Hasta El Fin Del Mundo #177 4/27/15 Two Daddies and Two Weddings
From Friday:
Irma takes Nandito to school. On the way to class he hides from the teacher and escapes out the side door.
Sofia is mourning the loss of Chava's love and the news that he's marrying Araceli. Fausto tries to comfort her.
Araceli is happy about her shotgun wedding. Paco doesn't like the fact that Araceli's happiness is based on Sofia's suffering.
New Episode:
Araceli vows to Paco that Chava will be the happiest man in the world with her and her spawn. She storms out. Paco looks at the ceiling, "Dios, dios." then turns and goes after her, "Araceli! Araceli!" He stops at the door. She's gone. Paco sighs, " I didn't get to tell her that Pedro came here looking for her last night."
Nandito waits in a security line. He realizes he won't make it through security on his own so he stands close to a woman that the guard assumes is his mother and slips in with her. After he enters the building he goes to the woman at the desk, "Senorita, I need to talk to the judge."
Chava waits at the obstetrician's office with Araceli. He is excited about seeing the baby on the sonogram. Araceli warns him that there won't be much detail yet because it's still early. Chava can't wait to see the baby's little hands, little feet, massive biceps, waxy skin and felt-like hair.
At the factory, Paco commiserates with Sofia. He understands all about giving up the love of your life. Sofia is noble and made a great sacrifice for her sister and her nephew. Paco knows that for Sofia it's a battle between duty and love. Sofia tells him that she feels like part of her self has been ripped away.
Back at the doctor's office, Chava wonders who the kid will look like (Pedro). Will it look like me? (Pedro) Or you? (Pedro) Or like both of us? (Pedro) Will it have your pretty eyes? (No, Pedro's) Araceli hopes her spawn is as handsome as Chava (yeah, I'll bet she does). Chava is deliriously happy because Armie told him that there is nothing in the world like the love a father has for his child. He's happy about being a papa.
Sofia cries on Paco's chest, "I have to learn to survive without his love. But it's hard to be strong. Paco tells her that it's true that time heals all wounds. In the background the Heavenly Choir sings a lament.
Sonogram time! Araceli and Chava look at the baby's image on a monitor. Chava wants to know how the kid is doing. The doctor says, "Everything looks normal for the time of gestation." Araceli asks, "How far along in the pregnancy am I?" The doctor says, "Approximately ten weeks." Araceli gets the 'Uhh-ohh' look on her face. They listen to the baby's heartbeat. Chava bends down to talk to Araceli's belly.
Nandito shows up at the factory crying and begging Armie for forgiveness.
Paolo and Alexa drive into the countryside in a BMW for their on-location shoot. He asks if she told Armie they were going on location. Alexa says, "Yes, but he gets so jealous." Paolo listens and tells her to use the trip to just enjoy herself and forget about her problems. Alexa agrees that she wants to forget her problems, but not her boyfriend. She picks up her phone and starts texting Armie the location of the shoot but discovers that there is no signal in the area.
Nandito wails that he said he hated Armie but he really doesn't. "You'll always be my dad." Armie takes his son in his arms and comforts him. Irma screams "Armando! Armando!" Nandito hides behind a wall. Irma stomps up dressed like she's been trolling for johns.
Apparently they have NO security at this place. Irma yells that someone from the school called saying Nandito escaped and she is sure that Armie had something to do with it. He admits Nandito is there but came to the factory on his own.
Irma tries to drag Nandito away but he escapes and screams that he's not going with her because she's a liar. Irma demands to know what Armie has been telling the kid. Armie denies even talking to him. Irma tries to drag Nandito off again but he runs behind Armie and screams, "I talked to the judge and she wants to see you both!" Irma and Armie are stunned.
Araceli thanks Chava for going with her to the doctor. Chava says he will always be there for his kid. Chava goes back to work (surprise!). Lupe' is late for her classes and dashes for the door. On her way out she tells Araceli that Pedro is here for a visit. Inside, Pedro greets Araceli and mentions that he heard Araceli was at a doctor's appointment. He hopes she isn't sick. Araceli shakes her head, "No, I was there to get an ultrasound. I'm pregnant. I'm living here because Chava and I are having a kid. We're getting married."
Sofia and Peralta talk about their marriage. Sofia tells him that Greta is thrilled that she is marrying a gentleman like him but her sisters aren't too keen on the idea of their sister sleeping with a creepy old guy. Peralta laughs, “Well they may think that now but in a little while they’ll see things differently. They’ll see how much I love you.” Sofia looks doubtful. Peralta promises to treat her like a queen. He has a surprise for her. He bought a new yacht and he wants to name it "Sofia".
"No, no, no, Pedro. That’s impossible. This child is Salvador’s." Pedro shakes his head.
Jeronimo asks what Sofia thinks about getting married in New York in St. Patrick's Cathedral. Sofia says she wants a simple ceremony with just family in Mexico. Jeronimo grabs Sofia by the waist and moves in for a kiss. Sofia looks totally repulsed and pulls away.
At the courthouse it seems that Nandito’s talk with the judge has yielded fruit. The judge announces that due to Nandito's testimony about what is going on she’s awarding custody to Armie. Irma yells, "You can't do this to me!"
Irais brings back the chocolates that Matias left at her apartment. Lucas tells Matias he doesn't have a chance with Irais, then eats the chocolates.

