Capítulo # 33 5/13/15. "The Kids Fly the Coop"
Part 1
Beto is at the admissions office of the university talking to the admissions counselor about the results of the interest inventory that he took. His interests seem to be agriculture and agronomy so she is suggesting that he study agronomic engineering. He can study right there at the same university. She can get him enrolled right now so that he can get studying. Classes have already started so he will have to work to catch up. Beto is all excited and knows his parents will be, too. An agronomic engineer!
Back to the scene where we left Facundo talking to Isabel oitside of theVelasco offices. Facundo tells Osabel he does not believe her. Facundo can fall into a trap once, but not twice. Isabel goes on blathering about how her psychiatrist says she loves Facundo, how she feels something for him, she's confused and how Santiago made her take the photos with him or he was going to throw her out on the street amd get a separation. Facundo answers with "A cada oveja, su pareja". (Birds of a feather . . .). She keeps going on and on about how she doesn't even recognize herself. Facundo's response is that after so many lies she really doesn' t know who she is and to just let him by. (so he can get out of there)(The bad part of this scene is that a piece of Isabel's hair blows across her face as she is talking and Facundo pushes it back off her face.)
Susana, Margarito and Carmen are talking in their room when Carmen gets a text from a publicity agency inviting her to a photo shoot. Carmen is all excited. She begs her mom to go and María gives in to her. Granny Perpétua is not happy saying that Carmen is going down the wrong path and Facundo is going to hit the ceiling. María asks Granny not to bring up Facundo. Granny tells her that things can't keep going on like they are between her and Facundo. He is her husband and sleeping alone. María tells her it is none of her business but Granny says it is because she wants to see her happy. María wants to know if she is supposed to forgive him like nothing happened. Granny says nothing did happen. María says something did happen: Facundo lied to her for days about meeting with Isabel.
At the Velasco household, Rocío is rummaging through her aunt Isabel's dresser, packing away jewelry she finds in her suitcase and talking to herself saying her aunt will never forget her. Conchita comes in and asks what she is doing.
Back at the Carmona's, Granny is lecturing María about leaving Favundo abandoned all of this time. Men do not know how to be alone. She already had a scare with Isabel. What is she waiting for? Another woman?
At the Velasco offices, Facundo is in his office when Isabel comes in uninvited. Facundo asks her if they hadn't just clarified things with each other. She says no. What she wants is this: she crawls on the desk, jumps on Facundo and starts kissing him.

Part 2
Back in Isabel's bedroom, Rocío tells Conchita she is not doing anything and not to bother her. She kisses Conchita, tells her to take care of herself and leaves.
Facundo puts Isabel down on the ground. She is still hanging on him telling him to kiss her as if it were the last night. ( sort of a combo of the lyrics of "Bésame mucho" and "La última noche" Too funny!) Facundo is not happy as she goes on and on about loving him, feeling alive with hiim, etc., etc., etc.. Maybe she should tell him in "ranchero" language she loves him like the "tuna" (prickly pear) loves the nopales, the bees the flowers, . . . the grasshoppers the comal. Facundo says he loves María. What does Isabel want? Isabel just wants a chance. They almost kiss and he jumps up. He says no, it is not God's will. She says it is destiny that made him move in across from her. Her guru told her that was a sign. Then she jumps to that God wants them together. Facundo finally tells her that he is one woman man and that that woman is named María Carmona. He leaves Isabel crying in his office. (Sure took him long enough)
Ding dong door bell at the Carmona house and it is Rocío asking for Beto to go with her as she feels she has to leave her home(hell) and go away far somewhere for a few days. Her aunt is crazy and tnrew away her clothes and favorite things. She has money. If he really loves her, please don't let her go alone. Beto smiles.
Estefany has arrived at the Velasco offices when Isabel emerges from Facundo's office. That is all she needed. Isabel confronts her: why is she there? She is there to see Esteban about a property. Isabel doesn't want her to put one foot in the offices ever again and to find another company to do business with. She tells her to go. Santiago sees them and tries to hide crouched down skulking along behind a counter while crossing himself. Estefanh tells Isabel she is not interested in Santiago. Isabel tells her she is interested in his money. That is why she wants her out. Estefany tells her when she gets the property she wants she won't be back. Isabel insults Esrefanh on the brand of clothes she has on but Estefany knows she looks good and says so. Santiago crawls back to his office where he thanks God that none of his blood was spilled today.

