Sueño de Amor (SdA) US #116 (MEX #120, #121). Friday August 26, 2016. Señorito Confundido

Sorry, lady, but I'm too handsome to have to worry about making decisions!

At a glance

-- Ricardolt is very confundido (confused) and can’t decide between the two idiotic women that are debasing themselves to win him over. Poor perplexed little prince! How will he ever manage this stressful situation with only two neurons to rub together?
-- The preparations for the rushed wedding of stepsiblings Pato and Luca are well underway.
-- Ernesto preemptively ends his “relationship” with Esperanza.

A closer look

Esperanza is visiting gravely-ill Ernesto and fawning over that drooling fool she says she is madly in love with. “A few days ago, Ricardolt hated me and now he loves me again! Well, with half his heart at least!” “That’s a big advance!, exclaims Ernesto sarcastically. He curtly tells her that he is tired and wishes to be alone, thank you very much.

Downstairs, PatoLuca are chatting excitedly about their upcoming nuptials. Esperanza tells them what happened upstairs and acts slightly wounded that Ernesto was upset by her insensitive swooning over her precious Ricardolt.

Anya and Pedro are all lovey-dovey. He announces that he has a surprise for her.

Luca checks on Ernesto and they briefly discuss the situation between Esperanza and Ricardolt. Luca remarks that the subject didn’t bother his father before, what’s new now? Before, things between Esperanza and Ricardolt were impossible. However, right now, there is a real possibility that the two of them might rekindle their romance.

The next morning at Casa Guerrero, after finishing a bowl of muesli and chinese weevils, Esperanza confides to her children that she feels guilty over what she did to Ricardo and over the fact that, because of her, Ricardolt and Cristina Vélez Valderrama (CVV) are separated. Pato and Pedro tell their mom to go for her man. All is fair in love. Besides, it’s time for the Guerreros to embrace happiness and leave the tears behind. This is especially the case now that Pato is going to get hitched at barely 18 years of age and that Esperanza has recovered from stage IV cancer thanks to a combination of anecdotal therapies, bug-based remedies and old wives’ fables.

At the only private hospital in Sueñolandia, ex-oncology nurse Anya Blabbermouth Rodríguez confesses to her patient, shooting victim Ricardolt Confundido Alegría, that she broadcasted to the world the confidence he made to her about his hesitation between Esperanza and CVV. Thankfully, Ricardolt will be discharged tomorrow, so it’ll be easier for him to dodge his two ladyfriends. Instead of scolding Nurse Chismosa/Gossipy for her indiscretion, Ricardolt admits that she did him a favor, because he must confront this sticky situation with his women anyway. He loves them both equally and, since he can’t shack up with the pair, all he envisages in his future is chaos and confusion.

Clueless Viviana is once again the last one to learn any new piece of information in Sueñolandia. She doesn’t find out that PatoLuca’s wedding is a go until she pays Ernesto a visit at home and he breaks the news out to her. She is happy that Esperanza has finally approved the ill-advised nuptials between the stepsiblings. Without transitions, Viviana offers to donate a kidney to the father of her children. He refuses. She confides to him her marital problems with Mario. The way things are going, they’re heading for divorce. Ernesto insists that donating her kidney to him will cause her more problems with her husband but she says she doesn’t care. Said husband is freaking out and yelling like a madman at work because Begoña made him drop his architectural model.

At Instituto Palacios, CVV tells Esperanza that, as the dignified woman she is, she has decided to withdraw from the race for Ricardolt’s heart. Lady Chatterbox Alcahueta Margarita, the adoptive mother, confidante and go-between of the entangled trio, has further spread the news about Ricardolt’s confusion. As a result, CVV declares that she is neither prepared to stay with a man who says he loves two women nor is she interested in hearing his pretexts and explanations. She wishes Esperanza much happiness with the confused scoundrel but she reproaches her for the cruel game of manipulation that she played in the coupling and uncoupling of Cristardo (Cristina + Ricardo). Esperanza lists all the ways in which she was not at fault, from her serious illness to Kracy’s shenanigans. Nevertheless, she apologizes for everything and reiterates the reason she started this intertwined web of lies and victimhood: It was all out of love. Esperanza urges her rival to fight for the man they both love. CVV says she has dignity and the welfare of her child is now her prime concern. After Esperanza leaves the office, CVV loses her composure ever so slightly and cries those picture-perfect tears that make her look like a delicate porcelain doll.

