A Que No Me Dejas (AQNMD) #11. Monday September 26, 2016. Discussion Page + Episode Highlights
Labels: dejas
For some reason the show started and ended early, so my recording started at the end of a phone call between Nuria and Adrian, where he tells her off after she tries to gloat about Paulina dumping him for Camilo.
Gonzo convinced Monica to move. The kids are not on board. Elisa smells a rat and knows it's a trick.
Nuria asks a frienemy at uni to help her find a way to buy a degree. At the same time, Gonzo tells Leonel to investigate just how many credits Nuria has still to take to get her damn degree.
Mau is released from the hospital. Everyone happily welcomes him home, except Nuria. He's having nightmares about the shooting. The doc recommends therapy.
Camilo admits his true feelings to clueless Pau. But he wants to continue with the charade until she's married in a month, because he feels he owes her after the way he dumped her and broke her heart.
Karen is crushing on Camilo.
Although she hates lying to Gonzo, Inez will support Pau and Adrian and keep quiet about their wedding plans.
Adrian sneaks into Pau's room and breaks the news about his sister and BIL moving to his new town since her dad drove them out of biz. They realize they have to come up with a new plan for where they'll live.
While happily packing up, Juli finds a notarized document pertaining to the business her dad had with Gonzo. She finally makes the connection to Edgar's name. She goes to the notary, but he needs proof that her dad is dead and she's his heir. She'll come back tomorrow with the needed docs.
Camilo definitely thinks his dad is cheating on his mom. He becomes more certain when he sees plane tickets for Alfonso and Monica (to go see the new house).
Pau takes Mau to the beach (to meet up with Adrian). They meet and start talking to Pau's two little brothers.
My knee-jerk reaction to Julieta's find is that it might distract her for a while, but in the long term it just seems to give her more ammunition to use against Paulina and her family. The only thing she and Adrian can do is to escape from her altogether is to change their names and move to the other side of the planet. Until Julieta is in the manicomio or the cemetery Adrian will never have a girlfriend, wife, children, or even a life.
I don't blame Monica's sons for objecting to this move. They might smell the same rat their grandmother does.
As to your question about why Gonzalo and Inez haven't thrown Nuria out, I've seen this in life with parents in far more modest circumstances. My useless brother was valued over me by a narcissistic mother who needed him to need her while I wasn't valued because I was not like her and the mother of two daughters who made the older one into the Tita of their family while the younger one got away with slacking off, possibly due to depression.
None of this is good. I suspect that Gonzalo and Ines have some kind of guilt complex about doing anything like that, like most parents. Ines might fear the fallout once Paulina flies the coop (if she isn't ultimately prevented from doing so) and throwing Nuria out now would not improve the situation much because she'll rant on and on about how Mauricio is replacing her in their hearts, budget, and inheritance.
If Nuria manages to fake getting a degree that secret will be outed eventually when she refuses to go to work. Whether there will be hell for her to pay for that is another question with probably the same answer.
Had a univision since yesterday. Anyone else
Havin that problem? They are just off the air.
Gone. But I csn read the recaps, thanks for that.
Kelly
Wonder why he didn't have anymore kids
With the wife? After the girls she could't have
Anymore? So he ups and have two boys, by someone who could give him what he wants, that can continue the family name. Ooooooo thats dirty. Ok Nandicta, thanks for puttin up discussion page. Be safe.
They certainly pulled out all the stops on little Mauricio's bedroom...looked like DisneyWorld. Still have a soft spot for Gonzalo. I can see why he gets away with murder, so to speak. Quite the charmer is our lad.
Finding Adrian's perpetual jealousy tiresome. Liked the actor so much better in Lo Que la Vida Me Robó. As a shifty rogue he can be delightful. As all out galan, not so much.
Vivi, you're a gem for posting those highlights! Thank you, amiga! I'll add bullet points for the missing first scene (scenes?) that your DVR cut off and add everything to the main post when I watch the episode.
Niecie, thank you for popping in just to leave a kind message. Much appreciated.
Nina, thanks, dear. I hope you get your satellite problems fixed soon.
JudyB, Osvaldo Benavides is no Colunga pero tiene lo suyo, he has his own special charm and he is very talented. Talent is schmexy! ;)
Anon @10:53, the spam has been removed. I'm usually on top of these things but this week life took over.
