Amores con Trampa #84 Facu gets deceived by Santee, Esteban and Beto so he misses the meeting with the investors. Florencio arrives at MC. Rocio and Beto strengthen their love in front of Hilda and Francis
The Carmona kids and Alejandra and Andres playing with the
water and the hose. (was kind of cute Jacinto suggested playing without water
(just hoses) to not waste water.
Isabel finds Jacinto building a fence or cage for animals…
she asks if he will thank her for telling him what was happening (Beto and
Rocio were getting married)… Facu not so
sure it was for the best… Isa asks if he ranted on Maria (put her in her place)… Facu insists he does not want trouble or wars
with anyone… Isa keeps getting close to Facu… he suggests she go back home… Isa
tells him he can count on her for anything (and of course puts her hand on his
face just as Maria comes out of the house and catches them)… Maria acts all
proper/indifferent (you can keep him, I will give him to you for free)… Facu surprised and does not appreciate being
gifted around as if he were a box of candy…
Maria insists Isa can keep him… they keep going back and forth and Facu’s
cap blows… Maria leaves offended, Isa
pulls Facu back and asks him ‘if I do accept that ‘present’ what would happen?’ Facu is totally taken aback she is even
considering that possibility and runs in the house after Maria… Isa starts
feeding the goats… lol
Rocio is confronting Hilda for Beto… Rocio more than irritated and pushes Hilda
back and Hilda falls on a guy who drops his food… Rocio apologizes to the guy…
Beto begs Rocio not to get into fights with Hilda anymore… Hilda suggests Beto will end up with her, who
has no doubts or complications… Rocio
only came to the school to see Beto to tell him she loves him with all her
heart. She saw everything, so she has no doubts about him… no one will separate
them. She wants everyone to hear that no
one will separate them. She has a heart necklace to give him which reflects her
heart that she gives to him. Love you .
Will love you always. (sealed with a
kiss)… Hilda suddenly feels very out of place or the odd man out. Frances and her shadowgirls are there to
witness the scene… Frances starts whinning that she does not know when the
exclusive college became a neighborhood taqueria. Carmen also comes in. Rocio
leaves and Beto goes on to class.
At office, Esteban wants Santee to sign some docs. Santee
says he won’t be fooled twice, he will read the documents very carefully before
signing. Esteban asks him not to get in
trouble by doubting Facu. Santee starts namecalling Facu (charro montaperros). And
undermines the business savvy of Facu’s.
Then he starts talking about women when he looks at the Isa photo
frame. Then talks about Estefani and her
flirting… and then Mireya with her ‘confusions’… but all that is over… Now all
his efforts are aimed at the ranchero (Facu). And to recover what was his. He expects Esteban to help him. Esteban not
so sure.
At the store, Estefani comes to visit Rocio and offer her
help. Rocio is very sharp/cutting with her ‘thanks but no thanks’. Estefani claims she is Maria’s bff, her
sister, and wants to help. She insists
and Rocio gives in a bit. She lets her work with the recently arrived new
designs. Isabel and some new guy come
in, Rocio confused as to what they are there for… Isa starts pointing to
furniture that ‘was robbed from her’.
She claims she needs them back at her house. The guy says ‘of course’.
Mireya comes to visit Santee, and starts shoving stuff out
of his desk. Seems she brought chefs and waiter and the whole nine yards…seems
this guy is about to do a fondue right on Santee’s desk. Santee not so in on the plan. Mireya claims she is no Isa and Santee won’t
be able to play games with her. She even
gets physically painful for him slamming his neck against the wall.
Back at the store, Isa demands justice and insists that they
are her furniture pieces. Estefani takes
photos. Isa insists that some of the
furniture has been the property of the ‘fuchingi’ family for years. Rocio points to the vanity with mirror and
she insists that she and Beto bought it on the internet. Rocio shows the guy the receipt for their
purchase. Isa gets offended that they
paid so little for it. Estefi realizes that the receipt could pull her cover
(wasn’t she the one that sold it on the internet?) Estefani asks to see the receipt paper. She
tells the guy that she knows these folks and that she can take them to
him.
Facu comes to the office and notices something wrong. It
turns out there is a lot of smoke there, he starts yelling that his company is
burning. (I think there is more chaos
about his screaming than about the smoke).
Santee says the chef looks like a dangerous Chinese guy. Mireya keeps taunting at Santee’s neck.
Suddenly Facu comes in and yells at Santee about making a barbecue inside the
company building.
Florencio and Panzon arrive at a hotel in the city…
Florencio suddenly is surprised and not in a good way, that Panzon is there in
his apartment with him. They are eating
right out of skillets (LOL!) some refried beans with tortillas.
Back at the office the receptionist asks when is eating
time. Facu yells at her to go call the firefighters!. Suddenly Facu starts serving himself from
whatever the guy was cooking. He then
sits down but does not stop telling Santee that he can’t believe Santee almost
burned the business down just a few days after he came back to work. And he converted the business main office
into a commercial kitchen. Then Facu
starts telling Mireya that this must have some diagnosis, the fact that Santee
wants to set on fire the business facility.
Mireya claims she only came to bring some food to the man she
loves.
At Carmona kitchen, Maria is getting debriefed by Estefani
and Maria is outraged that Isa is trying to take the furniture. Maria thanks Estefani for having been there
when Isa and the guy showed up to Rocio.
Estefani takes credit for having removed one problem from Maria. She won’t let Isa get away with anything, let
alone taking Maria’s husband away.
Perpetua comes in to complete her sentence ‘of course you don’t want to
let Isa take him, since YOU want him for yourself!’ Maria questions Perpetua’s words, Perpetua is
ready to repeat it on a witness stand.
At the office, the firefighter girls come in and Facu starts