Abril, Selena and Rodrigo cry their eyes out because they are going to be separated. Aaand this is the reason why I hate Ricardolt and CVV with the intensity of a thousand suns! The way they jumped into an intense relationship so quickly, so recklessly, involving their children from the get-go and exposing them to such heartache is simply unforgivable! Their selfishness is particularly cruel in light of the trauma the kids suffered because of the abuse and violence of Óscar and Kracy. Esperanza consoles the kids and suggests that they prepare a surprise for Ricardolt’s return from the hospital.

Ernesto tearfully narrates to Viviana the adventures of Señorito Confundido with Esperanza. Ernesto is aware that he lost his only opportunity to be with the woman he loves, that she will end up with Ricardolt and that, upon reflection, she was never his. He thought-bubbles that all the time he invested in Esperanza was for nought.

Paulo Rey invites Salma to some party and announces that he has new “special candy” for her to try.

On their way out of school, Adrián tells Estrella and Kiko that he is reluctant to share his suspicions about Salma’s drug use with his stepfather and mother in case they turn out to be false.

At the constructora, Mario is still having a hysterical hissy fit over his scale model with wails, sobs, yelps, self-doubt,... The works! This is the moment Viviana chooses to show up and announce her intention to donate a kidney to Ernesto. You can imagine how that conversation went down. Mario forbids her to sacrifice a kidney for her ex-husband, a man who humiliated (sobajar) her for years and only married her for her money. The disagreement turns into a heated argument between the pair.

Abril asks permission to go to Casa Alegría for Ricardolt’s return from the hospital. CVV agrees to take her there then pick her up later. After Abril leaves, CVV admits to us that she can’t live without Ricardolt. She weeps with abandon and, once again, with utter exquisiteness. She is the prettiest crier I know, after Susana González, of course. I could look at them cry all day!

Silvana is still lurking around Anastasia’s baby, especially after the beating that Napoleón received from the baby-purchasing folks.

Margarita and Félix are at hospital with Ricardolt. It makes sense seeing how they seem to be the only friends he has, ever since Iker passed away and Baxter moved to Timbuktu in a desperate attempt to cut the Alegría out of his life forever. Esperanza shows up and Ricardolt looks at her as if she had just walked in the door bikini-clad and with a brand new boob job. Esperanza admits that she is there because she learnt that Ricardolt is confundido and because CVV decided to forfeit the competition for his affection. Besides, if Esperanza continued to love him despite 20 years of absence, she is not going to give up now. She is determined to fight for their love. He thanks her for showing up, as it is a great proof of love, but he says he must see his children first, because they must be very confundidos as well, the poor babies. Esperanza says it hurts her that he loves CVV and more so because she is the one who provoked that love. Anya interrupts and Señorito Confundido is wheeled out of the room. He fills Margarita in on the latest information in his amorous confusion: Esperanza says she is ready to do anything to win him back and CVV broke up with him via proxy. Anya urges Esperanza to fight for the Perplexed Principito, especially now that her love rival has decided to give up (doblar las manos).

CVV drops Abril off at Casa Alegría where the kids are preparing a surprise welcome for Ricardolt. On her way out, she asks Andrés the manny to keep an eye on Abril. Andrés asks why CVV isn’t staying to roll the red carpet for Sueñolandia’s most virtuous, most extolled, most adored and most venerated hero. CVV informs him that her engagement to Ricardolt is officially over. Andrés gives her an incredulous look. Maybe Andrés as well has a crush on the Rickster. 90% of Sueñolandia does, why not him too? Selena and Rodrigo tearfully tell CVV that the welcome party won’t be complete without her and they wonder whether they are no longer going to be a family. CVV asks them to give her a hug.

Adrián thanks Estrella for helping him through his crises. He is happy and he has forgiven his dad. They have a much better relationship now.

