So sorry to have been absent the past few days...had some (unavoidable) medical tests and hope to catch up today and tomorrow.

I've missed all of you and can't wait to read and savor the summaries and comments.

Yes, Diana, it's good to know that we're not alone in this. For a couple of years I went to a support group meeting every month, but now I don't bother (mainly because it's more than an hour away). And I had survivor guilt. I found that studying Spanish was good therapy. I also took Argentine tango classes, which helped me recover my balance.

Delilah, yes! Paulina Goto made the announcement on her Instagram account, so I guess it's not mere gossip. There are spoilers in her photos, though, so people might not want to look.
 

Just passing through, but glad to read both Diana and Aleta are continuing to do well health-wise. You ladies are incredibly strong and an inspiration, and I'm so happy you continue to be blessed with good health after your scary health struggles.

Hi all. Im glad that all of you that went through your medical storms came through them Ok!!! God is good!!! And yall have good doctors.

Now, these people need some major help. Poor marissa. She must he feeling pretty hopeless, to give that leech a break. She so does not deserve this. Its so unfair that she get this debillatating disease and that leech gets to walk around continuing to make her life a living hell, and her son, and his own daughter. Hes gonna choke on those words he spoke when he said "he wished it was not fernanda but his hija that is the heir" (Im paraphrasing here). I want a front row seat for that. There should be a storm to come and wash, him, isy, hery and mean mariana away. Watchin this week will be like getting teeth pulled. Slowly. I hope we don't loose power because of the storm. But there is Ondemand. Ok thats all for now.

Monday 6/6/16 Part I

We start with reheating of Friday leftovers, Lucero’s mom lays down the I’m-cutting-off-your-financial-allowance smack down before stomping off. Mother Superior Rosauro who witnesses all of this is not happy with the shady shot gun elopement. She expects immature behavior from Lucero, but not Diego a professor who is old enough to know better, but is now acting in her words--like a teenager. I was thinking more like a child molester, but ok. She then turns her stern attention to Pedro and Fer for their shameful participation but it’s sister Sonrisa who gets punished the worst as later we see her scrubbing the office floors on her hands and knees.

Meanwhile Carlos visits a sad Pacquito who is getting three square meals a day at the orphanage, but now only wants to be back with his father (Carlos). Carlos tells him not to get use to being there because soon he’ll be out eating a big cake that Carlos will buy him. Pacquito wants to know specific time frames to which Carlos can only say each day we move forward. It’s not good enough for Pacquito who grows more tearful and says he feels like a bird in a cage. Carlos promises the boy that as he told him before a father never abandons his son.

Lucero sits on the hillside with Fer, regretting only that her mother doesn’t understand her lurrrve for Diego, evidently the money and school don’t matter anymore. Fer (a little late now) advises Lucero to see it from her mother’s side. The secret marriage ceremony is a bit weird. Ya think Fer? Well it’s too late for all that Lucero says, Diego can’t afford this school so she’s going to put her studies aside for now and focus on being a wife. Fer who is concerned but puts on a good face says not to worry they’ll come up with something. Right now Lucero has a new life ahead of her and it will all work out. Rrrriiight. It’s starting to really stink in Denmark.

 

Monday 6/6/16 Part II

Carlos who has to go to work now is met with an even more defiant Pacquito who simply wans his freedom, even back on the street would be preferable to this jail he is in. Carlos tells the boy to not be so desperate, he belongs with Carlos and that’s where he will go when he gets out. A real home with a real family. Carlos assures Pacquito once again that he always keeps his word. He gives the boy a kiss and reminds him that he loves him. He gets a sad face and silence in return. Pacquito is so hopeless that he daydreams himself a grown man still in the orphanage with an elderly and frail Carlos coming to visit him..still making promises repeating “patience Pacquito..patience..patience” then falling fast asleep. His daydream is interrupted when a child supervisor comes in to announce “Let’s go Francisco, you have to get back to your duties” Pacquito doesn’t understand the rush after all he has "all my life to do it” Oh the drama of this kid!

Gobsmacked I tell you! We see Marissa having breakfast with that low down yellow bellied almost ex-huzband of hers. It’s gotta been a brain tumor folks, but we’ll get to that later. Right now we see that Louse is thinking how he wished Marissa was dead He’s formulating an idea and will have Icky meet him at the office so she can help him. Marissa breaks into his thoughts “What are you thinking?” He turns it back on her wondering if she has thought about how this illness is going to change their lives. She says she hasn’t really, she’ll work it out step by step. Right now she’s more struck by how peaceful their first breakfast is…it’s not lavish as other times…just simple and ordinary. It’s obvious that she knows it’s also awkward. He is anxious to put an end to it and says he needs to go to the office. “Aren’t you going to tell me what you were thinking?” She asks again. He throws down the first hand in his sneaky game. “I was thinking about your son, and when he tried to hit me”

Carlos and I are on the same page because he’s talking to his colleagues about his mother’s mental capacity and her ability to make sound decisions.
The doctors say it may just be that she can’t concentrate on things such as her work and Carlos will have to handle those things. What’s of more concern are other health issues that will come along with MD such as diabetes. Carlos plans to bring her in for more testing.

 

Monday 6/6/16 Part III

Luis is still at the breakfast table bumping his lying gums to Marissa. Carlos wanted to beat me up because of that swindler girlfriend of his. Really? Marissa prods, not buying it. Carlos just won’t see her the way I do, Louse continues. She’s only wanting a rich boyfriend. I came into the kitchen and there she was acting like the lady of the manor, ordering Carlita around. I tried to stop it and Carlos ordered me out. I was so concerned about you giving me another chance and so I didn’t want to make the argument bigger so I left. I did it for you Marissa. It appears the few brains cells still working in Marissa’s head are short circuiting as they try to process this pile of shiz. It’s simple Marissa.. Louse is the lyingest liar who ever liared.

Louse is now with Icky and has his plan in motion. He wants to get Marissa to a spa..today. He has the tickets and all Icky has to do is get Marissa there. He has investigated her illness and ice water in contrast to hot weather will accelerate her illness. Louse is sure Marissa would never go on holiday with him so soon, but a girls spa weekend with Icky is for sure a go. He’ll catch up with them on a later flight. But it’s got to be top secret. He doesn’t want any flies in his evil ointment. Well If I do this for you Icky says, then you have to make sure the school girl spends her life in prison. DEAL!

Speaking of locked up, Leo sits on nasty cell floor when Andrea shows up a little to scantily clad for the other cell mates, to see Leo. She’s trying to get him some help but doesn’t know what to do. Well Leo is sure it was Louse and he’s got to defend himself. The charges he’s facing will get him 20 years! His friends have abandoned him and his accounts are frozen. He hates to put this on Andrea but somehow she’s got to get him a lawyer. He’s desperate! She has an idea who can help. Who? He asks. We see her pop at Marissa’s who is none too happy to see her Huzbands hussy. Why you’ve got nerve! Marissa says. Yeah..I do but it’s not for me Andrea says. It’s for Leopoldo.

It seems Don Fer has summoned Louse to his study. He wants Louse to lay off his nurse. Well Don Fer, you don’t know what a swindler she is, she faked a crash and scammed money from me. We have bad history between us. You don’t know the kind of person she is! Don Fer who does not suffer from Major Dummy Disorder, tells Louse he knows exactly the type of person Fernanda is and if he wants to keep working at Don Fer’s he’ll shape up his attitude with her or see his shady ass out. Two snaps and a circle for you Don Fer! Louse looks like he is swallowing down his own bile.

 

Monday 6/6/16 Part IV

Marissa wants to know why Leo didn’t come himself. Well he’s in jail Andrea informs her. Marissa is still holding a grudge about the affair and tells Andrea she heard her and now Andrea should leave while Marissa is still a lady. She has Clarita escort the husband stealer out. Her head is really hurting now.
Ordonez passes Andrea on the way in and wonders if that was….? Yes it was the shameless hussy Marissa confirms. She tells him to find out what is going on with Leo and if Louse is lying and that’s what got Leo arrested. She also wants him to get things in order for the board meeting.

Carlos has brought Fernanda to work and they discuss Marissa. Fer wants to visit her but Carlos gently puts her off. It’s no biggie his mom needs to just rest. Fer wonders if there isn’t more to it.

As Ordonez is about to leave the door bell rings and wouldn’t you know..he passes another hussy on his way out..it’s Icky! She’s come to get Marissa on that murderous spa vacation! You’re going to love it girl!

Carlos tells Fer, okay here’s the deal. My mother has moved that smelly rat back into her life. No divorcio! Fer doesn’t care. Well Carlos doesn’t want Fer encountering that foul stench. Too late, it begins to stink suddenly as Louse comes in from just having finished his meeting with Don Fer. He gloats to Carlos that as he once promised, he is now back as the Lord of the manor in Carlos house. Marissa has stopped the divorce…but then Carlos knew that already. Ya’ll have a nice day now! He slinks off. Now do you see what I mean? Carlos says to Fernanda who clearly gets it now. He leaves as Don Fer comes in to greet Fer. He tells Fernanda that he has told Louse he isn’t to insult her or bother her. She wishes he hadn’t done that. Nonsense Don Fer thinks that a man Louse’s age shouldn’t be bothering a girl her age. He also encourages her to ignore Carlos warning to stay away from Marissa because of Louse. Why her visit is exactly what Marissa needs. Anyone who is sick would appreciate a visit by someone loving and kind like Fer. He playfully order her to go now! Blanca and Amelia who are witness to this exchange, look on both concerned. Louse Montero is the last person they want around Fer.