She thinks it must be Felipe who recommended her for the job but it turns out to be Diego who shows up. He tells her he did it because it is her dream and to show her she really is important to him.

Part 3
Beto tells Facundo he really loves Rocío. Facundo playing "hard *ss" tells him he will have to "un love" her. Beto does not believe what he is hearing. Facundo gives the eon's old parental ultimatum: under my roof, my rules or there's the door. Beto smiles to himself.
At the university, Felipe runs in to some of Francis's friends and asks now she is. Nobody really knows. She is sort of incommunicado at home. Sure not answering his calls. Maybe he should go and see her. So he does just to find out that she did go to the doctor and it turns out she is 5 weeks pregnant. He is shocked to say the least. He accuses her of just making it up. But she used birth control didn't she? Her response: the pills obviously did not work. She says she knew he wouldn't believe her. He should just go back to Carmen and blames it all on her. Because of Carmen their child will now have a single mother. He offers to be with her when she tells her parents and she goes beserk and throws him out.
At the end of the photo shoot the director compliments Carmen. She is a natural. They are happy. She feels like she is in the clouds. She is honest and tells Diego that she and Felipe are starting to feel things for each other. Diego says he will be waiting for her and to watch it because Francis won't let Felipe go so easily. Carmen's phone rings and it is Felipe.
At the Velasco house, Isabel notices her drawer is open in the dresser in her bedroom. She notices her jewelry is missing and wants to know what Conchita knows about that. She tells Conchita to call the police. Comchita tells herabout Rocío leaving her bedroom with a suitcase.
At the Carmona house. Facundo is out at the chicken coop thinking about Isabel kissing him with those fresh, nice and warm lips.
Isabela goes looking for Rocío in her room. Rocío has cleaned out the rest of her closet. Isabel tells Conchita she is going to call the police because Rocío robbed her. Conchita suggests they talk to the neighbors across the way first.
Back at the chicken coop Facundo has the animated devil Facundo telling him on one hand to kiss Isabel again and the animated angel Facundo telling him not to listen to what devil Facundo is telling him. In the midst of this fantasy, María arrives and brings him back to reality by asking him what he is thinking about. He starts with "María, negrita" and she cuts off his pathetic response by accusing him of thinking about that neighbor lady, Isabel. He says that Isabel is the devil herself. María asks him if he wants to burn in her hell and leaves. Facundo empties a bucket amd sticks it on his head and just stands there.
At the university Carmen has gone to see Felipe who called her to come talk to him. She notices he is upset. She goes to hold his hand and he pulls it away. She asks how Francis is. He tells her she is pregnant and he is the father.
Isabel has taken Conchita's advice and is at the Carmona's screaming at Beto who is in his truck. She wants to know where Rocío is. He has slammed all the doors and is closed up in his truck. María and Facundo are holding hands and strolling along as María discusses the importance of no secrets in their marriage. She then asks him if he really does like that skinny thing/ Isabel from across the way. Facundo never gets just to answer because they go to Beto's aid as they hear Isabel screaming at him.
Isabel is telling Beto if he does not tell her where Rocío is, he'll be spending the next 20 hears in jail. María is telling Isabel not to speak to her son that way at fher house, Isabel tells them about the missing money and jewelry. Part 4
Rocío is waiting for Beto with her luggage in a park amd is just about to give up on him when he calls out her name and they share a miss in front of a cart filled with colorful pinwheels. They jump in the truck but their exit will not be so easy.
Carmen tells Felipe to go. It is not her business. He meeds to do what he needs to do. He doesn't want to marry Francis. Carmen says but there is a child that needs a mother and a father. Felipe doesn't think those things necessarily go together. Also he does not want to lose what they have between them. Carmen tells him they have nothing between them. Their kiss at the party never existed.
Facundo who was stuck in traffic in a parallel one way lane of traffic has managed to come around and block Beto's exit with his truck. He tells Beto he is going home. Rocío needs permission from her parents, aunt and uncle or whatever they are to her. Rocío tells Facundo she cannot go home. Facundo is only interested in nis son. Facu do starts counting for Beto to do what he wants but he is left with his fingers in the air as Beto backs up his truck and zips around him to FREEDOM!!!!
Carmen is left alone to think that Pancha/Francis has won with her having a "chilpayate" (kid). She sits and
cries.
The Velasco's, are at the Carmona's. Beto is not answering his phone. Santiago tells Isabel it is time to go home where they can discuss the missing jewelry in private. Isabel still wants to call the police. María cannot understand why Isabel would want to drag the police into this. She answers because it was a robbery. Granny tells her she cares about things more than her niece. Santiago is still asking Isabel to go home. Facundo tells her to pay attention to her husband because they are not welcome in their home. Santiago asks how he dare talk to them like that. Facundo answers it is because you robbed us. Grandpappy gets all agitated, stands up, takes off his jacket and tells his son to "rómpéle el hocico" (break his snout). Facundo has to hold Grandpappy back. Susana and Jacinto have their fists up. The Velasco's finally leave. María is worried about her little boy Beto and what if he marries Rocío. Facundo tells her to trust Beto. Beto is a full fledged man.
Beto and Rocío arrive in the country. Beto is not pleased with Rocío lying about robbing her aunt's stuff. She says she was going to tell him. She feels like taking the money/jewelry from her aunt and uncle is llike divine justice for them having robbed Beto's parents. He sees her robbing her own family as being worse than what herr aunt and uncle did. She asks him to not be angry with her. The only thing keeping her alive is him. Beto then calls the only person who can help them.
In the Velasco living room, Isabela is drinking and Alejandra is crying. Santiago asks her not to drink so much. Felipe asks Isabel what she did to anger Rocío much. Isabel is offended and wants to talk about everything Rocío did to her. Santiago says they she told him they fought. Isabel denies they ever fought: Rocío pushed her. Conchita remembers the fight, stands up and tells them all she is not going to remain silent. Santiago wants to hear more. Conchita tells Santiago that Rocío did not push her aunt. It was an accident. Isabel just stares at her and asks How (could you)?

