Hasta El Fin Del Mundo #157 4/6/15 Javier is Dead, Irma May Not Be Far Behind
I missed about the first 15 minutes or so of this episode so if someone could fill in in the comments that would be much appreciated.
Monday's Episode:
Everybody is gathered at Lupe's house for Javier's wake. Apparently Sofia won't be getting the entire race prize check because Chava sprang for a better casket for Javier than a simple wooden fruit crate. Then again, Chava must have saved on embalming costs because, let's face it, most of Javier was already pickled. Lots of tears and "I'm so sorry for your loss" from those attending. Sofia and Alexa give Lupe' their condolences and offer to help in any way they can. Marisol sits on the stairs and glares at Dani.
Silvana and Pato take a breather from sex to watch the news. The news anchor solemnly announces that Salvador Cruz's happiness at his victory was marred by the death of his father shortly after the race. Pato and Silvana laugh at this turn of events because Pato hates Chava and Silvana is just a bitch.
Alexa gets up for a cup of coffee and is accidentally-on-purpose bumped into by Irma. Alexa spills some coffee on herself but shows enormous restraint and somehow manages to keep from throwing the rest of the cup in Irma's face. Irma smirks about how well she and Armie are getting along and that everyone is trying to make sure Nandito doesn't suffer from the divorce. Irma mentions that she heard Alexa is making a movie with that cutie Paolo Elizondo. She's sure that the wealthy Paolo has much, much more to offer Alexa than penniless Armie ever could.
Pato makes another move in his plan to hurt Chava. He sends Marisol a very sympathetic condolence message on her phone. Marisol seems touched by it.
Everyone says good-bye following the wake and Paco offers to go with Lupe' to the gravesite. Lupe' tells Paco that it will only be her and the kids at the burial.
The thugs hired by Iker arrive at a remote location and stop the van. Before they can grab him Lucas jumps out the back doors and tries to get away but the thugs catch him, beat him some more and throw his limp body down a ravine. Lucas' body comes to a stop just short of a stream. At Cuco's, Rosa's heart starts racing and she gets short of breath but she doesn't know why. At home, Miguelina is getting worried because Lucas hasn't returned.
The thugs drive away. Down at the bottom of the ravine Lucas lies still for a few seconds then starts to move. He pulls the ropes from his legs and wrists and crawls away from the stream and up the hill. Looks like Silvana gave Iker money and he got screwed. He should have looked up the reviews of these guys on Hit-Advisor.com: "We were able to get a quote over the phone! Their prices are reasonable but you do have to pay cash in advance. They arrived on time and were appropriately dressed. They do good work when beating people up, but they don't quite get the job done when hired to kill someone. For that reason I can only give them 3 stars out of 5."
At the Ripoll house, Sofia tells Greta about Javier's illness and how Chava offered his own liver to help his dying father! Can't Greta see what a wonderful man Chava really is?
After the guests are gone, Lupe', Chava and Marisol hold each other and cry over Javier's casket. Lupe' takes comfort in the fact that even though Javier was a drunken, womanizing bum who took advantage of her and never supported her or his kids, he was able to receive his children's forgiveness and didn't die alone. Chava tries hard to cry ugly over the casket.
Iker gets a call that the dirty deed is done and no one but no one will ever, ever, ever find the body. Now that Lucas is out of the way Iker can get really creepy. He strokes the breasts of Dani's picture.
Miguelina cries and prays for Lucas' safety. The door opens and Lucas walks in. What a guy! He pulled himself all the way home using only his lips! Wait. No. I was wrong. Lucas crawled up the hill and then got a ride from a Good Samaritan who took him to the Red Cross. He has two broken ribs but they will certainly heal by morning. Hey, if Chava can be paralyzed in an accident then win the race the very next day it's not unreasonable to assume Lucas will be good to go tomorrow.
Greta sits in bed and thinks about what Sofia told her about Chava. Stupid guy is too poor to even buy a black market liver for his old man...
Armie and his lawyer meet Irma and Araceli before the divorce hearing. Armie and Irma agree to abide with the judge's decision, no matter who gets Nandito. Renzi's spy follows and calls to tell Renzi that Irma is at the courthouse with her lawyer.
Miguelina tells Lucas about Javier's death and tells him to call and offer his condolences to Marisol. Miguelina also says that she's asked Rosa to come and live with them.
Lupe, Marisol, Chava and Sofia stand beside Javier's grave as a Mariachi band sings. Chava lowers Javier's guitar into the grave so he'll have it when he sings in heaven. He's forgetting we've heard Javier sing. I'm pretty sure God will put a stop to that muy pronto.
Dani calls Lucas from work to ask why he isn't coming in and finds out that he got beaten up by a bunch of thugs.
Chava, Sofia, Lupe' and Marisol arrive home after the burial. Marisol decides to go to work because she needs something to do besides sitting around crying about her papa. In her room, Marisol re-reads the message from Pato. Greta calls Sofia and asks to talk to Chava. He takes the phone and Greta gives him her condolences. She may not approve of his relationship with Sofia but she's a classy, educated broad with manners and when someone dies etiquette demands that you offer condolences to the family. Even when you don't want to. Greta asks Chava to say "sorry" to Lupe' for her, but he hands the phone to Lupe' so Greta is forced to talk to her. The women have a short, awkward conversation about dead husbands. Lupe' mentions that she's pretty sure Javier ain't coming back to roam the house the way Octavio has. Sofia and Chava motion for Lupe' to shut up. Greta demands to know who told her about Octavio's evil spirit. Lupe' rats out Fausto.
The judge grants Armie the divorce from Irma, then also grants him custody of Nandito. Irma is stunned and furious. She stands up and screams that nobody is taking Nandito away from her! Araceli tries to calm her down. The judge says that Irma's psychological examination was the reason for the decision and this display just confirms that it was the right decision. Irma screams that she's not crazy!
Fausto tells Iker about Javier's death. Iker doesn't really care. Chava will get over it.
Dani bursts into Oliver's office and accuses him of having Lucas beaten up.
Lucas calls Marisol to offer his sympathy for Javier's death and she gets snotty. Why would he care anyway?
Araceli tries to get Irma out of the judge's office. She pulls Irma toward the door and opens it. Renzi's spy is just outside the door. Irma screams at the judge, "I'm not crazy! I didn't jump off that building! I was pushed! Mario Renzi and Antonio Manjarres pushed me off the roof!"

