Que Te Perdone Dios Capitulo 120- Twin Fiasco all the way

( Some scenes were merged out of context )

This is my final recap for this show. It's been a blast learning how to do recapping and will now pass my skills on recapping YNCH. Make sure to catch me up sometimes !

  • Previously:  Despite poor Ben growing a pair of balls , Diana didnt like the smell so she jumped off a cliff barefolded much to Mac's and Ben's shock. Too bad, no early retirement for Dianaconda! Before jumping Di acts all maternal suddenly and hands over the baby.

  • Present: Ben and Mac try to escape from the crime scene but unfortunately come into The Devil's cross hairs. Faust asks them what happened and dumb Mac explains it all with lies of course .  Mac claims that she took the baby because Di threatened them and all was done for free  but Faust doesn't believe it cause there isn't a thing Mac would do for free.

  •  More charm talk to comatose  Ren from Pat. Abi comes in and Pat points out that he loves Ren but nothing is greater than Ren's love for Abi. They hug.

  • Mat &Co fringe about the baby and The Devil answers their prayers by bringing the baby back ( He isn't THAT bad right? I mean he is still God's favorite considering that the POS is still enjoying freedom. We got his immunity to thank for that.) . Faust informs them that Julio/Julian has now been detained and that Diana is now  bratwurst. ( Is Eyeball soup on today's lunch menu?). Faust plays false suspense on Mano Negra being the oh so mysterious killer. In the office Faust points out to Mat that he was also in part responsible for the situation.  He is now officially back to the house to torment us all and all will do as he says. I suppose this will make room  for rather interesting dinner conversations.

  • Ben is trying to convince Mac that Faust is just using her and that her death is near. But Mac wont give up on loving Faust cause she loves him beyond everything.

  • Mat and Abi discuss about Gerardo and they after a little convincing swear to tell Ger.Jr the whole truth when he is older .  Then Mat tells Abi about Diego's true origins but Diego overhears.  After hearing the truth Diego gets into an murderous rage as he becomes desperate to kill his own father. Mat comes along with him in order to protect him.  Later they arrive on the hacienda as Diego screams like a chimpanzee for Devil Dad cause he is there to get him.  Diego blames Faust for his shit life and get's informed that Faust knew it all along  .  Diego shows Mat his battle marks that he received during his glorious whipping.  Mat points out that growing without the Devil's influence was what made him a good man in the first place.

  •  Barry comes to arrest Tony for the crime that he committed yesterday but after he heard Tony's vengeful reasons he resists to do it and instead giving him a second chance because he reminds him of his own rage  against the same person.  Tony hugs him in gratitude.  Barry later tells Simona all of it and he receives a hug in thanks too. Sim promises to fix her son.

  • Devil Dad knocks on Tom's door and gives him evidence of Tom's not so  sinful affair with the Lighting Bolt Witch ( They actually look rather cute together) in exchange for putting the annihilation of his marriage on hold.   That doesn't seem to deter Tom though. Faust proceeds to scare him by telling of his good deeds like trying to rape Abi , carving Diana's eyes and of his two sons.  Devil Dad tells that Ren is now in coma and that she was the only love in his life. He will remain married to her till one of them goes to a trip to the Infierno. His non-existent heart got broken a long time ago with Ren's countless betrayals. Faust threatens Tom to not tickle the Devil cause he might get next on the list.

  • Speaking of Ximena , she decides to go rant against her twin Daniela for sucking her fortunes dry. Daniela calls for Max to toss the (fake) Daniela out and he does.  They later hug in glory ( I wouldn't be surprised if they become lovers in the next two years) . Daniela warns him that messing with Xi is dangerous cause she may turn to Faust . Meanwhile hilarious Ximena tries to call her lawyer but he rejects her thinking that she is an impostor and drops the call. Xi almost breaks the whole telephone line with her bag ! Of course Xi does go complaining to Faust and Faust is supposed to drown Dan &Max the drain in exchange for her help.  Faust although surprised about the Twinhood   offers her to live in his house and she accepts .  Tony comes in as Xi leaves. Tony wants to retire but Faust ain't having it because he is his slave for life!  The Dark Lord  tricks Tony into believing  that Max knows about his secret and therefore needs to be shut down for good. And NO don't invite him to  coffee, put a bullet to his head!

  • Back in the house Faust instructs Mac to prepare a new room for the indefinite stay of his new Harpy  . Mac obliges and takes her to the room but not before telling The Devil that Mat & Diego want to talk with him but one came ready to  exorcise Devil Dad in vain.  The Devil loads his Barreta , perfectly ready to dissipate one of his own.

Thanks Countx, for this recap, and all the others you provided on this tn. Even if there weren’t a ton of comments, know that there are always many more people reading who don’t comment, and people who will read the recaps in the future when the tn is aired or re-aired in their countries. Great debut as a recapper!

