Tres Veces Ana # 60 and 61 - In which Ana Le settles many of her debts

(Some scene consolidation below, don’t be confused)

Skipping the rehash and going straight to the new material, because far be it from me to deprive you all of the episode that might just make you wish you could kick some of these characters in a shin. No finger pointing though (Llora).

So we ended on Facundo confusing Ana Lu for Ana Leticia. Before Santicelo could collect his split personality brain cells and think up an excuse, Ana Lu gave him a huge break by assuming that Facundo had just mistaken Leticia with Lucia, since he probably just heard it for the first time yesteday! So she corrected him and invited him for coffee. Santi of course played along, and Facundo – quick thinking on his feet (he must have had a lot of time to do crossword puzzles and Sudoku in his cave) – did as well.
(Side note – what is happening to Ana Lu’s blouse there? Is it borrowed from Ana Le?)

Our selfless boy Inaki is not letting us down and asks for a small fortune in exchange for a piece of his liver. Julietta is shocked and tries to bargain – she will give him money after everything goes successfully. Well, he is not her son for nothing, so he wants assurances too. Since she cannot guarantee Daniel will not kick the bucket, he wants the money now.   How about half the money? And half after? Nope, this doesn’t work either.

With a deep sigh Julietta writes him a check. How can she know he won’t just leave them and never come back? Inaki thinks it’s ironic she is talking about leaving. He also apparently has not discovered mobile banking yet, so he is off to a brick and mortar bank to deposit the check, then wait for the money to clear, while Daniel is camping out in this spa relaxing with a tube down his throat. While on the way to the bank, Inaki stops by the furniture store and buys almost everything they have there, including this new invention…. “oh, is that a lamp?? I will get it!!”

Llora is lunching with Ramiro five minutes into the episode, thus commencing the longest yet stretch of wishing she were taken by a tornado to a far-away land along with Toto. She is short with Ramiro to show she is upset. Llora declares that her sister explained to her why she went along with their plan and she believes her, it’s something very serious. Ramiro better be completely honest with her  - their relationship depends on that. Now, if Ramiro was a little smarter, he would just throw in the towel, give up on this walking contradiction and walk out. But he is not, though he is finally starting to get just a bit angry – why does Llora always believe Ana Le? She knows everything about her! What was it that Ana Le told Llora to make her doubt? She told her Marcelo is alive. Oh, that…. Well, Ramiro can’t give her many details about that, except that Marcelo isn’t hiding and he has his reasons, and he, Ram, didn’t know Marcelo was alive until a couple of weeks ago.

Understandably, Llora doubts every word Ramiro says, because – unlike Ana Le – he does not pepper in insults while speaking to her (and we are becoming certain those are what makes Llora believe truth is being told). Llora thinks this changes everything. And if Ramiro can’t tell her anything, she will have to ask Marcelo herself. If Ram loves her, as he says he does, he will arrange a meeting. To think that all this time he made her believe Ana Le was a liar, when Ramiro himself is a liar! And every time he disappoints her. (No, Llora, you manage to disappoint yourself, and us, and our TVs, all on your own every day. Some days more than others.)

Remedios and Facundo are sitting down with Santi and Ana Lu. Everybody’s insecurities surface and this turns into an episode of “Who knows and loves Santiago/Marcelo better?”. Nobody wins, in case you had any doubts, though Facundo decides to move in to Rem’s pension. Isn’t it too modest? Well, Marcelo could become accustomed to such…err…place, and so can Facundo then. (I am certainly beginning to “like” this character. He and Julietta might make a good pair of friends....).

Sole and Ana Lu are debriefing in their room. Sole is weirded out by Facundo coming over to live at the pension. She and Ana Lu philosophize on the topic of child loss, when Ana Lu notices that Sole speaks with much knowledge on the subject. Sole shrugs it off and notes that she understands Remedios. It is tough to realize that children don’t belong you, or that perhaps that they never have.
Santi and Facundo are chatting about his personality and about Ana Lu. Facundo is much less concerned with moral qualms of hiding Ana Lu from her family – he just wants his son back, and will do anything to accomplish that.

