Yo No Creo En Los Hombres Capitulo 3 Wed 7/15/15 : Ari's wonderful day
Sorry for the delayed recap, my family had a 4 hour long power outage and later we were 2 hours without an Internet connection. Anyway despite the hissy rage here is the recap:

MD proceeds to break up with Daniel over phone because she has called him over and over but only received one call in return. If she calls now it's because ours is now Basta! Daniel doesn't take it well which affects his driving skills thus he crashes into a lamp nearby. (Is this the final goodbye , the anvil of a century? Let's find out!)
Hoe-Sefa points out to the maid of honor, Honoria that MD will never pay Julian any attention cause he is sick ( And his eyeballs also look like they're shortly falling out of the sockets but he is still a great guy) . Hoe-Sefa also reminds Honoria that Max came with other interests rather than actually offering help but MD will choose him anyway. Hon forces her to shut it and it takes three tries till the Duck Tape Curse takes effect or not because Hoe-Sefa promises a sweet revenge to be had.
Isela is still at LawHood with Claudio and she tells him that she is tired from being present on a funeral that was just yesterday. She has also read his book but she had to dump her school to survive her cutesy BSC mother so she couldn't study Law. Claudio hopes that his son Max will be able to help her out. Max later comes and they all exchange looks. Max later drills on Isela for pretending to be MD but Isela points out that MD would never ask him for anything besides they need those jobs cause she just lost her parents while Isela also got fired. ( Seriously how did Max not notice that the one on the phone was not MD when he only just met her yesterday ?!)
Clara says Leo goodbye and he asks her if she will come to school. Clara says that it depends on the mental state of her mother . Clara and MD later serve themselves a crying massage as they lay down to their mother Esperanza that is immobilized by sadness.
Ari is in the shower and Maleny joins him but he refuses her because if he get's hot, the hot seat 'll be burning! Maly later leaves to refresh herself and turns on her phone only to find a flood of unanswered calls from Ursie. Ursie tells her to come immediately to the hospital because Dan had an accident Ru-oh! Ursie later comes to make Dan's life more miserable but he is actually fine, just some little scars and that's all. As Ursie get's busy talking with the Doc outside, Ivana comes and Dan plays an apologetic charming gentleman claiming that he just doesn't know how to act around her. Ivana forgives him nonetheless despite knowing that he is a rather floppy choice.
Max informs Claudio on MD&Isela's situation and he says that they don't deserve that treatment. Claudio points out that Isela got his interest because she is poor and wants to study Law while he has given Leo everything but he only wastes it on other more interesting things. Max says that he has talked with Leo but Claudio's worry will not pass until he talks with him. Leo hasn't even slept the night in their house.
Hoe-Sefa is cutting an apparently old newspaper in which Claudio was still a lawyer. Isela expresses her desire to kill him with her own hands but Hoe-Sefa reminds her that he cannot die yet without him learning of her sister's suffering. They need to banish both Leo and Max from the town because the only one capable of destroying the Bustamante's is Isela. Hoe-Sefa also doesn't like Max helping MD. Isela informs her that Max will help MD while she will seek employment in LawHood to be closer to Claudio. She also informs her crazy mother that Jacinto got her fired.
Ursie comes to inform Dan that he is fine and dandy only to see that Ivana is gone. Dan tells her that he needed rest but not from the pain but from her. They did come back together though. Maleny comes to scratch him if he is fine and he manages to flee the hospital subsequently Maleny's claws LOL.
Claudio is now back at his house lashing at Leo's lack of responsibility. Leo finally comes back and informs Claudio that he switched schools because he doesn't want to become a lawyer but he did want to tell him once all was ready . Claudio disagrees because public schools don't have enough material to make Leo ready to study Law. Alma, the mom points out that Leo has no desire to study Law ( Of course if my family unclogs toilets for a living, I should be the next in line right? ).
Claudio later agrees but Leo will have to pay for his education himself.
Ari get's a phone call from Doris and she asks him of his whereabout's last night. Ari points out that he was at a funeral and barely found a place to sleep. Doris smells the lie and lashes at him for hiding their relationship. But he should not be resting yet because she's returning his malditos chocolates back home! Ari later get's a phone call from Maly and she wonders how she will get to their private area without his kaput car. Ari points out that she has a car of her own but is she too afraid that people will see them ? Maly says Yes because she also has a BF. Ari warns her to solve it because he doesn't want to be a second choice. Maly is tired of the same talk , right now all she needs is to see him.
Claudio and Max converse about Leo. Max tells him that he has tried to follow his father's footsteps ever since birth but Claudio points out that he is still living in his apartment and he has barely finished his career . Max tells that Leo is different and they need to respect that.
