Amores con Trampa #60 Facu shows the neanderthal genes in his ways of getting Santee out... Ale returns home but she can't trust Isa

IsaBella upset, very worried about Alejandra’s whereabouts.
Grandma and Maria talk about where Ale could be.  Maria finds Alejandra in the Cow area. Seems she slept the night there. They bring Ale inside, suddenly she is surrounded by all the Carmonas. She asks if she can call Maria ‘auntie’ and Grandpa ‘abuelo’. They are fine and glad with it.  Gusana asks Ale if she is mad about what she had told Andres. Ale says no. Jacinto says if Andres does not notice her he is a dumb a__.  Ale looks at Jacinto with gratitude.  Grandpa wants Jacinto to sing a corrido to Ale to lift her spirits. She says no need.  Grandpa insists.  Jacinto climbs on the chair to set up.  But he wants to be alone with her when he sings it.  They joke around about Facu not really being good for singing (LOL!).  Santee and Isabella come in running upset. Ale yells at Isa to leave her alone. But they want Ale to come back home with them right away. They grab Ale and Santee hugs her. They are very grateful with the Carmonas. Maria says just go take care of her.
At Valencias’ Isabella starts nagging at Ale… first you have to take a bath. Rocio rolls her eyes and face at that comment.  Santee is only glad she is ok and back home.  Isabella insists in her taking a bath. Now it is Feli’s turn to protest loudly to Isabella. Rocio adds that Ale was cold all night. Santee wants Isabella to fix her up a warm soup or tea.  Isa reacts ‘excuse me?... you are right, sometimes I hate myself.. please forgive me dear…’ (I can’t believe she insisted a third time that Ale take a bath).  Santee tells Isabella that she needs to take care of Ale.  He has to go deal with the issue of Facu having bought the boutique. Ale gets nervous at their intent to leave her alone with Isabella. Santee tells Ale that it is time her ‘mom’ do what she should. Isabella also protests the plan.  Rocio tells Ale all she has to do is rest, she won’t go to school today. Santee asks Ale again to let her ‘mom’ take care of her.  Feli hugs Ale before he, Santee and Rocio leave. Ale looks very fearful.  Isabella tells her ‘I love you with all my heart… even if you don’t believe it…’  She finally hugs Ale  (‘bout time, woman!”)
At Carmonas kitchen Grandma talks to Gusana and Jacinto that it is good that Ale is finally home and safe.  Grandma says next time they need to speak up sooner about any issues with Ale.  Jacinto says he will be closer to Ale all the time.
At their bedroom, Maria keeps worrying about Ale’s face when Isabella showed up. If any of her kids looked at her like that she would die.  Facu says don’t worry so much about her.  He says Isabella is a bit out of it (loose screws), that is why she goes around like a freaked goat hopping around all over.  Maria says Isabella warned her she would not stop until Facu was with her. Facu reassures her he only has eyes for her.  Maria says she knows, but she feels bad for Santee who has to withstand Isabella. Facu says Santee just needs to spend more time at home to watch her.  Maria keeps talking about Santee and Facu gets angry.  Maria suggests they give Santee a hand… Facu has an idea about that…