At the dinner at the mansion, Abue congratulates herself  on their new found unity and Leonor has made Ana Le’s favorite dish to spoil her!(Oh how fleeting is the common sense – one episode it is there for ten minutes and then it’s off and not to be seen for 20 episodes more. )

Elsewhere at the pension, Facundo is back for a round 2 with Remedios – this time at dinner, and it is announced that he will become the newest resident. This time around Facundo does not stop with Remedios only, but grants his condescending attitude generously to all who asks. Sole almost spits out her food when Facundo announces he will be staying and hopes to become part of this family.

Julietta is crying over Daniel. She will do whatever it takes to help him live.

Llora is back home to talk to Ana Le. Ramiro gave her his version about Marcelo and she believes him (Really? That’s not the impression you gave us, Llora.) Ana Le brushes her off – Marcelo is hiding, she just needs to find out why, and Llora should leave – nothing she does is of any use anyway. Ana Le backtracks immediately, though, once she is informed that Llora got herself an audience with Marcelo. Ana Le has a plan.

That plan, of course, is to dress like Llora and go see Marcelo. Early in the morning, Ana Le is ready to go and is stopped by Leonor, who does not realize it is not Llora, and cheerfully chats her up about the hope they gave Abue on finding Ana Lu and the fact that she does, in fact, love Llora more than Ana Le.

Facundo sneaks up on Soledad and wants to chat. His son went to work. He sneers at this mockery of a job Santi has now. Please! If only he could remember who he was. He didn’t want to become a businessman like Facundo, so he became a federal agent. Later, when he quit, he opened his own agency and he was a wonderful investigator. Say, Sole, did you know he was investigating a case of a lost girl, away from her family for years, right before he “died”. You wouldn’t happen to know anything about it, would you?

Sole tries to explain her position, but Facundo will hear nothing. Sole is not a mother, she is a criminal. He is disgusted by her and is surprised Marcelo is going along with that. Well, Sole has an opinion too – his precious Marcelo is just the worst person she knows. At least Sole doesn’t have her hands in blood (again - selective memory, Sole, but for the sake of argument…). Facundo doesn’t believe her and how dare she talk like that about his son.

Meanwhile Inaki is showing his new furniture to his brother. All this money came from a recent commission he received on a sale. In fact, Inaki thinks Javier should go tell all the hostel residents how well he is doing. Well, they will all be happy for you, thinks Javier – especially dad. Dad is not worth anything, never was, says Inaki. Javier meekly tries to defend the dad and loses several respect points for listening to Inaki at all and not stopping him.

Inaki tells Javier he is going on a trip for a couple of weeks. Should something happen to him on this trip, he is showing Javier where he keeps the money. Javier is super confused.

Nerina comes to keep sad Remedios company.

Santi is back at Ramiro’s telling him how much he complicated his life by giving the address of the hostel to Facundo. Mea culpa, says Ramiro, I wish I had thought about that. Suddenly a doorbell rings – oh that must be Llora. What???? Santi is panicking. “Oh, right, forgot to tell you, but I invited Llora, ‘cause she was, like, all over me to visit and stuff, and I couldn’t do anything”, says Ramiro, in not quite such youth-oriented lingo, but that is what that explanation sounded like in my head, for all the sense it made. Ok, fine – Santi jumps on board surprisingly quickly – I will meet her. Can’t hide forever.

“Llora” is invited in, Ram gives her a kiss and after a couple of moments of her staring at Marcelo (and us hoping that someone – anyone – recognizes her), she asks Ramiro to leave them alone. He obliges. (And so much for knowing Llora’s voice.  Ramiro continues to lose points as well.)

A long conversation ensues, during which Santi does not realize it is not Llora, but also does not reveal the memory loss. He does ask and talk about divorce he is planning to ask for, and the one they were discussing  a while back with Ana Le. Santi says he is in love with another woman and wants to spend the rest of his life with her. To all Ana Le’s tears and demands on specifics, he responds that he doesn’t own her (Llora, he thinks) any explanations. Santi doesn’t bear any ill will to Ana Le. He also thinks his car crash was not an accident, and that someone is still trying to kill him. His life was in danger a couple of weeks ago in Costa Paraiso, where he saw Jenny dying. Say what? What did she tell you? What, what?? Marcelo is surprised she is so agitated and does not want to talk about that further.

