Tres Veces Ana #45 - May I please ask your wife to be my girlfriend?

Maribel and Ana Lu are having a very painful (for us) reconciliation session.  Ana Lu, having listened to Maribel’s venomous statements, responds with a listing of Maribel’s qualities she admires and a statement that she loves her. Maribel’s anger has disappeared, she loves Ana Lu as well, though feels sometimes that Ana Lu is distant, as if she believed herself better than Maribel. The irony of this last statement apparently washes right over Ana Lu’s head, and she spends a couple more minutes baring her soul on refusing Orlando’s advances and her current predicament with Santi until, blissfully, the scene is cut.

Ramiro and Llora somehow ended up on the topic of Tin again and Ramiro is trying to convince her she will never fall in love with Tin. Llora stubbornly defends her choice, which Ramiro needs to respect or else he should ask for a check, because she is leaving immediately. Ramiro is trying to convince her that Ana Le is the devil, but Llora’s rose-colored glasses are firmly planted on, and she responds very firmly that her sister loves her, and worries for her – of that Llora is absolutely sure. In fact, Ramiro should try her resolve and go ahead and start his life with someone new. It wouldn’t worry Llora, not even a bit.

Ramiro wants to know if she still woudn’t be worried if that someone were Ana Le. If Llora were the type to crack a smile, she would probably laugh in Ramiro’s face having heard that. As it is, she just snickers in a half-lecturing tone that it is absolutely impossible. Besides, Ana Le has never done anything to merit Ramiro’s disrespect and he was following her all these years. Llora knows it straight from the horse’s mouth.

Well, Ramiro has a bet of his own: what would Llora say, if in a space of one week he will get Ana Le to not only become his girlfriend, but to get the family to accept him again? Llora thinks she would say it’s impossible. Well, Ramiro thinks she has nothing to lose: according to her he’s been following Ana Le for years and if that is in fact so, Ana Le would never accept him. If she does, however, that would mean she’s been lying to Llora. Llora agrees and Ramiro is on. If this is the only way to get Llora to open her eyes, he will have to sacrifice himself and become Ana Le’s novio. (This is both sick and entertaining, and at least promises us an interesting week…)

Ramiro is only asking that Llora plays along when Ana Le will try to convince her and the family to accept Ramiro and that she remembers that he is only doing all of this out of love for her. He doesn’t want Ana Le to her Llora or Ana… and he almost says Ana Lu and catches himself.

Tin, meanwhile, is also not wasting any time. With fake tears streaming down his face, he recounts to Abue a sad story of Ramiro beating him up just because Tin was having coffee with Llora. And not that long ago Ramiro asked him to meet, just so he could tell Tin not to even dream of Llora’s inheritance, as that was all for Ramiro, who was fighting for it his whole life. Abue is stupefied how stupendously stupid she has been to believe Ramiro. Tin wants to make it clear he is definitely not after Llora’s money. But of course you are not, says Abue, I knew it from the moment I laid eyes on you….all of 15 minutes ago! This Ramiro I’ve known all his life, on the other hand, …oh well… at least he is out of Llora’s life. And Ana Le will put him in his place if needed. (And so all our hope that Abue got a bit of her common sense back from hitting her head during that fall has evaporated swiftly.) Has Tin told any of that to Llora? No, he thinks she will just be hurt, but he is afraid that he cannot protect her from Ramiro, being in a wheelchair and all. Never fear, Abue to the rescue and together they will make sure Llora is safe. (Surely with friends like this, you don’t need enemies…)

Ana Le made a sandwich for Mariano and wants to know all about the witch Viridiana and his visit to her. Mariano is in a mood though and is not liking Ana Le referring to Viridiana that way. He wants to help Viridiana and that sends Ana Le in a frenzy, which Mariano cuts short by saying he is not going to discuss this with her. Ana Le wants to give him a massage, but he is not having that either and snaps at her. Her facial expression of a helpless puppy is not very convincing.

Mariano needs to talk to her very seriously and is telling her to pack her bags and go home tomorrow. Her grandmother and sister need her. Ana Le tries to argue that Abue is fine and Llora has Valentin, who everyone is in love with. That is because nobody knows what he really wants, says Mariano. Ana Le needs to go, because Llora needs her. But you need me more, you are still recovering from losing Jennifer. Well, maybe he will never recover, but he lived alone his whole life, and really he needs a woman to share a life with, but that isn’t happening apparently, and in lieu of that he really doesn’t need Ana Le. Sad puppy look again and sounds like she will be sent packing.

