Muchacha Italiana Viene a Casarse #28 Thu 10/1/15 (Mex 38) Hos and Heffas.
Julieta is still blind. After learning that Anibal is not available, the doctor agrees to let Sergio sign anything that needs to be signed because that's totally how health care facilities work. While Sergio is gone, Anibal does pay a visit. Too bad Julieta is all "is that you Sergio my love?" So Julieta=busted. Anibal=hypocritically offended.
During a meal, we are treated to the sight of Sonia getting sick to her stomach. Now we are all sick to our stomachs.
Drunk!Ramiro interrupts Sonia's nausea and the meal to yell at Eloisa. Eloisa's security team sucks. Shouldn't they be able to stop a drunk, disgruntled employee? He asks Eloisa why she does't just die already and stop hurting peopel. He says she's sitting high and mighty enjoying her food while she takes food from his family. Ramiro is dragged away and Fredericka makes a snide comment along the lines of "how can anyone speak so ill of you, Eloisa? You are so beloved!"
Pedro spends the episode investigating, thus ignoring Aitana. That's fine with me, but Aitana isn't so happy about it. She and Rox start drinking.
Gianna is desperate to see her sister. Benito agrees to take her to Fiorella. He lets air out of a tire. That will be his excuse to take the car into town. Unfortunately, Aitana and Rox stumble out of the house. Gi hides in the back of the car. The drunken hos (or are the heffas?) want to go to a club. Benito has to drive them. (Ok, seriously...Aitana is no different from Rox. Why the hell does Eloisa approve so much of this skank?)
Once they are at the club, Rox want Benito to come with her. She slimes all up in Benito's façade. Benito looked pretty into it if you ask me. Gianna sees this from the car. She gets mad, hops out of the car and starts walking. Probably not the smartest thing to do.
Luckily, Gael is in the vicinity (Rox had invited him to the club earlier.) He sees Gi walking away and decides to follow, thank heaven. Gi gets accosted by a few shady dudes, but Gael is there to rescue her. I was surprised she didn't faint, but I guess we are done with that now that she lives in the fresh country air and is getting her treatments.
Fidel makes a comment that Ojos que no ven corazón que no siente...which reminds Pedro to check the security tapes. But what the hell, I thought they had already done that? Whatevs. It keeps him busy and he continues to ignore Aitana.
In the club, Aitana calls Pedro over and over and over. Some guy tries to pick her up. She ignores him so utterly that I keep wondering why the hell he keeps trying. Eventually though I think she gives him the time of day...then Pedro returns her calls and it's buy-bye and let me toss a drink on you. Dude, you dodged a bullet. Be glad.
This biggest event of the night is the capture of Fifi. (Random statement: Eli's title yesterday reminded me of Laurie "Bambi" Bembenek.) Diana (heffa or ho?) finds out that when Vito was first looking for Fi, she was hiding out with Benito's parents. Diana calls the police and rats her out (anonymously of course.)
The police come to Adela and Ray's house and drag Fifi away. Waterworks abound.
But Pedro found video evidence that Fifi went into Eloisa's room! (Which proves nothing to me! Someone explain to the dense recapper!)
Vito rants about Fifi getting caught. Diana just "ah well, someone ratted her out. Too bad."
Julieta rejoices when she hears the news. Sergio thought bubbles about "poor Fifi." So young and she's screwed her life up so much.
Pedro visits Fifi in jail. She´s innocent, she swears. But she's surrounded by people who have it in for her.

Eloisa's security team sucks;
(Ok, seriously...Aitana is no different from Rox. Why the hell does Eloisa approve so much of this skank?);
I was surprised she didn't faint, but I guess we are done with that now that she lives in the fresh country air and is getting her treatments.
But Pedro found video evidence that Fifi went into Eloisa's room! (Which proves nothing to me!
Ramiro could have laid waste to the whole table! ITA on Granny's high opinion of Aitana! They didn't think this through very well nor the non-faiting Gianna. And thank you for expressing your confusion over what seeing Fifi go into the room proves! This whole burning eyeball thing is so weak, it's pathetic! And the fight that Fifi and Julieta were supposed to have, did any of y'all see it? The only thing I remember is Fifi trying to comfort her as she sat on the stairs crying after Freddie spoke some obvious truths about that man-whore husband of hers! What. Ever!
