It seems like the summer doldrums have set in here in Telemundo land but here is your post for this week.

up and coming with new promos,

"Bajo el mismo cielo"

"Señora Acero 2", five years later...
rumor Ana Lucia Domínguez joins the cast.

and talked about...

"La querida del centauro" with Ludwika Paleta, Michel Brown,
with Humberto Zurita as “El Centauro”
(and maybe Andrea Martí from Azteca).

Tierra and El Senor

I'm still interested, but just haven't been commenting. I'm getting pretty tired and bored with the Arturo
and Isadora situation. Enough already! I hope he gets rescued tonight.

AnonGringa

Tierra
I suppose Arturo has (never) removed his hat.

Tierra. It pains me to realize that Arturo is even less bright than I thought--but that knife was right behind him--in reach! Wouldn't it be easier to grab it and run Isadora through rather than trying to choke her to death--around her waist! Or is this just more sloppy writing? Also the writhing between Arturo and Isadora as Arturo tries to fool her into letting him go was almost as creepy as I expected--though nice facial expressions on Arturo's part letting the audience know he didn't really mean it. It looks as if tonight Veronica will try to rescue Arturo on her own. Vero, don't act in any horror flicks--you seem just like the kind of character who gets eliminated in scene 2. I hate to be so negative, but this is a telenovela which has a basically ok plot and ought to have potential to be pretty good.

Tierra. And now that Fernández knows that Isadora is a viable suspect in Arturo's kidnapping, how hard would it be to plant a bug on her car or person?

I think tierra de reyes is now getting good. I just come here to read recaps since im always at work and fortunately Spanish is not one of the languages I speak.

Thanks to all who do the recaps.

TELEMUNDO...

"Señora Acero 2" has begun production,

"begins with Sara behind bars. She has been waiting five years for a sentence in her case when an attack on her son Salvador (Michele Duval), now a teenager, drives her into a desperate attempt to escape Puente Grande prison."

this season directed by Miguel Varoni!

new cast along with Ana Lucia Domínguez, will include Diego Soldano ("the Miserables"), Carla Hernández ("Rosa Diamante") and Francisco Pakey Vázquez (tough guy Macario in "La Patrona").

http://www.nbcumv.com/news/telemundo-kicks-production-second-season-super-series-“senora-acero”?network=33144

Thanks for the information on upcoming productions, deb. I am looking forward to Senora Acero 2 and Bajo el mismo cielo.

On a positive note, Arturo's kidnapping has united all the Gallardos and del Juncos and sidelined Cayetana--she no longer has the power over her daughters that she used to. Neither Irina nor Andrea seems to be trying all that hard to please her any more. And Leonardo seems to be on the point of going so far too far that not even Cayetana will support him.

AVENIDA BRASIL

I feel so bad for Jorgito, he is so confused about Nina's behavior. He seems to loathe Carminha, so would he join in with the plan of vengeance if he knew the whole story? I wouldn't be surprised, especially if it meant reconciling with Nina. I feel bad for Debora too. The sex scene where she momentarily turned into Nina for him was a nice touch.

Nile in the silky shirt, gold chain and sunglasses was PERFECT as the bum-who-just-came-into-money 😆

~ Wee Rita

Tierra

What you described SpanProf is what makes this remake so annoying. They go practically scene be scene from Pasión de Gavilanes and then change something so that it makes no sense.

In PdG, the Arturo equivalent was mostly held captive sitting in a chair or standing with his arms chained above his shoulders (and his ankles chained to a table). The Isadora equivalent shows up; she orders her goons to handcuff the Arturo equivalent's wrists in front. He is standing. He says that he will do what she wants. She hesitates and he asks if she is afraid of him. He holds up his handcuffed arms and she goes inside his embrace. The Arturo equivalent doesn't kiss her, there is no knife. He says something about her liking to be in his arms and then he tries to crush the life out of her. She cries out, the guards come in, etc. Nice and simple.

