Tres Veces Ana #66 and 67

Sneaky will have a recap for us later in the day, until then please discuss.

Recap posted below

(ok first I have to start out w/an apology, and I swear I'm not doing this on purpose to get out of recapping 2 hr epis I got home late and mixed up am and pm when I set my vcr and wasn't there for the first 1/2 hr to realize it wasn't recording, and that was the re-run and therefore my last chance so all I can do is say I'm sorry and hope there was lots of rehash at the beginning and ask anyone who saw it to fill in what I missed)

Where I came in is Inaki and BadAna negotiating, he wants sex she wants info they take it to the bedroom where she deplores his decorating taste and taunts/teases him w her memories of her,  ahem, exploits w/Marcelo in this very room. He tells her he'll be better than Marcelo b/c Marcelo didn't really know her and Inaki does, for example, he knows she went to Costa P to kill Jenny, Santiago told him when Jenny died and BadAna's return flight was a whole hour later. Ha! And he doesn't believe her when she says it was an accident, why would she have hidden the trip if her intent wasn't murder.
Bad Ana strikes back telling Inaki she knows he killed Daniel, he covers pretty well till she says her friend saw him and describes his motivations to kill in detail, Daniel had the love he was denied, she brings him to tears. He has a flashback and it looks like she's right.  Threats are exchanged and BadAna gets all excited over having the upper hand, she has proof he killed, he's just assuming. But Inaki isn't having fun and she leaves him to compose himself cuz crying turns her off.

FreeSpirit wants to go to the hospital but Sole and Remedios and Fac say no. Maribel feels sorry for her though and will help her find out the name of the hospital. (is she not allowed to use the phone, seems like she could call around to the hospitals herself and find out)
My girl Maribel (I still like her even though she's not perfect) can keep a secret. When Orlando comes over and demands to know what she and FreeSpirit were talking bout she tells him it was all about FreeSpirit and Santiago's first time, wanna hear? Orlando of course is completely turned off.

Remedios is tearfully asking her late hubby for a sign and Tadeo knocks (helloo sign) offering his support and understanding and telling her bout his ex stuff and Daniel dying.
Said ex is all up in her dead son's room crying over his laundry and making her husband look all uncomfortable and constipated so he goes off to pour himself a drink and call someone to look into her past.

Calm!Inaki meets up w/BadAna in the living room  where she tells him knowing he's a murderer turns her on (ahh psychopath love) Daniel never killed for her though he was willing, but Inaki she can see has no limits. He wants to know if she'd be willing to kill for him, she says first he has to make her fall in love w/him then we'll see, but she won't get a divorce. Trying to convince her to change her mind on that Inaki tells her all about Santiago and his new life. She's incredulous and gets pissed when he tells her the new woman is unique and beautiful.  (he's enjoying having that secret from her, he better keep it, its the only secret he's got left, she's scary good at grabbing the upper hand)
She sashsays out and  leaves Inaki unsatisfied.
\

Analu takes Val's mom her supper tray and asks her for a third opinion on whether she should go to the hospital. Val's mom says sure you should and face the wife upfront to prove you're not just a mistress, so FreeSpirit asks her to help her escape the pension.  Some back and forth on whether or not she will but she ultimately agrees to help
Val's mom also has a flashback to being a total b$@%ch when she caught Val and Gina in bed together, she started out calling Gina a sex worker and somehow got more insulting from there when Valentin told her she was his novia. She still really hates Gina.

\
Ramiro comes to the pension to see FreeSpirit Sole doesn't want him to and they talk about that for a while, he, credulous soul, thinks she will give Analu up one day. Anyway he's got a recording of Santiago telling FreeSpirit he's gonna be ok and please don't come to the hospital.

Next morning Val's mom offers to babysit Analu so Sole can go to work since, ya know she can't be trusted alone since she fell in love w/the wrong man. Val's mom knows how that goes, her son fell for a baaad woman, count on her to keep Analu from doing anything crazy. Sole leaves and they plot to get FreeSpirit to that hospital while Orlando watches from behind a tree. FreeSpirit (her spirit may be free, but her wings are  really running into some cage bars right now) is ready to leave but Orlando blocks the door. They argue, they aren't friends no mo and she kicks him in the groin and heads out w/her accomplice.

BadAna taunts Leonore bout Llora being her favorite and then yells at her b/c she's mad about being the last to know Marcelo has amnesia. Also she wants to know what that hope was Leonore mentioned when she thought she was talking to Llora and gets more pissed when Leonore won't tell.

