Amores con trampa #46 and #47 6/1/15 & 6/2/15

I looked forward to watching this all day and I was not disappointed.

HilMare is a delightful troublemaking addition to the story. I can't wait for Rocio so slap the Beto, Betito, Betote right out of her!

Francis and her minions of evil accost Carmen and Hilda Mecha (HilMare ™Marta.) Francis makes snide comments about their fashion sense and HilMare is all "come at me bro." (I highly recommend you do a google image search of that phrase. There are some hilarious picutres.) Francis backs up. hahaha! Her minions look a little happy to see someone stand up to her. Carmen and HilMare get in the RancheritaMobile and leave. Francis starts screaming about the plague infesting the university.

Facundo came home to look for some papers. Maria catches him and tries to convince him to stay and eat some pork dish with verdolagas. He turns down her invitation, but she still wants to talk to him. She asks if he knows why Santi fired Esteban. When Fac says he doesn't, she tells him it had to do with Isa. She explains that she just saw Esteban giving Isa a huge kiss and that Isa slapped him.

Isa talks to her friend Frederick about Esteban. Frederick remembers very well how much Esteban persued Isa. Isa tells Federick that he hasn't stopped. He's still going after her day and night and he wants to malign her. Federick asks if Esteban knows anything about her that could ruin her. Isa confesses she may have shared a few little chismes with Esteban. Nothing terrible. Frederick comments that knowing her, they are probably more like big ol' fat facts that could come back to bite her on her butt. What in the world was she thinking telling Esteban anything? She's at Esteban's mercy now. When you have a secret, you have a slave. Then Frederick confesses he has a secret and wonders if Isa would like to be his slave.

Fac informs the shareholders that arquitecto Joaquin is going to be expensive, but they won't raise the prices of the houses. There's a little grumbling, but Fac tells them they are still going to be making money. Maybe not as much, but they will be making money. Fac adjourns the meeting telling them he doesn't want to keep them late. They applaud. Esteban starts to leave, but Fac asks him to "park his car" for a bit. He asks Esteban why Santi fired him. Esteban hems and haws a little bit and says for personal problems. Nothing important. Fac tells Esteban that Maria saw him kissing Isabel. Fac wants to know if what Maria said was true. Esteban admits that it is, but asks Fac not to mention anything to Santi.

Beto has called Rocio to come to his office. He wants to tell her something important. Rocio worries that Fac has withdrawn his permission for them to date. Beto tells her it's worse. Fac invited a visitor to stay with them for a few days. Before he has a chance to tell her who it is, HilMare busts in with a Beto, a Betito, and a Betote.

Francis approaches Carmen at the university. She warns Carmen that HilMare is bad news. Carmen better watch out. Carmen doesn't think there's anything to worry about-Francid doesn't have any boyfriends for HilMare to take away. But Francis isn't worried about. Carmen has two boys vying for her attentions and Francis knows a dangerous girl when she sees one. HilMare could take both of Carmen's suitor's way and she'll be left with nothing. (I don't think Carmen is taking her seriously. It's ironic. Francis is actually doing her a favor!)

Poor naive Beto. Rocio explains to him that if Fac invited HilMare to stay with them, it's got to be for a reason. Beto doesn't think there was any mal intent behind his father's invitation. HilMare is surprisingly honest. She tells Beto not to be an idiot. Of course Fac invited her with the sole intention of breaking up Beto and Rocio. Rocio goes after HilMare and Beto has to hold her back. The two girls try to go after each other. Beto gets between them and asks HilMare to leave. Rocio says she'll make things easy and she'll leave. Beto follows her out to the hallway and begs her not to go. It's not his fault that HilMare came to town. Rocio knows that and they'll talk later, but right now she can't be around HilMare. She can't understand how Beto ever went out with HilMare.

Conchita approaches Isa. She tells her that she found the divorce papers while she was cleaning. She urges Isa to divorce Santi, but doesn't say way.

Beto tries to encourage Hilda to go do something. Somewhere away from his office. She doesn't have any money. When he balks at giving her any, she makes herself comforatble and says she'll just spend the afternoon bothering him(mosqueándote). He pulls out his wallet and starts counting bills, but she grabs the whole stack and says that should be enough.

She makes her way to the elevators. She and Esteban step into the elevator. She comments on how elegant he is and introduces herself. She has to sort of convince Esteban to tell her his name. The elevator breaks down and she gets claustrophobic.

Carmen gives herself a pep talk. She's made her decision. She just needs to follow it to the end. Diego and Feli arrive. She asks them to take a seat and she tells them she's decided which of the two will accompany her to the University party.

Have I ever mentioned how much I love the theme song? I sing it practically all day.

Sigh. Isa comes to see Fac at his office. She was there to talk to Santi, but he's gone. Fac tells her everyone is gone. His son was the last to leave. Great. They're alone. Isa asks why he's still there on a Friday. He says he doesn't feel like going home (NOOOOOOOOOOOO, you idiot!) Isa asks if it's because of Maria and he confesses that it is. Maria's still pretty mad. Isa tells him Santi asked for a divorce. She's desperate and her life is in a shambles. She doesn't know what she's going to do. Fac wants to know if she really loved her husband because he[Fac] just found out that she had a little something going with Esteban. She asks who told him. He responds with Se dice el milagro no el pecador, but the correct saying is Se dice el milagro el santo (A little bird told me) and she corrects him. (I suspect I missed a subtlety there.) She tells Fac that her thing with Esteban was a sad occurrance. He got obsessed with her, but she didn't marry her husband to be unfaithful to him. She was very much in love when she married. She would never dream of cheating on her husband. Fac tells her she needs to decide what she wants to do and she says she knows what she wants, but...Fac interrupts. "But what?" She goes in for a kiss. And he responds (NOOOOOOOOOOOO, you idiot! Part Two.)

Carmen has decided on Diego. Feli leaves in a huff. Diego tells her she made the right decision, but you can tell by the look on her face when she hugs him that really this is just a ruse. (I'm not liking you at all right now Carmen.)

Fac looks pretty into this kiss. Idiot. Idiotote. (Is that a word? It should be.) He finally breaks it up and tells Isa they can't be doing this. They are both married. Isa thinks it gets better every time they kiss. Can he really say he doesn't feel anything? Fac says he may be mad at Maria, but he loves her more than anything and he's not going to cheat on her. Especially not with Isa. Isa insists that Fac feels something for her. He responded to her kiss and she didn't have to beg for it. It was a real kiss and things are happening with him. Recognize it! Ugh. He finally admits he felt something and asks her to leave. She swears Maria won't find out and says she'll guard the kiss in her heart. Puke. I shoulda RPCed this. What a bunch of crap coming out of her mouth BLECH.

