Que Te Perdone Dios Capitulo 119- Discussion

[Countx -Not to worry.  I'm posting below what ViviDC and Anon. 207 put in their highlights.  Thanks to all of you. --Jardinera654]

Sorry but today apparently there wont be any recap because the episode is not up yet on my sources ( Although it should be because it always comes up on mornings grrr, I want to dismantle someone's brakes or whip someone up brutally just like Fausto!) . Univision has it but I am geolocked so I don't have access to it. If anyone is able to remember what happened please post it in the comment section below. If the episode gets posted or I get some good VPN then I might be able to do the recap.

I did watch a scene in which Diana gets her eyeballs cut off ( By Fausto The Vicious Heartbreaker) though. She later kills herself by jumping across a cliff but not before handing the baby to Boring Benito ( She must have kidnapped the child or something). Also I have to say that I have been disgusted by that one scene alone, Fausto is a true stinking MONSTER.  Pedro Medina compared to Satan Lopez Guerra is a whiny, pompous  wimp ( I am sure though that Angeli Nesma Medina will surprise us with a  butcher that is 100x worse . Perhaps she will remake Mariana De La Noche but I wonder which actor is fit to be the next butcher)

- Everyone frets about Renata at the hospital. Mat arrives and joins Pat in surgery. Abi gives Mat the amulet Mel once made for Ren and Pablo and later gave to Abi. He puts it in Ren's hand. Much later Pat and Mat emerge and tell everyone Ren survived but is in a coma. Both Abi and Connie break down.
- While at the hospital: Barragan admits to Abi that he's her grandpa. They hug and cry. Abi admits to Diego that Fausto is Mat's dad. Connie spills to Abi some of the truth of how Bruno stole Abi from Ren, enlisted Mac, and strong-armed Ren into accepting the godmother role. She does this because Fausto arrives (and somehow doesn't get punched or arrested for having recently tried to rape Abi), and starts to badmouth Ren. Otherwise, everyone keeps telling Abi to wait until Ren is awake and can tell her the whole story. Frustrating!
- The police take their sweet time going after Diana. By the time they do, she's enlisted Mac to help her steal her baby and hide them in Pablo's shack. Fausto later arrives, and Diana whines about having just met yet another of his lovers, Ximena. Fausto sets her straight. He never loved her or any other woman. The only woman he's ever loved is Renata, and his fascination with Abi is simply because she's Ren's daughter. Diana hurt the woman he loves and now she must pay. He starts to strangle her. The baby cries. She asks for mercy for her son's sake. He grants it. He doesn't kill her, but instead gouged out her eyes with his knife.
- Benito decides to grow a pair, and strong arms Mac into taking him to Diana, since everyone knows she helped her take the baby. They find Diana bloody, blinded, and blindfolded, carrying the baby and wandering around searching for help. Unfortunately, she's wandered to the edge of the cliff. Benito warns her, she hands him the baby, warns horrified Mac that this is the fate that awaits her with Fausto, and lets herself fallback and off the cliff.
- Meanwhile, Mat and Diego are also out searching and Mat tells him how he learned Fausto was his dad, when about to kill him after he tried to rape Abi. Now it's Diego who looks murderous.
- Barragan and the police arrive at the Montero house looking for Diana. Instead they find drunk Antonio who admits to killing Lucio.

Countx, sorry about your issues with finding the epi. Not sure how graphic the scene with the eyes that you saw was, but here we just saw the aftermath, and Mac was not part of it. Actually, not a lot happened.

- Everyone frets about Renata at the hospital. Mat arrives and joins Pat in surgery. Abi gives Mat the amulet Mel once made for Ren and Pablo and later gave to Abi. He puts it in Ren's hand. Oh, and Diana tells Fausto that she's pretty damn sure that Ren can see. He's impressed by Ren being so wily.

Thanks for the highlights Vivi! I tried using the VPN and found out that the episode was not really on Univision . The episode seemed really brutal in my opinion based on your description. Although I am quite glad that Tono and Barry admitted their fair share. I hope that nothing bad happens to Diego. And there I thought that LQVR was a brutal novela!

Basically this is what I remember happening (in no particular order)

Tono getting drunk & crunk at the bar; bartender tells him to leave or he'll sic the Padre on him again

Fausto mad at Diana for shooting Renata; explains he really does love Renata; goes to the hospital to investigate

Fausto tells Mateo about Diana shooting Renata

I didn't think he'd take her eyes. He told Macaria that he would cut out her eyes. I thought he'd disfigure Diana. Barragan always walks like his feet hurt. How's he supposed to catch these villains? Cynderella

Well, after that end for DeeDee, all I can say is talk about your blind ambition.....

Ok....Just wanted to say thankx a mil to Countx Alacran for his dedication in weekly attempting to keep this show on the road through thick and thin. You have a nifty sense of dark humor which always gives me a wry chuckle or two. Glad to see you'll be carrying on in the next telenovela!

