Caray, Caray!

Racetrack:  Team Chava's supporters are dressed in red and holding up signs!  Lupe prays to the virgincita and Sophia yells that she loves Salvador!  Armando gives Chava some tips and a pep talk!  When you get in the car, turn on the engine and focus.  Geez, I'm glad Armando made that clear.  Also, remember that our good stuff comes in the last laps.  Anyways, there are some crashes, engines revving and Chava wins!  He jumps out the Patotas and on to the roof.  Um, I thought he was gonna get intimate with the car when he laid flat on the roof and kissed it.  OK, so Chava is escorted to the winners stage by a half-naked chick and he sprays champagne and raises the trophy.  While being interviewed by the Televisa reporter, does Chava give any credit to God or the virgincita that he's been constantly begging for help to win?  Nope!  How about Armando?  Surely he gives big ups to Armando on national TV for his success! The Armando who slaved all night and sometimes made his kid sleep in the garage while he selflessly worked.  Of course not, Chava gives all credit of his success to Sophia.  He tells the world that her love repaired Patotas!  Sophia's kisses filled the tires and painted the car.  This declaration gets him a GDA (Global Display of Affection) from Sophie!  Chava offers to give Sophia (not Armando, not his mother, not Marisol) the loot that he won! They make out and she declares that she loves Chava and wants to spend the rest of her life with him.  Chava says that he is lucky to have Sophia.


Meanwhile there's drama elsewhere!

• Alexa leaves because Irma is mean muggin' her. 
• Matias bought Yovet as his date, but she and her mini-skirt found a hot driver to make out with.  Later, she acts pissed at Matias for leaving her alone with all of those men who were disrespecting her. 
• Fausto tells Greta that Chava won the race.  He tells her that she should call and congratulate Chava. 
• Irma returns home with her spy in tow.  The spy calls Renzi and tells him that Irma attended the race.  Renzi is stunned. 
• Araceli has been watching the race and is pissed that Chava thanked Sophia more than he thanked the woman who gave birth to him.  I agree with her.  I fill ill. 
• Both Peralta and Patrick are pissed that Chava won. 
• Alexa goes out to lunch with Paolo.  Today she has chosen a vest that resembles a pink bathroom rug.  She and Paolo get chased by fans.  She thinks it's awesome. 
• Team Chava plans to meet at Cuco's for a big celebratory party. 
• Miggie shows Lucas Rosa's diary.  Rosa and Miggie watch as Lucas reads it.  After reading the diary, Lucas concludes that Rosa deserves a second chance.  Miggie says that she now knows that Lucas was always in Rosa's heart.  It no longer matters that she never sent a dime in child support, or called him or cared about him, but as long as she was writing about thinking about him on his sixth birthday, that's all that matters.  Lucas calls Rosa mom and then goes for a walk to think.  Miggie invites Rosa to live with them.  Rosa wants to ask Lucas first. 

I don't care, but someone else might NEWS~

Javier asks the nurse who won the race.  The nurse says Salvador Cruz.  Javier praises God for allowing him to live to see the day that Chava one a race and then he gasps for air and dies.

Chava, Paco, Marisol, Sophia, Lupe, Armando and Nandito enter the Cruz residence.  Away from the public and cameras, where credit does not matter, Chava finally acknowledges Armando for helping him fix his car.  His mom also might have helped him while a struggling single mother.  But Sophia deserves the trophy and Chava gives it to her because it is proof that he will fight for her.  I don't know how Armando refrained from hitting Chava with the trophy.  What a jerk!  Anways, Sophia says that he will probably get lots of sponsors now. 

OK, I my bad.  I thought Javier was dead, but he was just teasing me.  The hospital calls, Javier is in critical condition.  The gang moves over to the hospital.  The doctor allows the family members at bedside.  The doctor tells Salvador that Javier to too week for a transplant.  Back at Javier's bedside, Javier tells Salvador that he's proud of him for winning the race and also that he is a good man for taking care of his mother and sister.  He gasps and turns his head.  Don't get your hopes up, he's not dead. 

Anyways, he tells Marisol to stop being depressed because she's cute and she will find love.    More gasping, but I am not fooled this time.  Salvador runs out the room and tells the doctor to take his liver right now.  The doctor says no!  Your dad is on his way out.  Back in the room, Javier has got his wind back.  Lupe, I have always loved you although I abandoned you with two kids.  You have a good man now.  Forgive me for not making you happy.  More gasping!  Finally, he dies for real. 

Chava and Lupe come out and tell Sophia and Paco that Javier has croaked.  Everyone cries.  I can't care because he was a bum and doesn't deserve all of this.  Sophia comforts Chava, Paco comforts Lupe.  Chava tells his mom and sister to go home and prepare for the funeral while he signs the paperwork. 

Other Interesting News

• While Lucas is out walking around, the men that Igor hired spot him.  Two very large men get jump out of the car and beat him up.  They throw him into a van and drive off. 
• Everyone shows up to the funeral/party.