At the bridal shop, Pato is shopping for a wedding dress in company of her mother. They chitchat about what happened in the hospital. Pato is convinced that Esperanza will be making advances to win over Señorito Confundido, now that CVV is officially out of the panorama. Esperanza gets the sads because she will miss her quacking little duck after she marries Luca and moves out of Casa Guerrero. Later on, she gets the sniffles again when she remembers her cancelled wedding and the fear she had that she would die, leaving her children behind.

ACasa Alegría, the kids welcome King Ricardolt home with drawings, decorations, costumes, a crown and even a little stage play.

In her obscure motel room, Kracy disfigures a photo of CVV. Poor loca can’t afford a real voodoo doll.

Viviana informs Adrián that she has decided to donate a kidney to his father. Mother and son have an impromptu dance session that lifts both their spirits.

Back at the bridal shop, the mother-daughter conversation moves back to the subject of Ricardolt. Pato urges Esperanza to fight for the man she loves, no ifs, ands or buts.

CVV goes to Casa Alegría to pick up Abril. Ricardolt meets her at the door and wants to talk. She orders Maestro Alegría to address her from now on as Señorita Vélez Valderrama. Henceforth, their relationship will be strictly professional.

Ricardolt confides to Margarita that CVV is acting so cold towards him. She hates him now. Margarita assures him that this is not the case. Ricardolt broke CVV’s heart, that’s all.

Outside Casa Alegría, CVV straps her kid to the cars backseat and prepares to get into her SUV to drive home. Suddenly, Kracy lunges at her with a scalpel (bisturí) in hand and attempts to disfigure her pretty face. CVV manages to neutralize Kracy with a series of backhand bitchslaps that were simply majestic. I’m loving this bada$$ side to CVV. This woman is too good to be snivelling over a loser like Ricardolt.

Speaking of snivelling, Kristel is SkyChatting with Pedro from her exile in Tabasco, digo, Barcelona. She flirts with Blond Cubby but he informs her that he has a girlfriend. “So soon?” asks Kristel, rather offended. “Weren’t you supposedly in love with me?” Well, Pedrito belongs to the Ricardo Alegría Sandoval school of love.

Inside Casa Alegría, Margarita instructs Ricardolt to quit grumbling (rezongar). Apparently, he was trying to get rid of her under the pretext that surely she and her husband have better things to do than breathing down his neck all day every day. Margarita says she won’t leave the Rickster’s side. Andrés the manny can take care of the kids and “this nanny right here will take care of this baby!” she announces, forcefully trying to impose her nursing services. I wouldn’t fall asleep around Márgara, if I were you, Ricky boy! Not with that delicious and muscly chest on full display!

CVV informs Ricardolt of what happened with Kracy. As expected, he calls Baxter and berates him for not locating and arresting Kracy. Whatever happened to your move to Timbuktu, Baxter? If it fell through, you can move in with me, honey. I have a spare room and I live all the way in Africa.

Ernesto confides to Regino his disappointment in Esperanza. Everything he did for her was for nought! All his love, all his dedication, shaving his luscious locks and sacrificing his own health for her sake, only for her to abandon him the minute Ricardolt became half-available again! Regino opines that all women are ingrates. That’s why the saying states that they should be given neither all the love nor all the money (Ni todo el amor, ni todo el dinero). Ernesto, with much bitterness in his voice, instructs Regino to monitor Esperanza’s every step and report back to him. He also orders him to keep his eyes peeled for Kracy.

Viviana pays Esperanza a visit at Casa Guerrero and recounts what happened with Mario. Viviana feels her husband doesn’t love her and, back in Casa Conde/Kuri, Mario is drinking and thinking to himself that his wife doesnt love him. She is still in love with her ex and Mario believes he could never live up to Ernesto de la Colina. Well, hell outlive him so thats a consolation!

It appears that CVV bitchslapped Kracy into a new dimension of crazy. Poor loca sees her bruised and bloodied face in Ciro’s phone camera and she totally flips out. Why that barely legal teenager sticks around is beyond comprehension. There’s plenty of easy sex and easy money to be had in Kracy-less locations and Kracy-less situations. Run, little orderly, run!

