Pasion y Poder #134 The Cat's Out of the Bag! Finally! Wednesday 4-27-2016

Lo Nuevo

Art wants to get back together with Julia but Julia is not sure. I guess she's confused again. She says she's scared of their love.

David is back from working on the Rivera Maya project and visiting Eladio at the GL mansion. David says that the people from the Rivera Maya are going to be giving them a public recognition for their work. Eladio doesn't want to be included because it was all of David's work. He also thinks that Julia will be very proud of him. David asks his father if he's seen Julia. Eladio says he has not seen her because he is keeping his promise to not look for her (unlike some people) even though he is dying because he misses Julia like nothing else in the world.

Art tells Julia that they deserve an opportunity to fulfill what they could not so many years ago. Julia is hesitant and says she is not sure because in her own space (her apartment) she has felt really good, without any pressures, without having to make any decisions. Art interrupts her and tells her that they don't know if it will work. That Eladio no longer stands between them, but now it is only Julia's fear that separates them. He tells her to think about it. He doesn't need an answer right now. He thinks they can still be happy together. He leaves her apartment.

Eladio tells David that if he is convinced that Regina is not going to get back together with him, then he should go on with his life. David tells his father that he needs to do the same thing if Julia decides to move on with someone else. Eladio says that his case is different, but that David is successful and young and has done things the right way. He deserves to find love so he shouldn't give up. David's phone rings and it's Gaby. David knows something is up. Eladio wants to know if something is wrong. David says that Gaby wants to see him and that he will see his father at work the next day and leaves the mansion. Eladio doesn't look convinced.

Gina brings dinner to Nina in Dani's old bedroom. Nina says she is going to go eat downstairs in the dining room. Gina is thrilled. Nina tells her that she wants to take her life back little by little, including going to her grandchild's birthday party. Gina says that it will make everyone happy. Nina tells Gina that it makes her happy to have a daughter like her.

David arrives at Gaby's house while she is icing her face. (Why she is still there?) She tells him that Franco hit her and he asks if Franco is still in the house. Franco comes into the room and David gives him a well deserved and long awaited punch in the face. The half brothers start yelling at each other and are about to fight but Gaby breaks it up. David tells Franco that he won't ever touch Gaby again. Franco tries to explain himself by telling David that he hasn't been as desperate as Franco has. David tells him there is no justification for what he did, and from that moment he doesn't want anything to do with him. Franco tells him that this is betwen him and Gaby and that he already asked for forgiveness and everything is OK between them. David tells Gaby that he will take her so that she can press charges against Franco. He asks her to listen to him because she can't leave things the way they are. Franco convinces Gaby and she tells David that she does not want to go to the police station. David can't believe it but tells her that it is her decision and leaves. Franco wants to know why Gaby called David. Does she want the whole world to know about their problems? Gaby sarcastically answers back wanting to know if Franco is going to hit her again. Franco tells her that it's her fault that their marriage is falling apart and then leaves.

Gina and David are in the hallway of Connie's apartment building. They are alone and talk about the Rivera Maya project. David asks how she is doing. She says she is finally accepting what happened, and that it's been hard for the whole family, and for David she assumes. David would like to do something to make her feel better. All of a sudden they embrace each other. After a few seconds Nina comes out into the hallway and sees them before they break apart. Nina asks if David is coming to the party. He says he is there to pick up Justino. Nina would like for him to stay, for everything he did for her daughter. Nina will always see David as part of the family because he did alot for Dani and loved her. David thanks Nina. Gina and Nina go into the apartment to tell Justino that David is there to pick him up. Justino says goodbye and leaves. Connie asks why David didn't come in. Nina tells her that he was in a hurry, but that he sends his regards. Nina thinks that David looked sad. Clarita takes Nina into the bedroom to help with EJ. Connie and Gina are left alone and Connie asks if Gina if she is OK. Gina doesn't want her mom to know, but she feels like she is suffocating. When she saw David all her feelings and love for him came rushing back. But then her mother brings up Dani and the guilt is suffocating her. She doesn't know what to do.

Art shows up at Julia's apartment, AGAIN. (They must be BFF's or something) He brings her a gift. It's the plans to a dream house they had planned on constructing 20+ years ago. Art wants them to live there if they get back together. Hummy is thrilled. He probably thinks there is a father-in-law suite in those plans.

Eladio calls David into his office. He wants to know why David went way over budget on the Rivera Maya project. 40% over budget to be exact. There will be no profits. David is totally confused.

Julia can't believe that those plans are the same ones from so long ago. Hummy leaves Julia and Art alone to talk. Julia is thrilled that they will be able to complete the dream they had for so many years. Art is happy too.

David tells his father that something is wrong. According to David he didn't use all of the budgeted money on the project, in fact he saved some money. Eladio shows him the numbers. David wants to study the numbers and then talk with Eladio because he is 100% sure that he didn't spend that much money. Eladio hopes there was an error and comments that if Marcos was wrong, then that's enough to fire him.

Nina, Gina and Jorge arrive at the Montenegro mansion after the party. Nina goes upstairs to rest. Gina and Jorge sit and talk. She says she is tired. She can't stand to see her mother depressed. She hates that chimp boy is a problem in stead of being supportive. She needs some breathing room. He asks her to marry him. She says yes. They kiss.

David and Justino are looking over the budget numbers and they don't add up. Justino thinks Franco did it because he hates him and wants him out of the company. David thinks it's more than that. Justino thinks that Franco manipulated Marcos to alter the numbers because they are the ones that handle the company money. David doesn't think that Franco would steal money from himself because Franco owns shares in the company. Justino tells him that he heard them talking about a money trade (un desvio de dinero) and buying company shares.

Nina tells Gina that seeing her grandson made her realize that she could be missing out on alot of things. She also knows that Dani wouldn't want her to do that. Dani loved living intensely. Gina says she's right and tells her mother that Jorge asked her to marry him and she accepted. Nina is happy for her and tells her that she has to find happiness wherever she can find it. They hug it out.

Art and Julia are kissing at her doorstep. His phone rings. Gina tells him that she is getting married. He congratulates her and tells her he just wants her to be happy. He hangs up the phone and tells Julia that Gina is marrying Jorge. Julia says she is happy for Gina, but looks like she wants to puke. Art kisses her goodbye and leaves.

It's a late night at GLA and Justino and David are still going through the numbers. David tells him to go home to be with his family. Justino knows something else is going on with David. David tells him that he saw Gina when he went to pick him up at Connie's. Not one day goes by that he doesn't think about her. He hasn't stopped loving her and all these months that he was away were a waste of time. He could not and will never forget her. That's what's going on.