Carlos is now in Ordonez office. He’s not all that jazzed about taking up the Bank responsibility just yet, it’s too rushed and he think his mother should retain the position. Besides he’s more concerned about that divorce. He wants Ordonez to speak with his mother about getting it moving again. Ordonez doesn’t want to put pressure or have problems with Marissa. Both are skeptical of the rat and don’t believe his sincerity. Carlos lets Ordonez off the hook, he’ll handle it/the rat personally. He knows where to find him
 

Monday 6/6/16 Part V

Louse is not happy at having Andrea blowing up his phone demanding he come to her place. He doesn’t want her anymore. She’s to washed up for him. Yeah well don’t flatter yourself Louse, I only called because of Leo. Yeah well it’s done he’s going to rot in jail. Andrea’s door buzzes. Carlos comes right in, disgusted but not surprised to see the two together.

Fernanda comes bearing apples for Marissa, but Clarita says they’ve left to a spa in the middle of nowhere. Fernanda knows this is something Carlos should know. Should she tell him?

Andrea tells Carlos she’s already paid dearly for falling for the rat, and not to judge her. It’s not what he thinks. Louse then tells Carlos he’s already asked for Marissa’s forgiveness and whether Carlos likes it or not, there is much love between him and his mother. So as they weathered good times, they will now weather the bad. Andrea seems to be incredulous at Louse load of bull. Carlos wonders how long it took Louse to memorize that speech to move his mom…but it doesn’t move him. “Don’t start counting that money, in case my mother dies, you’ll be very disappointed” Carlos strides out. Louse cruelly tells Andrea to stay lost with that loser Leopold. He then gets the call that Icky has convinced Marissa to go on that Spa-cination trip. But they are going commercial, so as not to be tracked on the private plane. They’ll wait for him there. He sneers in satisfaction.

Blanca serves Don Fer tea as she and Amelia express their concerns to him about Fernanda going to Carlos house and seeing that Louse. Don Fer isn’t the least bit worried, Marissa needs to get to know Fer better. Once Marissa gets to know Fer better she’ll see this beautiful generous spirit is the best person for her son Carlos. Amelia and Blanca share a small knowing smile. It’s obvious Don Fer is very astute when it comes to his granddaughters characteristics. He also loves her deeply.

 

Monday 6/6/16 Part VI

Carlos comes home…ruh roh! Whaddaya mean my mom isn’t here? She’s got tests tomorrow and beyond that she needs rest. Where is she?

We see Icky and Marissa at this spa. It’s new age and all about nature there. She breaks the news that Louse is coming too, he’s going to love it and it will be a second honeymoon. Pity she couldn’t come with Carlos. But she just knows they’ll be together again soon.

Fer and Carlos are now discussing his mother’s disappearance, he’s deeply concerned about her. He’s already called her several times.

Louse is now at the spa, laying it on thick to Marissa who is now being treated to the steam conditions and becoming more and more shaky, weak and confused. He gives her a glass of ice cold water. My love lets shut away the world and turn off our cell phones. He gently pries it from her as he kisses her.

I guess it was long travels from burnt out grounds to the bachelor pad because we see Diego the kiddy-napper carrying Lucero across his swept threshold still in boda attire. Blah blah our new life..love…kisses.

Carlos and Fer discuss where Marissa could be. Well they’ll google it…they’ll look high and low and to all the deserts! Carlos just wonders why she didn’t tell him. All Fer knows is it’s a spa in the middle of nowhere.

Bride and groom are dining and drinking. Oh but she’s too young to have wine he says, you’re a child. So I can get married but not drink? She downs the vino in one gulp. He is trying to cultivate her or is it seduce her.. with wine and cheese. Yeah he’s creepy Lucero, RUN!!! But it’s too late they get to the consummating of this unholy union. Gross!

Marissa is becoming more confused, but somewhere in the fog she knows it’s wrong. He’s a liar a cheat. Louse pushes, we love each other. He’s so close. Marissa resists, why do you resist? Because something inside me tells me this reconciliation is all a mirage brought on by my sickness . BAM! Marissa drops the mic folks!


 

Delilah, you are a splendid storyteller. I enjoyed every single word.

"reheating of Friday leftovers" and "Don Fer who does not suffer from Major Dummy Disorder" were among many favorites.

"Marissa resists, why do you resist? Because something inside me tells me this reconciliation is all a mirage brought on by my sickness . BAM! Marissa drops the mic folks!" Oh dear. I wanted to reach through the scene and shake Marissa and yell snap out of it (Moonstruck style). He was her bewitched and bewildered. Truly stomach churning!!

In watching Luis' foul antics, I can't wait for him to find out who he is totally dissing and dismissing (thinking she is a low life urchin), is actually his daughter!

Does Diego have a bedroom? If so I missed it. I couldn't figure out what the room they were in actually is. A living room? Does he have a pull out bed? Were they going to lie on the floor or that pitiful table? Inquiring minds want to know.

Didn't Carlos tell Fernanda at some point that one of the symptoms of Marissa's illness is that it affects her nervous system, clouding her judgment? It must be that, folks! It's obvious her brain is not working well, otherwise she wouldn't have taken this idiot back! This doesn't seem like a "reconciliation" to me though, she doesn't even let him touch her. She seems confused more than anything else. Poor woman.

Like Carlos, I think some further testing needs to be done on Marissa. In my mind, MD does not explain all the symptoms she is displaying. I hope that they can come up with something that is fixable, as apparently Diana and Aleta did. (Bless both of you and good luck on your prognosis.)

Okay, I have to admit that I thought Diego and Lucero were going to be something special, but last night for the first time I got an icky feeling about what was going on. You ladies all beat me to the punch. There was one instance where Diego's facial expression pegged out the icky gauge.

I was born in (for 1947) special circumstances, which is to say that my birth did not occur within the sanctity of marriage. Thus, real card-carrying bastards like Fernanda and myself chuckle when self-make bastards like Luis and Mariana refer to US as bastards.

Also, Diana as you pointed out, what is with that bachelor pad? Are they going to do some consummating under the table, or what?

Since Mariana has not been dosing don Fer with her pills, he seems to be doing so much better. Hope that continues for a while.

Yesterday was June 6th, the 72nd anniversary of the D-Day landings. Hats off to those brave guys.

Diana, I can barely stomach Louse either. I just don't get the fascination with this chump. He's not all that. I have a bad feeling about Marissa, she's clearly deteriorating. I can't wait for Louse fall into hell.

David, thank you for reminding us of those who have bravely sacrificed. I'm glad you noticed that something is creepy with Diego. We have a Just say no to Luce and Diego table set up. I'll get you a drink and basket of nachos w/Salsa. Spicy or mild?

Lucy, you could be right that the illness is just affecting her nervous system and clouding things for her. I can't believe how cruel Icky is to go along with this diabolical plan to harm Marissa. She can't possibly love Carlos, if she did hurting his beloved mother would be the last thing on her mind. She needs to pay as well for all her schemes and lies against Marissa and Fer.

Dy, I'w with you, I have no desire to see Diego and Lucero make it legal. I want her mother to come in and grab her daughter and get her out of there.

One small addition to the recap that might be important:

When Icky and Marissa were at the spa talking while on tour of the New Age Spa. Marissa made reference to signing something whenever Icky wanted her to. I don't know if a scene was cut out or if we will find out tonight what she signed. It could be a nothing scene. But I thought it worth mentioning in case it comes back.

Tofie, you're right. The scene with grownup Pacquito was hilarious. The actor looks familiar. Was he the sleazy pizza parlor owner in Corazon Indomable?

David, I agree Diego's expression was rather icky, but I couldn't tell if he was concerned about the apartment still being a mess (I imagine Lucero opening a closet door and dirty clothes tumbling out) or if he's feeling guilty about hiding something.

But then the words he spoke when they were looking at stars through the skylight made me more suspicious. I can't remember exactly what he said, but it was something to the effect of "when you look at the stars, remember me." Maybe he has a terminal illness instead of a family in another city. Whatever it is, Lucero is going to be left high and dry.

EPISODE 73 (Tuesday, June 7, 2016), Part 1

Tonight's recap from me will be a bit shorter. Our local captions didn't work properly and I'm pressed for time so I was distracted - apologies for whatever I missed! Please fill in wherever needed.

- Yikes, Lucero is deflowered on an air mattress by Diego. I told you I was not looking forward to that. Next!

- Luis tries to plant seeds of distrust in Marissa about Carlos.

- Diego wakes up Lucero with breakfast in bed. Their blanket is a very cool chunky knit.

- Javier/Fernanda discuss Pedro and how he's doing better. Javier is going away for three weeks to help others elsewhere (I didn't catch where).

- Clarita and Carolos are looking over something on his computer with a pear straight out of an iCarly episode. Carlos expresses concern he can't reach Marissa.

- Amelia/Don Fernando/Hernan/Blanca are all getting ready to go to an event for something construction-related.

- Lucero does laundry and ironing, badly, to ominous music.

- Pedro worries about Fer. Jose worries about Pedro.

- Carlos and Fer are in a helicopter heading to rescue Mariana from the spa.

- Isabella, Marissa and Luis are laying out by the pool, although I would say Isy and Luis are not really letting Marissa relax. They leave Marissa for a few minutes and she gets up, a bit disoriented. She stumbles over a lawn chair and into the pool, where she starts to drown!

- Carlos and Fer are being their lovey dovey selfs in the helicopter and he mentions something about her becoming his wife. As they fly over the desert, the helicopter suddenly makes a lurching awful noise and jerking motion. All the instruments go nuts, alarms go off and the pilot declares an emergency landing.
 

EPISODE 73 (Tuesday, June 7, 2016) Part 2

- Back at the spa, Luis spots Marissa and lets her bobble a bit. But then a random man spots her and goes in to save her, so Luis must pretend to see her and dives in to do his best Baywatch imitation.

- The helicopter landed safely in a clearing and for reasons I don't understand, Carlos insists on continuing on foot. (I gather he's looking to save his mother, but he has no idea where he is.) Fer goes with him. Of course they get lost in the desert.

- Back at the spa, David Hasselhoff - er Luis - fails to perform CPR on Marissa and settles for slap-patting her cheek until she sputters out the water. Luis tells the random man that they don't need a doctor and he will help Marissa.

