Yago #49 Bombs are dropping all over the place, (not really)
Sorry it took so long. Recapping this TN is very time consuming because there is so much detail to it. Anyway, here you go.
We start off at Lucio’s office with Abel telling Lucio that Abel has joined forces with Yago now and he wants Lucio to do it also, he will bring him there dead or alive. With sweat dripping off of his face profusely cuz it’s Mexico City and no one needs to wear a heavy jacket anytime of the year to keep warm, he opens it and show Lucio the bomb he’s wearing on his chest.
Flashback to Ambar as a 10 year old, crying and hungry, she misses Sara, Damian trying to calm her down. He tells her that Sara abandoned them. Damian admits to missing her too. He also admits that Sara was his favorite, wishing that Ambar was instead, things would have been much easier if she were.
Current day, Damian puts flowers on Ambar’s grave.
Lucio tells Abel that he doesn’t want him to do anything crazy, so Abel tells him to come with him then. Lucio turns the offer down, he won’t ever join with them. Abel tells him that he has to, it’s the right thing to do, and besides, they have a debt to fulfill. Lucio doesn’t understand, he will never align with them. Abel reaches for a button on the bomb, Lucio is also sweating profusely, and tells him to wait. He’s with Camilo now, he won’t do it, then urges Abel to push the button. Tension is very high right now. Do it, push the button Lucio shouts.
Back at the lair, Fidel has a link to the bomb on his ipad. He notices that Abel pushed the button, but it didn’t go off. Abel and Lucio obviously noticed that too, Lucio saying that his little game didn’t work, runs to the desk, and grabs a gun and points it at Abel.
Selma asks Fidel if this is a sick joke. No, it’s not a joke at all, it’s the only way to prove Abel’s new loyalty. (I guess he passed.) Fidel says, he will confess that the man has balls, (ok, he didn’t say balls, he said pantalones, but the english equivalent is balls, just sayin’). Selma tells him that Yago is not going to like any of this, but Fidel said he’s doing to protect Yago, so there. And how is Abel going to escape now, Fidel? Did you think of that? Yes, Fidel says that if Abel arrives back at the lair, he’s totally in. Selma shakes her head in exasperation and leaves.
Katia is frantically calling Yago and won’t answer. Teo tells her, he left with a girl, why do you think he won’t answer? He’s gettin’ sum. Katia said that he told her to be worried if he doesn’t answer, she’s going over there.
Ah, Camilo is teaching Sara about plants. This time about Bonsai. They must be kept small, he says, one can enjoy the magnificence of a large tree, in a small size. In other words, they are flirting with each other, it doesn’t matter the inane conversation.
Abel made it back, Fidel is telling him about the program he has on the ipad about being alerted to his bomb failure. Fidel turned it off at the last moment. Abel doesn’t like this manipulation, this proof of loyalty. Fidel said he proved that he would give his life for Yago. Abel explains what happened when Lucio pulled the gun on him. Lucio asked if he was going to betray his brother, meaning Lucio? Quick on his feet Abel grabs the gun, gets it and turns it on a drug addled Lucio and tells him that it will have to wait for another time. Then he leaves. Abel tells Fidel, it wasn’t that hard, but i’m not a novice either.
Oh, Camilo isn’t done boring us with plant talk. He wants to tell Sara the story of the rarest orchid in the world. It germinated and grew on a golf course. Then the state roped it off to protect it from being touched or robbed. This orchid grew for 6 years, and it developed a ‘shoe’ making it rare. And now this orchid is going to soon be on this table here. She’s impressed. He’s so happy to have Sara and Matias in his home, he’s been lonely since Julia left. He invites them to stay there forever. Then the phone rings and interrupts her answer. It’s Lucio, Camilo will go meet him.
Katia arrives at the artist chicks apartment, can’t remember her name right now and lets herself in by picking the lock. (Katia, que voyeur!) She comes in with her gun pulled to see Yago and artista sitting casually. They leave. (I just don’t like this chick).
Lucio filled Camilo in on the latest happenings. He thinks it’s funny, Lucio said he was about to die, it’s not funny. Abel won’t be on their side anymore, and his next victim will be Sara. Camilo isn’t worried. And this gave him a great idea, they will have their own bomb, but this one will actually explode.
