mama-drama!
Grrrreta’s pissed at Chava.
How dare he cheat on Sofia with his ex-novia! Sofia defends him, saying this tryst took
place before she and he began their romance.
Greta refuses to hear her justify his actions. I love Greta when she’s crazy tiger-mom. She describes Chava frolicking with another
woman when Sofia’s left him free for a few days. Sofia of course says Greta’s wrong. Chava has always respected her. Greta thinks otherwise. If that were true, that woman wouldn’t be
preggers with his child. Where’s his
love? Where’s his respect? Fausto urges Greta to lower it a bit, please,
and not make her daughter’s pain worse than it is. But noooooooo, Greta begins with the “I told
you so’s”: shoulda ended that
relationship cuz he was only cause her tears and disappointment. Sofia is sobbing on Fausto’s shoulder but
tells her mother she’s hurting enough already without her telling her “I told
you so!” Greta doesn’t mean to reproach
her, she just wants Sofia to see that her happiness lies elsewhere. She was living a fantasy that has ultimately
ended. Fausto puts a stop to Greta’s
tirade, asking her not to be so cruel.
Greta goes to Sofia’s side to console her. She only wants what’s best for her. Sofia turns away from Greta and walks away,
sobbing waaaaaaaaaaah
Sofia returns with a tissue and Greta tells her Fausto has
clued her in on Sofia’s decision. She’s
very proud of Sofia and despite her opinion of Chava, it’s painful to see Sofia
unhappy because of her broken dream. She
hopes Sofia can overcome this bitter blow.
Fausto apologizes to Sofia for blabbing everything to Greta. He just couldn’t stand by and allow Greta to
judge her. Sofia plans to put her
feelings aside and concentrate on her work.
She’s given up Chava’s love and now she needs to bring Chocolate Ripoll
ahead.
Silvana’s Hideaway
Silvana insists Peralta can’t get rid of Pato. Peralta himself told Patricio he’s needed
inside Ripoll to make sure Sofia can’t save the company. Patricio can only hope so because once that
Psycho Gerry finds he doesn’t need someone, he gets rid of them. Silvana agrees but insists that if Peralta
didn’t need him, Patricio would be gone.
He shares the good news about the breakup of Sofia and Chava
Patricio is confident that Chava’s accusations are no longer
a threat. The best thing is that now he
won’t have to put up with Chava and Sofia’s arrumacos (kissing/cuddling).
Silvana gets jealous, thinking he’s interested in getting Sofia
back. Patricio just wants to see Chava
suffer. Silvana’s anger goes up a notch,
saying she will not tolerate him going back to Sofia’s arms to get back at
Chava. Hell no! He attempts to calm her and she screams at
him not to call her “Tesoro”. He reminds
her Sofia means nothing to him. If he
attempts to reconcile with Sofia, it would only be to get back at Chava. Silvana refuses to consider this. She’s tired of being pushed aside, the one to
suffer loneliness, thinking that at any moment, he can leave her to be with
someone else. Nope, she won’t tolerate
it. She’ll die of jealousy. He assures her it will never happen because
he loves her! Well, she wants more than
words. If he wants her to believe
completely in him, in the sincerity of his love, then he’ll have to comply with
the promise he’s always made her – marriage.
WHAAAAAT?
Silvana argues that Peralta has no need to know (about their
marrage). Doesn’t matter, Pato says,
he’ll know sooner or later. Doesn’t she
remember what happened the last time?
She only asks for him to make up for all the humiliation she’s
suffered. Ok, if he gives in to her
demands, does she promise to stop bugging him and remain here for as long as it
takes? Silvana gleefully accepts and
agrees. He can’t live without her and
therefore has no choice but to accept her marriage proposal. She promises he won’t regret it. He warns her not to tell anyone, not even her
brother otherwise their wedding could end up being their funeral. She’ll agree to whatever he wants. She just wants the assurance and the
certainty that he loves her and that they’ll be together, for-e-ver. smoochies.
Later, Pato and Silvana snuggle, tangled in the sheets. She’s already making wedding plans. She’s sure she can get a date with the county
registrar ASAP. She doesn’t want to wait
a day longer. In a few hours, they’ll be
married! He calls her Sra. Iturbide and
tells her she’ll finally get her wish.
She envisions something special, even if it’s just the two of them. He warns her to remember this really doesn’t
change their situation. She can’t even
consider asking him to move here with her.
He needs to finish his job with Peralta.
There’s a lot of money involved.
She knows and says that after he’s done, they can go somewhere far away
and forget about that company, Stupid Sofia and …….. she trails off. Pato wonders what she was going to say
next. She thoughtbubbles, “My revenge on
Greta!” Aloud, she tells him she was
just thinking of everything they need to finish before they begin their life
together. He has a thoughtbubble of his
own, “And get rid of that maldito Cruz!”
Depa de Irais
Irais gives Jobeth a piece of her mind. But Jobeth feels she’s the victim. Matias led her on, making her believe he was more than what he appeared to be. Irais calls her abusive. She doesn’t deserve a man like Matias!
Princess in mega
trouble, Neta!
Oh no! Iker has a
knocked out Dani in the car. It couldn’t
be helped. He had to get her away from
Lucas and couldn’t stand to see her by his side a second longer! She’s the sweetest girl he’s ever known. No one can love her like he does, nadie.
Iker carries a sleeping Dani from the car to the elevator at
Silvana’s depa. He then puts Dani on the
bed. He rips out the phone cord and
takes off his jacket, saying it’s now time to begin living their love! He crawls onto the bed, still clothed. “How many times have I dreamed of this
moment, Daniela? I watched you without your knowing it and now nothing can
separate us, my princess.”
Casa de Irma
Aracely promises her baby she’ll fight for him and promises
he will lack for nothing. “If your