I continue to be amazed that Fausto is walking around free. When he staked his claim on the mansion, since Ren is in a coma, I thought to myself, “See! This is what happens when you don’t call the police on a criminal you’ve caught red-handed—in the middle of a rape and assault.” He would have been in jail right now instead of acting like Lord of the Manor. And when Mateo went back to the hospital, why was the second thing he needed to tell Abi (after the baby rescue/dead Diana news) that Diego is Fausto’s son? Shouldn’t he have told her that her RAPIST is living in her house?! She’s going to go home from the hospital and find Fausto lounging on her bed. Good grief!

Smart of Fausto to blame Diana’s eye gouging on her “accomplice” Mano Negra. And when they look at the money trail, they will find that the money Mano Negra stole from Julio (which he stole from the sisters) was transferred to Diana before Mano “disappeared”. But really, is anyone buying that story? Did Benito buy that story? And if he didn’t, why in the heck would he hand over a defenseless baby to the evil one, after he had JUST promised his mother to protect her child? Que?! Wasn’t it pretty clear from what Diana said that Fausto was the one who did this to her.

I understand Mac going along with the story because 1) she’s delusional about her future with Fausto, and 2) she’s scared witless of Fausto. She’s also trying to cover her butt in the whole rotten affair.

Why haven’t Toño or Max, who have both gotten a free pass for their crimes (ridiculous!), said anything about what they know about Fausto to the cops? Nope. They are just going to wait for Fausto to try to eliminate them anyway, before they can do anything useful with their info. This seems to be a pattern in this tn. People with important info die before they can share that info with anyone.

I want to see what Toño does next, but I’m already disappointed in him for letting the Padre photo mess continue, and not saying anything to Barragan about Fausto. Now it looks like he’s actually contemplating following Fausto’s orders to get rid of Max. What a waste! What a waste of a 2nd, 3rd, chance! Ditto for Max.

Can you tell that I found this episode frustrating? :) Fausto is just going to continue to have a grand old time right up to the last moment.

Thanks for your great comments Vivi and yes I agree that Fausto just roaming around is just utterly stupid. Even if Fausto has political immunity, Mat could have still hired bodyguards or something. Roar this will make for interesting dinner talk at least! Ben is too stupid to live, I mean having to ask Mac's POV on Faust is utterly damning stupid .

I don't know if I should keep rooting for Max, I dont know why he is avenging his monster dad. Why doesnt Teo say anything?? I would be pretty pissed you know, avenging a rapist.

The Faust talk with Tom was quite scary but IDK I am more scared with Alexis Ayala around. That actor can truly scare you to the shitter.

Countx- I think Max has been keeping Teo in the dark about all his crooked dealings and his vengeance quest.

Count---It's been a blast and I have loved every minute while reading your recaps.

Diana is now bratwurst. True but I must add that you sure have a unique way of saying things. I myself would never had thought of that. I still cringe thinking about her terrible ending. She wasn't a nice person but did she deserve an ending like that?

Count---I laughed at your dinner conversation comment. Who of us wouldn't be fighting each other to be a guest at one of those dinners? Gee Fausto, can you tell us about some of your past escapades and adventures? You could sell tickets to those dinners. Just think about it. Fausto could write a book about the past and thus become the towns leading historian. LOL

Fausto threatens the padre not to tickle the devil or he might end up next on the list. Right, Fausto has no bounds. Devil Dog looked quite pleased when he was showing padre Tom the pictures.

Comandante Barragan gives Tono a second chance and Simona promises to fix her son. Really? Not with Fausto around. How can you fix things with that guy running loose.

I only can say that after Devil Dog meets his fate, the towns church should be full and overflowing with the towns people thanking God for his demise.

Front and center tonight. Will Ren come out of her coma? I forgot what the advances showed.

Thank you, Count, for this and all your previous recaps on this tn. You've kept us going with it through thick and thin (mostly thin). I almost gave up on it several times, especially in the earlier episodes when Fausto was so "rape-y" with Renata. I like the actors Sergio Goyri, Altair Jarabo and Zuria Vega and while those I don't like (overacting Mark Tacher and teeth-talking Sabine Moussier) almost succeeded in turning me away, it was your snarky and witty recaps that kept me going. I don't know how many people watched this. I know few commented, but I know many more enjoyed your and the other recappers' hard work and time spent on this.

RE- Fausto: I think we got an inkling of what made him so heartless and evil and I hope we get more information about it. When he was talking to Padre Tomas, the priest asked him, "what did your mother do to you?" Or something like that. Fausto's face immediately crumpled. He recovered quickly, but there was enough there to make me want to pursue that story. I hope the writers give us something. Not that it would justify anything he's done, but it might explain some of it.

Thanks again for taking us through this often-frustrating journey, Count (and other recappers)!

Lisa

Count,
Thank you for this recap and all the others you have gifted us with. I will comment more later, just wanted to say gracias.