- Still lost in the desert, but it turns out Fer is the survivalist of the pair, and she leads them down a path, with intermittent kissing, of course.

- Mariana checks in with Camila for her intermittent nagging of Camila to pursue Carlos. I didn't quite understand this conversation, but basically Camila will pursue Carlos.

- At the construction event, everyone is glad to see Don Fernando, and Hernan seethes about it. They ask Don Fernando to give some remarks. He starts to, but has trouble with words and becomes disoriented. It accelerates quickly, as he doesn't recognize anyone but refuses help.

- Marissa is starting to feel better, so here come Luis and Isy. Luis goes to fetch her meds and of course switches them out with similar looking tablets that I'm sure have horrible side effects. Sadly, Marissa takes the fake tablets.

- Hernan scolds Amelia about Don Fernando. They all try to calm Don Fer down and get him out of there.

- Pedro is worried because Fernanda has not returned home. Jose and Rosaura reassure him.

- Carlos and Fer realize they are stranded for the night. So they find a clear space and make a little campfire. Fer is the one with the know-how on this.

- Uh, oh, Marissa is feeling much worse. She tells Luis and Isy she's feeling weaker and then falls asleep. Isy slips out to call Carlos, but is caught by Luis who begins to scold her for it.

- Carlos and Fer are lying by the campfire, whispering their love chatter and exchanging besos. He takes one of her Princess Leia buns down (THANK YOU CARLOS, NOW PLEASE GET THE OTHER ONE) and proclaims his love. Their love song swoons, they kiss deeply, the fire burns, the kiss gets deeper and the fire burns more. I think we all may know where this is going...

- Luis continues to upbraid Isy and threatens her.

- Carlos and Fer are so in love and they are going to make love. She reassures him she wants to and she's not afraid. The kissing gets even more intense as romantic music plays and the end credits roll.

Avances: Mariana checks in with fellow villains Isy and Luis. Repeat of the last Carlos/Fer scene.

p.s. Not sure who is recapping Wednesday? If needed, I can do it, but I can't watch it until sometime on Thursday.
 

By the way, I was laughing at two props in this episode - Carlos' ridiculous laptop with the pear on it, and the chunky knit blanket which Carlos and Fer have and that was also used by Diego and Lucero. Jokes to be made about this blanket...

"Lucero does laundry and ironing, badly, to ominous music" and "Back at the spa, Luis spots Marissa and lets her bobble a bit. she leads them down a path, with intermittent kissing, of course" were among many favorites.

Luis was going to let Marissa drown. He is totally disgusting and reprehensible. Vermin.

It appears Isy still has a bit of humanity left as she wanted to alert Carlos. While glad he and Fer are enjoying a bit of intimacy, I don't like it that his mother is away from his protection.

Poor Don Fer! What a terrible time for him to lose his place so to speak. It must be terrible not to recognize your family and equally as upsetting for them.

Have I said how much I dislike Hernan? Shiver.

Lucero made quick work of decimating Diego's wardrobe in one fell swoop didn't she? Alas, she seems ill suited to laundry duty. And, also, didn't she drop the iron on the floor? I certainly hope the newlyweds' swanky digs don't burn down one day into the marriage.

Thanks, dy, you explained a lot that I missed. I have a hearing problem and depend completely on the CCs. They were so bad last night, out of sync, and missing vast amounts of dialogue. I hope that whoever was responsible for this fiasco will be invited to seek employment elsewhere.

Oh, boy, Lucero. She isn't too smart (that's why she and Diego got together in the first place; he was tutoring her) AND she has no domestic skills. I can't wait to see what she cooks for supper. I would suggest something that only involves boiling water, like spaghetti, and some off the shelf sauce.

Don Fer's clothes seem to be designed by the wardrobe department to be too big and baggy, as though they are trying to convey that he is sick and losing weight.

Isy is geting a conscience? Who would have thunk?

And our dear Louie the low lying louse. I could never understand why a person would murder their spouse when they could just get divorced if they couldn't get along. But Louie shows us why; some people are totally incapable of feeling, and are inept at supporting themselves.

What was Carlos thinking, walking off from the helicopter landing site??? Rule one in crash survival is stay at the crash site. After wandering around all day, they arrive at a place in the middle of nowhere that has a swing??? Fer certainly has an upbeat personality. So they are going to really get together? There has been a lot of smooching, but not much touching and petting leading up to this. I guess there are no mosquitos at their camp site.

Thanks! LOL David! No Zika concerns on their part, I guess! I found that dumb on their parts to leave the site as well. Manuel Landeta, the guy playing Hernan, is also playing a bad guy on Amor de Barrio and he was a really bad guy on Mar de Amor. He gets that mean evil vibe going for his character. Yet, for me, Luis is the worst of the worst out of a lot of competition on this show. The captions were truly awful last night; I definitely missed a lot of things, I suspect.




 

Thanks for the detailed recap, dy77! I never noticed the air mattress, chunky knit blanket, or pear logo on the laptop. Let's hope Lucero doesn't drop the hot iron on the air mattress. I had no idea that boarding schools took care of the students' laundry; no wonder the girls in this TN have so much time to plot and scheme. I've done my own laundry since childhood, ever since my mom washed something red with my whites.

Manuel Landeta is a good villain. He also played Teobaldo, the hunchback in the sailor suit, on Corazon Indomable.

It looked like Luis had a moment where he considered saving Marissa, but he chose the dark side. Maybe Issy's anvil will be smaller.
 

Dy this was a good recap. You got all the bullet points. Maybe the prop department laundry lady didn't finish the laundry in time for fer and carlos' love scene in the lost forest of luurve. Now we are not suppose to notice thats the same chunky blanket so yall just forget you saw it before, lol :-D. Becides they can have more than one blanket on the set that looks just like the one that was on their bed. Maybe!?!?!

I'm so late. Well wishes and prayers to Aleta and Diana. I'm on west coast time so I didn't know what time to watch until today but it didnt matter because I was out so I love that Delilah and dy gave vivid recaps.

He's the lyingnest liar that ever liared LOL!! Describes him perfectly and it was funny.

Awe shucks looks like someone else is about to consummate a relationship.

I did see the two are real life novios but I'm sorry I did because there were a few spoilers and I didn't resist. I stopped myself from seeking more but I saw stuff...ugh!

Episode 74 (June 8, 2016)

I didn't watch as I was out and the DVR recording was deleted by the kids. Grrr. Thought I would get some bullet points to start us off and everyone can fill in the gaps.

So, from Twitter and YouTube:

- Luis and Mariana have cooked up a plan to use Camila to give some sort of complaint to the police about Fernanda. Camila does this.
- Carlos and Fernanda definitely did the deed. If you look this up on YouTube, you will get a million spoilers.
- Carlos and Fernanda reached the spa and took Marissa to the hospital, where the doctors advised Carlos to take her to a specialist in Houston, which Iggy and Carlos do. Carlos did not have a chance to tell Fernanda this before they left. Carlos asks Iggy to prepare legal documents for him to marry Fernanda.
- Fernanda told Pedro about the helicopter crash and Marissa, and that she and Carlos are in love.
- Birthday party for Pedro. The happy occasion is interrupted by two police cars and the police, with Luis in tow, announce they are there to arrest Fernanda. (I am not sure for what.) Fer struggles with the police and declares her innocence. Pedro is besides himself and Luis is his awful, arrogant, taunting, horrible self.

Thank you Dy. I was able to watch this morning after getting my hubby to the airport I've managed to put together a recap!

Wednesday 6/8/16 Part I

We pick up with Carlos and Princes Leia laying fireside experiencing their own internal heat. Carlos wants to make sure his princess is fine and not afraid. Pffft..she fears nothing…especially when she is with him. Well he wants her to be sure, because they can wait, he would wait forever. He is the love of her life, she loves him so much, at times it is so much she doesn’t know what to do with it. Carlos lowers Fernanda gently back prepared to make her formally his. It’s no air mattress, but it appears under Carlos lips, Fernanda is floating on a cloud.

Meanwhile Helicopter father Pedro is checking on Fer, he has his buddy Jose ring the Altamirano Manor where meanie Mariana informs Jose that Fer is out on a date with Carlos. “You know how dates are…they can take forever. I wouldn’t wait for her” Her voice is dripping with unsavory implications. Jose tries to put Pedro off with an itty bitty lie. “She wasn’t there, she had already left” Pedro isn’t buying it telling Jose he’s a terrible liar. “She’s with Carlos right? She’s with him” He becomes agitated as Jose gives a simple nod confirming Pedro’s wild fears. Well it’s not going to stand like that, Carlos is going to hear from him. Later he lays in bed fretting that Fer is with Carlos on a walk. She is a grown woman now. He can’ t stand it….he can’t believe it..and he won’t support it. Just like he’s afraid Luis Montero will tell her one day he is her real father and she will stop being Pedro’s daughter. Pedro lays anguished by his thoughts.

Amelia and Hernan bring a rattled and confused Don Fer home. He has no clue where he is or who MeanieAna is. The two sisters and Hernan begin arguing over Don Fer’s deteriorating health. Amelia wants to call Carlos, while Meanie and Hernan tell Amelia she needs to chill out and accept that this is all part of Don Fer’s Alzheimers . Well she doesn’t like that Carlos is his doctor but it is what it is. She’s going to call him to come right away. They begin bickering back and forth until Blanca comes in and says “BASTA!”

 

6/8/16 Part II

Icky is panicked and bursts into Marissa’s room. She saw the news and they said one of the banks choppers made an emergency landing close by. She confirmed with Clarita that Carlos was coming. Luis thinks how lucky he would be if got rid of mother and son in one shot. Well Icky is not feeling this plan. She has an sudden attack of conscience. “You have some respect Luis!” She can’t bear that Carlos may have died because of her.
Well not too worry Icky, viewerville can assure you he is not dead. His pulse is strong and the boy has stamina for days! “Our love is the best thing that has ever happened to me” Fernanda says to which Carlos responds “To you and me, because our love is intense!” Yowza! I think that means they don’t need anymore fires to keep warm. Carlos and Fer going in for another round of sweet lovemaking. Pedro would be having a stroke, this is no innocent walk.