I really wish Rocio had not stolen that jewelry. It really cast a shadow over her and Beto's awesome escape.

I haven't watched this in a month and it appears so much has happened!
Jarifa, you are an exceptional recapper! Maria and Facundo on the outs? Impossible.
I was hospitalized in intensive care beginning last month and have been out of the hospital for only a few days. I have a long recovery before me.
I just wanted you to know I've missed all of you and thought about you. Please keep me in your thoughts and prayers.
I love this show and hope I will be able to start watching soon but right now all my attention must go to my recovery.

My favorite scene from last night was Beto backing up that truck and leaving Facundo with his fingers in the air. I love that they have broken free and are off on an adventure. You could just see the wheels turning in Beto's head as Facundo was being a real jerk telling him to "un love" Rocío.

I'm surfing in and out of this so I may be hitting it at the wrong time but Facundo's behavior is not endearing to me. He's a macho, sexist pig and if Maria had any self respect would leave him and return to the country. It made me angry to hear her mother's counsel, bed him regardless of his behavior or he gets to stray and it's her fault.

Tofie, I so agree that Facundo is not very attractive right now. Looks like he is going to have quite the learning curve. Granny is really the product of such another time and place. That being said this is turning out to be a very entertaining and funny novela. I don't think anyone will be getting acid thrown in their face in this one or "thrown up" on a beach. Lol. At least I hope not.

Diana - It is wonderful to hear from you! Each day I get on Caray I have been hoping for a message from you. I know EY is your telenovio favorito as he is mine and that it would have to be something serious to keep you away. My prayers are with you on your road to recovery.