Llora and Leonor are discussing the trick that Llora and Ana Le pulled. Llora does not seem to feel bad in the slightest deceiving her boyfriend like that, but - keeping her priorities straight - she is upset and worried when Leonor mentions she almost spilled the beans about the bracelet to Ana Le dressed as Llora.

Facundo is still talking to Sole, trying to convince her that his son never hurt an innocent person, even if he did kill in his job. Well, who are you to decide who lives who dies, asks Sole. Santi is noble and is trying to change, says Sole. If you want to help him, disappear from his life. Happiness of their children is in their own hands. Facundo is not convinced though – he will do whatever it takes to get his son back.

Nerina sympathizes with Sole – Sole must be afraid she will lose Santi one of these days. Nerina knows what it is like to lose your child’s respect. One day Nerina’s kids were with her and loved her and the other - they threw her out of their lives. Rem confesses that she knows she should be happy for Santi, but she isn’t.

Ana Lu is looking for Santi, when Facundo, who must be making rounds, comes up to talk to her. Hypocritical Facundo sings praises to Sole - a great woman. Ana Le tries to help Facundo by explaining the struggles Santi is going through. Facundo is outraged Santi would not believe himself to be a good person. He is a successful confident man, not a simple cab driver. Whatever it is – says Ana Lu – clearly not impressed by the future father-in-law's snobbery - what matters is how Santi feels. Santi is desperate: he thinks he killed someone and he wants to self-surrender.

Samuel is sitting nervously in Mariano’s office. They are waiting for Ana Le, so Samuel could give her important information (divorce papers?). When it becomes clear Ana Le is a no-show, Mariano asks to at least look at what Samuel wants to discuss, and is shocked by the folder’s contents.
Adriana shows up to inform them that Inaki will be taking a couple of weeks off for a surgery.

Julietta and Inaki chat to the doctor on prepping him for surgery. As Inaki walks out, Julietta kisses him on the cheek, which Inaki promptly and demonstratively wipes off. Julietta then talks to Daniel about Inaki, a brother who came to save him. What she doesn’t know, is that Ev is listening from behind the door.

As a parting thought, Ana Le needs to know if Marcelo still loves his wife. Santi doesn’t understand why "Llora" gets so upset over this. He does love Ana Le, but he will squash that feeling. He knows she cheated. They talk about Daniel and Ana Le asks if it was Marcelo, who beat him up. You must still love my sister, your wife, otherwise you wouldn’t have reacted that way. Santi only wants the divorce. Well, if “Llora” knows her sister at all, Ana Le will fight to regain Marcelo’s love.

Back to Ana Lu and Facundo. Facundo thinks it’s ridiculous for Santi to be turning himself in. Ana Lu asks for his help and Facundo promises that all will be alright.

Tin, Abue and Valeria are at the foundation, concocting some plan to have Tin and Llora spend time with children. Tin says loves Llora and wants to stay her friend.

Inaki is getting prepped for surgery.

Marcelo tells Facundo about Daniel. Facundo thinks he defended what’s his, and shouldn’t feel bad about it. Is that what Marcelo is proud of – being a weakling?  Santi is shocked and doesn’t like those words. Is that how Facundo raised him? What is he thinking?  Santi needs to turn himself in, otherwise Daniel will do it when he gets better. With any luck, says Facundo, he won’t get better and will die.

Ana Le, freshly recovered from the shock of seeing her dearly departed husband and nicely dressed, is visiting Inaki at the hospital and teases him. Then she is off to see Daniel. Ana Le remembers how they met right after Marcelo’s funeral, when – as a true bipolar – she was sad about Marcelo's death. Daniel could not understand why she was upset, if she ordered the hit herself.

In the present, Ana Le kisses him and wishes for him to die. (Another side note – where is Julietta’s husband? Is he coming back from Brazil on foot?) As Ana Le is exiting from Daniel’s room, she makes eye contact with Ev, who is standing guard apparently, or waiting for an opportune moment to off Daniel.

Here is our triple (quadruple?) mystery again: We already saw Ev multiple times at the hospital. We also saw Ana Le. At night, while Santi is asleep, Facundo gets up, dresses and goes somewhere. And as a cherry on top - Santi has a dream that he went into Daniel’s room (dressed as Marcelo) and cut off his oxygen supply. So which one of them did it?

