Sueño de amor #122 ( MEX #127) Wed. 9/7/16 Finally!

Comments in parentheses are mine.

So, we are starting where we left off with Esperanza never having gotten the lesson about calling before you go to somebody's home and getting an eyeful of Cristina answering Ricardo's door in her pj's and barefoot to boot. Seems that Esperanza has one of "those" excuses: she was just bringing Ricardo some of the oatmeal cookies he likes. Yup, and he also likes blueberry crepes answers Cristina. She babbles on about him usually not sleeping this late but that he had a lot of things he had to do last night. Esperanza gives her a look up and down and says she can only imagine. Esperanza decides it is better that she go and hands the "homey" basket of cookies to Cristina. Esperanza leaves with Cristina holding the cookies and taking a look at them. (She should try them and if they are any good, eat them all or give them to the kids for just having to put up with Esperanza as Ricardo slept.)

Back at Esperanza's, Anya and Pedro are setting the table for breakfast and talking about how they hope Esperanza's little delivery went well especially after yesterday's kiss. They agree that she deserves to be happy. Anya reminds him that the greatest miracle of all is Esperanza overcoming cancer. What she would not give to have her dad there with them now. They kiss. Esperanza walks in upset and asks them to guess who answered Ricardo's door. She tells them: Cristina in pajamas and starts to cry thinking that Cristina spent the night with Ricardo.

Back at Ricardo's a perky Cristina is giving him a pancake breakfast in bed. (There was a bad edit here cutting out conversation) Ricardo was complaining about her making him breakfast and telling her she knows why. She tells him he is going to forgive her anyway and since he is indecisive why not do something to tip the balance to her favor. So, he can be quiet and eat. And, oh, by the way, Esperanza stopped by with a plate of cookies for him. She put them in the kitchen. (Ricardo is smart this once and does not say anything about Esperanza or the cookies) He is wondering about how Pámela is. All of the kids are still asleep. Ricardo is worried about her when she wakes up to the death of her brother. Cristina would like to be there to support her with her parents away and her being all alone.

At the Guerrero breakfast table, Esperanza is wishing she could have a taco like Pedro is eating. He encourages her to be patient: little by little she will be able to eat more things. Esperanza thinks she has lost Ricardo. Anya gives Esperanza her unsolicited opinion about Ricardo as Pedro tries to rein her in: Ricardo is confusing her, too: how could he kiss her yesterday when he knew he was spending the night with Cristina. Anya is sorry if she went too far. Esperanza says she didn't and she is right. (Then there is TMI with her son and his girlfriend as ) Esperanza describes how the kiss felt and how kisses don't lie. Pedro reminds her how Ricardo says he loves both of them and he is not lying about that. After more talk about the situation, Esperanza says she has accepted that Cristina will end up with Ricardo.

Back in the boudoir, Ricardo knows something is up and reminds Cristina that they agreed to always tell each other the truth. First of all it hurt her to see him and Esperanza kissing last night. It also bothers her that Esperanza came over to his house but then again Esperanza saw her there in her pajamas. Ricardo does not want to see things escalate between the two of them. Cristina (rightfully) reminds him that the responsibility lies with him to make up his mind up in the shortest time possible. (another bad edit ) Pámela comes in and runs to cry in Ricardo's arms.

Ernesto amd Viviana are still talking. He tells her that he prefers to wait on the transplant list. She asks why???He thinks the surgery is too risky and does not want to see his children without a mother if something were to happen to her. Luca does not know yet but he will tell him ASAP. Viviana tells him how much he has changed and guesses the reason is Eaperanza. He agrees. Now he has lost her. Viviana reminds him they talked about her before. Esperanza was never his. He insists it could have been. Indignant, Viviana asks if he is just going to die because of Esperanza. What about his children? He then goes on about the terrible unforgiveable sins he has committed in his life which he refuses to talk about. He does not deserve his children. There is nothing else to say.