The next day Julia is at GLA to see David and runs into Eladio. He asks how she is. She says she is there to speak with David. He takes the opportunity to tell Julia that it doesn't make sense for him to continue living alone in the GL mansion. She tells him he can sell the house if he wants. He says he can't sell it because he built that house for her, and it belongs to her. He asks her if she realizes that in an instant she can make him the happiest of men, or the most miserable. With just one look she can ignite his passion and with that same look she can take away his power. She's about to say something but David interrupts them. Eladio leaves so Julia and David can talk. Julia knows David is busy, but she wants to talk. She asks him to go to her apartment and she will cook for him. He says he will, but not today because he is too busy. She tells him that Gina is going to get married. She tells him that it's not too late and advises him to go and talk with Gina.

A drunk Chimp boy is saying goodbye to a friend on the streets of the city. Pedro shows up demanding more money. Chimp boy says that at this point in his life he can't be giving money away, so Pedro better step off.

Jorge surprises Gina in the Montenegro mansion garden with some balloons and the engagement ring. At this same time David has arrived. He argues with Petra about where Gina is. She accidently tells him not to go to the garden. He goes to the garden just in time to see and hear Jorge propose to Gina. She accepts and they kiss. David calls out Gina's name and they turn to see David.

Pedro threatens to tell Connie and Art about everything chimp boy has done. CB doesn't think they are going to believe Pedro. Pedro brings up the magazine articles he's been reading about Connie and ...but CB grabs him by the collar before he can keep talking. He tells Pedro to mind his own business. He tells him he gave him enough money the first time and that he doesn't want to hear from him again. If he does he will have someone eliminate him, and he knows that CB has the power to do so. He will make him disappear without a trace.

Gina was not expecting David. David comes up with the excuse that Nina had some things for him that were Dani's. Jorge tells him to get his things inside. David tells him not to worry, he knows when he's not wanted. He apologizes for interrupting their romantic moment and leaves. Gina apologizes to Jorge for the interruption. Jorge thinks it's better that David knows about their engagement. Jorge tells Gina that she won't be sorry, he is going to make her very happy.

Caridad tells Franco that he has a visitor. It's Pedro. Franco has been ignoring his phone calls. They are about to go to Franco's office when Eladio comes out and asks Franco for some paperwork. Pedro is about to explain to Eladio why he is there. When Pedro mentions that he was contracted for some work Eladio tells him to talk to Franco because he (Franco) is in charge of contracts. Eladio leaves. Pedro tells Franco that he can let Eladio know what's really going on at any given moment. Franco wants to know what Pedro wants. Like always, Pedro wants money. Franco better have some soon or deal with the consequences.

Eladio is now at home when Julia comes to see him. She has come to personally tell him that she is officially going out with Art.

At the Montenegro mansion the family is having dinner, including Art, Nina, Gina, Jorge, Connie, Miguel, and Jorge's parents. Jorge asks Art for Gina's hand in marriage. Art accepts.

Eladio wants to know why. Julia says because that's the choice she made. He wants to know the principal reason why. She says because she is good with him. (She does not say she is with Art because she loves him) Because everytime she remembers Eladio, evertime she is with Eladio she remembers everything he did to her. She pictures him with Caridad and she keeps seeing her in his office and she just can't. She still holds alot of resentment toward him because of all his lies and she wouldn't be able to live with him like that. She no longer trusts him. Eladio wipes the tears from his face and tells her that she is doing to him what she did to Art. He says she is doing this out of revenge. Julia denies it and says it is different. Eladio is talking about when Art got another woman pregnant, but he never had her as his permanent lover. Art never brought Julia his son so she could raise him. Eladio tells Julia that she is totally right, but he says that whatever Julia says he knows that it hurts Julia. And the only explanation he can find is that she loves him. She wipes away her tears and says there's no reason to argue over it because she already made her decision. A loud bang is heard, then we see that David is banging on the wall as he comes in the room. He's pissed at his mother for the advice she gave him. He feels like a fool. He went to talk to Gina and walked in on Jorge proposing to her, and she accepted.

Nina wishes Dani were with the family. Art is sure she would do what he is about to do. He gets up from his chair and proposes a toast. At that moment chimp boy makes a loud appearance. He wants to toast his hypocritical family. He insinuates that Nina is not happy about Gina marrying a poor guy like Jorge.

David wants to leave town. Julia tells him to think about it. He left for months and it didn't work because he still loves Gina. Julia is sure that Gina loves him too. David tells her that Gina is going to get married, she is engaged, does Julia understand that? Eladio tells David to stop talking to his mother in that loud tone, and that running away doesn't solve anything. David says he's not running away. He is just putting space between them to give him time to heal. David tells his father that he should do the same. He apologizes, but he is only being truthful. Eladio agrees, especially now that......"sorry, does David know?" asks Eladio of Julia. David wants to know what's going on. Julia tells him that her relationship with Art is now official. David tells her that now she's done it. He can't believe that she told him to look for Gina. Did she think Gina was going to get back with him under these circumstances? David tells Julia that he is not with the love of his life because of her damn relationship with Art. Eladio has no physically calm David down. It looks like he's about to have a nervous breakdown. He tells Julia to do whatever she wants with her life because he could care less. David leaves the house.

Art drags chimp boy out of the dining room, but his insults about Connie can still be heard. Gina yells at him. CB comes back and says that everyone but Jorge knows that the one Gina wants to marry is David Gomez Luna. Art takes CB out into the foyer. Jorge says the important thing is that he and Gina are getting married, then thinks it best that he and his parents leave.

Julia thinks it was the worst time to tell David about her "official" relationship with Art. Eladio says that's why he asked her. He didn't say anything, Julia is the one who told David. She says that David is very hurt because of what's happening with Gina. She wanted to tell him under different circumstances. Eladio says it doesn't change things. Either way she is still with Art, and David was going to react the same. She's going to wait for David to calm down so she can explain. "Explain what?" says Eladio. He thinks David is right. They are waisting time talking about it. He grabs her face with both of his hands and tells her, "Honestly, honestly, if you already decided with whom to spend your life with, go ahead. I hope you will be happy. I am telling you with all my heart." He kisses her hand and wishes her well. He sits down and picks up his drink to toast to her. He opens his book and starts to read. She walks up to him and grabs his drink. She tells him that she wishes things had come out differently. She takes a drink, says goodbye and leaves. He wishes her happiness...lots of happiness.

Pedro shows up at the Montenegro mansion. Nina wants to know what he wants with Erick. He says it's about this and shows her some jewelry. She instantly recognozes them as her own.

Gaby is at home when the phone rings. It's Franco saying that he won't be going home because of work, but we see that he is at Marintia's apartment. She thinks he needs a more original excuse. Then little Mateo makes his presence known and starts crying. Gaby hears him and wants to know what's going on.