My fav part was when Fac wanted to go after Beto when he sped off but a family was crossing the road so he stopped traffic, laid down in the road, so they could cross.
Francis has to be lying, the timing is too convenient. But then she seemed sincere when she told him. She is in the opening credits so I didn't figure she would go away.
It's interesting bec I think Isa and Estefy like Fac because he is not like any man they would find in the city and Fac is drawn to Isa bec she is unlike any woman in the country. Just a case of polar opposites attracting, but with no hope of lasting.

Thank you Jarifa !! for filling in the blanks. Not sure what Beto is up to, but I surely hope it doesn't jeopardize his new education prospects. Where does Rocio go from here? She's spiraling downward fast with no family support with the exception of Alejandra (and Conchita who really isn't family)and no place to live. I don't think Isa will let her back in the house. Not liking Facundo at all right now, AT ALL. And not liking Isa even more so.
Loved Santi's expressions when Porfirio was ready to fight him. Can't remember Santi's real life name, but he really is one heck of an actor.

Isa lied to Facundo once more. Santi was not going to divorce her and turn her out on the street if she didn’t go along with his plot. And doesn’t Facundo realize that Isa ratting out his beloved Maria about the fashion show and dissing her for not having a clean shirt for him was part of the scam? I guess Facundo is way too busy being turned on by Isa to worry about it. Grrrh!

Capítulo 34 5/14/15. "A Happy Landing at Tîa Humilde's House"
Part 1
As this capítulo starts there are three sad characters worrying in their beds unable to sleep: María is worried about Beto lamenting the fact that he grew up so fast and she no longer has any control over him. Carmen is crying over her loss of Felipe telling herself that a child is something sacred trying to justify the loss.. Susana is sad that she and Alejandra won't be friends forever as they had planned since Alejandra is no longer her friend and she Susana doesn't know what she did.
Granny Perpétua goes to talk to Facundo to see if he has heard from Beto which he hasn't so she takes the opportunity to let him know how fed up María is with him. He asks her why? Granny tells him it is because he is keeping them here in the city when María was all hopeful they were going back home to the country. Facundo reminds her that things changed due to those zopilotes (vultures) across the way. He is not going to leave just to leave after what they did. Granny tells him they are just going to keep causing problems. They are bad people. She knows he has a hard head and she loves him like a son but he has to start thinking about his family.
Back at the Velasco's, Conchita is spilling the whole story to Santiago. She tells him how Isabel took all pf Rocío's things and put them in a big balck plastic garbage bag and threw it out. That was why there was an argument. Isabel tells her to shut up. Santi wants to hear more of the truth. Conchita tells him that Rocío was fightting with Isabel over the bag but nobody got pushed: her falling was an accident. Isabel insists it was not an accident but Santiago believes Conchita. Isabel threatens to fire Conchita. Santiago tells them he is the only one who will make those kind of decisions: Conchita stays. Felipe is the next to attack Isabel. Santiago says they all should have known that Isabel would have to do something like that to cause Rocío to have such a rebellious episode. Isabel goes into victim mode telling them all to just push her and that she just wanted to put some limits on Rocío's behavior: something Santiago never does. Santiago calls her selfish and tells her to stop thinking of herself for once. He says he's going. Isabel says just like always. Felipe and Alejandra end up going to their rooms after offering no sympathy to Isabel and Conchita pours the last drops of wine out into Isabel's glass.