HilMare and Esteban have been stuck in the hot elevator for two hours. Hilda asks what he does and if he's married. She can't believe such a pipirisnais (best mexicanismo ever!) lawyer like himself is not married. He opens up and confesses he did have a great love once, but she was married. He would have liked to have children with her, but it didn't happen. Hilda remarks on how bad that would have been. That would have caused all kinds of problems and the kid would have to be passed off as the husbands. Esteban makes a remark to himself "he almost found out" (except the captions said "Casi él se entera" in the present tense. I appreciate any help with this.) He decides he's talking too much and pulls out a sandwich for them to share. Hilda says she has a broken heart too. Esteban says they do have something in common. He asks why she was at the offices. She tells him about Fac's invitation and Esteban looks like he's going to throw up.

Susana wants to know why Carmen picked Diego if she likes Feli. Carmen tries to explain that she has a plan, but the wise Susana says that she'll end up with nothing if she's not careful.

Francis worries about being announced as the queen of the university and having to go up on stage alone. Feli says he has to work at the pizzeria. Francis tells him to think about how jealous it would make Carmen and although Feli says he doesn't play dirty like that, he still asks Francis what time he should pick her up.

The elevator is finally fixed and starts moving again.

Jacinto primps. Today is the most important day of his life.

Hilda and and Esteban are released from the elevator. Isa happens by and Esteban asks if she was there to see him. She denies it and there is some small talk. They tell Isa not to take the elevator and Esteban follows Isa as she heads for the stairs. Hilda is left behind. She figures out that Isa is the married woman Esteban was talking about.

Jacinto brings Ale a jar of lightning bugs (luciérnagas). Jacinto has something important to tell her. She invites him to sit down and tell her what it is. He says he didn't know how brilliant colors could be until he saw them reflected in her face. Awwww.

Maria comes in to check on Fac and notes how oddly he's acting. And his eyes are bright. She asks if he's been crying. Of course he hasn't. Boys don't cry. Ok. Maybe sometimes they do, but that's not the case with him. Maria tries to talk to him, but he tells her he wants to sleep. Jerk.

Ale explains to Jacinto that they really can't be together. He's too young, even though he has the mind of an older person. She still wants to be his friend, though.

Estefany is chirping away about her wedding dress and the wedding in Los Cabos. They really need to get started on the plans. Oh! Or they could get married in Tuscany! But she understands he can't leave work for very long. She plans to be an understanding wife. Santi thought bubbles about how much he's enchanted by Estefy, but he can't take it any more. She still blathers on. Santi has to tell her there will be no wedding. Ernesto LaGuardia is the funniest comedy crier.

Aw! I love Jacinto and Abuelo scenes. Jacinto explains how he's in love, but it's not returned. He tells his Abuelo it's Ale. Abuelo the wise says love hurts. But you learn from it. Jacinto says he's kind of seeing now that Ale is a little too old for him. Abuelo says when he was a kid, bullying didn't exist. A kid said something to you, you had a fight and then you made up and were friends again (I'm not sure what this has to do with anything.) Any way, Abuelo tells Jacinto that life is learning about how to get around obstacles. Jacinto says Ale is the love of his life. Abuelo advises that Jacinto wait until he's older and then ask her out again.

Estefany can't believe there won't be a wedding. Santi explains Isa has become a two-headed monster. She tore up the divorce papers and threw them in his face! Estefany says he should sue her. Is he going to let Isa manipulate him? Santi doesn't want to lose anything. He's the one who's earned the money. By the sweat of his brow!!! But for now there will be no wedding. Estefany tought bubbles that she will need to get pregnant with Santi's baby, but that will mean she loses Fac. Santi asks what she's thinking of and without thinking she says "Facu." Santi gets mad and she explains "you didn't let me finish...I was thinking of the FACUltad at the university when we met." Santi seems satisfied with that explanation.

Beto goes to visit Rocio at the boutique. She's still mad at Hilda, but she seems ok with Beto. Rocio wants to go to the party at the university. Beto agrees to take her.
Hilda goes to see Isa. She wants to parlotear(chat.) She hilariously tells Isa to stop scowling or she'll get wrinkles. Hilda wants to know which of Isa's children belongs is really Esteban's!

Comments:
I love that there is drama without being sadistic and violent. This novela is just good storytelling, plain and simple and it doesn't need to resort to sensationalism to get me to watch.

Sara i agree the drama doesn't overshadow the funny this is the first comedy sins una family con suerte that i am actually watching and looking forward to it five nights a week

I hope it stays this way. I know I always get excited about a show the first couple of months. I really look forward to watching every day and the best part is every day is really good!

Yes that is true this tn won't get boring because of Emilio la Rosa look at hasta que el dinero nos separe it had 200 and some copitulos and never got boring

¡Ojalá!

Part one is up.

Sara- Great part 1! This was a fun episode and Hilda has made a good addition.

Can't believe that kiss, Fac's nerve talking to Isa about Maria, and his audacity to still be giving Maria attitude about nearly leaving him.

DO NOT GET ME STARTED ON FACUNDO! I am trying not to do one of my angry recaps.

Sara- He would deserve it. Luckily, there was so much other delightful stuff this episode too. But gosh, I wanted Maria or Beto to walk in on that kiss. That would have taken the wind out of his macho sails

Sara, thanks. Terrific part 1.

I better not get started on Facundo either. I'm so ready for Maria to liberate herself from him.

Anybody that sticks it to Isa is alright in my book. Wow, Hilda may be more destructive to her than Estefany.

Carmen, really. You ask both guys over so you can humiliate one of them? Not good.

All done!

Hey Niecie! Yeah, I'm all for Isa getting it from Estefy and from Hilda. And oooo....it would be awesome if Hilda made some trouble for Facundo as well. I know Hilda is another antagonist, but she cracks me up.

Jacinto is going to be a wonderful man when he grows up!! Ale, there's nothing wrong with a younger guy! If he comes back to you in a few years, don't turn him down!

Yay! Thanks, Sara. Part 2 was even more wonderful than the first.

Hilda and Esteban bonding in the elevator was fun and sweet. Hilda finding out that there is/was something going on with Este and Isa, and (gasp) Isa might be his baby mama, was even better. But if it's true, poor Ale and Santi!

Loved the scenes with Jacinto and Ale, and then with Abuelo. I agree with Ale that he is far too young for her to see that way. But hey, give it 10 years and try again. If he's just as romantic and poetic then, hubba hubba.

Drat. I was so excited to see Isa squirm that I didn't even think about what that meant for Ale and Santi. :-(

What secret could Isa have said to Esteban while they were having their affair? Was it the baby thing? Because I don't think Esteban knows that. I'm not even sure how Hilda figured it out.

And Frederick's secret?