Isabella gives Ale a soup… but it is so bad Ale spits it right out, says it tastes horrible!  (what are ‘grumos’?). Isa acts like its no big deal, its just part of the soup and if she does not want to eat them, she can just leave them aside.  Ale says its even cold and not mixed well. (was this a soup mix she didn’t bother to blend in or heat it enough?)  Isabella admits she is not perfect and ‘supposedly full of defects’ but please at least value the effort I am making.  Ale mentions the issues between Isabella and Santee, Isabella says you can’t get in the middle of that, you don’t know what is going on between us.  Ale says she will just go heat up the soup more.  The doorbell rings, and Isabella nags there’s no one to answer the door.
At the office, Facu tells Santee he is worried about Santee’s family situation.  Santee wants to keep the business and personal matters separate. Facu says you don’t need to worry about your business matters since I talked about that with the board here… so you should go home and take care of your family affairs.  Santee protests about Facu intending to get him out of his own business.  Facu reminds him he is the owner now and tells him flat out ‘and today is your last day in the company!’.  Santee freaks out, takes his jacket off… Facu tries to talk him out of violent behavior… Santee is rolling his sleeves and then runs around the desk after Facu… Facu insists that Santee should go home and take care of his family and also try to get the money to pay him.  Santee starts shadow boxing. Facu warns that if he engages he will rip him apart.  Santee insists… but Facu calls the secretary ‘Srta Veronica’ and summons the security guys … tells Santee ‘se me pone de pechito’ and he had no choice but to call security on him.
At Velascos, Esteban shows up and pushes his way in.  Isabella is upset and worried about him being there.  Esteban demands that she come see him in the afternoon. Don’t leave me waiting!.  Isabella promises she will go, but not right now. Esteban steals a kiss from her and Alejandra sees it. When Esteban leaves, Ale comes out and demands an explanation from Isabella. She heard it all (todo!).
Santee is fighting the security guards… Facu says he looks like a ‘crazy hen’ (gallina culeca)… The guards are having a hard time carrying him out. Suddenly Felipito (as Facu calls him) shows up and fights the guards. Beto grabs Felipe from behind. Facu explains that he was sending Santee home to take care of his family affairs.  Felipe yells at Santee to calm down. Beto gets on Facu’s side telling Santee not to feed the fire (echarle leña a la lumber) any more.  Facu asks ‘lets see, neighbor, are you really angry?? ‘  Santee responds ‘noo…. Just tell them not to grab me so hard’.  Facu asks the guards not to be rough on him.  They take Santee away and the secretaries run out kind of freaked out after them.  Facu ends up alone with Felipe and Beto… Facu wants them all to get to work. Feli is a bit unsure and crosses his arms. (not sure why but Facu got Beto and Felipe to put coins in the piggy bank he has on his desk… LOL!)
Isabella tries to sell the story to Ale that Tio Esteban did not end well after the accident and has traumatic hallucinations and nightmares… Ale does not buy it.  Isabella insists Esteban is nuts.  Ale says you don’t even lie that good.  Isabella changes strategy and says Santee has too many problems to handle any of this.  Asks her not to tell Santee. Ale says if my dad is not well it’s your fault.  Isabella insists it is Santee’s fault with his obsession to harm the neighbors.  Ale says my dad at least loves us!  Isabella claims that Ale got the smarts from her. Use it!  Ale says she prefers to be like Rocio than like her. Isabella says ‘fine but then don’t get me in any trouble… and offers Ale another soup… but Ale yells that she does not want ANYTHING from YOU!! And runs out.  Isabella keeps her ‘why me??’ pitiful skid.
Esteban is at Mireya’s office again, he is running out of patience, he does not have Isabella eating out of his hand yet.  Mireya asks him to be patient.  The pills will eventually give Isabella a temporary out of control mental state.  Esteban says if she gets to that state he will be able to control her.  Mireya says that’s the idea.  Esteban congratulates his ‘lover’ on her brilliant plan.  When he leaves she seems to have a machiavelic smirk (maybe she has an agenda of her own).
Outside Esteban’s apt, seems Estefani plans find something to get rid of Isabella, puts on a ski mask and jacket and goes in.
At the office, Felipe confronts Facu (playing with an apple in his hand, Facu offered a banana LOL!) and says he does not agree with the approach to get Santee out of the office. IT was too violent.  Beto seems to agree with Feli and Facu gets confused as to which side he is taking.  Asks Beto to come stand by him.  (LOL!)  Feli says the money is not the problem, it is the humiliation!! (Feli punches the desk and hurts himself). Feli reminds Facu that the company was Santees until recently. Facu says ‘and remember how he was handling it!’ Facu asks Feli to trust him. It is for the wellbeing of your household. Feli says I hope so.