under the impression that Chava was in love with someone else. Araceli smirks,
“Well, Salvador broke it off with Sofia when he found out about the baby.”
Pedro tells Araceli that he is shocked. He hoped that he still had a chance with her. "It's good to see you so happy. I hope Chava knows what a marvelous woman you are."
Jeronimo wants the Ripoll family to attend the christening of his new yacht. They could have brunch and celebrate on the deck afterward. He suggests that they go sailing around the world for their honeymoon; perhaps someplace like Polynesia or the Greek Islands? Sofia tells him about Chava and Araceli’s upcoming wedding. She wants to be far away on her own honeymoon before Chava gets married. She'd like to get married ASAP. Peralta grins and kisses her hand.

Pedro tells Araceli that he loves her very much. Very much. She more or
less gives him the old ‘that’s nice’ response and tells him that this is the
last time he can visit her because she’s going to be a married woman. Pedro says sadly, "You don't even want me as a friend." Araceli presses the point, "It would
be better for everyone that way."

She maneuvers him toward the door. Pedro turns to leave, then turns
back again, “Hey Araceli, is that my child?” She quickly dismisses the idea, “Of
course not.”
"We were together back then. And we were in a rush and didn't...” "No, no, no, Pedro. That’s impossible. This child is Salvador’s." Pedro shakes his head.

He chides her, “Sofia, we’re getting married!" Sofia asks for time to... forget. He kisses her hand, "I'll call you later." He leaves.
Paolo and Alexa walk to the set. He reminds her that she has other options than Armie. There is someone right next to her who is waiting for his chance. Why is this guy such a dumbass? He's rich, famous, and good looking. He needs Alexa like he needs a purple third eye in the middle of his forehead.

On the movie set, Paolo and Alexa perform a sad scene.
Back in Sofia’s office Armie delights Sofia when he tells her that the
judge gave him custody of Nandito. He says it was a miracle, Nandito did what lawyers couldn't. Sofia thinks Armie finally got justice. He is a great father. Sofia can understand Alexa's love for him.
The camera malfunctions during Alexa and Paolo’s scene. The director calls ‘Cut!’
and demands to know what happened. The camera operator has no idea and they don't have a replacement camera. The director dismisses the crew for the day and Paolo suggests
to Alexa that they go back to the hotel for dinner and drinks. She thinks that's a great idea!
Armie and Sofia talk about the problems with Irma and his jealousy
about Alexa’s work with Paolo. He’d like to tell her about Nandito but he was so angry and jealous when she told him she was going on location that he hung up before she could give him the name of the hotel. Sofia writes the name of Alexa’s hotel on a pad and hands it
to Armie. “Here, go tell her yourself. Solve your differences.” Armie is excited but says he can't leave Nandito. Sofia assures him that she and Paco will take care of Nandito while he is gone.
Irma bitches to Araceli that that witch of a judge gave custody of
Nandito to Armie. "I'll never let Armando play happy family with that Alexa!" Araceli tells Irma that this is her own fault, she tried to warn her. Irma snaps, "Don't you dare lecture me! Just tell me what I have to do to get custody back!" Araceli won't do anything to help. She's got better things to do, like getting things ready for her
wedding to Chava. Irma smirks but Araceli insists she's telling the truth, “Yes, he proposed to me.”
Chava picks up strawberries from Cuco’s. Pedro is sitting at a table and
stops Chava as he’s on his way out. He asks Chava to sit down and have a beer. Pedro's heard that Chava and Araceli are getting married. Chava tells him about the baby. He mentions that Araceli is 10 weeks
along. Pedro repeats, “Ten weeks?” He gets quiet, mulling something over. Chava
notices and asks, “Am I boring you?” Pedro looks at Chava, “Salvador, that child could be mine.”
Irma heard that Sofia is marrying someone else. Araceli should be happy but instead she's crying. Araceli tells Irma that she's afraid. There is a chance that this isn't Chava's kid.
Chava gets angry and says that the baby is his. Pedro insists he isn't lying. "I slept with her just before you did. Ask her. I won't ever forget that moment. I was so happy."
Chava asks, "Why didn't she tell me?"
"I thought we would be together, then she dumped me. She broke my heart. That's why I went back to Monterrey. You said she was 10 weeks along. I did the math. That's exactly when I was with her. I wouldn't say anything, but if the kid is mine I have a right to know."
Irma asks, "How could you be so stupid?" Araceli cries, "I re-started things with Pedro. Then after Chava got dumped by Sofia and got drunk, I slept with him. I told Pedro that I slept with Chava."
Irma plots, "So it could be either guy's kid. You need to speed up the wedding. Start talking to the judge and the priest and nail him down."
Araceli agrees, "Nothing can stop me from marrying Salvador Cruz."
Marisol gets dressed after a nooner with Pato. He lies that he’s
totally found true love with her!