Part 2
Granny is still talking with Facundo who says he is thinking about his family. He does not want anybody to ever step on them. He does not want her to think they are poorly protected or poorly taken care of. She tells him he doesn't have to show anybody anything. They all love and respect him. He is the head of the family. Facundo says the Grandpappy Porfirio always taught him to face problems head on. Granny finishes by telling him if he wants María here, close to him (she pats his bed), he needs to think real hard about what he is doing. She tells him goodnight and calls him son. Facundo is crying acknowledging that his family is the most important thing and he cannot let his marriage be destroyed by him thinking about what he shouldn't be.
Santiago goes to Estefany's so he does not have to sleep at home. He does not get the welcome he was expecting from Estefany who tells him she is shocked that he would ever think he could stay the night. She is from a good family and doesn't want the neighbors gossiping about her. She has her reputation. If he had a fight with Isabel, why should she have to pay for it. She feels like he is treating her as his second choice. He reminds her he paid for the apartment. Estefany cannot believe how common he is. Fighting over money is bad taste. It sickens her. He will not be staying there overnight until he is her husband.
Santiago continues his search for shelter tour to Esteban's who wants to know why he is not at Estefany's. Santiago tells him things went bad over there, he feels too bad to go to a hotel and if he goes home he will kill Puchis. Esteban lets him stay in a room there. He brings Esteban up to date on Rocío and how nothing ever happened in between Isabel and Favundo. Santiago decides to distract himself by making some hotcakes out of gluten free flour and organic nuts.
Finally we find out that Beto and Rocío have ended up at tía Humilde's house in San Bartolo El Chico. He tells Rocío she needs a few days just to clear her mind. Tía Humilde will let them stay for several days and will not let anyone know they are there. Tía Humilde is dressed country style from ner particular region. She is extremely good natured and warmly greets Rocío and is quickly telling her she is too skinny and that she needs to eat. She takes her by the arm to bring her inside her house.
Carmen is at the university thinking about Felipe but then thinking anout Beto and hoping her parents don't find out he was accepted and then just split. The admissions counselor asks that she come to her office.
It is breakfast time at the Carmona's . Grandpappy Porfirio is enjoying his eggs. Gacundo is literally yelling for Carmen and he is told she had to leave early for an exam at the university. María is anmoyed that Facundo is not as worried avout Beto as she is. She thinks he should be out looking for him. Facundo tells her that Beto is a bog boy now. Facundo educated him as Grandpappy educated Facundo. They need to have some confidence in Beto. Even though he might be a knucklehead, he is still a Carmona. Facundo tells Susana and Jacinto to finish up eating because they are going to do some horseback riding.
At the University it becomes apparent that the admissions counselor wants to talk to Carmen about Beto because he still has not enrolled and that could be a problem because the classes already have started. She does not want to cancel the spot she has reserved for him. Carmen thinks on her feet and uses the country connection saying that her father has him working with the family at a harvest up in Jalisco. She also tells the counselor he still has not convinced his dad yet about going to school rather than working with him. It should all be resolved in a few days.

Part 3
At the table at Tía Humilde's, tía Humilde notices that Rocío didn't try the broth. Rocío says she filled up on the tortillas that were on the thick side. Beto says that Rocío is like a little bird that just picks. Tía Humilde promises to fatten her up. Rocío is happy. She wants them to lie down and rest after their long trip. She has a room prepared for each of them and warns Beto about sneaking around. Beto smiling tells her not to worry as does a giggling Rocío. Tía Humilde says she will be worrying.
At the Velasco's Felipe and Alejandra are at the table and are both worried because nobody has heard from Santiago and he has not answered his phone. Isabel pops up with the reason he is not answering his phone is because he feels sorry the way he treated Isabel. Conchita says that is not true. Isabel disagrees and goes on a tirade degrading Santiago. Felipe asks her not to talk about Santiago her father like that in front of Alejandra. Isabel does not care and goes on to say she is being honest : Santiago is running away like the coward he is. Alejandra finally has it and tells Isabel that it is Isabel who does not face up to her problems not her dad. Isabel goes on to make three assumptions: 1. She has a thief for a niece who escaped with a country guy to who knows where. 2. She has a useless husband who is a loser and does not know how to face his problems. 3. She has an insolent daughter and an insolent nephew. Felipe tells Alejandra to go to her room so she doesn't have to listen to this and he follows. She tells them they are both just like Santiago. Conchita even abandons her saying she never told lies about her and always respected her. They all leave her talking and crying to herself.
Facundo is supervising Susana and Jack horseback riding when he gets a call to talk to the admissions counselor about Beto. When he gets there the counselor gives Facundo a pep talk about how important education is for children who have to do better than their parents in life. Just because he doesn't nave a career doesn't mean Beto shouldn't.She knkws he has prohivited Beto from studying. He just needs to let him return to the univeristy, Beto will turn out to be an excellent agronomic engineer. It is evident that Facundo doesn't know what is going on but he is impressed that Beto could end up being an engineer. The counselor tells Facundo that by prohibiting Beto what he could achieve is like cutting off his arm
Granny and María are talking. María tells her that Facundo does not care about Beto; he has thrown in the towel. He is riding with the kids. The only thing that really matters to him is revenge on the Velasco's . Granny tells her Facundo is hurt but it will pass. María hopes so because she cannot take anymore.
Beto is oit with tía Humilde walking around outside talking about how he missed the clean air. Then he talks about how craziness is the most contagious illness of all and that Rocío has infected him with hers. He tells her he has been accepted at the university and that he is going to be an agronomic engineer. Going to school is something his parents always have wanted him to do, on the other hand saying no to his Rocío would be impossible. Something will happen to solve the issue but for now he is going to stay there with her because a Carmona never turns his back on his decisions. Beto looks and sounds joyous.
Santiago apologizes for having used up,the hot water at Esteban's. He also laments the fact that he necer made the hotcakes because Esteban (bad influence he is) got him drinking tequila. Santiago feels bad. Esteban asks him if he wants a couple of pain killers. Ne says no. He is wearing one of Esteban's shirts that is too big. Esteban goes to look for another one.

