Sueño de Amor (SdA) #75. Tuesday June 28, 2016. Have Faith In Your Dreams, Especially The Ones Where You Don't Die

Hello Patio Pals! We’ll have to make do with a summary until a volunteer takes over this recapping spot.

Kracy calls her kids to taunt them: Did they get a chance to see Filomena, the venomous froggy Mommy left in the house? Ricardo takes the phone away from Rodrigo and forbids Kracy to talk to his kids. He sends a text message to Baxter asking him to locate (ubicar) Kracy’s phone number. Kracy is in Mexico City, comes back Baxter’s answer, almost instantly. Kracy threatens to kill Ricardo with one shot to the forehead. After she hangs up, Ricardo phones Baxter to ask for another “favor”: Please find Cristina’s missing kid and let Tricky Ricky get all the credit and grateful nookie

Ernesto brings Esperanza flowers and accompanies her to church along with Pato and Pedro. In case you’re wondering, no, the walls didn’t bleed when the handsome devil walked into church. A two-minute praying scene to La Virgen de la Paz ensues.

Luca’s baby mama drama continues. Anastasia dodges the DNA test and Ernesto learns that there is a possibility that three-month old Baby Luca is his.

Ricardo informs Cristina that Óscar is in Mexico City. He checked into a hotel this morning but it is unclear whether her daughter, Abril, is with him or not. Cristina lets Ricardo know that Óscar is very well-off (está muy bien parado) and well-connected (tiene muchas influencias); he barely spent two weeks in jail after giving her a beating that nearly killed her.

Murillo obliges Kracy to write a suicide note. You know the drill: “I lost my kids. Nothing else matters. Goodbye cruel world.” He then supposedly “kills” her and sends the photo of her body to Ernesto’s cellphone. I didn’t see him shoot her, I didn’t see her croak, I didn’t see a bullet entry wound and the blood on the floor looks like tomato sauce. Therefore, unless I see her body get cremated or buried in the next episode, Kracy is not dead. The Kracy menace lives on.

Pedro leaves his mom on the eve of her life-threatening surgery to go visit drama-queen Kristel. Eye roll, headshake and then a facepalm.

Ricardo and Cristina confront Óscar, who arrived to his hotel room in the morning, after a night out on the town. The silver-haired hottie maintains that Abril is dead and threatens Cristina and her new beau that they’ll regret this affront. He is untouchable and his revenge will be implacable. For once, Ricardo didn’t lose his head. He removed hysterical Cristina from the room and explained to her that physically assaulting Óscar would not achieve anything.

Esperanza goes in for her 5-hour gastrectomy. In the waiting room, Ernesto comforts her kids. He tells them that he is well aware their mom is all they have but, from now on, they can count on him too. Ernesto promises to always be there for them, for his daughter, Pato, and for his daughter's brother, Pedro, who he now considers a son. He encourages them to remain positive and to send Esperanza all their good vibes, because that’s the attitude of real Guerreros/warriors.

In other Sueñolandia news:

Silvana turns off the water supply when Mario was in the shower, getting ready for his date. He towels off the soap but keeps scratching as a result. He later asks Viviana to be his novia

Erasmo shows up at Casa Guerrero to comfort Pato and help consolidate her breakup from Luca. As promised, he brings quesadillas, which he assures are just scrumptious (están de rechupete). Ernesto can tell Erasmo has the hots for his daughter.

Kristel may be “dying of luuurve” but she still finds the energy to snap at people and act like an insufferable heifer with her little sister and with Pedro.

Adrián is leaving rehab very soon.

A quote from the capítulo

Yo comiendo como troglodita y mi hermana de anoréxica”*

*Salma can’t understand Kristel’s post-breakup hunger strike: “I’m eating like a glutton while my sister acts like an anorexic”

Thanks, Nandicta! Great recap of last night's blah blah! :)

That is the question: Was Murillo loyal to Ernesto or did pull the double cross re: Tracy? I had high hopes when he hit/kicked her in the gut but we have seen stranger things happen . . .