Santiago is recounting the story of his heroic escape from the hired guns in Costa Paraiso. He felt as if he were someone else that day, and it was Marcelo who saved him. He wasn’t even afraid, every move was calculated. Santi will never forget that. Inaki and Santi also discuss that Jenny was Marcelo’s cousin (did we know that?).

Later Santi wants to get Ana Lu’s bracelet from Ramiro, but Ramiro doesn’t have it. Not to worry, he is sure Llora will give it back to her sister once they are reunited. How did you get the bracelet? Oh, it just made its way to me… (Clearly they are determined to never mention Evaristo and continue with the near misses and half-truths). Ramiro wants to know how it went with Ana Lu. It went bad. Santicello had to tell her he still loves his wife, and Inaki advised him to take Ana Lu and run away.
Ramiro thinks that would be a bad idea and Santi agrees. He could not live with himself separating Ana Lu from her family. Maybe it’s time Santicello talked to Ana Le and told her he was alive. Ramiro agrees, but there is something he needs to warn him of first. Santicello only remembers the feeling of great love, but Ana Le is not all she seems. There is something Ramiro didn’t have the courage to tell Marcelo before, but Ana Le was unfaithful to him. Santicello pounces – with whom? With me. She has been after me for years and still is, it’s something terrible. Ramiro is punched before he finishes his story and is prohibited from coming close to Ana Le. Whoa, whoa, says Ramiro, hold up a second – I am just trying to be honest with you before I ask your wife to be my girlfriend.  (Alright, who said this wasn’t a comedy? Also I think Ramiro has to find a dictionary and look up the word “unfaithful”. Then come back to this conversation)

Well, interestingly enough, Ana Lu is talking to Sole at this very time. Sole wants to know why Ana Lu was crying all night. She also wants to ask for forgiveness and tell Ana Lu how wonderful she looked at the performance and how proud Sole was. Why did she behave that way then? She was afraid of losing Ana Lu one day, she made so many mistakes, and she doesn’t know how to correct them. She got a job at the boutique, but doesn’t know if she’ll keep it for those reasons. Ana Lu does not ask any follow up questions, even though not a single one of those “reasons” was sensible. Sole continues with lamenting that she doesn’t even know why she brought Ana Lu here to Mexico City. Well, Ana Lu does – it was because Sole was sick (sickness that was conveniently forgotten by everyone, might we add, but why spoil our fairy-tale plot). Never mind that, Ana Lu suggests they pick up and move somewhere, where Sole would feel calm and Ana Lu could forget Santiago. Is she sure? Yes, she is. She would do anything to see Sole happy and will leave her dancing group if that is what Sole wants. They will leave as soon as Sole finishes work for Viridiana, for which she was already paid, and they will go very far away.

Well while that was happening, Ramiro and Marcelo’s (who continues insisting his name is Santiago) conversation is not going anywhere. Ramiro tries to ask forgiveness for the kiss years ago and Santicello calls him a coward. Santicello doesn’t understand  - all Ramiro is trying to do is recover the love of his life by becoming Marcelo’s wife’s lover! Santicello isn’t buying it, and for once we are with him – that does sound ridiculous, even for a triplet story. Well, Ramiro promises nothing will happen between him and Ana Le, but he is giving Santi the benefit of the doubt with the whole “I am in love with two women at the same time” plot, and he wants the same benefit given to him. Besides, it would be helpful for Santicello to realize who Ana Le, his wife, really is, before he will tell her he is alive.

Ana Le is back home, supposedly because Mariano needs to learn to solve his problems on his own. Llora comes to see her, they talk some about Ana Le’s dreams and Llora asks her if she was ever interested in Ramiro. The answer is, of course, no. Thank goodness they have very different tastes.
Ana Le is still very upset with Mariano’s snub and drops his photograph. Llora realizes that Ana Le did not leave of her own accord, but rather was asked to leave, and must have fought with Mariano. Ana Le starts to sob that she didn’t want to leave, he needs her, but he told her he didn’t. Llora is shocked and consoles her.

Ana Lu is telling Remedios she will miss her and vice versa. Doesn’t look like Rem is feeling any pangs of conscience to tell Ana Lu any part of the truth, though she does want to know what to tell Santiago when he comes looking. Ana Lu doesn’t think that will happen, she talked to him, he loves his wife and she will not come in the middle of it. Though here is the address where he is staying, you can talk to him yourself.