Icky is regretting her part in Marissa’s demise and wants to take Marissa to a hospital but Luis says no. He can’t wait to give her the news that her son is missing. He shoo’s her out the door and then gloats over sleeping Marissa that her son might be dead and she’s an old sick woman in his hands.

Back at the fireside Carlos and Fer bask in the afterglow of their lovemaking. “Your mine now forever” Carlos says. They discuss marriage and Fer thinks she’s too young. Carlos says it’s perfect, they’ll be young and strong while their children are growing. They resume their lovemaking as the sun rises. Marissa who? Pedro who? Yeah these two are lost alright! ;)

Icky is back in Marissa’s room again. She thinks this is getting out of hand. Marissa hasn’t woken up. Luis lies and says she did and they organized their lives. Bull! Says Icky. Luis wants her to get lost and stop bothering him. She vows she’s not leaving until Carlos is found.

Pedro who has now become super annoying is fretting while gardening that Amelia got to Fer and told her the truth about him not being her father. Jose and Rosaura tell him to calm down and stop talking like that. Rosaura says she’ll go to Altamirano Manor and get the truth. Pedro says they’ll both go. They try to dissuade him but he says it’s about his daughter don’t they get it?

 

6/8/16 Part III

Don Fer is getting worse, he has no idea who anyone is why they have him in that house. Amelia and Blanca try to tell him who they are but he doesn’t trust them. He is disheartened by what they tell him. He doesn’t know anyone or anything. “Perhaps I am better of dead..I’m about to go crazy” Amelia kisses her poor father while out in the hall MeaniAna reads Luis for not answering his phone. She’s been trying to get in touch with him about her father’s health. She reported Fernanda for her bad practices and care of her father. Luis is pleased finally he’ll get his revenge on that scammer. Suddenly the call is interrupted on Luis end when Carlos accompanied by a glowing Fer comes in surprising Icky and Luis. They find Marissa still out and Carlos attacks Luis “You jerk, I knew you were behind all of this. Look at the state my mother in!”

Icky says she only wanted to get Marissa out for fresh air. Carlos is furious that no one consulted him. He unloads both barrels on Louse and Icky “You’re both thoughtless and irresponsible” the ruckus causes Marissa to awaken to Carlos relief. She says it is hard to stay awake. Carlos tells his mother she is going to be fine he’s arranged for an ambulance to transfer her.

Back at Alta Manor, Meanie and bitchy argue again about Don Fer’s health. Rosaura comes in looking for Fer. Meanie implies to both Amelia and Ro that Carlos stayed out all night, most likely because she spent the night with Carlos.

A time of passage has evidently occurred because Marissa is now back at the clinic where Dr. Artaega examines his patient. Icky and Louse are told to stay out. While at her bedside.

Fer arrives back home, the spring in her step becomes a walk of shame as Rosaura greets her. “You didn’t come home last night Fernanda” But Pedro says he’ll handle it from here.
“Where were you Fernanda? Where did you spend the night? Where? With who?”

Artaega tells Carlos they’ll do all the necessary screenings. Macias chimes in that they can’t waste anymore time. Carlos turns to Louse who is somehow suddenly in the room; grabbing him by the expensive lapels Marissa has paid for. “I swear If my mother dies, I’ll kill you, you bastard. I swear I’ll kill you”

Fer continues to be interrogated. He tells Rosaura to leave him with his daughter. Rosaura doesn’t think it’s a good idea because he might do something crazy. Oh Ro he rounded the crazy eppy’s ago. Fer tries to explain that they were looking for Marissa, she was in a chopper with Carlos and it went down. Pedro isn’t buying it…when suddenly sister Sonrisa comes running happy to see Fer alive and well. She confirms to crazy Pedro and Ro that she heard on the news about the troubled helicopter going down. Pedro who feels bad for not trusting his daughter, apologizes and hugs Fer.

 

6/8/16 Part IV

Back at the hospital Icky and Louse discuss the turn of his luck. Carlos is all over it again. Well Carlos takes care of his mother Icky says. Louse should just back up his toys and leave. He’s not budging he says. Louse suddenly gets another call from MeanieAna. Everything is in place, Cami has given her sworn statement and things are lining up against the scammer. Louse is pleased, at least some thing are going right. They hang up as Cami comes in wondering who Meanie was chatting with. She lies that she has to go home, Don Fer is sick. Cami is regretting that sworn statement, but Meanie assures he with that move, Fer will respect Cami now.

Artaega tells Carlos that Marissa Is experiencing a new symptom, difficulty breathing. It is an anomaly of the brain. The spa didn’t help. They need an expert, he is in Houston. Carlos wants her mother to see him asap!

Amelia who doesn’t know Fer is alright and home, worries her history is going to repeat with Carlos and Fer if they slept together. Luis raised Carlos after all. Blanca isn’t buying any of that nurture verus nature bs. Carlos is a good man. Amelia is also thinking of Pedro, it’s his birthday.

We see that Pedro is being treated to special son by his beloved Fer back at their freshly painted house. She brings out a large bouquet of balloons and they sit on their expansive porch and discuss a party for Pedro. He notices she is suddenly a bit sad. She would like Carlos there but she knows how Peddro feels. She respects it. They also talk about Marissa and how Carlos will be destroyed if he loses his mother.

Carlos is with a lucid Marissa now. He knows it was Luis and Icky who caused this but she doesn’t want him blaming them. They need to stick together, besides she wanted to go. Luis plays the loving peaceful husband. He will be with her in Houston. Carlos leaves to see about the ambulance as Louse looks over a sleeping Marissa. There is evil in his eyes.
 

6/8/16/ Part V


Luis encounters Mariana in the hallway. He informs her he can only ratify the statement and then he has to go to Houston. He informs her of Marissa’s condition. He looks over the paperwork against Fer and is pleased. “The moment I’ve been waiting for, the scammer won’t see the sun for years”

Leo is free and Andrea is happy. Ordonez was able to get him out but Leo isn’t staying. He has no desire to be near Luis. The announcement upsets Andrea, but he invites her along. She says yes “I’d follow you to the ends of the earth to be by your side” He is incredulous that she would say yes. They seal their plans with a kiss.

Lupe and Ordonez talk about Marissa, it’s awful. Ordonez has handled all the arrangements for Marissa’s transport. He gets the passports and tells Lupe to hold down the fort and pray for everyone. They’re going to need it

Ordonez is now with Carlos and Marissa in Houston, Texas USA. Dr Espinoza is the best specialist in the world for MD. He is going over her diagnosis. Evidently this sort of illness appears in childhood not a woman of Marissa’s age. It’s strange. Carlos thanks Ordonez for arranging everything. Carlos worries that Fer has not been informed of Carlos sudden departure to Houston. Ordonez assure Carlos that Lupe will pass along the info.

Fer is happily at her new house decorating for Pedro’s party. Friends arrive to celebrate. It seems Pedro forgot to put in proper stairs because sister Sonrisa and Rosaura have to be carefully guided up on rocks to the porch. Fer is so happy and she feels all the bad is behind them now. She decides to call to check up on Don Fer to see if he is back for Guadalajara. Meanie informs her that he is back and better than ever. Fer apologizes for not showing up to work, but it’s her father’s birthday and they are having a party. Meanie tells her not to worry, enjoy! They hang up and Meanie call Louse. The scammer is at her house. It's all systems go!

 

Boy oh boy Delilah...that was a picture you painted! I tried to give Cami the benefit of my doubt but being talked into a lie at the age of 20 by a bitch you don't even like is too much for me to get over. Her dad making her do it (reprehensible, but ok) you dont even like that witch so how? I would not forgive this.

Steve-my blood boils too. I can imagine that smug a** grin now.

Well looks as if I have to wait another day...flight delays ugh
 

6/6/16 Part VI

Pedro is enjoying his party and Fer wishes they had done this long ago, but Pedro says now is what matters. He thanks everyone for being there, and even creepy Prof and his drop out bride are there. Its’ a good time with silly party hats until a caravan of legal authorities come pulling on to the grounds, A man gets out. He yells up trying to break through the noise.
“Good afternoon…Good afternoon!”
“Good afternoon. How can I help you?” Asks Pedro
“Is Miss Fernanda Perez here?”
“Yes, that’s me..what is it?”
“Im Inspector Medina, I’m here to arrest you”
“What?” Asks Pedro
“You’re accused of bad practices when taking care of an ill person and fraud”
“What? Bad practice? fraud? You’re nuts” replies Fer.
Just then Louse gets out of the second car.
“You’re the one who is nuts the day you tried to swindle me!” He strides toward them full of arrogance and power.
“What did you do to my daughter you bastard?” Pedro asks putting a protective arm around Fer.
“It was her who messed with me, the day she tricked me. I told her I ‘d collect and the day has come!” Louse says arms wide open ready to receive his full payment by watching Pedro and Fer suffer.

Carlos who is unware of the trouble that has come for Fer, continues to fret to Ignacio about Marissa. He worries because he is not with her as she undergoes her tests. Ordonez assure him she is in the best hands. Carlos asks Ordonez to get the paper work ready so he can marry Fernanda when he returns to Mexico.

Back at the house, chaos is erupting as Fer is pulled off the porch and out of Pedro’s arms. She is handcuffed and dragged to a car as Pedro is held back by Diego and Jose. He is ready to kill Louse as Fer protests claiming she is innocent. Pedro screams for them to let him go. Louis will pay for this. Well you’ll be arrested to, Louis threatens. Fer plead for her father to calm down. Pedro breaks free and is off the porch swing Louis around and ready to punch him before he is stopped by Jose and Diego. Fer yells from the backseat for Rosaura to take care of her father…all will be figured out. Louis comes to the car “ All criminals say that, some get out, but you won’t. Prepare yourself, Fernando Perez, prepare yourself to spend the best years of your life in jail. Take her away!” He turns to give a victorious salute to Pedro who is still held back.

