El Hotel de los Secretos #19, 2/19/16 Friday: A Big Secret is Revealed

A little refresher of where we left off Wednesday, Isabel newly released from the obligation to marry Diego, is running through the kitchen and out the door towards the woods with Julio in tow. He meets up with her to ask if she’s ok, she says better than ok, she’s freeeeeeee. She grabs his neck, pulls him close and they kiss. A long time.
He teases her, reminding her about the 40 centimeter rule, the distance they are supposed to keep apart, she says she’s never felt so close to anyone before. (insert heavy breathing here). But what about your family, he asks. She replies that if they don’t have the capacity to see his good heart and bravery, and how strong he is, and if they can’t see that his mere presence makes her a better person, then they aren’t her family.
He said he was taken by her the first time he laid eyes on her, she’s like a drink of water after being lost in the desert. Their happiness is overwhelming. She asks of Cristina, he tells her that there are still missing pieces he needs to find, but if she is with him he can continue on with more strength to handle them. She tells him she loves every piece of him, ooohhh she said it, and she would never ask him to stop because that would be asking him to stop being himself. Awwww. They kiss again to seal the deal. (I know I’m oohing and awwing a lot, but it was so nice).

Ok, splash the cold water on us all after that love scene, because we are now with Mercedes and Eugenia. Why is Eugenia always bothering Mercedes? (Because she’s jealous of her great relationship with their father and it’s how she can get back at her, that’s why.) Eugenia looks at this as a competition and she’s going to win. Why are you doing this to me after I finally found a great guy? Eugenia replies, “ Because you are a Zorra!” If that didn’t deserve a slap, I don’t know what will.
The general comes in after hearing the fighting, wants to know what it was about. Mercedes tells him that Eugenia is insinuating that Filipe is attracted to her. Eugenia denies that and it’s all in Mercedes head and she’s just envious of her body and her beauty. They start arguing again, but the general stops them. (ok, I wasn’t going to recap his exact words, but after hearing them, they turned out to be so good, I have to now.)

General: Envy isn’t something that should be part of this family. Does your sister envy your figure? Probably, but the same as you envy Mercedes' love of culture and books. She speaks 5 languages, and you? And does Mercedes envy your beauty? You could envy Mercedes’s passion and sympathetic nature that she has in all of her actions, everyone is different and she is very different from you. Do you want to know something about your beauty? Try looking in the mirror and ask yourself who is that monster looking back at you. Ouch! Ok, she deserves that, but now I’m certain this all stems from her jealousy of her father's preference of Mercedes over Eugenia.

Filipe is getting his drunk on at the cantina, bemoaning his situation, playing cards with Genaro, trying to sort out his life. He does have a great time with her, he cares about her, but her sister, mmmhmmm. Genaro gives him advice. You have 2 eyes, 2 ears, 2 arms, and 2 legs, and you have 2 sisters who want to be with you. Filipe doesn’t understand. You give one to one sister and the other to the other sister. You had one sister, now try the other. Filipe seems to like that idea.

The doctor stops in to see Teresa in her office to talk. He has everything worked out about Sofia’s fake pregnancy. He’s got the pregnant girl set up here at the hotel so he can watch over her. She’s a bit put out by his taking charge this much, so he asks for her forgiveness, he was only trying to make her stressful life a bit less stressful by taking care of this. Oh, she wasn’t put out by that, she was just touched that someone is being nice and helping her. Liar.
Sofia is asleep when a strange figure walks in and touches her. She screams and freaks out, but it’s only Alfredo. (ok, that was weird and creepy).  He immediately asks for forgiveness for scaring her. Where was he? He went off to do what he had to do. That’s all we get.

Diego is in jail fighting off the flying insects, cursing Cristina Olmedo.

And that was just the first 12 minutes.

The next morning, Victoria informs Elisa that Alfredo is back, but he just left for a walk. Elisa thinks it odd that he just came back and he’s out for a walk. Vic tells her that he came back last night, and Elisa has a fit that Alfredo hasn’t yet come to see her and that he’s choosing Sofia over his own mother!!!

Downstairs, Andres is teaching Violeta about the workings of the kitchen. Violeta is in the maid garb now, she’s hardly recognizable. Belen marches in to mark her territory, telling Violeta that they are novios and expecting. Violeta is happy for them.