Sara very good and entertaining recap Well miss Hilda is one smart cookie yes poor ale and santi Carmen is playing around if she don't stop she will end up alone poor feli and Diego did change i love to see isa squirm fac i can't believe you kissed isa back i hope Maria finds out and kicks isa again

Sara, thank you for the wonderful recap. So nice to have entertainment in the a.m. I admit I did not watch it all very carefully last night so I needed it. Too many phone calls! So the melon has been replaced by Margarito. So cute!

I love all of the animals between the scenes. Last night was especially good because the chicken was flying one way in an early break and immediately after Facundo was throwing stuff out if his closet the other way. I wonder who thinks up these things.

Frederick used the same expression with Isabel that Santiago used with her a few episodes back: have a secret, have a slave. She wasn't happy to hear it again.

Glad that you guys are enjoying Hilda, because I am finding her presence obnoxious. Can't wait till her vaca is over. There is way too much of her. I did like her putting Francis in her place like immediately and calling her a "flaca cara de ratón" "skinny mouse face." You could tell that Francis was uncomfortable around her. Carmen could learn a lot from Hilda. As for Carmen, she sure is playing a dangerous game if she really wants her "Feli" even Susana knows that.

Poor Conchita pushing Isabel to divorce Santiago.

Great advice from Granpappy Porfirio to Jacinto.

Then, there is Facundo who is evidently going to suffer and cause more suffering before he learns his lesson. I did not like that he was discussing being angry with María with Isabel: just as much of a betrayal as the kiss. I hated the smirk on Isabel's face after she makes him admit that he felt something. Facundo can wipe his mouth all he wants and cry but he is now a cheater. Hey, Facundo actually called himself a macho last night as if it were a good thing . . . Since I have never said it, Eduardo Yáñez is doing a great job portraying Facundo with all if his conflicts and all of the comedy.

Looks like Estefany has her work cut out for her now with Santiago reneging on the wedding.

Jarifa

Sara, thanks so much, and I love that you give us the Spanish words and phrases, with definitions of course, because those nuances go over my head ... pipirisnais, what a great word. As far as Maria kicking Isa, I would rather her just stop already being the victim and become independent. How much lower does she have to sink. As for Carmen, it still bothers me that all the nonsense is coming out of an older woman's face. Her babytalking is particularly annoying. It won't end up good for her, but perhaps she'll mature into her adult face. Am I making sense? Probably not.

Eva- Oh yes! Hilda is a smart and conniving cookie!

Jarifa- things have just gotten so dark on my other show and the melon was just a reminder of the show. I decided I wanted a string of Margaritos wherever I commented just to keep me smiling.

Thank you so much for telling me that Santi had used that secret line a few days ago. I don't even remember it, but now it makes more sense to me why Isa kind of flipped.

I totally agree with you that Fac should not say anything to Isa about his relationship with Maria. That's when I started getting mad. The kiss just sealed it.

Oh and Isa looked so victorious!

Anon728- I need to go back and link "pipirisnais to an article I found about the word. (hmmmm. And I need to trademark HilMare with Marta getting credit.)

I understand what you are saying about Carmen. She's older than her character and it's weird to see a grown woman acting childish. At the end we are hoping for someone more mature so the fact that she's an older actress than her character isn't as noticeable.

I was totally annoyed with her last night. Diego has made great strides and he doesn't deserve to be a pawn or to get hurt.

Sarah, just a thanks in advance for the header mañana. I am ready to roll!

Jarifa

You got it, Jarifa! It looks to be an exciting week! I'm looking forward to your recaps.

The actress playing Carmen is Jessica Decote. She was on Corazón Indomable. I think she was Juanita the nanny.

I can't seem to find her age anywhere.

After seeing everyone pairing up for the University party, I am beginning to wonder like you, Sara, what kind of a disaster it will end up being. I hope we don't have to wait too long.

Interesting comments about Carmen looking old. I never really thought about it.

Francis is getting more "cartoonish" all the time.

Jarifa

We've had so many party disasters that I'm almost going to be disappointed if the University party isn't.

Carmen isn't too badly cast. She doesn't look way too old for me. All the other actors at the University seem older than their ages too.

Francis is a cartoon. I would love to see a segment where they animate the human characters, too.

Great idea for character animation! That would be cute.

Jarifa

Sara, fab part 2 too. Love your new avatar.

I think we can count on the university party to be a disaster.

I was so thrilled to see Hilda make Isa squirm, that I didn't think about Alejandra. Santi will always be her dad no matter what, but Alejandra would be devastated.

If I remember correctly, Isa told Facundo that she's never cheated on her husband before. But we know that she did cheat. Something tells me that her whole mess with Esteban will draw idiot Facundo even closer to her. He sure has some nerve trying to interfere with Beto's love life when he's doofus enough to make a quadrangle with Isa, Santi, and Esteban.

Frances is indeed a cartoon. She is so over the top no matter what the drama; she just makes me laugh, and her facial expressions are hilarious.

I am highly disappointed in Feli for caving and taking Fran to the dance. This is the woman who pretended to be carrying his child, and then pretended that she miscarried, accusing Carmen of running her over purposely and causing it. That's a person you never speak to again, much less hand out with socially!

But, I am also highly disappointed in Carmen using Diego to make Feli jealous, so maybe she and Feli DO deserve each other.

Typo: Hang out with socially...

Not a big fan of the HIlde-type character. They irritate me.

I can excuse Carmen's behavior at the university. She's from the country and adjusting. But the three mean girls shouldn't be acting like junior high kids.

I'd think Frances was funnier if she wasn't so shrill. Her voice sends me up the wall.

Nothing Maria "has done" to Fac should justify his cheating on her. He's a Class A jerk.

Who knew of the Carmen, Diego, Feli triangle--Diego would end up being the good guy.

Comment bomber.

I like how Beto and Rocio are from totally different worlds, but so obviously belong together.

Wonderful recap!!

Fac--even deader to me
Isa--even deader to me
Maria--nearing the grave because of her weak character
Carmen--not grave worthy but she is cruising on stumbling into one
Santi--with how despicable everyone else is, for me he isn't even prowling around the cemetery anymore.
Feli--not even grave worthy he is so stupid
Jacinto, Susana, Rocio and Beto--bringing life to the cemetery!

Maria is nowhere near my dead to me list. I don't see her as weak. She is working with what she has and under a lot of pressure from all sides. Every single person in her household from the piglet on up to the abuelos, expects her to be a traditional, stay-at-home mom and wife. NONE of them want her rocking the boat-- neither preventing them from changing (school, friends, novios, business), nor changing herself. She's tried complaining/being vocal; she's tried leaving; now she's trying being accommodating. I'm sure that will work as well as the first two strategies, but at least SHE'S trying. I hope the next phase is the buck-it phase. (Replace 'b' with a 'f'.) The, "I'm going to worry about ME and MY needs phase.