Part 4
Beto finds his way into Rocío's room via a small window. They do not have to worry about Tía Humilde because she is off harvesting corn. Rocío does not want to go home. Beto tells her that they can stay for several days and he will not let anything bad happen to her. Kissy face time.
Santiago's bad morning is just about to get worse when looking for a tie in a drawer at Esteban's.
He finds a box labeled "Isabel" filled with her photos. He drags Esteban out half dressed and demands to know why he has these photos and if Esteban and Isabel are lovers.
At the university Felipe wants to talk to Carmen. He knows she does not want to talk to him but he wants to know if she has heard from Rocío. No she hasn't. Felipe next sees Francis and tells her to be sure to let him know when her doctor appointment is because he wants to go with her. Francis looks worried.
Francis sees Diego and asks if he can get some kind of test result from his father's office that would show her to be pregnant. His dad is a gynecologist. He thinks she has gone way too far but ends up offering to help her out anyway after Francis gets all flirty with him. He does tell her that she owes him. One day he will ask her for a favor and she will have to do it whatever it might be. Francis tells her friends with baby clothes for her the truth: she is not pregnant.
At the Velasco's, Isabel says she is going to the police to see if they have any news about her jewelry. Conchita asks and what about your niece. Is she going to ask about her? Isabel tells her she does not like her tone as of late and if Conchita does not like her work she can quit. Santiago and Esteban cut short that conversation as they enter and Santiago demands that Isabel tell him what is between her and Esteban. She sends Conchita out of the room.
Rocío loves it out in the country and is out strolling around with Beto when they run in to a local girl. Beto looks uncomfortable. They make small talk. Her name is Hilda. Rocío wants to know who exactly is this "Hilda".
As he is ordering a capuccino, Felipe is given the "first sonogram" of their child by Francis. He is sort of peeved he din't get to go to the doctor with her. She just wanted to surprise him but can never do anything right.
At the Velasco's, Sofía does not want them talking in front of Conchita. Of course, Isabel says she was never lovers with Esteban. She has no idea how he got the photos. Esteban has always been obsessed with her and has always pursued her. He sends her messages and calls her all the time. Esteban's only response to Santiago's questions is that it is complicated. So, Santiago ends up telling him he does not want him in his home or in his company. He is fired. Santiago and Isabel both tell Esteban to get out.