At Esteban’s, Estefani is searching all over for something… then she hears noises.  Its Esteban coming back.  He ends up fighting the ‘intruder’ and when he is about to beat Estefi up with a broomstick, she screams it is her.
At San Bartolo el Chico, Tia gets startled about Hilda’s new dress purchase.  Hilda bought some sexy dresses intentionally.  She is going out to find a new boyfriend.  Tia protests its not a garment, its more like a napkin! If you don’t catch a client, you will catch a cold! LOL! Hilda plans to catch at least 2 bfs! Hilda keeps talking about ending up with Beto. Tia is disappointed… Better show some dignity… won’t go far without it.
Esteban won’t spill the Isabella secret to Estefani.  Next time she breaks in at his place he will call the cops.
Santee arrives home with a box and Isabella guesses right that Facu kicked him out of the company. Isabella says ‘told you so’. Santee says it wasn’t just a kick off, it was a humiliation!  Tells her Facu said Santee has to spend more time with his family.  Isabella says he made it easy for you. Now you can dedicate time to your new company.  They end up arguing… He can’t get the new company going because the documents are not ready/approved for the money to begin working for me!  She warns him not to send the new company to ruin. He says he can’t ruin what he’s not authorized to manage yet!  Something that doesn’t yet exist!  Please!! Don’t attack me any more! On top of the humiliation I am suffering at the hands of that farmer dresses like executive!  Isabella says she can’t stand the idea of having him there at the house to stare at. Santee needs a valium right away!
Grandpa talks to the hens to give him more ‘huevitos’.  He remembers when Facu was a little boy, says he was always his mama’s boy.  Beto comes by.  Grandpa says was remembering things…  the past should always stay as that, the past.  Beto asks about the memories.  Grandpa says memories are also in the past.
Back to the Velascos. Ale comes to greet Santee. Probably the only good person to ‘understand’ him.  Santee says that farmer kicked him out. Here is your papito jobless.  Isabella pulls Ale away… doesn’t want Santee to fill Ale with hatred and fears.  Ale says the one that lies is her.  Santee says what is important is her.  How are you, dear? Has your mom treated you right?  (Ale looks back a bit unsure) Ale tells him Isa fixed her a soup.  Santee thanks God (sarcastically of course) that Isa fixed Ale a soup!! He heads over to ‘purify/cleanse’ himself.  Ale tells Isa that she did not tell Santee about Esteban to not give him any more problems, not to help Isa.
Later outside, Isabel brings Ale a drink and sandwich.  (the cow is roaming around behind them LOL!)   Isa reminds Ale she fixed her sandwiches when she was little… Ale says she remembers, but can’t figure why she stopped making them for her.  Isa says she did not think Ale cared about that.  Isa again pulls the crocodile tears to try to justify herself ‘but I love you, dear… you are my reason to live, my sun!’  Ale says she sometimes feels like Isa does not love her. Isa reassures her she loves her ‘you are my daughter and I love you!... if I hurt you… please… forgive me!... do you forgive me ?’   Ale does. ‘I love you!’.
At their bedroom Facu explains to Maria why he kicked Santee out of the company.  He does not want for him and Maria to keep arguing about Santee.  Maria tells him that they have ended up with their businesses and even their children prefer to spend their time with us… what did we come to do? To steal their lives?  Facu does not appreciate being made to believe that he is the villain of the movie.  Maria warns him that Isa’s issues will end up making Santee crazy.   Maria says she needs more wool for the knitting of the shawls.
At the university, Francis catches up with Feli. He has been missing classes and exams.  Feli is a bit rough, just says he has been busy doing some things.   Francis grabs the paperwork Feli has in his hands. She reads it without his consent. Turns out he is withdrawing from the school. She is upset.
Rocio tells Maria that her latest shawls are even better than the earlier ones.  Maria also brought some potholders and other works she has done herself as well.   Maria asks Rocio how her uncle is.  Grandma slaps her butt in disagreement.  Maria asks Rocio how he is healthwise. Rocio has a sort of suspicious face.
Facundo is walking the Facu horse around talking to him just like Grandpa was talking to the hens.   He says if he loses Maria and his children like Santee is going through, he would die.  Without his knowing, Grandpa has been listening to what Facu was saying. Grandpa says to himself ‘how right you are in all you said… if you only knew how much your mom loved you… but we better leave the past in the past… it is so painful… we should not think about that. No.’
Prev: Isabel ends up without money and without Facu.  But not all is lost.