Nina wants to call the police. Pedro tells her that chimp boy gave him the jewels and if she wants to know why she's going to have to pay up. She tells him that he can keep the jewels, but she wants to know what's going on. Pedro tells her that chimp boy is the one who kidnapped his own son.

Franco gets away with another one by saying that he went out for some food and there is a family with a baby. Gaby hopes he finishes soon with his work and thanks him for letting her know he was working late.

Nina walks into chimp boys room while he is sleeping. She throws water on him to wake him up. She tells him that she knows everything about the kidnapping. He pleads stupidity. Gina comes in wanting to know what's going on. Nina shows them a ring she had given chimp boy for EJ's rescue. She says she got it from chimp boys accomplice and he told Nina everything. Chimp boy swears it's all a lie. Nina is totally disappointed in chimp boy. She should have let the police put him in prison. And look at him now, does he want to end up like his sister? CB blames Nina for everything because she didn't know how to be a mother. Nina slaps the chimp across the face. Gina tells him to shut up. Nina warns him to give custody of EJ to Connie or she will turn him into the police. He agrees, but asks then not to make this bigger than it is. Nina now has no doubt that the chimp raped Connie, and she doesn't want to think about what other horrible things he has done. She tells him to leave. Gina hugs her mother.

The next day Marintia and Mateo are at Caridad's house. Marintia is saying that she is not going to end up like Caridad because Franco already told her that he is getting a divorce very soon. Franco told her that he can't stand Gaby anymore, and that he is going to leave her to be with Marintia and their son. Caridad says that she wishes her grandson was always with his father, but...and in walks Gaby who has heard everything that Marintia just said. "So you knew everything Caridad?" says Gaby. "You lied to me, you lied to me Caridad." "So Franco is your baby's daddy?" asks Gaby of Marintia. Caridad tells her no and to calm down. Gaby tells Caridad not to touch her. She just heard everything. Marintia wants to stay with her husband. Caridad tells her that she heard wrong. Gaby tells her to stop lying. Marintia doesn't leave the baby with Caridad because they are friends, it's because he is her grandson.

Nina calls Connie to GM. Nina apologizes to Connie for treating her so badly and blindly supporting the chimp. Nina tells Connie that the chimp will hand over custody of EJ to her that same day. The chimp comes into the office and tells Connie that she got her way this time but not for long.

Caridad wants to explain to Gaby, but she won't hear it. Caridad knew the whole time that Franco was cheating on Gaby. Marintia tells Gaby that she and Franco have been together since before they got married because Franco loves Marintia, plus Marintia can have Franco's children, unlike Gaby. Gaby slaps Marintia and a catfight ensues. Caridad breaks them up. Gaby says that Julia was right. Caridad is not trustworthy. Gaby tells Marintia that she can have Franco. She doesn't want that trash near her. Gaby is leaving, but Caridad stops and begs her not to tell Eladio because it could damage the relationship between Franco and Eladio. Gaby could care less. Caridad promises Gaby that she will convince Franco to give her a quick divorce and nobidy will get hurt. Gaby leaves.

Art tells CB to stop threatening Connie because he already caused EJ enough harm. Connie wants to know what the chimp did. Art tells her that he orchestrated the kidnapping. Connie goes BSC on the chimp. She starts hitting and yelling at him. He tells her he can't stand to see her happy and much less with Miguel. He is sorry she ever got pregnant. Art warns the chimp to calm down. Connie tells him that he will pay one day for everything he has done.

Franco is at home and gets a frantic message from Caridad. She is telling him what happened when Gaby gets home and slaps him good across the face. He wants to know what the heck is going on. Gaby tells him that she had warned him that she would not forgive him for cheating. He not only cheated, he had a child with Marintia. She not only wants a divorce, she's not going to rest until her uncle buries him.

Justino shows his findings about false addresses and receipts to David in regards to the budget for the Rivera Maya project.

Franco says that everything is Gaby's fault because she didn't trust him and because she was obsessed about having kids. Gaby says it's a lie, because they were doing fine and he was already going out with Marintia. He was deceiving her all this time. He did exactly what Eladio did to Julia. He is despicable. Gaby is going to tell Eladio everything. Franco stops her and begs her not to get his father involved because he is capable of killing Franco. She tells him that what he did is unforgiveable. The only thing she wants right now is for him to die. Gaby leaves.

The next day at GLA the chimp goes to see Eladio. He wants to talk business. Eladio doesn't want to work with a Montenegro. CB wants an alliance. He is willing to give all of the info on the business strategies that Art has planned for the year. "In exchange for what?" Eladio wants to know. CB tells Eladio he wants to unite to destroy his father.

Hey Patio Peeps,
I really enjoyed recapping this story. It was a rollercoaster ride. It had it's ups and downs. Thank you to everyone for faithfully reading and commenting.

And a very special thank you to the PyP recapping team. You all were awesome!

As usual let me know what I got wrong or anything that I missed.

Hasta Pronto!

Many thanks for your vivid retelling of this eventful episode! Things are moving, tempers are flaring, slaps and punches are flying, baddies and hypocrites are slipping, gullible galoots (yeah you, Gabi!) are waking up, anvils are aligned and ready to launch... We are cooking with gas, people! Thank you so much, AuntyAnn, for sharing your talent with us and providing so many detailed and witty recaps over the course of this addictive TN! You are very appreciated! :)

Best scene of the night, hands down, was Eladio’s “Frankly, my dear, I don’t give a damn!”. I loved it so much, I actually cheered! Oh, he told Princess Confundida, alright! “You chose your ArTonto? Faaan-friggin-tastic! Here, muaaah! I hope you’re very happy! Now pi$$ off and let me enjoy my cognac in peace!” :D

I believe that the biggest misconception and the greatest incongruity of this TN is the idea that Julia is the big prize and that the man who wins her (terminally confused) heart is the victor. However, Julia is not the reward; Julia is the anvil!Whoever ends up with her will not be favored by the TN Gods, he will be doing time in (a very esthetically pleasing) purgatory.