Abue goes and yells at Santicelo for a while and poor Santi just gives up on explaining and takes it (and I tune out and use my RPC, so I may have missed something, I'm just so annoyed at her for treating a man who's confined to a hospital bed this way) Part of the reason she's so mad is she felt responsible for his "accident" which is news to him and he asks why and she explains about the investigation to find Analu, constantly asking him doesn't he remember and more verbal abuse and now she demands to know if he really found a clue, did he really find her granddaughter, and he looks majorly conflicted. Facundo comes in and saves him with he's got the amnesia, and now Abue is all apologies and we missed you so much. (whatever)

Ramiro goes to his dad's house to get the deets on Gina's life/lies/betrayal of just about everyone. His dad catches him and yells at him (again RPC on the verbal abuse) and sez he destroyed all Ramiro's papers and stuff so there and get out.
Dad lied, its all there in the middle drawer Ramiro didn't look in.

Analu and Val's mom get to the hospital, Analu is nervous and Val's mom is excited for her and goes to prepare the way/find out if the coast is clear/find out where Santi actually is. She goes in and asks the nurse for Santiago and Llora comes forward to ask why she's asking after her brother in law, and now Val's mom knows Analu has sisters, and she bout has an attack and Llora looks concerned and patiently explains again that Santiago is her brother in law/married to her sister, and Val's mom is all you have sisters?  and Llora figures out she's friends w/the other woman and starts asking more questions.
FreeSpirit gets impatient waiting outside and decides to take her chances and head in and that's it for this episode.

People that should have also been kicked in the groin this episode:
Ernestina-I was cringing during her tirade at Sant/Marc, she wouldn't shut her wide mouth to listen!

Ramiro's dad-almost as disgusting as Soledad, how can he treat his own son that way?! He needs a die! Ramiro's dad, die! Chant going.

Soledad-I'm getting tired of her face full of anguish over saving her own behind. Leaving Nerina and Orlando to guard Ana Lu is just sick.

Facundo-I'm still mad at how he treated Remedios

Orlando-He needs a constant kick in the groin, he is so despicable.

Looking forward to the recap!

Another exciting episode. Probably another near miss with AnaLu and AnaLlora. Your recap will certainly be appreciated on this one!

Looking forward to your spin on this episode, Sneaky!

Lily- I like your list. I would add Inaki, for betraying SantMarc with AnaLet, and for having killed Dan while allowing SantMarc to think he did it.

Thank you in advance for your recap, Sneaky.

Lily, good point about Orlando. When Orlando wouldn't let Ana Lucía out without him, it was time for her to call the police or I guess " kick him in the groin" like she did!! That was the best part of the episode. I was so happy she did not cave.

I laughed at Gina being described as Valentín's "dama de compañía" by Nerina.

Ana Leticia sure manipulated Iñaki to get him right where she wanted him. I actually felt bad for him. First his mother and now his power play just vanishing. Anyway, he did make Ana Leticia oh so uncomfortable and angry talking about Santiago/Marcelo's new love.

Another good laugh was the frozen and tongue tied Nerina seeing Ana Laura at the hospital.

I wonder how Santiago/Marcelo is going to react to both Facundo and Ana Leticia trying to control him.

Someone mentioned yesterday that SantMarc should leave the pension folks because they're holding him back from fully remembering his past life. I kind of agree. I think hanging on to that life is causing him to subconsciously block his memories. And I think Soledad's constant badmouthing of Marcelo has made him terrified of the man he was. This fear I think is what's causing the split personality and causing the dreams like him killing Dan in the hospital. He needs to get into therapy, immediately. I can't believe Facundo hasn't brought in a shrink to see him yet.

Vivi, the reason I can think of why no shrink is that Facundo's motivation may not be so pure and with a shrink he may lose the "control" he thinks he has over his son and the whole situation.

Oh, Jarifa - interesting point about motivation. Facundo may have another motive up his sleeve as well.

And Vivi, you may be on to something with the reasons Santi is blocking the memories. Sole's and Ev's opinions about Marcelo sure aren't helping. On Inaki - I was shocked that he turned out to be the killer!

Lily, I love this list and am kicking each of them together with you! Abue especially, I am thinking screaming and yelling must be a family trait.

I am glad Orlando did actually get kicked (go Ana Lu!!), but it was amusing a 25 year old woman was trying to think up excuses on how to leave the house. Did not particularly like that Nerina had to lie for her. And the night before and in the morning she was very nice and loving to Sole, as if she wasn't just prevented from seeing the man she loves and manhandled.

Ria- I think AnaLu was being calm and nice with Sol precisely to make it easier to sneak out to see Santi the next day. Maribel had offered to give her the hospital info and her help, so AnaLu was just laying the groundwork for Sol dropping her guard a bit.

Can't wait for your recap Sneaky. Honestly, the overall theme of this TN should be selfishness.