Esperanza visits Ernesto and brings him a book. He looks awful and is in a somber mood. He doesn’t want her to be with him out of pity or out of gratitude. “I’m not here out of pity”, she affirms. “You’re not here out of love either”, he retorts. He asks her not to sugar-coat things. She is with him because she is thankful to him. She admits she is but she also has a lot of affection for him. “I’m sorry but for someone who is truly in love, the word ‘affection’ ends up being perceived almost as an insult. Esperanza, I gave you my life and it was of no use!” reproaches Ernesto. Esperanza reminds him that she never deceived him. Even when she accepted to marry him, he knew full well that she was in love with Ricardolt. Yes, confirms Ernesto, in love with the man who fell in love with another woman at the drop of a hat! How deep was Ricardolts love if he loved Esperanza, then a couple of months later, he was ready to marry CVV?

Margarita is at Casa Vélez for the latest gossip to take back to the other members of the love triangle. CVV says she is not a bad woman, all she wanted was to start over, fall in love again and give her daughter a family. She sobs prettily in Margarita’s lap.

Back at Casa De la Colina, Ernesto is still trying to break up with the woman who was never his woman to begin with. “Our wedding preparations were abandoned halfway. Thank Heavens you were cured!” continues Ernesto. “All would’ve been better had Ricardo married CVV. As for us, little by little, we would have forged a lovely relationship, until reaching the point where you would love me. Now I regret stepping aside like an idiot and throwing you back into the arms of Ricardo!” Esperanza cries throughout Ernesto’s monologue. She pleads with him not to torture himself like this. “For this reason precisely, I’m telling you that I no longer want your crumbs (migajas)! I settled for them once but I don’t want them anymore. I want all or nothing! And since I know I won’t have it all, I prefer to be alone, even if these are the last days of my life!” Esperanza tearfully protests: “I want to support you, Ernesto! I want to be with you, give you back some of all the things you did for me! Please!” However, Ernesto seems to have made up his mind: “All of this [that you’re saying] is a disguise (disfraz) for what I told you [earlier]: Pity and gratitude! If I don’t have your love, Esperanza, I don’t want anything from you anymore. I don’t want to see you anymore. That’s why I’m asking you to please leave and never come back again! Please!” Awww, break my heart, why don’t you! I want to reach through the screen and give him a hug.

A quote from the capítulo

“Discúlpame, pero para alguien que está enamorado, alguien que ama de verdad, la palabra ‘cariño’ se termina percibiendo casi como un insulto.”*

*Ernesto is sick of receiving Esperanza’s crumbs: “I’m sorry but for someone who is in love, for someone who loves truly, the word ‘affection’ ends up being perceived almost as an insult”. Like Nina Montenegro in “Pasión y Poder” once said, in an epic confrontation scene with her rat of a husband: “¡El cariño es para las mascotas! Affection is for pets!”

Your viewing vocabulario
(these definitions are context-specific, unless otherwise indicated)

sobajar = to humiliate.
doblar las manos = to give up.
bisturí = scalpel.
rezongar = to grumble, to complain.
(A la mujer,) ni todo el amor, ni todo el dinero = A rhyming variation goes like this: “A la mujer, ni todo el dinero, ni todo el querer”, meaning that women should be given neither all the love nor all the money. This is such a misogynistic saying because, really, a rat is a rat, no matter their gender. There are traitors and ingrates in both sexes.
migajas = crumbs.
disfraz = a disguise.

Thank you for the pleasure of your company. Please join us again for the next capítulo. We’ll be saving you a seat!

Hellow amigowz! I'm so sorry about the tardiness but I've been experiencing connectivity problems all evening. Enjoy the recap and the discussion!