And we know that it has been done because in the morning – juts as Inaki finished some phone conversations, and was entertaining Julietta and accepting thanks – the doctor comes in to inform Julietta that Daniel is dead.

Bravo. Thank you Ria. So great to read so soon after the tn.
Between Ev and Sole they have convinced Santi that Marcello was evil. Verdict still out on who killed GR, but I don't believe Marcello was cold hearted killer as he has been led to believe.

Leticia

Awesome Ria, and yeah, some characters should be wearing shin guards when they get around us on the patio. Gees people.

So, farewell Daniel. We hardly knew you, and fine by most of us. Only side affect is we will have to watch Julietta going all weepy for lord knows how long. Gah! Too much to hope she just goes away.

So many moments I thought Santi had the lightbulb going off that it was NOT Llora he was talking to. What's wrong with these guys? So much for knowing the woman you had loved and Ramiro I'm looking at you. That whole Llora whining at lunch with Ramiro and the fake Llora with Santi--too long. I'm getting good at knowing the difference, what's with these two men?

Not loving Facundo's attitude but he is shaking things up a bit and anyone that can drive Soledad nuts is ok to stick around in my book. Is it me, or is Remedios getting a little creepy in wanting Santi to stay clueless and away from anyone that really knows the real person. I get she feels like a mother figure, but she seems to be channeling Soledad too much for my taste where Santi is concerned.

And yes!! Great way to meet the new future father-in-law Lu? She's worn some weird outfits, but that halter and piece of whatever hung over it was just...can't even find the word.

So our story builds to another murder mystery. Hate to say it, but to me he's still a lovable loser, but what about Inaki as a possible suspect too? I really was hoping the writers wouldn't keep moving him to the darker side, but maybe???? Or do we have a serial murderer considering Gina and that points to AnaLoon.

Fabulous recap, Ria. Thank you.

Again I'll point our that Ana Llora holds Ramiro to a different standard than everyone else, has no problem freezing him out and bitching at him, while she gives everyone else a free pass.

While Facundo was being a subtle snob and somewhat insensitive, he did say something that made sense to Santi. He told him he shouldn't turn himself in for something he doesn't fully remember doing. He's totally right! Also, when Sol was bitching about Marcelo not having the right to decide if a criminal should be punished, I was thinking, yeah, as an officer of the LAW, he did. Again, when confronted, she still doesn't admit that what she did is a crime.

I wish Rem would stop sniveling and cowering, and win over Facundo with her famous charm. I think it was a clever move on his part to move in with SanMarc.

So the next mystery, in addition to who killed Gina, will be who killed Daniel. I think Santi's dream was just that. Unless he's got a suit and hair gel stashed in the pension, and then washed his hair before he went to bed again.

Thanks, Ria, for the wonderful recap. It was quite enjoyable.

Vivi, very funny: " Unless he's got a suit and hair gel stashed in the pension, . . ."

Ana Laura being slurped in by Ana Leticia and wanting to see Santiago/Marcelo is on my last nerve as is "MEDDLER" in residence Ramiro. So, where does he get off orchestrating a meeting for Santiago/Marcelo with Ana Laura without asking him first? Oh, yeah, he wants to save his relationship with the terminal sad sack Ana Laura.

I can understand both Remedios and Soledad feeling threatened by Facundo. Maybe if they contact Evaristo, he can knock him off.

So glad Daniel is out of his misery. Will his mother ask for her money back? He should keep it all!

Iñaki should keeping all!!!

Gracias, Ria.

No way did SantMarc do this crime; we saw him wake up from a nightmare. I also doubt Inaki did it because that risks losing the money he got out of Julieta. Daniel either died of natural causes or was murdered by Facundo, AnaLoon (good one!), or Evaristo. The last two are the ones with motive and that motive will be to frame SantMarc for the crime. Facundo might do this in a misguided attempt to protect his son, but what's another clod of dirt on AnaLoon?

Ramiro should have recognized her, but since SantMarc's memory is still highly imperfect, he wouldn't have in the moment. However, I'm shocked that Leonor didn't call Ramiro as soon as she knew that AnaLoon left the house disguised at Ana Llorona. She could have caught him just before he opened the door to her. In the next few episodes SantMarc might think about this and realize he was talking to an imposter, but he will still question it.