Early next morning Santiago is putting on a suit, a tie and excessive amounts of gel in his hair to become…Marcelo. Then he breaks into Inaki’s apartment and stands in the middle of it, asking Marcelo to help him remember. Very conveniently, a memory appears, and it is one of Marcelo arguing with Ana Le after that weekend when she asked for divorce. She tells him that she loves him, but things that are important to her don’t matter to him, and so she will not stay with him, especially if he insists on trying to find Ana Lu. Marcelo wants to know what Ana Le is capable of to prevent him from finding her sister. She is capable of everything. Marcelo is shocked and Santiago is scared.

Thank you Ria. Tonight is one of the few nites I missed the episode because I am my daughters and napped through it and she doesnt have dvr.
I am so glad you had posted your delightful recap. It is so descriptive and funny, It felt like I was watchng. I was so glad how Marcelo helped Santi remember a bad side of A Meme. I was really agitated that anytime Santi was hiding, she would go and on above her love of Marcello. The way you described the dynamics of the three muskateers had me laughing. They are a hoot, especially Ramiro's harebrained idea about proving he can have A Meme. So glad to see that Tio appears fed up with his niece.
Leticia

Thanks, Ria! Your excellent recap covered it all.

I loved uncle Mariano turning down the massage ( I wanted to throw up when Ana Leticia was slithering all over him) and sending Ana Leticia packing.

I agree that Ramiro's harebrained idea is "sick and entertaining" but it should be fun.

Too much time spent with that sicko Valentín and abuela. I hope Evaristo can give him a one way ticket to wherever with that slime Orlando.

I want to see more Evaristo. What has he been up to behind the scenes?

I wonder if Soledad and Ana Lucía will ever leave Remedios' boarding house and if they do get out, where will they go that could be far enough away. If they leave, I bet Evaristo will know where they are.

Thanks Ria. So much filler last night, but you made it much more interesting than I remember watching.

Maybe while she's in the hospital Abue should have her head examined. I couldn't help but think the problems we have with AnaLe and Llora have a lot to do with this woman not being a good judge of character, knowing a con when she sees one and being blind to problems.

Had to just turn off Soledad. No matter what scene she's in now, she gets on my nerves.

Good lord Ramiro...do not understand the workings of this character. Nice guy, weird thinking. And really, unfaithful? How about everyone thought you were dead Santi. Honestly with the he-man reaction.

Mariano was my hero last night. May we finally have seen the last of the sliming by AnaLe. Of course, with that look on her face, I thought we may have seen the last of Mariano.

Daisynjay, good zinger about abuela getting her head examined!.

Thanks so much Ria! I agree that you made this episode seem much better than it was.

Was scratching my head over both Ramino's definition of infidelity (a kiss and some come ons), and his plan to prove Ana Leticia is a liar by becoming her novio. But I credit him with at least telling Ana Llora and SantMarc first. No one can claim to be blindsided later. Inaki won't be happy about it though, if Ramiro succeeds. And I'm not sure if it won't just prove Ernestina and Mariano right. Oh well.

Favorite part of the episode was Mariano telling AnaLet to get going and that he doesn't need her.

Also glad that SantMarc has finally remembered some of the not so rosy moments with AnaLet.

Almost had the water I was drinking come out of my nose when Ernetsina said she knew from the moment she saw him (playing oboe on a street corner for pesos) that Val could NEVER be a golddigger. Say what? She's an idiot.

Although I appreciate the lesson in Ana Lucia returning Maribel's venom with love, and therefore deflating Maribel's ire, I'm not ready to believe this is the last of Maribel's hateful, jealous behavior. I hope this will be a permanent change, just not betting on it.

Gracias, Ria. Great job on a frustrating episode.

I also think that Ramiro's plan will probably backfire on him. I understand that he wants to prove to both Ana Llorona and SantMarc that AnaMeMeMe isn't who she thinks she is. She's been too clever by half so far in concealing her true nature. Again, it is supremely ridiculous for Ernestina to be convinced that Ramiro is a fortune hunter when he is clearly an educated man with a CPA license who can make a good living while Valentin lives in a dump and plays the oboe on the street for what few pesos the public will throw him. And why won't Mariano tell what he knows about him?

