Que Te Perdone Dios#62: More Snitfits From The Misfits

Parte Uno:
We learn that Diego is the bastard son Constanza could never give Bruno and he was kept close to the house with his abuela after his mother left for parts unknown.  (Bruno kicked the bucket before ever squaring things with Diego—that is, if he ever meant to.  Personally, I don’t think he would’ve liked eating that much crow.)
Renata is gasp-gasp-impactada to hear that Fausto is Mateo’s baby daddy, knows it and that Mat is ignorant of the fact.  Helena imparts her em-bare-assing story to Renata.  Considering the truth ain't out for real yet, the two broads cluck to each other and assume that Feisty, being in the room when his brother “took his own life” probably was affected horribly which accounts for his nasty, anti-social behavior?  Pobre de Fausto!  (Yeah, my heart bleeds.  Another victim of supposed circumstance.)  And pobre de Hellie who says she didn’t stop to think what the consequences would be (in blurting the truth out on your wedding day to your intended you mean???) so badly was she needing to clear her conscience about her affair.  She blames herself for that tragedy.  (Well at least you have figured that much out over that past 30 years.)
Simona is thrilled to speak to her lawyer and tells Father Tomas as much. When she tells Tom that Max’s aunt Ximena sent him from Mexico City to help her pro bono, they both mistakenly assume that it was Max’s idea.

Sometime after, Feisty took up with another woman and dropped Hellie for her.  It was some woman farm worker, apparently, since his relationship with Macaria was long after that.  Then along comes his marriage to Renata and she was jealous like crazy.  He at least raised Mat as his nephew but did educate him and treat him with respect.  Despite learning all this, Ren admits to Hellie she doesn’t know what she feels for Feisty, if anything, at this point In her marriage.  She’s misjudged him is all she can say.
Porferio gets the bandages off and moves back to his manse.  He cannot wait to see his face and screams his head off at the mirror in horror.  (I guess plastic surgeons have never been heard of in the D.F.?)  We do not get to see the monster man full frontal.
Later that evening, Ren goes to Feisty’s bedroom to have a heart to heart with him.  She muses that she was sold by her father like a piece of merchandise when he married her off to him.  Fausto admits it suited him to get the cash needed to pay off his debts at the time and swears that he did marry her for luhhhvv.  His love turned into resentment and so he purposely tried making her as unhappy as possible thereafter.

Ren accepts that many harsh things happened during Feisty’s life to make him as difficult to be with as he has been.  She’d really like to get to know the man behind the mask if she could.  That way she hopes to discover the “human being” there.  (Good luck with that do-goodie wild goose chase.)  Before she leaves she needs to know if he cares for Mateo.  “Sure do.  As much as if he were my own son!”  Mat walks in then and wants to know why the discussion concerning his feelings for him?
In another part of the house, Mac catches hell from Diana for scorching her blouse.  Mat walks in on the scream-fest and demands an explanation.  Mac turns the tables handily on her this time.  Hey, it was only an accident, but don’t goad me here, dearie or you and your hubby won’t like what I could say about you and yours!  DeeDee backs off and tries to distract Mat with a request to just forget it and take her downstairs.  Mat is all ears, however, and wants Mac to spill it!  “Sra. Diana has a lover!!”  Mat doesn’t know what to believe.  Is it more gossip or truth?
Ren and Foxy Feisty are getting on so well she wants to ask him to recant and let her go to Braille lessons in CdV again.  Patricio is only a friend.  Nothing’s ever passed between them.  He still doesn’t like the idea cuz the guy’s got intentions toward her, but he gives in and then pretends to leave her room for the night.  Actually, he stands there leering at her as she undresses and gets ready to take a bath!  (That freakin’ perv!!)