I thought for a moment that Ramiro did realize. He was kind of giving her side-eye. But AnaLet made sure to get rid of him fast. She didn't really do anything compromising while he was there. Had he observed the full conversation with SanMarc, then he would have realized. Leonor should have guessed because Ana Llora would have NEVER said stuff like, I know you love me more than my sister. Her asking for validation like that was a big old red flag.

Asssmore is back!

Facundo has some nerve looking down on Remedios' pension when he was living in a shack in the woods looking like the Geico Caveman just 2 episodes ago.

Here's the thing with Remedios: both she and Facundo are threatened by each other. Facundo is threatened by Remedios because she's had Santiago/Marcelo to herself for three years and Santiago/Marcelo cares very much for her, while professing not to have any feeling for Facundo. So Facundo disses Remedios & her living space and has a "that's nice you took care of Marcelo, you're dismissed now" attitude.

Remedios is threatened by Facundo because he is Marcelo/Santiago's real father, who's coming in to reclaim his son. It is obvious that Marcelo/Santiago comes from a different world than Remedios & the people at the pension; he's part of the rich people class. Remedios is probably very scared that when Santiago/Marcelo regains all of his memory he will leave and go back to his world and she will lose her "son."

I personally think Facundo & Remedios will end up falling in love and then Santiago/Marcelo can have both of his parents.

Ana Laura is just as self centered as Ana Leticia and she pushes Ramiro away so she can continue to put on the "Boo Hoo Look At Me, I'm So Unlovable" act. I blame Ernestina & Mariano for endulging these brats. While Soledad is a criminal for keeping Ana Lucia away from her true family, Ana Lucia is the most well adjusted triplet (even though she too needs to learn about boundaries...ahem Maribel & Orlando)

Julieta probably will ask for her money back and Inaki should be like Boo Biotch Bye...consider this back child support.

Now that Inaki has all this money, shouldn't he have immediately paid back all the (poor) people in the pension who loaned him money? He's been dodging paying them back since this tn started. I'm not even going to go into his nasty attitude toward the father who worked and sacrificed so that he could go to college and get the fancy job he now has-- not to mention gave him unconditional love. I like his scenes with AnaLet and think they are funny and cute, but this nasty attitude toward the people who love him prevents me from really liking this character.

I thought Funky was a bit of a jerk when he first met Santi, but last night's epi had me seething insults at him. Santi, Lucky, & even Solebad were incredulous at his so-called philosophies of life. His forcefulness into (and over how Santi should live) his life is extreme. Dude, I'm about to start calling you Fack-U-n-do-head!

Why kill Dani off so soon? I kinda wanted to see his face once he found out who donated the liver. Can Inaki still return his furniture? And why did Ghoul-ietta (no seriously, her makeup artist needs to stop making her look like the walking dead) smile knowingly when Inaki insisted he wasn't being altruistic, it's just for the money. Are we to expect she'll replace old Dani boy w/ a new son to dote on? I'm sure Inaki will have no issue being a trust fund baby.

Does AnaLet seriously just kill her problems away? It's like a child who gets sick of their legos & decides to flush them down the toilet. Woman, there are constructive ways of dealing w/ your problems. I don't know what the body count is, but I already can see the family guiltily taking the blame for not institutionalizing her sooner.

I predict Evaristo's demise will end in him choking on his chewing gum.

Wiggy Azalea makes a comeback! And I know she kept turning her face away, but how do Ram & Santi not tell the difference? I mean I can't bc duh it's the same actress, but if I loved a twin then I should hope I'd recognize if I accidently climbed in the wrong guy's bed. Why isn't there a TN that uses that plotline, b/c it's really not that farfetched. I'd call it Twin Peeks ;)
(Yes, the pun was intentional and yes, I'm old enough to remember that old soap opera.)

Anna, you made my day. Twin Peeks!!! Guy in the cube over thinks I'm nuts anyway, so laughing out loud with no headset on is no big deal anymore.

I'm sort of MEH right now on who killed Dweebie Daniel, but I am itching to find out what was in the folder Mariano went bug-eyed over.

Ok going down the recap....

OMG Ria you're on a ROLL today! Lmbo @ "Sudoku in his cave" and "mobile banking"
The part of "Oh is that a lamp? I'll get it" was the best, it reminded me of Anchorman ("I love lamp!"