Marisol sits on his lap and says, “Patricio, I
love you. Patricio, I love you. Patricio, I love you.” She whispers that she
dreams about them being man and wife. She tells him about Chava’s wedding to Araceli and asks if he’d like to
have a double wedding. He says, “Yes, of course!” then tells her she better get back
to work before she gets into trouble. Marisol goes into the bathroom to fix her
makeup and Pato mumbles, "Double wedding! Estupida!" He gets a call from Silvana who can’t wait
to see him and sends him kisses.
Chava tells Don Manuel that he has to leave work (again) to take care of a problem.
Sofia hands Nandito off to Dani and Lucas. They decide to go for hamburgers.
Armie is on the bus headed to the hotel where Alexa is staying.
Meanwhile, Alexa and Paolo sit and polish off a bottle of wine on the veranda.
There is a knock at the door. It’s room service with another bottle. Paolo pours Alexa another glass of wine. She laughs and yells, "Salud!"

At the Ripoll house Greta is talking to Isadora. So they did bring her back! Greta is upset that Alexa is involved with a man who has a crazy ex-wife and a kid. Isadora laments that she has called and
texted and Oliver refuses to answer. Greta apologizes because Dani dumped Oliver and
took up again with that low-class delinquent Lucas. But there is some other news that she needs to
tell Isadora. It’s kind of a delicate matter, but Greta wants to tell her
personally rather than have Isadora hear it through gossip. Greta hesitates “My daughter Sofia
is engaged... to your ex-husband.” Isadora is stunned. Sofia
comes in the door and Isadora stand stands up and faces her, “Sofia, you cannot
marry Jeronimo!”
Chava stalks into the house and asks Lupe’, “Where’s Araceli?” "I'm not sure, I just got home. I think she’s in Marisol’s bedroom.”
Araceli is blissfully knitting baby things when Chava storms into the bedroom and yells,
“That child you’re expecting... is it mine or Pedro’s?”

Thankfully Pedro is pretty tenacious about this. This is just the last nail in the coffin for Araceli. If she were really convinced it is Chava's it would be one thing, but she KNOWs it is very probably Pedro's and is going ahead trying to marry dipshit.
I'm holding my breath waiting for someone to notice that No One in the Loopy house needs tampons anymore.

I got the blue screen of death on my laptop. There'sonly three weeks left, if someone could do Thursdays, i can do Friday in the library. Or I can do Thursday and Friday in the library on Saturday morning!
I love the drama that this show is bringing. Having Alexa drinking wine with Paolo, getting drunk, and Armando on his way to see her can only end bad. Will they actually have Alexa sleep with Paolo and have Armando show up and walk in on them? I don't think the show will take us that far. I think they will be kissing and Armie will see it and go ballistic.
Irma definitely psycho, and scary. She looks like she will try to hurt Nandito.

Isadora and Grrrreta: I didn't see the reasoning behind Isadora ( Ex Mrs. Peralta) emphatically telling Sofia not to marry Geronimo. Was it as simple as not wanting a younger woman replacing her, or does she know something that Sofia should know before saying I do?
Is it the reason she drank herself to oblivion? Will she rat Peralta out? Will it do any good? Will Sofia listen? Probably not.

I hope Alexa goes away to find fame and they introduce another character for Arm. Boypants should come back and take her away and they can bring in another love interest. A love interest that will tell Nandito to suck it up. I just can't see why that kid keeps crying.

Chava leaves Araceli to go back to work.......Ooops...he leaves work yet again to bring Araceli strawberries? Or was there more time there than it looked like? OK. Maybe it was the next day and Pedro was still there from the day before having beers after Araceli sent him to hell. I am corn fuzed. Glad he ran into Pedro nonetheless.

Simple Steve: Sofia marries Peralta who now owns Ripoff. Silvana kills Patpric and Peralta. Being his widow, Sofa gets the choc factory back and then marries willie wonka Chava.

I'm very sad for Marisol. I see no way for her to have a happy ending. She may not be the most lovable character but she does not deserve to be hoodwinked this way with the inevitable consequence, humiliation, and disappointment.