Hey Amigowz! The first half of the title is taken from what Esperanza had written in that little board she has in her bedroom. It said "Have faith in your dreams" ("Ten fe en tus sueños").

What did you think about Kracy's murder?

What did you think about Ricardo's strangely calm demeanor during his confrontation with Cristina's ex-hubby (who is insanely hot, by the way!)? The actor dyed his salt-n-pepper beard, maybe to make himself appear meaner, but I think he looked even better with his grey beard in PyP. Now if he'd only get rid of that dead skunk on top of his head! Love his gorgeous silver mane but that haircut is awful!

Looking forward to reading your thoughts. Toodles!

Ay, Jarifa! You're so right: blah blah, indeed! I'm willing to bet that the entire patio wants Kracy gone! Not sure about the lurkers, but the regular commenters have grown very tired of Kracy and the one-woman circus she has turned into.

More later.

Nandicta, most excellent! the recap was super and the vocabulary outstanding. Great title.

"In case you’re wondering, no, the walls didn’t bleed when the handsome devil walked into church" and "Eye roll, headshake and then a facepalm" were among my favorites.

I missed only a few, fleeting minutes of this and was beside myself that I missed the murder. But, as you noted, apparently I didn't. I did stare at Tracy and wondered if it was staged.

Nandicta and Jarifa, Murillo did not want to murder Tracy. Pure and simple. Now, he obviously has nothing against kicking savagely, but I don't think he had the guts in the end to do it. Am I sorry? Yeah, I have to admit, I've had enough of her hatred.

I don't ever want to see Kristel again. Period. :)

So, is the adorable baby Ernesto's?? This keeps getting more and more complicated...

Nandicta, I have always had a soft spot for Marco - those blue eyes are dazzling. And while I love silver/gray hair on a man, the two tone effect (too long) is not doing it for me either. But to your question, Rick did seem calmer than usual when confronting him.

"The Kracy menace lives on". Yup, sigh...

Diana

Thanks!
I also spotted the board and wrote the ''quote of the day''

That wire hanger thing is very popular, now I saw it in Oscar's hotel room. At least he didn't have a bath tub in the middle of the room.

And speaking about Oscar, I think Marco Méndez is a handsome man, but this time he looks a lot like Alejandro Fernández, who I dislike, so as frivolous as might seem, I am disliking Marco too. This is not his best look.

And speaking of bath tubs in the middle of any room, it could have been so easy to hit Kracy in the head and save a bullet, and then claim she slipped while bathing and died. Isn't that the accidental death that happens very often? Case solved.

And last but not least. Those doctors are very clean and won't probably need to send their scrubs to the laundry or throw away their gloves because they're not spilling any blood!

Thank you, Nandicta!

I haven't seen this episode, but didn't Anastasia leave the baby with Luca? Can't he take the baby and give a sample from him and a sample from himself for the paternity test without Anastasia there? In fact, not having her there would be bound to make it easier? And you could also go to a few different labs in case she's arranged shenanigans with the original plan lab?

Finally finally finally, Esperanza has her surgery and we finally have some movement in that plot. Either she'll die, or she'll be saved, right? Can they reinstall her brain while they're in the operating room?

Julia, Anastasia came back for the baby so Luca does not have it.

Missed his chance! Because he's too dull-witted to think ahead!

Nandicta good summery. I don't think the loco one is dead either. It looks staged.
She should have a big ol hole at the exit of the bullet which they wouldn't show that cuz brains would be just splattered all over stuff. And as wishywashy erny's hit guy is, hey she bought him before, second times a charm. Can't wait to see what happens tonite. Thanks again Nandicta.

Thank you for taking the time to read and comment! Yes to everything you said, especially how adorable Baby Luca is, how stoopid Papa Luca is, how annoying Kristel and Pato are, how gutless Murillo is and how alive Kracy continues to be.