Back with DeeDee and Mat, there’s the time old argument about who’s been worse than whom when it comes to supposed affairs.  (Yawn.  I hate it when Diana gets it right.)  Mat walks out on her.  She swears to get even with Mac.  (Personally, I want to see Mac get even with Di for all the shit she's caused her if not her "daughter.")
end parte 1~~
===================
parte2~~
Over at La Enramera, Diego meets up with Benito and asks if he delivered the last payment to the bank.  Beni misses his big chance to do the right thing and lies that the money’s in the bank.  Later, Benni races over to Macaria to sheepishly ask if she had anything to do with taking that money.  She shoos him out of her house and refuses to answer.
On his way out of the church, Mat runs into Abi and tells her he’s made a decision.  He refuses to lose her!   Before he can explain further, Diego runs up and orders him to stop hugging his fiancé and future wife.  Mat’s back “to reclaim what’s his;” he’ll be the one to marry her, not Diego!  “—She accepted and is marrying me!”  Mat throws a hardball, low and to the center.  “—Do you really want that?  You know that when she’s walking up to the altar the one she’ll be thinking about is me!” (Oof, that had to hurt!)  The two scream about possession until Abi throws a curve ball and tells them that she won’t be marrying either of them now and walks off.
In Mexico City, Max tries to be respectful to his Unky Porf.  “—You are not so bad.  Can I bring you anything?”  “—Yeah, legs that work, a new face and a brand new life!”  Max walks downstairs to commiserate with Ximena.  She’s become a real bitch and he cannot understand the huge change in her.  They’d gotten along so well in Real San Andreas.
At the cantina later that night, Lucio shows Rafa something he’s bought.  What?  For Mac?  He has bought a diamond bracelet for a special woman, one much finer and paler of skin, educated and truly beautiful—and nope it ain’t Macaria!  (Well, like they say, a fool and his [stolen]money are soon parted.)
Lucio then notes that Mat is sobbing in his suds across the room.  He makes a call to Fausto. (I think he does.)

Outside, on what passes for the main drag in RSA, Diego gets into it with a hired hand who’s ripping down all of Marcelino’s wife’s election posters.
Motor and Tony discuss their two cougars.  Motor’s finally had it with Effy and her quirks.  He’s got a plan to get even with her.
Marcelino beats his wife, Violeta and tells her he’s the one ripping down her posters and if she’s not home from now on to take care of him like a woman should then he’ll make her life difficult.  She refuses to bend, however.
Fausto walks into the bar and sits down at Mat’s table.  They toast to lost love and/or a beautiful woman.
Abi wakes up suddenly and bemoans her fate and not being able to forget Mateo.
Mat asks his uncle who Diana’s lover could be, and then clarifies that he knows Fausto and Di were never involved.  Feisty asks who put that idea in his head again?  “—Macaria.”  Feisty snickers.  “Why listen to a catty town gossip like her?”  Mat explains that Mac looked Di straight in the eyes when she accused her and that Di was unable to contradict Mac’s accusation.  Deny yes, but to clarify and explain it away, she couldn’t or wouldn’t.  Feisty slugs down a tequila and asks if he isn’t trying to find a good reason to leave her now that there’s a baby on the way.  Mac says that could be.  They head for home as Mat’s got work in the morning.
Di is totally sweet as pie when Mat comes back and jumps into bed (fully clothed and ready to pass out.)

The next morning, an angry Diego ambushes Abi on horseback and yells at ther that she’s not riding any farther till she has talked to him!  Ruh-roh!

I missed the episode, so looking forward to your recap, Jardinera.

Me too, Jardinera. I saw the last 20 minutes or so, but I'm dying to know what happened with Helena's revelation that Mat is Fausto's son.

Lucio buying a diamond bracelet for Diana = ridiculous.

What was Diego so mad about at the end, when he confronted Abi on the horse?

Wow, Helena's admission? Diamonds for Di from yet another admirer?

I missed a lot.

If the title is any indication Jardinera, this is going to be great.

Diana

Of the four TN's now on from 6 to 9 CDST, Sombra and Perdone are the best. In my view, Perdone is the best because of the acting and the complicated blood relationships. Poor Diego and Abigail. I hope it moves to the time spot when Hasta is finally finished which can't be too soon for me.