As I watched the regulation class-A hypocrite Julia is, I couldn’t help but wonder: is this woman actually aware of what she’s doing/saying or is she on drugs? Does she realize that the male population of Mexico City comprises more men than the two saps she’s been toying with all this time? She wants her space, yet she continues seeing Arturo and giving him high hopes. Not once did she tell that poor deluded man that she doesn’t love him! She tells everyone and their mother that she wants to be independent, yet the minute Arturo shows her the plans of a new house, she’s all: “OK, Daddy! Let’s do this! Independence and 9-to-5 jobs are for fugly hoes who can’t land a man with a bloated bank account! My rocking body and luscious locks thrive on luxury! Build me that mansion, Daddy!”. Ay, Julia, Julia, Julia! Like Bon Jovi said: “Darling, you give love a bad name!” Oh well, maybe I’m a little too harsh on Julia. I’d probably act the same if two bazillionaire hotties were building me mansions, showering me with attention and following me around like lovesick puppies. I’d string them along and walk all over their enamored hearts with my Stuart Weitzman stilettos that they, obviously, paid for! :p

Next on my rant list: Regina and David. The love martyr and the sisterfudger. I cannot emphasize how little I care. I don’t give a single flying fudge about these two fools. If anything, I want them to end up alone and miserable. And away from my screen! I actually enjoyed seeing Erick ruin la pedida de mano (gathering to formally ask for someone’s hand in marriage). Jorge should be eternally grateful for this humiliation; it might have just saved him from turning into another Eladio. Run, Turtle Boy, run! Go seek your happiness with someone who truly loves you and who is worth the trouble. There’s a Turtle Girl out there for you! A good and loyal woman who will adore you and will deserve all the love, care, dedication, turtles, balloons and M&M’s you have to offer!

Thanks again, AuntyAnn! Good day, everyone! :)

-- A quote from the capítulo --

“Ya no tiene caso volver a hablar de esto. Estamos perdiendo aquí el tiempo. Y de verdad, Julia, mira, de verdad, si ya decidiste con quién hacer tu vida, adelante, Julia. Mira, [le besa la mano] que seas feliz. Te lo digo con todo mi corazón. Que te vaya bien.” *

*Eladio Butler is sorta kinda sick of the hypocrisy, the waffling and the tiresome mind-games of Julia O’Confundida: "There is no point talking about this again. We are wasting time here. And really, Julia, look, really, if you have already decided with whom you are going to live your life, then go ahead, Julia. Here [he kisses her hand], I hope you are happy. I’m telling you this from the bottom of my heart. Goodbye and good luck.”

#MustLaserOffThatDarnTattoo

no tiene caso = there is no point, it doesn’t matter.

que te vaya bien = Lit. “[hope] that it [everything] goes well for you”. This expression is commonly used to say goodbye and/or to wish someone good luck and/or to wish someone a nice day.

Thank You so much AuntyAnn
So finally some meat to chew on.

SharedThug strikes out extorting more cash from DieErikDie and shows up at Casa Montenegro with her jewelry for Nina. And he tells her the whole dirty story of the kidnapping. Rather than put Erik’s ass directly under the jail (and by default give custody of rug rat to Connie), Ninanobrain keeps it quiet in exchange for Erik’s relinquish of custody of RRat.

Gaby 1.0 was slapped into the next universe by DieFrancoDie and is replaced with Gaby 2.0 . Dave finds out and punches DieFrancoDie only once. 2.0 has Lie Detector app installed.
Ms 2.0 goes to see CariDUD and walks in unseen on a convo between Dud and Mouth Breather and learns all about Mateo and everything. MB brags that she and DieFrancoDie were hopping long before DFD married 2.0. Nice 3 way catfight.

David and Justice-ino are digging through DieFrancoDie’s padded books and discovering the massive embezzeling. Overpriced building supplies bought from fake addresses.

Thanks so much for your recap AuntyAnn. Your recaps have been wonderful especially last night because my DVR failed :(

Have to run but am happy, as you say in your title, the cat's out of the bag. Erick and Franco's anvils are starting. Tonight promises to be fun. Hope to post later this afternoon.

AuntyAnn- Thank you so much for all your richly detailed recaps.

Nandicta- I loved that scene between Eladio and Julia too. Eladio gets the best lines.

Very glad that Erick and Franco are being found out, but not happy that the other characters are reacting so slowly/mildly to the revelations. Nina (and Art) finds out about Erick's crimes, yet they don't turn him in to the cops, where he belongs. Connie would get custody if Erick was in jail. They don't need to bargain with him! Franco slaps Gaby, yet it takes finding out about the love-child for her to finally demand divorce. And she warns him before she goes to Eladio (I don't really believe she'll actually do it). I was actually surprised Franco let her leave their apartment after she announced her next move.

Julia and Gina...the writers want us to hate them, obviously. Neither one of them learns from experience.

Gracias, AuntyAnn, and congratulations on getting this episode.

Please, peeps, remember that there was a 6-month time leap. Arturo didn't go back to Julia's place the next day. But the captions announcing time leaps are so quick it's a "blink or you'll miss it" thing.

You had one mistake (which a lot of people make) when you said that Gaby "could care less"; it's couldn't care less, which means she doesn't give a damn.

I loved seeing Nina recognize her jewelry and hear the truth, but she should definitely have decided then to let the police have Ape Child. That should have been the final straw for her, but that it wasn't must be due to the idea that losing him completely that way would be more than she could handle after Daniela's death. His accusation that she was a bad mother was an excuse on his part. True, Nina was a bad mother but that had little to do with his willingness to break the law to commit rape and kidnapping.

Vivi, you are so right. No need for custody negotiation. What I'd love to know is who would get custody of his company shares at that point.

BTW, loved the dress Nina wore for that dinner party. It had both class and sex appeal.

Gabriela finally saw the light about Franco, so this was two cats out of the bag in this episode. She gave Caridud the hell she deserved for concealing this secret. Caridud had to be delusional to think that anything good could have come out of this.

Julia's state of confusion is normal even if it irritates us. She was abused and devalued by both her father and Eladio for all but the last year of her life. Self-doubt doesn't go away so easily. If she is afraid to love or be loved it's either because she fears repeats of her past experience (which are irrational), fears that David would stop loving her (irrational on his part), or fears she is undeserving of love (which some here think she is).

David's attitude still makes no sense.

Regina has always been in a bad place with this. She is her father's Golden Child but never truly had her mother's love until now. She didn't want to lose Arturo but didn't want to lose any chance of Nina ever loving her. A lot of water has gone over the fall but remember that Nina early on tried to force Regina into a marriage with an immature brat who would have cheated on her with Daniela if she hadn't walked in on the kiss in the hospital cafeteria and busted the seduction attempt. Arturo initially approved of Regina's relationship with David, who was then not working for Eladio. David was initially attracted to Regina when they first met, which means we should all probably be scratching our heads over why he had that weekend fling in Cancun with Daniela. She dumped him like a hot yuca when another guy gave her a more expensive gift.

Which means that Regina shouldn't have gotten involved with David in the first place, but maybe she watched CS 93.

Need to start working on the finale. I have to watch all three hours again and still need to catch up on Hotel. Since I'm assembling the three pieces before posting, you may not see this until tomorrow morning.