Alfredo is in the dining room with Sofia and Teresa and he’s informing them that soon they will have a famous guest, Don Javier Gongoma, who we know is Alfredo’s uncle.
Elisa comes in all bothered by Alfredo not seeing her first, Teresa invites her to sit for breakfast. She tells her that Gongoma is coming. Elisa is still in her snit and throwing her tantrum while Teresa is getting an earful. Elisa wants to know when he’s going to Mexico City to work, but Alfredo hesitates and then says why don’t we wait until uncle comes tomorrow, which tells me whatever deal he made with the uncle doesn’t include Alfredo working in MC.

Eugenia continues her flirting with Filipe in the hallway, asking if he’s decided which sister he wants, and Filipe informs her that he’s considering both options. Mercedes comes by and ends their flirtation.

Dagoberto comes to see Diego. The judge hasn’t signed the order, so Diego isn’t going anywhere. Diego gets another visitor, Garrido, and tells him that the witness who is testifying against him is an employee at the hotel, so wait by the road to the city to see who it is, and kill him.

Matilde brings breakfast to Isabel but Isabel runs out after seeing that it was 10:00am. Poor Matilde, Isabel sure doesn’t treat her friend very well.
At the outside dining area, Julio tells Andres that he is prepared to tell the judge everything he knows about Diego’s involvement in Cristina’s disappearance. Andres is surprised at Cristina and Diego being lovers. Julio is sure that Diego forced this on her. Cristina isn't capable of doing such a thing. Andres wonders what kind of mess Cristina put herself in.  Julio is going to tell everything so that Diego stays in jail.
Isabel comes out and sits, Julio attends her table. She’s happy that she caught him before he leaves to testify. He asks her not to ask him to stay and not testify. (Because testifying also puts him in jail too). She’s not going to ask that, she wants to go with him. They are in this together.

Elisa confronts a happy Alfredo, wants to know why he’s betraying her this way. He says that she betrayed him in the worst way and he did what he had to do. But he’s glad because this was the push he needed to do what was necessary for his family.

Isabel comes back to her room to a waiting Matilde. She hugs her and tells her about The Kiss.

Alfredo is giving Andres and Angela orders about how to treat his uncle when he arrives. Teresa is very impressed, Sofia is very happy. Elisa is in her bedroom crying over her son’s newly grown backbone.

Sofia is now getting an earful from Teresa. She’s upset that Sofia has told everything to the doctor, a stranger. The doctor isn’t a stranger, Teresa hired him herself, and the only thing Sofia did was correct Teresa’s errors. Belen was an error, and we’ve corrected that. Belen comes in to give her some towels but leaves and listens at the door. She hears Teresa tell Sofia that Belen said the child was Andres’s,  and everyone thinks that. Sofia doubts that, but Teresa asks if that’s sufficient reason to bring another pregnant woman to the hotel. People are gossips and they are going to ask why this pregnant new girl gets special treatment to be her maid. Everyone is going to find out that Sofia isn’t really pregnant. Sofia says she’s not going to raise the bastard child of Diego and Belen.

Violeta runs into Jacinto in the kitchen. He’s acting coldly toward her and she wants to know why he’s acting differently than before. He tells her that she’s not who he thought she was. Now he knows what she does. Lupe was watching.

Belen is taking a timeout in her room to think about her situation. Teresa comes to talk. Teresa doesn’t need her child anymore. The people who were going to raise it have changed their minds. Then Belen says she is going to have to raise it herself. But no, Teresa has a solution. She has an herb called Ruda (Rue). 2 tablespoons of it is enough for her to abort her baby. Belen reluctantly takes it. Teresa warns her not to take anymore than that, it could harm her. But what if Belen wants to keep the baby? Teresa tells her that neither of them want the baby to be born, and she hands her a check for 350 pesos. But if she prefers to keep the baby, she can raise it alone in the streets without a job. After Teresa leaves, Belen breaks down and cries.

Filipe, the hound dog, catches up with Eugenia, the cat. They flirt and then kiss.

Belen catches up with Violeta, smooth talks her into become besties. Not good.

Julio is dressed to leave holding a bag of his stuff. He tells Andres he may not be back after testifying today. If he doesn’t, he wants Andres to send that bag of photos and letters from Cristina to his mother. He hugs him warmly and asks him not to say anything to Isabel.
But Isabel has other plans. She tells Matilde she’s going with Julio even if Diego finds out, she’s not engaged to him anymore and she doesn’t care. She looks out the window and sees Julio leaving. She runs after him.

