Muchacha Italiana Viene a Casarse #53 Thu 11/5/15 (Mex 76) Death, Doom, Tragedy, and Eloisa thinks its all about her.
And now we have another excellent recap by the one and only sneaky two shoes! Take it away, sneaky!
Anibal in a blue hoodie chloroforms Jullietta
Fi tells Pietro its always the same; we get our hopes up for love and the rug gets yanked out - why try, enough is enough (I think the patio feels the same)
She's gonna marry the geezer and he's having a kid.
Pietro explains that no he's not
At the hospital, Elo tells Sonia she understands how it is to lose a child while Sonia stares wordlessly ahead, tears slowly running down her cheeks.
Elo gets really in to the story of her losses - son and husband - and starts crying about how all of the color goes out of the world and only pain and rage is left, but Sonia doesn't react.
Finally Elo finishes, kisses Sonia on the forehead and tells her they'll see her at the house when she's better, kissing Os on the cheek on her way out.
As soon as she's gone Os gets abusive - upshot he's divorcing her because she's worthless
Sonia's complete lack of reaction only angers him further and he yells some more till Sergio comes in and sticks up for Sonia, putting himself in the line of fire.
After blaming the whole thing on Sonia and Pietro Os stalks out
Then Sonia finally breaks her silence with heart wrenching sobs, much to Sergio's distress
Dante calls somebody pretending to be working for Acorp setting up a tribute for Vinicio and wants to talk.
Fed comes in and says she's goin to the hospital, wants Dante to go with, but he has important personal security things to do for Elo so nope
Pietro is still explaining the story to Fi
Both Fi and Pietro air their insecurities about seeing the other with another
Sergio calls Pietro to find out que the hell about Sonia - Info exchange
Somebody should stay with Sonia but I can't because Juilietta is missing and I'm worried
Fi wants to go with to help out but no more kisses, in fact in this place where we had our first kiss, this will be our last kiss.
Aitana tells her mom she's sick of putting up w/Pietro and pretending to forgive him, he's super boring. Mom tells her you'll never find another rich guy as gullible and hey it won't be forever, once you are married we can take all his money and split.
Aitana sent her dad some info from the office that will make it easy for them to take all the Angeles money.- Aitana's folks don't seem to see her as a person, more like a cash machine.
Gael and blonde arrive at the event - not many other people there- all the better to talk and get to know each other- Gael introduces her to a great surgeon he knows, smiles all around. Gi arrives and pretends she left her invite at home and then pulls a name out of the air to get in. When that doesn't work, she tries this line: 'I just need to go yell at my bf real quick, won't take a minute' The guy doesn't go for that either so Gi tries to make her not having an invite a classist thing. Still no joy so she pouts and leaves
Dante meets a woman at a bar and they talk about Vininco. She had a secret relationship with Vinicio, she says she knew the accident wasn't an accident and he doesn't need to threaten her not to talk, she hasn't all these years, so leave her alone. Dante reassures her he's not here to threaten her into silence, but to find out the truth
Fed lurks nearby
Anibal has a creepy hideout complete with a human sized cage which he puts Jullietta into. What kind of businessman was he? He blames her for his being in trouble with the law for his actions, apparently its all her fault for leaving him. He takes away her cell phone and tells her this is only the beginning.
Elo cries to Max's picture about not having great grandkids, and oh what's going to happen to the family and more importantly all the money, and oh I don't dare die w/o knowing what's going to happen, ect.
Joaquina comes in and tries to calm her down and says cryptic things about losing a child and husband. Os comes home alone. Elo notices Os is a bad husband and points this out to him a few years late. Quina offers to stay at the hospital to look after Sonia since Os is useless, and Elo gratefully accepts since she's too old and weak to do it herself.
Fed over pays a waiter to give Dante a message when he's ready to leave. The waiter looks at the wad of cash and says for this much I'd sing the message if you wanted.
Anibal brings Julietta water and says this is all because he loves her, Julietta tells Anibal he has a very strange way of loving. He says if she drops the charges and goes back to him, he won't cheat any more and everything will be perfect. She pretends to agree and while hugging him grabs something heavy to hit him on the head with, but he sees her and stops her and ties her up.
Vitto gets home and finds 1 Fi is gone and 2 she ditched her phone/leash
Sergio is worried about Jullietta and more worried when he learns from his lawyer Anibal has escaped, Fi arrives and suggests he could accomplish more at home so he heads out
Pietro asks Sonia why she lied about the baby. She was sick of Os (and who wouldn't be? I am and I don't have to live with, or que horror, sleep with him) She wantd Pietro, she loves him and when her mom came up with the idea, she went for it.
Pietro doesn't seem to understand or want to believe how violent and abusive his cousin is but suggests she divorce Os, and when she complains about being left penniless, promises she can keep her job at the family biz, but she can't keep messing with him.
Quina arrives to look after Sonia, and Pietro leaves.
Fi and Pietro catch up out in the hall and do their song and dance for the umpteenth time
Dante and the woman talk about the shady doings of the past. Apparently Venicio knew what Max was up to, Gabriel was always the more powerful partner, but Max and his peeps tried to pressure Vinicio out of the biz all kinds of different ways till the "accident" but nobody knew about her because their relationship was a secret.
