Amores con Trampa #89 Never mind an Eye for an Eye... a Lie for a Lie...will whoever is NOT LYING to anyone step forward??
Labels: Trampa
Sweet dreams all.
Diana
Estfi has been removed from my redeemable list for good. She was on it up until these last two episodes. Facu, you are dumber than dirt; but hey, we knew that.
Lola
A few thoughts:
I liked seeing more of what happened between Isabel and her sister re: Rocío. I also liked Isabel asking Rocío what she wanted to do with her life beyond marrying Beto. He was going to have a career. What about her and her dreams?
I sure would hope that Facundo by now (after how many years of marriage and a second honeymoon?) would trust María and not Estefany, a relative stranger, with the crappola she is telling him. Of course there will be now the photo to support her claims. But unfortunately, I don't think Facundo has turned the corner yet in his character development as shown with him lying to María about the move.
It was hard to believe that they made Facundo so naïve that he would think he could just wash his hands of the company and walk away.
It still annoyed me how now at the university Diego was holding Carmen back from getting in her tormentor's (Francis's) face. He is prolonging and enhancing Francis's harassment of Carmen and looks like he is protecting Francis. He needs to go bye bye. Carmen should handle her own business without interference.
Then of course we had the "truth will set us free" speech of Jacinto boy genius!
All in all a fun episode!

Now, I am always upset when I don't get to see episodes but I am thrilled beyond words to have missed Francis tormenting Carmen. Again. And Again.
Jarifa, I agree that Diego needs to let Carmen go after Francis. I hate to say it but I'm for anything that will stop her vindictiveness once and for all. There's nothing interesting about a character when all one can do is speculate what cruel trick is up her sleeve next. Ack.
I'm disheartened to learn that Estefi is stepping up her campaign of lies. The sooner she is exposed, the better. I gather Florencio has not fallen for her and won't be abducting and running off with her anytime soon??
I'm sorry I missed the animals and the scenes between Isa and her sister. I am going to try and watch over the weekend.
Marta, thank you for the splendid story.

Fac beamed like a proud papa when Carmen yelled at the house crashers to get out of her house - cute.
Writers, I need to see Estefany kicked out of the Carmona house too. She may still find redemption later, whatever -- but first I want her butt bounced out of there.
I did like that Fac blamed himself -- no one else -- for foolishly signing the documents and that he trusted Beto and then Carmen with the truth. In the office, he looked so sad at his desk. Poor thing feels like a failure.
After Estefany told Fac the lie, she moved in to give him a consoling hug, which he refused, telling her to stay right over there where she was. Back at home, he showered Maria with kisses. He doesn't believe Estefany now, and I'm hoping that preview is deceptive because the so-called incriminating photo doesn't show Maria and Florencio in a liplock. Come on, Fac. I'm rooting for you to get this right.
Isa all punked out with a shaved head was a hoot. Can't argue with her advice to Rocio.
That letter Isa's dying sister gave her - I'm thinking Isa has already read it. Is she suppose to give it to Rocio when she turns 21? If so, we've got to wait two years since Rocio is only 19.
I hope that they can turn the business around. Although I'm sure they'll be fine without it, I don't want the Carmonas to lose their money. But Fac, and everyone, she tell Maria the truth. Yes, she is extremely happy with the prospect of going to the country, but she's no delicate flower who can't handle the truth.
Has Isa really decided to turn over a new leaf? Her advice to Rocio was good, but she is hiding whatever she learned from her sister before she died, and whatever news that letter contains. Can't wait to find out what all the secrets are that her sister left behind.
I really want to know what her sister said in that letter...
Anon, I am just speculating on answers to your questions but I do think Carmen became intrigued with Diego. I still think she loves Feli but Diego is hawt let's face it and she seems really tempted.
I don't know if Susana liked Andres at first. She is such a loyal friend to Ale, she has always stepped aside. I think if Ale wasn't in the picture Susana would like him. He's a nice kid and frankly, there's a lot to like and nothing to dislike. The family is loaded with charm...
Diana
I still feel like Diego is the better guy for Carmen. I know I know, the heart wants what the heart wants and right now Carmen wants Feli. But Diego has shown an incredible amount of respect for her and her family in regards to wooing her and dating her. He's been up front with Fac and not wanted to hide anything. Feli and Beto concocted the idea of sneaking Carmen out for a date. Fac is kind of unreasonable though.
Diego also seems to be the only one trying to help with Francis. I think that it was smart to stop Carmen from beating up Francis. Francis would have just called the police. Diego just always seems to be there for Carmen and Feli doesn't.
It's genuine charm, too. Not the smarmy (yet funny) kind of charm that Santi has. Wait. Feli and Santi aren't related by blood.
But after reading your comments that Diego has indeed been upfront and seems to be omnipresent to protect her are very true. So, I'm with you. Diego is pulling ahead right now for me.
Feli is very likeable. And steady and dependable.
But excitement, attraction and good looks have their own merits, don't they?:)
Diana
Steady and dependable are good for truly long term relationship building. I don't think Carmen is looking for any sort of fling. Diego must get her motor running though since she said she would like him to be her first. I think given Carmen's age, looks and excitement do go a long way.
At my age steady, dependable and funny make me swoon.
PS: I found the "dark" and punk Isa very disturbing. I hope they don't show us that again.
Marta the title was SO perfect. I was just throwing up my hands by the end of this thing. I can't even keep up with the lies anymore.
Jarifa
Nuts that all the Carmona's, even Jacinto, know about Fac's business problems except his wife. Surely all can't keep this secret. Wondering who will be the first to crack, hopefully Fac.
Looking forward to tonight. I'm still into every storyline.
When it comes to Diego, I think I am channeling my 17 year old self. "He's really a good boy, but he's hiding his pain behind a mask of playboy." I'm a little ashamed of myself.
Neither Feli nor Diego have done anything horrifically bad, so I am so on the fence for both of them. I don't think they've done enough with Feli, though. I don't feel like I've seen him with Carmen enough to make an informed decision.
Isa is another character that I just don't get. I know we discussed at the beginning that she was supposed to be a protagonista...but I'm still not finding her likable.
I still want to see Fac and Florencio team up against Santi and Esteban.
I can't wait for tonight either, Niecie!
It may have already been asked, answered and discussed, but the actress playing Rocio's mother...wasn't she in Corazon Indomable? She played the cousin who ended up living in the shanty town?
Dona Felipa- I don't think anything serious will ever happen between Fac and Isa. First, he's a protagonist (and supposedly so is she, according to credits). Second, he's married, in the Church. A good guy, breaking his Catholic marital vows--- not going to happen on a Televisa comedy (family show). And if it did, they would jump through hoops to make things ok between Fac and Maria so that there wouldn't be a divorce.
Jarifa
And I wonder who will play Mrs Porfirio. I assume she will actually return.
I'm kinda tired of this one. The only thing I'm intersted in at the moment is Isa's secret and Frances' and Hilda's anvils.
There's only 15 episodes left in Mexico, which I guess just makes 35 for us? I hope things start picking up.
(And that Univision airs Lichita!)
Again, gracias!
Sometimes it helps to just look at at the animals.
I keep forgetting to mention that I notice that Maria's hair and makeup are still different, but she seems to have moved back to the dress and boots look. Or did I see wrong?