The few individuals that we can look at as positives in this story are at the hands of individuals who all have their own agendas, spout being supportive but only are concerned for themselves and now are resorting to unbelievable behavior and antics to secure those agendas. Hate to say, but even Remedios reaction to being turned away was a little over the top. Maybe if she invested in a cell phone she could just call Santi? Or Ramiro who could help her talk to Santi? Just sayin'

I agree Vivi, Santi needs to move out on his own...or even better, go away some place and try to get his "life" back: who he really is. To me it would be really interesting to see hin seek help somewhere and watch as he grabs back his real memories. Right now it's "remembering" based on the false planting of supposed facts he is getting from people.

Orlando truly is turning into a greasy, slimy creep. LOVED the swift knee to the nether regions by AnaLu.

Ramiro's sorry excuse for a parental unit has a picture of Gina too? WTH? I never noticed that before.

Disppointed the writers are going there with Inaki, but not surprised. He goes down, that selfish mother of his should too.

Was not watching Abue going on and on and on at Santi one of the most painful and mind-numbing scenes yet. Good lord. That was just a waste of filming.

And apparently this hospital has no visiting hours or restrictions on who can come in or out of someone's room. That hospital room is liking a revolving door. (And that blasted phone background noise is so aggravating. I was yelling at my screen...someone answer that damn thing already!!)

Someone, forgot who, so sorry :(, reminded us there are 70 more episodes of this TN? I need to lay in some crates of wine.

Vivi, yes, it looked like that's where they were going. I just continue to wish she would be more forceful - maybe not quite as forceful with Sole, as she was with Orlando ;) - but general idea is the same.

Daisy, I misses that part of Ram's father having a pic of Gina! Wow!

Daisynjay- What Ramiro's dad had locked in his desk was the investigation file on Gina that Marcelo gave to Ramiro on his wedding day. It's the file Ramiro was looking for, in order to start investigating Gina's life and learn if her death was suicide (and his fault) or murder as he now suspects. Dad said he got rid of all the files Ramiro left behind, but we quickly learn that's a lie.

Oooh ok, that's what I thought but I was only half watching him. Thanks, Vivi.

And Daisy, very disappointed on Inaki angle too. I was hoping for redemption for him and realizing the error of his ways at the end. S'pose not...

I wanted to kick Ernestina in the culo for her tirade at SantMarc. She is falling for Ana Loon's lies even after Ana Loon went into her bedroom and stole those heirloom earrings. How do you forget something like that?

I now suspect Ramiro's father of having murdered Gina. He had to have read that file or it wouldn't be locked in that desk drawer. He is definitely a sociopath because he shows no pain or remorse at his treatment of Ramiro. He was just guarding the family name by getting rid of Gina.

Facundo obviously has an agenda of some kind or he would have insisted that SantMarc see a shrink. Where are the three shrinks from PyP, especially the Miracle Worker who transformed Eladio (I'm still angry at how unrealistic that was)?

We will likely have another near miss at the top of tonight's episode with Ana Lucia and Ernestina.

Daisynjay, are you referring to that continuous beep from one of the monitors in Santiago/Marcelo's room? That is what is annoying me to no end. They don't have to try to be that realistic.

I think at huge end of it all, Santiago/Marcelo needs a completely new name when his past self and present self meld together; maybe something like Bartolomé. This show is such a hoot!

Huge? Where did that come from? THE end of all this.

John Smith and move to the US, Jarifa and Ana Lu can be Jane Smith. Nice and inconspicuous!

One thing we can definitely count on is Ana Loon really losing it when she encounters Ana Lucia, whom she has been wishing dead all this time. She probably will try to kill both of her sisters before this is over.

I'm still floored that Inaki killed his brother. I was hoping that Ana Loon was just trying to gaslight him but he didn't deny anything and stupidly once told her he'd do anything for her. How could he be so dumb as to think he won't pay with his conscience? Because I think he still has one. That will be his tragedy. And I'll bet he won't get to boink Ana Loon.

These two could star in a Televisa version of Body Heat.

That's a good one!

I'm so disappointed in Iñaki. Any chance that he really didn't kill David but is letting AnaLe think so cause this a turn-on for her?

Vivi, so glad you explained about Ramiro's dad guarding Gina's photo cause I thought this meant he was another of her conquests.

Niecie- Just because it was the investigation case file/photo doesn't mean that Edmundo didn't ALSO have something going with his son's fiance. Nothing would surprise me. Gina got around!

Niecie- Nice wishful thinking. But it was clear Inaki murdered Dan. And it was a great win-win situation for him-- he got rid of one AnaLet rival, got his money, didn't have to undergo surgery, AND got to cause Juli immense pain.

Vivi - Ramiro's dad did look kind of wistful at Gina's photo. More emotional than he's been with his own son.