Tierra

yeah, writing choices, who can figure them out, I don't even try anymore, I just laugh.

I'm starting to have some hope on the Cayetana front though

Variopinta -\ The Hat
they knocked it off him when he was kidnapped and he's been bareheaded since - do you think he'll die w/o it ?
or maybe that's where he keeps his brains/strength/utility and w/o it he's totally helpless - like Samson w/o his hair

So does anybody know what Bajo el mismo Cielo is about?
w/o spoilers I mean
I've seen the ads but want more story info
but I'm scared to look it up
whenever I look up tns online either I can't find anything but gossip about the actors or I get way too much info w/spoilers and practically the whole plot up to the end
maybe I'm looking the wrong places

Bajo el mismo Cielo

Hi Sneaky,

"Bajo El Mismo Cielo" marks another role for the multifaceted Mexican actor Gabriel Porras, who will give life to Carlos Martinez, a father in search of a better future for his children, and will experience the same difficulties that many immigrants currently face in search of the American dream. In the midst of his struggle for survival, he finds love in an unexpected way."

btw, this said to be an 'original' (although "Inspired by the screenplay "A Better Life" created by Roger L. Simon") so spoilers are tougher to find.

there is a new promo out as well.

cast here,
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt4433296/fullcredits?ref_=tt_cl_sm#cast

Bajo el mismo cielo. It sounds like one of those occasional high-quality telenovelas that are more than just a telenovela--that are seriously made and have an important social point. A Univisión example from a few years ago was Para volver a amar, which was about the status of Mexican women in the 21st century over a wide range of social classes in Mexico City, with the base story about a middle class real estate broker who struck out on her own to found a brokerage firm.

There was a movie with Kate del Castillo, Bajo la misma luna. Don't known if there is any relation. It was about an illegal immigrant (Kate) & her son, who is still in Mex.
It was an excellent movie.

@Wee Rita, poor Jorgito indeed. And Nina underestimated Carminha's craziness and her uncanny ability to sense bull a mile away big time. It takes one to know one and Nina ain't the one. Betania is in for a wake up call too.
Romy

According to Wiki bajo el mismo cielo is AKA El jardinero. It kind of sounds like bajo la misma luna that has replaced Kate with Gabriel.

Deb, thanks for all the info on what's in the pipeline. So is Bajo el mismo ciel going to replace Tierra? I'm not watching Tierra, so I don't know how far along it is. If I continue to feel so frustrated about Avenida Brasil, I might just abandon ship for Bajo. But perhaps not.

Juanita the Decisive :-)

@Romy

Yes, I think something bad is going to happen to Betania.

~ Wee Rita

Cielos3
????Do ay of you know what happened to Pilar????? & why???? & who did it????

Tierra. How exciting! I hope (and presume) that Arturo and Veronica are both still alive--but if Isadora captures them again, that will be too much!

Tierra. Though how many times--starting in childhood, and I'm very old--have I seen that burning off the ropes in the fire ploy? Glad they thought of it, though. :)

CIELOS III

@Variopinta - We don't know what exactly happened to Pilar because they didn't show us but after putting the pieces together within the last couple of days, it appears that she was kidnapped, raped, then killed by one of Marcado's members named Sylvestre.

Marcado's army is known as "Los M's" and they are known to kidnap women, turn them into maids, rape them, and kill em. Los M's represent today's modern Cartel of Los Zeta's. A gruesome Cartel that has no boundaries.

-VRO

Tierra
We know that Veronica lost her phone but Isadora didn't have one that Arturo could have used when they (temporarily) got the jump on Isadora?

Cielos 3
Tks VRO, I thought I missed that & didn't feel like watching again.
This is a lousy novela, but I have to stick it out, just hope it isn't much longer .
shoot, kill, rape, torture, snarl, repeat, repeat, repeat.