Alfredo is having an important meeting with all the hotel help. Teresa is in heaven, lol. They are having an important guest who will bring great benefit to this hotel. He expects their behavior toward the illustrious Javier Gongoma to be spectacular. Sofia is so proud of his speechifying, that she starts a round of applause. Oh brother.

Julio is walking the country road to town, with Isabel in tow. Garrido is lurking about, waiting for the accuser to walk by so he can kill him. He loads his rifle and sets the sight on Julio, but just as he shots, someone hits Garido from behind with a stick. We see the bottom hem of either a skirt or a cloak. Julio runs toward Garido, stands over him, and just then, the stranger appears. The camera pans upward and we see who it is. Thank goodness we don’t have to wait until Monday to see who shot him, it's Cristina!!!!!

Thanks for the recap cathyx!!

One little detail I noticed - Doctor Lazaro saw Isabel touching Julio's hand when they were out in the garden, so he probably knows there's something going on with them. That man is everywhere and sees everything!

Little disappointed that Julio didn't say Te amo back...

Anyone else a little annoyed by the ever-changing opening credits based on which minor characters are actually in the episode? It basically spoiled this episode for me since Ximena Herrera was added so it was kind of obvious that Cristina would appear at some point. Oh well, guess I need to stop watching the intro.

J, we were talking about the spoilers in the opening a couple of days ago, a few of us vowed to not watch them or talk about them anymore.

Cathyx- Yay! I was waiting for your great recap. Thank you.

Cristina is back! (J- I ffwd through the intro now. Best way to go if you don't want spoilers.) This is going to shake a lot of things ups.

I believe Cris hit Garrido on the head with a log, not shoot him. But I only watched the scene once, so I could be wrong.

Anyone else think that Belen is going to give her new bestie Violeta a cup of "special" tea, that will end with Violeta having a miscarriage?

I'm shocked that Cristina has appeared. I figured we wouldn't see her for a long time. I guess Julio won't be testifying after all, and Diego gets free. Will Isabel now have to be betrothed to him again?

Vivi, I just rewatched that scene. Yes, it was a stick she hit him with, I thought it looked like he got shot in the back, but when she was revealed, she did drop a stick. I'll go change my recap.

I was also surprised that the General stood up for Mercedes, but also how astute he was about both his daughters, and their flaws and virtues (with Eugenia's virtues being more about her appearance than her personality). He was right on point!

Elisa having a tantrum about Alfredo's new spine was hilarious. I can't help but be sad for how devastated he'll be when he learns that Sofia and Teresa have been lying to him about the baby. It will prove Elisa right in his eyes.

I believe it was the laundry/ironing room where Andres was showing Violeta how to stoke the fire for the iron stove, and then Belen had to teach her how to iron-- something she never learned in the brothel.

I hadn't thought that Belen would give the herbal tea to Violeta, but it makes sense that she would. Teresa will know exactly what happened if she pulls that.

This is great cathyx. Thanks bunches.

"Ok, splash the cold water on us all after that love scene"

I never watch the intro. I want to be surprised and that conk on the head by Cristina surprised me.

I don't know what to believe. I was open to the possibility Diego was not a murderer and then he sends Garrido to kill the witness.

Julio would have to declare his real identity if he was a witness against Diego. Though the state believes him dead, he is not so a fugitive. Right to jail he would go. Not necessary now.

Why was Isabel gushing about Julio kissing her she laid one on him.

Loved Alfredo thanking his mother for giving him the push to become independent of her. Not her intent but it was for his own good.

Damn, Belen just had to hear the baby plan.

Poor Violeta, how intently she watched Belen instruct her how to iron.

If Belen does get rid of Violeta's baby, and Teresa gets mad, it doesn't matter. Belen would have them (Sofia and Teresa) in her hands. Not only does she know that Teresa wants her baby, now she knows why. She could start blackmailing them now, even without harming Violeta's baby. But I'm sure she wants HER spawn to be the heir to not only the Alarcon wealth, but also the Vergara wealth. That would be a lifelong source of blackmail money from Sofia and Teresa.

I won't be surprised if Belen has much to do with Cristina's situation.

I don't think Belen would abort the child, hers nor Violeta's, Before Andres offered to marry her and Teresa offered to buy the baby Belen was packed and ready to leave. I do think she has every intention of staying around, wants a bigger check and probably Diego.

She kind of had to be packed. She had been fired and it's not like she has a choice to stay if she's kicked out. No, don't think she has plans to abort her baby, if it means ties to Diego, and now a source of blackmail money. But abort Violeta's baby? Hell yeah, I think she'd do it.