yelling ‘Fire!!” Santee is suddenly
entertained. Facu wants to ask him a
question. How do you do it to mess up with so many crazy ‘viejas’ at the same
time? Santee pucks up his lips and mustache a la Charlie Chaplin.
Facu returns to his office repeating ‘what outrage!’ Santee follows him and tries to explain what
just happened… Facu won’t hear any… next time you want to go eat Chinese or Japanese,
go outside. Santee wants Facu to calm
down so they can talk as friends again. They have a very important meeting
today! Facu has not forgot the
meeting. He does not need anyone to
remind him of anything. HE worked very hard to get where he is, not like you ‘nino
bonito’ (cute young thing) . Santee
leaves but no before he repeats he considers himself Facu’s friend and will be
there for him.
Perpetua and Maria in Maria’s room. Perpetua apologizes for the things she has
yelled at her. Maria says it is not your
fault, all my problems have one name, Facundo Carmona. Perpetua is reminiscing the older times when
Maria and Facu loved each other so much and when Facu stole her from Florencio
right at the altar. Perpetua will
respect any decision Maria takes. Maria
still has doubts of that. Perpetua says it’s
the call of the blood to want the best for your loved ones. Maria will go eat outside, does not want to
see Facundo even at the dinner table.
At the office, Santee is taking a coffee from the
receptionist before the meeting. Beto
and Feli come in. They tell Santee that
Facu has been a bit edgy since the ‘almost’ marriage. Santee asks Beto how he feels. Feli wants to bring the talk back to
business, what will we do with the foreigner investors meeting? Santee worried that Facu is not in the right
state of mind. Beto questions if Santee
intends to leave Facu out of the meeting. Santee assures him he is always looking
out for Facu’s wellbeing.
The kids are all at an outdoor party… Alejandra, Gusana and
Andres wonder what is the theme of the party. Even the twin redhead boys are
there. Jacinto comes in and keeps them
in the blind as to who the party is for.
At the office, Santee tells Esteban that he plans to meet
with the investors without the presence of Facu or Beto or Feli. Esteban does not think this is a good idea. Santee
says Beto himself will tell Facu that the meeting was cancelled. Santee says we NEED to keep this meeting a
secret. The way that Facu is behaving
lately, he won’t do us any favors.
Esteban tells Santee he knows him, Santee can’t trick him.
Santee won’t stop until the ‘ranchero’ ends up in the street
pennyless… He will regret having ever met Santee. He will loose everything… Even his wife… Esteban
has a double take there and questions Santee why he said Facu will even loose Dona
Maria.
The party is still going on… turns out Jacinto wanted to
celebrate the birthday of Tito the donkey baby.
Jacinto even gives Tito the cake to give it a bite… The kids start singing now ‘we no longer want
cake!, not anymore!’
Back at the office, Santee is still trying to convince
Esteban to follow his lead and then eventually Esteban will again be his second
in command. Santee even gets Esteban to
march out of the office and into the conference room.
Beto comes in Facu’s office and is indecisive as to follow
Santee’s and Esteban’s lead to lie to his dad so that Facu won’t be at the
meeting and spoil it with his current emotional status. We see Beto’s memory of the time when Santee
and Esteban cornered him… ‘just as your dad one day saved the company, now it
is your turn to be the hero to save the interests and ideals of your dad or
watch it sink… Facu claps his hands and brings Beto to present time. Beto goes
on and tells Facu that the meeting got cancelled. He says the investors called a while ago and
asked that the meeting be postponed.
Facu says maybe that’s for the better since lately my head has not been
all there. Beto says he does not want
Facu’s head to keep hurting him. Facu
suddenly remembers his father role and tells Beto that he should not be taking
every thing Facu says so literally and soon things will be alright again.
Beto leaves and Facu remembers the Isa/Maria argument
outside the house.
Rocio and Maria are talking. Rocio tells Maria to be careful
with Isa. Maria says she has had enough.
Let it be God’s will. Rocio asks ‘even
if that means you lose your husband and your family?’ Maria sadly says yup. Rocio does not want her to talk that
way. Maria changes the subject to
Rocio/Beto/Hilda. Maria says Beto is
like his dad. He might be resentful for the moment, but it will pass. He loves
her very much.
Feli, Santee and Esteban bring good news to Beto… the
investors are impressed and are willing to associate with us!! Facu comes out and can tell that Esteban,
Santee and Feli just came back from the meeting. Santee is very disappointed in
Beto… can’t believe Beto betrayed him. HE can expect it from those other guys
but not from Beto. Have you forgot I am
your dad? Is that it?? (Beto a bit hurt
and regretful).
At the school, there
is another casting announcement in the bulletin board. Francis comes and asks Carmen if she will also
go to this casting. Francis brags on
her experience in catwalks… Carmen says she has the experience of the pizza ads… Francis again undermines her. Seems we will again be competing with each
other in the casting. Carmen leaves. The shadowgirls ask Francis what she is up
to. Francis had removed part of the ad flyer that specifies it is a casting for
a ‘tiny swim suit collection’. Casting
for that will cause trouble for Carmen with her family. Besides, her body does
not compare with mine (Fran).
At the store, Maria tells Rocio she does not when Facundo
lost himself. He is not the same man she married. Rocio mentions that Facu took her from
Florencio at the altar. Rocio asks
Maria if she ever regreted having left with Facu and leaving Florencio
behind.
The door bell rings. It is a guy with a huge bunch of red
roses… Maria calls him Facundo, but then he shows his face and says he has come
to get her back.
Previews: Maria tells
Florencio that Facundo is her life, along with her kids. Meanwhile, Facu is feeling
anxiety, like something is not right.
The enemies of Casa Carmona (Isa and Florencio) are getting
together. Florencio clarifies to Isa he
is only here to recover his Maria.