Tierra. Good point, Jean! And the (sort of) sad thing is that with just a little more attention to detail on the part of the writers, these lapses wouldn't happen. Otherwise, this telenovela has some exceptionally attractive actors and says some important things about love, family, justice, etc., as I've said before.

Tierra. For example, they could have Isadora's phone blocked for use by anyone who didn't know her incredibly complicated password + eyeball or fingerprint identity (or both!).

@Wee, Carmina is a formidable enemy. She thinks on her feet whereas Nina can't stand the heat. May I suggest she gets out of the kitchen, pardon the pun. At least, there will be some progress tonight.
Romy

Tierra. Or Arturo would try but wouldn't be able to get a bar to call out.

Tierra

I figured Arturo would be out of action for a while when Isadora and her two monkeys showed their faces, but I can't remember if he also saw Leo's face when he shot him, and looking at the wound I'd say Leo needs a little more practice if he wants to kill someone.

I think Alma was the last one seen with the hat.

Tierra. Deb: I'm guessing amnesia for Arturo and a coma for Verónica. :)

Thanks deb for all the info on Bajo el mismo Cielo
looks interesting

I could use something that makes sense for a change:)

Tierra

I know its a couple of days late but here's Tuesday's recap

part 1

Police station
Nestor and his 2nd Cabrera (yay I remembered his name!) question Isadora about where she has Art stashed, and she tries to find out from them who ratted her out.
Neither party gets what they want and Isadora leaves

The cabin of doom
Art verbally abuses the henchies despite being chained up and having his head upside down - they physically abuse him a couple of times and let him know he's a dead man.

Rancho DJ
Sophia has a nightmare about Art and wakes screaming, waking all the female members of her family, who come to soothe and pet her
Caye tells her daughters she turned Isadora in

Rocio flashes back to the awkward with Cabrera when he came to interview a hurt Pablo then flashes back to the sexxy w/Cabrera when she stayed w/him in Houston - looks like a good time was had by all, and she smiles to herself till Nieves interrupts

Valverde wants Isadora to send Art out of the country but *now * so she doesn't get caught holding him. She doesn't want to give up her toy and they argue about it. It ends up w/Valverde saying she is crazier than her mother and slapping her.
She starts asking questions about her mom; is she alive still, where is she, he says she's dead but she was crazy when she died and he doesn't want this mess w/Art to mess up his business. He gets out of there before she can ask anything else and Isadora remembers the woman in the manicomio talking about her daughter - penny drop?

Rancho Alcazar
Vero brings Pablo breakfast in bed and reassures him that she talked w/Rocio and told her its all over between them, and they're just friends now. - He says wow that's the lowest lie you've ever told, and she says for your baby's sake we have to make it true.
Vero is leaving and won't tell Pablo where she's going but says she hopes she'll be back soon w/good news

Sole calls the doc for Juana - she's acting all crazy and they don't know what's wrong -
The doorbell rings and its Vero's mom who wants to talk to Sole mother to mother
M cries about not having her daughter around anymore and asks Sole to convince Vero to come back to her, right after asking her how she could give her up for all those years (what nerve)
Sole reminds her it wasn't her choice, and says you could have given me a job and let me keep my baby but you took advantage of the situation and now why should I help you?
M says now I understand what you went through all those years. I wasn't that good a person but you are - please help me
The doc comes and takes a look @ Juana - can't find anything wrong and wants to commit her

Nestor checks in w/Caye, she seems genuinely worried for Art. He confesses his failure to get anything from Isadora, and when she asks why he's so nice to her confesses his love for her and goes in for a kiss.
Caye pulls away and says that it'd never work for them, they'll fight all the time and she's already got somebody. Nestor apologises and says it won't happen again- from now on he'll just be her friend but she can still count on him- he says that he's a good loser, and he won't rest till he finds Art and gives her an awkward cheek kiss and leaves.