Julian is lying sickly in bed and he informs Honoria that MD broke up with Daniel. Hon tells him that this is now his new chance to fall into her once again. Speaking of Daniel, he came to visit MD but this time with a stripped neck and a taxi driver. He manages to convince MD to forgive him with clever charms and tricks like always. MD asks the taxi driver to drive carefully because of Dan's delicate state. Later it ends up that the driver was actually crooked and everything was an good act ( I don't know if I should laugh or cry but I sure hope that when Dan ends up a cripple that he won't be granted any free parking spots. What a clown.)
Max and Leo are tossing balls and they both talk about Clara's and MD's beauty. Max would have to meet MD more to consider her but he also has a GF. Leo points out that Max and Maleny are very different like they were just best friends. Besides she doesn't inspire madness from like Clara does to Leo, the one that he would like to eat with kisses. Max goes to work and Leo comes with him.
Max comes to look at Casa Santibaniez for Maleny but she is not there. He encounters Daniel there and Ursula tells him that he escaped from the hospital despite having an accident. . Max wishes him good luck. Ivana also called to check up on Daniel but Ursula lied that he was still in the hospital strapped like a genie pig for observation. ( Perhaps they'll make an Anti- Hoe spray out of his clown , poker-faced genes)
Ari gets visited by Doris which brings him the chocolates so he could serve them as dessert for his many others. At the same time Maleny comes but fortunately Max calls to invite her for dinner. Maleny says that she wanted to surprise him so she will meet him there at his apartment. Doris later dumps Ari. ( Oh wow, this has been such a terrible day for Ari. Who wouldn't feel bad for him?)
Isela thanks Orlando for consoling her. He wonders if Isela manages to forget her sister when others pass away and she says no because her BSC Mom keeps reminding her about it.
(I actually hope that they last , they seem quite cute together. May the Anvil Shield protect them!)
Claudio and Alma are having dinner and Susana suggests him to find something for Leo in the office. Claudio says that everything is already occupied. Alma says that he could save him from having to look somewhere else but Claudio is adamant at not hiring because Leo will finally learn that life is not that easy as he believes.
Ivana is also having dinner with her excruciatingly boring aunt Susana ( But she also does make wicked sense regarding men .) and her aunt laughs at Ivana for letting Dan to charm her with his dirty manners. The aunt notices that Ivana is having a diet and believes that it is because of Dan but Ivana points out that it is because of Gerry's idea to showcase her clothes and to show the world that she and her mother are two completely different people.
Clara explains her plans of quiting school but MD doesn't agree with it and reminds her that she has dumped school too in order to find a job. She will work her hardest in order to support Clara and their mother. Clara promises to MD that she will pay for MD's college when she manages to graduate. ( Yeah , with your procrastination problems I would highly doubt it.)
Max manages to come into his apartment and Maleny awaits him ( Leo is so right at Max looking super ridiculous with Maly, I bet he won't be so bored when Maly transforms from a bored spoiled princess playing Tennis into a scary witch playing Fool Me Not ) . Max lashes at her slightly for not telling him about Dan's accident but Maly didn't though it was important enough. Max says that from now on she will tell him everything that goes on because they're supposed to be together having chemistry.
In the morning Esperanza get's up but she pours the wrong coffee. MD says it's nothing. Espie wakes Clara up cause it's time for school but Clara woke up with the left foot in the grave because she doesn't want to go. Espie doesn't agree neither does MD. Espie declares that she is going to find a few jobs to help get the money that they need. MD promises to her that she will support them both and even buy Espie the fashion gallery ( Correct me if I heard that wrong) that she desires so much.
Isela goes to meet with Max wearing a very pretty dress but Orlando stops. She explains her destination and gives him a goodbye kiss. Ari also comes by and notices the romance in the air. Orlando says that he wishes to but her BSC mother poses a big problem. Ari also informs him of his bad day before and that he is soon getting a girl that he desires & has money.
Hoe-Sefa was just moping the floor but as soon as she saw Max & MD together she and her broom have entered 007 Mode to escuchar this petulant long chat .
Meanwhile Max tells the passing MD of the situation and MD is certainly not pleased with Isela's scheming behind her back . Max informs her that Isela also lost her job. MD says that Max can help Isela but leave her alone besides she is now rushing to find job interviews. Max gives her money but Hoe-Sefa comes by and takes the money because Isela was just heading to find him. When they're alone Max tries to convince MD to fight against her injustice. Meanwhile Hoe-Sefa taunts Espie that MD has got a boyfriend. ( If I had a neighbor as nosy as Hoe-Sefa I would have definitely considered moving out ASAP and only be conversing with a brick wall. Also I would have soundproof walls so that no nosy bugger would interrupt me in my conversations.)
Ursula comes to wake Dan up in a huge manner almost breaking the door down and even waking up Maly like Merry Christmas Suckers! Ursula is on the edge with her two kids . Dan is not pleased but he pleads Ursie and Maly to rent them their cars. They both refuse and Dan grabs Maly by her back ( Are they becoming lovers or something? I am a bit disturbed by their weird behavior .)
Espie confronts MD about her hidden relationship because in their family lies bring no good value's. MD simply excuses herself and tells that everything will be just fine.

