Que Te Perdone Dios #108, Double Vision: Max Does A Double-Take of Ximena's Fake
Renata walks into Fausto’s bedroom and pretends not to see Diana and Fausto aiming pistols at each other. To Fausto’s credit he doesn’t lie about Di being there. Ren asks her what the heck she’s doing in her hubby’s bedroom. Di says she’s there asking why Mateo hasn’t gotten home yet. (Yeah, like why not just go downstairs and ask the staff, or anybody else in the common areas of the house, right?) Di and Feisty lie about her leaving the room to rest up in her most delicate condition and then hiding in the corner with the gun still aimed at him.
Ren plays blind and dumb and leaves. However, once she gets back to her own bedroom she’s impactada at the sight of the two of them wanting to obliterate each other and wonders if they’re still lovers or what.
Back in draw-down central, Feisty’s fractious doxie of a daughter-in-law gets dissed once again. “—You should never have survived our accident. You ought to be in Hell about now.” “—Yeah, but the Devil left me alive to get rid of you for him.” “—Don’t you know you can’t harm me?” she tries shooting him in the foot but the revolver is empty, just like Fausto had warned her it would be. “—There’s not a person born who can get the better of me!” he informs her. She gives up—but not in. “--And? Now what?” He’s not going to bother killing her, especially not in his house, dirtying up his room. She claims he’s just a pitiful wuss. He slaps the crap out of her and then moves in on her; they launch into hot and heavy tongue swallowing. (I honestly don’t know how these two actors manage not to break up into uncontrollable giggles and guffaws after a scene like this…..)
Ren tells not so crazy Constanza what she just witnessed and how rotten it is to realize that those two have been laughing in her face and lying to her all these years while she’s been blind. Connie tells her to keep the farce up for a while longer. Then she hands her a gift—a picture of Pablo—that Efrain left her. Once Connie leaves, Ren remembers the happy—and the sad times—with him and tells him it’s finally time she says good-bye to him once and for all and gets on with her life. (I’ll second that.)
Meanwhile, DeeDee admits her great love for Fausto and he seems to reciprocate--well, more likely—basks in the glow. Of course, his curiosity and his ego get the better of him and he has to ask her (for which Viewerville is most grateful) just why in the world she would lower herself to get involved with a 2 bit, bottom-of-the-barrel peon like Lucio? “—Do you really have so little respect for yourself?” (Hey, when you bloat and blow up like a balloon, lose your figure and you’re pukey sick most of your waking hours, and then to top it off ALL the sexy men in your life all dis and/or ignore you in favor of your 180° opposite number, then you can come back and ask that question, you misogynist pile o’ crap! To DeeDee’s credit, tho’, she tells Feisty the same thing, but much more diplomatically.) He bluntly lays it on the line for her here, though: it’s an unavoidable thing, the attraction between him and Abigail. So sorry.
Di sets him straight and tells him it’s better they form an alliance to separate Abi from Mat who are together at this very moment. “—Go ahead. Have her whenever you want. User her. I just want Mateo to become disillusioned with her once and for all! The two sicko’s seal the deal with another tongue-swallowing spit-swap.
At the same time, Dr. Patricio is daydreaming and giddy over his feelings for Renata, especially now that operating on her eyesight was a success. Miracle Medical Man is Mr. Macho once again.
In town in San Real, Ximena is giving Daniela orders again. Follow them and stay put in this hotel room while she’s stuck with her husband arranging the wedding for Max and whatever. We learn that Xi has always bullied Dani and taken all the awards for good behavior while Dani had to take all the punishments for bad behavior.
Fausto is about to take Di back to her bedroom but when they open the door, they see Abi and Mat talking together. They note how the two of them are trying hard to evade the need to fall into each other’s arms and to make mad, passionate love together. Mat’s told Abi how he promised Dios he’d give her up.
Diana and Feisty close the door and she warns Fausto that now he’s seen it for himself he’s got to keep those two apart or they’ll end up in bed together. AND, Mateo will have been successful getting Abi to put out and he won’t. “—Once those two have gone to bed with each other they will be inseparable! (--Not to mention even more insufferable, right Dee!?)
Next vice-driven vixen, please! ---
Xi arrives at Padre Tomas’ office and arranges for him to officiate at Max’s wedding. While there, she simply cannot resist the idea of making a play for him. (What is with this? Tomas is Father Straight and Narrow.) Why, he thinks he's actually going to get this woman to admit her sins and beg for forgiveness right then and there? Tomas falls naively into her "confession" trap and then scolds her for rashly trying to seduce him like that. (Don’t they teach Vixen Detection and Avoidance and in Padre School anymore?)
Well, Dani has had all she’s gonna take of being imprisoned in some tiny hotel room. She takes her purse and heads into town.
Across the way, Comandante Barragan arrives at Porfirio’s townhouse to ask Max a few questions about what he knew concerning his father’s crimes. He’s certain Max knew about all of them and covered them up. Porfirio tells him he’s a day late and more than a few dollars short cuz he’s not going to get to his nephew. He's gotten his lawyers to tie the investigation in knots and to hamstring him. His nephew is only “one more victim” of Lucio Ramirez and nothing more, says Porfi. Obviously, if he covered up or obstructed anything it was because he had been threatened by Lucio and was forced to do what he did. Efrain must wait for the legal paperwork, to be delivered shortly, by his attorneys. “__You will not interrogate him let alone arrest him. In short, Max Zarazua is untouchable.”