Maria tells Santee that she does not agree with the way Facu kicked him out and won’t let him work, she could help him with that. (boy Maria, some people REALLY ask for the whipping they get)

I love Fridays because I get to hear from Marta! The recap is wonderful as always. Thank you! I loved all your little comments. I don't know how, but I missed the cow. I will have to watch that scene with Isa and Ale again. Thank you for noting it. I don't want to miss any second of animals.

I've decided any scene with Grandpa is a good scene.

Not happy to see Hilda, but at least I got to see Tía Humilde.

Marta good recap thank you poor ale she has t see estevon kissing her mom o my santi is to funny now santi can bother isa more ai estefany is t funny breaking and entering lets see if estevon doesn't want to drive estef crazy to at least ale was found and Maria has a point they might be turning into los velosco

Marta, thank you for your most excellent recap. I sure enjoyed it.

"Grumos" are lumps. Seemed like the soup was not heated up enough.

I really felt bad for Alejandra. Back hime she went from the calm and caring of the Carmona's to the crazymaking world of Isabel which made her be taken to the Carmona's in the first place. It was so depressing when Felipe, Santiago and Rocío all had to go to work, school, etc. because they left her alone with Isabel. They knew that Isabel was her usual nasty self: she could not give up the idea of Alejandra needing a bath first and foremost but they all left Alejandra with her anyway. I wonder if Alejandra will keep the secret of seeing Esteban kissing Isabel from Santiago. I hope not.

Granpappy Porfirio reminiscing and trying not to remember at the same time was poignant. Sara, I agree that any scene with him is a good scene.

María was right that the Carmona's do look like they are turning into the Velasco's especially after hearing about how Facundo had Santiago publically removed by the security guards.

Looks like Hilda will be back to fight another day for her Beto, Betito, Betote or whatever she says.

Jarifa

I liked Isa telling her family she is not bipolar she is " tripolar".

Hey Kirby- I know you say thank you on other threads. Why not here? Marta deserves it.

Marta, terrific recap and loved your commentary. Always a treat spending Saturday morning with your storytelling.

I like that Maria is disagreeing with Facundo on his treatment of Santi, but I sure hope she stays open about it and doesn't go behind Facu's back.

Nice to see Tia Humilde and I actually get a kick out of Hilda. No way will Hilda interest Beto, and Rocio is too smart to fall for her crap. I think I have residual welcome for Hilda cause she stuck it to Isa.

ITA any scene with Porfirio is a good one. Hmmm, seems like he and Fac's mom had problems. Wondering if she left him.

Loved Facu the horse getting walked by Facu. Will horse Facu tell rooster about their chat? I hope so.

Estefany breaking into Esteban's was a hoot. She gave him a pretty good right hook in their fight, but I guess she gave up cause she didn't want her face ruined by his broom handle. So she's wearing her usual eye makeup, but Esteban doesn't recognize her till he pulls off her ski mask. Oh-kay.

Just watched the episode. What a treat to have it and your recap over breakfast. Thanks, Marta!

Glad Ale was found, safe and sound. It was so sweet how Maria was hugging her and all the Carmonas were surrounding her. Did you notice the live roosters on the shelves behind them in that scene?

Fac needs to listen to Maria. It's fine for them to take over the Velasco businesses, but they should take care to remain the caring people they have always been.

Live roosters? I'll look for them when I rewatch the episode.

I also liked that scene with all the Carmonas being with Ale.

And yeah, Niecie... We're due for some talking animal scenes.