Woo Hoo this is getting interesting now. Hopefully Patprick will be tied into this somehow. But Marisol is still a little snot so I want Patprick to break her heart before his anvil arrives. Will Renzi be able to kill Irkme and will Renzi et al. be connected to Peralta?
Renzi and company now know that Irkme has her full memory back AND that she ratted them out in front of a judge amoung others. Bad news for the slippery bad guys. Also why bother with the silly Lucas story? We have enough to keep us occupied without going off on this tangent. I'm S U R E Silv has got to be preggers by now. Did Araceli forget she has not had a period in three months? Will she just go away?

Armando and Nandito arrive and offer their condolences to Salvador. Matías arrives and does the same and tries to comfort Marisol.
At Iraís's apartment, Yovet knows there was something she had forgotten to tell Iraís: Salvador's father died. Matías told her. Iraís is shocked she would forget something like that and wants to know where the wake is. Yovet tells her it is at Salvador's house and is not planning on going because things like that make her very sad. Iraís tries to explain the close connection that Matías has with Salvador's family but Yovet can't be bothered. She tells her if Iraís is that upset to go the wake herself and to stop bugging her.
Alexa asks Sofía and Daniela why they are all in black, did someone die! Sofía tells her Javier has died. Alexa decides to change clothes and will go with them. Fausto is also going to go with them and will tell Greta they are going. Sofía wants to know if Fausto told Greta that Salvador won the race. He says he did and she acted surprised. Should he tell her about Javier? Sofía says he can do whatever. Sofía tells Dani she does not expect Greta to fo to the wake even as an act of courtesy.

Iker is being ickie talking to a photo of Daniela: she is so innocent and pure that people can harm her. That is why he had to to take out Lucas because he has to protect her. He holds up his own photo next to hers.
Greta's reaction to Fausto's telling her Javier died is that he tell Sofía how sorry she is. He says given the situation it would be better she did so. She tells him he knows she is not good at such things.
Oliver does not want to go out to eat with papá Peralta because almost everything reminds him of Daniela. Papá tells him not to let his emotions rule him. Keep up your "indifference act" and she will be on her knees begging forgiveness. They see that Salvador's father has died on the tele.
Tavares arrives at wake. Next the Ripoll girls. Marisol is ready to let Daniela have it for daring to come but Matías keeps her under control. Daniela does offer her condolences to Marisol. She receives a simple "gracias". Peralta calls to offer condolences.