Urban Unbelievable: Thanks so much. Your comments always add little points that I, for one, miss. This is above and beyond your recaps. How you and the other recappers find the time is ....unbelievable.

AuntyAnn, thank you for this wonderful recap. You have been such an integral part of this amazing recapping team.

"Hummy is thrilled. He probably thinks there is a father-in-law suite in those plans" was among my favorites.

Like Vivi, I was shocked Franco let Gaby leave after she threatened to expose him to Eladio - I thought he would surely kill her. What a terrible way for Gaby to find out about Franco's betrayal. Marintia gloated and preened - how despicable. The fact that Caridad was also present and obviously knew all along was another terrible blow.

It is also likely a matter of moments until Eladio learns the full expanse of Franco's bilking all of his accounts. The roof has caved and Franco will be buried.

Erick is desperate and I am afraid...

I've been one of Julia's staunchest supporters but I have to agree with the comments thus far. I wish she'd waited to reconcile with Arturo. She knew Regina would not get back with David if Julia were with Art. Especially now. after Nina is still so devastated. I still think Julia is going to end up with Eladio...I have to admit though, Arturo bringing the old house plans was ingenious.

That said, David is a spoiled child who needs to grow up. He made the choice to restart his relationship with Dani. He ruined his relationship with Regina all by himself.

Nina looks great in pants (of no consequence, just an observation).

So many anvils - will 3 hours be enough!?

Can't wait until tonight...

Diana

I don't think David is spoiled because he endured Eladio's coldness for most of his young life. He simply may have no sense of boundaries because the adults in his life had none. It also makes me wonder how Humberto related to him through all the years that Eladio had convinced himself that David wasn't his son.

A.) Julia is a life support for a whole bunch of hair and a couple of great legs. Go buy yourself an inflatable Farturo.
B.) CariDUD is delusional if she thinks Gab 2.0 will not tell Uncle Eladio (her second Father until her next conversation with him) about Dud, Mat, and MBreather.
C.) After his crimes so far have come to light, Simian Scum is still allowed in the family home? And his Father has not fired him? Christ was crucified for less.
D.) The bruise is still on Gab 2.0's face and in light of her new information she does not go to the police? The LieDetector app does not come with the DomesticJail app.
E.) Nutless punched Franco ONCE? Go touch up your manliner, its running. Leaving a mark on a female loved one usually somehow involves at least blood or guns in TN land.
F.) Have the writers done the math of how many we need killed in 180 minutes?

Happy Happy Joy Joy

Thanks, AuntyAnn. Terrific recap. Love your sly wit, like these two ditties:

David arrives at Gaby's house while she is icing her face. (Why she is still there?)

She [Nina] tells him [Erick] that she knows everything about the kidnapping. He pleads stupidity.

The song “Tainted Love” keeps running through my mind when I see David and Regina together. Yep, noble Regina messed up big time breaking with David, but David having a second round boinking Dani is just too tainted for me. Regina, let Jorge go and just move on, leave DF.

I laughed out loud when Mateo starting crying while Franco was on the phone lying to Gaby. Franco's grand dastardly plan starts unraveling due to his innocent little tyke. I think Gaby started to wake up a wee bit more with the phone call and that's what drove her to visit Caridad.

Couldn't believe Caridad still tried to keep the lie going. Also, couldn't believe Gaby refused to leave with David after she called him over because Franco hit her. David won some points with me for his patience with her there.

My guess Franco is going to try to head off Gaby and tell Eladio his "story" first. Everybody keeps expecting Franco to off somebody. So far he hasn't had the stomach to do it himself, plus he is in fear of Eladio. If say, Gaby, fell down the steps and died or her brakes failed, Eladio wouldn't buy Franco wasn't involved.

I'm already feeling sorry for Eladio when Julia finds out he was in on Franco's coverup of his grandson. Eladio hasn't done anything evil in ages and most of it was done before the TN started, so I'm just not seeing him as a villain.

Vivi, nice to see you hear joining in the grand closing.

oops - "see you here"

AuntyAnn, thanks for this as well as all the terrific recaps you've given us. It's been a pleasure being on the team with you. ¡Hasta pronto!

Well this was a satisfying episode, wasn't it? Pedro the Thug makes his rounds, Gaby learns the truth about Franco [and his ghastly mother!] and Erick is forced to cede parental rights to the baby.

Lots of questions still remain though. See you all tomorrow when we talk about the gran final.

Niecie: You are probably right about Franco trying to beat Gab to Eladio with "His" version. His little 'wake up' whack pales in comparison to what Gab really wants to tell Eladio. And what she thinks she will be telling Elad, he already has known For-Ev--Er.

Fabulous recap! What an exciting episode!!

So since I am leaving this afternoon for a wedding and won't be able to see the finale and talk to my patio peeps I need to give my thanks now.

THANK YOU TO ALL OF THE AMAZING, AMAZING RECAPPERS!!!!! Your work each week is extraordinary.

THANK YOU TO ALL OF THE FABULOUS COMMENTATORS!!!! It is a pleasure to spend time with you each day discussing these shows. You all have such wonderful, brilliant insights.

I'm hoping when I get back home on Monday I will be able to watch the finale. I'm going to try to stay away from catching any spoilers before that time but it will be tough.

So now on to the episode. I couldn't believe Gaby stayed in the apt after Franco hit her. David should have picked her up and carried her out. But I was super happy when she grabbed Mari's hair and started fighting with her. Mari will get her anvil, most likely from Franco.

Caridad still lying to Gabi and then pleading for him after all he has done to her. She is such an idiot. I can't stand her.

Pedro making the rounds was the best. So now all of Erick's crimes are now open. Am i forgetting one?

I really hope Eladio doesn't work with Erick but he is super hurt after Julia's words, and he is flicking his lighter. He knows Erick is an idiot but he wants to get at Art.

So Julia's independence lasted 6 months until she was bought with a grand house. If she really does end up with him in the end I will be mightily disappointed. It is almost as if she is with him out of guilt for all he has lost for going after her. Is she really "bien" with him? I don't see it. Her therapy has hit a brick wall.

I hope Julia and Eladio find out about Hummy helping Art. No signs of Hummy's anvil yet. Franco might reveal Hummy taking money from the factory sale.

Reg and David are a mess and I ff thru all of her scenes with Jorge.

"Her therapy has hit a brick wall."

Amen, Carvivlie!

Thank you so much for this recap Aunty Ann and for ALL your perservance in giving us such great info every week.

This recapping team was the best!! I had so many hi's and low's with this TN, some weeks not watching at all and only reading recaps ( and seeing so very little actually happening). Applause and Brava to all. Being I miss tonight traveling, I may not be able to do much more than read your great recap UA and see the show later ( if it's worth watching.)