I don't see her trying. I see her capitulating. She could have left but she got out of the car and let him order her around. She told him she was scared of him and instead of trying to leave again, she is now on her knees accommodating him like a servant.

I agree she is in a new situation with pressure from all sides, from herself too, because all she has known is how to be a traditions mom and wife. But the abuses keep piling up and at this point she should have reached the f-it phase. I'm finding it hard to watch any of her scenes. But I'm still rooting for her. I just need it to come soon because I'm losing respect for her.

I agree Nanette who new Diego would end up being the good guy now I'm like i don't want him hurt I'm still hoping Carmen and feli aren't end game Sara yes Hilda is smart i womder what other trouble she's going to cause I'm looking forward to tonight episode and recap

Sara, I loved your recap.

Your words convey all the emotions perfectly. It's as if you were there, narrating with a reflective eye that sees all and misses nothing.

"HilMare is a delightful troublemaking addition to the story", "I can't wait for Rocio so slap the Beto, Betito, Betote right out of her!" an "She swears Maria won't find out and says she'll guard the kiss in her heart. Puke. I shoulda RPCed this" were excellent. Your vocabulary was (as always stellar).

Not having seen this for months, although disheartened by Facundo's actions (especially succumbing to Isabel's kiss), I am holding firm that love will triumph and he will soon realize his one true love is indeed Maria. I see that Maria told him she is afraid of him which I was sad to see. I can only hope that he also grows up in the interim and becomes a loving, kind husband who appreciates her for the gem that she is and stops his domineering, chauvinistic attitude.

I've been applauding galans who are more areas of gray, but am rethinking that, at least here. Unless I've missed something, Facundo has a wife and family who love him. Isn't that enough?

Sara, another masterpiece.

Diana

Diana, great to see you here! Hope you're feeling better with each day.

It's a shame that there's not one single person that Maria can turn to for good, objective advice. I feel for her because she's got to keep a front together for the smaller kids, especially Jacinto. In a way, I hope she does see a kiss, to finally reach the "buck-it phase" [thanks, Vivi].

At least Facundo does feel guilty about his thing with Isa. He's trying to avoid Maria because of it.

Maria doesn't have a single person on her side. Not even her mother. They would all just love for her to keep smiling, and cooking, and cleaning, and shut up about it.

Next time Maria catches Facundo in a compromising position with Isa, and there WILL be a next time, I want her to smack HIM around, not Isa.

Niecie: "It's a shame that there's not one single person that Maria can turn to for good, objective advice."-- Amen to that!!!!! Carmen is the only one who has come close and she's too young and inexperienced, besides being into her own thing, to be much help.

Vivi: the problem Maria has is that she blames Isa for Fac straying. It's a common reaction among some women. In Maria's case, I can see why she does. They were completely happy until they came to the city and Fac met Isa. So, in Maria's mind she's to blame. However, she's not stupid. I hope she does start making Fac own up to his part in that dalliance.

I hope that guy who Maria was engaged to(?), or just boyfriend(?), that her mom talked about shows up.

I have so many thoughts running around. This will probably get rambly. And then I'll probably still end up comment bombing.

Diana-I am so so happy to see you here on the patio. We are a small enough group that I feel like I really "know" everyone. I was so very worried when you dropped by earlier to report you had health issues. To see you at Caray again warms my heart. You are my comment role model. I wish I could write such on point praise not just for the recappers, but all the people who comment.

I hope I see GinCA soon, too.

Jarifa: Wouldn't it be a hoot if we got some of the humans animated? I almost want to write to Mr. Larrosa and request it, because Francis would be hilarious I think. Her little flip hairdo is what makes her so cartoonish to me. Feli is ripe for animating, too.

Carvivlie: I love your dead list!

Nanette: I absolutely adore Rocio and Beto together. There little theme music is pretty too. I was very glad that the appearance of Hilda didn't get them off track and they were back together by episode's end.

About Maria
She frustrates me. But that's because I grew up in a world where I felt like I had options. I'm not saying that doesn't exist in Mexico, but if you listen to the the things Perpetua says, it's clear that Maria grew up in a home where women were expected to be homemakers. That's really all she knows. All the females she's known up to this point probably felt the same way. There job is to take care of the house.

So I'm frustrated that she hasn't tried to adjust more, but then I get mad at myself. She can't fully adjust to city life...because she's still expected to cook, clean, get the kids off to school and do laundry. And sure don't see the older kids helping. Part of me almost wonders if Maria created this for herself by allowing them to take her for granted....even when they lived in San Bartolo. But I guess knowing Fac loved her was enough for her.

And know Fac is getting in deeper and deeper with Isa. And Maria is truly alone. So while I'm frustrated that things have gotten to this point, I do feel badly for Maria and the situation she now finds herself in. I hope she decides to buck-it very soon.

About Hilda
She does have major annoyance potential. I liked her last night because the episode ended with Hilda putting heat on Isa...which was AWESOME!

I bet when she starts messing with Rocio and Beto (or Diego) I will turn on her with all the rage of my inner Francis.

I hope Florencio shows up too, Carvivlie! AND SOON!

And then I want Maria to leave and for FAc and everyone to be left having to take care of everything alone and that all his clothes get turned pink in the wash.

Vivi, I would love to see Maria give Fac a good SMACK!

On the other hand I remember that scene from MCET when Fernando sees Ana dancing and instead of anger you just see profound disappointment. I would love for Maria, instead of getting angry, like she always does, to go the opposite way, to have a quiet moment and just walk away, grab the kids and leave. With Fac having no words to stop her.

She couldn't take the kids with her. They would kick and scream the whole way, and everyone would gang up on her about taking Facundo's kids away from him. If she's leaving, she has to do it alone (just like Fac told her a few episodes back), and I just don't see Maria being happy without her kids around.

And I knew I would forget stuff.

I did go back and and credit Marta for "HilMare" and added a link for "pipirisnais."

I really can't wait for tonight's episode!!

Some things I liked last night:

Jacinto with Ale. I loved how gently she let him down and I loved that Abuelo was there for Jacinto.

I hated the context, but Fac feverishly wiping the kiss off his lips was funny.

Hilda and Esteban stuck in the elevator was also funny, but heaven help us if those two team up to cause problems.

Rocio dressing the mannequin. She really has found a purpose and I like to see her liking her job.

What I did not like

Isa. Her little pouty poor me way of talking is grating on my nerves.

I do not like that poor Diego thinks he's won the girl and he's just being used. It's time to introduce a nice girl for him.

Totally with you Vivi. Carmen and Feli do deserve each other at this point.

Oh, and "not even graveworthy" was funny, Carvivlie!

Yet another reason the whole Maria situation frustrates me--She can't take the kids. I feel like she is trapped and there is no way for her to find some happiness.