Pati and Roger argue in the park. He's trying to keep her in the apt since Matamoros thinks she's dead and everybody else thinks she's in LA
She wants him to hurry up and kill Matamoros already so she will be free.
They are seen and recognized by 2 chicks that I don't recognize who will surely gossip about it and blow the whole deal for them (not a spoiler I've just watched tv before ever)

Tierra de Reyes Tuesday 6/9
part 2

Vero goes wandering off in the woods and gets caught - little red riding hood banter ensues

Isadora comes to visit Art and tells him she's going to release him, but to the next world. She won't let him live w/o her.
Art says then get it over with and then starts asking her who messed her up so bad.
She flashes back to a younger her in bed w/some dude she says she loves. Dad bursts in and has the dude dragged away and starts beating on her calling her a slut.
Apparently Art saw the flashback too because he tells her that love shouldn't be punished
She goes ballistic

Isadora calls the henchies & interrupts their accosting Vero - she makes good use of the distraction and kicks one of them and escapes while they leave and go to their patrona

Nestor talks to the boys and tries to convince them that he can't arrest Isadora w/o proof
The caveman wants to go off and beat a confession out of her or some such locura but they stop him
Nestor tells them he's going to change tactics and trap her

M tells Caye about her talk w/Sole and Caye tells her about her talk w/Nestor and they talk about doing the right thing for a change
What Caye appreciates most about Nestor is his ability not to judge her and mentions the almost kiss - even though she smiles when she remembers it she's still hung up on Leo (though w/o him constantly poisoning her mind she seems to be thinking more clearly)

Vero has been gone a while and Sole asks Pablo where she went. Getting all he knows, she calls the boys to find out if Vero is with them - she's not but they will look for her.
Meanwhile Vero has found the cabin, but her cell phone doesn't work so she's on her own.

Isadora instructs the henchies to kill Art and bury him deep

The henchies head out to find little blonde riding hood - though one of them doesn't get the joke and the other guy tries to explain and then gives up

Vero goes into the cabin and finds Arturo who looks at her like she might be a hallucination.

Maybe she is. Maybe they both are. Maybe this whole show is a crazy fever dream we are all sharing.

Tierra

ok so that's Tues
enjoy

I'll see if I can make Weds happen too

I'm trying to figure out how to make them shorter
'cause not only is it a lot to read
its a lot to type too

suggestions?

Tierra de Reyes Weds 6/10
part 1

Vero hugs Art and they talk while she's running around looking for some tool to free him
He's trying to get her to run away when she finds something and starts working on the chains - the henchies come back and everybody yells

Isadora is remembering all her encounters w/Art as she's driving away - she looks like she's regretting her decision and she comes back just in time to catch the henchies beating Vero
She has a problem with that (probably something to do w/yesterday's flashback) and while she drives them outside screaming at them and beating them around the head Vero frees Art who again tries to get her to run away but she won't leave him.
Isadora comes back after dismissing the henchies w/extreme prejudice and Art uses his chains to choke her

Nestor and Cabrera work talk on a variety of subjects
They've got nothing on Leo because Pablo won't press charges
New trickier strategy in search for Arturo
Some chick was poisoned at El P and they've got to investigate
Also Cabrera has figured out Nestor's weakness for Caye and they chat about that

At El P
Matamoros tells Leo he doesn't know whats up with the poisoned chick
Leo says ominous stuff
They do guy talk about Caye

Pati doesn't want to wail the 2 months it might take Roger to kill Matamoros - they fight
Roger reminds her that if Matamoros finds out what they're up to they're both dead meat - literally

Art and Vero drag Isadora through the woods with them on their escape 'cause Art just has unlimited energy for that
When they get to where Vero left the car its gone but the henchies are there w/guns - escape foiled

Caye is worried and Leo guesses rightly what she's thinking about - Arturo/Isadora
She tells him about reporting Isadora to Nestor and he gets all jealous and scary about Nestor

The henchies are dunking Art in a barrel of water with a light at the bottom - Isadora trying to get her own back
Against the advice of her henchman, in classic evil overlord fashion, Isadora is going to wait till tomorrow to kill Art in some overly complicated way that will surely fail (not a spoiler - he's a main character and this is a tn)