The doorbell rings at the Guerrero house and when Esperanza opens the door it is Ricardo looking serious and nervous. He asks if he can come in. Esperanza asks: what for? He wants to talk to her, so she lets him in. She starts off by asking if he liked her cookies. Yes, he did but the real reason he came by was to let her know that he did not have sex with Cristina. Esperanza says Cristina said nothing while Esperanza assumed they did have sex and Cristina did not deny it.(Why would she?) Ricardo then goes on about how she slept in the guest room because they had gotten in late with Pámela. Suddenly Esperanza feels relieved. She brings up the kiss. He says it never should have happened. She says it was marvelous. Ricardo still looking serious and nervous leaves.

The next day comes and Tracy calls. Ernesto tells her that he has her money as his henchman Regino watches on. Does she have the recording? She tells him to pay attention. They are going to meet each other at the same place as last time. They will meet at 1:00. She will get the money and he will get the recording. He also wants her password to her cloud account. The deal is done.

All the kids are back to classes at the Instituto Palacios. Everyone is sad as Kiko (walks in without support), Estrella, Adrián and a sobbing Salma all enter the classroom and each leaves a white carnation on Paulo's vacant desk. Esperanza addresses the class saying although Paulo was far from being sappy, but he would have loved the flowers. Cristina is going to have a few words for them in the auditorium but first Esperanza is going to have some words of her own for them. Paulo acted like he did because he lacked the one most important thing in life: love. Esperanza says she herself wondered if she might have been able to have reached him. Adrián stops her and says no, there was nothing she could have done. Adrián says that he as as an addict knows that the pain that addicts suffer has to be faced by by each person alone. Esperanza agrees and wants them to forgive Paulo for any bad experiences they had with him, forgive themselves for not being able to help him and have good memories of him so he can live on in them.

Ernesto and Tracy are rendevousing at the designated very public meeting place. Regino has the money in the briefcase with the tracking bug. Ernesto tells Tracy, all decked out in her cap and sunglasses, that he is not going to do anything to her. Anyway, he tells her she is looking very worn down which seems to make her self conscious. Ernesto tosses her the briefcase. She checks it for the money and produces the drive. She says it is the only one. On it is a file with the info to access her cloud account. Ernesto hopes she is not fooling him and that this is the last time he sees her in his life. She agrees. She has her money and wants to drop off the map. She tosses him the drive and leaves. Ernesto checks his cell phone with Ramiro watching. The tracker is working perfectly.

At the Insituto Palacios in the auditorium, everyone is seated. There is a large portrait of Paulo on the stage. Pámela's father is on his way from the airport as Pámela sits with Ricardo. Selena gives her a picture she has drawn for her. Ricardo tells Pámela she is a part of the Alegría family. Esperanza comes in and sits with Pámela. Cristina gives everyone the "we are family" speech and how they must come together to deal with drug addiction. They need to help their students solve their problems. So, she is starting an initiative immediatley for them to get closer to their students. She asks them to all support Pámela. The Instituto Palacios and Cristina personally will take care of her until she is of age. Salma gets up and tells them that Paulo taught her we all need someone and that if you do not love yourself there will be an emptiness that will be impossible to fill. She describes Paulo as a boy who needed to love and be loved. She asks that they all applaud him to say goodbye and they do. FINALLY, Pámela's father arrives and she goes running to his arms.

At the same time, Tracy is elatedly dancing around Ciro's apartment with her new found million. Ernesto and Regino pull up outside. Ernesto has on a hat, sunglasses, a trench coat and leather gloves. He is in all black. No, he does not need Regino's help. He leaves the car. Tracy goes up to the roof of the apartment building. (To get some air? Nobody tells us but) she is standing there very confidently looking out close to the edge when Ernesto emerges in his disguise with a gun drawn. She is talking to herself about how far she can go with all that money as Ernesto sneaks up on her. Rather than shoot her, he is able to push her off the roof with the muzzle of the gun at the back of her neck. There she goes flailing and falling as he watches. His sunglasses are off: the better to see her hit the ground, I guess. Down below we see Tracy has fallen on the grass as a group of people gather. Ernesto gets one last look in and disappears. One woman calls for help. Tracy is not looking good. She looks dead. Regino rushes in as part of the crowd to assess the situation as Ernesto grabs the money and suitcase from Ciro's and makes sure it is all wiped clean eventhough he has on his gloves. As he is finishing up, Luca calls to give him hell about not getting the transplant. Ernesto will see him later at his house. Ernesto hangs up on him and leaves the apartment.