Marta, you did this so quickly and did a fantastic job. This was so well detailed and very well written.
“Facu surprised and does not appreciate being gifted around as if he were a box of candy” made me smile. Although candy is delicious, with his unappealing anger and unreasonableness, Facundo doesn’t deserve to be compared with such delicacies Honestly? I didn’t feel the slightest bit badly for him missing the meeting. I do feel sorry for Beto as he will be riddled with guilt for lying to his father.
I have to admit I rather enjoyed seeing “Super Santi” (thanks Jarifa) virtually twirl his mustache with delight in his deceit! Things are so much brighter when Santi is chewing up the scenery and stealing every scene he is in.
“Perpetua will respect any decision Maria takes”. I will believe that when I see Margarito flying of his own volition.
That darling burro Tito wanted no part of that cake. Nor any part of the entire scene it appeared. He is so sweet – more of him please.
When Santi said Facundo would lose his wife as well, I have a feeling Santi wants her for himself. I’m not sure he’s even totally aware of it himself, but Facundo has much bigger problems than Florencio brewing! Excellent!

As much as I’d like to see Facundo squirming, I don’t want Santi going after Maria. Santi, sorry but you are a bit of a male whore. Isa as a wife is a pain, but you have bedded Estefany and Mireya and would’ve done the fake maid too if she had played up to you enough.

