Chrome feeds

As is pointed out in the sidebar, feeds do not work in Chrome.  As there are so many of us using Chrome, here are a couple of suggestions to get around that.

1. Bookmark this post to use it as a quick way to get to the latest recaps of the shows we are currently covering.  Click on any tag listed after "Labels:" to see the most recent recaps or discussion posts for that show.  This gives a limited number of results, so if you are not on Chrome, the sidebar is still the best way to access recaps for a specific show if you can't find it on the front page.

2. If you're comfortable installing extensions to Chrome, you can search the Chrome Web Store for an RSS feed reader that will "read" the feeds that are already present on the sidebar.  You're on your own with this option, since there are quite a few of them available and it really depends on what suits your needs.

In addition, if you scroll down the sidebar, all the way past all of our lovely recappers, you will see a list of months and years. If you know approximately when the episode you are looking for was broadcast in the US, click and scroll until you find it. Works just fine in Google chrome and whatever the heck browser this is on my kindle.

You can always just Google it, too. Works more often than not. :)

Thank you. I myself use a mobile RSS reader to catch all the posts. Also reccappers have access to all of the recaps in the Blogger module by simply searching the desired tag. It shows all recaps in the feed that were created with time/date stamps. It would be nice if the users had this feature as well to complement the search option.

Thank you Carolina, those are both good options as well! There's also a search on the sidebar that searches just the blog.

Count, yes, recappers have that option because they are authorized to make posts to the blog. That's something that can't be extended to the readers. I've looked through all the blog options, and there isn't anything that would provide the readers with something similar to what recappers see. The good news is, like you said, it's possible for people to install their own RSS readers to use the feeds that are already on the sidebar.
