This won’t be very long because…basketball. Mis Guerreros juegan esta noche [The Warriors are playing!]
Camila and Adriana talk about Andy (alias Antonio) standing her up for the movies. Cami sticks up for him and Adriana suggests she take a picture of him since she’s beginning to believe Cami made him up!
Marisol is rightly disgusted with JJ for not being able to perform because he thinks of her being raped by her stepfather. I get a kick out of JJ constantly saying ¡No manches!. [It means something like: “Don’t say such silly things!”] After she reams him out, he gets drunk like hundreds of guys in telenovelas before him.
Pablo pays a visit to his old buddy the judge to get advice about Federica’s case. We don’t exactly find out what it is.
Marisol has managed to get the photos from the accident scene of the Mogollones. She discovers red paint on the burned up car they were in.
Pablo tells Federica and Rey that there are two cases involved: civil – concerning the inheritance and criminal – concerning the exhuming of her son’s body to prove murder.
Soraya is talking with Esteban. Love her in this scene. She comes up with the classic: “Keep your friends close and your enemies closer”. She says she’s going to keep the Monteverdes so close she’ll be able to see their pores. She shows up with a bouquet of roses for them, saying she wants to make peace with them.
We see Robert explaining to Cinthia how broke they are. He wants her to ask Luis for money. He convinces her.
We see a well-acted but relatively stupid scene with Pablo outraged with Eva about Las Fuerias and her screaming at him.
Camila takes a cell phone picture of AA, who freaks out, grabs her phone and, apparently, deletes it. This raises Cami’s suspicions [I hope.]
Cinthia shows up at Panchopan begging for money. Luis gives her his whole salary. Cinthia is shocked at how little he earns. Luis has told her that is all he can give her because the inheritance is still in probate. Soraya shows up and gives her another check for money. Cinthia just doesn’t get it when they explain that they’ve lowered their salary to save Panchopan after the issue of the adulterated sausages. Obviously she and Robert would never lower their income for the benefit of other employees. Luis looks disgusted at his mother’s venality.
Rey overhears the big fight with Pablo and Eva and immediately invites her to lunch. She doesn’t accept.
Armando stops by the mansion having left his wallet when he picked up Fabiola from school. Fabi comes inside the house, finds a doll and says she misses her old house. Noemi finds her. Armando comforts her saying they’ll be a family again. Marlene, of course, has come in and overhears Armando saying this.
Virginia shows up at the pharmacy and confronts her ex.
Gusano is concerned and tells Marlene that the plan to lower prices to beat Eva is a bad one. Marlene reveals that harming Eva is more important to her than the business.
Armando brings Fabiola home from school. He comments on the garage-office and says it looks like when the two of them began. Eva is fiddling with a light, shocks herself, and falls into Armando’s arms.
Gusano and Elsa discuss Marlene’s hint that she might harm Armando. Elsa says that Marlene’s only weakness is Armando. She goes on to say that Eva’s being crucified by the dirty tricks Marlene and AA are planning. The nice secretary overhears this and comes to tell all to Eva.
Felipe gets the unconscious Miguel to his house in Honda.
the men carry Reme, also unconscious to her room, Gabriel (who says he's a good horseman) heads out to get the doc, Victoria prays for Reme, it works, she wakes up but is in pain, her screams can be heard around the house.
the slaves are commenting that the soil is stained with Quintero blood, this drives Morales up a wall, he goes and prays himself, he was only doing what he was ordered to do. (and what neat buildings these all are)
Milagros makes a tea for Reme, but they are having trouble getting her up to drink it, Nicholas takes charge and gets the job done, the tea knocks her out till the doctor arrives
Milagros doubts Victoria's plan seeing her around Nicholas.
Felipe and Catalina are an interesting pair, I'm not quite getting there story, but Felipe wants to help Miguel, Catalina doesn't trust people and wants him gone, Miguel comes around and bolts for the door but collapses first.
(I'm not good with Spanish, but the actress playing Catalina, does she have a strong Colombian accent?)
the doctor examines Reme, didn't get what was fractured, her back ??, but she needs to not move and people like this usually die a short time later, and she probably won't ever get pregnant (and I wonder if he really knows anything), he gives Victoria some chloroform to keep Reme calm till he gets back with a brace.