Beto finds his way into Rocío's room via a small window. They do not have to worry about Tía Humilde because she is off harvesting corn. Rocío does not want to go home. Beto tells her that they can stay for several days and he will not let anything bad happen to her. Kissy face time.
Santiago's bad morning is just about to get worse when looking for a tie in a drawer at Esteban's.
He finds a box labeled "Isabel" filled with her photos. He drags Esteban out half dressed and demands to know why he has these photos and if Esteban and Isabel are lovers.
At the university Felipe wants to talk to Carmen. He knows she does not want to talk to him but he wants to know if she has heard from Rocío. No she hasn't. I can't believe Esteban took the fall and didn't throw Isa under the bus by telling Santi that they DID have an affair. I guess he's still hoping Isa will run back to his arms eventually. Poor dope.
I love Tia Humilde. She's awesome. Remind me. Is Rocio a vegetarian? If not, not eating Tia's delicious chicken soup was kind of rude. If she is, they should just tell her. I'm sure she won't be offended, and would cook something up that Rocio can eat. She does want to fatten her up.
Looks like Beto left behind a broken heart or two in SBelC. I did like that his "ex" pointed out that although Rocio is pale, she's pretty. And Rocio returned the compliment, but held on to her man a little tighter. Did Beto and Rocio do the deed, or were those plans foiled when Tia returned? I couldn't tell if she was interrupting before anything happened, or after it had happened. Rocio was under the sheets without clothes and Beto was down to his skivvies. Hmmm...

One of the things I loved about this episode was finally seeing San Bartolo El Chico and tía Humilde. What a welcome break from the craziness in the city. Rocío can actually be happy not being harassed by her crazy aunt.
I am liking Beto more since his escape with Rocío. It is good to see him coming into his own as an adult. I sure hope he can keep his autonomy when (I am guessing) he returns home. Maybe he will be able to get Rocío going to the university once he starts going.
Isabel is just more unlikeable each time we see her. Francis would be a perfect daughter for her and they could bury themselves in their nastiness. I sure hope the pregnancy charade ends soon. One would think it would have to since Francis told the truth to her friends.

Thanks Jarifa !! I think if Beto and Rocio did do the deed then they were very disrespectful of tia's hospitality. Isa needs to be committed to the manicomio pronto before she destroys ALL the lives of everyone around her. I hope Maria gets a grip soon and strikes out on her own. Facundo needs to come crawling back to her.

Agree Jarifa that Isa is completely unlikable now. Her selfishness, her treatment of Rocio, her lack of empathy for anything she has done... she has shown herself to be completely selfish, without care for other people.

So Francis was lying, as we all thought was the case. How long can she keep it up? I must admit I have a hard time believing these two girls are so hooked on Feli. He seems sweet enough but not enough personality or looks for me to buy their devotion.

I was all primed for Beto to start school, then this switch to the country. I need to stop guessing what will happen next.
Tia Humilde is younger than I expected. Great that she was open to Beto falling for a skinny city girl.
So Esteban kept pictures of Isa in his bathroom? I kepting thinking a bathroom is too steamy a place to store photos, so what was he doing with them there. Then, I thought yikes!, don't even think about it! Lucky for Isa that Esteban didn't have a photo of them together.
No idea what will happen, but since Isa is the protaganista, because the credits tell us so, my guess is there will be some deep thing in her past that'll elicit sympathy from Viewerville. After being in psychoanalysis for awhile though, she shouldn't be this bitchy, selfish broad.
I do feel for Facundo though. After two decades being faithful, he's got a 20-year itch and the crazy blond rich neighbor that he thought was out of his league is all but jumping his bones. Idiot. If he gave Maria a chance to blossom, he could get buck wild at home. Fingers-crossed that Maria gets out of the kitchen soon.

Watching the episode right now and seeing Ale's face I realize she's lost her best friend and her big sister in the span of a few days. Poor girl!
Rocío did look sort of grossed out when Tía Humilde said "caldo de gallina" So maybe she is vegetarian. As a vegetarian I can tell you it is hard sometimes to tell people that. They don't seem to understand...they especially don't get it if you are talking about broth or soup. Maybe Rocío didn't want the hassle.