The Stefi Esteban fight was hilarious. Loved the punch she gave him. He's always teasing her about her shadow boxing, now he got a taste. Hehe.

Because of you.

Wow, Kirby. Just because you disagree with a commenter is no reason to not show respect to a recapper. You know how hard they all work, for free, to give us these recaps. Disagree, debate, whatever, all you want in comments. But never just disregard the recapper that generously gave you the place and the content to comment on. That's just petty.

Thanks, Marta. Excellent recap. I'm really enjoying your comments.
I'm a little bugged by the scenes where a saddled up horse is in the background at night - presumably to add color/context. Hmmm. It strikes me as incongruous every time.

Denise

I don't know much about horses. Is it because he still has the saddle on at night? I'm trying to ask if it's best that horses be without the saddle if they are just hanging out.

Normally a person wouldn't leave a horse saddled up for hours on end - especially not at night. When the ride is done, the saddle comes off. I do love seeing the animals, especially the horses.

Denise

Thank you, Denise. I love the animals, too. I bet they are well taken care of and I bet they get a whole lot of lovin' from the cast when they aren't filming.

Forgot to ask/say. Could Hilda have also purchased the dresses for the party? Because please let's finally have the party.

Denise- I'll start paying attention to whether the horses are saddled from now on.

Sara- Yes. I think the dresses were for the party. Hilda wants to make an impression.

Snort. "Make an impression."

I'm sure it will be a bad one.

Yup. LOL!

And we are probably all going to hate her and want to kick her in the shins, but I'm sure at the same time it will be funny. Or at least I hope it's funny.

Speaking of funny. I love how Esteban is so mwahaha villain mode sometimes and then all kinds of straight man to Estefy's slapstick too.

You are all welcome for the recap. I did not mean for it to be that lengthy but i just didn't know what to leave out... so i was typing warp speed and got basically most of the episode. As far as Kirby... hey, i don't expect thanks from everyone that comments here. I just do this because i feel like sharing my bilingual skills and time... not to see how many 'thanks' or likes i get. LEts keep it fun. Sara, thanks for your intentions.

Sorry Marta. I did not realize I was making this not fun for people.

Jarifa- I will still put up a post for you if you would like for Wednesday and Thursday, but I will not be doing Mondays and Tuesdays.

Sara, say it isn't so. We NEED you here. Let's all be friends.

Sara, you totally keep this fun for us! I think you may have misunderstood Marta's post.
We all love your comments and your company.

Denise

What chu talkin' bout, Sara?! You are the heart and soul of this thread. You can't leave us!

Sara - I look forward to visiting every day to read the terrific recaps and comments. You started this community single-handedly and you, Jarifa, and Marta have made this a great hangout for enjoying Amores. Please don't let anything or anyone spoil the party.

If Carmen doesn't treat Diego right, maybe Hilda can be redeemed and wind up with him? I'd prefer her to Francis.

No, Sara, the last thing I want is for you to leave us! the only reason i don't participate during the week is that i am searching for my next career opportunity but that will come anytime now and i will definitely be coming more often... please dont leave us! you are the heart of this forum.

O no Sara please don't go you are the heart of this thread you are good at recaps and comments don't let someone else opinions get you down we all really like you Niecie you are right Carmen needs to treat diego right and yeah maybe Hilda can be redeemed and be with Diego

Sara, I so sorry to hear your decision. If it weren't for you this blog for Amores would not be here. You put so much work into getting it organized and keeping it going. Needless to say, I will not be asking you to post a header for me on Wed. I hope you reconsider.

Jarifa

Thank you for your kind words, everyone. I truly don't want to stop doing this. For the most part it is very fun. But I have started to cringe every time I get a notification that someone has left a comment.

Some are offended that I ask that they say thank you. Some people admitted that they purposely did not say thank you because of me. I have even been called a "Thank you Nazi."

I understand that some recappers do not want the thanks, but it is not in the spirit of Caray to ignore the recap. The recapper may not care, but I do...because ignoring the recap and the work that goes into it is not what Caray is about. Jane has always made that clear. Those who post have the responsibility to delete comments that are rude to the recappers and to other commenters. We also have the responsibility to delete crude and offensive comments.