Luca is all upset and tells Viviana that Ernesto sounded strange, nervous. Viviana fills him in on everything Ernesto told her earlier about not getting the transplant. She also brings up the part about Ernesto talking about his "unforgivable sins" being the worst part of all and then not deserving his children. Luca decides he has to talk to Ernesto and talk him into getting the operation.

Ernesto is going down the outside stairs of the apartment building when he almost runs into a resident. He momentarily takes off his hat and sun glasses to not draw too much attention to himself. (Hmmmmm) He finally is out. Regino is still in the crowd as the paramedics arrive to assess Tracy. They check for a pulse and the next thing they are putting her into a cervical collar before moving her. Regino is looking concerned. The next thing you know, they are loading Tracy into the ambulance. She is alive. Regino scurries back to the car to tell a waiting Ricardo the bad news. Regino asks Ernesto if Tracy saw him. Ernesto says no. Regino says that is good. Ernesto tells Regino they are going to have to make sure she dies.

At the Instituto Palacios, Ricardo is with Rodrigo, Selena and Abril. Rodrigo asks what is going to happen with Pámela. It turns out that Pámela's dad is moving them to the USA. The best part is that he and Pámela are never going to be separated again. Ricardo agrees that they are all going to miss her a lot. Selena shrugs her shoulders and says life goes on.

At the Instituto Palacios, Cristina has summoned Esperanza to her office. Cristina needs her help with her new campaign to prevent addictions. Cristina knows she had Paulo in her class and also knows Adrián. Esperanza says she has dealt with the topic before with her students, too. Cristina wants to devote two class sessions a week to this topic and they need to get a curriculum and activities in place. Eventhough the Paulo incident was not their fault, Cristina would like to avoid something like that happening again. Esperanza suggests involving Ricardo (guess just to make it more uncomfortable and increase the stress to new highs) because of his background with the marines and police. It does not take long before the sniping begins. Cristina suggests that of course Esperanza would like to involve Ricardo so she could work with him on this topic. Esperanza says it was just a suggestion and Cristina should not get angry. No, Cristina is not getting angry. Esperanza hopes they are not going to argue. No way! answers Cristina. Their situation is basically irreparable. Esperanza counters that if anyone should be angry it is her. Cristina does not get that because Esperanza was the one who gave her the opportunity to fall in love with Ricardo and then put herself in between them. Esperanza clarifies that she is referring to what happened yesterday morning when she dropped off the cookies. By the way, Ricardo stopped on by to tell her that nothing went on between him and Cristina on Saturday night. Cristina says she said nothing: Esperanza saw her in her pajamas and assumed things. Cristina goes on to say she stayed at Ricardo's because of her daughter loving to be with Rodrigo and Selena. Esperanza tells her that if by telling her that she is trying to show her how many things she has in common with Ricardo, then Esperanza is there to tell her she has twenty years on her. Cristina does not see it like that. Twenty years and they were separated almost the whole time and then there was her failed wedding. Esperanza reminds her of her own failed wedding, too. They are tied on that one. Let's see who breaks the tie. Cristina tells her that the love Ricardo and she have for each other is very strong and Esperanza would do them all a favor by getting out of the way. Esperanza insists if Ricardo loved Cristina so much, he would not be so indecisive, kissed her or came to her house to explain things.

Anastasia comes in to announce Ricardo wanting to see Cristina. Esperanza leaves. Ricardo has news about Tracy falling off/jumping off a building. She is in grave condition. He needs to go see about her. Will she take care of his children? Of course she will. Parting comment from Cristina: she just spoke to Esperanza and she does not know what is going to happen if he does not resolve the issue soon. He nods and leaves. Esperanza is conveniently outside the office and volunteers to go with him. They leave. Anastasia looks concerned.

At Ernesto's, Ernesto and Regino are discussing how to finally kill Tracy. Regino says it is very easy with potassium chloride or an overdose of insulin. Ernesto tells him to get everything ready. Regino leaves. Luca arrives. The first thing he wants to know about are "those terrible crimes" Ernesto says he has committed. Ernesto looks surprised. Luca reminds him all is forgiven and forgotten about the La Sombra fiasco at Paro's party. There are no other sins. Luca thinks that Ernesto just wants to die. And so what if he did? answers Ernesto. Luca reminds him he has four childre. That is the problem. Ernesto counters with: Pato and Luca are happily married. Adrián has recovered. Luquita is only six months old. Luca wants to know why he has given up. Ernesto, explains he has not given up. He is on the waiting list. He simply does not want s mother's kidney. If Luca would not mind excusing him, he is very tired. He asks Luca to forgive him and kisses him as he goes to his room.