Thank you so much, Cathyx

Didn't Belen already take the Rue?

So glad to see Cristina alive, I like the actress. It appears she has been keeping an eye on Julio.

Variopinta- She kept it. She didn't ingest it.

So she gives it to Violeta,
then they will have to pretend that Belen's baby is Violetas to pacify Sofia.

I think that would be too many women needing to fake a pregnancy. If Violeta loses her baby, Sofia's just going to have to suck it up and accept Belen/Diego's baby, if she doesn't want to lose her husband.

Great recap cathyx and what a way to end a Friday!. Goodness, as if we weren't sold enough on this show, they leave us antsy over a weekend.

You know, Teresa could have left well enough alone. So we don't need your baby Belen...have a nice day and go marry Andres. Why offer a way to abort? Now Belen is never one to go quietly, so I'm sure she will offer the stuff to poor Vio. What I hope is someone, anyone, stops it all before Vio can take it. Strangely, this baby is her way out of the horror of her former life. No baby, she's back to that in a heartbeat.

And Jacinto is getting on my last nerve. Lord, he's so full of himself.

Isa and Julio are sweet together. With the appearance of Cristina, it solves Julio's issue, he doesn't testify which means he can keep his true identity under wraps for now, but I'm sure his sister is going to open now a whole new can of worms that will involve the lovebirds.

Still frustrated with the character of Eugenia. THough I loved her father's little lecture, I don't see why we need this distraction in the tale. Sophia's story ties into the whole hotel and intrigue of Teresa and her machinations...not so much with the Felipe tale of the two sisters. I see we are getting stories for each sibling, and the actor playing Felipe is doing a great job, but I'm lost why we need this little smug heiress unless it's to bring the downfall of Felipe or send him away from the hotel.

And Alfredo's spine grew three sizes that day...Oh how I wish Sophia would tell him what her mother is doing to her. He loves her so much, it's so apparent, and I would hate to see them broken because of that old witch and her greed.

I think Belen has no other option than to make Violeta drink the rue tea.
The doctor mentioned a trip that Sofia will be going on. I hope she takes that before Belen could do anything to Violeta.

Thanks Cathyx. Loved the recap.

Am I the only one who thinks that Belen (my auto correct changed the name to Palin) was genuinely upset about the idea of terminating her pregnancy? And not because her meal ticket would be gone.

So excited to see Cristina!

Nanette

Cristina is going to be a game changer for sure. Now we'll finally get to know what's what. Can't wait to hear the story.

Nanette, so funny about your auto correct.

Nanette- I was conned into thinking that Belen has genuine feelings before when I thought she truly appreciated Andres. Then we saw her mock him to Diego. So, I'm going to hold out on making any assumptions that she has any genuine maternal feelings for her baby.

I'll bite Nanette and think Belen was upset and I don't think she was considering it before when Diego demanded she terminate the pregnancy. Now, it could be her expectations were riding high and Teresa smashed those or how humiliating that someone can demand she abort. The whole class thing must sting for all the staff when a haughty woman can hand rue, a check and command you to terminate a pregnancy.

Last night's spoiler for me wasn't the intro, but the subtitles. Sometimes it gives me a glimpse into the next scene and there was no dialogue for a good long time while Julio was walking along the trail. The whole time the text showed "Julio: Cristina!"

I'm getting better at picking up details each week - been more than 20 years since my last Spanish class! This blog has been a massive help! Thanks for the recaps!

I know what you mean, Jamie. My closed captioning does the same, and it was quite a while between when the word Cristina popped up and when she actually appeared. You'd think they would get the timing better when there are pauses in the dialogue. CC is often off on Univision though, usually it's 3 seconds too slow so I can't actually read and listen at the same time which is so frustrating.

Vivi: I agree that the Belen is insincere. Frankly, she's not really a very nice person, for the most part. However when she broke down she was alone and she doesn't seem to me to be the type of person who fools herself. She also seems the type that would get angry with that kind of situation. I can see her crying tears out of frustration or anger, but that's not what it looked like it was to me.

Jamie- Welcome! I haven't seen you here before, but hope to see you again. That's really unfortunate about the ccs. I don't mess with them, but that gives me yet another reason to not use them.