parte 2~
Today’s so fine for Ren and Pat. He’s feelin’ fine so they pop the cork and discuss what they’d love to do once they’re officially together--museums and art galleries and traveling to Europe, among other things. That afternoon they finally decide those “other things” take preference and it’s then “Pablo who?”
At Ren’s rancho, meanwhile, Mat asks his wife to join him to see their surviving baby—you know, the one who is still at the hospital under incubation? Di begs off sick from but Abi offers to go with him instead. As Fausto’s just entered the room, he interrupts and says he needs Abi’s attention at the Enramada. She says sure. Di makes a big display of kissing Mat for Abi's benefit; Feisty’s plan goes slightly awry when Crazy Connie invites herself along to La En-Ramera…..
Outside of Dr. Pat’s bachelor pad, Max and Teodora are in the car and passing by. They just happen to catch sight of Xiela. Suddenly Max and Teo are seeing double. (Ruh-Roh!!!) Ximena gets out of her SUV and begins screaming at Dani for trying to visit her ex at his place. Max decides to follow the two of them and see if his stereo vision suddenly reverts to normal and why.
That evening, Macaria watches as Ren and Pats kiss good-bye outside in the fancy drive. Whatever she’s thinking it cannot be good.
Xi gets a fancy room in Valle instead and the two discuss the reason Dani was in the loonybin for so long and why Xi determined to get her out: because it suited her needs at the time. Dani and she were abused by their father and finally Xi persuaded Dani to kill him, tho’ Xi refuses to admit that it was her. Dani’s imagining that for whatever reasons…and Viewerville doesn’t give a damn why at this point. Dani, according to Xi, hasn’t got a personality of her own and only by living Xi’s life a while can she get people to look at her twice. That, of course, allows Xi to escape and do things she’d rather be doing at the time. (Sounds to me like they’re both sick puppies.)
Ren is reading and has to hide the book when Mac rudely opens the door without knocking. Mac is there to give Ren grief over having a lover and still trying to act holier than thow with her. She threatens Ren with telling Feisty and Ren doesn’t give much of a fight back. Ren tells her any word out of Mac’s mouth sounds dirty. Mac sneers back on her way out the door that Renata needs to choose her lovers and doctors more carefully, seeing as how this one is pretty useless. “—Afterall, you’re still blind," she snickers on her way out the door.
Xi promises Dani that after they leave there she gets her freedom back—and Pats, now that she’s dumped him completely. Dani needs to remember, says Xi, that she’s not allowed any of what’s hers till she’s done with ‘em. With that she exits and a minute later, Max rushes into the room accusing Dani of being his aunt’s twin. He wants an explanation of why she and Xi are playing this game and deceiving his uncle Porfi. At first she refuses, but when he races out to get the authorities or to tell his uncle or who knows what, Dani gives in and explains if her sister finds out that she’s accidentally given them away she will kill her for sure!