The woman has a folder from the biz that Vinicio gave her, she has never looked at it, she was too scared to know. Dante says he'll buy it from her but gets the note from the waiter and has to leave
Gi gets "home" all sad and teary and rings to be let in. Vitto ignores her tears and starts questioning her about her sis and accusing her of covering for her. Well! Gi isn't going to take that! She lets him have it. Aren't they here living with him? Isn't Fi going to marry him? He should be on his knees blessing his lucky stars, not doubting her sister!
Fi visits with Adela who, like the Patio, doesn't understand why, if they love each other they are letting all this other crap come between them. Fi goes in to her spiel but Adela cuts her off - Sorry honey, but you're wrong, you can't ignore love, Vitto has already lived his life, you can't sacrifice yours for him. Fi says its all for Gi and Vitto was the only one who helped me and w/o him Gi might have died. Then she tells the story about how keeping your word was super important to her father, then the says Elo's right and I'm so poor and ignorant, Pietro deserves better. Adela tells her Elo, senior citizen or no, is full of crap with all that business, but Fi has bought in to the whole separate worlds that can never meet crap and won't be steered back in to the ways of sense
Dinner at the Angeles' Roxi and Aitana at the table RPC
Meanwhile Sergio is frantically calling Jullietta's cell phone w/o any answer. After checking with his atty for any news and getting none he has a panic attack
The note for Dante said that Fed had trailed him and seen him with the other woman and now since she can no longer trust him, her life is no longer worth living. So Dante rushes home and finds Fed's room in a shambles. He's worried over what she may have done to herself but she's ok and jealous
Elo sits in the dark waiting to ambush Pietro with questions about whether he was with Fi. When Pietro admits he was, Aitana joins the ambush.
Meanwhile at Vittio's Fi is getting the third degree and Vitto even threatens to throw her and Gi out
She should be so lucky
That's it.
Thank you, sneaky two shoes!

Best part was Gia telling Vittorio off. She should have gone a bit farther, though. He needs reminding that misrepresenting himself as a younger man was dirty pool.
Helloisa was being far too self-indulgent going on about her losses in front of Sonia. I'm no fan of Sonia but that was cold.
I'm wondering how many other guys Aitana and her parents have swindled.
The way Vittorio wouldn't let Fiorella talk really burns me up.
Once again. Felt NOTHING for Sonia.
Tired of big bad wolf, Asvaldo!
Why are they beating us over the head with this misplaced sense of honor. Fifi did not pledge to her father to marry his old, dried up "friend." So Mario talked to her about how your word is the most important thing in life? What about the "word" of this man you're willing to sacrifice yourself to? He LIED to get you! He DECEIVED YOU! I'm glad the old buzzard is showing his true feathers by threatening to put her out on the street: that's what this silly girl is going to need. Apparently that's what Pedro needs, too: to have Aitana take him for every read cent and leave his Angeles ass on the street. Then maybe he and Fifi will come to their senses and join together because they won't have anything but love!
Best line of the night and most sense made goes to Adela: . . .you can't ignore love, Vitto has already lived his life, you can't sacrifice yours for him.
WORD>
Good afternoon folks. Sonia is not a saint and she has lied too much but no woman deserves to be physically or emotionally abused like Assvaldo does with her neither lose a child. This two need to go to therapy but with a professional psychologist because they have a very sick relationship. Assvaldo for humilliating and threatening her and Sonia for tolerating his abuse in exchange of money, jewelry, and shopping. Oh well actually there are many people in this novela that need more than a therapy. Another sick relationship is that one of Fiorella with Vittorio. Oh honey what are you waiting to leave this dictator, did he made a spell on you? Oh Fiorella wake up girl. And oh poor Julieta I hope someone helps her escape from Animal, he is a monster. Oh too many abusers in this novela.
So ok, baby issues, bless the little tike, is over and Pietro buries that latest hurdle. As for Sonia, yeah, I'm sure I would have been like "woman, get your act together and it's called a JOB!" Learn to budget.
Sick of Vitto and I like what you wrote on Adela's advice, but will Fi listen. Lord knows she actually believes this stupid promise she made to a tombstone, so I'm not entirely hopeful. We have a long way to go with this one.
Daisynjay
Ok, Marla and I are going to have to open up a Sonia table, because I was actually crying for her last night, although I don't want her and Os to get therapy, I just want them to break up JA! (I should note that Sonia can totally still lose my support, but she's been through a lot lately so I'm cutting her a couple of breaks)
I still like Daisynjay's idea that she should learn to budget though
__
Lila - I really felt like Adela was talking for all of us in that talking to she gave Fi, she was making some real sense and none too soon
____
Urban - I've noticed Gi's rants can be a good thing or an annoying thing depending on who they're pointed at, if the target is deserving its fun to watch her go off on them, if not, sigh.
I hope the nasty people get caught, I hope the people that seem to be pushovers stop being push overs and I wish somebody would smack the hell out of assWaldo and aitana and shake that old lady. I can't stand those 3 people. Ok, these people are gettin my last nerve. Its annoying just talking about them. Im outta here.
"Then Sonia finally breaks her silence with heart wrenching sobs, much to Sergio's distress." Yeah, that got to me as well. I don't even like Sonia and they keep making me feel sorry for her!
"Aitana's folks don't seem to see her as a person, more like a cash machine." Yep. I got that impression as well. Once again--I don't even like her and I'm feeling sorry for her.
"Vitto even threatens to throw her and Gi out. She should be so lucky." WORD!