“Bastard, Bastard!"Pedro screams as he breaks free running to the edge of the property..but it is too late. " Damn you... that man destroyed my life over and over again. The first time with Amelia and now with Fernanda” Pedro sobs and crumbles to the ground as the cars pull from his vision and off his property carrying his beloved Fernanda away. "Dear! Fernanda!”

A question was asked earlier about why Fer is being arrested, and you covered it well: She is being arrested because she committed fraud in the accident, and she is being accused of switching don Fer's meds. Camila is committing perjury on the second charge, and, sadly, will come to regret it, I think.

Well, Fer didn't want to lie to Pedro about her evening's activities with Carlos, and Sr. Sonrisa saved her bacon by telling everyone that the helicopter went down, and she's so glad Fer is alive. This still doesn't answer Pedro's question, but he's so happy that she's alive that he forgets about his obsessive, controlling worries.

Somehow, Carlos' departure to Houston will be spun into a point of friction between Carlos and Fer, I think.

I am constructing an anvil for Luis. Every time I see the little (insert here your favorite derogatory word) I weld on another 5 lb ingot.

I wonder how long Fer will languish in jail?

I have never gotten into sports of any kind, and especially not soccer. I really don't like it when they pre-empt our stories for silly stuff like that.

I keep seeing Fernanda's face in my mind's eye as she was torn from her home and her beloved father. I was annoyed and quickly losing my patience with Pedro but I have to admit, it appears he has good reasons for his frequently uttered fears regarding Luis. And he is right. Luis has now decimated the family. Twice. Die Luis Die.

I'm thinking that Fernanda's arrest might lead Amelia to reveal the truth (?) She can't have her daughter languishing in jail because of vengeance by her biological father.

"Luis thinks how lucky he would be if got rid of mother and son in one shot". Yes, it's a shame Marissa, Carlos, Fernanda and Pedro were not all killed at once! Ack.

David, I also loved how Sr. Sorisa saved Fer from Pedro's wrath on hearing Fer was with Carlos. Sometimes secrets are better left as such.

I agree with you David, Carlos being in Houston is going to cause problems. I noticed Ordonez said that Lupe would pass along the info, but she's loopy Lupe in my opinion and I see her dropping the ball on this one. There's a reason Fer/Carlos sealed the deal fireside and now suddenly he has had to leave to the US. It's going to appear he left Fer, I'm sure and Icky will be all over it for sure to make sure Fer misunderstands the situation. Grrr!

I also don't know how Amelia keeps her mouth shut up Fer's true identity. I can't wait for Luis to get his karma in spades for all he has done to Pedro, Marissa and now Fer. There is no way after all of this that Fer would want anything to do with her bio father.

I understand why Pedro is protective of Fer against Luis, but I still think he's a bit clingy and an overbearing helicopter father. If he and Amelia had just been truthful with her, much of this could have been avoided. Luis would know who she is and would not have had her arrested. Mileage varies, but in my opinion Pedro and Amelia bear some fault in this. They set Fer up to be completely defenseless against Luis by lying to her. It was better all along she know her real father and what he really is...a low class, lying gold digging chump.

Delilah, you stated (perfectly)how I've been feeling but you gave it depth and dimension.

I fervently believe Pedro wanted to protect his daughter but there was a healthy portion of ego in the mix. He didn't want Luis to take Fernanda away from him. And now the police have done just that.

Amelia is culpable for so very much. While I loathe the fact she taunted Fer (not all that long ago) that Pedro wasn't her father, do we know the motivation behind her not revealing Luis' identity? Was it selfish and self serving or was she trying to shield Fernanda. Perhaps a bit of both.

Amelia's vacant stare puzzles me 99% of the time. But, perhaps it's best her eyes aren't a mirror to her soul. Perhaps we would shudder at what we might find...

Diana, I stated awhile back that while I like Pedro, I feel he is a bit possessive of Fernanda. He loves her to the depth of his soul, but he wants her to love him and only him in the paternal sense. He isn't secure enough in what he's given her all her life to believe she won't abandon him for Luis. It's sad but selfish for sure.

As for Amelia, I believe she did and does love Fer, but mixed in is a resentment that Fer's birth destroyed her relationship with her father and the loss of Luis. As she grew, I think Amelia hated that Pedro could love Fernanda so unselfishly and doted on her, perhaps reminding her of what she'd once had with her father and lost because of Fer. I think the relationship between Pedro/Fer reminded her of what she had with Don Fer and she resented that Fer was no enjoying it with Pedro. As for Carlos, I think again Amelia saw herself at the age Fer is, falling in love with Luis. Her youth was lost, years passed and she was without the man she loved while Fer was enjoying the unselfish unspoiled love of Carlos. So much bitter resentment was heaped on Fer.
 

Dear Amiguis--I'm back to join in the fun and/or exasperation with our characters.

First and foremost, all my best to our two survivors of what were major health crises. You are to be commended for your strength and fortitude in the face of such serious diagnoses. I hope Marissa can join you in the near future.

The recaps have been wonderful. I hope Dy and Delilah will continue to do recaps. I can tell you right now I've crashed and burned on 5 days a week. Just can't do it anymore.

David--I know you can do a recap. How about joining the team once a week or once every-other week? Dy and Delilah--what do you say? Can you each take at least one night a week? The Copa America is sure to shave down the number of episodes shown during the week, but it will also extend the run probably into August.

One of you mentioned that Mexico is up to Epi #93--that's a month ahead of us. And thanks for clueing us in on the #it'sforrealP&H. I can't tell you when I've enjoyed watching the leading characters falling in love on screen so much. No, I can, it was Silvia and Cristian in Amor Bravio. He's a pathetic schmuck in what I've seen in Sueno. But then to know that Paulina and Horacio were not always acting adds a little spice.

I just wish that Pedro and Marissa could have continued their close contact after his physical therapy sessions after he fell out of the tree. They seemed to be getting closer then. She visited him what, once while he was in the psychiatric clinic and he visited her once in the hospital and it didn't go so well.

The comments really rounded out the whole time I couldn't watch. It's great to have all these extra eyes watching and catching little nuances. I almost don't have to watch--but I will. I must see the knit blanket thing and of course what I've been waiting for--and fearful about--Fer and Carlos making love for the first time. [Diego and Lucero--who?]

David--Please keep us informed on how heavy Luis' anvil is getting. It may get so heavy they'll need a giant crane to lift it a few inches off the ground.

Yep, Houston. Calling Houston, Come in Houston. Our Camino faves are in for some problems. Fer incommunicado, Marissa can't help--she's part of the problem, Pedro certainly isn't going to help them communicate, neither will Icky and Luis. If Lupe fails, will Ordonez help? Carlos is going to try, so what is it going to be to prevent him. It's not like it was a secret she was hauled away in the caravan of police cars. And just how does Luis get to do a ride-along with them?

Delilah & Dy--I will start things off doing the Monday recap. It'll actually be nice to do one after my hiatus. Graduation was very emotional. This is the "baby" of the family.
 

Delilah--Excellent insight. You've distilled the relationship between Amelia/Luis/Don Fer & Amelia/Pedro/Fer & Carlos perfectly. Amelia's love for Fer was a long time coming, though.

Remember how she rejected her right after she was born and wanted to put her up for adoption? Pedro refused to let that go forward. It was months before she would even touch her, as I recall. We all were hoping someone would suggest seeing a counselor or doctor for her post-partum depression. If she ever loved Fer, she certainly never showed it. Most of the time she was seen slapping Fer for what Amelia considered indiscretions that reflected badly on her as a mother.

I think we only got one or two scenes before she left the shack that she told Fer she had and did love her. It was certainly news to Fer, though.
 

Anita, so happy you are back!

Glad you enjoyed the graduation and hope your visit was wonderful all the way around.

Your "Fer incommunicado, Marissa can't help--she's part of the problem" gave me pause. Marissa and Pedro's relationship was nipped in the bud. A respectful and tender friendship that may have blossomed was cut short by not so divine intervention - Luis and catastrophic illness. One and the same?

As Anita noted, you nailed the primary relationships here perfectly Delilah. Well stated.

I'm impatient to see what transpires next.

I don't blame you for wanting to ease up on the recaps, they are fun, but do require time and involvement. I so appreciate all you have done for us Anita, without you this patio would not be as full and fun as it is. You have been the glue that binds us through this novela.

I am happy to be part of the recapping team and would consider it an honor. I will take whatever days are assigned to me. I'm pretty flexible the next few months.

Thanks Delilah, the recap was great. The episode was annoying. I'd like to slap the smug right off of the leeches ugly mug. When is the bomb goin off when he finds out he had his path to financial bliss arrested. Now while she did not have to go along with cami's idea of swindling the leech swindler, I think shes paid for that mistake being stuck with that family shes got, Lord help her!!! Well its on. What a nightmare. Just like the soothsayer told her. Well here we go.
 

It seems there will be no Camino on Monday. I'll recap Tuesday next week for a start. We'll sort out the other days over the weekend and I'll put up a fresh new headliner for us Sunday morning.

Friday 6/10/16 Part I

Refritos:
Fernanda is thrust into the cop car as Pedro watches helplessly. She cries for her godmother Rosauro to watch over her father. A menacing Luis threatens Fernanda; She will spend the best years of her life in jail. Pedro cries and falls to the ground as once again Luis Montero, and enjoying every moment of it; snatches happiness and Pedro’s daughter away from him.