Argh! Dang, Iñaki. All that hotness goes to waste.

Oh....my....Godzilla! This show was such a ride, my mother came but decided to watch the Olympics & I'm yelling @ her from the other room "you're missing it, lady!".

Anyboogiewho, Viv I guess our Inaki is now outta the grey & into the black area. How sad, but he might still become a redemptive hero in the end (give up his true love, Ana Loca, to the authorities) or crash & burn w her (maybe a Thelma & Louise move off the cliff after she realizes she loves him & they'd rather die together than be taken down by the police hunting them!).

Sore-lando. Glad that after many days of praying for shins to be kicked, the universe answered our call. The perfect target, and I dont just mean the who....but also the where!

Solebad & Funky, as usual, annoy me.

Ram & Tin were hilarious together, I kept expecting Ram to push his wheelchair down the stairs.

Loved AnaLu fighting for her love and showing she's got street smarts! The slap and now the kick, makes her and Orly 2-1.

Loved Nerina's comic relief (in the flashback & at the hospital).

Despise Erni, whattabish, once again she puts her own foot in her mouth....precisely where I'd like to put my foot!

Ramiro's dad, Edmundo, is the biggest jerk! I figured he was either one of Gina's conquests (along w/ Isidro--yes, I'm still waiting on that reveal! lol) or he was the one that killed her after finding out about her affairs....or BOTH! OR maybe he also (along w/ AnaLet) paid Gina to marry Ram to distract from Llora & when she failed, he killed her off!

And finally, Mariano. I used to call him Marrano (as in pig/swine) b/c he was such a womanizer, but his beautiful eyes & commitment to Jenny softened my attitude. Welp, you're back on my name-calling characters sh*t list. Thy name henceforth shalt be Marrano!

Did I miss anybody? If I did, I'll be back :)

Anna- I hear you about Mariano! One of the things that has become clear is that when Gina dumped Val and said she was going off with a rich dude, she meant Mariano. However, Val thinks the man she was having an affair with and dumped him for was Ramiro, when in reality, Ramiro came along later. This is why Ramiro is so damned confused, and one of the reasons Mariano looks so damned guilty. We learned last night that after she dumped Val, Mariano basically kept Gina, and was surprised when she later started dating and getting serious with Ramiro. Hence the Gina-Mariano convo in bed about neither of them being able to be faithful-- he to Jenny, her to Ramiro. It's not in their nature-- they're both hos.

Vivi Hahahaha, you're always so pristine in your language, love that the best adjective for them pretty much comes down to that :D

Anna - what you said at the end of yesterday's comments, about Ana Let vs Ana Lu having access to Santi in the hospital - thank you. I had been trying to think of a way to say the same thing, but you said it perfectly.

Right, I'm thinking Edmundo got it on with Gina, too! #yuk

Looks like both Tadeo & Sandro are on the case to find out if Daniel is their son. Sandro hired the PI (will probably be Evaristo) to investigate Julieta's background...something he should've done 25 years ago.

If things don't work out between Julieta and Sandro, Julieta would probably make a great wife for Ramiro's dad. They have plenty in common: they both suck.

I suspect that there's a special reason for Ramiro's father's attitude: maybe he's not really Ramiro's father. He had to raise another man's child and he's very bitter about it. So... whose half-brother might Ramiro be?

I'm skeptical that AnaLet will ever allow Inaki in her pants. I think she's saving herself for Marcelo.

I was actually laughing during Abuela's long rant at Santi. At first it was annoying, but then I realized that she was on a roll. She kept asking him questions, in the most desperate tone, yet not letting him answer. After a while, it became funny. Except I was starting to worry that she'd have a heart attack. Facundo's arrival was a real buzzkill.

(I thought I heard a cell phone ringing during the Santi/Abuela scene too, so it wasn't just Daisy.)

Anon207, I hope Evaristo isn't Sandro's PI! I demand to see proof that there's more than one PI in all of Mexico!

Julie Yea, I hope I didn't come off rude (it's hard to read context in writing), but I wanted to make the case that marriage isn't always black & white. In our society, we're very critical of females and I know we joke around here, but there are women (like my mom & grandma) who are afraid of relationships b/c of the stigma they might get for divorcing or moving on. The worst occurs when relationships are public & open to scrutiny. I remember when Brad & Jen were going through their divorce, everyone accused Angie of infidelity (mind you, forgetting to accuse the male). I just don't feel that it's appropriate to blame the female, unless the circumstance involves a marriage that is still salvageable, includes children, and the husband is still in love/committed to his wife. In the case of both the celebutants and this TN, the marriage was broken and the divorce was in progress. It makes no sense to hinder true love just b/c paperwork isn't officially complete. Everyone's opinions are valid, and that one just happened to be mine.