Siervo pokes around Nicholas' room, but Nicholas returns, and he ducks into a cabinet, Nicholas and the doctor talk, the doc says he is there because of the Hippocratic oath, right, things will never be the same between them, I think his son has lost a hand or use of, and they talk about their cause, but don't want to say much here, just that there will be a time when the doc wants something from Nicholas.
Siervo gets out and goes to see Tomas, he failed and doesn't think there will be another chance, but he heard them talking about their cause, what could this be?
the General, Alonso , and Gabriel are home eating, but the General won't let it rest with Gabriel, who gets up and leaves, he goes to see Jesus at the inn who gives him a room for free.
Nicholas heard Victoria asking Reme for forgiveness, and quizzes her about it, Victoria replies, for bringing her here.
Victoria tells Reme how she fell, Reme kicks her out.
Milagros chases her down, and then Morales comes up and grabs Milagros for the fields, but the Marquise demands he no longer treat HER slaves like that, Morales is good at playing humble, Victoria gives Milagros a position in the house.
as Milagros moves to the house one girl wonders if it's to service the Marquise or Nicholas, another wishes her well, and Tomas warns her, don't let it taint you, and take care of your sister, and keep her from doing something stupid, Victoria needs to let go of her anger, Victoria is not the only angry one, Milagros says.
Felipe wants to hear Miguel's story, Miguel hesitates, first off I'm not who you think I am, as Catalina does the "see I told you so" look, and spills about his master helping him to escape, and his love for Victoria who he must return to keep her from marrying, ut oh, the soldiers are going house to house in Honda looking for Miguel, he wants to leave before they get into trouble, but they must know I helped you, Felipe says, we won't be safe here, why don't we all leave, and for some reason Catalina buys it and they are off to Santa Marta, somehow.
the doc has shown up with his brace to immobilize Reme who screams bloody murder as they move her around to put it on.
later Victoria arranges to be alone with Reme desperately trying to be forgiven, Reme has a heart of gold but no taste for revenge and now that she can't get pregnant she is less than a women, no man would marry her, and convent life is not her calling.
my sarcasm you say,
"he gets drunk like hundreds of guys in telenovelas before him."
actually what I'm seeing here is that JJ is now looking at Marisol as a person, not a sexual object, as in he has never "made love to her".
I think what Pablo learned from the judge is the bit about breaking up Federica's case into two separate cases, one civil. one criminal, technical stuff showing us Pablo knows what's up, and also that the judge cannot now try his case.
did Soraya give her check to Cinthia and then take back Luis' and hand it to him, and maybe like Pancho before her, will stop order her check? I love this lady!
loved Marlene's head pains at hearing about Armando recreating his family.
when Marlene suggested lowering their prices, and Armando agreed, he knew, as Gusano pointed out, their clients would suspect they are failing and bail.
yes, things are looking good for Armando's plan (fat chance)
and Marta showing up at Eva's garage, with the latest, (give her a job Eva)
Thanks so much, novelera, for this excellent recap. I'm now back home, and I was able to watch last night's episode, but starting tonight I'll be out for almost all of the rest of this week's broadcasts.
Loved your "he gets drunk like hundreds of guys in telenovelas before him." Yup. And after him, surely. And "relatively stupid scene" describes the fight between Eva and Pablo very well, though I'm not sure about "relatively." :-)
I very much enjoyed Virginia's coming to the pharmacy, and the astonished looks on Adri's and Cami's faces. I think they recognized her right away, but it took me a few seconds to realize who she was. She did a great job of shaking up her ex.
Like you, I hope that "Antonio's" behavior with Cami's camera, coupled with his seemingly standing her up at the movies, will make her more wary. The best thing, of course, would be for Adri to catch a glimpse of him. I was sure that wasn't going to happen at the movies, but I do hope the second time is the charm.
Deb, thanks very much for your very helpful recaps of Esclava, both this one and last Friday's. I did get to see last night's episode, but sometimes I wasn't sure what was being said, and your recap helped fill in some of the blanks. One thing I think I did get was that it was Reme's hip (cadera) that was broken in her fall.
I'm so glad you asked about Catalina's accent. I first noticed what I thought was a Colombian accent from Felipe, and then a bit from Catalina. What I noticed was a kind of melodic lilt when they spoke. I remember hearing it first in the young Colombian drug dealer (I don't remember his name) in La Reina del Sur, and then again with some of the characters in season 1 of El Señor de los Cielos. That's when I began to realize that it was a characteristic of Colombian Spanish.