Wake "chit chat": armando, Nandito, and Alexa talk about fame and visiting Benito some day. Fausto talks to Paco about how happy Greta was with his new job and how Greta generally was doing better but was now suffering from hallucinations that The soul of her dead husband is in pain wandering through the house. Paco scoffs. Lupe thinks that his soul is not at rest because of everything he did. Fausto thinks Greta is just feeling guilty for breaking her promise to Octavio. Lupe thinks Octavio needs a novena. Fausto says they did that: a mass and the rosar. Lupe decides it is time to pray the rosary for Javier and leads the group.
Irma tells Aracely that Javier has died and she is going to take advantage of going to the wake so she can see Armando. Aracely goes with her.
Patricio finds a squeaky rubber ducky that Silvana picked up earlier that some kid left and they get into the Silvana wanting to get pregnant talk again. Patricio is pissed and tells her that if Peralta finds out they are seeing each other he will kill them.
Irma and Aracely arrive. Miguelina and Daniela talk about Lucas not showing up as Lucas is being transported in a truck and being beatrn again for trying to escape.
Aracely offers,her condolences to Salvador and Lupe. Daniela and Fausto split. Sofía greets Aracely and tells her she has taken the first step in compensating Paco by giving him the job and that monetary compensation will follow when the company is able to in the future. She wants justice. Aracely does not believe it and adds that Sofía just wants to get closer to their father and cut her out.
Iraís arrives for Matías.

A tiny thaw in the iceberg that is Greta. At least she condescended to call Chava.
ITA, "thugs are us" did not come through. And I had to laugh how Lucas' bloody, beaten to a pulp face was incredibly cleaned and even healed by the time he rolled to a stop and easily managed to get home. Wow!
Kirby and Steve, Marisol has been a brat - there's no doubt. But, do you you really feel she deserves whatever vile plan Pat has in store for her is justified? I am really afraid for her.

If ever there was any doubt about crazy-eyed Irma's lack of humanity, it sure was apparent today admitting she was taking advantage of the wake to see Armando. She and pissy-faced Aracely were so nasty.
Armando looked like he fully understood the implications of Alexa's comment ( based on Paolo's earlier comments) about how great it will be when one of these days he is able to free himself from Irma. Sort of like a future line in the sand.
Loved that crazy-eyed Irma finally told the truth and the creep following her heard. When Peralta/Renzi sends someone for crazy-eyed Irma, can they also take pissy-faced Araceli? A two for one???

Her father was a drunkard that abandoned her, she works, went back to get her high school degree, took lessons so she could sing and not pull down the WBB, borrowed money to help the household and offered to help Salvador fix his car. If you want spoiled, clueless and insensitive, look at Alexa. Now Patricio is going to destroy the naive, heartbroken girl.

My favorite line: "Apparently Sofia won't be getting the entire race prize check because Chava sprang for a better casket for Javier than a simple wooden fruit crate." LOL that's exactly what I pictured Javier in! His burial was too good for him. I knew this was going to happen! I commented last week that I hoped Javier would croak just as Chava won the race. Good riddance!
I also loved your Hit-advisor.com review on those guys hired by Iker. I think Peralta should have checked that site as well, the hit men in this TN have just been doing half-ass jobs.
I wasn't paying much attention during this episode, it was all filler until the end, I was so glad to see Irma blurt our the truth. Can't wait to see what happens next.

I agree with Steve and Kirby that I want to see Marisol get taken down a notch. I would not want to see her seriously hurt though, I could never condone rape, but she needs to be humbled a bit. She's always had such a nasty attitude. I remember at the beginning she caused a big scene at Ripoll when her mom tried to bring her some food, she was ashamed of Lupe. Dani who is rich and could be a spoiled brat is a lot more humble and kind than Marisol is. So am I looking forward to seeing her get what she deserves.

I don't think either Irma or Marisol deserves to die. Neither one of them has killed anyone and, like Tofie said, Marisol has been hard working and responsible and so has Irma at times. There have been a couple of characters in other TNs that I thought should get a hard anvil and did not so who knows what will happen. I just hope they don't forget to finish some of these storylines. Whatever happened to Isadora? Will Silvana find out Pato is a baby killer? Will Sofia find out that Pato was behind the kidnapping attempt in the very first few episodes?

Ann NYC, on Araceli's request Irma went into Renzi's office, since she formerly worked there, to look for documents related to the real estate business and find out who the principles were. Renzi caught her, chased her to the roof and threw her off. Armando and everyone else assumed she tried to kill herself again and Armando has used this second attempted suicide as proof she is unstable. When she came out of coma, Renzi paid her a visit at the hospital and as she regained her memory of what actually happened continued to feign memory loss because Renzi, at her bedside threatened her and Nandito's life. That is why Renzi has a goon following Irma constantly, just in case she "remembers" the murder attempt.
Just to clarify---I'm not out for blood or serious injury. Yes I agree that certain ones aren't very nice at times. Let Marisol get a good dressing down, tell her off, humiliate her or whatever but please, no rapes,