The furniture didn't look THAT pricey to me, or am I not enough of a snob? Oh & I was wondering the same thing (@Vivi) when Javier said that it was good news to tell the hostel. I expected him to say since Inaki owes them money, but he only mentions that it'll make their dad happy. Really Javier, THAT'S what makes it good news for the whole hostel?

With Llora, I can't even. I know I defend these characters sometimes, but she irked me beyond belief.

I loved Sole's bug-eyed look when he said he plans to stick around, best unintentional comic relief.

I like Nerina here, she was very touching.

I too was waiting for Ram to be like "is there una rana in your throat?"

You know what I don't get about Llora in her convo w/ Leo? She trusts Ana Loba to swap identities & trick Ram, but she doesn't trust her knowing about Ana Lucia. Clearly, they're aware she doesn't want her found yet this is supposed to be a unified family now? C'mon!

So Mariano sees the divorce papers...and? It's not like that means anything. It could've been executed prior the accident & delivered post-mortem. Poor use of plot suspense.

Um, Ana Locura couldn't care less about Marc before & wanted to run him over. But NOW it seems she wants to fight for his love? Yea, only b/c she's just become aware there's "competition". Whatta-bish.

I actually loved the playful interaction she & Inaki had.

Lol @ "from Brazil on foot". Indeed.

I don't think it was Evaristo, only b/c when he & Ana LetsKillEmAll were there it was still the day before. Dani died at night, so I'm betting it was Fack-Mundo. But I'd like it to be her & Ev just so she for sure gets the chair.

Thanks, Ria. I had the same thought about AnaLu's blouse (borrowed from Leticia). Looked like a lot of it was missing.

Good observation that Ana Llora is more likely to believe something when it's accompanied by insults. Vivi is right that she holds Ramiro to a different (higher) standard, but I would say that she also holds AnaLet to a different (lower) standard. I wish she should listen more to Leonor.

I was hoping that Marcelo would realize that AnaLlora was really AnaLet. (Actually, I was hoping Leonor would call Ramiro and warn him. She really DOES spoil Llora.) AnaLet peeked through a couple of times, taking a tone with Santi that Laura never takes with anyone. But if he caught onto that, he didn't let it show.

I was relieved when Inaki asked to be paid for his filet-o-liver, but disappointed (yet not surprised) when he went straight to the store and ran up his credit card. (Funny, his excitement over the lamp.) He really should have waited for the check to clear first. Do checks really clear that fast? I think it still takes a couple of days for the transaction to complete (except MAYBE if both the sender and receiver are using the same bank).

I was willing to give Funky-Do the benefit of the doubt yesterday, but last night I found him really obnoxious. He is pretty much demanding that Santiago become someone that he doesn't want to be. His snotty attitude to the others at the pension was appalling. And I really hated the way he talked to Remedios. They should have left the guy in his cave.

So, Marcelo. We're to believe that Santi gets up in the middle of the night, slicks back his hair, commits murder, comes home, and washes his hair before he goes back to bed. Does Santi find that as ridiculous as we do? Unfortunately, this is the kind of story where that's plausible.

Say, have we had a Facundo/Evaristo scene yet? That might be interesting.

Anna, regarding the price of the furniture, it's not that you're not enough of a snob. It's just that Inaki isn't a very smart shopper!

Ok going down the comments....

Daisy Ahahaha @ shin guards. I so wanted to do the can-can on some of 'em! Good point on Rem-AyDios, I hadn't thought of it like that but yea Solebad is definitely rubbing off on her.

Vivi Agree! You'd think she'd finally use her noggin and see the guy redeemed himself plenty. At this point, he should be given saint status for putting up w/ her.

Jarifa I'm sure Inaki will not only keep the $$, but will be offered a new slot as Julieta's "son of the year". As he told her, she hasn't even begun oweing him back.

Urban Yes, I'm starting to think his dreams are more like visions. Maybe we'll find out Chana is his long lost aunt's husband's half-cousin twice removed.

Vivi Hmm, good point about Ramiro. I guess I'll let him and Santicelo slide. But Leonora should've recognized her right away. She knows Llora better than anyone!

Anon207 I'm dying! Geico caveman!! Boo Biyotch Bye! Back child support! Love it. I think Facundo & Leo are intended to have a happy ending, but I'm not against him falling for Rem.