When Cristina comes out of her office poor Anastasia has to fill her in how Esperanza volunteered to go with Ricardo and the two left together. Cristina concludes it just gets worse everyday.

Erasmo has brought Kiko, Estrella, Anastasia, and Luquita to see the house he has just bought for his family. Yes, Anastasia is included because now he has something to offer her. They all love it. Yes,it will take years to pay off the mortgage but finally they have their own roof over their heads.

Ricardo and Esperanza arrive at the hospital and Ricardo talks to the doctor since Tracy has nobody else. Esperanza asks how Tracy is. She has broken bones throughout her body and is not expected to live. In spite of all that she is conscious so Ricardo can go in to see her.

The Gallo family and Anastasia take a tour of the new house complete with a statue of La Virgen de la Paz. Everyone has his/her own room. Anastasia volunteers to furnish the living room. Erasmo says no, they will acquire the furnishings little by little. He has a surprise for her. Kiko and Estrella bring in a big box.

At the hospital, Ricardo goes in to see the bandaged Tracy. Tracy wants to know what he is doing here. She tells Ricardo "they" pushed her. She did not jump. She is sure it was Ernesto. He has always hated her and she knew about "things" he had done. Ricardo tells her she has told him so many lies he does ot know whether to believe her or not.
How does he know it is not some sort of trap? He reminds her she did try to kill him. She says Ernesto gave her her children.

Back at the new Gallo house, Anastasia has gone through progressively smaller boxes looking for her gift. She ends up with a small jewelry box. Erasmo has been a builder all his life so he goes into the analogy of having a sound foundation for any construction so no earthquake can knock it down. That is what he and Anastasia have in their relationship. He opens the box and there is an engagement ring. So in front of the most important people in their lives, he asks her to marry him. She says yes.

The next thing we see are Selena and Rodrigo at the hospital with Cristina. Ricardo wants to give them an opportunity to see their mother, if they want to, since she might be going to heaven soon. The kids look panicked. Selena asks if she is going to die. Ricardo says he is afraid she is. Their mother only wants a chance to say goodbye to them. Esperamza (Why is she still hanging around?? I ask myself) comes by to say that the children can go in to see their mother. Cristina tells them they can give their mother some final joy by going in to see her. Selena is afraid. Ricardo tells them that in spite of everything their mother did, deep down she always did love them, in her own way. Now she needs them. Rodrigo will go. Selena is not too sure but agrees. Ricardo takes them in. Cristina is left alone with Esperanza. They just give each other "look".

At Margarita's house, she is looking for Félix. In his artist smock and beret he is painting a room for their new child! The adoption has gone through. Margarita says how can she be a mother at her age? The kid will think she is its great grandmother. That is a decision they have to make together. Félix says she needs to calm down and get used to the idea that in a few days their child will be arriving.

At Anya's place, she is giving Pedro boxing lessons with the bag. Hitting the bag is the solution to all of their fights. They shout out their complaints about each other and hit the bag for each one. It seems a lot of their problems come from a lack of time with each other and living apart. Since Pedro is hoping to get a job at Ernesto and Luca's company and Anya will be getting a promotion at work so she will be making a little more, Anya suggests they pool their money and rent a place together. They agree they are in love with each other and are ready to take that risk.

In the hospital, a crying Tracy tells her two crying children at her bed side that she loves them and they are guilty of nothing. She asks them to come closer. Rodrigo holds her hand. She knows it didn't seem so and she never showed it, but she did always love them. Rodrigo asks if she is going to heaven. She doesn't know. She touches both of their faces. She thanks them for coming and tells them to take care of their father. He is the best man in the world. She asks the children to forgive her and they do. Tracy caresses them and tells them she would gladly be pregnant with them all over again. Next she tells them how excited they were when Selena said "daddy" and then Tracy dies. Ricardo calls for the doctor as the children sob.

