Caray, Caray!

Last recap for Lichita. Thanks everyone for making this a fun experience once again! Until next time!

This was a long episode with much going on so lets jump right in!

For a person who just got arrested, Roberto seems very calm. Only when Augusto walks into the API office with his tsk tsk attitude did Roberto throw a disgusted glance his way. The API trio are shocked that corruption befell them and ask the wrong person (Augusto) how this could have happened. Augusto fishes for clues and asks if the API trio have another suspect/fall guy in mind. These dunces think this was a one man show and regret that Augusto moved on from API.

Valeria and Luciana discuss the epic attack Augusto faced from the exes...Val, Bea and Sandra. More surprising to Valeria was Alicia defending and supporting Augusto. She just cannot understand since Alicia was raised in such a nice family. Luciana is not so understanding and believes that Malicia is just plain deceitful, horrible person. On to more important topics....Luci confides in Val about the suspiciousness of her father's (Rafael's) death. Luci has a hunch that Augusto has something to do with it. They both confront Dafne when they realize she was the last one who spoke to Rafael before he died.




Sandra tells Fatima she returned to Iconika for revenge against Augusto. It was not easy for her to check her pride and work for Alicia....but at least thats better than returning to work directly with Augusto. Sandra, slowly shedding her Godzilla personality, worries for both Alicia and the future of Iconika.

Alicia gushes over the news of Brisa's recent engagement. They quickly switch to more important news which is Alicia's "plan". Brisa does not think this is a good idea but promises not to tell another soul about her real intentions. Augusto interrupts their moment rather rudely by barreling through the not so secret door.

Happy Augusto smiling ear to ear is a weird phenomenon and somewhat disconcerting. Anyway, we all know why he is in a good mood (he continues to win at life despite his despicable ways).  He presents Alicia with a big whopping ring that looks very similar to the one Luciana stole. Alicia questions whether he is proposing marriage or something. Nope...its just a gift. And Augusto is full of them today. He informs her of Roberto's fall...he is not arrested and will go to jail for a loong time. Now he can repay for all the lies he told to them. Alicia questions that Augusto must have done something for this to happen because no one goes to jail for only telling lies. Unsurprisingly, he does no dish out any more details.

Dafne gets interrogated by Val and Luci about Rafael's final hours. She recalls him getting a strange phone call from Argentina which made him turn serious. After that she excused herself...and yes she noted that the pill box was with him at the time.

The police let Roberto use his one phone call which he uses to call Gumaro.  He lets Gumaro know he his back in jail and they need to activate his plan for Mateo's escape. Cue flashback to Roberto and Mateo meticulously going  over the grand escape plan. Mateo will pretend that he is a stomach ache and beg his caretaker to take him to the nearest hospital. At the hospital, he will pretend to need to use the restroom and make his escape with Gumaro from there. Gumaro wonders how he will carryout this grand plan if Draco continuously breathes down his neck.

Augusto visits Roberto in prison for no other reason but to taunt him.  He offers Roberto another deal and will help him by escaping prison (i missed how this benefits Augusto in any way so please fill in details). Roberto has no other choice but to accept the proposal. Augusto purposefully lets it slip that he too just wants to leave everything behind and start a new life/family with Alicia. She is just like him in terms of ambition...maybe even worse.

At Iconika, Luciana overhears the receptionists talking about Alicia's relationship with Augusto.  She storms into Alica's office and goes off on her for being a  "trepadora", she just does not understand how Roberto could fall in love with such a person. Alicia rolls her eyes having been down this road a thousand times with her. She talks code to Luciana about protecting Roberto in her own way and drops other hints but this just confuses Luciana. Alicia also returns the big old duke's ring to Luciana (we see that she remembers this ring from a conversion with Dafne in the early days when Alicia was Lichita) who is flabbergasted wondering if this is all a setup.

Fatima checks on Alicia who is having a colossal headache with all that is going on. She praises Alicia for all her accomplishments and how she now stands up for herself. All the same, Alicia worries that she is more "Malicia" than "Lichita" (did not catch this but it may have to do with the fact of how far she is willing to go to get info from Augusto??).