Julie- I didn't see the episode, but in the recap from that episode it was stated that Edmundo hates Ramiro because he blames him for his mother's postpartum depression and suicide. I think she just realized too late what a colossal jerk she had married and wanted out. She should have made sure her baby was given to someone who would love him before she took her life.

Anon207 Right! How did he not wonder if it was his baby it was if she supposedly just started seeing him when she left them. Or did she cheat on Tadeo for awhile?

Julie Yes! Ghoulieta & Dreadmundo are a good fit!

Good theory on Ram being someone else's kid, maybe him & Santicelo are half-brothers??

"Saving" herself, you mean like a reverted-virgin? lool

I was actually looking for something to throw when she started ranting. Unfortunately, didn't have any socks on yesterday & my remote is a frickin' brick

Me too, if all we have is 1 taxista, 1 investigator, and 1 pension then I suppose it makes sense that Gina is the only "dama de compañía" :P

Vivi, I remember the explanation about Ramiro's mother's suicide - that's why I said I thought there was an OTHER reason for him hating Ramiro. Because I didn't think the stated reason was good enough. Though admittedly, a jerk like Edmundo would probably have said "I'm not even your real father" a long time ago if that were the case.

Anna, I thought when Ghoulietta (I'm not sure if it's fair to slander ghouls by misusing their name, but I'm a team player) left Tadeo, she said that she was pregnant and it wasn't his. Maybe I'm not remembering that right, because if that's how it went down, then it's weird that all these years later Tadeo suddenly wonders if Daniel is his. He should have wondered right away "how does she know it's not mine?"

Has anyone noticed that at the beginning of most of the hospital scenes this week, you can faintly hear in the background that someone keeps paging a Dr. Lorenzo (i think) Perez? It's not really noticeable but I did hear it at least 5 times this week during the episodes. Possible that they're laying the groundwork for a new character?

PS i'm going to keep listening for it - if they continue to page this doctor i'm sure it has some kind of meaning!

On Inanki's killing of Daniel

Vivi: do we have a scene confirmation of Inaki killing Daniel in the hospital? I think he certainly had much to gain with Ina's death so yes it could be him. But the only thing so far are two of the most shady and pathological liars in this TN: Ana Leticia and Evaristo.
Ana Leticia told Inaki that there was a witness to his evil deed. No mention of who it was. (Evaristo?). Granted Inaki did not deny it but as far as I can remember he did not say "yes, I killed him."
Evaristo: An episode back, Evaristo had his little convo with Ana Let in the hallway where she congratulated him on doing Inaki in but Evaristo protested (perhaps too much) that he might have been responsible for all other deaths but not this one. And he nodded his head in a direction blaming another source which of course Viewerville could not make out. At the time I thought he was pointing to Marcleo's room!
So Inaki may well have killed Daniel but given this twisted TN I am withhold judgement until the writers give us a flashback scene.
Ditto on Gina's death!

Floodgate- Yes, while Ana Leticia was revealing to Inaki that she knew he killed Dan, we saw a flashback of him doing it, and tears were rolling down his face remembering it.

Vivi - I stand corrected. I guess between flashback, dreams and lies, I missed the flashback. My brain was trying to figure out who the witness was. So Inaki is guilty. So far we have three murderers: Evaristo & co, Inaki and Ana Leticia. But surely there are others. (Let's exclude Marcelo since he's our mentally compromised hero!)

I'm still inclined to believe Gina isn't dead and Evaristo helped her fake her death. I want her to come back, because I think she's the only one who can take on Ana Leticia. They are two of a kind. Gina's just a version of Ana Leticia who was born without money. They can fight over Mariano, Ramiro and every other man's attention (and money) to the death.

I guess this means that I should give up INaki as my new telenovio. He probably deserves ANa Let-me-seduce-you. Que lastima. Buns of steel and Feet of clay. Back to the HIghlands.

vivi...yes...I would love to see a GIna\ANaLetme confrontation. Lipgloss at ten paces .

Still laughing at Nerina instantly sensing Gina was a ho, wanting her tossed out of the house and (I think) telling the maid she wanted the sheets changed ASAP!

So I would like to know how Nerina & Valentin lost all that money and why she's living in the pension and he's living in the vecindad. And WHO is Valentin's sibling?

I don't think Valentin's sister is anyone we know, unless she's an extremely minor character, like the receptionist or the other woman who works in Veridiana's shop. Otherwise, I think all of the female characters have had a chance to be recognized by either Valentin or Nerina. (Veridiana and Valentin were both at Jennifer's memorial service, right? And Maribel lives at the pension. Those were the only two candidates I could think of.)