Vivi, I was thinking the kids would see Fac with Isa and see their dad was cheating and go with Maria. But you are right that she would never be happy without them. And he would probably physically hold them back. I could see the older kids turning on Fac instantly if Fac and Isa were seen kissing.

So onto another topic, I obviously have too much time at work today, do we think Hilda is on to something with Ale being Esteban's daughter? Could it be Santi can't have children and he doesn't know it? Would make Estefy trying to have Santi's child hilarious but I would feel bad for Santi. As wayward as his morals are he is the best parent those 3 kids have and he tries to do right by all of them.

Carvivlie- A light certainly went off in Esteban's head when Hilda mentioned it. I wouldn't put it past, Isa. We'll have to see. For Alejandra's and Santi's sake, I hope it turns out to not be true.

I'm off for the summer. I am purposely trying NOT to comment every time a thought pops into my head. I certainly can't fault you, Carvivlie.

I think that would be funny if Estefy was desperately trying to get pregnant with a sterile Santi.

While I hope that Ale is really his, I also hope that if she isn't they both realize that Santi is her father in every sense of the word. And that ESteban is in jail for some reason and doesn't try to assert his parental rights.

Geez. If there's doubt about Ale's father, how long ago did Isa and Esteban have the fling? Has she been unhappy with Santi all that time? I thought it was just recently.

Isa did mention that her and Esteban were together a long time ago and that she broke it off with him to work on her marriage. Long time for him to be keeping that flame alive.

Yeah, Esteban also told Hilda that it was over a long time ago (like perhaps 13 years ago?...)

But apart from that, something happened 5 months prior to the start of the tn that caused Isa to stop making love with Santi totally. If could have just been a final symptom of something that had been building up for years.

True. At the time I thought it was somehow linked to the secret about Rocio which I guess doesn't make sense....So maybe they are just two separate items happening around the same time.

There seems to be a lot of things that have happened and are happening that may or not be related to each other.

I agree 13 year is an awfully long time for Esteban to be besotted by Isa. 13 seconds is too long in my opinion. What do these men see in her?! She's a whining witch (with a capital B).

Could Rocio be Isa's daughter?

Rocío belonging to Isa has occurred to me as well.

I'm not convinced her sister and brother in law are really dead. But I'm usually way off when I try to figure out TNs.

I just hope we don't have to wait until the last weeks of the show to find out.

Instead of ale being estevon daughter could Rocio be his and isas i could be wrong

Eva: and she gave Rocio to her sister to be raised? Does the Esteban/Isa affair timeline work? Would Rocio be too old.

Sara: how do you make accent marks?

Nanette I don't think Rocio would be to old to be estevon daughter isa and estevon have none each other a while Hilda could be mistaken that it is ale

I have a Spanish keyboard on my phone and on my computer. On the phone, if you hold a letter it usually gives the option of the same letter with an accent.

Does that make sense?

I've definitely got the impression that Esteban, Isa, Santi and Estefy have known each other since University.

There was some heavy stuff tonight...but the hilarity outweighed it.

First, a link to the lyrics to the song from Susana's dream: Mi ranchito en la ciudad,

http://notinovelas.com/ceci-flores-mi-ranchito-en-la-ciudad-amores-con-trampa/

Scroll down and you can listen to the song, too.

I'll be back later with the recap, but feel free to comment.

Good stuff tonight, but the writers kept the mystery about what Isa is hiding. I loved both dreams.

Amores con trampa Tuesday 6/2/15 In which Hilda loses all her charm Part 1

Straight to the new:

Isa only agrees to respond to HIlda's question because of her vanity. She is too young to be the mother of her grown children and as for Ale….she stops there and refuses to go on. She asks HIlda to leave. Hilda refuses to go and tells Isa that really she's not that interested in Isa's kids and who might belong to Esteban. All Hilda really wants is for Isa to separate Rocio from Beto. He left Hilda for Rocio. Isa disagrees. She tells Hilda to look into a mirror. That might explain why Beto left her. Hilda tells Isa she's an awful person and finally leaves after several requests from Isa.

Ale remembers Jacinto to keep the fireflies so that she will shine even more. She will always be a shining star. She sighs that he is such a small boy, but has such a big heart.

The family does their best to scare the hell out of Diego. Perpetua even has a shot gun. Diego wants to bring Carmen home at 2 or 3 in the morning. Susana is in ready to strike mode. Diego finally decides it's best to get Carmen home before midnight. Carmen arrives and Facundo bursts into tears. When did she grow up on him?

Santi drinks and apologizes to Estefany about the marriage. He swears he'l fix things. That's twice now he's let her down in regards to a marriage. She remarks that she's put up with a lot...because she loves him so much. He promises again to fix things. His Puuuchis is not going to win. Estefany feels like a princess in a story waiting for her Príncipe Azul. There's a knock on the door. It's Esteban. Santi goes BSC. There's beating and screaming. Estefy says something about it not being a palenque and Santi yells at her about liking Facundo. More beating and screaming.

Poor Diego. Facundo never met his parents so Beto has to with Carmen and Diego to the fiesta. And worse, Hilda is coming too. And what is up with her hair.

Santi is still punching Esteban. He asks Estef why Esteban is there. Esteban reminds Santi that he helped him get the apartment. Then he says he's lost all his friends and Estefany is the only one left. Santi gets mad at him for saying Isa and Estefany's names and throws him out. After getting rid of Esteban, Santi tells Estefany to be careful. He will allow Isa anything. She is his wife. But Estef is just his lover. Ooooo. Cold. He leaves and Estef says "we'll see what you'll let me do, piece of stupid."

Francis's minions thank her profusely for letting them sign up for the queen of the university contest. There's a quick slide show of the contestants. Francis tells her minions not to get their hopes up. She's the only one with the face of a queen. She goes to talk to Feli.

Diego notices that Carmen won't stop looking at Feli. Diego goes to get something to drink.

Rocio asks Beto what he's doing there with Hilda. He explains his parents saddled him (enjaretar) with her so he could chaperone Carmen. If he came, it was just so he could be with Rocio.

Fac swims laps. Hang on. I have to rewind this several times to get it right.

Tuesday Part 2
He's mad at himself for not being able to forget Isa. Although she seems sincere when they are together, that's just him trying to rationalize. He's being stupid. And worse, he's treated Maria badly. She doesn't deserve that. He's going to get Isa out of his head. He tries to jump out of the pool and hits his head. He comments that he busted his snout because he was talking about her. And he's hit his head thinking about her. If she loves him and he dreams about her, who knows what he'll break!

The winner of the queen contest is announced--IT'S NICOLASA! She doesn't know what to do. She asks Francis if she should go up on stage or not. Francis tells her not to and says she betrayed her. Nicolasa tries to explain it's not her fault. Francis tells her to go up on stage.