I was astonished (and relieved) that Siervo was able to get himself into the cabinet before Nicholas and the doctor came into the room.
I also enjoyed your "they are off to Santa Marta, somehow." Just how that all happened was unclear to me, so I was heartened by your "somehow."
I also managed finally to see Friday's episode on Telemundo's website, and I was struck by the clothing. I assume that Victoria had time to have a wedding dress made for her, but how did both Isabel and Reme have such dresses available at the spur of the moment? (And why were they white?) I also wondered something similar when Victoria had this gorgeous black funeral dress. Are we supposed to imagine that that was among the dresses she took from the real marquesa in Spain?
Steve- thanks!
Juanita- thanks for letting me know she broke her hip, I was guessing the back, the captions are cutting in and out so I'm missing stuff.
the creepy doctor really adds to the difference between the owners and the slaves who go with what works rather than 1800's science.
yes, wonderful costumes, and good point as to where they come from, as to Victoria, she arrived with just about nothing, claiming pirates raided the ship and stole everything, perhaps there is a dress shop in town, and some are imported (I use my imagination to fill in the holes)
I've just been doing these off the cuff recaps on a day to day basis just to get the show started but probably won't do them much longer if someone else wants to jump in.
btw, last night's show was 20, so we are a third of the way.
I've commented before, deb, about how impressed I am with your ability to do these recaps "off the cuff." Impressed and grateful. There's a lot I miss in Esclava, and I'm delighted that you've been able and willing to post these recaps. If you find that it's getting to be too much, I'd certainly understand, but please know that your efforts are much appreciated.
Deb, thanks so much for the recaps. I can't read them as I have 6 episodes sitting on the DVR and don't want to know what's going on if I haven't already viewed it.
Thanks for the Esclava Blanca recaps, deb! I'm finally caught up with all of the episodes now. I don't have Telemundo on my cable but I am able to watch them online, so I could probably help with recaps when I get back from visiting my sister next week.
I was wondering about Felipe and Catalina's accents too. Their use of vos and almost Italian-like intonation made me think they were from Argentina or Uruguay at first, but I'm not so familiar with the various Colombian accents. I have a hard time understanding most of the slaves with their disappearing s sounds since I'm not used to hearing spoken Spanish like that (I learned Mexican Spanish).
I thought Miguel was on a ship going across the ocean or something, so how did he end up in Honda, which is in the interior near Bogota? I must have missed something...
J- I assumed that Miguel was going to Spain, but that can't be right since they weren't on the boat that long, and they all got off for the next leg to Santa Fe, I guess will see how long it takes to get back.
Marta came from Mon-Sol to tell Eva and Federica about Marlene’s plan to cut prices to steal Eva’s new clients. After Marta leaves Eva tells Federica that this will really be bad. She can’t afford lower prices herself.
Virginia is at the pharmacy of her ex, the crook. She gets right in his face. She tells him outright she’s coming after him. She says that now, looking more closely, she realizes he isn’t handsome at all. And…he was a lousy lover. She never had an orgasm! Ouch!
We see Marlene’s plan come to fruition. Two thugs beat up Evencio. When Enrique comes to see why he’s being so slow, the beat him as well. They steal the truck and the cargo.
Pablo follows Leyla, Federica’s daughter-in-law to some place. I think this is the hacienda of Federica’s family. At any rate, there’s a fine horse there. The gist of what we see is that Leyla had an affair with the vet and got him to falsify something, not sure what. The vet is angry with her. He says she used him, but he can’t resist and they get it on on a bale of hay. Afterwards she tells him she plans to sell the horse and the hacienda. He says those are things belonging to the Mirabel family.
When Pablo tells Martín and JJ about Leyla, he says Es de cascos muy livianos. [She’d sleep with anyone.]
Soraya is up to something. She’s telling Luis that things are better at the business and they should have Robert back as un asesor (financial advisor!) Luis is dubious. Cinthia is over the moon.
Enrique calls Eva to tell her what happened. Eva figures out immediately that it was Marlene.
Evencio tells Eva at the hospital: mala hierba nunca muere. He tells her he recognized the voices and the height of the new guys at Mon-Sol.
We hear a disgusting conversation between Andy the Asqueroso and La Alacrana Asquerosa. She thinks Camila, as a lower class girl, should be easy. She offers him a big raise if he seduces her.