Leo asks how does she know and Clara tells him that she knows that he is the son of a powerful judge and has a lawyer as a brother. Leo points out for the third time today that he doesn't wanna follow their tracks. ( Is he going to become Dan's new taxi driver?) . Clara informs him that her father supported the family in all but now things have turned so difficult. They do a cute hug.
MD is about to go having her day until Dan stops by with his borrowed car. MD tells him that it's all over because her mom discovered the relationship. She will never have a hidden relationship EVER.

Thanks for the detailed recap. Because of the faulty or non-existent English captions, I had a hard time following all the characters.
How is Isela related to MD? Is Isela supposed to be "good" or "bad"?
Like others have pointed out, whenever I see Fabiola,I think of her as Bridgette from DQTQ, and MD's mother as the scheming gambling-addicted mother in PSMA.

Thank you Tofie. I would tol hate if MD accepted Dan back just because he decided to meet her mom. He hasnt even bothered before so now it shouldnt be the saving case. MD is tender and responsible but she is also gullible.
Goblue I think Isela is supposed to be a character in the grey. For now she is good but her mission of revenge might pick her on the bad path. I too see MD's mother as the manipulative mother from PSA but she has been nice so far and quite supportive.I am not bothered by her yet. I think she will do a nice member of the Good Team!

Isela is not related to MD, just lives in the same hovel and formerly worked at the same place. I don't think Isela is bad, in fact she is being used and mistreated for revenge purposes & free ride by a woman not even her mother but presents herself as such. Isela used her association with MD as leverage to come in contact with Claudio through Max, cleverly I think. Who knows what she may ultimately do in executing the revenge plan but I have sympathy for her, clearly she is under duress.
Yeah, I suppose this will be a sad story especially because of Isela and the harm that it may cause her BF. I hope something horrible happens to Hoe-Sefa in the end. The crackpot question is, who is Isela's real mother? I think it's Susana just cause it's a wild bare guess. I suppose we will learn more of Isela's origins much much later.
Anyways I have started to watch Mi Pecado as a follow up if things get too depressed and down! I think I will have a fun time watching both of these supposedly excellent novelas. Next I think I might watch El Color de Pasion. This novela seems like it will be a fun blast.Nothing is better than strong women beating their reptililian sluggish companions to the bottoms!

Daniel is such a slimeball. He deserves to be suddenly poor and stay that way. He's much too cavalier about the damage to the car, as though he could buy a new one the next day. Maleny is no better.

Thank you Urban. Daniel sure is a slimeball and a joker with women. But aside from that I am more bothered with these brother -sister hug Dan and Maly have. I know that these are supposed to be tender loving hilarious teasings but I just hope for God's sake that they don't get promoted to incest.
As for sexual harrasment , I wouldnt know since I don't live in Mexico. But Jacinto and the mere tolerance of his superiours makes me ack. Why haven't they asked for a testimony of the fellow workers? I am sure that they would have lots and lots to say about Boss Dearest.

Just a minor correction; Max and Leo's mother is Alma. Ivana's aunt is Susana.
I found Josefa sweeping in general hilarious because there were kids playing with a ball in the background. Imagine if it were to land in her debris pile.