Hilda decides to make an a$$ of herself. Anyway, Hilda can't believe Nicolasa is the winner. Hilda suggests loudly to everyone that SHE would have been a better choice. Rocio gets mad. She tells Hilda to behave. This isn't a stable. I think it's the best throw down (literally) that I've ever seen. We've had some great face plants in this show!! Hilda gets back up and yells at Rocio. Who does she think she is? Rocio tells Hilda she's treating her the way she deserves. They go at it and Beto breaks them up. Hilda decides to go for the low blow. She tells Rocio she should worry about her aunt and not starting fights. Hilda tells everyone that Rocio's aunt is a loose woman who had an affair with Esteban and that Rocio's cousin is probably his.
Isa goes to see Esteban. She wants to know what he was thinking talking to that flea-ridden ranchera friend of the Carmona's. Esteban doesn't know what she's talking about and Isa explains she's being blackmailed. She swears to Esteban that she will get even with him. She opens the door to leave and Santi is at the door listening. He came to talk to Esteban about the divorce, but he's heard their conversation and it's clear they are up to something. Esteban is a traitor. Can they look him in the eye and deny it?

When we return from the commercial break Santi is yelling at Esteban about running into him earlier. Isa interrupts to ask where. Santi tells her it's none of her business, but she knows it was at Estefany's. She gets mad. He has now right to say anything to her. Santi corrects her. At least he had the decency to ask her for a divorce, but she's been fooling around for years with Esteban. Isa swears Esteban is obsessed with her. Santi doesn't buy it since SHE went to Esteban's apartment. She has no shame. Santi has (hilariously) had it up to here. He takes a picture with his phone to use in the divorce. He takes several pictures and leaves. Isa turns on Esteban. From now on, she is Esteban's enemy!

Beto holds back Rocio. Hilda continues to tell the crowd that she talked to Esteban and made some connections and figured it out about Rocio's aunt. Beto says Hilda just likes drama (mitotes) and likes to stir things up (she's a mitotera.) Hilda asks them to think about it. Is their aunt that innocent. Beto, Rocio, Carmen and Diego leave.

Nicolasa claims her crown. Go girl!!

Susana has a music video dream. I'm going to watch it a few dozen more times. (I only wish they hadn't slung the animals around so much.)

Carmen drags Hilda home. Hilda doesn't understand why they left. The party was just getting started. Hilda thinks Rocio deserved it since she took away Beto Betito Betote. BBB comes in on cue and dumps Hilda's luggage on the floor. He is throwing her out. Fac and Maria and Perpetua come to investigate. Hilda tries to plead her case. Beto wants to throw her out and she didn't do anything! Beto says after what Hilda did to Rocio, Hilda must go! Then everyone wants to know what she did to Rocio. Hilda says all she did was tell Rocio what Esteban said--that Ale could be his and not Santiago's.

Tuesday Part 3
Maria tries to tell Fac "I told you so." He admits he made a mistake. They'll send Hilda back tomorrow. Maria says at least they know the true Isa now. Fac doesn't want to discuss that stuff. Maria wants to know what Fac is going to do about Esteban. Fac is going to talk to him. Fac can't automatically believe Hilda's gossip. Maria says nothing would surprise her about Isa. If she could deceive Santi like that, she's capable of anything. Fac tells Maria he wants to got to sleep. She wishes him a good night...who knows how many more he'll have.

Yay! Animated Angel/Devil Facundos. I want them to do something like this with Francis. The Angel calls him an idiot. The Devil asks him "don't you think her kisses were sincere?" The Angel interrupts to say that Isa gives kisses to anyone. She's a ligerita (How would y'all translate that? The Spanish is just perfect to me….Slut Lite?) The Devil says Fac won't be able to get her out of his head. Fac worries about what will happen if he can't.

Esteban and Mireya the Shrink talk about going out. They share a drink and a toast first. They are going to celebrate. They won't need pills to drive Isa crazy. Esteban assumes that at this moment Isa and Santi are fighting. Smooches.

Fac the human talks to Fac the horse. He's in this trouble because of a woman. He's not going to give up. He has to forget Isa, no matter what. The horse is his best friend.

Hilda corners Beto in the kitchen. She asks if he likes her night shirt. It was his and she sleeps in it to be close to him. She offers to take it off for him. She is grateful she can stay until tomorrow. She tries to kiss him. He pushes her away. She doesn't understand. She's his Meche. They were going to get married. Beto says maybe at the end of a shotgun he would marry her. Hilda thinks he's nervous because he still loves her. He denies it. Hilda tells him that Rocio will get tired of him and his country self. Hilda goes nuts and says he will regret turning her down. She curses him and Rocio.

An incredibly elegant Maria enters the boutique. She puts Rocio in charge. Maria is going to be touring Europe with fashion designers and she doesn't want the boutique to go to ruin while she's away. Her boutique is the most "in" in all of Mexico. Rocio says not just Mexico. María's tejidos(crocheting and knitting) are all the rage all over Latin America. Rocio reminds Maria she needs to say goodbye to Fac.

Isa, clad in traditional dress, serves up lunch with an over exaggerated accent. Fac is rhapsodic over his "Chabela" and the elegant Maria watches in the background. Fac drags Chabela into his life. She has to leave though and make a pozole and mole. He remembers when Doña Lula taught her how to make mole and wonders how she got the recipe. Chabela explains that she told Lula how much she loved Fac and the woman gave her the recipe. Chabela sings "La Cucharacha" and dances as she leaves. Maria asks what's going on. Fac doesn't know who she is. He would remember meeting someone as finolis as she is. Then he tells Maria that the woman who just left was his Chabelita and he wouldn't trade her for anything. They are from the same mountain, the same country the same land. Maria wakes with a sweat. She prays that never becomes a reality.

Isa and Santi fight. He wants to know if she cheated on him with Esteban. She looks for cameras because she's convinced he's trying to gather evidence. Santi begs her to tell the truth. Did she have an affair. She is appalled. She's not a woman to have affairs. She's a decent woman! She wants the house. She deserves it. Santi says she'll never get it. Rocio and Feli interrupt. Feli asks if Ale is Esteban's

Fin de episodio.

Ay. I got a little long winded.

It was so awesome to see Maria looking so elegant and powerful. I hope her prayer that the dream not become reality was only for the losing Fac part. The part where she was empowered and happy was pretty nice.

Spectacular, Sara! Not too long at all.

Hilda has definitely overstayed her welcome. One episode was all we needed for her to mess with Isa, her job is done, she can go now.

Loved seeing elegant dream Maria too. While it was a nightmare about losing Fac, I was glad to see that the idea of making a business with her designs is somewhere in her mind, lurking and waiting to be manifested.