Ordonez is a bit surprised at Carlos decision to marry Fernanda. Carlos wonders if Ordonez disapproves. Ordonez say on the contrary, and congratulates Carlos on his decision to marry Fernanda, it is the best choice for him, as he thinks Fernanda “is pure gold” Carlos agrees she is the best thing that ever happened to him and the love of his life. Ordonez asks when he decided this. Carlos says he’d been thinking about it for awhile but the two formally decided yesterday. Ordonez gives Carlos a congratulatory hug and says there is something very important he wants to tell Carlos about Fernanda…just then they are interrupted by Dr. Espinoza who tells Carlos his mother has come through the first tests fine, tomorrow she’ll do the second set, but first they must speak doctor to doctor.

Meanwhile at the jail, Luis stands in the hallway waiting to give Fernanda a proper evil reception. She suddenly appears around the corner, escorted by two men. She is handcuffed, fear in her eyes as tears fall gently down her cheeks. There is no compassion in Luis eyes as he halts the trio asking to speak to Fernanda. He is told to make it quick.
“Girl, tell me, what do you feel now? Do you still want to keep laughing at me?” He asks as we flash back to their encounter when he threatened a counterclaim and would win. “I said that you would pay for it one day” He continues “ This is precisely that day, so keep crying. After all your tears are useless here” Fernanda refutes that she wanted to laugh at him, but it’s no use. Luis continues “You humiliated me, so don’t play innocent now, because it doesn’t suit you. You and that two-bit lawyer thought you could defeat a lawyer with my experience are two fools.”

 

Friday 6/10/16 Part II

Fer tries once again obviously frustrated that the egomaniac has blown the situation to these proportions. She has explained the situation a hundred times, but whatever when Carlos finds out what is happening..” But she is cut off by Luis who is none to happy to tell her that right now her beloved Carlos is with his very ill mother. Why the woman is more dead than alive. Fer can not believe his callousness, the man is almost gleeful with the possibility that Mrs. Marissa might die. “Don’t talk about Mrs. Marissa that way, she doesn’t deserve it…she is a good woman!” Luis doesn’t bother to refute it, instead turning his attention to the person he knows is Fer’s weak spot. “But Carlos isn’t” He slides his eyes haughtily over her “Don’t you realize that he’s just using you to satisfy his needs as a man? And what better than a girl like you? You’re not that bad” The insults strike a nerve in Fer. After all Luis words are perfectly timed. “You have no right to speak to me like that” She says lifting a prideful chin as she fights to hold on to some dignity. Perhaps regretting now her decision by that fireside. “Think what you like” Luis sneers “But at this moment Carlos doesn’t have the time to care about someone like you. Fer says it’s a lie but Luis reminds her that prisoners get one call. Why doesn’t she use that one on Carlos? He baits her to do it. “Call him and see if he picks up?” Luis smiles confident in one thing that experience has shown him. The one person that trumps everything for Carlos is his mother. Could it be that Fer knows this too? Still she insists to Luis that Carlos loves her. Yeah right, Luis chuckles. Whatever he just wants her to know that he’s going to do whatever he can to speed up this trial. He just wants to make sure that when it’s all over she-- Luisa Fernanda Perez, never forgets who taught her about respect. You don’t mess with Luis Montero. “Take her away” he says before leaving Fernanda distraught and realizing that it’s all happening as he predicted.

Dr. Espinoza informs Carlos that upon examination Marissa is showing typical signs of MD and there is lack of oxygen of the brain. Still she does not show the physical appearance of a person with the disease. There are no baggy eyelids, thin limbs, long face and a wide forehead. She was however given oxygen from a hyperbaric chamber and is responding. The next step after she gets rest is to check her muscles, diaphragm and distal muscles. Carlos seems pleased by the direction/treatment Dr E is taking and is further encouraged when he is told he will be taken to see her.

 

Friday 6/10/16 Part III

Icky who is none too happy about not being kept in the loop, hassles Luis via phone about not being told of the trip to Houston. Luis is still smarting that Carlos is calling the shots about Marissa’s treatment and whines to Icky that it was idiot Carlos idea. Well he’s a doctor Icky reminds him and he know betters. Well I’m still her husband and Carlos needs to respect my authority! Icky doesn’t care, and she has no plans to wait around on Luis who informs her he will head to Houston when he is finished with personal business there. She is going to hop a plane asap. She and her messy split ends want to be with Marissa, but more importantly she wants to be with Carrrrloss! Yup, here we go folks.

Marissa who is now awake sits up in a wheel chair accompanied by her son Carlos who lovingly strokes his mother’s healthy shiny hair, something he most likely did even as a little boy. He tells her how happy he is to see her up and recovered. She tells Carlos, Dr. E who stands across from his patient, that he has healing hands because she feels so much better and not so sleepy. Dr. E obviously pleased as well with his patients progress says he hopes she continues to improve. She breaks the pleasant mood between her and Carlos by asking “Son do you know when Luis will arrive?”

Back at the jail, Pedro is now with his daughter comforting her. Louse dares to appear again and Fer stands, almost painfully. “Why do you hate me so much?” She asks choking back her sobs while looking directly at Louse. The man who has obviously never looked in the mirror answers that there are many reasons but the first is because she’s a scammer who dared to confront him. Pedro defends his daughter but Luis insists his case.
 

Friday 6/10/16 Part IV

Why do you lie? Pedro asks and Luis realizes that Pedro is unaware of the situation. Fer tries to diffuse the situation and tells her Dad not to bother, Louse always finds a reason to hate them. Luis says he’ll wait to share it, because he knows Fer didn’t tell her father right? Guilt crosses Fer’s face. Well Pedro will find out soon enough because the trial starts tomorrow. For now he has enough to put his daughter away for years. Fer says she didn’t do anything, but Louse reminds her of the school trip that she went on with her fraud winnings. Louse asks if she had a good time? Pedro looks to Fer and then back to Louse wondering about that school trip and what Louse has to do with it. Louse ignores him and continues his cross examination on Fer who is slowly being broken down by the realization of things and the deception to her father. “Did you have a good time on your vacation? Did you swim and get tanned? Now you’ll enjoy jail too!” Pedro demands now he be told what is going on. Louse heaps the next offense on her, So you also get to deal with the statement from Mariana Altamirano who claims you’ve also neglected her ailing father Fernando Altamirano, by giving him the wrong pills. Fer claims her innocence that it is Mariana who is in charge of her father’s treatment not her. As if she had enough on her plate, Fer now has to hear a fed up Pedro saying “I knew it..I knew it!” He told her so. She wouldn’t listen when he told her to stay away from those people. They are mean and they hurt people. Now does she understand why he didn’t want her working there? Fer turns to the detective behind the desk and pleads that he talk to her friend Camila, she knows the truth. The same Camila who gave a sworn testament against you? He asks. Fer’s face falls as Louse says yeah give it up girl, even your friend, your sister knows what a scammer you are and she gave a sworn testament in front of a notary. So just give a rest, because nothing and no one is going to save you from jail. Fer collapses into her father Pedro’s arms sobbing as Louse glares, satisfied he has broken the two once and for all.
Back at Alta Manor, Amelia struggles to penetrate Don Fer’s lost mind. He has no clue who she is and why she keeps calling him father. She only wants him to take his meds, it’s very important. Well he won’t take anything unless it’s from his doctor. He wants to see his doctor Carlos..call him! Amelia says she did and he’s away. She then asks if he remembers Fernanda? Fernanda, Fernanda…he says exasperated. He doesn’t know anyone by that name! Amelia assures him he does, she’s the best girl in the world and she takes care of him better than anyone. She’s going to call her and if he doesn’t want Fer there she’ll ask her to leave. Exhausted at having his mind poked and prodded Don Fer says he doesn’t want anyone just leave him alone! He doesn’t want to be there; he doesn’t remember anything and he just wants to know who he is.


 

Friday 6/10/16 Part V

MeaniAna informs the cue ball that Fernanda has been beamed up to jail. He’s pleased and anxious to know how long they’ll be rid of her. Meanie says she was sure to get Camila’s statement of fraud and she herself put in a statement of poor care against her father. Cue ball chuckles, impressed that finally one of Meanie’s plans is actually working. Once her dad declares they’ll see he’s worse than ever! Soon that fortune will be in her hands and she’ll be the owner of everything. Unbeknownst to the two idiots, Blanca hears it all on the other side of the door and she comes in reminding Meanie that Fer is her niece. What you’re doing is unforgivable. She turns on her heal to leave with Meanie attempting to stop her, but Blanca forcefully shrugs her off. She vows to get justice right now. Meanie looks worriedly to Hernan who waves it off, but even he knows Blanca means business. True to it, Blanca wastes no time out in the hall immediately telling Amelia that Fer needs her, because Meanie along with the help of Luis Montero and even Camila have put Fer in jail! Amelia who is dressed in her I’ve come to scrap vest and boots, heads off to Camila’s room to find the girl lounging with no care in the world listening to music. She grabs the girl up by the wrist flinging her across the way, demanding to know why she’s lying. Cami tries to refute it but she forgets Amelia knew all about the set up “Of course it was a lie, because taking money from Luis Montero was your idea!” Amelia is ready to shake the truth out of a clearly busted Cami when Meanie bursts into the room, growling like a protective step mumsy. “Don’t mess with my step mini-me that I’m grooming!”

Back at the jail, Fer can’t believe that her bestie Camila would have betrayed her. Pedro says she should never believe in anyone who is not worth her love and friendship. Luis says Cami is a nice girl who is telling the truth. Truth? Pedro asks advancing on Louse “You’re a bastard you destroy everybody in your way but I won’t let you destroy my daughter” Louse simply wants justice and he’s about to get it. Fer stands now ready to diffuse what is sure to be a bad situation gone to worse. She says Louse should get Don Fer there to tell them how he feels about her taking care of him. The detective informs them that Don Fer is on the list of witnesses set to testify against her and the trial begins tomorrow. Pedro is fed up and he says he’s taking care of it right now, he knows where Don Fer is and he’ll go see him. The detective says go for it, but your daughter isn’t moving from here. He orders the men to finally get her locked in her cell. Fer sobs and seeks protection in her fathers arms but she is once again pulled away from him. Pedro who looks like he would like to kill Louse, for once keeps a level head and holds it together.