father prefers to by the side of that other woman, it doesn’t matter. I’ll love you enough for both of us. You are now my light, my dream, my everything.”
Aracely declines Irma’s offer to eat something. Irma tells her not to let Chava’s reaction
get to her. The baby needs
nourishment. That bad daddy doesn’t
deserve her misery. Aracely agrees and
gives in to Irma’s offer of dinner. The
convo turns to Armie’s visitation rights. Irma plans for him to see Nandito
every day by asking his help in taking him to and from school daily. Even though she’s perfectly able to do so
herself, this will keep Armando near her.
So, even though the judge has declared them separated (desjuntado) Irma will fight to win him
back. Aracely can’t believe Irma insists
on this even after Armando’s told her so many times he doesn’t love her
anymore! uh, Aracely, c’mon girl look in
the mirror! Irma knows Armando was
impressed with how she protected Nandito and that’s a start, right? Aracely
tells her she can’t obligate Armando to fall in love with her. Irma warns Aracely to be careful and not to
bite her tongue cuz that’s exactly what Aracely is doing with Chava. Besides, she’s not going to oblige Armando,
she’s just going to nudge him. She
suggests Aracely do the same. Aracely
should stop being so indignant and accept his help. Little by little she can wedge herself into
his life until he has no choice but to marry her. She tells Aracely to take advantage of the
fact that La Güera
sent him to the devil. Don’t be
dumb! Get on it already!
Casa de Paco
Paco is stressing out and prays for guidance, the clarity to
understand all this. He wants to be fair
to both of them but how? How?
He gets on the phone with Lupe to talk about their
kids. Paco thinks standing by while a
child suffers is the worst a parent can go through. He feels so useless. He can’t return a lost love to Sofia and he
can’t prevent Aracely being alone during her pregnancy. Lupe feels for Paco, being between the two
sisters. He says a child’s suffering
hurts more than one’s own suffering.
Lupe understands. She can’t stand
to see Chava mourning over the loss of Sofia.
What to do, what to do?
Damsel in Distress,
Neta
Iker sits on the bed, staring down at his beloved. She suddenly opens her eyes! (kinda spooked me to be honest with you) Her eyes dart around the room and finally
rest on Iker’s smiling face. She asks
where they are and he responds, “In our home, Princessa! Where we will be very happy!”
Dani’s face says, “QTH?”
Iker tells her he luuuuurves her.
She’s his dream, his everything.
He was impactado from the moment he met her. He’ll live his life to make her happy and fill
her life with his affection. He reaches
out to touch her and she pulls away. Iker,
“I’m not confused. You kissed me and you
smiled at me.” Dani, “You are soooo
mistaken.” He keeps coming closer,
telling her he can make her happy. Dani
struggles to get away from him. She
tries to get up and we realize her feet are bound and her wrists are tied behind
her back. She falls to the floor and
tries to crawl to the door. He rushes to
the door, making sure it’s locked. She
tells him to open it or she’ll scream and the whole world will know what he’s
doing. She’s just confused, he
says. She’ll soon learn to love
him. Dani screams out for someone to
help her and he puts his hand over her mouth, telling her be quiet!
Casa Ripoll – Call
out the Guard!
Fausto calls and leaves voicemail for Alexa, asking her to
call ASAP. They’re worried about her and
Dani. He tries Dani’s cell next but
Greta walks in with Dani’s cell up to her ear.
They realize she’s left without her cellphone and Greta saw her purse in
her room! Oh no! What do do?
Let’s ask Sofia! She’ll
know!
Fausto and Greta enter Sofia’s room and tell her about
Dani’s cell and purse. Sofia doesn’t
seem a bit concerned. Maybe she was in a
hurry and forgot them? Maybe she’s with
Lucas? Phone rings and it’s Alexa checking in.
Nope, Dani hasn’t checked in with her.
Fausto doesn’t skip a beat but instead of saying Alexa hasn’t heard from
Dani either, he reports to Greta and Sofia that Alexa’s moved in with
Armando. Guess that’s worse than getting
drugged and kidnapped by a Psycho druggie.
Anyway, Sofia grabs the phone and
wants to know why Alexa hadn’t mentioned the shacking up news? Alexa explains Dani was supposed to relay the
news. Sofia finally says Dani is nowhere
to be found. She’s taken the car but her
cell and purse are still at home. Alexa
seems to be the only one who takes this seriously and announces she’s on her
way.
Ogre Iker and his
Princess
Dani is in deep trouble.
Iker is tying her down and urging her to calm down. He starts monologue-ing about his anger and
jealousy over Lucas. He had to do
something to keep Lucas away from her; keep him from kissing her and touching
her. If those goons had done their job
right, Lucas would be dead and out of her life forever. And then she would be crying over Lucas and
Iker would be there to console her. “But
everything’s ok now cuz we’re together.
Nothing will separate us.
Nada. I love you so, so
much.” This whole time, Dani’s crying
and struggling on the bed. Iker has
definitely gone over to the Psycho side now.
He tells her not to cry.
He’s sure she’ll soon realize she’ll be happier with him than with
Lucas. She promises with a nod she won’t
scream if he removes the gag. He repeats
that he loves her and doesn’t want to harm her.
She asks why he’s done this when she’s been super nice to him. She never did anything to make him think she
was interested. He disagrees. She was
the only one who noticed him, the only one who looked at him with
affection. And now she’s all his. She pleads with him to let her go and
promises not to say anything to anyone.
No one will know he took her from the house. He can’t let her go. She asks if he wants money. He replies he already has what he wants. She’s his world. He reaches over to kiss her but she pulls
away and screams at him not to touch her and let her go. Why can’t he see that she can’t love him when
she loves Lucas? He doesn’t respond and
continues to try and kiss her.
Oh.My.Goodness.