Abel runs into Julia on the way from talking with Fidel. She wants to know how he got his face all messed up, he tells her that he fell down some stairs. Julia asks where Selma is, Abel tells him that she’s with Fidel, she doesn’t want to see Fidel, she walks the other way. She asks Abel to accompany her as Fidel is lurking and listening.
Camilo comes back home and pours himself a stiff one. He sees a note left by Sara: Rest, have a good night, you deserve it, Sara.
Yago doesn’t understand what danger Ximena That’s her name!, poses. Katia reminds him that they are in the middle of a war, everyone needs to be vigilant. Yago just needs time to live like a normal person once in a while, to just let go and have fun, that’s all he did. Katia is warning him that she fell for Raul, and she doesn’t want Ximena chick to be another Raul. Teo arrives with good news. He found out about the boy who accompanied Hernan to Melina’s place. He knows where to find him.
Julia wants to know what’s happening between Fidel and Camilo. He’s on Fidel’s side now, she wants to know why. Abel agrees to tell her everything.
Ok, ok, I get the steamy sex scene woohoo. Sara lets herself into Camilo’s office, and as Camilo comes in, she takes off her robe, and then proceeds to take off her negligee. All Camilo do is swallow hard. Are you sure Sara, she’s VERY sure.
Abel tells her about the bomb test, etc. and as Julia says she doesn’t know which of her fathers is the worst, she feels faint and is about to pass out. Sheesh, please don’t let this be the old pregnancy cliche. I would be very disappointed if the pulled that out with THIS telenovela. This one is better than that.
Yago,Teo and Katia catch up with Pepe, the boy who was with Hernan. Yago offers him a job that pays good. They want Pepe to tell them where Hernan lives. He spills it for the right price. They go to Hernan’s house.
Hernan meets with Camilo, telling him that he met with the wine supplier of Yago’s bar and he’s an old acquaintance. He brings the wine in that afternoon. Camilo’s plan seems to involve this supplier bringing a bomb to the bar and setting if off. Sara hears the last part. This is very upsetting to Sara, Camilo assures her that it’s a small bomb only to scare them. Camilo talks her into go along with it. She hugs him just as Lucio brings Matias home to see it. Matias and Lucio leave.
Lucio runs to Damian, who sort of rubs salt into the Sara wound. Lucio then drops the bomb on Damian by telling him that Camilo had Ambar killed.
Hernan is giving the wine deliverer directions on the bomb and hands over some payola. Hernan then goes to his apartment and the funniest scene ever is there for our viewing. On a shoe rack are 5 pairs of red converse, LOL!!!! Those are the only shoes on the rack. I’m howling. Kinda like Norm Abrams closet, full of the exact same plaid shirts hanging up. Then he sits down and starts slapping himself in the face??? Ok, what’s up with that? He apparently doesn’t feel pain, or he really likes the feel of pain. He holds up a blackened fingernail, and proceeds to make it more black by hitting it with the butt of his gun. Just then, he hears Katia’s very loud high heels on the floor and perks up as they bust in. Katia needs to grab a pair of those red sneakers on the rack to silence her noisy feet. But no, Pepe gave them the wrong address, and Hernan calls him to congratulate him on a job well done.
Fidel reminds Julia of Camilo, that’s why she doesn’t want to talk to Selma about him.
Damian is at Camilo’s, he wants to talk about his daughter. Camilo assumes he means Sara, but no, he’s referring to Ambar. Damian knows he had Ambar killed. Damian wants payment for his silence. Payment? He want 20 million pesos for his silence. As Camilo writes the check, he tells him that it’s nothing personal, it was to get back at Yago. We see that the conversation is being recorded, we just don’t know who’s doing the recording. My guess is it’s Camilo.
At Ambar, Katia has to pull bartender duty because Julia is a no show. She’s tempted to drink, Teo notices and pulls her aside. The delivery comes, Yago signs for it and Ximena shows up at the same time. Yago tells her it was a fun time, but he can’t do that again.
Damian wants to tell Sara about Ambar’s death. He pulls out a recorder and plays it for Sara. We hear Camilo admit to it. Sara es impactada.