Comments:
Esperanza was getting on my last nerve with her hanging around the hospital after Cristina arrived with the kids knowing her presence would increase the stress in an already impossibly stressful situation. I am really developing a dislike for her character.

At least Tracy is finally gone. I am still wondering about the guy who saw Ernesto on he stairs without the hat or glasses.

A big Hmmmmm until tomorrow.

Thank you, Jarifa! I look forward to reading your recap during my break! Just wanted to pop in, do a happy dance and scream: ¡Última semanaaaaa! Yay! Last week! Then I remember all the hilarious fun I'm having here and I get the sads! :(

Catch you guys after I read the recap. ¡Hasta lueguito! :)

Oh Jarifa, another truly marvelous recap. You write so well and your carefully constructed summaries are always a joy to read.

"Esperanza suggests involving Ricardo (guess just to make it more uncomfortable and increase the stress to new highs)" and "Then there is TMI with her son and his girlfriend" were among many favorites.

"Esperanza insists if Ricardo loved Cristina so much, he would not be so indecisive, kissed her or came to her house to explain things". I agree. I still feel she has the inside track and I am rooting for her. My logic is that Cris is beautiful and will find someone else. While Esperanza handled her health crisis poorly, she did it for selfless reasons. I think she and Ric are the better match. Ric's children have each other and can continue their friendship with Cris' daughter. Not being part of the same "family" doesn't mean they won't see each other.

"Erasmo has brought Kiko, Estrella, Anastasia, and Luquita to see the house he has just bought for his family". Finally! What a dolt! But, handsome certainly. Sigh...

"He then goes on about the terrible unforgiveable sins he has committed in his life which he refuses to talk about. He does not deserve his children. There is nothing else to say". Well, I have lots to say :) First, Vivi is right. He has 4, count 'em, 4 children! If that alone isn't reason to live, I don't know what is...I'm glad he isn't taking Vivi's kidney but hope of another donor seem nil.

I'm glad Tracy told her kids she loved them, lying til the end. Even by her own admission, she despised her daughter.

I can't believe I'm saying this but I am relieved Tracy is dead. I don't believe she would have faded away, her insanity was unpredictable and she was a danger to everyone in her orbit.

I fear this will end badly for Ernesto. I'm sad as his romance with Espe had the wings and was ready to take flight. If only Osario saw the possibilities as we did.

Jarifa, thank you! I am hoping we have at least one more of your outstanding recaps ere the end.

Diana

Diana, thank you for your kind comments!

Yes, Tracy was lying to the very end. I was really worried for a second she was going to tell Selena just how much she had always hated her when she first said "papá" . I was so glad that at least the kids were left with a positive image as much as possible of their mother and absolved of any responsibility for her craziness. That should make their lives better.

I wonder if Ricardo will do some investigating of his own into what Tracy said about Ernesto being responsible for her being pushed off the roof.

Jarifa, Yes. I was very relieved for Selena. If Tracy had been honest, I don't think Selena would ever have recovered emotionally. Hearing your mother hates you on her deathbed? Even years of therapy could not erase that wound I fear.

When I read what you wrote, I also thought Ric was going to investigate. I also fear the person who saw Ernesto coming down the stairs might blow the whistle.

I know I'm wrong for wanting a murderer not to be discovered but I must confess that is how I feel.

It sounds as though he might pass before he goes to jail. Not a happy ending in either case.

Diana

Thanks Jarifa for the detailed recap.

The last thing Esperanza needs right now is to eat tacos.
As plump as she already is with her tic-tac diet and having to wait 30 minutes before eating one and 30 minutes after, ain't nobody have time for that!!

Viviana was right. Kids grow up so fast. Seems like yesterday that baby Lupita was barely three months old and now he is six!! By Anastasia's wedding he could be holding the dress trail! Or throwing petals!

This is too much fun and I am also sorry this is the last week! Who knows, maybe Osorio has a sequel in mind, where we will be able to enjoy Pato o Pedro's marital bliss. Or maybe Kiko and his dancing career. Anyone wanna vote on Facelook?

Diana, I don't want to see Ernesto investigated either. I think his broken spirit and terminal health issue are anvil enough.