Iker is really creeping me out. I'm sure the writers won't let anything worse happen to her and she'll be rescued but still, the possibilities are.....eeeeeeeewwwww!!!
Paquita- Your title made me laugh, but like you I was really creeped out by Iky! OMG! Dani better be rescued tomorrow. Wish there was a way for Lucas and Ollie to rescue her together and bury the hatchet.

I never liked and cannot wait until I never have to hear that "no me falta nada" Alexa-Armando theme song again. Maybe now that they are living together we won't see too much of them until it is Irma anvil time. Here is hoping!

I'm glad the Matia/Irais/yovet storyline is closing. I hope that Matias falls for Irasi before her make-over so it won't be based on her looks. Also, he was pathetic in this episode. I always ask myself, "What do the writers want me to feel?" and I didn't feel any sympathy for him because he acted liked a moron. Even after he busted her with the guy, he was still begging and pleading for her not to leave him.
I really like Irma's character. She is a great villian and the actress plays the part well. Too well. I would like to see her outside of this show to see what she's really like.
I agree Jarifa. Lupe was a little too supportive Aracely. She was telling Chava he needed to be Araceliy and I was stunned by this.
At least Dani knows who sent the thugs after Lucas now. Will she apologize to Oliver?
From the previews it looks like Sofia and Chava reunite to rescue Dani after Silvana gives them Iker's address.
I'm disappointed that Paco has become little more than a sideshow here. He's a great actor and has a commanding presence. They've turned him into mush here and have him doing nothing more than crying and acting weak. I also have to agree with Tofie, he does favor Sofia over Aracily. I think it's more to do with Greta being his one true love and Sofia being a product of it. In a way, I can't blame him. I'm sure he doesn't want to favor her more, but it's only natural based on his feelings for Greta(whom i hope he gets back with).
Alexa and Armando bore me. Need to have more Irma involved. She brings it. Evil as she is, she is riveting to watch.

