Weekend Discussion: Crimes of Fashion, Fifth Edition
Believe me, we love doing this.

This looks more like rebelling against fashion. |
Necklaces like this are not a good pairing with shirt collars. |
This is hardly appropriate to wear to the funeral of your uncle's finacee. However, we know your motive. |
Really, Ernestina, you shouldn't let her leave the house like this. |
Frankly, this half-skirt thing fails to amuse after the first felony. |
Ana Leticia always shows too much real estate. |
Is this lingerie? We thought that went out with Madonna. |
We hope Ernestina demanded to know where she was going. |
We honestly wonder sometimes whether this young woman owns a whole dress. |
Mariano needs to talk to his assistant about an office dress code. |
This one is also too short in front, although we can't see. More Sharon Stone action to come. |
No wonder. What is fashion coming to, anyway? |
Is this something suitable to wear in front of your true love's parent? |

BwaHahahahaaaa! Why do I keep thinking her breast implant surgeon cut a deal where she got a deep discount if she flaunts those things in deep necklines, in every scene?
Doris and Jarifa, your comments had me in stitches!
With that yellow dress, I was sure AnaLet's nipples were going to pop out!
I actually like the style of the young women in Yago that you posted above. Not only are they covered up (unlike other tns), I think the style is playful, fresh and young, and something you would see stylish young people in a big urban city wearing. Not the hooker wear all the other young women in other tns are always wearing.
As to the potential for wardrobe malfunction, I think that yellow dress was specifically designed for that. The reason it doesn't happen is that AB's boobage is siliconed and therefore can't move naturally and doesn't usually need a brassiere.
I also liked the fashion from El Hotel. Except for Isabel's infinite amount of white dresses, I liked Teresa's coats and Matilde's hairstyle. Juan Ferrara was also pure galan material with his Victorian like look. Almost everyone there was good looking.
Sara in Yago is also good looking. I also like Fidel's coats and grey hair. He looks like mini Tywin Lannister lol
Check this site out if you have time and read Spanish.. No censorship???... In Mexico
I look forward to Ana Leticia's fashion crimes. Although all her outfits are inappropriate for the occasion, she always looks smashing in them. Except that yellow canary number was way over the top (pun intended). I shudder that any preteen viewers take their style cues from her.
I vote for Velcro or double sided stick tape. She has had a boob job?? I'll have to go back to CS90 something to check her out.
Remember the crochet doiley vests she wore in Abismo de Los Viewers? Maybe Boyer gave up on crochet and learned to sew, taking to heart the "make it in 3 hrs" promise on patterns. --"-Ooh, three hours sewing time is up? Well then we'll just them it right now and I'm outta here!"
There is a product called Res-Q-Tape that is most likely used to hold those dresses "in place."

Very painless to remove from the skin and works fairly well.
I do admire the fitness level of this actress. We can credit a plastic surgeon for those bodacious boobs, but the abs and those equally bodacious legs are all Ms. Boyer's hard work and superb genes combined.
When she hoisted her leg up on the desk, (while wearing that incredibly wisp of a yellow dress) I'm sure Iñaki (and the actor playing him) did not know where to look first! 'Cause anywhere was dangerous!
JudyB - ITA with you about that "real estate" caption in the Hall of Fame! I loved it, Urban!
Good one!
It's hard to wear that color in general. If her hair were blonde in this series she wouldn't be able to, but yellow looks good on redheads and women with dark hair.
I can't believe you pulled those images up. By the way, your captions were hilarious, best ever
I was watching the "fashion show" last night and wondering, am I really that out of touch, or are those dresses all really ugly? And AnaLet paid 100K pesos (of her uncle's money) for the ugliest one of all!! Although I suppose it will somehow look cute on her!