I have also posted Vivi's highlights as Wed's recap of last week. Thanks!

BIG thank you's to Vivi and Anon207---WOW!!! Devil Dog couldn't get any worse. He was angry at Dianaconda but OMG!!! a knife into both eyes??? Old Fausto is more cruel and disgusting than I had believed. I mean, I know that he was bad, thus the name Devil Dog Fausto but I have to admit that I wasn't prepared for what he did. When I saw the knife I was thinking a stab wound and a somewhat quick death or at the least, a non fatal stab wound or two and then a call to the police and have her dragged off to the slammer. But instead she got a barbaric eye operation cutting out her eyes!!! I'm still kinda sick thinking about it.

The only consolation I guess is knowing that his, Fausto's time is coming.

Will Renata come out of her coma tonight?

Gringo - Well to me Fausto was always a monster, he began destroying lives from beginning of his inception. I suppose he was too spoiled and unsatisfied with his life thus he sold his soul to Hell just like that Faust in Porf's book. Even before marrying Ren, he was too busy destroying Lucio's, Elena's and Mat's lives. Also the workers under him must have suffered heavy losses and most of them might have been fired unable to take care of their families. He betrayed Lucio by exchanging his to be wife to Max's more richer stepfather thus making him step to the Dark Side once again. His cruelty did not falter when he married Ren.

Anything he speaks is blasphemy but all that he touches shall turn to ash . Fausto "The Devil Dog " destroyed countless lives but the relief is that his Karma will be coming soon and I hope that it will be extremely painful. I also demand that we see 3D images of Hell itself just to see Faust getting thrown into it as the dam bursts into a fierce explosion. Though I want him to be crucified upside down as he gets tortured in all kinds of ways while getting damnations from the souls that he killed. Then he burns into a hellish inferno and becomes ash itself.

Count---3D images of Hell itself and getting damnations from the souls that he killed. He then burns up and becomes ash. I'd go for that.

I was horrified by what happened to Diana! I also thought it didn't fit with Fausto's previous character, and too much of an anvil for Diana, too. Doing that is a crime of passion, and Fausto's whole deal is that he isn't passionate about women, just use them and move on. So where did he get the impetus for such and up close and personal gouging? And like I said, for what Diana has done throughout the novela, that seemed like a really heavy anvil. It was scary to see her bloodied bandage!

Having said that, at least an anvil fell, though. Hoping we get at least one a night.

I too couldn't believe how Fausto is walking around free in front of Abi. So bizarre not to report him to the cops.

Thanks to all contributors for the recap, and for the comments.

Thank you all for the recap points. Good coverage.

Fausto seems to have lost his mind. For the longest time (except for Pablo) he kept his hands clean by having Lucio do his dirty work. Now, even though he has a junior replacement (who, unbeknownst to him, is going around town, just drinkin' and
confessin') he has begun to unravel and has started to handle things himself, but this is what will lead to his downfall. It's impossible, even for a telenovela, for him to cover up his tracks as well as he has up to this point. Barragan has you in his sight, Fausto. Cuidado!

Let's hope that now that Tony is in a confessing mood, he'll immediately tell the Padre that he did not have sex with that woman, Ximena, but was instead drugged and set up.

If I am not mistaken this is the first time for an Altair Jarabo character to die in a very tragic way! The characters she played in her previous novelas always had a happy ending because she ended up being good and became BFFs of the lead female character. Except for Mi Pecado because she ended up alone and having a disfigured face. The way her character died in this novela is quite disturbing. I did not see that coming. Diana could be very annoying most of the time but I she did not deserve to die in such manner. And what breaks my heart during the scene was knowing that she had maternal instincts after all. She tried her best to protect her son.

Aisha- Yep. Altair's bad girls are usually redeemed at the end. And I always thought her Mi Pecado role had such a bad end because she wasn't originally supposed to play the role. Another actress started then had to drop out, and Altair joined the cast.

Thanks Vivi and Anon 207 for stepping in with the recap. And Count, although the timing on this TN made it difficult to comment, thanks for putting in such hard work on your recaps despite your busy schedule. :-)

Like many of you I did not expect this end for Diana. I was actually wondering how hard was it for Benito to grab her, and put her out of harms way! Maybe she would have served some time and then learned to live with her disability at Ren's school for the blind. This was just too savage for the wrongs she did. If this is what she got, I really hope that Fausto ends up much worse. And I hope this scares the heck out of Macaria because she is probably next.

I was also hoping that after finding out Barry was her gramps Abbi would tell him about the attempted rape so he could go after Fausto.