At El P Matamoros worries about the chick who died and the inevitable police visit to Roger
- when Roger's back is turned one of the chicks who saw him and Pati arguing in the park spills the beans to Matamoros who immediately goes ballistic and attacks Roger, screaming 'I'll kill you'
Roger heads over to Pati's to chew her out about the consequences of her trip outside and ends up jumping on her (eww) She pushes him off and tries to talk her way out of sex/being assaulted, but he's not letting her off the hook

Sophia calls Vero's mom to try to find out if she's there and ends up giving M the impression that Vero is coming back to live w/her.
Because of this M goes to Rancho A to see her just as Sole and Flavio are worrying about where she is
M blames Vero' s disappearance on everybody else and yells a lot about how she knew this would happen to her hanging out with them and how *she's* Vero's *real* mom and Sole doesn't know how she feels and on and on.

Sam and Andrea do their thing and its cute but they are both worried about Art and Vero. Sam actually gets pretty close to the truth when he tells Andrea that having Vero around is like having Alma back and Andrea since she is a reasonable adult - at least compared to Irina - doesn't get jealous
Caye's voice is heard and they both jump and run around like chickens w/o heads trying to hide Sam (what was I saying about reasonable adults? nevermind)

Andrea and Caye discuss whether the disagreements between Leo and Andrea are her fault or his - no consensus is reached

Tierra

Weds
part 2
Valverde and Linda (the cousin, boy I am on a roll with the name remembering) worry about where Isadora is and what she's up to now, when Nestor and his band of merry cops show up to search the place
Valverde isn't pleased about the search, nor about Isadora being the main and only suspect in Art's disappearence - Nestor says they have evidence and a witness but his cops tell him they didn't find anything in the search so they leave (speculation- having bugged the place? 'cause otherwise the new plan looks just like the old plan)

Art is just about to tell Vero she's his sister when Isadora walks in and interrupts w/her plans for their death (I've never hated her more than right now)
Arturo begs her to let Vero go, but no.
She has the henchies pour gas around the place, but only in very well defined straight lines, and light it
Art continues to plead for Vero and Isadora flips out at him about how she was willing to give up everything for him - including daddy's business.
The henchies have to drag her out so that the place doesn't burn down around her w/her still berating him.

Art talks Vero thru tipping her chair over to breathe the clearer air near the floor but she still passes out
With a superhuman effort Art burns the ropes off (I couldn't figure out what was going on here I just thought he broke them so thanks for clearing that up SpanProf)
He's trying to revive Vero

Will he succeed? Will Isadora run back into the burning cabin of doom to berate Arturo some more? Will I ever be able to remember which one of the henchies is Nickelson and which is Malcovich?
Stay tuned

Tierra
deb - If I'm remembering correctly Arturo did not see Leo's face when he shot him - I think he still had the hood on back then - though I could be wrong - and Leo was planning on shooting him again when the henchies stopped him
lolz Alma has the hat - does that mean the hat went to heaven?

Tierra. Thanks, Sneaky! I think Malkovich is the one with bangs and Nicolson is the one with no hair. Re tonight's episode. Veronica works in a spa. Presumably she's had first aid training? She doesn't know that you don't try to drag a gravely injured person by his feet? Cpr, anyone? Checking for a pulse? Marking a trail and going for help? And here I thought Arturo was the least brainy of the Gallardos. :)

Tierra. And how hard would it be to call out the whole K-9 corps with clothing items--the shoe and scapular, for example--to trace Vero's and Arturo's trail? Maybe that's what will happen in the next episode.

CIELOS III

I been busy within the last couple of weeks but I am definitely still watching.

I'll try to do a quick overview of what has happened the last couple of weeks:

Tim is being pushed out of all Mexican operations by his boss, Jack Melendez, as he feels that he is no longer needed. This is crucial to Tim because he had plans of moving up in the chain of commands, but it will now be impossible to do so if he is being pushed out of all operations.