You took the words out of my mouth, Vivi. I'm glad the work with the shawls is still in the back of Maria's mind. I am always so impressed with Africa Zavala. She was completely different as elegant Maria.

Thanks Sara :-)
So you had to watch the swimming Facundo scene a few times, huh?
Ja ja ja.

Denise

I feel it is my duty as a recapper to get things right. ;-)

Thanks for the excellent recap Sara!
This was a good episode, full of laughter, drama and music videos with dancing animals. What more could we ask for?

BTW, I am growing tired of Isa's lies with every passing episode. I can't wait til Fac finds out about all the lying Isa has been doing. Then maybe he will feel like a complete a**.

Gotta get some sleep!
Hasta pronto...

For me right now, Isa is the least trustworthy character. I'm pretty frustrated that she is supposed to be a protagonista because I don't even think they are trying to make her likable.

Still it was a funny episode. There is a great balance of positive and negative action.

The fight between Esteban and Santi was so funny, with Santi drunk and exhausting collapsing onto Este, and still punching him every now and then. Stefi should realize that even though she's gotten Santi into her bed, she hasn't gotten Puchis out of his heart or even his mind. She's not winning this war against Isa.

Sara I laughed at "Fac swims laps. Hang on. I have to rewind this several times to get it right". As a professional recapper of course, I would expect nothing less from you!

What an excellent, incredibly detailed recap. The vocabulary was also a treat. Your tone and words "Isa, clad in traditional dress, serves up lunch with an over exaggerated accent" paint a crystal clear picture of what has transpired, which is of incredible help to those of us who weren't able to watch this.

Vivi, I would also like to see Maria independent but Facundo seems so mired in his "home/family/clean/cook" mentality, he would really need to do a 360 in order to be the supportive, encouraging partner Maria needs to move forward.

I do not want him with Isa and agree with you Aunty Ann that he needs to have his eyes opened in terms of Isa. Seems she has secrets and perhaps a few skeletons in her massive closet.

Sorry I missed Susana's video but most of all, sorry I missed the swimming (sorry, but it's the truth).

Thank you Sara for this bit of sunshine this morning.

Diana

The way Santi wailed mi puuuuchis right before Esteban arrived was so funny to me.

Diana I encourage you to watch the episode one day when you feel up to it. Or at least try to find a clip of Isa being the folksy Mexican. It's really funny.

I may have to make ¡Ay ay ay mi cochinito! My new catch phrase.

Oops. Comment bomb.

I hope that Nicolasa's victory means she and the other minion will gain some independence from Francis.

I'm worried that Hilda is still gonna be around. Her name has been on the credits since the beginning.

Sara, thank you so much for the fantastic recap. You sure did justice to such an action packed fun episode. Loved your translation of "ligerita" slut light! Yes, Susana was in "strike mode"!!! When this is long over, that is one image I will always remember when I think about this novela.

My faves:

The writers are playing with us again. This time it was with the proverb: "Río revuelto ganacia de pescadores". Estefany said that several episodes back to herself and this time Esteban said it.

The Susana video.

Facundo talking to his best friend: the horse. The animated devil and angel talking to Facundo.

Santiago following Isabel, taking the photo of Isabel and Esteban and driving her crazy. He is the only one capable of doing that at the present time.

María repeating to Facundo that if Isabel had cheated with Esteban, how many more will there be (just to twist the knife )(so to speak) and Facundo not wanting to hear it.

María's nightmare with Isabel all "countryfied" and María so elegant.

I did not like Beto's response to Rocío about why he was at the party with Hilda: basically it was just not to cause a commotion. Wrong response! He sounded just like his miguided father. Avoiding the "commotion" made things easier for Beto, but what about Rocío? Did he even think of her???? I did like Beto finally packing up Hilda's things. The Hilda character is an example of one of my most disliked telenovela characters: the bad girl who will not take "no" for an answer from a good guy.

It seems that the character controlling all of the important action is Isabel these days. I am ready for that to change.

Loved the episode. Cannot wait for tonight!!!

Jarifa

Isabel is definitely holding most of the mystery cards. And Esteban holds a few concerning Isa.

When did she and Este have an affair?
Is Ale Este's?
Why is she so hard on Rocio?
Why does she want Rocio out of the picture by a certain time?
What is the secret around Feli and Rocio's parents?
Who has Isa been confiding in on the phone about Rocio?

Jarifa-Thank you for pointing out all the lines that get repeated.I should probably make a list for my own sake. I love your list of favorites. Santi drives Isa up the wall and it's hilarious.

Looks like you're getting a good episode tonight!! I'll have the header scheduled to post at 8 CST, but take your time. Your recaps are worth the wait.

Vivi-I had almost forgotten that Isa has talked to some mystery person on the phone! Who could that be?

For anyone wondering about the line Esteban and Estefy used I copied this from wordreference.com (I sort of got the gist in Spanish last night, but this helped me more.)

A río revuelto, ganancia de pescadores / Fisherman make their day in troubled waters.
Explanation: People take advantage of troubled times.

I don't think the mystery person is Frederick, because she still seems to filter what she says, even to him. Fred doesn't seem the type who would be on board with a plan to push Rocio into rehab.

I think it's a new character. I'm talking out my rear end here, but I don't think Isa's sister is really dead. It's a terribly flawed theory though because it's just too out there.

Sara, thanks, as always.

Vivi, I would go as far as to say that Isabel holds all of the power cards at the present time. The fate of the Carmona family depends on Facundo being able to "defend" himself from her advances; the fate of her own family depends on her keeping or telling secrets about Esteban, Rocío, etc. It just goes on and on. Her "tentacles" are everywhere. If she disappeared, there wouldn't be much left. The only good part about Hilda is that she put Isabel on the defense.

Jarifa

Thanks Sara for more great word translations (yes, ligerita and mitotera!!)and of course all the rest of the details. The part that made me laugh out loud last night was when after being punched around at Stefany's apt., Esteban goes to his apt. only to have to deal with Isa. Then the doorbell rings and there's Santi leaning on the doorframe and Esteban completely deadpan, says Ay No knowing he's in for a few more punches. Great subtle acting by the actors. Esbeban is turning out to be the real scoundrel in this show.

Thanks Anon954. I have plans to rewatch the episode and I'll look out for Esteban and his deadpan delivery.

Wonderful recap!

Wow Hilda knows how to make a scene. With the dress and the hair...she looked like she was for sale. Pretty horrible to do what she did, even if she dislikes Rocio.

The advances show Maria and Fac reconciling. Hope there is a big "Lo Siento Mucho" from Fac to Maria. Just makes me wonder if Maria, after reconciling, will find out about the kiss between Isa and Fac.

I wish Carmen would stop moping over Feli and give Diego a real shot. I don't like her using him to make Feli jealous. That's high school stuff. Her maturity level needs to rise.