Poor Camila. She’s with Adriana and feeling bad because of her justifiable suspicion of Andy not wanting his picture taken. He calls and invites her to dinner. Later we see his seduction and she falls into bed with him. I could hardly bear to watch it. [It seemed to me like they spent half the episode on that guy seducing her. He makes my skin crawl.]
Eva calls Armando at the office and asks him to meet her at the hospital.
When Marisol comes to see Betty, she tries to talk about her problems with JJ. Betty’s only response is to ask if she saw Eva at Pablo’s office. Marisol is finally fed up with her. She tells her Betty was too self-centered to listen to HER troubles for 5 minutes. She stalks out!
Federica tells Martín that the vet was a very humble guy and that her son even paid for his education.
Robert calls Luis an idiot for reducing his salary along with the employees. He’s very pleased with the check Soraya gave them.
Adriana tells Tía Bertha of her suspicions about “Antonio” and convinces her.
Armando comes to the hospital. Eva shows him how badly beaten Evencio is. She tells him she’ll give him a chance to explain before pressing charges. He swears he had nothing to do with it, and she believes him. But she goes on to ask what good are his intentions if he lets the scorpion attack her whenever it suits her. Evencio wakes up and tells Armando that the guys who attacked him were buddies of Andy.
Virginia goes home with Enrique to “care for him”. As they’re getting busy she confides that she’s never had that special thing in her life. He promises to send her to paradise!
Pablo and JJ have a beer with Fajardo, Pablo’s old partner. He agrees to get evidence from the scene of Pancho and Soraya’s accident.
We see the happy newlyweds on the sofa. Armando is pretending to enjoy a quiet evening with her. And she thought bubbles she knows he doesn’t want to be with her, but she’s going to make him cry tears of blood.
Miguel , Felipe, and Cata camp for the night and talk around the fire, they are (traveling) lawyers, of course she didn't go to school, women can't be smarter than men, so they taught her.
Miguel used to fight for his people too, a member of some rebels, but they failed, and disbanded when the white men killed Rosa and other freedmen.
Miguel tells his story of Victoria, her family thought her dead but he never did, the heart is always right, and then how she came back to marry Nicholas his master, Cata now understands the urgency, Miguel is convinced she won't go through with the marriage (ut oh) he only wants to take her far from Eden, but what about the cause Felipe asks, Victoria is my only cause now, Felipe and Cata travel around fighting for abolition but Miguel is convinced slavery will go on forever.
meanwhile Nicholas comes to Victoria that night, and takes her.
the next morning Victoria sleeps in, Nicholas chastises her for sleeping in, as estate owners they need to be a beacon of punctuality and discipline.
Victoria checks on Reme, Trinidad says she had a rough night, the pain wouldn't let her sleep, Victoria says for him to stay by her side so when she awakes she won't think we abandoned her, and when she does he brings her food, and later for lunch but she doesn't eat, the doctor has said she will be crippled, Trinidad asks if she believes that quack.
Manuela at the inn runs into Gabriel and goes to Jesus, we are not running a homeless shelter, Gabriel offers to work, she has a job in the kitchen but he knows nothing of this, Jesus has made him a drum, he'll work with his music, Manuela is nervous about mixing the races at their fiestas, especially with his dad being the General.
Eugenia sees Adela in town and discovers she is living there with a couple of slaves, no Nicolas, no Isabel, no Marquise, and later learns it was because of the Marquise who must be smarter than she thought.
Victoria looks pretty bad discussing her wedding night to Milagros, I can't afford to look weak, and about last night, it was disgusting, his hands were all over me, it will be unbearable married to him. (she feels guilty about Miguel who she thinks is dead)
Milagros has an idea, she'll make a potion that will make Nicholas impotent, she's never done it before but the herbs have power.
the horse and wagon get stuck crossing a stream, Miguel talks to the horse at the amusement and curiosity of Cata, but soon the wagon is free.
Trinidad and Milagros talk, living with another can be difficult, that's why she is not married, but Trinidad things he'll change that.
Nicholas tours his cacao farm (a real one) with Morales, thanks him for keeping Miguel's secret and for all the work he has done for Nicholas, if the weather permits they will make their commitment with Mr. Hardy, Nicholas officially makes Morales foreman again.
Nicholas talks to Isabel, she misses her grandmother, but he says soon there will be another, a little brother, Isabel pretends to like the idea.
Victoria and Milagros talk about Morales' fear of the supernatural, as he celebrates being foreman again, if only now he could get the confidence of the Marquise.