Anon207- Didn't Nerina tell somebody how her husband's long illness wiped them out financially? Did I imagine that?

Vivi, you are right. She told that several times, more recently to Ana Lu. She said there were many bills and expenses and she hid the seriousness of their financial situation from children, not wanting to burden them. In the end they sued her and had her house repossessed.

Anonymous...yes, I do not understand much, but I got Nerina telling the maid that she wanted those sheets changed right away. Gina is a pretty obvious ho. No doubt about it. At least AnaLEtme puts on a sweet and innocent act in front of grandma .

Julie That's what I remember too, but we don't know for sure if she was just saying that to keep him off her back. We're not even sure how far along she was, and she never confirms how long she'd been in that relationship. So if there is in fact overlap, then anyone of them could be the father. But does it matter? Dani's donesies, and the only thing that this would do for the plot is if the call Sandro made was for a DNA investigation that would result in Julieta kicked out on her hiney, begging at Tadeo or Inaki's door for habitation.

Anon12:07 I checked Wiki and IMDB, it doesn't look like there's anyone by that name in the casting. I think it's just a hospital soundbite for the show. Unless they're filming in a real hospital, in which case I feel bad for the patients who're stuck with that doctor. Somebody needs to tell Dr. Perez that nap time is over.....and to do something about the jello, b/c it sucks.

Vivi YES, I am so with you! It would be the ultimate showdown! Then again, Gina was sort of wrapped around AnaLet's pinky for awhile, being contracted by her & also the whole pill-coercion.

Susanlynn Lmbo! I always look forward to your comments, Susanlynn. He's still in the running b/c you can tell he's riddled w/ regret. And "lipgloss at ten paces" had me rolling! :D

Anon207 That was my favorite part, too. Who knew Doña Nerina was so sassy?!

Btw, while I was looking through the cast I was checking the IMDB/Wiki for some of them and didn't realize that Susana Dosamantes (I LOVE her last name :P) is the mother of Paulina Rubio!

Anna- It would have to be a Gina who now knows AnaLet had it out for her, so that she wouldn't fall into her traps again. Gloves off!

Jarifa, there was THAT beeping and then even in the hallway you heard an incessant ringing. Drove me batty. Thought the nurses station was a hoot actually. Yeah you can really run a hospital floor from that. Budget.

Still sad on Inaki. I know, I was the one who even put it out there he was a possible supect, but I just don't want him to be. There was also something in his look when AnaLoon walked out the door that had just a slight look of disgust. If that "flashback" is the truth, and not AnaLoon putting that out there that she's turned on with the thought he could do that, then at least I hope the writers give the character a change to do "good" before his eventual anvil. He could still take AnaLoon down.

I had the oddest thought last night. All those people at Remedios who belong to the troupe...I mean they practice endlessly it seems, but ah, do they actually perform regularly? We've only seen one actual planned performance, but you really never see these people getting ready to go put on a real show. How the heck do they all earn a living? If it's not a regular gig, some of these people should look for additional gainful employment. I know...TN, don't question, just go with it.

I'm sad about Inaki too. I didn't realize right away that he was actually seriously in love with AnaLet; I thought he was just hot for her bod. It was sad enough when I understood that he was serious about her. Now it's even sadder that he killed for her. I mean, of all the women to kill for... let her do her own dirty work. It's not like she can't kill someone. She's done it before.

Regarding the ringing phone, I'll admit that I may be more sensitive to background noise than most. It drives me crazy... at work, even at home. I found that phone impossible to ignore. But I can understand why it might not be noticed with the sound of Abuela's ranting and raving.

Daisynjay, I am sure glad I never heard the phone. That would have just added to the annoyance.

I am looking forward to the recap. My heart sank when I saw the scene between Ramiro and his father. It made me think of how my mother and brother shunned me for so many years. I hate it when people throw away their family members and don't speak to each other.

Did Inaki really kill Daniel? Or was Ana Le trying to tell him that she thinks he did and threaten to accuse him? I'm kind of confused about that. These flashback scenes sometimes lead us in the wrong direction.

Loved the scene where Ana Lucia kicked Orlando in the groin. Good going! He deserves it. And Nernina's face and open mouth when she saw Ana Llora. She looked like the wind was knocked out of her. Now as Ana Lucia approaches the hospital, will she see Ana Llora? Can't wait for tonight's episode.

Wow; I missed so many comments while I was out!

Nerina sure knew a ho when she saw one. Of course, Gina would never admit that she was right on the dinero. She probably also fooled around with Edmundo. How is it, then, that he didn't try to throw that in Ramiro's face? Or is he saving that for a rainy day?

I can't wait to see Sandro's face when he gets the lowdown on Ghoulieta. Tadeo doesn't deserve any of this. When he finds out that Daniel was his son and that his oldest killed him he will be devastated.