I was generally irritated watching last night because having everything all coming out at once the day before the finale was so trite and unnecessary. And it left some characters mind-blowingly stupid until planned AHA moment. I'm sorry, why would Gaby call David, he sees the bruise and then she tells him to leave and stays with Jerkwad. Julia may have been abused by Eladio, but she was almost a virtual prisoner. That scene was so frustrating...but the writers still needed her to find the baby to want a divorce? Whatever...and Caridad is just nuts.

I was also irritated with Julia. For all her talk and being happy independent, all Artie had to do was pull out a dangly home they "dreamed " about long ago (which totally indicated they were two spoiled kids) and she was all smiles and ready to jump in. That really didn't look great if we are to buy that she really loves him, etc. It came off as all in now that she will be able to get her old dream back, big house and all. Delusional much?

And can I ask? Didn't Hummy have to have a live-in nurse? How is he living at Julia's with her alone and getting the care he supposedly needs, especially with her flitting around everywhere?

I love Juan Pablo, but I'm done with the Gina/David story line. Honestly, I think Gina is better off with Balloon Boy. He can give her cupcakes and candy and stuffed toys until death do them part. Somehow, those two fit better. David SHOULD move away and just start over.

Erick is never going to see that any of his behaviors are wrong. His sense of privilege is too strong. His Armageddon needs to be having him reduced to the lowest form of living...jail, drunk on the streets, I don't care. Alone, dirt poor and hated and living every day remembering his own stupidity. Death is too good for him, but they may go there.

Will Franco deserve to die? yes and no, but I think the same fate as Erick would be good. Nothing better happen to the baby, poor child didn't ask for such stupid parents. I can see Mari take off if Franco gets busted.

Been fun guys!!! I'll try to check in late tomorrow once it's time to take a break in the hotel.

Daisynjay

Nandicta, "Best scene of the night, hands down, was Eladio’s “Frankly, my dear, I don’t give a damn!”. I loved it so much, I actually cheered!" I agree! Just loved everything about that scene, especially his body language, flipping through those documents.....Priceless!!!! She threw out his relationship with Caridad, and Eladio tossed Art's pre marriage affair and baby right back in her lap!

Niecie, "I laughed out loud when Mateo starting crying while Franco was on the phone lying to Gaby." I loved that scene too, it was so appropriate. Even with Franco's quick thinking "restaurant" lie, Gaby was soon on to him!

Vivi, First of all, welcome back, we've missed you! "Julia and Gina...the writers want us to hate them, obviously." I have been saying this all along, the writers have sabotaged these characters. They could have inspiring, what a shame! I really think the ending of the novela can never satisfy.

AuntyAnn, thanks for your wonderful, detailed recaps. I certainly hope "Hasta Pronto" means that we'll have you around here recapping again soon!

AuntyAnn. Time after time you have delivered and I thank you bunches and bunches

Nandicta "Julia is not the reward; Julia is the anvil!" No truer words spoken and have scratched a hole in my skull trying to figure this one out. What on earth do these guys see in her? Oh well, all you got to have for an auction is another fool.

Wait. All the near misses and months and months and Gabi overhears a conversation. That's it. FOUL

thanks, AuntyAnn , for this detailed recap and all the other recaps that you have provided us with on this very bumpy ride.

As always, I surfed in and out. I missed David punching Frankfurter...darn. However, I did see teeny tiny Connie go BSC on Dimmy Dimwit. I also saw Gaby FINALLY discover that her mother-in-law is a lying liar who lies . It was pathetic watching Caridad trying to spin things. #youaresodone Oh, Auggie, we are ready for you to take this guy to court.

I also saw the sparkle In Julia 'S eye when Art showed her the old blue prints for their dream home. Mr. Montenegro Builds His Dreamhouse. Good..they deserve each other. I hope the roof leaks. Who knew that Julia and Nina would change places? Maybe Nina and Eladio will start dating. Now that would be some chemistry right there.

I would marry Jorge if I were Reg. The guy is a prince. However, we all know where all this fussing and fretting is going to end up...Dave and Reg. Good luck with a lifetime of both comparing Reg and Dani.

Time to assemble snacks and beverages for tonight's three hour final siege. #helpme

Tofie...Could I persuade you to do one of your hilarious one line list of characters now that the bleeding has almost stopped?

The previews which they have showed now for several episodes show bloody hands..so somebody is going to die or get seriously wounded tonight.

I too loved Julia's white form fitting dress. It may have been the nicest one she has worn on the show. Her costumes have been the best.

I kinda thought it looked like a wedding dress which disturbed me since I don't want her marrying Art. Beautiful though.

AuntyAnn---You did it again, hit the jackpot with another great recap. Did you save the best for last? Well anyway it's been a great ride. I'm glad that you were part of this great recap team.

LOL---Will there be a father-in-law suite in the new mansion?
Yes Julia sure seemed to be bought with a grand house. I was shaking my head last night. No Julia no! Will she flip flop in the final three hours tonight?

Carvivlie---The nerve of that couple scheduling their wedding during Pasion y Poder.
How uncaring of that couple. I hope that you tell them the error of their ways.

I hope that Eladio doesn't kill anyone tonight. Blood on his hands?

Steve---Get your dead pool count ready and updated for us. I know that you'll be on top of it.

Nandicta---An interesting comment about Marlene Favela not being recognized at the awards this week. It's a shame but fore sure not the first shame. I wrote a late comment on that yesterday. What in the world is going on when names are being considered? Sometimes I just don't get it at all. Many questions arise.

I admit that I have been so excited, so into this novela that I have been getting things--dates and time schedules all mixed up. You guys can tell by my comment yesterday that I was thinking that the three hour final was yesterday not today. Well, it's for sure tonight and I will be front and center.