Oh this series of Yago is wonderful, so sad that very soon is gonna end. I am addicted to it, can't pass the day without seeing the current episode.
I hope that Sara plans something smart to make Camilo pay for Ambars death. She also needs to discover that Lucio was involved. Eww miracle that Sara didn't vomit with just the thought of sleeping with Camilo.
Oh hope that the bar doesn't explode and they discover the bomb at time.
Oh Abel has more lifes than a cat, I was thinking that he would die with the bomb and it was a fake one. Fidel surely knows how to play with everybody's lives including us, the public.

I watched it this morning. I have a whole new set of thoughts tumbling around in my brain now. Like: what if Lucio and Sara confessed to Fidel and Yago, begged their forgiveness, and offered to help destroy Camilo? That didn't seem likely yesterday, but now that Sara knows Camilo killed Ambar, maybe it's more plausible.
Oh Snap. I feel asleep yesterday.

Thanks Cathyx! Yes, it's time consuming. But it is so cool (as a viewer) to get so much stuff in every episode. (And yeah, the shoe rack was hysterical. Why does he bother to keep them in pairs? He just needs to put all the L sneakers on the left, and all the R sneakers on the right.)
It also cracks me up to see Damian with gray hair in flashbacks. He looks so ridiculous now with the Grecian Formula or whatever it is.
The flashback at the beginning of this episode broke my heart. Poor kid trying to cook like her sister. I'm amazed she ever had a charitable thought towards her jerk of a father.

(I doubt she is pregnant, she just had sex with Abel a couple of days ago in story time, right? So it would have to be with someone we don't know.)

Thanks, Cathyx! I just watched. I can't believe they left us hanging with that wine bomb. But what really has me shocked is that Camilo had a bomb delivered with alcohol in a bar where Julia works as a bartender! What the hell is he thinking?!
Right now my guess for who gets killed/injured by the bomb are: 1) Ximena-- adding to Yago's sense of guilt, 2) Teo-- pushing Katia over the edge, or 3) Julia-- karmic justice for Camilo.
Interested to see what Sara does next now that she knows she's shacked up with the man who killed her sister. Ooh, I can't wait to see the drama when she also finds out Lucio aided it. Damian did something helpful for once, and got paid for doing it. A win-win for him.

I predict that no one will be hurt by the bomb. Why? Because it seems impossible to avoid, and we're constantly being surprised. So it would be surprising for no one to be hurt.
Maybe there's a big fight out on the sidewalk and everyone runs out to see, just before the bomb goes off.

Before Sara found out that Camilo killed Ambar, I was wondering what her game is? Why did she sleep with him? What does she want? She makes no sense. She takes Mati because Lucio killed Tomas and brings him to the home of a known killer. At least Lucio loves Mati. Does she just want someone to protect her? Money? Power? We know her sense of self preservation is strong but I feel like she is playing Camilo for something more specific but I can't figure out what.
Sara enjoys being well-off, powerful and part of a power couple. She is done with Lucio and just can't deal with the loser he is anymore. He is her albatross, weighing her down. When she met Yago, she thought she could have it all-- a man she desired emotionally and physically, AND wealth and power by his side. That blew up in her face, but Lucio is still a liability in her eyes, and she's been trying to find the best way to get rid of him, while also securing her future. Along comes Camilo, who obviously desires her. The only complicating factor is Matias, who loves his father dearly. For that reason she's been treading carefully, because she doesn't want Matias to hate her. If not for Matias, she would have been way more cruel to Lucio, kicked him to the curb indefinitely, and would have found a way to become Camilo's leading lady way sooner.