Thank you for the great part 1 Jardinera it was wonderful to read ,my favorites was "that a freaking perv! ," Good like with that do goodie goose chase" and "Pobre De Fausto" ! I havent seen the episode yet but i cannot believe how even Ren falls for Faust's dirty tricks and the bath scene seems nasty to watch after all the filthy rape scenes that have occured ,it's just so repulsing ...Does anyone have a bucket to share?

I await the the election day , they need to hurry up with that plotline so Sim would get the hell out of jail to humiliate Faust in public once again but i fear this time the tides will turn to Faust's favour .

I will comment on this more as i watch the episode. The recap of episode 61 is finished by the way!

Sorry it took a while, but it's finished finally. Lucky I had the day off, tho' the dental appointment and result did slow me down quite a bit.

Hope the typo's are cleared up. Anywho, I agree that QTPD needs to hurry up and move to 9 Eastern. When's their last episodio? Anybody know?

Thank you Jardinera!

"Em-bare-assing!" Some things could be embarrassing without being em-bare-assing, but in this case you call it like you see it. That is, like Fausto saw it!

So Helena's big reveal was turned into a sympathy fest for Fausto? QTH? What about the fact that he was sleeping with his brother's fiance? All is forgiven because he allegedly witnessed his bro's death? Strange reasonings.

I think Fausto is Diego's daddy, since Fausto left Helenea for a farm girl (who could have been Vicenta's daughter). So the identity of Bruno's mystery spawn remains unknown.

I think Ximena needs to make more of an effort to act like Daniela. Doesn't she get that she's going to blow their cover by acting so differently? And aren't the twins having debrief sessions before they switch roles? They should keep a shared diary or captain's log or something.

Violeta said that Marcelino had never raised his hand to her before, which surprised me. I don't think she's going to back down, though, either.

Mat is now interested in anything bad anybody says about Diana, and wants to find out the truth. Well, just like Barragan told Renata, Mat is also too late with this. People used to stop him on the street regularly to inform on Diana and he wouldn't hear them. Fausto is so shrewd, guessing that Mat is all ears now because he wants to leave Diana.

Count, you said Fausto is your favorite character. Mine is Lucio! And btw, I have access to the blog now, so no worries about tonight's recap. Thank you for your help!

Anon 2:09 glad you're a fan of QTPD, we need you! Is the move to an hour earlier going to be permanent, or just until something new starts in Hasta's slot? Somebody said that we will have two hours of QTPD for a while.

Hi Jardinera! Thanks for the recap. I agree, this TN is one of the best. Sombre is very balanced and qtpd is complicated. Fuasto 's past prooves he is beyond repair. Renata had better beware. Mat is truly getting on my last nerve. He made his choice. Leave the poor girl alone. Wonder why Helena decided to confess to Renata? Lucio and kid are stupid. The ranch does not belong to Fuasto so he can't have any partners. Could Lucio be defrauding his own son? Owwww must watch Tv!!!

Wait just a bloody minute....Diego is Evil Bruno's secret son ?

Steve, Constanza believes Diego is Bruno's secret son, had with Vicenta's daughter. But Vicenta said at Bruno's grave that he is not the father. On the other hand, Helena knows that Fausto dumped her for a farm girl, who could be Vicenta's daughter. I believe Connie said that Bruno's lover was named Isabel. I don't know if that is Vicenta's daughter's name. So it's for sure as something can be in a novela that Diego's mom was Vicenta's daughter, but the father is not yet known.

I'm finally getting a chance to read this. Fabulous job, Jardinera.

I cannot believe Renata has any sympathy for the man who raped her THREE times! I don't care if he lived through a fracking war and saw half his family slaughtered. It doesn't justify physically and emotionally terrorizing someone like that. A blind person no less! And learning that he knows Mateo is his son, and not his nephew would make me respect him less, not more. Ren knows he had an affair with Diana, his son's novia! Nope. I'm not buying it.

Renata knows Fausto was probably having an affair with Mac too.

Sorry to say, but Renata's other senses have not developed as they should have. She seems to be blind AND deaf. I hated TSTSNBN, but the one bright spot was Virginia. She was blind, but could always tell when someone was lying to her, or was upset, or in the room with her.