As for Mariano, is he finally having the light bulb moment about AnaMeMeMe? Their scenes together were ratcheting up the Ick Factor even more every time. And that latest piece of Ramerawear absolutely screamed her attentions out loud.

No, I can't recall previously hearing that Jenny was Marcelo's cousin. Interesting point. Did Evaristo know about that?

Ev is due to reappear but I dread what he will do next. He has no regard for anyone's feelings except his precious Soledad who is quickly becoming almost as selfish as AnaMeMeMe.

Vivi, I agree about Maribel. She will ultimately display more of the nasty behavior as Ana Lucia's troubles escalate.

We learned Jenny and Marcelo were cousins when we met Jenny's brother after she died. He had a conversation with Ernestina and Ana Llora where he told them his uncle (Marcelo's dad) has been having a hard time getting over his grief since Marcelo died.

Thank you Ria.

Never liked Ramiro, he is a playboy with the ego the size of the sun. The ego stroke of realizing his dream of bedding Leticia with a Jerry Springer excuse upfront.

Thank you, Ria. This episode bummed me out. (Which is way more emotion than this TN deserves from me, dammit!) AnaLu is fixing to run away with her mommy, just when Santi is figuring out what AnaLet is like? Argh. I really hope he catches AnaLu before she skips town. I'm not in the mood for another delay, especially a stupid one! (Unless, while skipping town, she happens to run into her sisters at the gas station. Now that would be awesome. Too bad she doesn't have a car!)

Watching AnaLu and Maribel together was agonizing. AnaLu is so sweet, someone's going to have to teach her how to slap properly. Maribel won't change just because AnaLu said nice things to her - AnaLu's always been nice to her. Maribel is going to need to get some self-esteem before she can stop being nasty and jealous.

I don't understand what Ramiro is up to with AnaLet. Is this supposed to be a mystery, or am I missing out on a fabulous joke?

And Abuela is out-of-control gullible. Tio Mariano should really tell her (and Llora) the truth about Valentin. They're so quick to believe outrageous lies, I'd like to see what happens when someone tells them an outrageous truth!

Daisyjay, yes Abue, she sure should have her head examined. She has been very poor judge of character since she was young woman. She choose to believe the worst about the man she loved and ended up marrying man she didn't love because she judged him wrong. I dont blame Mr Richie Rich for still being angry with her. She is doing same thing to A Llora, steering her from her true love to someone she is determined to fall in love with. Wont happen.
Tofie, I dont know about Ram being a playboy, but agree with you that he wants to bed A Let and making it seem like a sacrifice to open Santimarcello's and Ana Lloras eyes. He is analytical thinker thas for sure.
I like the tn, but there isnt one person in story line that isnt doing something against their nature. Okay, I just thought of one, Leonora! I guess I am disappointed that Remedios turned into Sole's acomplice and Marcello acting like he is intimidated by Valentin. Whats up w that?

Leticia

If he's willing to go through some elaborate game to get Ana Let to announce they are novios, I don't know why Ramiro can't simply set up a camera, or even turn on the recorder on his cell phone, during one of her attempted seductions of him. Then shove her out the door, back up the recording, and send copies to Mariano, Ernestina and Ana Llora. But I guess that would be too simple and straight forward. *sigh*

Vivi, not only would that be simple and straightforward (compared to whatever Ramiro has in mind), it's a tactic that was used in several Three's Company episodes (tricking someone into revealing their true colors where someone else can witness it). Which just goes to show how far off-the-charts crazy this story is, if the Jack Tripper approach is the most sensible one. (Granted it's a lot less farfetched now that every phone has a camera.)

So, we're back to Three's Company. Yeah, it may not officially be a comedy, but someone is surely having fun with this.

Thanks Ria! Sounds like this was a fun episode. I'm happy anytime AnaLet is LetDown! Ramiro's whole plot to prove AnaLet is a liar is crazy but I hope it will be fun to watch. Ernestina is so troubled by her past that she has transferred it on AnaLlora. I think If Val was the first guy to show interest in Llora Ernestina would have thought him the gold digger. Just because her first love turned out (she was convinced) was duplicitous, she thinks the same for Llora.

Glad Marcelo is remembering the not so nice bits of AnaLet.

Great recap Ria! You always do such a good job, so thanks for your hard work.

Every time I see Ana Le slithering up to her uncle, I want to vomit. I am glad he was firm with her and told her she needed to leave. The massage thing must have been the last straw.