 

Friday 6/10/16 Part VI

Meanie and Amelia begin going at it over their daughters. Amelia tells Meania that her min-me is lying. She’s just telling the truth Meanie says and your girl will have to suffer her consequences. Amelia asks Cami if she’ll be able to live with her conscience after putting Fer in jail. Meanie warns Amelia not to try and guilt trip and manipulate a clearly rattled Cami. They suddenly hear Don Fer yelling from the hallway he is ordering someone to let him go, he is being held there against his will and he is going to call the police. They rush out to see what is happening.

Carlos is with Marissa who is back in her hospital bed receiving oxygen. He wanted to be with her when she had the tests but he wasn’t allowed. In this country your favorite doctor isn’t authorized. They both laugh and she assures him it was fine they have treated her so well and she doesn’t want him to worry she’s going to be okay. He says yes it has to be fine because she he wants her to be pretty for his wedding. She wants to know what wedding? He says his…to Fernanda. He’s going to marry her as they get back to Mexico.

Meanie and Amelia have found Don Fer giving Blanca grief. They plead with him to go back to his room. He rejects he idea and he isn’t taking any pills. This isn’t my house and you aren’t my family. Meanie pleads “For God’s sake father!” He becomes more annoyed “I’m out of here, and stop calling me Dad” He gives Meanie a once over pointing out more of their obvious lies that they are related to him. “You don’t even look like me” Ha! His sense of humor is still intact. He continues barking that they have him locked up there and he doesn’t even know how he got there. Cue ball comes in acting like he can handle the situation. Don Fer don’t talk crazy where will you go? Don Fer verbally smacks him down recognizing him for the lying irrelevant bug that Hernan is. “Why I’ll go where ever I feel like it” Finally Cami tries, but he actually pushes the girl away. “Who are you? Get out of my way.” He turns his wrath collectively on everyone. “You’re like wolves, cornering you prey and then eating it” Blanca pleads with him and then Cami again, insisting he must remember her. He doesn’t and doesn’t care who she is. Meanie and Hernan insist he go to his room and they escort him away amid all the chaos. Suddenly a voice breaks through “Don Fernando do you remember me?” All turn to see Pedro. Cami who now looks guiltier and even more repentant is the first to acknowledge him by name, but he barely looks at the girl before fixating his gaze on his ex wife. Softly he says “Amelia”. And as if looking at her too long will crumble his resolve against her, Pedro tries to look anywhere but at Amelia’s beautiful face.

Even ill as she is, Marissa counsels her son against making such a quick decision. She cautions him to take a bit more time, but Carlos is sure, Fernanda is the love of his life and who he wants to be with and have children with. Marissa reminds him of their recent breakup, and suggest that they should date a bit longer. Carlos knows his heart and whether she likes it or not or accepts it or not, he is going to marry Fernanda. Obviously too tired to fight her son, she quietly embraces him.


 

Friday 6/10/16 Part VII

Pedro unaware of Don Fer’s mental frailty reminds the old man of who he is, the man he ran off his property years ago. He’s back only because of he needs his help. This has Don Fer’s attention and he comes toward Pedro wanting to understand what he did to this man who is here to see him, but he is stopped by Blanca who informs Pedro this isn’t the time. He’s very ill. Don Fer thinks this is another relative who has come out of the woodwork. Pedro tries again to jog the old man’s memory. Don Fer says no dice, and Pedro doesn’t even look like any friend he’d have. Amelia insists that her father is ill, she can talk with Pedro, but he refuses, it’s Don Fer he needs to speak with. He also wants to speak with Camila who needs to clear up the lie she put against Fernanda. Cue ball decides he’s going to try one more time to be the man of the house. “You don’t give the orders in this house” Quickly he tries to usher Don Fer to his room, only to be rebuffed again. Don Fer says he doesn’t need to go anywhere. In fact he seems quite clear to this viewer, stating that “This is a nuthouse!” He begins to leave deciding on his own he’s had enough. Pedro pleads for him to not go Blanca pleads for Pedro to understand it’s not a good time but Pedro wants her to understand his daughter doesn’t have time. Amelia reminds him that Fer has both of them. but this time it is Meanie who makes it crystal clear to Pedro. Her father has Alzheimers, he won’t recognize you because he can’t even recognize his own daughter. Pedro accepts it but Cami isn’t sick and she can fix things by telling the truth. Cami seems to be regretting actions. Meanie isn’t letting go though and she moves in for the step mother protective hug.

Sister Rosaura comes to the jail cell to find Fernanda alone and crying. “God mother I’m so afraid I don’t want to be locked up here” Rosaura tells her that her father is trying to get Don Fer’s help but she also can’t believe Cami her best friend would do this, why? Fer says it is most likely over Carlos. Cami is jealous that they made up. Rosaura doesn’t think there is anything that justifies Cami’s betrayal. Fer just hopes she’ll come to the jail and tell the truth. Rosaura is hopeful that Don Fer will come and testify that she took excellent care of him and Carlo will handle the other matter of fraud. Fer pleads with her godmother to please contact Carlos. She needs to see him..she needs him..she needs him now more than ever. She sobs again as Rosaura tries to comfort her through the steel bars.

Pedro demands to know why Cami is doing this. Amelia too wants to know what is behind this lie. Cami now protectively between Meanie and Hernan insists that it isn’t a lie, Mr. Montero didn’t hit Fer and her conscience got the better of her and she had to come forward with the truth. Pedro isn’t buying it. He knows his daughter and she was raised with needs but she also had values and dignity. He gave her the best examples he could as her father. His words seem to impact Amelia who has come to realize now all these years later that he was the very best father. A father who surely would never hurt his daughter like Luis Montero has. Pedro continues pleading to Cami that if she still has any feelings for Fer to help her, but Cami can not even look at him, she says she can’t do anything. Pedro turns to Meanie…please she is your niece. Amelia tells Pedro he is wasting his time on that one because she hates our daughter. Amelia knows that Cami was poisoned by her evil stepmother. Pedro tells Cami that if she wants to hurt Fer, then fine, put him in jail. Do it to him. Cami seems to be struggling with the choice she has made. But to undo it would be to lose what she has right now, her father and her stepmothers support and attention even if it requires her to do something bad.


 

Friday 6/10/16 Part VIII

Pedro has gone back to the jail and he wants to see his daughter but is denied. He is so frustrated and explains to the detective where he went, but the detective simply says he understands. He’s got the file in front of him and knows as much as Pedro does and all the conflicting versions but rules are rules. This is a precinct. He encourages Pedro to go home and get rest for court tomorrow. Pedro says Fer needs her goodnight kiss from her father or she’ll think he doesn’t care, but the detective showing some compassion says the best he can do is give her a message. Pedro resigns himself to not seeing his daughter and gratefully accepts the offer. The detective gives Pedro one last bit of advice. Get used to this situation because his daughter messed with one powerful person and it appears she is going to be in jail a long time.

Things go from bad to worse for Fer when Rosaura finds out from Clarita that Carlos is unreachable. She tells Clarita it’s an emergency and that Fer needs him. Clarita says he’s away on a trip with his mother who is sick. She can give no more information because Louse comes in and demands the maid tell him who is on the line. Clarita tells him it’s Fer’s aunt, and that something has happened to her niece. Louse grabs the phone away and speaks harshly to Rosaura who in response tells him she knows who he is and that he will burn in hell for what he is doing. He says he doesn’t care what she says or her threats and he hangs up. He tells Clarita if she knows what’s good for her she’ll keep her yap shut about this call. She didn’t blab about Rosario and that served her well, if she does the same with this she’ll continue to be fine. After all she knows what he’s capable of. He orders she bring his dinner.

Amelia comes to the jail now and the detective gets chipper when he sees a beautiful woman. It’s getting classy now he says. She isn’t the least bit moved by his pathetic charms. She wants to see her daughter and as with Pedro he spouts off the rules, but Amelia isn’t having it. She’s her mother and she’s prepared to offer some Pesos to see her daughter ahora! *snap-snap* Fer is not happy to see her mother, preferring that it was Pedro. She turns her back on her as Amelia pleads through the bars that she wants to be there with her daughter now, they need to be united. Please honey.

 

Friday 6/10/16 Part IX

Pedro tells Rosaura about his encounter with Amelia, she wonders what he felt. He isn’t sure that it was even Amelia, she seems another person. Like the girl all those years ago. Pretty, rich girl who ran through the gardens. The rich girl you fell for right? Rosaura reminds him. Pedro says yes but that was the past. Was it as terrible as you thought? Rosaura presses. Pedro was too focused on Don Fernando he says and helping his daughter that he didn’t even realize who he was facing. Right now he is worried about his daughter, he is afraid, very afraid. He doesn’t think that Don Fer can help Fer. Rosaura realizes that he was right..it was a mistake for Fer to ever go to that house. Pedro says they’re mean…but not for money, because they’ve always had it. It’s just their nature to be mean. I wonder if that includes Amelia cause it would explain her nature towards Pedro and Fer for those nineteen years, eh? Pedro and Rosaura now this is unfair to Fer. Pedro worries for Fer because he thinks she will be in jail for a long time and he fears that Fer will not be able to handle it. He doesn’t know what to do. They cling to each other brother and sister and cry.