MUST see tv!!!
the gringo

for sure---My bad habit. I don't proof read.

the gringo

-- Gringo: I was meaning to reply to your late comment but it slipped my mined. Apologies. I believe that the reason Marlene Favela didn't get nominated was because she isn't under exclusive Televisa contract. She has been doing novelas for Venevisión and Telemundo for many years and hasn't starred in a Televisa telenovela since 2005. As for the nominations, I believe it is a group of critics, directors and producers (and maybe journalists?) from Televisa that select the nominees. Traditionally, the premios were awarded in each category based on the decision of a jury + the public's votes. This year the winners were selected exclusively by the public. There are a lot on incongruity in the nominations. This year for example, Brandon Peniche won a prize for "Que Te Perdone Dios", where he only appeared for an episode or two. Even the actor himself didn't understand why he got nominated. He ended up winning his category! I think that the voters got confused and thought they were voting for Brandon based on his turn in the highly-acclaimed "A Que No Me Dejas" when in fact he was nominated for his guest appearance in QTPD. "Premios TV y Novelas" have been unjust quite a a few times in the past. Failing to nominate Susana González for her excellent performance as Cynthia Montero was one of the injustices of these premios. Other notable examples that come to mind are the fact that Victoria "The Crier" Ruffo won Best Actress for "Corona de Lágrimas" when the excellent Silvia Navarro wasn't even nominated for her performance in "Amor Bravío". An outstanding telenovela like "Pasión" and its actors were snubbed in favor of that average refrito called "Destilando Amor" where all the lead actor did was cry and yell Gaviotaaaaaaa. I was particularly disappointed because Colunga, Alberto Estrella (The Sidekick, Mario) and José Elías Moreno (The Villain, Laffont) had very physically demanding roles and deserved recognition. Daniela Castro was outstanding as, Lisabeta, the blind vindictive cousin, who received one of the harshest villana punishments in TN history. DA even won best script when it's basically copied verbatim on a Colombian TN (with a bunch of dumb filler added) while "Pasión" was an original (and fast-paced) story. Oh well.

-- Tofie: I join Susanlynn and the many fans of your lists of zingy soundbites in asking: Can we please have a list to celebrate the finale? Porfis, porfis, porfis? *Puss in Boots pleading eyes*

Aunty Ann...Absolutely loved the title. A "headline" should always hit the meat of the story, and you scored a bulls-eye with that one.

Also the quip about Humberto hoping for a father-in-law suite in the Arturo/Julia dream home (gag me with a spoon) was a riot.

I know you are very busy with your job so I appreciate all the more the time you take to recap this story for all of us to fume and fuss and discuss. Kudos to you kid.

Although I'm sure Eladio frankly really DID give a damn, he portrayed indifference beautifully. Julia looked quite crushed by his calm acceptance of her official relationship with Mr. A, and loved that she had to grab his cognac and take a big swig herself. I was still on her side until I saw her eyes light up at those blueprints. Now uggh, I don't care how she was raised or how fragile her friggin' self-esteem is. I Am Done.

I agree with everyone who has praised the recapping team. You kept it lively, interesting and civil. The recaps were written with humor, sometimes outrageous, and class. A lot of care and hard volunteer work goes into making CarayCaray a success and you guys are terrific in every way.

The problem with the Premios is that the magazine that does them is owned by Televisa.

If the Premios were done independently they would have to be international with entries based on the distribution of each networks' novelas. Mexico, the US, Venezuela, and Columbia would probably be the countries with the most entries and everything would be judged more fairly.

There probably should be a fully-international competition where non-Spanish-speaking coutries also compete, but that would be more complicated.

AuntyAnn,

You are such a peach to have faithfully provided us with these delightful and informative recaps each week. Well done... we appreciate you so very much. Thanks.

I can't decide who is more cursi, Jorge with his balloons and turtles or Arturo with his grief and adolescent house plans. And I guess the beloved Montenegro family estate that Arturo's grand daddy built with his bare hands was not so precious after all if building his and Julia's teenage dream home was the plan all along.

Last night's episode was very satisfying. Pedro the thug, Mateo the kid, and Justino the cypher all stepped up to get the ball rolling. I especially enjoyed Nina's belated baptism of her wastrel son, Erick.

Tonight should be a blast.

Carlos

Marintia has been saying too many times to Caridad that she's not like Caridad, so I predict a hefty stint in prison for Marintia.

Gaby wishes Franco would just die, so I think he will do just that. Perhaps Marintia will end up killing him and that's how she goes to prison.

I don't understand why Erick was allowed back into Nina's house. The only thing I can think of is Nina's been so consumed with grief over Daniela and holed up in Dani's room that she really didn't care if Erick was staying in the house. Or perhaps Erick staying in the house was on account of the baby.

If Franco is dead/in prison, there's no more need for Caridad to be around Eladio so when Franco meets his fate, Caridad will meet hers too.

Arturo & Nina should've have learned from past mistakes and turned Erick into prison but perhaps they couldn't bear losing one more child. But he is lost and will meet his fate tonight.

Assmore is still a factor and dangerous because he doesn't have anything to lose. Who will Assmore hurt worse tonight? Arturo or Eladio?

David & Justino need to hurry with the receipts on the fraud so they can bring down Franco.

Lastly, Julia. She whines to Eladio that Arturo cheated on her & got the other woman pregnant, but at least Arturo didn't have a permanent lover & had her raising his kid. No Julia, Arturo's permanent lover who raised other people's kids is named Nina. If Susana hadn't died in childbirth Arturo would be with her today (and treating Susana like he's treating Nina).

Anon207: I'm anticipating Marinita's big anvil, which will be very big!

Julia needs to make a decision & STICK TO IT!

207: Last I saw AssWipe was in jail. The ep a night or two ago with Art punching him and the cops finding his stash in his room.

I have bad news for A&N, they will see much less sorrow with Pond Scum in prison than with him continuing to run amok in their lives.

Or dead. That is a one time event which in his case, the sorrow should fade quickly. Still alive he is the swarm of locusts which will not go away.

I don't understand why Erick was allowed back into Nina's house. The only thing I can think of is Nina's been so consumed with grief over Daniela and holed up in Dani's room that she really didn't care if Erick was staying in the house...Arturo & Nina should've have learned from past mistakes and turned Erick into prison but perhaps they couldn't bear losing one more child. But he is lost and will meet his fate tonight.

That's it.

The anvil that hit both Nina and Arturo was losing two of their three children. Nina has to learn to love Regina, her least favorite child.

Neither of them has heard Erick's worst threats against Consuelo and Nina has to deal with any guilt she could be hit with for her own.

AuntyAnn, thank you so very much for this wonderful detailed recap, it's very much appreciated!

Now pi$$ off and let me enjoy my cognac in peace!”