I have a question though, something that I can't figure out yet, since I'm not all caught up with all the episodes. Why doesn't the family/Ernestina like Ramiro? What did he do wrong to merit such dislike from them?

Cynthia- Everything was fine with Ramiro. His dad has managed the family's money for years. Ramiro grew up with the two girls. According to EVERYONE he has always paid special attention to Ana Llora, always defended her when they were kids, never paid no mind to Ana Leticia. When the story started, he had just come back from being away in Europe getting a masters degree and trying to get over his guilt for causing Gina's "suicide" by dumping her on their wedding day after 1) finding out she was a gold digger and a scammer, and 2) realizing that he's in love with Ana Llora. He managed to convince Ana Llora (who has been in love with him forever) to be his novia, for like a day before Ana Leticia decided she couldn't allow that. Ana Leticia then poisoned everyone against him by telling Ana Llora, Ernestina, and Mariano that Ramiro has been chasing her too, that he kissed her (she kissed him), and that he's only after their money and is trying to seduce BOTH sisters at the same time, trying to get one of them to marry him. She went to Ram's house, and when she knew Ana Llora had entered the room, she lay a kiss on him. That was enough to convince everyone that what Ana Leticia said about him was true, and the whole family, including his own father (!), has been against him since. The only person who believes him is Leonor.

What makes this all ridiculous is that by everyone's own admission, they have never seen Ramiro pay Ana Leticia any mind, they have known him his whole life, he has always been obvious about his affection for Ana Llora, and his family is not hurting for cash. It makes no sense.

Cynthia- And FYI, Gina was hired by Ana Leticia to seduce/marry Ramiro in order to keep him away from Ana Llora since it was obvious to everyone, except Ana Llora, that he was in love with her.

Oh, and to make this even more stupid, Ramiro's dad first got ticked at him when Ernestina told him that Ramiro was trying to seduce both women for money. Ram insisted to him that he only wants to be with Llora, and NOT for her money. Dad then suggested he go after Leticia for her money, because she has two legs, and threw Ram out when he refused. So first he's ticked off because Ramiro is supposedly a gold-digger. Then he's really ticked off because Ramiro refuses to be a gold-digger with the girl with two legs.

I don’t blame Ramiro if he did want to have a passionate session of bumper cars with Ana Leticia. He’s been single for three years. The woman he loves keeps rejecting him, and her look-a-like sister keeps rubbing up against him and practically serving it up on a platter. Seems pretty natural that he would be sexually attracted to her.

Ramiro's father really has his head up his culo. He doesn't know his own son at all and he is far more superficial than Ramiro probably ever was.

You'd also think he'd be ashamed of a son who would look to marry money rather than make his own, like a man is supposed to do.

As to Ramiro's sex drive, I thin he needs to wonder where AnaMeMeMe has been.

Thanks, Ria. Fine recap.

I'm Team Ramiro all the way! He's much more proactive than he used to be, coming up with the one-week scheme and ratting out Ana Le's betrayal to Santi. At first I thought Santi went overboard roughing up Ramiro cause his bud had kissed Ana Le. But if my man kissed by best friend while I left the room to bring back drinks for us all, I'd want to smack somebody too.

Sadly, I don't think Ramiro can outfox Ana Le in a week. Ana Laura asking Ane Le one last time if her sis had the hots for Ramiro seemed to tip Ana Le off that something is up, so I'm guessing she'll be turning the tables on poor Ramiro.

Yay, favorite scene was tio telling his niece to scram. What Ana Le doesn't get is that the more she tries to act like his woman instead of his niece, the more he realizes he wants a *real woman.* If she'd stayed there only making sandwiches instead draping herself over him every chance she gets, she'd still be there.

If this is the only way to get Llora to open her eyes, he will have to sacrifice himself and become Ana Le’s novio. (This is both sick and entertaining, and at least promises us an interesting week…)

Love this observation and all the other wise remarks you have made about this episode Ria. Reading one of your recaps is like watching a telenovela with a really fun friend. The plus side of our "virtual family room" at CarayCaray.

Also got a kick out of your describing Santiago anointing his head "with excessive amounts of gel" to get into Marcelo mode.I like Santiago's natural hair much better, but the man can sure rock a suit. (he's very fine without clothes also).

And Vivi, thanks as always for your incredible memory. Docs do studies on people who forget nothing. You need to be a test subject!