And I see comments elsewhere becoming increasingly crude and sometimes derogatory. Again, that is not in the spirit of Caray. I do not subscribe to the philosophy that any comment is a good comment.

That being said, I want to continue because I love this show. More importantly, I love the patio. But I will also continue to insist that people say thank you or acknowledge the recap. When I have the power to do so, I will delete any comment that does not include a nod to the recap or is otherwise crude, offensive or just plain random. I hope that doesn't bother anyone.

Sara, this is such good news! There would not be any fun on the patio without you!

I understand and appreciate you following the Caray guidelines and have no problem with how you do business. When I first discovered this blog three years ago, the good will , good taste and the civility of the discourse here made me want to participate. It was so unlike the other blogs I had experienced. Unfortunately endemic to all blog culture, there seems to be those whose only aim is to sow discord and debase the discussion.

That being said, I am looking forward to a fun week with the Carmona's and Velasco's and the party if we are lucky.

Jarifa

Yay! This made my day! Well, spending the morning and afternoon with my Dad made my day, but this was the cherry on top reading that you're staying with us, Sara.

Francis vs Hilda...hmmmm? I don't know yet if I can get behind either of them being reformed for Diego. Certainly Hilda did win a few points for sticking it to Isa.

Gracias Sara.

ok i'll do my part too. i promise i will come by every evening/night to read the recaps and comment for everyone.
thanks Sara for staying and keeping the patio open.

Everyone,
I cannot tell you what a HUGE relief it is to read these messages of support. This has been weighing on me all weekend.

Marta-Please do not feel like you are not doing your part. You are recapping...and on a Friday evening at that. I appreciate your giving up a Friday evening so the rest of us can relax knowing that whatever we don't understand, you've got our back.

Anon7:52-¡Con mucho gusto!

Vivi-I hope your dad had a great Father's day! (I'll get to Hilda and Francis in a moment.)

Jarifa-Thank you, thank you, thank you. Caray is a wonderful place, that is why it is so difficult for me to be "mean." I am hoping maybe I can persuade you to still share your skill with us.

Eva- you've posed a very interesting question.

Hilda has been awful. But I have to admit there is a itty bitty piece of me that is so entertained by her that I don't really want her to be redeemable.

Francis gets on my nerves in a BIG way.

BUT I would rather see Nicolasa for Diego or a completely new character.

Sara, I am ready to go for Wed. and Thurs. with your "header" assistance. Looking forward to this week.

Jarifa

Woo hoo! I will do that! Mil gracias!

About the party-If it falls on a MOnday or Tuesday and you and Marta are DYING to recap it, let me know. I could switch days and y'all could share the recap.

Thank you for your kind offer but I am fine with things as they are. : ) No worries.

Jarifa

OT: for anyone who remembers Guy Ecker, Cafe con Aroma de Mujer is the first big novela he did in Colombia (Cafe is the predecessor of Destilando Amor and of Cuando seas mia both from Mexico)... watching Capitan Camacho i just saw a commercial that Cafe will be shown on MundoFox 'Muy pronto' and updated to HD (basically like a colorized version of a black and white novela). will give more details as I find out when and what time.

Ok Jarifa!

Marta, let me know if you want to do the party...whenever it comes up (which better be soon.)

Also Marta: I so wish I had MundoFox. They have some MundoFox shows on Hulu. I wonder if they will put Cafe on Hulu.

Sounds interesting. Thanks, Marta.

Jarifa

I just looked up the first capítulo of Cafe. I love the theme song. Which means I would probably like it. Which means I'm even more annoyed I don't have MundoFox. I've got tons of Spanish channels and not that one. Grrr.