Oh, and let me weight in on the heffa and ho issue:
Aitana, Diana and Roxie: HEFFAS
Sonia: HO
Mille grazie, sorellina mia!
Also chuckled at Sonia nauseous...us sick to our stomachs. oh yeah, not looking forward to that number coming up.
I presume that Dante just lied about the security films showing Fiorella NOT entering the room, so it was not until Pedro looked, that he saw the truth. Have I mentioned how much I loathe Federicka? And I think even randy old Dante is cooling off on her now.
Well, I was rooting for Diana to snag Vittorio, but I'm done with that. However, if Carlos were watching this, he'd remind us that neither Diana, nor Sonia, have killed anyone yet, and he'd probably have a cozy Redemption Table set up for them well-stocked with drinks. Not communion wine though!
Love your style, Sara. You always make me smile, and today I especially needed it. Two funerals this weekend, one for a lovely young woman in her fifties who died far too soon and left so many heartbroken.
I very much believe that Dante lied. I just don't see how seeing Fi entering Eloisa's room proves anything.
When Roxy was trying to convince angry Aitana to go clubbing with her, Aitana said something like "I want to eat someone." I presume this is an idiom for anger, and does not have the same meaning as in English.
Dante's exact feelings continue to elude us. For a while he seems to be on the up and up, then he makes a 180 and begins to spout evil Freddy stuff. Very confusing.
I would have liked to have seen Vito's home. In my mind, I imagine the guy to be a cheapskate living in something that wouldn't appeal to any woman.
Gael to the rescue! Gee, if the guy could shake the drug habit, he would be a really great person.
Well, I guess Pedro will "prove" Fi isn't guilty and she will be "free" once again to be attacked in the Angeles household by all and sundry.
Thanks again, Sara.
David
"You pointed out so many weaknesses in the plot, such as exactly what the security camera evidence proved, and how pathetic the security is around the Angeles household."
I haven't seen a whole episode all week; just bits and pieces. I was really hoping that my confusion was due to missing some important scenes/information. I am almost sad that it's just sloppy writing...but it does make great comment fodder.
I guess the whole thing about Fiorella going into Eloisa's room is about where the eye drops bottle came from. The assumption is that if she didn't enter Eloisa's room she merely supplied a new bottle with the acid content.
She would still need to know what the actual one looks like, especially since it's likely to be a prescription bottle at Eloisa's age. However, the real weakness in the writing here is that if Dante is the security chief, wouldn't he have installed the security cameras himself or supervised their installation?
More later.
So I'm thinking Pedro is excited about seeing Fi go in the room: If Dante lied she went for the drops to Eloisa's room, that implied that Fi had a stash ready to use for evil purposes. But showing she went in the room to get the drops and came right to them may prove she wasn't the one who switched the drops or tampered with them. It's a stretch, but then isn't everything in this TN?
And OMG!! Who the heck hired that actress playing Roxy? Her whole drunk screeching, wide-eyed horrendous acting was literally painful to watch and listen to. Thank the heavens we got the cuts to Gia and Gael and all those hugs. And yes, Benito was totally into that skank-ho's kisses. He can have her.
And looking at the outfit that Aitanna had one, and she's such buddies with Roxy who Eloisa doesn't have a good opinion of, makes me wonder about Eloisa. My only guess is the chick is from money and so that apparently is ok in her book. Has to make me wonder about Pedro. He sure did like the clingy types.
I did sort of like that Pedro showed up at the jail and he believes in Fi. Lord knows she needs someone in her corner. Girl probably rues the day she left Italy.

As mentioned the premise Fio was as fault was she didn't go to the room but had the bottle. For that, and a few well placed words from Freddie, she was guilty. To take the stupid farce further you have 4 plain clothed police come to grab her in the night and lock her away. And gawd, all that bawling from Fio with her face pressed to the bars like she would hang at daybreak. Now bet she'll go back to live there if Pedro's find cast doubt.
He's cute I agree but not impressed with Pedro. He drinks from grandma's teat just as the rest do and he has horrible taste in women.