Fer has managed to find some fighting spirit against her mother. She wonders the injustice of her mother of all people being allowed in but not her father. Amelia thinks this is not the time for recriminations. Well if not now then when? Fer asks. Amelia wants her to know that Pedro came to see Don Fer to help but her father has no clue even who he is . Fer tells her that she called and Meanie told her that Don Fer was fine. Amelia says it was a lie and as for Camila she isn’t your friend. She’s insisting you defrauded Luis Montero. Amelia promises she’ll get the best attorney for Fer, but Fer just wants her father with him she is not alone. Amelia reminds her that he doesn’t have the resources for what she needs. Fer remembers the harsh words Amelia spat to Pedro at the hospital. She tells her mother she is sorry but she wants nothing from her mother. She only wants Carlos her father and Aunt Rosaura in her life. She bids her mother to go.

Amelia returns home deflated, she tells Blanca it hurt to see her daughter but worse that Fer wants nothing to do with her or even her help. It’s only Pedro she wants. Blanca says she can’t believe MeaniAna and that this plan took time. Blanca also thinks Cami is being used as a puppet as well. Amelia has no idea what to do but she can’t leave her daughter in jail. Blanca says as soon as this mental attack passes she will tell Don Fernando the truth about Fernanda being his granddaughter. She hopes it is tomorrow.
 

Friday 6/10/16 Part X

Carlos who has been apparently attempting to reach Fer wonders why she doesn’t answer. It only goes to voicemail. He hopes she is okay. He suddenly remembers that Clarita would know. He calls the home phone and seeing the caller ID, the maid perks up. Thank God it’s mister Carlos! Thank God why? Louse asks lurking near by. Clarita promptly sets the ringing phone back down, she wasn’t going to say anything. Well tell you what Louse says just pack your things and get out of my house. She insists she wasn’t going to say anything but he simply orders her out. Louse finally answers and Carlos is none too pleased when Louse lies that Clarita is out buying fruit. Carlos wonders why Louse is such a lousy liar when he does it all the time. Louse says whatever he doesn’t need to lie, just tell him how his wife his. Carlos says none-ya-biz and hangs up. Louse bellows at Clarita to get her things and go as he ordered. She begs for her job and he relents, threatening her again that he’s dangerous. Now get me a coffee!

A new day has dawned and Fer is brought into the court handcuffed again. Pedro greets her with a kiss and tells her that all her friends are here, indeed Pedophile Prof and is dropout bride are there as well as Rosaura. The bailiff warns no touching and Pedro bristles, but Fer warns him down. Pedro assures her that he will be here with her through it all and tells her that he has good news, he got her the best lawyer in the world. Fer suddenly sees the lawyer is her friend Felipe looking sharp and like an attorney who has had a few more wins under his leather belt. “ Luis Montero is a wolf in court” He says “but if we defeated him once we’ll do it again” Fer hugs her friend so happy to see a familiar face who will have her back. Pedro gripes about the hug they are sharing but his was denied and Rosaura tells him to zip it at the same time I yell at my tv, “Shut up Pedro”

Outside the court, the two hyena’s arrive with a long faced Cami en tow looking like she is the one about to be slaughtered. They coach her on what she is to do to her best friend. Louse comes upon them and they assure him they all know their parts and that Cami does too.

At Alta Manor Don Fer’s lack of mental capacity is further on display when he’s helped into the most atrocious Jacket, shirt and pant combo this viewer has ever seen on any man. If that outfit doesn’t tell the story of how lost he is in his closet for starters, nothing will. Ay carumba! He demands to know where they’re taking him. It’s about Fernanda says Amelia. They’re going to court. “Once again with that Fernanda, I don’t even know her” Amelia is confident he will remember her once he sees her. He once again says they’re crazy, but Amelia simply tells him he’s the only one who can save her and not to fail her or Fernanda.

Felipe assures a nervous Fer it’s going to be okay. He wants her to relax and leave it in his hands. Louse comes over and tells Felipe he is still a two bit laywer but this time it’s a different situation. Felipe says yeah but the result will be the same. Bam! Fer confronts Cami as to why she is doing this, she wants her to tell the truth. All her family is here and when Carlos learns the truth. Cami won’t budge and she tells Fer that Carlos is in the USA. Fer wants to know why is his mother sick? Someone tell me? *crickets* Finally Meanie tells Cami to just tell Fer the truth. “Yes Carlos took his mother to Houston and he won’t come back soon. Carlos won’t do anything for you. He traveled there with Ickabella his only and real love”

Welski, I guess we know where this tragic story is going.

 

Good morning, Delilah. Jeez, what a hot mess this episode was, and you covered it with such detail! Thank you so much.

Luis seems to be motivated by having been offended. He knows a few dirty legal tricks, but I'll bet that when he is up against a capable litigator he will fall short.

Camila looks like she is going to be the weak link in this tale of deception. For her own good, I hope she caves and comes clean. I also think that Marianna could fold under sustained, withering cross examination. She just isn't smart enough to grasp that a charge this serious needs to have consistent cohesive points that must be reasonable and understandable.

Oh boy, Carlos is shunted off to Houston during Fer's hour of ultimate need, and who fills in? Flip.

NOTE TO ANITA: To say I can recap is like saying Luis can practice law, but I will help out once a week as needed.

Delilah--What a superb recap this is. It's word for word as it all happened, plus some snarky asides. This is the sort of recap that reveals hours of pause, replay, start (type) and no lather, rinse, repeat at all. I am in awe of your prowess and craft with words and details.

There aren't enough horrible adjectives to describe Luis. The man is willing to put a 19-year-old girl in prison because----wait for it, he was HUMILIATED? It wasn't even his money he had to pay the judgment with.

David--Flippy has been to Spain and back just in time. I don't have much faith in him. He barely won the last judgment against Luis. I don't care if he now has an LLM. I don't have much faith in the whole Mexican Telenovela Justice System. Fer gets arrested one afternoon and goes on trial the very next morning? Give me a break. Sadly, the way things are being plotted out, there's no doubt in my mind Fernanda is going to prison.

What will be interesting is how they plan to keep the lovers apart. Louie the Louse has gotten a head start with Clarita. Ickzzy will take care of Carlos for awhile. Dang.
 

Anita, thank you. It was such an intense eppy and imo it was well worth it to get all the details. Too much happened that was important. The who, what and why for each character was so important to capture as I feel this was a very pivotal episode for many of the characters and it lays out many of their feelings and motivatios for why they are making the choices they are, going forward from this point on. I watched it once, took some notes and had a recap all put into play but honestly I read it and thought for those readers who might need a more in depth of what really happened the only way was to watch, pause and break it down in fine detail. We have much to chew on as we wait for Tuesday which is sure to be action packed for you.

I am having a very hard mustering up too much sympathy for Pedro or Amelia. As I stated earlier,they are the primary two people to blame for Fer's position. Luis has an ego, but it's not much different than Pedro's or Amelia's. He's a vengeful creep, but two people who for their own selfish reasons never told Fer the truth, even now they won't tell the truth. Why? All Pedro has to do is tell Luis the truth and Fer can be set free! How does any of this make Pedro look like the adoring protective father he keeps spouting he is. A real father would put aside his own insecure fears and save this daughter he claims to love. He would look Luis in the eye man to man and tell him the whole sordid truth and tell him he can prove it with a DNA. Instead he leaves Fer to sit in jail all night while he runs to an old man's house to get him to say his daughter is a great caretaker. Pedro is on my shiz list and I hope that for a time he really does feel Fer's wrath at being lied to and put through all of this when both he and Amelia could have stopped it all.

Well, we were wondering and speculating how Pedro would react when he saw "her" and you nailed it perfectly Delilah: "Softly he says “Amelia”. And as if looking at her too long will crumble his resolve against her, Pedro tries to look anywhere but at Amelia’s beautiful face". Wow! So powerfully stated.

And yes, Amelia's countenance have softened, her years of hardness seemingly have cracked and crumbled. I was glad Pedro remembered her as a loving, carefree young woman. I do believe she has repented and although not sure what course their relationship should now run, I hope they are able to be friends in the end. For their sake and certainly, that of Fernanda.

And of course I was expecting Ordonez to show up and whaaat? Who do we get?? "Flip" (thanks David). My heart sank. The trial is over before it's begun. Ack.

I'm trying to believe that Cami doesn't realize the gravity of her lie. She knows her stepmother is vile. Is she truly blind that her father is also a monster? Can she salvage her conscious a second time and retract her lie?

No spoiler, but I think the handwriting is on the wall that Carlos and Fer are going to have major problems. I hope Carlos finds out what is going on and returns.

Now I have a question. Has it not occurred to Pedro or Amelia to tell Luis that Fernanda is his daughter so he will drop the charges? Is keeping this secret worth the price of Fernanda languishing in jail? I don't understand...

You need em. I know what that feels like to have a friend like that (cami). I was stooopid enough to listen when she told me to do something and I paid for it. She came off completely innocent and I came off stooopid cause I was dumb enough to listen to her.

Some of that trouble fer got into on her on with cami the weasel's help. Yeah she (cami) looks like the weakest link. Coward!!! The new developed family of crooela demeanie and baldy comono and their weasel of a daughter(cami). With friends like her, don't turn your back on her. Fernanda found that out.

I was going to say that fer should take her mother's help because nobody else around there has any money, they're as poor as church mouses, but somebody got her a lawyer and I hope this guy works out, he was the one that defended her in the swindle. I hope it don't come back to bite him or her in the butt, cuz he was the lawyer that helped her with the fake case against her sperm donor Leech of a Father.

Pedro has this annoying thing that he does. He should stop it. His sista "the Sister" told him to button it up. He needs to realize little fer ain't so little no more. Even before the lovin in the lost forest of love. Shes gonna be hugged. By men. Alot. She is his daughter in every way that counts. And you don't need DNA for that.They've proved that for the last 19+ years.

Everything that soothsayer told her is comin to pass. Maybe while shes in jail that'll come to mind. And theres the mess with ivkybella and all that hair. I hope ordonez gets to tell carlos who fer really is. Somebody needs to tell him.
But he'll probably find out like everybody else. In court.

I wish clarita wasn't so afraid of the leech. He should be scared to eat or drink. In real life in some places he'd be dead by now.