So Tim urges Aurelio to turn Chema in so that he can prove to Melendez that he is still a valuable asset. Tim threatens AC that if he doesn't turn in Chema, that he will lock him back up in jail.

Aurelio agrees to turn Chema in and works up a plan to meet Chema in person. After going back and forth with Chema and not being able to retrieve his grandson back, Aurelio realized that he cannot turn Chema in while he still has custody of Humbertito.

The ball is in Chema's court and they both know it. So Aurelio tells Tim that he will turn himself in, instead. Tim is not too fond of the idea because Aurelio's capture would not be as valuable as Chema's.

Aurelio then suggests to Tim that he can just take Melendez out so that he doesn't have anybody pressuring him anymore AND it will open up a position that Tim can take over. Tim finally agrees!

Tierra and Cielos

Great big thank yous to VRO and Sneaky TS for the recaps. I have been hoping for them.
I've been totally lost concerning the various alliances in Cielos and some of the details
in Tierra. I'm so happy that there seems to be some hope for Caye and Fernandez. I've
always thought that she was redeemable.

AnonGringa

Tierra:
From what I understand, a little fire that in the cabaña would not have necessitated lab tests to determine if there were human remains in there. It would have been obvious right away. The doubt was for drama. For the same reasons, I predict that it will be the Gallardo brothers and Del Junco sisters who will find Arturo and Veronica and not a police dog or a policeman.

Tierra. Well observed, Jean. I wonder if they'll have Isadora speaking English with a British accent. :)

AVENIDA BRASIL

My cable was doing weird things last night because of storms in the area. What exactly did Nina tell Jorgito about Carminha and the reason she's working at the Tifon household?
I saw him throwing her out.

~ Wee Rita

Cielos 3
Tks VRO

Funny, the baby was reaching out to Chema while Rutila was holding her. My thought is Mauricio is a father & the actress playing her is not a madre.

Tierra. Wow, Jean! You were so right!

Tierra:

-SpanProf

I've watched a LOT of novelas! ;-)

Avenida B
Wee Rita, if I recall correctly (always a big IF), Nina told Jorgito that Carmina was her stepmother, that it was Carmina who left Rita at the tiradero, and that Carmina stole her [Rita's] father's money that he had given to Rita. She also told Jorgito that Carmina probably married Tifón for his money and would probably wind up hurting Tifón. Jorgito found Nina's account unbelievable, and evidence that she was loca. She pleaded with him not to tell Carmina that she was Rita. He went to Carmina and, without telling her that Nina is Rita, asked her whether she was indeed Rita's madrastra and whether it was she who brought Rita to the tiradero. Carmina, of course, gave him a very different version. According to Carmina, Rita's father was a violent alcoholic who beat both Carmina and Rita, and it was he who brought Rita to the tiradero. I think Carmina also said that sometime after Genesio's death, she went to the tiradero to rescue Rita by adopting her, but when she saw Jorgito, she felt an instant bond with him and chose to adopt him rather than Rita. This, said Carmina, may explain why Rita hates her.

Jorgito then goes to Mama Lucinda to try to find out which version is true. Mama Lucinda is reluctant to tell him anything useful, como siempre. I think she tells him he will have to ask Nilo about who brought Rita to the tiradero, since Rita was at first part of Nilo's bunch. I can't offhand remember what else Mama Lucinda said, but something leads Jorgito to conclude that Carmina, not Nina, was telling him the truth. I wish I could remember what that was. Perhaps it will come to me, or perhaps somene else can fill in and/or correct what I've said here.