I agree, Carvivlie. That information was Isa's business, not Rocío's. Not that Hilda had a right to air Rocío's dirty laundry either, but it seemed even more stupid to blab about Isa.

Hilda looked like she was for sale. Hee hee.

I want the best for Diego. He's redeemed himself in my book and he deserves someone better.

Jarifa- your comment has left me with the desire to see an animated octopus with Isa's head.

What is this show doing to me?

It was funny that Hilda dressed up in ramera wear to look city-fied, but none of the city girls in this tn dress like that. Only when Rocio is in her dark moments does she put on one of her really short skirts, and everyone comments about it.

Sort of on topic. I did not like Carmen's dress or shoes. I loved her hair loose, though. I did like Diego's appreciation.

It's sort of interesting too that when the Carmona's came to town, they didn't even know how to use public transportation, whereas Hilda certainly had no problems with getting to Beto's office (oh, maybe with Facundo's help). She sure "citified" fast in many respects.

I think they dress Carmen to make her look juvenile on purpose. At the end I hope we get a more mature look (and brain) for her.

Hilda is definitely more worldly!

Sara, I went to bed and awoke with that image!!! All of the other characters have photos of their faces and south park like cut and paste bodies as they are wrapped in her tentacles. She must be mutant because she has more than eight tentacles to accomodate everyone. Call me egoísta, call me what you may, but I had to share that "disturbing" (Ha ha) image somehow some way.

Jarifa

Yikes, the last line is a rhyme! Time to get out and run some errands.

Jarifa

It is a brilliant image! I'm glad you shared! It really is perfect for Isa.

I have gained such an appreciation for animation and goofy comedy with this show. I'm glad I'm watching with comedy experts.

Hardly an expert but just love them. Glad there are similar minds watching this one. : )

Jarifa

I can tell you now, Jarifa that I will watch any comedy you watch.

I promise I'm not a stalker.

Carmen was the one who drove Hilda to, and dumped her in the office. But she was all set to leave on her own, so she does have some city navigation sense.

Sara: Thanks so much for the recap. Your comment about Hilde’s hair was a hoot.

Could both Rocio’s/Feli’s parents be alive? Could they be in jail for fraud? Isa mentions that their father was a bad businessperson. Could Rocio have different parents and be entitled to an inheritance? The age of 19 was stressed. Is 19 the legal age? Is Isa being paid to keep her and would lose that if she decides to move out?

Was hoping one of the Frances wanna-bes would win. So glad when Nic grabbed her crown from Frances. Have to say I LOVED Frances’ dress, though.

I’m with Vivi. HM has served her purpose. Get rid of her. But if she’s in the beginning credits, she’s probably here to stay for a while. I certainly wouldn’t want her for an enemy. She has no boundaries.

I think Hilda might be a melon-ho. She dresses like one and comes on to every guy she sees.

Fac’s angel was a bit freaky with his big Fac head complete with mustache.

I was thinking after reading the last weekends post about how perverse the dramas are becoming that I don’t know if I can ever go back to them. This is my second comedy in a row (can’t remember if Robo came after PEAM—if not that would make three in a row, I think). Except for a few forays into En Otra Piel and Kate del Castillo’s new one, I’ve watched mostly comedy for the last year or so.

Nanette

I worry about the comedies, though. I've lurked and it sounds like Osorio starts out as a comedy and gets dark. That would make me mad.

I think I'm just getting to where I like lighter TNs.

Forgot to say that Big Ed's Angel/Devil voice overs were funny.

Sara: agree about Osario. So far, ACT has been the perfect comedy TN for me. And I almost didn't watch it. Didn't think I'd like the country goes city storyline. Only started watching because it was on at 8:00, which is the perfect TN time for me. Now I'm hooked!!! I love it!!

I'm so glad you started watching! To me the best TNs are the ones you never planned to watch. Lol.

I was resigned to watching this one alone since it didn't look like Caray was going to cover it. I couldn't blame the recappers for needing a break since MCET was so long. I'm glad Vivi encouraged me to cover at least the first week. Here we are with our own little patio!

And it's such a nice little patio.

Sara good recap i loved the music video it was really good i hope Hilda go's away soon she shouldn't be saying isa business just to.get back at Rocio that's juvenile i hope that Maria becomes a business women and be successful i hope fac realises that isa is just not good poor estevon man santi is to funny beating up on estevon man santi can really piss off isa like no one else can i hope that Carmen gives Diego a real chance or that Diego finds a good girl for himself

Eva: For Diego, maybe Nic. Now that she's won the University Queen title she'll distance herself from Frances and become nice enough for him.

Eva- I'm not sure Carmen deserves Diego anymore. I keep thinking how she told him she was tired of hurting and asked him not to hurt her. And now she's hurting him!

Nanette - Nicolasa might be a good choice.

Sara: Diego has definitely redeemed himself, and pretty early in the TN, too! He certainly deserves to be happy.

Sara, thanks. I enjoyed reliving last night's episode with your recap.

Late to the party. I hope we get more dreams. I loved Susanna's. Maria looked smashing in hers, but I'm disturbed by its possible message. Does Maria have to "be somebody" other than herself for Facundo to take note of her worth? But I did like seeing Maria and Rocio getting along and working together and that Maria is unconsciously thinking about using her talent for design.

Hilda with Beto, bad. Hilda with Isa, good. But, yep, it's time for Hilda to go home now.

Oh. Niecie that's an interesting interpretation. And that is sad if that's the case. I do want a stronger Maria. But I don't want her to be something she's not.

I think Rocío and Maria would be a great team. And Tía Humilde needs to come to the city!

Sara i agree carmen doesn't want Diego to hurt her but yet she will hurt him and Nanette yes nicolasa should become good and date Diego i saw a couple of episodes back nicolasa looked hurt that Diego was with Carmen i could be wrong though

Eva: interesting observation about Diego and Nic. Now that you mention it, i that does sound familiar.

Thanks Niecie: I meant to mention earlier that I thought it was interesting that for all Maria's grousing about Rocio, she got along with her in her dream. Maybe Maria doesn't dislike her as much as she thinks she does.

Nanette you noticed at well i will have to go back and find that episode and tell you which one it is and as for Maria not likeing Rocio it's just Maria wants what's best for beto but Maria is a mom so no one will be good enough for beto in her eyes or for her other kids either

Let us know when you find it, Eva. I would like to watch it too.

And you are so right about Mama Maria. No girl will be good enough for her son.

I think she's secretly holding out for Hilde as a nuera.

LOL, Nanette. That would make me question Maria's sanity. I was happy to see her giving Hilda the stink eye.

Hahaha! Vivi beat me.

I wonder if knowing Tía Humilde approved of Rocío has helped soften Maria.

Sara will do i am looking for it now
