Amores con Trampa #104 of misbehaved kids... of a couple trying to revive the fire... of two grown men going on a scavenger hunt ... and a copter gadget on the loose
Labels: Trampa
I really liked Santi as a 50s greaser. That whole segment was fun!
I'm off to bed, but I be by again in the morning.
So
Beto is now going to be in the dance competition. Does that means that Hilda will be his partner. (?)
Porfirio says he might even come back married from San Bartolo el Chico. Now that he knows that a woman is looking for him, this visit seems more like an adventure for him. Facundo is clearly the more worried of the two.
That was some huge cinnamon concha that Florencio brought for Porfirio.
Carmen still has not learned her lesson. No anvil for her yet. Hope she gets a good one soon. At least Margarito is going to benefit from her needing Susana to cover for her.
Esteban was sure nervy asking Facundo for his trip details. It was none of his business.
The dangers of playing with drones! I wonder how long Jacinto will be stuck in the well before someone discovers him.
Jarifa
Only able to see a few scenes but it appears they were among the more pivotal ones. I so enjoyed the Carmona's outing! Loved Fac hitting the horse on the carousel with his hat to go faster and those very cool water bubbles. The roller coaster looked fun and exhilarating. So sorry I missed the Grease scenes, I’m going to try and watch this tomorrow.
So Feli is out of the dance content and it seems Carmen is soon to be as well(?) If Diego and Francis end up as partners, I’m going to scream…
"Hilda says its no secret either that she is falling for another guy (Felipe can’t help but smile about that)". Really? Well, that makes one of us. I feel Hilda has gotten away scot free with some heinous behavior. Doesn’t seem quite right does it?
I loathed the Rocio/Beto confrontation, it was very painful to watch. Even more, I highly resented that Beto actually sort of smiled and seemed happy to see Hilda (who made another untimely appearance)! Ack.
I do think that was a beautiful cross Flor gave Maria (looked like gold to me too Marta). Flor has excellent (and obviously expensive) taste. Is he sincere about giving up his pursuit of Maria?
Poor Jacinto! Perhaps Isa can continue to redeem herself if she rescues Jacinto.
Susana with her "dukes" every ready to rumble, just makes me smile. Enjoyed the rabbits too.
Marta, thank you!
Diana
I was waiting for the drone to land on the roof and was relieved when I saw it on the ground. That was of course until poor Jacinto fell in.
Diana
In addition to our dearly missed Susana Gonzalez, this features Jorge Salinas, Fernando Colunga, Michelle Renaud[from La Sombra] and Altair Jarabo!
Not sure when this will air. I am hoping this ends up in an early timeslot but I'm doubtful.
What a cast!
Diana
It does look like Beto and Hilda and Francis and Diego are going to end up partners. Blech.
The rabbits were my favorite part of the night and I love that you mentioned them, Marta. I lived that the actors were casually petting them as they acted out the scene.
I am quite smitten with Franklin, too. He's very handsome.
Diana- Pasión y Poder follows Lo Imperdonable in Mexico. You never know anything with Univision, but I can't imagine they won't bring it to the US. It will probably end up being one of my weekend catch up novelas.
Jarifa - I'm trying to keep up with 5 novelas right now and I'm always behind! And even with three of them ending soon I won't get relief because I want to see the shows that follow too!
You can really feel that they were asked to stretch this tn out a little longer, but I enjoyed the family outing nonetheless.
Seems appropriate that just Fac and Porf will go meet the mystery lady in SBeC, since if it's Fac's mom, that's where the history for those three started and ended. I can't imagine how Fac will react to this revelation.
Since the family still wants to go to see Carmen at the school dance, shouldn't they be allowing her to go to the rehearsals? I don't understand why she had to sneak out to go.
Isabel was remembering the same dance competition. The dance teacher said it was a tradition at that uni, that their parents likely did. Then we had Isa looking through her pics and remembering when she, Santi, Este, Stefi and Mireya all participated. That was a reall fun bit, with the consumes, hair, and comic book/graphic novel look.
Isabel's "trip down memory lane" was cute and well done.
Also loved Susana closing her eyes and catching the "aroma" of the money when Carmen offered it to her.
Just too much to like about last night.
Jarifa
Porfirio's cinnamon concha - whenever I see bread in the TNs it looks so delicious. We've got a panificadora in town. I really should go check it out.
Agree, Isa's photo book, dance memories were fun. Sebastion and Santi must have loved doing this skit. Cool dudes.
I don't get it either. Carmen is grounded but they're going to go see her in the dance competition? These competition scenes are not my favorite. Everyone stands around in a dismal room not quite knowing what they're doing there with all of them making jabs at each other. Dreary.
At this point, I'd like to see Rocio back with Diego now that they've both matured a bit. Beto and Carmen have a long ways to go, and I'm tired of them.
Pobrecito Jacinto .. yes, Isabel's key to redemption unless she uses it to start in on Facu again. Like his kids, I think he still has a ways to go and could be easily swayed.
Uh oh, Hilde left alone in that apartment. What WILL she cook up.
However, we only have a few weeks to happily ever after !!
Lola
Also a good point about the rehearsals, Lola. There better be a spectacular musical dance number after suffering through the rehearsal scenes.
Wondering who was behind the teacher calling to get Beto in the dance. Francis? So she can get Feli away from Hilda? I’m very suspicious. I think Beto is still in as long as his leg holds up.
Loved the Grease comic, especially Esteban doing the twist with both girls.
Count me in on the Franklin fan club. He makes quite a striking figure in a suit and tie and those gray blue eyes knocking on the door. When finally Tia met Franklin in San Bartolo Chico and told him where to look for Porfirio, I wondered if the writers might hook her up with Franklin.
I do get why Beto was brusque with Rocio when she visited him in the office. His pride has been hurt and she can’t just take a break from him and return when she gets ready. But I do wish he had kept silent and simply listened to what Rocio had to say. Sigh.
Hmmm, Fac is progressing. He used to put Beto “in charge” of the house when he was away. This time he put Maria in charge. Of course, every time he left Beto in charge there was a (Francis-made) disaster.
I was bothered by Beto letting Rocío think something might be going on between him and Rocío. That wasn't very nice.