Val and Luciana are at the mansion packing...Val is happy to hear that Luciana will return the ring back to the Duke. By tomorrow Luci will be at the beach with her dear Gummy. Luciana wants to let Augusto know all the negative feelings she has towards him before they leave but Val does not think this is a good idea.

It's Magos first day of work and she is nowhere to be seen at the breakfast table. Nacho think she is sleeping in already setting a bad example but Ximena corrects him. Magos woke up early to help Ximena get ready and also prepared her lunch. Magos comes out with a "new look". Looks like she took a page for her sister, Alicia. At work she proves to be professional with the customers on the phone....all for her little one.

Luciana likes to barge into office and go off on rants. Today it is Augusto's turn. She's livid that Roberto is in jail. She also drops the bomb that she knows he killed Rafael and she has evidence (now why would you go and say all that??). When she mentions the pill box, Augusto laughs since he knows that is nothing. Luciana wants to know for real if he killed Rafael...there are no witnesses here anyway. He admits it and there is nothing she can do about it. Luciana also admits that Roberto is not the father of her child but Gumaro instead. They continue to bicker until Luciana feels ill and faints.

Escape plan is in action. Mateo tells the nanny that he does not feel well and Draco escorts him to the hospital. The doctor finds nothing wrong with Mateo and believes it was something he ate. At this time, Mateo makes a fuss about going to the bathroom. Draco wants to follow him but Mateo does not want anyone watching him do his business (Mateo 1, Draco 0).  When he reaches the bathroom he cannot find Gumaro (in another scene Gumaro shows up at the hospital and bumps into Draco. He suddenly gets a call from Val informing him of Luciana's fainting spell. With some deliberation on what to do he rushes over). Mateo remembers his dad telling him to be brave and he ventures outside the hospital to search for Gumaro.


Meanwhile, Alicia visits Augusto's penthouse feigning a surprise visit. When she asks about Mateo the nanny informs her that he at the hospital with Draco. Alica gives her well wishes and makes her promise not to tell Augusto about her surprise visit.

Luciana and Val are at the hospital speaking with the doctor. Luciana has an increased risk of having a miscarriage which sends Gumaro into a frenzy.

Mateo now starts to panic since he cannot find Gumaro or his dad. He bumps into random strangers and almost injures himself trying to cross the road. That is until Alicia bumps into him. She takes him to her parents house since he will be safe from Augusto there. Ximena and Mateo bond.

Draco reports back to Augusto of Mateo's disappearance. Augusto believes that Gumaro has something to do with it but Draco does not believe so. Draco continues to search the hospital while Gumaro has several nearly missed run in as he too searches for Mateo.

UrbanO toy compay did not like the presentation given by Iconika. Alicia this time could not convince her way and he decides to see what other companies have to offer. She tells the team not to worry...she knows they worked hard and they cannot always win. That is until Augusto comes in and hears the news. He makes fun of and disses everyone that part of the meeting. He yells at Alicia to meet in his office. There he returns to normal and says that he needs to restructure the company. And its gonna start now. Augusto drags her to the receptionist area where everyone gathers. He tells the employees that there are in a restructuring phase and some people will get fired. Alicia gets to do the honors. She chooses 3 random but poor souls to leave this instant. Augusto mentions Sandra and Chuchette...Alicia holds on to the two with the excuse that they are involved in key projects. Augusto warns that this is just the beginning.

Roberto demands the cop driving to inform him where they are going. He does not respond. Eventually the drop him off in the middle of nowhere and tell him to make a run for it. They hand him his phone and drive away. He first calls Gumaro to see if there plan worked. He is sure that Augusto has custody of Mateo again.

Alicia finds out what happened to Luciana from Brisa. She then goes to the hospital to check on her. Val wants them to make amends and Luciana to dish the whole truth. Gumaro rushes in to inform them all of Roberto's escape. We end the episode of Alicia figuring out that the bun in the oven is not Roberto's but Gumaro's.