Pablo, good call about baby Luquita! My question is will Kiko dance at Erasmo and Anastasia's reception? We have to have at least one more wedding in the last 5 episodes, right?

I am a little confused. In the recap, you write that after Tracy fell or was pushed off the roof, that Ricardo grabbed the briefcase full of money from Ciro's apartment. Did you mean Ernesto? That would make more sense.

Thanks, Go Blue Fan, for catching the typo!

Yes, it was Erny, who thanks to the GPS knew exactly where (among the hundreds of apartments) he had to look for the briefcase, LOL!!

Ernesto going full Lucio with his sinister-ness!

I agree with the previous person, who said that Espi is getting on everyone's nerves.

Good to hear from you, Steve!

Jarifa: I still don't trust Ernesto because his evilness is coming back & Espi & the kids are fools are falling for his "sympathy me-me" shtick.

Steve, yes, ITA Ernesto has slid back to the dark and crazy side much like he was at the beginning.

Thanks, Jarifa. Great recap. My favorite: "His sunglasses are off: the better to see her hit the ground, I guess." Yeah, you'd hate to miss that grisly sight *shudder*. So how soon will he be arrested or dead?

Maybe the happy ending will be that Ricardo dies also, or leaves on a special years-long super secret agent mission, and his kids get to live with Cristina and Abril.

I haven't been watching much, mostly just reading the recaps, but how does Erasmo have so much money now that he can buy a house? Just a couple months ago he couldn't even buy milk or pay the rent on the barebones little place. Is his job upgrade THAT lucrative? I guess so; it is Sueñolandia after all.

Julia, all I can say is that this has been an interesting experiment.

Jarifa, thanks for this recap of telltail stuff. Like that really stooopid slow motion nice &
Snarky dumb argument they had in christyVs
Office. Really dumb. The kiss probably wasnt
That good anyway. At that cheap wedding.

O Ernesto, so stupid, just die, you'll never
Have espranza. He don't deserve a good kidney just to stay alive and hurt people when they don't do what he wants them too.
Even espranza don't deserve that. But I wish
She'd stay away from ricardo. I really don't
Want them to end up together. Not up to me.

Who was It that said these children should forgive themselves for not helping paulo? They couldn't, they were Just as screwed up as he was. You can't save somebody from drownng if you're drowning too, and they were enjoying his stupidity and actions. His parents started that nightmare.
But hopefully pamala will fare better than her
Big brother. And what happened to her dads throat? Maybe he'll be a better father to her,
Now that his son fell through the cracks for lack of Good parenting. okay back to something more fun. Espy baked oatmeal cookies bleh!!!
Felix adopted a baby. And didn't tell his wife.
Who is a grandma. And don't want to take care of a teeny tiny newborn. What is he? Crazy? Yeah!!!! Lol!

Espranza may have had sefless intentions, but there was selfish under currents too. She decided he shouldn't suffer with her and her
Inter circle, which he was a part of too. They
Were gonna be husband and wife. She may have loved him but the way she showed It was very Hurtful. He's forgiven her, but what she did to Him Knock the hell outta that "twenty year history Of loooove". Keep fightin christyV. But He'll probably end up with espy. this is the first TN I've seen that I really didn't want the lead lovers to windup with each other, there's just no chemistry there. Osorio take A bow!!!!

Nina, as much as I wanted to cut stuff out of the Cristina/Esperanza argument I just couldn't because their sniping back and forth was so bad it was good. : )

Jarifa, this was stellar! I especially appreciated the generous details, the spot-on commentary and your reporting of Kracy's mumbled last words (how you managed to catch what she said is a mystery to me!). Thank you! :)

I must say that both CVV and Esperanza were supremely annoying in this episode. I've become immune to Ricardolt's irritating character because I've reached a point where I dislike him with such an intensity that I find myself tuning him out, half the time. However, in spite of their desperate and undignified drooling over a jerk who isn't worth the time of day, I thought CVV and Esperanza were tolerable. All in all, they seemed like mature and responsible women, with a strong character and a generous nature. Now I'm so very disappointed in them with every passing episode. How could they have stooped so low? They've now reached the level of highschool mean girls petty sniping! Come on! They are both better than this! You mentioned that Esperanza stuck around at the hospital to keep an eye on Ric, but CVV tried to do the same thing in Ric's house. "Cristina would like to be there to support her (Pamela) with her parents away and her being all alone." Yeah right! That's the official party line, but in truth, we know CVV wants to keep orbiting Ric to see if she can score some points. Both CVV and Esperanza were engaging in some pesky and unseemly orbiting.