Good night :)

Thanks, Nandicta. No problem. My internet connection here is not the most stable here either, believe me. Loved you including the quote with the same message from PyP. ITA Anya is a blabbermouth and that Ricardo and Cristina made their children suffer needlessly by carelessly including them in their relationship way too soon. Ernesto is all yours. :)

So,
Tracy can dish it out but could not take Cristina punching her face in. I like Cristina even more than I did for fighting back.
Margarita has turned into the great mother and advisor for everybody.
Mario has "lost it" due to his need to live up to his own impossibly perfect image of himself. I wonder if he will recover and remain with Viviana. The worst is that he would leave and take rotten Salma with him. That wouldn't be a total loss no matter how you cut it.
Viviana wants to donate a kidney? Why?
Esperanza is back in the thick of things with Ricardo. Another Why?
Ernesto does have some self respect eventhough he is a little too crazy eyed lately.

Nandicta, this was fantastic.

"that Esperanza has recovered from stage IV cancer thanks to a combination of anecdotal therapies, bug-based remedies and old wives’ fables" was my favorite of many.

I have a profound respect for Cristina now. I can't wait to see her slapping Tracy into next week. She is quite fierce! I would have a greater respect if the character didn't still have every hair in place after she has stood up to and given Tracy her due. "She is the prettiest crier I know, after Susana González, of course". I totally agree! I never feel though that Susana is acting though, she seems to profoundly feel her grief. I don't dislike Marjorie but feel she is a better villain (a la Kendra in Amores Verdaderos). Her character here seems to be trying to follow the mandate to look perfect in every single scene, which is not possible after a physical altercation.

Perfectly understandable that Ernesto is bitter. He did everything possible (and more) to be there for Esperanza, in every conceivable way. I'm sure having Cris enter the picture gave him false hope she and Ric would sail away leaving the field wide open for him with Esperanza. Yes, she never lied to him but she must realize that he is madly in love with her and is not taking kindly that she has now decided to run after the indecisive Ricardo.

Vivi and Mario were happy. Was it really necessary to have them get to the point of breaking up? This must be some sort of record. How long have they been married?

So how many potential kidney donors did Ernesto have? Anastasia, Pato and now Viviana. Am I missing anyone?? I can see Pato might want to donate, but Anastasia and Vivi? It's beyond me.

It seems Ernesto may have found some gumption but has he turned to the dark side again? Your "crazy eyed" has me concerned Jarifa. Uni is behind again so I'm a few episodes off.

Nandicta, very clever. Thank you for the excellent vocabulary too.

Still have no idea how this will end...

Diana

Diana, Ernesto has me worried, too, because he may really think he has nothing to lose. He was so sad but very matter of fact.

Excellent recap, thanks very much!

I would also like to see CVV slapping Esperanza, or if the ratings are low, seeing them wrestle in the mud so Rickety Rick marries the winner...

Nandicta, welcome back and thank you for all of your hard work the last few weeks. We did miss your witty comments but having your recaps was a nice consolation prize :))

I'm lost with the episode numbers, can this end before it's my turn again? ??

Jarifa and Diana, Ernie is so close to the dark side, he's practically there already. He has 3 (!!!) potential donors, women who despised him only à few months back and he still dares to feel sorry for himself? Dude, you're lucky, have you forgotten that looong transplant list? Just because Espe still loves the guy that... she always loved? How about your 3 grown kids and brand new baby??? Don't they deserve for you to want to fight for them? What a shmuck!

At this point I have no words left for either Esperanza or Ricardo, they deserve one another. Kudos to Cristina for removing herself from such a demeaning competition. What's that nonsense about fighting for the one you love, and the one you love loves you back with half of his heart? A better man would't be worthy of such honor.
If Cris forfaits the fight, is it still a win for Esperanza? And is Cris truly out or will she changé her mind, too, just like Ric and Espe did? I'm kind of counting on it, we still have 10 episode for Univision to cut through before the end.

Adriana Noel

Yes. I would like to talk about that. Originally this tn had 130 plus the 2 hour special and at this rate, I guess it will end this friday. Combining two episodes in one leaves only one left, unless the grand final comprises THREE INTO ONE (God, the more they cut the more sense the story makes, Jajaja)!!!

Am I still up for monday and thursday? How is the roster for the next/last week?

Thanks

Morning lovelies! Many thanks for stopping by!