I do think it's interesting that at the same time the writers confirm to us that Diego didn't kill Cris, they show us he doesn't have a problem at all killing people or having people killed (if him shooting Pascual to "protect" Isabel didn't convince us). Who else has he killed or had killed because they stood in his way? Don't think he's the killer of the stabbed women, but I'm sure he has a lot of skeletons in his closet.

Good point Vivi. He did murder Pascual. He could have told Pascual to drop the knife before he shot him. He didn't give him a chance. And ordering Garrido to kill Julio makes him just as guilty of murder as Garrido killing him.

Thanks for the recap. It is indeed very useful specially on tuesdays, wednesdays and fridays, when I only get whatever I can during commercial breaks from Chicago fire, PD and the Blue bloods. Anyway, last friday I flipped on time to see Christina's face before the credits.

This was a good friday ending, and since Univisión claims this is not a novela but a ''uniserie'', maybe this was the season finale and next monday we will enter to a second season, with new plotholes and twists.

I want to see if every piece of the puzzle fits or they send some things to the back burner to focus more on Christina and her version of what we all already saw.

I'd have been better, I think, if they hadn't show her face, only her name like if Julio was not sure it was her, just to add more expectation over the weekend. Now we would be guessing if it was really hr or not, anyway, she got a lotta 'splainin to do!

cathyx--Brilliant work. Thank you for crafting a really good read. Your asides reflect exactly what I'm thinking, hmmm.

(insert heavy breathing here) Mmmmm, standing closer than 40 cm.
(I know I’m oohing and awwing a lot, but it was so nice) Mmmm, kissing
Ok, splash the cold water on us all -- Oh, yes, darn
(ok, I wasn’t going to recap his exact words, but after hearing them, they turned out to be so good, I have to now.) El Generalissimo; actually I have to thank you for the translation because I didn't catch it all
(ok, that was weird and creepy) Speaking of weird and creepy, this is not a horror show, it's a mystery and suspense show. If that was suspense, that scene with Alfredo getting home went on for far too long.

Interesting discussion on what will motivate Belen's actions in the next week (she'd better hurry or she'll start showing). She had developed her own scenario when she "claimed" Andres in front of Violeta by announcing they were novios AND expecting. At that moment she was sure of her future. After listening at the door, surprised and mad. After Teresa's visit, she will need to rethink things: get rid of her own baby to insure her survival at the hotel or by getting rid of Violeta's.

Belen seems just the sort of person who thinks she thinks better than anyone. Vivi's idea of her playing off the Alarcons AND the Vergaras AND the Gomez-Salina mother-son duo would be just what she would figure out.

What we can't be certain about is what she had been planning to do about the inconvenient pregnancy after Diego rebuffed her and fired her. Teresa intervened before we got her decision. All we know is she was leaving. Surely most women in those days "knew" about ways of terminating a pregnancy. DT offered her a very plausible way out that did not leave her without employment and preserved her reputation (not completely intact, but getting a young man to marry her for the baby's sake) AND not having to deal with a live baby afterwards.

We can only wait and see.

Thanks, Anita, for an excellent recap. I am so glad that Cristina popped up and cannot wait to hear what happened to her from her own mouth. Should be good!

OT: just saw "Busco novio para mi mujer": plenty of laughs with Arath de la Torre playing a wimpy schmuck who wants out of an unhappy marriage so he hires legendary lover (???) Jesús Ochoa to seduce her.

Jarifa--This recap was brought to you >>Fanfare<< by Cathyx. (But thanks for the nod.)

Jarifa
What channel & time is Busco novio on? I can't find it in my TV listings

Thank you Anita. Yes, what Belen will do next will be interesting. And now that Cristina has surfaced, Julio could go home, but I somehow doubt it, lol. Will Ayala still want to imprison him?

Sorry, thank you, Cathyx! The recap was excellent!! Maybe there were some wrongs done to Cristina that Julio will help right! Payback time? Keeps the plot going? Will she be able to provide Ayala with some interesting info? And we have to wait until tomorrow . . .

Variopinta, wish I could help but "Busco un novio" just opened at movie theaters on Friday. I should have mentioned that.

I do want to see that film.

Gracias for this recap; I was crazed this weekend and got to the party late.

In the US during this period I think most pregnant single girls who had no family ended up in "homes" where they stayed until they gave birth and the babies were kept in orphanages until they were adopted out. Some placed them with baby farmers sometimes to a tragic end. If this practice occurred in Mexico, Belen could have ended up doing precisely this.

Super late to the party but very thankful for the fab recap! You did this eventful episode justice! Muchas gracias, Cathyx!