When Ernesto asserted that his children will be fine, on the grounds that PatoLuca are married, Adrián is fully recovered and "Luquita is six months old", I just burst out laughing! Yeah, Luquita is six months old, he can fend for himself! By next year, he'll be mixing cement while dancing to Uncle Jero's construction song and taking bird baths at the end of the workday with Uncle Erasmo! :D

Another thing I wanted to mention, I'm no physicist but how come Kracy fell off the building face down but landed on her back? Actually, scratch that! How come Kracy survived a fall like that? On Monday night, a villain from "Yago" fell from that same distance, on his back (he didn't switch position mid-air the poor thing!) and he made a horrendous splat! on the asphalt, with blood and brain matter all over. Kracy fell forward, pedaling in the air, then seconds later she manages to turn around mid-air and land on her back, without a synthetic hair out of place. If it weren't for that little "nosebleed", one would think she was taking a nap! Oh, well! Why should this surprise me? Osorio is asleep at the wheel... yet again! :D

One last thing, then I'll definitely go: The guy who bumped into Ernesto and prompted him to stoopidly take off his disguise, was listening to Kiko's song on his iPod! Any chance to promote the musical talents of the producer's son must be exploited!

Thanks again, Jarifa and amigowz! Good night :)

I would like to add one more thing: Kracy didn't loose any of her shoes.

Like in that movie FLOOD (2007) where a woman spent some time swimming back and forth saving people with both shoes on!!

Hahahaha! I didn't notice the shoes! I looked up the movie you mentioned and the second I saw that it was a British disaster movie, I went "Aaaah!" like the IT Crowd's Maurice Moss in this clip and I didn't read any further: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1EBfxjSFAxQ (If any of you have a chance of getting ahold of this comedy series, please give it a shot! It is excellent!)

By the way, this was the emergency number that Moss was trying to remember in that clip: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HWc3WY3fuZU (Needless to say, I know that number by heart! :D)

Nandicta, I loved your "orbiting" description. Perfectly put! I can picture it. You also have a very good ear to have been able to recognize Kiko's song. Wow!

Thanks for the clips! They're hilarious!
I have seen very few british comedy series (AB FAB, THE LEAGUE OF GENTLEMEN, MIND YOUR LANGUAGE to name a few), but I have loved every little bit of them. Thanks for sharing this, because I will start digging tomorrow (God willing) to see more.

Thanks, Jarifa! I don't usually pick up on these details but I recognized the melody and those first verses about the girl fitting in his puzzle or juaréver! :D

Pablo, I'm glad you enjoyed those clips. You can also try "Fawlty Towers" (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tcliR8kAbzc) or some of the BBC Comedy Sketches like Harry Enfield's (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LS37SNYjg8w).

Another absolute favorite of mine is the Scottish comedy show "Chew The Fat", it takes a trained ear and some help to understand the multi-layered jokes but it the sketches are some of the most hilarious stuff I've ever seen. One of my favorite characters in this show is a thug called The Big Man, who flies to the "rescue" when needed, opening with: "Is there a problem here?" In the following clip (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_uKDm6dUCUM), the cinema sales clerk refuses to sell tickets to a girl because she looks underage and doesn't carry ID. He argues with her mom until The Big Man swoops in and asks the clerk how old he is. The terrified man replies 24 so The Big Man proceeds to telling him the harshest, most creative and hilarious insult/threat I have ever heard: "(24?) I've had steak pies older than that! I bet if the Big Man was to stick his hand down your knickers, he wouldn't find any hair! Just traces of your old man's lipstick! (...) Give the lassies the tickets or The Big Man will stick his mobile phone up your keekywinker and keep phoning it till your wee arse gets a brain tumor!" Bwahahahahaha!

Thanks! I did enjoy the clips but had so much to do plus the recap that didn't have time to do the research I wanted.