Thank you for these recaps. I consider myself a pretty tough, OEF veteran, military police officer, but Diana's demise was soooo morose! I'm still petrified, 24 hours later! Fausto's anvil HAS to be big... omg... #SeñalDeLaCruz

Billy

Billy, I removed your previous comment for containing spoilers. We are strictly a no spoiler zone. As for the remake It was merely a joke. I would want ot done under someone more competent writers. The actor list that you put up is nice but I havent seen the novela so I couldnt judge. I wouldnt like Angelique as the main star again , I would prefer to see someone else because I am sure there are plenty of hotties out there left ( It's not that I dont like the actres herself but it's someone else's turn to shine) . I would like Dominika Paleta as the main star for example LOL. . I doubt the synergy with Mr Bean Roberto though.

The problem that I have with Angelis novelas is the excessive, pointless violence. The performances of the actors and the shooting are ussually nice but in the end its the crappy violence and writing that ends the charm. Not to mention that every villian Angeli's has made so far have been extremely machistic. Every finale week of her's ends up in bloodbath and tears.

Oh sorry I didn't ment to spoil! I was making a guess! Yes Angelli's villains use to have tragic ends and maybe Televisa should let her produce only for the horario estelar(Soraya de MLDB, Miranda de PTA, Karina de NAM, Alvaro de APUA, Fedra and Lorenzo de LDA, Carmina de ADP, Maria de LQLVMR, Diana de QTPD). I find Angeli Nesma an amazing productora, she produces interesting stories and she choose great actors. I would prefer her not to produce so large novellas and make shorter stories of her own. Enough with the remakes.

My favorite novella was El color de la pasion, a brand new story (though it had tintes of Canaveral de Pasion, La Mentira and Capricho). It only had 120 capitulos and kept the interest of the audience.

Billy

Yeah Billy, the great actors are a nice catch but not even then could the novela entrap me. Her novelas get so action packed towards the end that characters lose character. Sergio Sendel in Robo only impressed with violence and a cloud stark hatred but in Lo Imperdonable the writing helps a lot making his role more established. I like unpredictable novelas until everything ends with death death death kidnapp slap slap. For example I like GOT because of the writing even though it's a very violent show ( Although the books are meant to be better)

Billy, It semms that you got your wish. It's rumoured that Sebastian &Angelique will protangoize Angeli's next novela. Alejandro Avila is supposed to star as the villian. The name of the production is unknown.

Yes I read it, probably its about Lazos de Amor and Yesenia. I would never imagine Avila as Lucio. I like him as a villain. Also in this production will participate Maria Sorte. The grabaciones start November but I dont know which horario will be set. There are many productions prepared for this year. (A que no me dejas after QTPD, Antes Muerta Que Lichita after ACT, Simplemente Maria after ADB, Pasion Y Poder after LI, La Hija Del Jardinero after LV)

Billy

Yeah Billy, the teams will be so cramped that most likely only three novelas could make it through( I sometimes wish we had more willing recappers) . After finishing Yo No Creo, i might take on Pasion Y Poder. The Lazos de Amor do pick up my interest though but I doubt I would be doing it. I am sort of getting tired of Maria Sorte , she will most likely play a nagging bother with low IQ. I hope she plays a smarter role.

Ale Avila has actually done villian roles before , he is very diverse and can pick into almost any character. ( His role as Victor "Goody Two Shoes" in Robo was slowly getting on my nerves though)

CountxAlacran YNCELH is very good story, I have watched it last September from Canal del las Estrellas. Also try El color de la pasion, it really worths and with great actors (Esmeralda Pimentel finally as protagonist and la guapa Claudia Ramirez as the gran villana did a magnificent work). This story had so many twists that it kept every capitulo until the end. I ve read that Univision will showed as well as Lo imperdonable, Antes muerta que lichita and A que no me dejas corazon. Personally I am tired of remakes! I mean how difficult can it be to invent a new story? When it comes to a remake the comparisation is unavoidable especially when its about a very sucessfull and favorite novela. I am only in favor of a remake when its about a story that is very old (about 30 years ago) and had not so much appealing. For example I knew that Lo imperdonable would be fracaso not because of Mejia but because this story has so many other remakes. The most recent Cuando Me Enamoro (2011) and also ECDLP (2014) had tintes of La Mentira.

Billy

Yeah Billy, I sometimes get tired of remakes too. I want some new kinds of stories, What bothers me is that sometimes they butcher the otherwise great old novelas up . Sometimes it's better to leave them alone because they are mil veces better than the "remake" . Some of these include Mariana De La Noche, La Pasion, Mi Pecado, Cuna De Lobos and others. I shudder at the Pasion Y Poder because i dont think they could surpass Cesar Evora's grand performance. Personally to me the remakes seem like an actors contest than anything else ( Who gets the better performance thus better medals and more money) . La Sombra was a good remake but I cannot say much for anything else, maybe Soy Tu Duena and CME. Amor Bravio , La Malquerida and El Color were very good original stories from the observations I got from the viewers.

Mariana de La Noche is the typical novela that the villains steal the show from the protagonists (Angelica Rivera and Cesar Evora excelent actors). Right now except QTPD I watch LI and ADB and I m looking forward for A Que No Me Dejas and Pasion y Poder.