When Cristina showed up I felt vindicated: "I knew it!" :D

Love this show! I don't consider it the regular TN fare but it's a beautifully executed series with a fantastic cast and superior dialogue. Our Spanish is benefitting a great deal from this series.

Have a great start to the week, everyone! Thanks for the insightful comments! Thanks for joining us, Jamie! :)

Nandicta: "Our Spanish is benefitting a great deal from this series."--I've commented before how I'm understanding more in this TN than any other I've seen.

I have to say something about the Belen eavesdropping scene. Serioulsy, Teresa and Sofia know that Belen can't be trusted and neither one bothered to see if she was listening at the door?!

Nanette- I love the list. This line made me chuckle most: "Eugenia’s tempting Felipe’s wanderlust." :)

Vivi: Can't take credit for that idea. I stole it from you. :)

Nanette--More gems posted. They all just gleamed. FIRST KISS. I noticed the emphasis!!! Then came CRISTINA. We've all been waiting for that one. I hope tonight we get to hear some of her story. Remember Isa was following Julio at a short distance behind, so I hope she gets to hear what Cristina has to say, too.

Still haven't seen this one, because I spent the weekend working and watching the last few episodes of Velvet (Spanish drama set in a fashion house in Madrid in the late 1950s...recommend it even though the main couple are really kind of awful). Thanks so much for the recap...sounds like a juicy one! I must watch tonight.

So theoretically, if Cristina is alive and found perhaps Julio would be done here and could leave...but somehow I think he'll find an excuse to stay ;). And not just because of Isabel. Someone did harm or attempt to harm Cristina; they'll probably want to follow through on trying to get some justice. Plus there are the other murders, and Ayala thought Julio was a natural at detective work, so maybe he'll stay and join the force? Or look in to the various shenanigans at the hotel? With the stress of Cristina missing likely over, and not longer facing the appalling thought of marriage to Diego, maybe Isabel will start wondering about the state of the hotel's finances and Diego's mysterious ability to fix things.

Or maybe not. Julio and Isabel could get in a stupid fight and he could storm away and have an affair with some other doctor woman in the jungle (wait; that was another show). But where would Julio even go? What is the current state of the mining town that was attacked? Somehow I doubt he wants to go anywhere near the brothel he escaped. Maybe he could talk Andres into going on the run with him. It would be like the two buddies in LQLVMR.

One thing, really just one thing, that I found that makes this TN easier to recap is the lack of slang. The only slang that's really been used is by Garrido and Melibea. Otherwise, I can look all the words up that I don't know and they're usually in my dictionary. Yay!

Cathyx- They made a point this episode of showing the difference between the way the folks from the cantina/brothel talk and the proper way even all the servants at the hotel speak, when Violeta's speech kept getting corrected. Poor girl wasn't having a good day.

Thank you, Cathyx! Especially thanks for the General's speech, because it was really beautiful. I really shouldn't like him (demanding a duel with Felipe??), but he won me over with that speech.

I'm sorry I didn't drop by sooner, but boy oh boy was this an episode or what??

I too skipped the intro credits only to be spoiled by a premature CC announcing Cristina's arrival. Alas, even though it was on the screen for a good couple of minutes I was too tired to understand its significance. (I thought it was a line that had been dropped/cut, or maybe a misplaced caption-poop or fragment, like he was just going to call her name in frustration, like "Cristina, I'm going to get you some justice today!")

Even as I saw the hem of her skirt, I was thinking it was a cloak... must be Dr. Lazaro. LOL.

Well, I assume we'll hear her story tonight. There's nothing like a big texty blob of backstory, not my favorite thing to recap because it's so easy to miss little juicy chunks. I hope I can do it justice.

Thanks Vivi and Anita for your kind words re: the list.

Good recap Cathyx, thank you. She hit him with a stick, a big stick. Im glad the bullet did
Not hit him. Since shes not dead diego can
Get outta jail, unless he murdered someone
Else. And he may have. Hes creepy.

They should open a home for preganat girls.
that would be creepy because they want to take those girls babies. These people is sick.
The mystery behind the disappearance of his
Sister is gotta be a doozy. This is a good who
Done it mystery, only it should be who done what......to Who.
I haven't been watching this very much lately but it got kind of interesting when I found out that his sister was still alive, so that's a really pretty good mystery.I'm really anxious to see why she's alive when people thought she was dead. And why in world would she hop in the sack with creepy diego?