Jarifa, I agree completely with all the issues you raised, especially the "Why?", so many Why's, so many Qué-The-Hell's, so little time!

Diana, I too fail to comprehend all those things you pinpointed. This thing is all over th place and has gotten worse than anyone here could've imagined. They should've pulled the plug ages ago. Well, we will always have Julián, now that Ernesto is veering towards creepy territory! A word of advice, don't google anything about the show because you'll get major spoilers. Actually the ending was known several weeks before the finale aired in Mexico, because Mr. Genius producer, in a cost-cutting move, invited viewers to attend the last boda (major savings in extras and costuming). The attendees were so mad at what they saw that they diffused eveything with photos, all over the net.

Pablo, this TN is so utterly execrable that it doesn't even have epic slaps. That's why I was so excited about CVV's kung-fu bitchlapping! PyP was awesome in that respect. There were some Holy cachetadas, Batman! And well deserved too. Not just for theatrics and ratings. It was a ratchet and addictive drama. It messed with my emotions big time but in a great way. I miss it :( As regards the schedule for next week, please check your emails. I'm sending an email to the team with some suggestions to discuss.

Adriana, I missed my Patio Pals too! I thank you all for covering for me over the past weeks and for moving your busy schedules around to help me out. You are the bestest! Major points scored in your diatribe against Ernesto. I agree with evrything, though it is worth pointing out that he wasn't talking about giving up and dying without Esperanza, he just wanted to die without her around, swooning over her Ricardolt. Esperanza and CVV frustrate me to no end but both deserve way better than Ricardolt.

I've seen some cringeworthy and just awful awful clunkers in the past, all genres you can think of and from a variety of countries, but this one exceeds them all by light years! It is just mind-numbingly stoopid, illogical and inconsistent, I find it frankly insulting! As I said before, had any bozo on that "production" or "writing" team thought things over even for 5 minutes, our retinas and brain cells would've been saved.

Have a wonderful Sunday! :)

Nandicta, what an amazing recap. Girl you knocked it out of the ballpark. The "Ricardo, espranza & christyV show is very entertaining. These people create problems for themselves. And other people. Now here is where this show is kinda funny. The love triangle between these three bobble headed people. They've got their love spread out between four of them.
All baked up in a love speckled tear stained cake. OK is that as confusing to y'all as it is to me? Ok All I'm saying is that these folk are just living purely on emotion. Whatever the
Feeling is they jump on it. Not even
Thinking about the consequences, and
The way it will effect others they bring into their hair brained sceams(espranza, rickypoo).

I'm starting to see signs of the old Erny Creeping back in. Not good.
I'm moving christyV beatin the crap out ta kcracy. She would have killed espranza.

All these people want to give Erny a kidney and hes refusing? I guess him wants to die. What's the deal with him? We'll fond out in the next few weeks.

Ms Nan I love those extended names you
Give the lovers. They have so earned them.
Really good snarkily recap. Thanks.

"Loving" christyV beat in the crap iutta kracy. Correction.

Nandicta: CVV is the badass of badasses! Kicking butt & the triple slap to psycho Tracy.

Espi: Hate this woman with deep passion!

where did Pato get that ugly Blue purse with a big bug eyes? she should probably put it back in the toy box because she's about to become a grown-up child bride. And why why is espranza still wearing that red turban? she reminds me of the Mahatma rice guy, on the rice bag. she's so much prettier without it.

I don't know if that purse (she had another one in fucsia) actually exists and she is making the commercial, because I have noticed that she always make sure that the eyes are facing the camera. Coincidence or marketing? Mh! Maybe both, LOL!

So, "Un camino hacia el destino" gets a two hour finale tonight while it looks like we will be lucky to get a sliced and diced hour whenever that is. Might be nice if they let us know.

No novela today.

So much cutting and pasting to make this fit in the leftover time for Juan Gabriel's death to happen and spoil it all... I wonder what will Univisión do next to make the novela fit again in the three or four days left, Jajaja!

With respect to Juan Gabriel, RIP.

No Sueño today do to continuos coverage by Univisión of Juan Gabriel's death.