Victoria returns to find Nicholas has had Trinadad move all her stuff to his room, she gets Trinidad to bring it all back but Nicholas intercedes, what is the problem, don't you want to sleep with me, Victoria explains it as a European custom, separate bedrooms.
Nicholas turns the table by revealing she wasn't a virgin, is that why you came to America, is that why your parents approved of the marriage, if that's a deal-breaker for you, Victoria says, so be it, but Nicholas does not want to create a scandal, for letting that little detail pass he wants a loving wife and a son, they sleep together again that night.
as they come over the hill above Santa Marta, Miguel is ready to split company and take care of business, but Felipe stops him, he knows what kind of a man Miguel is, they could do great things together to abolish slavery, Cata shuts them up, Miguel we will help you reunite with Victoria and you will help us find those responsible for the crimes you told us about.
Morales awakes the next morning with a hangover, Milagros has placed two dolls (is it a white man and women like the Quinteros) on his door, Morales flips and assembles the slaves to find out who did it, but Siervo comes to get the house slaves for the Marquise
Victoria has a bath with her underclothes on attended by Milagros, the fear is working on Morales.
Felipe and Cata arrive in Santa Maria, Miguel is hiding in the back of the cart...
ok, how about this for a guess, Miguel took a boat upriver to Honda where they got off to get overland passage to Santa Fe de Antioquia.
wow, thanks so much novelera!
hmm, I think what Pablo is after with Fajardo is to see the videos from the traffic cameras, maybe to identify the truck, Fajardo looks like he misses his old buddies.
Evencio sure has taken a beating in this novela.
I think Gusano likes hanging out with Armando, what's the stripper girl he likes, as he indicates to Armando when to stop pouring, and spills about Marlene's plans.
Thanks VERY much, Novelera, for your excellent recap and your generosity in doing it. I've now been able to see the episode, but I'll be at the opera again tonight, and this one (Die Walküre) will run almost 'til midnight, and I've got a meeting in the morning, so I'm not sure when I'll get to see tonight's episode.
I very much enjoyed your recap. How did you find out what Es de cascos muy livianos means? The expression apparently went right by me when I saw the episode. After I read your recap, I tried Googling for it, but I came up empty.
Again, many thanks!
What a wonderful recap, deb. I haven't yet been able to see the episode, and given the frantic schedule for the Ring (four operas in less than a week), I may have to make do with just the recaps. Fortunately, yours was so detailed and vivid that I feel as if I've seen the episode. MANY thanks!
Romy
good points Romy,
I forgot to consider Victoria being pregnant by Miguel, according to her plan they would be gone by now and it wouldn't have mattered, but I don't think Miguel's going to sit still long enough for that bomb to drop.
I probably won't watch tonight because I'll be doing a recap of Eva.
SpanProf, I don't think Pablo could hear what Leyla and the vet were saying to each other. He was looking at them through binoculars. So my guess is he doesn't know about Leyla's having the vet falsify something. But he does know that she just had sex and likely had sex before with Sebastian's good friend that he put through vet school.
I had heard cascos livianos o cascos ligeros before. I think it's very similar to the English expression, sometimes used for a woman, to be round heeled. Cascos is sometimes used to mean hoof or hooves in Spanish. So I'm pretty sure it means that your hooves are light, thus up in the air a lot. So it means someone that it's pretty easy to get their hooves up in the air - on their back - if you know what I mean, and I think you do!
part 1
ah yes, the after glow,
Cami tells Andy all about Eva, Pablo, Betty...
and I owe Eva my life (remember Eva stopped her from jumping)
Virginia gets her first orgasm, forget the ex-husband, she's found true love, and wants more, poor Enrique says he's sore.
and Andy is at the office looking for a new moto, tells Marlene about Armando trying to get back together with Eva, and about Pablo, taking care of Betty that's keeping them apart, Andy gets his raise, and Camila is no longer of any use, so get rid of her, Marlene adds.
Pablo hears about Evencio and heads to the hospital.