Christian just threw a wrench into Silvana's plans, wonder if she will notice amid her wedding plans. That is just about the creepiest scenario one can think of, a coocoo for cocoa puffs looney toones kidnapping a helpless girl. I don't hope Iker gets help, I hope Lucas beats an admission out if him about Silvana and Patprick and both their plans..I am sick of sitting here and watching the bad guys win, it is too much like real life!

I’m not blaming Yovet for Matias’ broken heart. She told him from day one that she’s all about the money. No false advertising from her.

Tofie, ITA. Irais (anybody, really) deserves better. I hope they at least bring in some competition so Matias has to fight for her.

I’m not blaming Yovet for Matias’ broken heart. She told him from day one that she’s all about the money. No false advertising from her.
I think Irais is stupid if she takes Matias after Yovet cast him off.

Talk about being blind sided! Poor Dani had no idea that this guy was interested in her, let alone obsessed with her. Heck, they all think he's gay!
My Great Hope is that the abduction of Dani will blow up and expose Silvana and her plots to kill Grrrreta using Iker. Maybe Peralta will somehow get wind if it does blow up. Love to see Geronimo vs Patrick.

I agree Vivi, the Ripoll household seems to think Iker is gay. Even - or should I say especially - Fausto!
The only other role I have seen Aleida Nunez (Irma) play was Gardenia in Manana es Para Siempre. She was really good in that role as well. Gardenia was a similar character to Irma.

Diana: Let us remember that Silvana IS...crazy. She wants to kill Grrrreta for something Grrrreta did not do. And furthermore it was Grrrreta who was married to him, Silv's Mom was the homewrecker in the situation for which Silv wants Grrrreta to die. Between Iker/Cristian going off the deep end and Silv's obsession with marrying Patprick this could be great. Has Silv forgotten that she is sterile (barren)? I am astonished she is continuing to try to marry given that she can not make babies. Wait till she finds out WHY ! ! !
Kirby - In regards to Marisol's promotion to personal secretary, she talked about taking classes to learn English so she'd be more qualified for the job and got as far as getting and reading the brochure and I guess that was good enough. Also, when Marisol told Dani her job goal and Dani explained that that was a big step up from line worker and that she wasn't really qualified and should work her way up in the company, rude obnoxious Marisol asked Dani, her BOSS and one of the OWNERS of the company, if SHE started from the bottom up and if Dani was allowed to learn as she went, so should she. It's a shame Dani is so nice or else entitled, bratty Marisol would have been out on her behind after that exchange.

Iker screwed over Silvana & their evil Greta plans by kidnapping Dani, no doubt, but why take her to Silvana's apartment and not his own? I don't know where they will find Dani in the end but if she is found there, Silvana has a lot of explaining to do.

I know everything will work out by the Gran Fin for Sofia and she will have her happy ending but DAMN, it is just blow after blow after freaking blow where it's not even going to come close to evening out in the end. I know she can be naive and overly kind a lot of the time to the point where it is frustrating to watch but I find her very likable and it's a shame how much she is constantly getting hurt by others and crying her face off to to the pain. So sad.

I like Sofia alot and she is the only person in the whole TN that has dealt with everything reasonably well while being a punching bag. The one time she took a little me time was to search for her bio dad, but far from a freak out. She is keeping her mother and sisters in that big ole house.
Linda Re Dani vs Marisol. Through thick and thin Dani has been sweet, forgiving and gracious to little Chava Jr. Marisol, even when Marisol has been downright nasty to her. Most recently the full-on tackle and smackdown on Dani's own front lawn. I hope Patricio has a nice large anvil prepared for that smug little witch. She signs up for an English class and lets Mr. semen demon buy her some clothes and now she is an exec secretary? Who The Hell is running HR? I know, Dani.......just making a point.
Tofie I catch myself wishing I could help Sofia. Enough is enough. She has been sweet and non-vindictive to a fault. I only hope her rewards are piling up somewhere. I cringe every time Geronimo lies to her while licking his chops.
"Why take Dani to Silvana's" I was under the impression Iker did not have a place and lived with Silv. But not sure as she talked about the keeping the apt but not using it when she was exiled. ? ?

Kirby - Iker definitely has his own place. When he first was released from rehab and lived with Silvana, it was mentioned that he had to move out because she couldn't hide him indefinitely from Patricio who kept making booty calls (remember when he hid behind the curtains when they were getting it on? Yuck) or others who might show up. We have seen him at his own place with that crazy Dani shrine.