I'm still mystified as to how Ramiro expects to become AnaLet's novio. What is he going to bribe/blackmail her with to accomplish that? *gasp* is he going to threaten her with AnaLu??

Julie- There are SO many reasons why this plan doesn't make any sense. But I'm finding that most of these characters lack the ability to reason and think the way real people do.

Vivi - ugh. Spoiled by Hotel and Yago, I forgot to wear my tinfoil hat. My bad. I'll glue it on so I don't lose it!

Thank you Vivi for your explanations. That makes a lot better sense to me now, even though some of is quite senseless! ;) I don't know how you keep all of this straight.

Jarifa, I was wondering where Evaristo was too! There is decidedly much less of him in the past several episodes and yes, we are starting to miss our version of Marlon Brando.

Daisynjay, I was very happy Ana Le did not have a gun in her hand during the Mariano scene. With her history of stability, who knows what would happen to the pretty tio.

Vivi, I don't think this was the last of Maribel's petty jealous acts either. This character is so irritating. And thank you for reminding about the Jenny/cousin information, as well as for keeping all of those confusing characters straight for us!

Urban, on one hand I am thinking there's greater likelihood for Ramiro's plan backfiring, but on the other hand Ana Le already gave him a way in by suggesting they start something as poor lonely souls. Of course, she is just trying to hurt Llora, but maybe even just for that effect she will fall into his trap?

Tofie, yes, very silly story line indeed with the boyfriend swap and Ramiro declaring he will be Llora's "brother-in-law" by week's end. But then everything else so far is off the chart silly sometimes, so I will confess I am looking forward to more comical moments with Ramiro's attempts - even if we are the only ones laughing.

Julie, Ana Lu running into one of her sisters during her escape would be grand indeed. Hopefully it's Llora though, because Ana Le would just set her and the car on fire. Though maybe we will get that pregnancy angle and she would be forced to stay put? I am figuring Sole must continue working at Viridiana's, so we can keep that source of near-misses warm and for that to happen, they can't skip town.

Carvivlie, Ernestina is the worst paranoid Abuela we've seen in a while. She really needs to chill and attend to her dating site profile. She might lighten up a bit.

Cynthia Hampton - so true, Ana Le is nauseating next to tio Mariano! Was good to see him rebuff her.

Leticia - Leonor does appear to be one of the only well-adjusted people in the novela, doesn't she?

Niecie - we'll hope then Ramiro will prove our skepticism wrong and at least ruffle some of Ana Le's feathers, even if not actually getting through his plan successfully.

Oh JudyB, it is so much fun writing and watching with everyone for me too! Definitely like our own virtual family room - a very good description! And ditto on Santiago/Marcelo and Rulli being able to pull off a suit (or no suit) so very nicely...

Ria thanks, and your title is great!

Great Recap, Ria! What I find odd is how is it their childhood friend was so open about going after Llora, yet was so secretive about going after Letonta? And if that's the case, why did Letonta wait til after all these years to confess that he's always been after her? Why, just cuz she happened to get caught kissing him?

And Ernestina doesn't discern character well enough to know a good guy from a bad one. Who needs enemies, indeed! Plus Santiago punches the guy that's letting him stay w/ him, bending over backwards to keep his secrets (in spite of his mission to reunite the sisters), wouldn't shoot him, AND is being forthcoming & honest about a drunk kiss (one that LeTeaseYa initiated)....yet somehow his first instinct is to punch him? I don't have to have a good memory, but it's easy to know ppl's intentions. It's hard to keep up the facade of an angel for too long, eventually you know who's an angel and who's a devil. Yet somehow, Evaristo whose actions are questionable is considered trustworthy. Leticia is considered a brat at most, & I'm willing to accept their naivety of her. But Ramiro is clearly a decent guy, albeit not the brightest at times, yet despite that it's hard to keep my wits under my tinfoil hat when it comes to their assessments of him.

Btw to answer you Ria, we seen Marcelo's dad show up at Jenny's funeral and her brother addresses him as Tio. I wasn't sure if it was just something they called him or if they were actually relatives, but last night's epi confirmed it.

Tonight's my first night. Wish me luck, everyone :)

Ria, thanks for the excellent recap. Love all the comments and observations. I read all the recaps, but usually don't have time to comment. Keep up the great work, and please know that it is appreciated.

Anna,
Good luck with your recap!

Hasta Pronto...

Looking forward to it, Anna. Let me know if you have any issues posting first time around.
