Caray, Caray!

A little fragmented a lot like the commercial ridden episode of tonight . . .

Ricardo goes to open the door of his home and he gets yet another phone call from Esperanza telling him how much she misses him one more time and that Pato has news about his kids. The call turns out to be a good thing because while talking to her, Ricardo notices some marks on his door as if somebody was trying to get in. He remembers La Sombra's threat. He does not try to open the door. He does not get blown up. He calls the super duper spy office of which he is no longer an employee. Esperanza insists she is coming over even though he tells her not to.

At Ernesto's house, Ernesto and Tracy get into a discussion. Ernesto is all worried that La Sombra is going to tell Ricardo he was not the one that caused the attack at the restaurant. Tracy wants to know what could happen anyway if La Sombra said it wasn't him at the restaurant. Ricardo would never think it was them. Ernesto is worried there could be an investigation which wouldn't be good for them. Tracy reminds him it had nothing to do with the two of them; it was all his idea that ended up being his deal  to get his daughter Pato to love him and for Pato and Luca to forgive him. Ernesto is just not sure. He would be capable of doing anything so that Pato and Luca would not find out the truth. Tracy jumps on the "anything". What might that be? Ernesto says that would be eliminating La Sombra all together.


Félix is at Margarita's house. The main topic of discussion is how Bárbara at Instituto Palacioos is trying to find Cristina Vélez to hire as the new principal but with no success. Margarita wants to know why he is not getting the principal position. He explains how Bárbara said he was in charge of the discipline and that Cristina could take them out of the academic crisis they were in. They call Cristina "the firewoman" because of her past successes. Margarita knows her but has not seen her since she had that tragedy in her life. After it happened she just pulled away from everybody. She suffered the worst thing a woman ever could. Right at that moment, Pedro arrives with a huge bouquet of flowers. They are not for Kristel but for Margarita who accepts the flowers with a smile but who also wants to make it perfectly clear that she hasn't given up the "'Stache" (Félix) for him.

Back at Ernesto's the topic changes to Anastasia coming over. Tracy knows he had to give her the money, apartment, job, etc., but to let her come over? Ernesto says he cannot put himself at risk and just like Patricia said you have to keep your enemies close. When the door bell rings, Tracy disappears so she doesn't have to see Anastasia. Anastasia arrives in a short tight little number ready for action. She lets herself in. Ernesto is not smiling.

In the jail cell, Silvana is being shaken down for money by La Tuerta with a little motivation in the form of a beating that even  knocks her out at one point. No worries there, La Tuerta has a cellmate bring Silvana around with a glass of water thrown on her face. After Silvana is left bloodied and writhing on the floor in pain, La Tuerta admits that she might have gone a little far but at least Silvana must have gotten the message, right?

At Margarita's house, Félix is explaining to Pedro how Bárbara Santillana is head of the school board at Insituto Palacios and how she wants to bring Cristina Vélez the expert in pedagogy to Instituto Palacios. Pedro says that he has heard that Vélez is a real witch who imposes too much on others and as he is showing Félix some witchy stuff about her on the internet, Kristel comes out all ready for their date. Pedro just stares at a smiling Cristina with his mouth hanging open. Margarita, always the joker, calls him on it telling him she won't be mopping up the spit leaking out of his mouth. He is like he is hypnotized. Margarita says when she counts to three he will bark like a dog and he does bark just to humor her. They all laugh and the kids are off. Margarita asks Félix what love is. He says it is a marvelous thing. Her response is "Oh". They sit across from each other and hold hands . She just loves his moustache. He happily twitches it just for her. The conversation then turns to Margarita knowing that Félix turned her daughter Silvana in. He says it was because of the fraud she had committed and he wished he could have let Margarita know first since they have been going out. She wishes he could have let her know first, too, but she does not want him to feel guilty. He does feel bad because Silvana is her only daughter. Margarita says it is not easy to realize that your daughter is an unpleasant, bad,  ignorant, etc. woman/bully and in addition to that she is also a thief. She did not bring her up that way. Félix gives her a big hug.

Esperanza arrives at Ricardo's where Ricardo is out on the street and the police are working to remove the bomb. He says that she saved his life with that phone call because that is when he saw that someone had tried to get into his house and also a thin cable. Iker finally calls to say the bomb has been deactivated and now they were going to sweep his house. Ricardo assures Esperanza that all of La Sombra/police stuff is over for good and he going to be a teacher and husband from now on. The nightmare is over. Tomorrow he is going to call Wellbanks to resign. Their next topic is the wedding invitations that have all been sent and everyone is coming.

Pato and Luca are in his car. He is worried about both his mother and Adrián. She wants to know what she can do to help him. Her being with and loving him is enough and all he ever dreamed of. They both want to be together forever. They kiss.

La Sombra is in his cell pacing and thinking about blowing up Ricardo.

At the Gallo house, Luca and Pato have come over and are trying to talk to Erasmo one more time into taking a loan from Luca. Erasmo doesn't need anyone else solving his problems for him.