You hit the ground running and never looked back. Too many tasty tidbits to name them all but "logical order is for chumps", "...During a meal, we are treated to the sight of Sonia getting sick to her stomach. Now we are all sick to our stomachs" and "She slimes all up in Benito's façade" were among my many favorites.
I am embarrassed to admit that I don't fully understand what constitutes a heffa, but I have an idea so my vote is that they are all heffas, except Sonia who is both heffa and ho. ;)
Fiorella can't catch a break and I am so disappointed in Julieta whom I mistakenly thought would be one of my favorites (very slim pickings here, aren't there??)
Dante "evil Freddy stuff" - great line David.
Is Aitana supposed to be a major character? She has no storyline. She stares and drinks. Much like our unbeloved Roxy who now makes me physically cringe every time she appears. Really, can she never have anything nice to say?? Even the loathsome Freddy manages a smile. A fake one certainly, but I won't quibble.
Prayers and hugs to you Judy.
Diana
I'm still a little hazy on "heffa."
Note that Ivana is called a "vaca" in YNCELH.
"Julieta=busted. Anibal=hypocritically offended." Are they on again or off again? I can't remember. I was confused when she started making excuses. She doesn't have to explain anything to this jerk.
"Eloisa's security team sucks." Security...they keep on using that word...I do not think it means what they think it means.
"That's fine with me, but Aitana isn't so happy about it." More confusion on this one. She's practically a "member of the family" and somehow has no clue what's been going on? I know he was making excuses, but should she not be comforting Eloisa or visiting Julieta or something that gives her some "good wife material" cred instead of putting on sequins (apologies to any sequin aficionados, but that dress was a fashion don't) and whining about dinner?
"But what the hell, I thought they had already done that? Whatevs." So did I! I thought Gael did it.
Sara - as far back as the 1970s we here in Mid. Tenn. would call girls "heifers" meaning young, unmarried female. I had nothing to do with size or behaviors. It was just a neutral (connotation) slang term.
Why was Ramiro raging on Eloisa? Did I sleep through something???
So much screaming & crying in this telenovela. It's getting on my nerves. Whoever invented the FFWD--> button deserves a Nobel Peace Prize.
Fio wouldn't be in jail right now had Pedro consulted him for a work around, she'd be safely asleep at a Best Western right now.
I did think it funny when they put Fio in the cage she was yelling for them to contact either Pedro or Vitto to get her out.
Heffer (Heffa)
1.) A very large woman, being called a heffer by someone, normally thinner, who is depserate to insult them, because the "heffer" is winning...
2.) a bitch, or another bitch calling another girl (or boy) a bitch...in the form of heffer
So you guys were spot on.
Daisynjay
Like the rest of you, I can't believe Eloisa thinks Aitana is marriage material when all we've seen of her is that she's a hairy copy of Rox. Eloisa did mention recently how rich Aitana's parents are, so I think that must be it.
All these bs are heffas, including Eloisa.
"...hairy copy of Rox...
I just laughed so hard all my students asked if I was ok.
My day=made.
But then, she had a screech match with Freddy just a couple days ago and then listens to Fred's rantings as if she is the all-knowing one the very next day. Something is truly off with this woman...and I think Pedro may get a dose of Grandma disillusionment soon.
Daisynjay
" Pedro found evidence that fifi went in to Eloisa's room! (which proves nothing to me) someone please explain this to the dense recapper", LOL!!! HAhahaha!! maybe this part is a filler, but it was really funny.
Freddy" how can anyone speak so ill of Eloisa, you are so beloved", really? these people are so funny and ridiculously stupid.
Sergio is just really odd. "Poor fifi, So young,
And she's screwed up her life so much". Hes
No help at all. Pedro seems to be the only one using his brain cells, and he didn't get them from his dads side of the family.
I thought Eloisa was the smart one, but she Is just as brain dead is the rest of them. which means their brain cells came from her and Maximo. Pedro you dodged the bullet baby.
I think I need to start reading some Dominick Dunne.
I feel this novela has taken a Mejia turn. My heroine Eloisa has taken an Alzheimer turn. She seems to forget Fer yelling about her padre & proclaiming her hatred for Eloisa. AND still Fi is the one she blames.!!!???? Que what?