Julie Yea, I was waiting for Leo to hit her speed dial too! Lol @ Santicelo's murder routine. And yes, I'd love to see these 2 (Ev and FackMundo) together. Actually, they're probably already in cahoots. Who wants to start placing bets???

And you're probably right. The store girl probably saw an easy target once he started rubbing his checkbook on the furniture.

Thanks, RIa.

So is FAcundo going to be a better guy than he was as ASsmore in P y P? I think that he was a good casting for Santicelo's papa! Hmmm..I agree with Anonymous that he may end up with REmmy.

For all you fashionistas who missed seeing our LuckyLu's outfit last night, here's a snapshot taken by the po'parazzi....

http://s215.photobucket.com/user/primadonna143/media/Tres%20Veces%20Ana/AnaLu.png.html?sort=3&o=0

Thanks for the wonderful recap! The whole show sounded frustrating last night. I really want to quit this show because of it. Maybe going on vacation next week and being away from it will help. Absence makes the heart grow fonder!

So many good comments today. I especially loved Inaki's "filet of liver."

Regarding the last scene in the advance for tonight's episode. The one where Santiago's taxi is hit by a truck and flips over. Could this be the hit-on-the-head that jolts his memory and brings it back?

If so it could be a good thing because he will remember AnaLet was the one who paid Ev to kill him...or...a bad thing because he will remember how he loved AnaLet and want to return to his old life of luxury with AnaLetitia?

My head is spinning, trying to figure out what will happen next. A little communication between the characters would go a long way! I love this tn! Can't wait for tonight's episode.

If he remembers about Ana Leticia putting a hit out on him, he may very well want to return to his lifestyle of luxury, just not with Ana Leticia by his side.

I will admit that I am glad to hear that Inaki did what I thought he should do and take Juliette for a ton of cash. But he should be buying a car, not furniture, okay a bed frame would be nice.

Thanks Ria, you always do such an awesome job of recapping. I'm admiring all the recappers who are doing the recapping for the two hours. It's a lot of work.

So now I'm wondering if Evaristo is the one who is killing everyone? But sometimes it's someone you least expect like at the end of EHDLS. I think that Ana Le is responsible for Daniel's death, I am sure she ordered it. But I can't figure out who actually did it, although it does appear that Evaristo is there. I don't think it can be SantMarc because it just doesn't make sense that he gets up in the middle of the night, gets dressed in a fine suit, gels his hair back, does the "deed" then showers, goes back to bed and wakes up as Santiago.

As for Ana Lu's attire, perhaps it's one of her dance outfits.

Inaki sure went on a wild spending spree. I'll bet mommy dearest Julietta will be putting a stop payment on that check. She should feel guilty though and call it "back child support". But I bet she will not.

Carvivlie - I thought Inaki told Javier he had a car too, though maybe I was just hearing things.

Again, thank you Ria for a wonderful and time consuming recap.

As far as who killed Daniel, the odds are in favor of Evaristo. Fecundo is a possible second. Ana Leticia is paying Evaristo to do it and when she passed him in the hall outside of Daniel's room, it seemed to me that sealed the deal. No one else seems to have enough of a motive. Inaki needs to give the $ back!

Julie- You aren't imagining it. Inaki bragged to Javier that he bought a car, and waved the keys in his face.

Wow. Talk about counting your chickens before they've hatched.

Anon1:55 I thought so too, except Evaristo & AnaLet were there during the day. According to the doctor, he died later that night. And Julieta was still in the hospital & it'd have been too risky if she'd gone in to see him while Ev was there.

Although, it's possible the doctor miscalculated the time of death. It's also possible that Dani just died on his own, but who are we kidding? This is a TN & boring deaths don't exist!

Oh good. I haven't seen the episode so I'm glad Inaki got a car.

Thanks, Ria. I can't get to the recap and comments until late tonight, but I am so looking forward to it.

What a bummer that SantiMarc's dad turns out to be a jerk. SantiMarc and Ramiro could've used a wise poppa figure to help them battle Team Evil, but not him.

