Tracy is going to maintained forever by Ricardo? Another harebrained idea. No trial??? Is Ricardo stupid enough to believe that a high security wing in a mental hospital is gong to hold her? Only a pine box six feet under will do that.

More raccoon makeup for Esperanza. I missed the "wake up eternally" quote but Esperanza seems headed in that direction.

Also looks like Salma's pregnancy is coming to an end. She was having more than "little pains" outside the school. If that happens, it will be a welcome end to another depressing story line. Funny but for the ultrasound she had a belly but none with her tight little jacket cinching her waist in this episode. No consistency.

They like yogurt! There was the LaLa commercial embedded in the episode and a Yoplait one during commercial time.

What is the deal with Félix and having children? He was so sad when Margarita brought up the topic. Maybe he is sterile? Just guessing.

I loved Luca's reaction to Ernesto coming clean and trying to make Tracy with the gun at Pato's head sound rational.

I also laughed with that name that doesn't bring anything. Maybe if they call the clinic MentClinic we would have thought that they were making mints? How about the plain old fashioned Mental Health Institution?

Anya has no friends, so that's why she has to talk to herself so we know what's going on, because according to Osorio, we need to be told otherwise we won't get everything, right? This way we know she "tronó" anatomy, she has no time for love, she is in love, and that she is reminded every day how good she has to be in order to fulfill the promise she made to his dying father on his deathbed of being the best nurse/doctor and one day cure cancer. Ay ajá!

In one scene, Marjorie and Cristián could not get a straight face and kept laughing (at least I think that was not part and of the script), and was a little funny.

Also, when he said that he had the ideas but not the budget, well, you should have said so from the beginning!

Calderón de la Barca said that "Life is a dream and the dreams are just hat, dreams" and I thought, what if life is a dream and when we wake up is when we die?

Maybe that's what the Little board means, Esperanza is dreaming right now but she will wake up, IN THE GREAT BEYOND!! Jajaja! All this pain and suffering just to die afterwards, not funny!
 

I only watch this sporadically and haven't posted in here before but I did happen to catch yesterday's episode and I felt so bad for Esperanza. Ugh. By the way, thank you to the recappers, it really does help those of us who only watch once in awhile keep up!
 

Pablo, looks like Esperanza is headed for the great beyond so maybe we will find out. Will they let her die? Sure would make life easier for Ricardo and Cristina. How long to últimas semanas? Probably too long. Hmmmmm.
 

Juanita: Remember, "Pasion Y Poder" did kill off the leading male protagonist Arturo Montenegro.

Wouldn't surprise me if they kill off Espi barring a major miracle!

Nandicta, fabulous recap as always. Enjoyed the title and "he’ll try to discipline his demonic spawn, Paulo" was my favorite line of many.

Who would ever have thought Anastasia would be dispensing sound advice to Ernesto?

Last night, I saw the episode where Adrian was freed and Ernesto met his newest child. He loves his children. And Esperanza. Isn’t that enough for redemption?

Jarifa, it seems you were onto something last week. "Esperanza wakes up looking like death warmed over. She can barely stand or walk she is so weak" and "Esperanza looks like a sad cadaver while her kids and Aranza give the happy couple the stink-eye" made me very sad.

Has this lovely woman suffered terribly for so long only to die in the end? It is not cosmic justice that Ric and Cris sail off into the perfect couple sunset, if Espe ends up dead and Ernesto ends up, well who the heck knows??

The actor playing Adrian is wonderful. I am so relieved he was freed.

I hope Salma does not lose the baby but of course now that she is changing her mind and wants to take care of her, that will most likely happen.

I believe that there is true insanity. And pure evil. Tracy is pure evil. Incarnate. I understand that as the mother of his children Ric wants her in more a more sanitary environment. I could care less.

I thought that Marjorie and Cristian were about to crack, too, during the scene with the kids. Also, he looked about ready to burst when talking to Tracy in jail.
Even if Espe survives cancer (big if right now), the actress was still subjected to some awful make-up for almost half the tn, while another woman was designated the "pretty" one. No fair, they really stole her protagonico.

Yes, Diana, Ernesto does seem to have learned his lesson at least with his children and Esperanza and even with Viviana. Maybe his win at all costs days are behind him, too. I hope they do not kill him of for send him off to jail before the end of this