I've only been watching since Soy Tu Dueña, but I've tried to catch up on some on DVD.
What have you seen Jarifa? (If you don't mind me being nosy.)

This is interesting.

My problem is that I can always find something that I like on tv. If I watch 2 novelas that is ten hours of viewing time a week right from the start and I haven't even started to watch anything else.
Such hard decisions to make! : )
Jarifa
Cuna de lobos is very good. It's from the 80s and it reaired earlier this year. I'm glad I got to see it. Very suspenseful and dark.
I liked Mi corazón es tuyo well enough but had to stop watching because new TNs debuted that I was more interested in and there wasn't time to watch everything I wanted.
Outside of news and an occasional program, Uni is all I watch during the week. I do watch a little PBS, Bravo, Animal Planet and HGTV on the weekend.
Watching this and being with all of you has made what has been a difficult time for me these past few months very welcome and grand fun. Thank you.
Diana
The one following this is an original story. I've seen a lot of comments on Mexican sites about it looking just like Betty la fea/La fea más bella but the producer (Rosy Ocampo) says it's not. I think the writer is from Spain.
I saw a promo that does look like this may mirror Betty la fea. But, I never watched that.
I'm all for a good "ugly duckling" transformation. My favorite was in Amor Real with the late Marianne Levy and of course our amazing Ernesto LaGuardia. I love actors that can do both good and evil and he certainly can (although he was reformed in AR).
Like you Sara, I would really like to see a real love story. As good as La Sombre has been, it sadly lacked in a believable "I'd rather die than live without you" lead couple.
And, as much as I love this, I would not have minded a few more Fac/Maria love scenes. Sans Facundo's shirt of course :)
Hugs to all. Sleep well.
Diana
There seems to be a slew of villains in that one, so not sure if they all will be not as graphic and violent as La Sombra but probably will have some villains getting away with some stuff.
Ernesto Laguardia has been delightfully funny in this, but I do remember seeing a few scenes in Corona de Lágrimas and he was not delightful at all.
Thanks for that info, Marta. I can handle villains get away with things up to a point. Sombra has pushed my limit.
And would it be a Telenovela if there wasn't a roller coaster until the leads get together? Lol.
Oh, and Amores con trampa has been good except that Fac wore his shirt too much. I agree with you Diana.
Jarifa
Lola
Diana, thanks for my afternoon laugh.
Looking forward to tonight's episode. Hopefully Jacinto in the well will get resolved quickly.