Sara, see if Hulu has Sura y Seyit. it is a novela translated to spanish from somewhere in middle east (setting is in Istanbul, not sure what country it is from). It is GREAT... beautiful romance and storyline... it just finished in MundoFox a couple weeks ago. setting is in Istanbul probably in 19th century.
around the time the english had the country taken and the locals(rebels) were pushing them out. If it is available on Hulu you might want to check it out. the guy is gorgeous. and the girl is really pretty. even the villain is good eye candy, but...

if you have time watch the first 6 episodes of Cafe... then you might want to jump about 20 eps ahead until they meet again. i have cafe summaries in Yolette's old La Mentira forum. if you go to telenovela-world.com you will see the link La Mentira USA in the archive section.
i have a zip file if you want my dialogues which are in spanish but with english comments.

Hulu doesn't seem to have a lot of the MundoFox shows...but the MundoFox website seems pretty generous. They've got a lot of episode videos up. Maybe I'll get lucky and they will do the same for Cafe.

Vivi left this link to an article about the worst TN dad's on the Sombra thread. I hope she doesn't mind me sharing it here. They've got Santi on the list and I'm miffed about that :-) The argument is that he asked his wife to seduce the neighbor...but I don't think that makes him a bad dad. Especially considering how awful Isa is. I couldn't believe she had to be be practically forced to stay with Ale after she was found.

http://www.latintimes.com/happy-fathers-day-2015-13-worst-telenovela-dads-el-senor-de-los-cielos-que-te-perdone-323806

And I forgot to correct myself last night. I said I didn't think Hilda was redeemable. What I mean was I DO think she's redeemable. Depending on how they write it I could maybe...maybe see Diego with her. Diego seems to have good taste in girls. He went out with Rocio, didn't he. He wants someone down to earth and he seems to see the good in people. So Hilda has to really prove herself IMO.

Niecie-Should I set up a little card table for Hilda? I do find her entertaining, but a card table is easily taken down (and hidden so we can act like we never said any of this.)

I totally agree. Santiago is a rat of a husband but a great father. Must be watching another show.

Jarifa

Yeah, Santi was the only one of the dads on that list that I didn't agree with. He's nowhere near perfect, but he loves and adores those kids and they all know it.

Sara - You are cracking me up. Yep, a card table for Hilda is best. She is sure to embarrass anyone who vouched for her.

I think the Velasco children are actually quite tolerant of the foibles of their parents/tios. They accept and love Santi, even while having no problem calling him out for his bad deeds. I think they would also embrace Isa with open arms, even as crazy as she is, if it didn't seem like she goes out of her way to hurt them all the time.

Niecie-One card table, coming up! I don't know why, but I just feel like they are going to turn Hilda around. I think I am letting my feelings for Humilde rub off on Hilda.

Vivi and Jarifa-I really disagree with Santi on that list. Jarifa is right. They can't be watching.

And except for the seduction thing, which Isa refused to do until she saw Fac in the pool, he has been a pretty decent husband...oh ok and the Estefy thing...but it's clear he adores his Puchis.

Re: cafe TN. SN was in a version of it for Azteca.

And I think that SN version is available on Hulu. Cuando seas mia, right?

Azteca shows aren't awful. I'm watching one now.

This comment has been removed by a blog administrator.

When you get a chance, Marta do you mind removing the spam? Thanks!

In Santi's defense a little bit, he meant for Isa to lead Facundo on but not actually sleep with him. That does make him a not-so-hot husband, but he's been good to the kids.

Sara: correct.

Side note: IMDb has this annoying habit of using the English translations of TN titles as the main title.

Nanette- Let me guess: The translations are horrible?

Niecie-True. Isa is the one that has gone way overboard.

Nanette, yes SN was in Cuando Seas Mia with Sergio Basanez (Juan from the original La mentira.) I remember it took me a while to get used to SB with long curly hair. lol!
Sara, sorry but i don't see spam buttons anymore, even in the blogs i created.

So you don't see a little trash can at the bottom of the post? drat.

sorry, my new laptop has a weird trash can icon there... but i got it out.

Yay! Thank you. Poor Linda. No one wants to hear her message.