Avenida B
I still don't remember what Mama Lucinda said to Jorgito that made him decide that it was Carmina rather than Nina who was telling the truth. However, I do remember a couple of other things about last night's episode. There was a very moving discussion between Tifón and Jorgito. Jorgito wants to know how Tifón met Carmina. Tifón painfully tells him that he was the one who killed Genesio in a car accident. Genesio died in his arms, and his last words before he died were Carmina's name. Tifón assumes that Genesio was trying to ask him to look after Carmina, so he goes to the funeral and meets her there or at the burial. Jorgito asks whether he tried to help Genesio. Tifón says he called an ambulance, but no, he did not call the police. It was an accident, and involving the police would have ruined Tifón's career and would have done nothing to bring back Genesio. Jorgito tells Tifón that he hooked up with Carmina out of guilt. Tifón denies that, but I think Jorgito is right, though Carmina's looks and seeming warmth and goodness also contributed to her appeal to him.

I think it was after talking with Tifón that Jorgito went to see Mama Lucinda and she tells him he should really talk to Nilo. I bet he will, and if he does, Nilo will say "Oh, it was so long ago, I don't really remember much." Jorgito will persist, asking "Well, was it a man or a woman?" Nilo will admit that it was a man, without identifying who the man was (he would probably not want to identify Max, who is his son). So Jorgito will assume that Carmina was telling the truth, that it was Genesio who brought Rita to the tiradero. Oy oy oy!

@Juanita, you are right Mama Lu siad to ask Nilo but Mama Lu straight lied and confirm Carmina's story that it was Geneseo who brought Nina to the tiradeo and Carmina told the truth when she said that she came back to adopt Nina but she had already gone to Argentina. Jorgito went crazy saying Nina is a psychopath, obsessed, and a liar. Jorgito said his family is in danger from Nina and must do something quick. I was so mad at Mama Lu for throwing Nina under the bus.

SpanProf - thanks for the help on which henchie is which - though I don't promise to remember - especially if they get killed soon :)

Congrats Jean on your prediction - - how many is a lot of telenovelas?

right now I've got two fingers strapped to a splint so typing is tough -thought my hand was getting better, but its not healing and they can't figure out what's wrong - not complaining, just explaining why there may not be any more recaps or comments from me for a while but I'm enjoying reading all of your comments and observations - thanks guys

@sneaky feel better and don't worry about us. We want you well. I know you asked Jean but I have watched 50 novelas give or take in about 30 years. I can go 1 or 2 years without watching then binge watch for a while.
Romy

Tierra. You're welcome, Sneaky! And I second what Romy said about your health. Btw, maybe it was my imagination, but it seemed to me that Isadora's Spanish was a bit clipped at the airport. Perhaps to imitate British English? And what a cover story! Who is going to question a young recent widow? Especially one with her husband's cremated remains in hand (and I believe she said that she had all the permits to transport them). And the Mediterranean connection was a good idea too--makes it less likely that anyone would wonder why she could speak perfect, but non-ceceo, non-apico-alvioral Spanish--she speaks like a southern Spaniard, of course!

Avenida B
Romy, thanks very much for reminding me about what Mama L said that led Jorgito to decide that Carmina had been telling the truth. I can't imagine how I forgot that!

AVENIDA BRASIL

Mama Lucinda is really getting on my nerves. What on earth is she playing at..? At first it seemed like Nilo was an out-and-out baddie, and she was sweet. Now I'm not so sure.

I'm really enjoying the actor playing Tifon.
Max was an utter jerk to Ivana. What a loser that guy is. She's a bit annoying, with the baby voice and all, but seems like a sweet soul.
SuEllen gets around, doesn't she? Hope the Divino FC medico regularly screens the players for STDs.

~ Wee Rita

AVENIDA BRASIL

Yes I remember MamaL getting on my nerves too, ALOT! I also really like the guy playing Tifon as well. I've seen him in parts of O Clone, but I much prefer his character here.

I haven't been able to watch in a while but hopefully will this week.

SneakyTwoShoes: Hope that hand starts to get better!

Are we doing a telenovela count off? For some reason I always think that I haven't really watched that many until recently then I start doing the math & it's like "uhhhh....wait maybe not....." lol :)