I am starting to build the Karmageddon page and it will be incredible.

There was a scene the other day that was shot as though it were a flashback but definitely wasn't. I was hoping that Ana Loon was just gaslighting Inaki but it doesn't look like it. I wish I could get my new TV installed because I hate waiting until episodes are available on the website.

I finally got got caught up except for the last 2 episodes which I'm watching in a few minutes.

I want to thank everybody who wished me a "welcome back" in their comments.

Do you guys think we will have to wait too many episodes while Santi gets back with AnaLe (novela rules this will happen) before he goes back to AnaLu (except for 2 novelas I know about: Ramona and La Virgin Esposa, novela rules this will happen).???

Of coarse meanwhile we might have to put up with AnaLu and greasy haired, killer Orlando--please don't let that happen

Oh also I'm looking forward to the Iñaki part except I don't want this hunk to be a killer. For awhile I thought he could be a Fernando Colunga replacement since his acting here has been so good, especially his smile and sexiness.

Sorry, I know I'm running late(r than ususal) am typing now will get it up soon

Daisy My sister is a flow-artist. She lives in a shared house w/ her flow group. Her expertise is dancing with a hula hoop or levitation wand, her bff does hooping & fire dance, & her bf does poi spinning, pyro sticks, hooping, and led contact juggling. The rest of the group are just as talented, but they're all waiters or work in flexible jobs that allow them to travel or do local shows. Every month there's a road trip to a festival, rave, or camping event. I hardly ever know when or where they've gone next until I see facebook posts of their trips. They also offer classes on the side to make extra money. And they all have a system on their individual phones/computers to simultaneously bid on cheap tickets to overcome shady scalper bots. It's a cool life if you're young, but I think Tadeo and Nerina are burned out b/c it's hard on the mind & body to keep that lifestyle up. My sister does what she loves, but there are times she deals w/ money woes & feels depressed. But I still envy her, I visit her just to watch them practice. She sweetly gave me my own polypro hoops but I can only do the basics.

Cynthia I'm finding a kindred spirit in you. I read your last comment to me yesterday & I was raised the same way. My mother speaks Spanish, Arabic, and English (the last one she learned from Wheel of Fortune) and neither her or my dad taught us. We lived in a house of 20 people, under my tyrant grandfather's rule. He was a millionaire so everyone did his bidding. He looks EXACTLY like Evaristo (luckily, I still warmed up to the character despite their similarities). B/c Arabic was a harder language, nobody was allowed to speak Spanish or English in his house. But mi abuela (his estranged wife) used to sneak me to their condo upstairs & teach me behind his back. Until I became too fickle to care. She'd always nag me while I was watching my kid shows. I was like "Woman, let me watch my cartoons!". And now look at me, struggling with my broken spanglish and confusing my genders or subjunctive verbs....and all b/c "Tom & Jerry" couldn't wait, smh

Anyboogiewho, I also was shunned by my mother and bro for many years. Only last year did we finally reconcile, so I feel ya honey :)

Sneaky Sneaky, do not fret my dear. We're all patiently waiting for you to treat us w/ another one of your recaps. Don't feel rushed, these are some long epi's and this one in particular is a doozy!

Part 1

Part 2

At least things are picking up now.

Sneaky two shoes, your recap had me on the edge off my seat, especially since I have never read a recap before watching the episode. I never read the end of a book first either, although I know many people do. So I really look forward to being in synce with the recaps.

**of not off.

Gracias, Sneaky. I loved When Orlando comes over and demands to know what she and FreeSpirit were talking bout she tells him it was all about FreeSpirit and Santiago's first time, wanna hear? Orlando of course is completely turned off. Good work!

Ramiro didn't see the file because that drawer was locked. Edmundo probably has the only key.

Nothing new in either Edmundo's or Ernestina's tirades. Both are playing broken records.

Soledad's determination to keep Ana Lucia locked up is Wicked Witch stuff. Interesting that Blanca Guerra could do such a role with very little makeup.

Thanks Sneaky, and thanks everyone for all these interesting comments. I have not seen the episode yet but like everyone else I'm bummed that Iñaki killed Daniel. But that makes him a worthy romantic partner for our killer AnaLeticia. Two single minded people with money and hot sex on their minds. It could work.

Looking forward to watching this now.

Susanlynn...loved your "buns of steel and feet of clay". Yup, that's our boy.

Thanks, Sneaky!

Thanks, Sneaky, for a great recap in spite of your technical difficulties. It was appreciated.

Judy B., loved your comment about Iñaki and Ana Leticia.

Urban, I cannot wait for your "karmageddon" page!