Hasta pronto

Thanks Count for the breakdown of last night's episode, and what an episode it was! And "eyeball soup"? No way, that just made me think of Diana and cringe all over again!!! Can't believe what Fausto did to her.

And even more terrifying how he counted off all his sins to poor Padre Tomas, without a bit of guilt. His hit list just grows and grows, and from what I understood last night when Padre brought up Diego's mom, I don't see her coming back. She is probably another one of Fausto's victims.

Lisa, I too would like to learn a bit more about Fausto's relationship with his mother. We know that his father left his brother Gerardo the hacienda so he had a lot of anger and resentment towards him, but it had to start off way earlier than that.

As for Toño, I was hoping that when Barragan gave him a second chance he would bring up poor Meliton and the location of his body to start Fausto's downfall. Given that he didn't, I don't have too much hope for him to stay clean for too long.

Count,

Thanks for the exciting recap.

I am one of the many others who read faithfully and rarely comment on the fine recaps you and the other recappers put together. I'm not the greatest writer so I hesitate at commenting. But I know I should at least thank you guys for recapping and giving such exciting episodes.

I know something was said that got to Fausto. So maybe hearing about his past
relationship with his mother would explain his behavior. Is he getting worse or is it that we are just finding out a lot more about him?

But thanks again (xrecapper) Count.

Count,
Thanks for recapping this TN for us. I didn't always get to comment, but please know that I always read your recap. They were always so much fun to read. You have a wicked imagination, and I enjoyed reading your take on what you would have happen to our beloved characters.

I too am puzzled as to why Abi did not have any criminal charges against Fausto. I think the writers figured that if Fausto was in jail, he wouldn't be able to do the things he's been doing. Like killing Dianaconda and bribing Father Tom. I know he will have an anvil, I just hope it's one deserving of all that he has done.

I hope we don't have too many unsolved issues at the end of this one. There seems to be a lot to be resolved, and only 3 epi's left. Or maybe not. Maybe it's just the Renata thing, and Abi already knows she's her mom, so I guess it's just a wait and see what happens.

Anyhoo, thanks again Count for your excellent work on this TN. It has been a pleasure reading your recaps.

Hasta pronto!

AuntyAnn- Fausto's crimes still have not been revealed. He has pinned his crimes on others and gotten away with it.

All of the murders and mayhem in town, pre-Lucio' s death, masterminded by and/or committed by Fausto-- all blamed on Lucio who admitted to them before his murder.

Lucio's murder-- Tono took the blame and didn't mention Fausto's involvement.

The murder of Max's mom and stepdad by Fausto-- info died with Porfirio.

Multiple rapes and attempts by Fausto and Lucio-- No one reported these. They will go unpunished and unacknowledged by the law.

Tono also hiding Fausto's murder of Melesio.

Max and Daniela getting away with murder of Porfirio.

The illegal casino (backed and profited from by Fausto) and Mano's murder-- the knowledge of Fausto's involvement died with Mano and Diana.

Diana's eye gouging-- blamed on Mano. Since both Di and Mano are dead, who's going to prove Fausto is lying?

Hopefully Fausto will think himself so omnipotent that he will proudly confess to somebody EVERYTHING he's done in some sort of setup where he is being recorded. That would be the only way that every one of his evil deeds will come to light. If he's as smart as he thinks he is, he'll keep his mouth shut, though. We'll see.

Thanks Countx, Awesome recap of a horrible episode. Why is Fausto still tormenting people? It is sickening the way the character is running unchecked on this TN. Diana ended where she belonged but why is Marc free, she stole the baby in the first place. what are they doing? A few days to the end and Fausto still reigns supreme. Why!!! I find myself changing channels. Everybody in town knows Abi is Renata's child and yet Ren still holds on to her secret. Meanwhile her husband is solidifying his position in her house. why is Jimena still in the picture? Really! setting a good priest up like that is unpardonable and the last straw. I don't get anything. I hope Tonio turns the tables on Fausto. This is the last time I will watch anything produced by the Nesma lady. Her TNS always leave me upset.
Again thanks Countx, I find it hard to watch let alone recap. These writers have no respect for nothing..

Not enough time to comment but wanted to say please keep on recapping with another telenovela. Your style is snarky and unique, and I really enjoy reading them.
You've kept this novella alive for me. Thanks again

Thank you Count. I know I'm late but better late than never!

I like your comments that others have already highlighted. Eye ball soup does not whet my appetite!

I found the scene with Padre and Fausto pretty funny, the way Fausto was jiving him. I'm glad this situation won't last long though.

Thank you Countx for all your amazing recaps, they were well appreciated.

The writer have totally lost it seriously, how does Fausto still get away with everything, but at least i hope we still get some background on his story.
I just hope it ends sensibly with no false redemption pull off for the villians

Will there be a recap of yesterday's episode?

Nice recap