Inaki shouldn't give the money back. It's back child support (he needs to share with Javier, though). I'm pretty sure Julieta provided nothing towards their support and care. Her current husband probably doesn't even know she has other children; if he did, he might not have married Julieta and may have questioned the paternity of Daniel. Inaki followed through on his end of the deal; not his fault Daniel died before the transplant could happen.

Vivi: I didn't mean to plagiarize your words! But I was thinking exactly the same thing when it came to Santmarc's "dreams" and his having to get up in the middle of the night, change into that dazzling suit, do the killing, then come back, shower as though nothing happened. It seems to me that he would be AWFULLY TIRED the next morning after having such an active night sleepwalking!

I didn't mean to plagiarize either, but I had the same exact thought when I saw Santi wake up with clean hair.

Of course, he'd probably be tired after a night of nightmares, too. But he should ask himself if he even owns any hair gel. If he does, maybe he ought to throw it away. That'll solve that problem (unless Evil Nighttime Marcelo has hidden the gel someplace where Sweet Daytime Santi won't think to look.)

I love the idea of Mr. Hyde/Marcelo having a secret stash of hair gel and designer suits that he has hidden in clever places Santiago can't find. ;-)

Yeah, hair gel is one thing, but it can't be easy to hide an entire suit (without wrinkles). I hadn't even thought of that.

Maybe he keeps everything in the trunk of his taxi, lol. He should check for blood stains there too.

Calling Caraymates in the DC, MD, VA region (or anyone passing through)! We're planning a Caray Caray get-together the afternoon/evening of October 1st in the National Capital Region (DC). Anita got the ball rolling, and it even looks like Blog Mom, Melinama/Jane, plans to come! As well as Juanita, Dy, Kendra, Mike & Emilia, and Urban Anthropologist may even come down from NY. If you are interested in joining us, please email me.

Wish I could come to your get together. But I'm all the way out in Los Angeles.

I know we're all annoyed that Ana Llorona pities herself but she is not AnaLoon; she doesn't do it for attention. She truly believes herself to be unworthy, which is the fault not just of AnaLoon, but all the older adults in her life. They fall for AnaLoon's superficiality and are incapable of looking deeper.

As to Inaki, he needs to hope that Ghoulieta (great one1) doesn't stop payment on that checque. Yes, I'm also shocked that it doesn't appear to take a few days to clear. When I sold my mother's house the checques took five business days to clear.

But Inaki should keep that money for all the previously mentioned reasons.

Hi all, didn't get to a computer till now today.

Daisynjay - ditto on the waiting for the light bulb in Santi on fake Llora. No such luck. But Ramiro - very disappointing! I at least hope he will be angry at the trick they pulled.

Vii - I agree and also think it wasn't Santi who killed Daniel. He just probably has overly vivid imagination. Who was it though - Facundo or Ev? Actually my money would be on Ana Le.

Jarifa - very meddlesome of Ramiro to arrange this get-together. So really maybe he asked for trouble.

Urban, good point on Leonor! I forgot about this - she definitely should have been able to at least suspect something, if not tell the difference.

Anon 207 - what about Leonor? I would think Facundo will stay with her, given their history.

Anna, Facundo was insufferable yesterday, so true! You made me laugh with the Evaristo comment - so true!

Julie, I wondered the same about the check, especially given he said he'd wait for it to clear. And likewise was shaking my head at him running his card to the limit, but I suppose it is all so we can now partake in his humble return home to daddy to ask for forgiveness, another couple of betrayals, when he finally realizes what and who isnimportant and once again return to the family.

Susanlynn, for the character he plays, Facundo (actor) is an excellent choice indeed!

Carvivlie, frustrating indeed! Hence all the extra snark I had to put in :-) Hope not overly so!

Virginia, I wonder about memory return too!! Let's hope so!

Cynthia, I am with you suspecting Ana Le! She needs another murder under her belt to keep her murdering skills fresh.

Anon 1:55, see - I think Ev is too clever to kill himself when he can manipulate Ana Le into doing it. But who know, he was suspiciously watching all episode!

Niecie, definitely a bummer on Facundo. Very disappointer he is turnung out to be (so far at least) a shady character.

(Another side note – where is Julietta’s husband? Is he coming back from Brazil on foot?)

That just cracked me up Ria. Yesterday was a zoo and just never got back on track to either watch or read recap. So thanks as always, belatedly, for the excellent job that you always do.