Great job, Sneaky! You got all the important stuff in just two posts. I guess that shows that so much of this tn is just filled with hot air or flashbacks. The only significant scenes I think you missed early on were the ones with Mariano and Val, who came to the hospital to supposedly offer moral support to Ana Llora (yeah right!). But really all Val does is make Mariano very uncomfortable and annoy the hell out of Ramiro, before he leaves. Mariano then went into flashback mode of he and Gina getting it on in their love nest, where he was keeping her after she left Val. This tryst happened just after the awkward meetup in the park where Ramiro introduced Gina as his fiance. Mariano isn't pleased that she's started a serious relationship with Ramiro, but Gina's not about to play his jealousy game. She reminds him that neither of them are built for monogamy. She stepped out on Val and plans to do the same with Ram, and he's stepping out on Jenny and doesn't plan to stop. They get busy again. In the present, Mariano looks really guilty about this.

Jarifa, that won't be up until about three weeks from the finale. I normally start building it early on so I don't miss any crimes or misdemeanors.

My apologies for not doing so for EHDLS and Yago, but life has a talent for sometimes interfering.

I'm not sure that Mariano could ever be faithful to any woman. He cheats as a way to avoid serious emotion.

That was a wonderful recap, Sneaky! Helped me to answer some questions I had.
However I still have more questions.

How many people was Gina with?
And with Valentin, what did he do for Mariano? I know he worked for him before his accident, right? What was his job?
Also, Valentin blamed Mariano for him being in a wheelchair. But wasn't it Valentin's fault? Didn't Gina advise him to fake some accident at his job to get more money? I am confused. Because if that is the case, Valentin needs to get out of the bottle and stop blaming Mariano for his paralysis. I wonder if he knows or suspect that Mariano and Gina were lovers?

I too am bummed that Inaki is Daniel's murderer. I think I missed that flashback. Also I am disappointed that Inaki would betray his best friend for Ana Loba.

Also, is Daniel really Tadeo's son?

VeronicaW

Veronica- First, you've got to accept the fact that Valentin is cray-cray. Yes, the accident was HIS own fault. He listened to Gina and tried to get worker's comp by provoking an accident at work. (I think he was a construction foreman or some such.) It backfired. He was paralyzed. And Gina took the money and left him for another man. Val thinks the other man was Ramiro, but it's become increasingly clear that the man was Mariano (Ramiro came later). Val doesn't seem to have any idea about the affair between Mariano and Gina. He blames Mariano for his paralysis, and he blames Ramiro for being dumped. And he blames Ramiro, Mariano, and Marcelo for Gina's death.

The more we learn about how Mariano betrayed Val, Jennifer and Ramiro, the more I wonder how the hell he can be so high and mighty with Ramiro and Marcelo when he thinks they've slighted his nieces. He has no right to judge anybody!

Thanks, Sneaky! That was great. Added your recap to the main post.

This moment I forgot about, but thought you summed it up great.

"Val's mom also has a flashback to being a total b$@%ch when she caught Val and Gina in bed together, she started out calling Gina a sex worker and somehow got more insulting from there when Valentin told her she was his novia"

I thought that was an odd reaction too. Once you knew Gina, I would definitely second that attitude, but that was the first time she met her, and I imagine Tin must have been really young (17,18?). This was a bit overboard to get bent out of shape like that.

And this was definitely worth the tune out. Very irritating moment:

"Abue goes and yells at Santicelo for a while and poor Santi just gives up on explaining and takes it (and I tune out and use my RPC, so I may have missed something, I'm just so annoyed at her for treating a man who's confined to a hospital bed this way) "

Thanks again Sneaky - without a doubt worth the wait!!

I think part of Nerina's annoyance came from the fact that she had just come from the hospital, visiting her sick husband, to find her son boinking some unknown woman in her house, without a care in the world. But yeah, she was harsh, given she didn't yet know what kind of woman Gina was. She would be later proven right, of course...

Good point, Vivi. Considering the context she must have been stressed and worried, she deserves a break. And maybe it's more of an odd behavior on Tin's part. Then again Nerina herself confessed she wasn't telling kids how serious the illness was.

Well my earlier question was answered in this episode, Iñaki wants AnaLe (just has the hots or really is hung up on her, who knows) more than a friendship and brotherhood with Santiago and Ramiro

Thanks everyone and Ria for posting
Especially thanks Vivi for filling in, knowing TioM was keeping Gina is one more puzzle piece in this crazy story

I was really cheering for Maribel when Orlando confronted her, I like her better than Analu sometimes, she can be selfish, but she's got plenty of spunk.

Thanks for answering my questions Vivi. :) And I agree! Mariano has no right to judge Ramiro when he isn't exactly a lily white flower himself.