Eva and Virginia are crunching numbers as to how low they can lower their rates, Enrique shows and Eva gives them some time alone as she goes to the hospital.
as Pablo leaves the house, Marlene shows up,, she plays the hard line with Betty, that Pablo and Eva are back together, just waiting for the birth to take the baby, oops, Betty is out on the floor, Marlene decides it's Betty's fault, puts a blanket over her and leaves.
a couple of Mon-Sol's clients have returned to take up Marlene's offer, Armando makes a deal with them, stay with Eva and he'll pay the difference under the table, what? but they like doing a favor for Eva.
at the PanchoPan meeting the company is looking up, the 25% salary reduction is saving them money, and Robert is the new advisor, Damian can't understand this at all, but Soraya says trust me.
at the pharmacy Cami is raving about Antonio, Adri asks if she used protection, Cami gets a blank look (ut oh) Adri grabs some stuff off the shelf for her (was there a morning after pill in that), and she runs off, leaving her phone which rings, Adri answers it, it's Andy. Adri keeps quiet and hangs up, later Cami returns the call, Antonio wants to see her again, Adri listens in with that twisted look she does so well.
Pablo questions Evencio about the robbery when Eva arrives, soon followed by the doctor who kicks them out of the room so he can do his exam, they go elsewhere to argue, Eva wants the people that hurt the girls to pay, Pablo doesn't want them to get hurt, but no matter what he tells her she's sure to do the opposite ,,,,, etc. etc, he is just worried, but I'm here, I will always be here, he tells Eva, who gets that smile and says she adores him.
Martin and Rey discuss Federica's case and he suggests Rey do what they did to the chauffeur, go see him and get him riled.
Armando brings Marlene the news about the clients but she already knows, wow, you get your news fast, and then she calls Andy, I think I killed Betty, so he goes and checks, yep, she is still alive, but he leaves her lying there.
Rey goes to see Raul (the vet) (along with Sebastion his cousin they were all best friends and grew up together), Raul is surprised to see him, Rey suggests lunch so they can talk, and later throws out Leyla was boinking the chauffeur and who knows who else, and they are looking for Sebastion's murderers, you know he was a strong swimmer and didn't drink, Raul gets quiet and excuses himself, he has lots of work to do. Rey tells Martin he now suspects Raul as being in on the murder.
part 2
Octavio is off to lunch, puts Cami in charge, and they are in the back room as soon as possible, darn the cabinet is locked, Cami picks it, and it's full of illegal drugs, Adri takes pictures, but wait Octavio left his wallet behind and can't buy his favorite porn magazine, and comes right back, ut oh, Cami locks up the cabinet real quick and hides while Adri rushed out into the store to meddle with things, as he grabs his wallet in the backroom, Adri crashes down a bunch of stuff, and as he comes out to yell at her, Cami gets out of the back room, and doesn't like him yelling at her friend.
they have brought Evencio home and Eva has caught Pablo up on the Furries, he's really worried someone is going to get hurt, especially the young girls, he reviews the pharmacy evidence, the pictures the girls have taken, and gives Marisol a call, who comes over.
as the girls appear in the doorway, Pablo wants them out of it, no problem they say, we just got fired, but they spring the new pictures of the drugs, and this is just what they need to bring him down, Marisol will get on it, Virginia just asks that she be there for the arrest.
Armando talks to one of his guys, the company is doing bad and everyone will have to work longer hours for the same pay, and to spread the word, (Mon-Sol is doing so bad but the owners have money to burn) then he is interrupted by the police, who he introduces to his wife Marlene and his brother-in-law Andy, they are here investigating Eva's complaint of the stolen truck, and Marlene does that thing she has been doing lately where she smiles and gets a little stiff as if this has nothing to do with her but she would sure like to leave.
the cops pick up Octavio's supplier as he is walking down the street.
Martin and Diego get home, Diego is concerned his baby sister is too close to the germs, alerting Martin to the passed out Betty, Martin calls the medics and then Pablo, but wait, Pablo left his phone at Eva's who answers and gets the bad news.
Pablo's police buddies want him back, they like these little stings, but who's that junky, oh it's Marisol on her way to see Octavio, but wait, her phone isn't charged so she leaves it.
and Virginia is getting antsy, what's taking so long, she doesn't want to miss out and heads to the pharmacy (what could go wrong here),
and Betty awakes in the hospital, what am I doing here? oh yea, now she remembers Marlene telling her Pablo was going to take the baby once it was born but says nothing, as the doctora tells her her kidneys are even worse, am I going to die, Betty asks,
(not just now, the doctora answers, we need you to keep Pablo and Eva apart a little while longer)
Just checking in to say hi. Spanish class last night AND another Warriors game, so I didn't watch the novela and prefer not to read recaps when I haven't seen it.
But I'm sure deb, that your recap is chock full of goodies!