It's really awkward how Ximena is trying to seduce Padre T. He's not gonna be that kind of friend for her. She's really lost her mind. Maybe she's the one that should be in a manicomio. Poor Daniela couldn't stick up for herself and ended up killing their father on Ximena's orders.
Fausto was creeping like Rubio last night! He and Diana are disgusting. They go from almost killing each other to making out. I liked how Connie insisted on joining Fausto and Abi on their outing.
Nice to see Ren and Pat together. I hope that with Ren admitting to Fausto that they're together that it won't be serious consequences.
I hope that Renata doesn't get caught faking it.
Jardinera---I know your recap will be great when it comes up.

Countx- Pat and Ren are the ONLY romance we are getting in this tn, so I'm fully supporting it. Even though it's an affair. I don't know what the writers have been trying to sell us with Abi and Mat. Their whole deal makes my skin crawl.
I wonder what Max will do with his knowledge about the twins. Barragan is totally right that Max was Lucio's accomplice. He let Simona go to jail and have her reputation ruined for a crime he knew Lucio committed! Haven't seen him go apologize to her yet.
Vivi---Thanks, I had forgotten that Max had let Simona go to jail when he knew that
his dad Lucio was the killer. Now will there be an anvil waiting for Max or is he off the hook now that he is reformed and with Teodora?
So Fausto chasing young Abi has been foiled again. Great going Connie.

Fausto and Diana as you wrote are just sick,seriously making out after trying to kill each other. Also, how does Diana knot think that Fausto is behind her accident and he is the reason one of her children died.
I really don't want Pat to die, if not for anything but for Ren to have any happy ending, she deserves it after all the years of abuse she endured with Fausto and Macaria.
Even if Max get punished i just don't want him to die, he did something wrong and should also accept his responsibility in the issue but i hope he eventually gets his happy ending with Teo.
The writer will need a magic cleanser for my brain to make me root for Abi and Mateo, it looks like a train wreck and just super unhealthy relationship for both, is it just too much to wish for an open ending or an ending with new partners.
As for Daniela and Tomas - unless he gives up the priesthood that goes nowhere and we have not seen him want anything to do with Xiela. I don't see that happening. Mat and Abi is totally long-in-the-tooth at this point. They should have been in bed together ages ago, and Mat should have found out just prior that his wife had been unfaithful practically her entire pregnancy. B.O.R.I.N.G.

Anon 6/22 1:05AM"...Fausto is behind [Diana's] accident and he is the reason one of her children died." IMHO now that DeeDee knows those twins were really Mat's she could give a rap about them. The only reason she felt the slightest interest in preserving her pregnancy was because she believed they were Fausto's and she is in love with him and will follow him to the gates of Hell itself...where, as we all know, they're both destined to go eventually.

Vivi/Gringo: "...I had forgotten that Max had let Simona go to jail when he knew that
his dad Lucio was the killer..."--Me three! The Anvil cometh surely!
============
Gringo: "...Fausto chasing young Abi has been foiled again. Great going Connie." --ITSA! Crazy Connie has now become Conniving Constant Connie.
======================
TF/ViviDC: Forgot about the target on Patricio's backside. He'll get bruised and battered a bit, but I don't seem him playing Macho Man around Feisty and Sneaky P. He won't get the chance.
===========
Guess we have three more weeks of últimas semanas/capítulos with this one. About time Max and Abi make hay IN the hay!
Fausto & Diana: they're like the Telenovela version of Lucious & Cookie: MEXICO'S VERSION OF EMPIRE! THEY DESERVE EACH OTHER!
ViVi: Max needs an ANVIL too for letting Simona going to prison, what an A******!!!!!!
I'm hoping you're right about Renata having a happy ending with Patricio!!!!!