THIS! Oh Nandicta, you say what I am thinking and then putting it into words! Maaaahvelous! I have loved Julia through this whole tn, but she is wearing my patience with her passive aggressive behavior. I don't get why she felt the need to waltz in and disturb Eladio's evening with her pronouncement that NOW she is officially in a relationship with Arturo. As far as I am concerned she has always been in one with him. I've always been frustrated with Arturo that every time she would would tell him to stay away he wouldn't, but the truth is Julia never put her foot down and meant it. She has played with both of these men and I think Eladio more than anyone. She's dropped by his office too many times to count, to gripe at him about his friendship with Nina, berating him for having lunch with the woman, making him feel guilty because he dared to take off his wedding ring AFTER they were divorced. Now she has the audacity to come to his home to kick him down further by throwing up in his face everything he did wrong. How many times do you throw that in someone's face? If you say you forgive them, then mean it and STFU! If I'm an abused person, and I want my space from them, I'm sure as hell not going to show up at their house/office every other day to enquire about their personal life, or nag at them. Julia is unreal. I just can't anymore with her. It's so hard to wish her on Eladio at this point. #FreeEladio

David is another victim of his insensitive mother. How did this woman fix her mouth to encourage him to go and chase Regina, having his face cracked and humiliated when she was already back together with Art. Art whom she has been telling for months now "Oh we can't be together because it hurts our kids. David and Regina can't be together if we are together. We can't do that to them." Huh? What has changed now? Why did she think that Regina/David could be okay now with her and Art being together. Julia needs to call her therapist...either she needs to have her meds checked or get some meds. She is out of her DAMN mind!

Gaby really failed me last night. I wanted her to lay a bitch slap down on Caridud so hard that her medusa curls would go straight. Marintia better be worried, this is the last thing Franco wanted to be revealed to Gaby. Her loose lips flapping carelessly are going to have consequences. It will be interesting to see what Gaby does when she finds out Eladio knew. I hope Gaby will be able to forgive and realize the difficult situation he was in. He was damned either way and honestly Franco is a big boy he needs to own his mistakes and his lies. The same way Eladio has had to own and atone for his.

Julia can kick rocks, I don't care at this point if she forgives Eladio for keeping Franco's secret. She's going to be too busy reeling from the lies and manipulations Art and her father have been orchestrating behind her back.

Who knew Chimp boy could do something right? Thank you Erick for giving Boreje the come to Jesus sermon he needed. "Boreje, Regina is not that into you!" Boreje is an idiot. "Oh well, the important thing is that Regina is going to marry my pathetic and desperate ass"

I see Nina as deserving a much larger anvil than Arturo.

Arturo has been nasty alright. He has lied and played dirty against his business and romantic rival. This unsavory behavior seems to have really come to a boil in only the last year or so. He may have neglected his children but never openly mistreated them in the normal sense.

Nina has been downright nasty to her own children and step children. Nina carried on her nastiness for decades. To me crimes against children are far more serious than underhanded competition in the business world. Nina was openly antagonistic and mean to her children over a long time. To me any crime against children trumps all others.
This is why I feel no sympathy for Nina and will shed no tears if she loses another of the satans she nurtured to fruition. We don't have long to wait.

Urban and Nandicta---It sounds like the awards show needs to set some strict rules.

Steve and Kirby---A lot of limbs and branches will be falling from the tree tonight.

Tofie---One of your great and famous lists would be the talk of the patio tomorrow I'm sure. You haven't given them out lately and so an ending list would be extra special.

the gringo

Delilah if you could make up your mind...you are running out of time. Do you want to move in with Julia and Hoverturd or not?

I find your WWF Smackdown rants highly entertaining. And highly acurate too.
Thanks for your little dissertations.

Gringo I am afraid the family tree will look like a telephone pole by midnight.

I don't think Arturo has a track record of dirty business dealings against Eladio. He wasn't the one with a mole in the rival company. He did one underhanded deal with Assmore and that has bitten him back in the worst possible way.

Neglecting children for the sake of work when there is another parent present is a lesser offense than being a nasty parent, step-parent, or in-law.

The loss of Daniela and Erick hits Nina harder because she favored them over Regina, who is Arturo's Golden Child. She loves intensely as he does and has his normal work ethic. She also has a sense of responsibility, which neither Erick nor Daniela had. Daniela had possibilities, but Erick was always a lost cause.

Terrific Aunty Ann, tks

What else is new, Julia is soooo confused

And Eladio
"Frankly, my dear , I don't give a damn" was great

Hola Patio Peeps,
So glad that you all stopped by today to comment and rant. I am loving all of it. Even though the story dragged at times and I couldn't wait for the end to come now that it's here i am sad. Relieved, but also sad. I will miss the entertaining comments from all of the caray caray faithful. Thanks to all if you for stopping by day after day. I can't wait for tonight. Like the Gringo says, MUST SEE TV!

Hasta Pronto!

I have very sad news. Many of you know Mike and Emilia from the blog. Their daughter Jennifer died today. No parent wants or expects to bury their child. A sad parallel to our story and to Susanlynn's heartbreaking personal story as well. I have Emilia's permission to share this as they consider many of you on this line as friends.

OMG. That is so sad.

AuntyAnn, lovely recap. Didn't miss a detail. Thank you my dear. All the anvils are raining down. I think these anvils are
Extra heavy for this crew. Now I'll watch them fall on all the right people.

Thank you to all the recappers. You guys rock!!!☆★☆★☆★☆ So do these actors.

Judy I have not been with this community long, but I am sending my deepest heartfelt condolences to the family. This is so unfortunate and sad, no one should have to bury a child.

Thank you UA and Delilah...my heart is breaking right now thinking about what they are going through.

We have so many dreams for our children as they grow up. They never include this.

Judy, I can't even imagine the pain Mike and Emilia must be feeling. What a devastating tragedy. I'm so very sorry.

Judy,
My condolences to Mike and Emilia. There are no words to console a parent during a tragedy like this. Saying a prayer for their family.

My condolences to Mike & Emilia.

-- JudyB: What terrible news! I can't imagine how devastated these poor parents must be. My heartfelt condolences to them. May they find solace in the love and memories they shared with their child. I'll keep them in my prayers.

I'll post my Dead Pool Body Count tomorrow!

Judyb, I am so sorry to hear of Emilia and Mike's loss. Please let them know that I am thinking about them and their whole family and keeping them in my prayers . I think of them often and their love of train travel. So upsetting . I am hurting for them all and sending out my love. Words are weak at this time

Thanks all, I will pass on your sympathy, caring and prayers to them both. Those of you who are new to the blog may not know but Emilia used to knit special beanies for those who wanted them. They shielded our brain when we were feeling totally deluged by the ridiculous plot turns in some of these telenovelas. Those living on the East Coast sometimes got them hand-delivered! She and Mike loved to travel and I had the pleasure of meeting them for lunch one time when they were passing through Columbus.
They are the dearest people in the world.

Judy, thank you for passing on the sad news in your always kind, caring and sympathetic manner.

Your "We have so many dreams for our children as they grow up. They never include this" made me tear up..

I "met" them during QE and their humor and wry insight were always appreciated.

I will keep them in my prayers and they try and process and deal with this devastating loss.

Diana

Judy: You're in my prayers along with everyone on here.

Steve and Diana...Emilia has been very comforted by all the expressions of sympathy...from everyone on the line. As she said, the people on CarayCaray are the best, and I agree.