Pedro and Kristel are talking. She has realized that something bad has happened to Ara. She saw her at school and Ara did not look well at all. It must be a biggie because Pedro has told her nothing. She now understands why he wouldn't because he is such a decent guy and a gentleman. Pedro just wants to change the subject. She wants their relationship to be based on the truth. She will not ask anymore. He likes that she used the word "relationship"but he needs to know about Erasmo. She still thinks about him but she loves him Pedro and thinks they should give it a try. They kiss.

Erasmo is sitting alone in the dark drinking coffee and thinking about Pato.

Anastasia is getting very comfy with Ernesto on the couch and is all over him. Tracy sees them from the staircase and is aggravated enough to want to kill Anastasia.

Mario is visiting Viviana who is sad because she misses Adrián. Mario confesses he has fallen in love with her. He tries to kiss her but she wants no part of it. She thought they were just friends nothing more. Mario apologizes for having offended her and is out of there. She tries to call him back but he is gone.

At the Guerrero house, Pato gives Ricardo the full report on his kids who are doing well and swears that Ernesto is going to take really good care of his kids. Pato is going to help out by stopping by Ernesto's everyday to check on them. Ara arrives all upset saying  that the creep that raped her had just talked to her.  They let him out.

Ricardo, Esperanza, Pato and Ara are on the way to school by bus in the morning. Ricardo tells her if that creep gives her any problems he will be her bodyguard. After school Ricardo, takes Ara to a counseling center for abused women. While she is talking to a counselor, Ricardo calls Iker so he can see what is going on with her attacker. Iker will find out what he can and get back to him. Pedro calls Ricardo reminding him he has an appointment for his tuxedo fitting at 6:00. Ricardo cannot miss the appointment. He will talk to Ara before he goes.

Tracy is calling wedding dress stores trying to find out the one that Esperanza is dealing with to evidently cause her some problems. She finally calls the right one and finds out it is to be delivered to Esperanza's house at 5:00 tomorrow.

Luca and Pato are at a romantic private roof top dinner he has organized. He wants to toast to their future together forever. She notices how nervous he is. Suddenly he is taking the plunge and he is down on one knee with the ring and proposes. Pato looks just shocked And worried. No smile, no nothing. Luca apologizes for having put her in that situation when he sees her reaction. She finally "comes to" and apologizes for her reaction. It is just that she was so astonished by his proposal. He is the love of her life. She joyously gives him the "Yes" he wants. She proposes to him. How could she ever turn him down loving him as she does? They kiss.

Esperanza is at the hospital getting a PET scan due to some concerns her doctor had with her other test results.

At the jail, Silvana can barely walk to visit her mother Margarita when she comes to see her. Margarita is shocked by the condition Silvana is in. The first thing Silvana asks is if her mother is happy now.

Ricardo is at the tuxedo fitting with Pedro. Ricardo has found out the name of Ara's attacker: Lucio Sarmiento. Pedro cannot believe they let the jerk out. Ricardo does not know any more. Ricardo explains that Ara is at a center for abused women so she can get the support of other women who have been through the same experience and help her deal with it better right now. Pedro tells Ricardo that he looks like a penguin. Ricardo only hopes that Esperanza likes it.

After the PET scan, the doctor tells Esperanza he wants to talk over all of the test results with her tomorrow. She is upset and hesitant because she has so much to do with the last minute wedding plans. The doctor insists it is very important that they talk tomorrow. Esperanza wants to know what he is not telling her. The doctor says he just does not want to get ahead of himself without the test results in hand. How about a 6:00 appointment tomorrow? Esperanza will be there. (It was hard to tell who was saying what because thanks to Univision the previews/avances for tomorrow were being played at the same time.)

Tracy robs Esperanza's wedding dress at gun point from the wedding store delivery man. all the delivery man can say is that there is no fear of God left in the world.

At the rehab center the way too perky doctor tells Adrián that rather than trying to escape, how about if he tries to get better so he can be with Estrella when he gets out and so Estrella will be proud of him. The time has come for him to let her help him. She asks Adrián how he is doing. He feels alone. She thinks he should start by forgiving himself. She never said it would be easy. They talk about his family. His mother was never there for him. She was only into her own self. The only one who he could count on was Luca and then even he betrayed him by abandoning him. Luca just wanted to get rid of him and sent him to the rehab center. The doctor tells him to consider that Luca loved him so much that he sent him to the rehab center so he could overcome his problems with alcohol and depression.

After sitting down to talk to Silvana, Margarita asks if she saw a doctor. Silvana says yes and her diagnosis was being beaten. Margarita tells her she is so sorry. Silvana calls her a liar and deceitful. Margarita tells her she brought the money and hands it over. Margarita wonders how they ever got to this point. Silvana knows and tells Margarita what a bad mother she is and how it is all her fault. While she is at it, she tells Margarita to tell ungrateful Salma that her mother wants to thank her for coming to visit her at the jail. Silvana, money in hand, heads back to her cell.

Kiko asks Estrella to take him over to Salma's house. That does not sit well with Estrella. Salma is her worst enemy. Kiko wants to know how a pregnant 14 year old Salma with a mother in jail could be her worst enemy..

Viviana visits Adrián. She brings him a stack of comics and maybe some security. Viviana has rediscovered the meaning to her life: her sons. Adrián can count on her. She could never leave him or Luca. She promises him a happy family along with Luca.