Marta- Thank you for capturing the humor of this episode so perfectly. The last few epis have been intense, so it was nice to get some levity. Santi is so be, but he's so fun to watch.

I the goats' defense- I seem to recall that at that first carne asada that they gave Isa a drink. I swear I remember someone saying it was the blood of the goat they roasted.

Wonderful recap!
I was surprised Beto went along with Santi and Esteban but then I remembered that Esteban helped Beto with the wedding and Santi agreed to it and supported both he and Rocio. So as of late those two have been more supportive of Beto and that must have caused him to believe them.

Hey guys, they are showing a new movie called 'Ana Maria in Novela Land' on Oxygen channel. It has Juan Pablo Gamboa, the late Elizabeth Pena and a couple other familiar faces. THe leads are not as familiar to us but the guy is really cute... it is done in L.A. but about a latino family and the young lady (who is about 22-25) just lost her job and her parents are chit-chatting about her future (sound familiar with the Carmonas and Beto?) and she ends up daydreaming she becomes the lead character in the novela.. interesting. will post again when its over to tell how it went. it just began 18 min ago and i just caught it about 5 min ago. I am intrigued enough to watch the whole thing through.

Yeah, The picture of Facundo exploding because of all the stress from Florencio and Santee... I bet Santee can take on Facundo and Florencio at the same time!
and one more familiar name... Lupita Ferrer (the original Esmeralda from Venezuela '70), she also did many televisa novelas in the 90s and 2000s.

Some time ago, Vivi had provided links showing Aldonza/Michelle and Sev/Alexis having a blast off camera. It made me happy that the cast like each other and are enjoying themselves and each other despite the gloomy material.

Yeah, I noticed the little goat being trapped under the fallen fence. It didn't seem to affect him too much, just gave him a bit of a scare. But then he seemed to have a bit of a squabble with one of the bigger goats who wouldn't let him join the group. That big goat was acting like Francis.
Lol! Francis is a goat. Oh, that's not what you were saying was it?
I may have to revise my opinion after the Fin, but so far Ernesto really has been the best part of the show. I just love him. Even his lapel flowers make me giggle. I wonder who's idea that was. I love those kinds of little details.

Sara, i noticed the little flowers on Ernesto's lapel and also think they are adorable. Very unique and fun.
OT:I just saw another movie, liked it even better than the novela one.
It is with James Denton (Desperate wives) and Vanessa Marcil. ITs called stranded in paradise and its about a woman who loses her job (sound familiar? LOL!) and ends up in Puerto Rico right before a hurricane hits... and James Denton seems to be the guy she finds at every corner... the scenery is Puerto Rico. Another great bonus i found is that Gladys Rodriguez (a seasoned actress in Puerto Rico from both novelas and comedy) has a considerable role there and she looks GREAT... even talks english with very little accent (not sure if she has been up here in the states lately)... very sweet, predictable movie,... but the views of the coastlines and cultural dances are great... i recorded it and will rewatch probably often.

I find the flowers so funny because they never seem to go with the tie or handkerchief. They don't clash, but they call attention to themselves.

Most times the flowers match the small dots or stripes in his tie, or the handkerchief in his breast pocket. I love them and think it's a perfect look for Santi, el nino bonito, as Fac called him.

That has been the funniest thing to me. Santi is just doing the jerkiest things and I can't stop giggling along with him!
Sara: Stranded in Paradise is the name of the Vanessa Marcil/James Denton movie. It's a Hallmark Channel movie. I've seen it, too. Very cute.

Does anyone know when this one is ending? I'm going on vacation 9/11-9/18. I'd hate it if the gran final was during that time.

Thanks, Sara, but major bummer. I'll be on vacay that whole week so won't be able to participate--unless I decide to read recaps/comments before seeing the eps--which I don't like to do the last couple of weeks of a TN. :(