I planned on just watching the first episode to see what this tn was all about but surprisingly (despite it's depressive aura) it's kind of drawing me in.
Leo is so right at Max looking super ridiculous with Maly
So agree. Maleny is kind of quirky but I find her interesting to watch. Those sibling hugs are weird though.
Right now my favorites are Doris & Leo. He's suppose to be a teenager right? Probably the most responsible tn teenage I've ever seen, he certainly impressed me.
I don't think Isela is a bad person, but I feel that she'll do some grayish acts sometime during this tn. Doubt she'll see any of that money Max gave back to her mom.

So glad I'm not the only one CREEPED out by the grabby physicality of the siblings. Definitely feels like there's something more going on there...
I think it's very interesting that Ari says that skinny girls don't do it for him. He wants Doris at her size, even because of it. He just caves to peer pressure about what pretty is. Though his argument about his job was interesting. Because really, is that so different from expecting politician spouses to look, dress or act a certain way? If a president's daughter acts wild, do we question his ability to lead? Of course, the most disturbing part of this is that the assumption is not that Ari likes her that way or that Doris herself likes her size. I found it especially troubling that she said if she did lose weight it would be for her job. Even she didn't seem to think it was her choice and a decision that should be based on her own comfort and/or health.

About the sexual harrasement, it depends alot in the company you are working for, in terms of laws we have advanced in the last few years but the problem is the lack of awareness and lack of trust in the enforcement of these laws. Behavior that should be reported and dealt with is seen as harmless in the mind of many, sometimes including the women this is directed to. And many companies have people in positions of power who tend to believe the woman to be the liar or the instigator who started whatever happened. Some companies and institutions are great. The ones that are aweful unfortunately have this lack of awareness and if the women who suffered the harrasement are at an economic disandvantage prefer to stay quiet than to risk trying to sue their bosses and losing due to a corrupted system.

Oh, and sexual harrasement done to men is still not very much talked about. If it's done by women, people laugh it off because men are supposed to enjoy female attention, although some men do report it. If it's done by other males then it's a taboo that nobody ever talks about.

Maleny is so far fun to watch but i find Julian better. I also like Dan's antics to a point.He seems to love being a shiny troll. I love the actor's facial expressions!

Urban, I don't think Jacinto's female employees would agree. I think he has them all under his perverted watch despite being ugly and fat. Also I wonder why in the seven hells didnt that storage-room in which MD got abused have cameras. I would imagine that every company by now had access to a video feed. The boss should have put MD into temporary vacation ( Still paid) , call the cops to have permission to observe the video feed and later judge the situation. But this seemed to have been a company which had poor ethical grasp and lack of security measures. They don't even have a bodyguard.
The typo with Susana ( Ivana's aunt) and Alma ( Claudio's wife ) has been fixed. I have mixed the two due to an accidental overlook of the cast list but the typo is no more. Thanks a lot Encaje Rojo!

I had to laugh at how clever Dan was at playing like his car accident was why he was unable to call and be with MD while she was dealing with her father's murder. Well, played. But he wasn't counting on her ending things simply because of her sense of dignity and honor-- wanting to respect her mother and herself by being in an out in the open relationship. What's Dan going to do now? If he won't meet her mother and friends, it's over.
I got the sense that Doris might work at a high end clothing boutique or company. She was in a uniform at work and there were other women in the background in the same uniform. I could understand if work is pressuring her to have a certain look, and that's why she said she'd only lose weight if it was a requirement for work. She's very cute and sexy, and Ari seems to be very attracted to her as she is. But like MD, she deserves a relationship that's out in the open and a boyfriend proud to show her off.

But crazy stuff still happens here, and all it takes is watching an episode of Mad Men to realize that not too long ago here, men could get away with almost anything in the workplace.

Thak you Vivi and I think that there are plenty of good guys in line to represent our ladies like Orlando, Leo, Max , Julian and Gerry. So far the biggest jokers seem to be Dan and Ari but I hope that they receive their lessons soon. I also hope that Julian gets some good love interest aside from MD .

Goblue, I have no Idea what is up with those. I did send my team members an email though. I surely hope that it isnt anything harmful like a power outage.I have heard that there are military exercizes in US so there might be a fair share of internet and power outages.