New laptop?? Do you love it? Is it awesome?

its taking me some getting used to it with the google and auto zoom

I hate having to adjust to a new computer.

Yay Sara you are staying i would rather see Diego with Nicolasa as well yeah start a card table I'm in santi is a very good dad lousy husband but good dad i guess they are seeing another tn speaking of tns i no a good one on Azteca it's called caminos de huanahuto it's pretty good

I want to see that one, Eva!! Is it airing in the US?

Oh Marta, you painted a beautiful picture on your canvass of stirring, fascinating words! I loved the recap, replete with embedded vocabulary.

"Esteban congratulates his ‘lover’ on her brilliant plan. When he leaves she seems to have a machiavelic smirk (maybe she has an agenda of her own" was excellent - there were just too many wonderful lines to note.

Thank you in advance for your recaps Jarifa and Sara which I will go back and read. So happy to have my computer back!

Dear Sara, so happy you are staying here with Caray, your family. It would never be the same without you. You give life, vibrancy and happiness to all of us.

My recent brain aneurysm has taught me to cherish and savor every bit of life and love that I can. I am so grateful and happy to be here with all of you! I can't wait to read what happens next!

Diana

Sara yeah it's here un the us the channel is called Azteca America

DIANAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!

So glad to have YOU back. And with a new computer. Do you know how much Caray LOVES you?

We've got Marta with a new laptop and Diana, too.

Time to PAR-TAY!

Eva-What? I've got Azteca America and I watch a show on there and there hasn't been a word about Caminos a Guanajuato. Oh, now I"m sad.

Sara, I'm laughing my head off at your avatar! Love it.

Thank you for the warm welcome back. There's no place like "home".

Diana

Diana!!! So lovely to "see" you, amiga and to know you're doing better.

Hi Diana welcome back i am glad you are ok i am new comer kinda Sara it is on my Azteca America unless mine is from Mexico because we have the Latino package and English as well sorry about that i thought you would have it as well

No problem, Eva. :-)

I have Azetca America, but maybe you are getting the feed from Mexico. I'm watching a show on Azteca right not (Asi en el barrio...) I'm sure I will see promos when Caminos airs on my channel.

Eva, thanks for your kind words - look forward to reading your comments.

Diana

Vivi, wonderful to "see" you! Life is good.

Diana

Diana you are very welcome life is awesome Sara yeah i guess that's what it is i hurd about that one i will definitely check it out who's in it i am watching one online from televisa called Amor de barrio it is very good i recommend it

A belated thank you to Marta for an awesome recap.

My fav part: the secretary running/screaming around Fac's office.

I like the Nic/Diego pairing idea. The less I see of Hilda--the better.

I got a new laptop a year and a half ago. I've been on it maybe 10 times. I hate it. Actually, it's not the computer--I love Dell--it's that dratted Windows 8!

Oh Nanette! I've heard that Windows 8 is awful.

I've got a laptop, but mainly I use my chromebook.

Diana - Welcome back! So glad to hear you're feeling better.

Hi Niecie! Thanks so much. I am looking forward to the recap tomorrow and to read your comments. You never, ever fail to make me smile!

Diana

Sara: one of my probs was that I had my previous Dell for 10 years and never upgraded Windows. So I went from Windows XP to Windows 8. Culture shock!

Yikes! I'm shuddering just thinking of the learning curve. I can barely change from one OS to the next upgrade. That's a big jump.

Diana, so good to see you back and with a new computer yet! That is always fun. Looking forward to you comments and opinions.

Jarifa

SOOO glad to see you back, Diana! You are blessed, praise God, and i pray and wish you continued recovery.

Sara, see if you recognize the young woman in about min 29 of this video... (its a Cafe video)

Marisela? Or the girl who calls the hospital room? Either way...I have no clue. LOL

Marcela was a very VERY young Danna Garcia (Pasion de Gavilanes, que bonito amor, etc etc).

Ok that explains it. I've never seen a show with her.

But wow! Geithner! So young.