Pablo, our comments crossed. Sueño is listed on Zap2it tv listings through Sept. 9. Maybe they will be going back to single episodes?

Well... you know so much pulling and stretching breaks the rubberband!

They love covering deaths for very long, I remember they lasted a lot with Jenni Rivera and there still talking every day about JOan Sebastian. Hopefully they will go back to normalcy soon.

Very funny, as usual!

Nina, thank you for taking the time to read and comment. Much appreciated! :)
OK, this made me laugh to tears "The love triangle between these three bobble headed people. They've got their love spread out between four of them. All baked up in a love speckled tear stained cake." I love your cake analogies! I even appropriated the one you once used about PyP's Julia wanting her cake and eating too and the cake factory! :D

Come to think of it, these characters are they own worst enemies and are unidimensional as well as utterly cretinous because of the writing, primarily, but also because they're 40-something people acting like teenagers. I don't watch teenage drama series and the like. You know, the lovey-dovey stuff geered towards highschool girls. Avoided them like the plague, even when I was a teenager. However, I caught enough glimpses of them to know they usually revolve around hormonal immature kids acting like idiots half the time. Sorry for generalizing but that's what it always seemed to be like, to me anyway. I think what makes us see our Sueñolandia puppets seem even more moronic is that they act like the teenagers on those shows. If Paulo Rey acted like Ricadolt, he would get away with it. But a grown-a$$ man with two kids, an ex-wife and a job would not typically act like this. Nor would two adult professional women with responsibilities to shoulder and kids to support. In my opinion, it is this particular aspect, along with incoherent writing and abysmal production value that makes everything seem even more confusing and idiotic than it should be. A case in point is the issue that many on this patio have highlighted, why oh why are all these women that Ernesto treated like dirt coming out of the woodworks right now to offer him their kidneys? :D

Steve, thank you for popping in! Since you seem to head CVV's cheering section, let me tell you that, in this episode, I cheered CVV right alongside you when she kicked Kracy's cuckoo into another set of cocoa puffs! I still maintain that CVV deserves to get a ticket out of Sueñolandia and into a better pretend universe because Ricardolt does not deserve a woman like her.

Jarifa and Pablo, many thanks for letting us know that no episode aired today. Very sad news about Juan Gabriel. I'm a big fan since I discovered his music about a year ago. "Abrázame Muy Fuerte" gives me goosebumps every time I hear it and "Amor Eterno" is so moving it turns me into a blubbering mess! May his soul rest in peace and may his art continue to bring beauty to the lives of millions!

I can not stop making fun of Univision and I have been laughing since 2 pm/

They already had their plans to air this for another week and now they have an extra episode!! Jajaja! Thanks Juan Gabriel!

OMD (Oh My Dios)! You are so bad, Pablo, but I can't stop laughing! :D

All kidding aside though, you wanna hear something freaky? Apparently, the finale of Juan Gabriel's biopic "Hasta Que Te Conocí" was scheduled to air last night on Azteca Trece. Juan Gabriel on the day of the conclusion of his biopic series. What a creepy coincidence! Brrrrr!

See I still refuse to believe that he is dead, I forgot to writed *died. Juan Gabriel *died on the day of the conclusion of his biopic series.

Yeah... I am actually watching it (I have watched 2 episodes so far) and I also thought that was eerie, it gave me goosebumps.

I couldn't believe it either, until I saw the excessive coverage yesterday with a several hours special from Sal y Pimienta.

My friend Gerardo used to tell me that people die in trios, so every time someone died, he said, let's see who's next. Well. From the show business we lost comedian Polo Ortín, then living legend Chachita (our own Shirley Temple) and now Juanga... sad!

So, it's true? I thought it was some kind of an internet rumor or something! Poor guy! QEPD. :(

Well, this was the rerun from Azteca 13, the original airing was in TNT and ended months ago. It is a coproduction from Disney, Telemundo and Azteca, is actually pretty good, light years better than Joan SEbastians...

Any chance some lucky guy gets CVV in the end ?

RIP Juan Gabriel: international musical legend!

Dear patio pals, the recap is up, go tear it up and comment, please, thanks!
